The hostel has an excellent location, very close to one of the main entrances to the medina, which made exploring incredibly convenient. The property itself is beautiful and charming. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Great value for money - affordable pricing without compromising on quality. Overall, a wonderful experience in a perfect setting for discovering the area.
Cons: The breakfast service could be improved with more attentive staff at the beginning of the meal. It would be helpful to have someone available to assist guests when breakfast starts.

I stayed in the most beautiful, elegant-looking hotel. The rooms are unique, with stunning views. Room rates are also reasonable. I received first-class service from the moment I arrived at the hotel until the moment I left. The excellent location of the hotel is a big plus. The facilities were top-notch, and the view from my room was simply amazing.I really liked the location in the city center and the atmosphere. I will definitely come back!

Good location and very accessible. Clean rooms.
Cons: Takes only cash and confiscates your passport till you pay the full amount. Even though we took private room towels have to be rented. Front doors are locked by the reception and have to be opened by them everytime. One time it was locked and we couldn't get out of the hostel till the person came back - dangerous in case of emergencies

Breakfast was home made by a local when you order it, it's very tasty and the best mint tea tasted there! There's always somebody at the reception 24h x7. And the guys at the reception are always nice and friendly! 👏
Cons: There's no locker, you need to have one of you want to lock your things in your dormitory for safe keeping. You don't have the key of your room. So it will be always open. They don't give you the key to the hostel either so if you arrive late at night you need to ring the bell and it's a bit bothering of you sleep downstairs. You have only one bathroom+ shower for the ten people in the first floor, so in the morning evening it's often busy and you need to wait or hope the one upstairs is free. There's. A kitchen but it's not that tidy. Honestly we where there in February which is not high season, I think in high season it's going to be crazy if you need to take a shower or go to the bathroom. Beds are very big but I don't think the blankets are cleaned often.

Cons: We booked a private room on the top of the roof. The room was very cold and drafty during the night. Bathroom really small. There were no hangers, furniture, where to put our belonging. On our second stay we didn't have any hot water. During our stay, which was not pleasant especially after cold trip in Sahara. In the evening we could feel smoking coming into our room

Super-friendly staff. Lovely rooftop terrace, where you can meet other travellers.
Cons: The lockers are big wooden boxes situated under the beds. They are on wheels, so you can roll them out. But the metal wheels on the hard floor make a noise which will wake you up, even with the best earplugs...very annoying. Also, you can't use the kitchen after 10pm.

Very well located in the Medina of Marrakech, taxis and buses stop just few minutes walking from it. Even if it's in the Medina, the Hostel is in a quiet and safe street and there's no noise at night. Once you make a reservation, they text you all the infos to get there with every kind of transportation. It's a Hostel but they have few private rooms with private bathrooms. We went for one of those. Basic room but with all the facilities and hot water. There's also airco for summer season. Traditional breakfast was nice and they serve it in the terrace if the western is good. You can buy also water and cold drinks directly there. They have also laundry service for an affordable price. The guy who works there, Salaah, is very kind, friendly and helpful. He gave us suggestions about real prices of taxis and infos about where to go around. We booked with the hostel also a round trip to Ourika Valley (recommended!) and Salaah took us till the meeting point to go there. They offer many options (desert, seaside and so on) for good prices. If you're on budget and you know how to travel, it's a nice place where to stay.

Really amazing staff, super helpful and friendly. Great location, little bit away from the business but walkable to major locations. Breakfast was good, nice terrace and big lockers.
Cons: No curtains on beds isn’t ideal, especially given the bottom room is quite open plan. Top bunks also don’t have much space to keep things (eg phone, water bottle etc) and are quite high up. But good value and the staff really are brilliant.

Really nice place, very helpful people, and convenient for the grand taxis and buses to the station, as well as the Medina. + clean, calm and peaceful place to stay. + Salah and his team - exceptional performance. Always at place, super helpful, can advice places so visit, change money, to eat, etc. Flexible and inventive. + Very good location: in medina, but quite. 5 minutes to pickup point, close to main central touristic objects, 15 minutes to local food market.
Cons: - overall facilities could be better, for instance there were some broken shower faucets - no variety at breakfast. Morocco is a country with great food, if you will add some local products to the breakfast, like cheese or yogurt - you will only win.

Everything was great! The hostel was clean, room had AC and the breakfast was a great start to the day. Big lockers, good wi-fi, great terrace and the list goes on. I found all I was looking for. Perfect also for long stays. As a tall person, a big plus were the beds: huge and comfy like very few other places. All the people working there are extremely attentive, everything you might need you just have to ask and you will find help. A special mention to Salah: my friend, you’re an amazing and kind person, thank you for all the chats and advices, I wish you all the good things in this crazy world! Lots of love <3

This was my second time staying in this hostel, after a desert tour I booked through them. As for the tour, it's definitely worth it and booking it thru the hostel makes it very easy, however, I'd advice clarifying the details:) I decided to come back to the hostel after the tour. The hostel is clean, beds are comfortable, rooms are relatively quiet, the internet is fast, the atmosphere is really nice, and probably what makes the experience special is Salah, the receptionist. He is the most helpful, accommodating, friendly and warm:)
Cons: There are only three toilets and four showers, however, I never had a problem or had to wait.

The atmosphere in the hostel is excellent. The location is great, in the heart of the medina. The breakfast is filling and delicious. The common/living room area has such a nice tile work. WiFi is good and fast. The rooftop is also nice. Slept really well on a comfy and clean bed in the 6 bed spacious dorm. The lockers are big. Absolutely terrific staff-team, very kind, helpful, welcoming, hospitable and supporting. They can advise you if any questions. Salah on reception very helpful and calming vibe makes you comfortable and greets you at the door with a smile even when you arrive after midnight. Really good vibe, social feel, opportunity to book tours and day trips.
Cons: Beds in dorms are so close together that someone climbing onto one top bunk moves the neighboring beds, too. Bunks are too low to store luggage underneath, and not much space to put them anywhere out of the way. Not enough power points, no secure charging (there are small lockers for personal belongings, not big enough for luggage but no power points inside).

Great breakfast, absolutely terrific staff, wonderful room with heat pump/air con and superb roof terrace. The location was fantastic. We stayed in the yellow door private room and would book again in a heartbeat. We actually booked a more 'upmarket' riad for the last two nights of our stay in a different part of town and to be honest, we would have been better off staying in Mosaic. It's simple but has everything you need, price was so fair! We booked an airport transfer and were greeted by the receptionist who navigated us to the hostel. Unaware when purchasing some drinks, we were minorly overcharged 2 dirhams. The next time we came by reception, another receptionist stopped us, refunded us and apologised for the error. Given the minute amount their honesty really took us by surprise. Cannot praise the staff enough, they were always on hand to offer recommendations as well as advise on local facilities such as the nearest ATMs etc. Don't think about it, just book it!

The staff was sooo nice and were around all the time. Salah and Miriam always had an open ear and were super helpful. Mosaic is located in what I found to be one of the best parts of the medina with a lot of shops and attractions close by. The dorms are spacious and relatively clean and there are many power plugs. It is cosy and inviting to hang around, work and chat with others. The breakfast is good and being served on the sunny terrace what I loved, only misses some vitamins ;) All in all you get a certain value for what you pay.
Cons: There was a ninth mattress put in the dorm, so you had nine instead of eight people sleeping there. Some facilities like the bathrooms and the kitchen had seen better days and could easily be kept nicer. Throw out the old stuff nobody uses and get like fresh sponges and a new pan with a handle on it, but hey that is my subjective perception.

The common/living room area has such a nice tile work. The wifi is fast, staff are nice and hospitable, and the tours availability is great.
Cons: I think there could've been more bathrooms, (there's only 3 for the whole building), also I was not able to avail the breakfast included as they it seems to be prepared later than when I am up. Seems scary the pathway to get to the hostel at first, but actually very safe area.

if you like to be in midst of the medina then the location is pretty much perfect. beds are comfortable and a nice terrace. Best thing about the place? The reception guys Khalil and Abdul. very welcoming, easygoing and can help with organising trips
Cons: toilets could do with some upgrade/maintenance. they had broken toilet seats etc etc

The hostel is as you expect it: shared bedrooms and price-quality was correct. The reception in 24h. It's 15 minutes walking from the main square.
Cons: The phone number in Booking is false and we were calling them an no one picked up the phone. You don't get a key and the rooms are always open. We had to leave 30 minutes before the breakfast and they said we couldn't take anyting. It would have been nice to grab something. There weren't any toilets on our floor.

Good location, friendly staff, secure entrance to the building and nice rooftop to relax. The staff provides breakfast and other services including laundry for a fee. Overall, a pretty good hostel for people who look for a nice budget accomodation.
Cons: I was running short on time so booked one of the tours and it felt pretty rushed (as expected?) and too staged. It's probably best to plan a little bit in advance and take buses and grand taxis for more freedom. Or rent a car instead.

The staff was welcoming. The Wifi connection was okay, depending on the place, but apparently, each floor had a separate wifi, although the connection was working the best on the rooftop actually. The hostel is full of people that socialize and talk, it's always easy to meet new people, which might be a good thing or bad (if you are an introvert). The breakfast was okay.
Cons: It was almost always loud, cause the sound resonates from the 0 floor to the rooftop when people talk. It's pretty frustrating that the staff wasn't trying to shush people after 10:30 PM, they did it only when I asked. And when the receptionist asked the group of people to be quiet, he came next to my bed and told me that it was done (?). I think that was unnecessary since I was trying to sleep, as well as the other 7 people in the room.

The staff is very friendly and always there to help you with a smile .
Cons: Map can’t take you there, its like a maze to reach and specially if you arrive in the night and people would follow you till the property and ask for money. Also the toilets and bathrooms are on the top floor.

The staff, especially Khalid, were lovely! Great location and so easy to walk everywhere.
Cons: I booked a private room because I like to get a good nights sleep but my room was directly in front of a seating area and below the rooftop meaning that I could hear people talking and chairs scraping the whole night, plus there's an automatic light that switches on whenever anyone (or a cat) walks past and no curtains to shield. I also think towels should be included for private rooms and the breakfast should maybe start at 7am rather than 8, as most tours leave at 8 which meant even though I'd booked a rate including breakfast, I never got to eat it.

Very friendly and kind staff. They organise tours and can advise you if any questions. Nicely located, near the busy streets but at the same time calm enough to have a restful night sleep. December nights might get chilly but I didn't suffer as the provided blankets kept me warm. They have a nice rooftop that definitely is worth and needs to be climbed :))
Cons: Maybe small attention point for the bathroom facilities cleanness

So nice and helpful staff at the reception and breakfast. Beautiful terrace for breakfast, for sunrise and sunset. Good breakfast included. Inside the medina, not far from Jema el fna.
Cons: Sometimes noisy in the 4 bed room. It is next to the comunal room.

The hostel met all my expectations for the money I paid. The bed was quite comfortable, the toilets and showers were partly clean. The location is already perfect, but if your arrival will be in the late night hours, I would definitely say to get support from someone. The 8 person room was very spacious, I have no complaints about the room. Apart from these, especially the employees were very friendly, helpful and good people. I've met with Abdul and Khalil during my stay. They were very helpful with all my problems, even Khalil was very helpful on how to activate my sim card.
Cons: Shower equipment needs to be changed, toilets should definitely be maintained. Breakfast was too simple.

The staff were super friendly.and helpful. The location is easy to find with Google.maps and has lots to explore around it in the medina. I walked from the bus station and it was easy using off-line maps. The bed was comfy. Airport transfer was great. 8bed was roomy, has under bed locker ( byo lock). Beautiful mosaics and upstairs common areas.
Cons: I think i got unlucky because there were some definite undergrounds there. One dude played.english cooking shows super loudly (while others were sleeping at 9.30pm) while farting loudly.and prefusely in the bed close to me. So so gross. I stayed in the 8 bed, it super roomy, but a lucky.dip i guess. Theres only one big light tho which is hard if someone is sleeping at 8pm and you want light to pack your stuff. The door is glass and stays open and there are no curtains on the door and windows that go out to the middle so all the sensor lights from the stairs,.courtyard and kitchen shine into the room constantly and its pretty noisy. They would benefit from lights by the beds, curtains, and closing up spaces to lessen noise.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hassle-free pick-up from the airport.
Cons: The information about the Hostel clearly states that card payments are accepted. Also on my booking confirmation it says that the Hostel accepts card payments. On the spot, it turned out that the Hostel accepts ONLY cash payments. In addition, last night someone was repairing something on the terrace (I don't know if it was the staff or someone from the guests) so until 3am it was quite loud and very bright in the room because the strong lighting of the terrace was on all the time. City maps are also not available at the Hostel, so it's a good idea to get your own map in advance.

Staff were very attentive during my stay. Thank you Abdul, Khalil and Meryem. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was very good for the price. The location of the hotel was close to the main street so it was easy to find my way around a complex place like the Medina.

12 mins walking from the main square of the medina, comfortable beds, great social atmosphere, really amazing and helpful staff
Cons: not enough bathrooms for the property. only 4 in total for many 8 bed dorms, one of the showers was broken when I was there. they charge more for extra services than elsewhere in Marrakech, i.e 15DH for towel rental which is probably a 5 year old towel, 60DH for laundry (50DH everywhere else, and those dont hang your underwear on the railing outside all of the dorms)

The staff were super lovely, from Meryem, Zakaria and Khalid in the reception to the cook/cleaning lady. Location is perfect - quiet at night and close to the Medina. Lockers and charging points by the bed was 👌🏼 Great taxi pickup service that takes you right to the front door to avoid getting lost
Cons: The 4 bed female dorm I stayed in hadn't been swept for a while. It was only in the morning I noticed that but it was quite visible once I had paid attention to it. The upstairs common areas could also do with a good sweep more often. The breakfast was super basic (lots of bread), I'm sure you can find better in the Medina for around the same price. Beds were quite hard.

Overall good hostel, smaller room wit ac is better, darker and quieter to sleep, Staff is kind, terrace with breakfast is good, quiet and good location too. First night I had problem with someone snoring really bad, I knew I wouldn´t be able to sleep there and asked to change, he gave me the better room without charging that night.
Cons: We got a bit frustrated that we wanted to do only one laundry set and they divided in two and charged us for two. They asked us after half of the clothes were already washing, we could have chosen which ones before. Laundry was a bit overpriced for me. Could maybe offer activities to gather guests.

I stayed here 3 times in my 2 weeks of Morocco trip. Every time I back to Marrakesh I went there directly and I did not even check any other places. It's comfortable, in the middle of the Medina and the staff are so kind and helpful. For me, it was like home. They do many day trips, 3-4 day trips, and private tours cheaper than market price. Marrakesh is a good base for a Morocco trip and Mosaic Hostel is a perfect place to stay there and plan your trip with maximum help and minimum effort. Other guests staying here were also really nice and respectful during the quiet hours.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location inside the Medina. Clean and spacious rooms. Hot shower and clean blankets (which is not that obvious for many hostels around Morocco). WiFi works fine. Very good breakfast for the hostel standards. Would definitely stay here again.
