Il team è stato molto accogliente e Ayoub il receptionist si è sempre mostrato disponibile e pronto nel servire le nostre richieste. Il Riad è a 3 minuti a piedi dalla piazza centrale, ed è una piccola chicca silenziosa tra le vie rumorose del centro. Marrakesh, tra le sue controversie, ci ha regalato questo magnifico posto dove poter riposare!

Cons: El desayuno en la terraza con el frío de la mañana(diciembre) , no era el más acogedor. La calefacción no funcionaba en la hab. Y las ventanas de madera hace que el frío de la noche traspase. Nos tuvieron que dejar un calefactor (el único tenía el personal). El baño sin cortina en ducha. Bastante cutre para el precio 25€/p.p., para ser Marruecos.

El desayuno no pude disfrutarlo correctamente por el horario. Así es que me prepararon una cajita con un msemen, un quesito, un pedazo de bizcocho y un huevo cocido. Lo mejor la ubicación, a 1 minuto andando de la plaza jemma. El desayuno también está muy bien y muy completo.

Cons: Por poner un pero pasamos algo de frío, tiene aparato de aire acondicionado que puedes regularlo para que salga aire caliente pero no es lo mismo que tener radiadores ya que el calor no se mantiene. Pero nos dejaron una manta extra. Y bien.

Cons: sono stato in inverno gli ambienti comuni non erano riscaldati c'era un freddo da impazzire, la mia stanza non aveva riscaldamento nè aria condizionata, è vero che c'era scritto nella prenotazione ma uno lo da per scontato che in inverno la stanza sia riscaldata. Per fortuna il proprietario è stato gentile e mi ha rimediato un termoventilatore portatile per poter scaldare la camera altrimenti non so come avrei fatto. La pulizia non era un granchè.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Riad Hayat hotel. Centrally located, it took just a few minutes on foot from the point where the cab dropped me off at the Square Mellah. The lovely breakfast is served on the terrace and all the ppl were extremely kind and nice. Given my late check-in after 8:00 pm, they had informed me already beforehand that I had to pay 5 euros and it was all good. I would more def stay there again!

La posizione della struttura è strategica, si trova vicinissima alla piazza principale ma lontana dal caos. Il Riad è molto intimo e gode di una graziosa terrazza su cui passare bei momenti. Buonissima la colazione che viene servita ogni mattina sul terrazzo. Lo staff è stato premuroso e gentilissimo ed ha risolto ogni nostra problematica di carattere organizzativo, dai transfer all’aeroporto ai bagagli dimenticati.

Cons: L’unica problematica riscontrata è stato il poco isolamento acustico delle stanze ma la sera ci si muoveva con le dovute cautele e non siamo mai stati svegliati dai rumori

Perfect location near the central square Djemaa el-Fna (literally 2 minutes on foot) in a peaceful and quiet street. Not far from the Aerobus stop, a lot of local eateries in the surroundings.THe room wasn´t very big, but practically arranged, no A/C, but a fan provided. The only problem I had - there was no window so I could not get any fresh air. Tasty breakfast on the roof terrace, nice and helpful staff.

Cons: Breakfast is served quite late (8:30), so you have to miss it if you book trips to the surrounding areas as these usually start between 8:30 and 9.00 a.m.

Cons: Nous avons séjourné au Riad Hayat de Marrakech au mois de novembre. Malheureusement, notre expérience a été mitigée. La chambre était très mal isolée : nous avons eu très froid pendant les nuits, et l’insonorisation était insuffisante, ce qui faisait que nous entendions chaque bruit. La salle de bain était très précaire (pommeau de douche cassé, pas de rideau, chasse d’eau défectueuse), ce qui a rendu le séjour moins confortable. Le petit déjeuner était bon, mais pas assez copieux, et lorsque nous avons demandé un second verre de jus d’orange, celui-ci nous a été refusé, ce que nous avons trouvé dommage.

Cons: Las habitaciones tienen paredes muy finas, por lo que se escucha todo, tanto de las habitaciones contiguas como del pasillo. Aun así, no nos molestó demasiado, ya que solo fuimos a dormir y estábamos bien cansados después de todas las actividades que se pueden hacer durante el día.

Struttura situazione letteralmente dietro la piazza principale di Marrakech. Le attrazioni più importanti sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi in circa 15/20 minuti (solo per i giardini majorelle abbiamo utilizzato il taxi che passano a tutte le ore nella piazza principale). Camera non troppo grande ma pulita,cambio di asciugamani ogni giorno (abbiamo alloggiato lì per una settimana intera),pulizie ogni giorno. Colazione nel rooftop semplice ma buona,prevedeva sia dolce che salato. Il personale,soprattutto Ayoub e Mohammed,gentili disponibili e sorridenti hanno aggiunto una piacevole nota al soggiorno. Possono provvedere nel prenotare esperienze (musei,palazzi,hammam,escursioni) ma anche taxi. Hanno anche provveduto nell’ aiutarci nello stampare le nostre carte d’imbarco perche all’aeroporto di Marrakech non accettano quelle digitali. Riad ultra consigliato,la notte è tranquillo e silenzioso,il giorno si puó essere in pochi passi nel centro della Medina. Grazie mille a presto!

Avrei preferito che cucinassero qualcosa al momento o variassero- La posizione è ottima: in una via tranquilla, ad un centinaio di metri dalla piazza,con ristorantini e negozi aperti fino a tardi, per cui si poteva uscire tranquillamente anche di sera. Estuve con mi pareja 1 seman y la estancia ha sido genial un 20/10. El Riad es muy bonito con decoración muy autóctona y bien cuidado. Personal 5*: Ayoub y Mohammed súper atentos en todo momento, siempre disponibles para cualquier consulta o ayuda. Además siempre había té y pastas en la entrada y nos guardaron el equipaje mientras paseábamos el último día. El check-in y el check-out genial, nos permitieron entrar sin problema llegando nuestro avión a media noche. Ubicación 5*: El Riad al lado de la plaza principal, pero sin escucharse nada de ruido. En una zona muy segura, en un pequeño callejón (pocos metros) saliendo de una calle muy transitada. Desayuno 5*: El desayuno abundante, con café, zumo, huevos, dulce, pan, crepes, mermelada, mantequilla de cacahuete, etc. Y aunque la base es siempre la misma, suelen variar algo todos los días, como por ejemplo el tipo de dulce. Los días que tuvimos excursión, nos prepararon un box para desayunar, con huevos cocidos, dulces y una especie de pan marroquí untado. Fue un detalle, saliéramos a la hora que saliéramos. Limpieza 5*: Las habitaciones y el Riad en general limpio, limpiaban todos los días las habitaciones y siempre tenían los pétalos de rosa de la fuente frescos.

Cons: Respecto al sonido en las habitaciones inferiores, algo hay pero no hay tanta gente en el Riad como para que haya un flujo que moleste realmente. Además, mientras yo he estado la gente era cautelosa dependiendo de la hora, así que hemos dormido sin problemas. Quizás se escucha más durante el día, por los check-in, pero nosotros estábamos fuera haciendo turismo hasta la noche.

The receptionist/host was extremely kind. I had to leave very early in the morning at the checkout day; although breakfast was not opened yet he was so kind to prepare a breakfast box left near the room door so that I could eat before leaving. Staff was very approachable and helpful. Location is great since very near to the main square and the riad is very characteristic.

Siamo stati al Riad Hayat per 5 giorni, è andato tutto benissimo. Abbiamo usufruito del transfer dall’aeroporto al Riad e viceversa, super puntuali. La struttura accogliente e pulita, la camera veniva pulita tutti i giorni e venivano cambiati gli asciugamani. Non era presente il phon e con un semplice messaggio a Mohamed ne abbiamo potuto usufruire subito! La posizione era perfetta perché ci siamo potuti spostare a piedi ovunque. Nos alojamos mi hermana y yo, y lo más destacable del alojamiento es la atención, Mohamed y Ayoud son personas muy serviciales, atentos para que tu estancia sea perfecta. Te ayudan en todo lo que necesites. Desayuno delicioso y muy completo. Limpieza impecable, todos los días nos cambiaban las toallas y hacían la cama. Y por último y no menos importante, la ubicación de 10, en pleno corazón de Marrakech y mucha tranquila para descansar, no notarás el bullicio de la cuidad a pesar de estar tan cerca de su plaza principal Jemaa el -Fna. No te has ido de su Riad y ya te gustaría volver y repetir la experiencia. Repetiría !!!

A lovely hotel very near the big square. The staff is as capable and friendly as could be and the place is spotless. Really. On top, you get a good breakfast: Tea or coffee, orange juice, pancakes, croissant, bread, butter, jams, honey and an omelette....what more could you want?!? We found it very quiet, too. But that, of course, depends to a large extent on the other guests. We were lucky. I have stayed in two other hotels in Marrakech before, which were both good, but this one beats the others. A full recommendation. Personal note to Mohamed, if you read this: Thanks a lot for the friendly treatment and I really hope we get to stay at the Hayat again. Inshallah. 🙏

Very good located in Marrakesh. (Some days later, I stayed close to the Madrasa Ben Yussuf too, but this area around Riad Hayat was better.) I liked the breakfast on the roof terrace. The bed was comfortable. The transfer from the airport organised by the riad was great. I am grateful that the driver waited for me for more than one hour. I have already travelled o lot, but I can tell that the receptionist is one of the best I have ever met.

Room I got was quite small with a twin bed & a private bathroom, which is meant for a 5 yr old. You cannot stretch, raise your head or arms bcoz you'll hit something. The shower has no stall, it's recessed pit about 1.5 inch deep and 20 inch square, all the water sprays out and makes bathroom slippery. At the most you can wash your junk there. Location wise it's good coz it's close to Medina but the manager is very helpful in making you comfortable

We arranged for a taxi to take us to the Riad and it was perfect . We were met from the taxi and given a quick location chat. The staff were brilliant as very friendly and always available. It was great we had contact always through WhatsApp . The room was not luxurious but we knew it wouldn’t be . It was clean and cosy . It had all we needed. The location is perfect as only a minutes walk from the centre but that is enough to make sure it’s quiet . Breakfast was plentiful and in a lovely setting on the roof terrace. We would stay again .

The location is very near the main square and souks, but is in a very quiet locality. The staff, especially Khalid, were very polite, friendly and helpful. The accommodation was quite basic but perfectly acceptable and extremely pleasant. An excellent breakfast was served every morning on the lovely roof terrace for about 8.00 until 11.00 am. I would recommend the riad for its location and cleanliness, and excellent value for money.

A lovely riad in a great position to explore the medina. The room was small and with a decent sized bathroom! The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets nice and clean. Lovely hot water in the shower! A nice Morocco breakfast with a mixture of eggs, pancakes and pastries and plenty of coffee. The guys at the riad were very helpful and very friendly. We stayed two nights and the price was great.

WiFi was working well, breakfast was delicious and abundant! The riad is tiny and lovely and very close to jamâa el Fna square.

Cons: We did not notice while booking that our room was without aircon and so we asked for a fan. Just as advice: maybe all rooms should be equipped with Aircon in future but as said Ajoub looked for a solution!

What a stay! Marrakesh is worth the experience alone, but this riad made it really special for me and my wife. It’s a little riad, placed close to the marketplace, 5 minutes walk from the drop-off. Very clean rooms. Big enough for two with a lot of luggage. We really enjoyed having breakfast on the terrasse. Khalid and Akub took very good care of us! We gained a lot of knowledge about the culture in Marrakesh and Maroc itself. Thank you for the great recommendations all around the city and for all the time we talked about life. I traveled to Marrakech on short notice to attend the wedding of a former college friend who originally comes from Morocco and now lives in Germany. About the hotel: The Riyad Hayad Hotel is very centrally located in Marrakech, just a short walk from Djemaa el Fna. The hotel is very affordable, so one cannot expect everything to be furnished with high-end furniture. From my perspective, it is intended as a place to sleep, and it fulfills this purpose perfectly. WiFi is also available, and a small breakfast is included. My experience: I booked for just one night and had to check out by 12:00 noon. My plan was to go to my friend's wedding afterward. Unexpectedly, my former college friend did not respond to my message at 8:00 AM in a timely manner. He only replied at 7:00 PM, leaving me lost in Marrakech between 12:00 and 7:00 PM. Thanks to the hotel staff, Khalid and Ayoub, I was allowed to leave my belongings in the reception area and use the hotel's toilets and WiFi in between my walks outside. That day, I was very emotional, and the two receptionists were there for me and listened to me. Because of their kindness and support, this hotel definitely deserves 5 stars. It’s a riad so you fell the different vibe and it’s very good. The breakfast was really good but they don’t have variety so if you stay for many days keep that in mind.

Very cheap furniture for instance - makeshift wooden box beds with very sharp corners in small space. Terrace lacks detail - with such beautiful materials and cushions in Marocco and compared to other terraces this terrace looked run down and not well looked after. Dead plants !! I have travelled to Morocco 5 times and know that Riads are digferent to hotels but if you charge the dame amount of money at least make your Riad colourful and well kept

Loved this little riad in Marrakesh. It was in a great location - walking distance from most of the sights tourists would want to see. The room was really cosy, had air con, and a daily cleaning service. Breakfast up on the terasse was such a lovely start to each day, and we got to see the cat and her kittens play. The staff was very friendly, easy going, and welcoming and helped us with navigating Marrakesh and getting to the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

The accommodation is superbly located, right in the heart of everything, with great bars nearby. Despite being in the midst of it all, the Riad is quiet and not noisy. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We were short on Dirhams for the taxi ride to the airport, which the staff covered for us. The rooms are indeed quite small, but considering the value for money, they are perfectly adequate.

The guys that work here are excellent! Super friendly and really responsive in answering any questions we had. Breakfast was also plentiful. Bread, honey, cheese, eggs, jam and peanut butter. Room was clean and the riad is spacious. When we needed random things like a cup, the guys were really sweet in providing these things for us. They were also so so helpful answering any questions we had including public transport to our next destination etc. They whatsapped me the day of my arrival to know when I was coming and helped answer questions about how to get there. The location is super super central because you're seconds away from the square so you can't complain :)

Cons: Walls are thin so expect to hear noises in the night. We were tired every night so it didn't prevent us from a sound sleep but it's still easy to hear everything. The keys didn't lock except after tugging and yanking the room keys but it didn't really bother me much. I tried to do a zoom video meeting through their wifi and intermittently it dropped a lot. That said, for general Internet needs, it was perfect, just couldn't handle a really heavy video meeting.

The exceptional staff made our early checkout seamless, going above and beyond by preparing a delicious breakfast and packing some delightful food to take along, even escorting us to our car. Cons: The walls & doors of the room could be made of paper. You hear everything, literally every single word spoken in the property. I could tell which episode of breaking bad the host was watching during the night, I could follow every single conversation in the lobby. As if people where talking right in front of my bed. This caused a sleepless night and turned my mood from positive to really angry thus negative.

Beautiful property,clean,beautiful and calm. located in the heart of the medina. helpful staff, filling breakfast. The staff really went out of their way to help us they were kindly nice. specially when they surprise our little son with a beautiful gift in his birthday. I recommend this riad it was excellent

What a beautiful Riad, with very welcoming & friendly staff : Khalid and Amine💙 was so nice at everything, right in the heart of the Medina. Excellent location, a tranquil,calm and relaxing oasis amongst the excitement of Marrakesh.

The Riad is absolutely fabulous,clean,calm and well located just two minutes from the main square The men khalid in the reception was so nice and very helpful with anything The breakfast was excellent with enough of everything. The room was clean with clima and private bathroom. It was excellent

They have only a few rooms, but they let you book even they are already full. We arrived at 10pm, all the rooms were full. The guy at the reception told us it's not his problem. We managed to find another location and get our money back from Booking.com, but we pay 2 times the fees and 100 euro in phone charges. So we lost a lot of money. On Booking.com they did not let us let a review because we did not stayed there, which is not fair. The place is still on Booking.com and people still can get fooled. There was another couple în the same situation when we arrived there. This means this is common practice for them. There are a lot of nice places in Marrakech, this is one of the worst.

We have booked 2 double rooms with private bathrooms at riad Hayat with one month before we travelled to Morroco but when we have arrived at the riad, late in the night, they told us that the riad is full so they cam accommodate us in a hostel with shared bathrooms. In the lobby of the riad there was another couple having the same problem, arguing with the boy from the reception because the Owner did not picked up the phone. We have managed to solve our problem because we have called booking.com and they refunded our money and offered us to stay in another hotel. I cannot understand why they are still accepted on the booking web pages since i have read a lot of reviews similar to this one. The Owner is trying to fool the people using the photos of the actual riad and then bring them to a hostel where the shared bathrooms are very dirty and smelly. It was the worst experience ever, especially that we arrived in the middle of the night. The phone calls also cost us almost 100 eur because calling from Morroco and using an European network is not cheap. The Owner is also counting on the fact that people who is coming like that will accept the rooms on the hostel without doing anything else.

the biggest virtue of the hotel is its location - very close to Jama el-Fna. Nice and clean room. Price rather good, but there was no towels, no toilet paper, no soap... small but important things. The cleaning lady turned us out of the room before the appointed time check out.

Pros: 90 second walk to the market open area. Cons: about everything else. Rather spartan- no towel, soap, breakfast, etc. Your goal is to check out the city anyways, so if you are a single traveler needing a place to stash your stuff and crash for a night for cheap, this place works. I read a lot about noise being close to Djema el Fna. I didn't find it a issue. The square seemed to shut down around 11 p.m. (on the weekend) and since you are tucked away down an alley, it's dead quiet even though you are only 100 meters or so away as the crow flies. Conversation at 9:00 can be easily heard. My first night I was kept awake around 1:00 a.m. by mournful wailing and another person trying to console, and again around 4:00 a.m. as someone successfully busted down the door. At 7 they were fixing the door; by 9 you would have never known. I considered this the odd domestic dispute that could happen in any neighborhood at any time. So for ambient market noise preventing sleep- I didn't notice any. As an aside, do have fun with your "guides." As you stroll the streets someone who "works in the area" will tell you about the place. But he's not a guide. They have a wonderful knack of always staying exactly 20 feet in front of you. Even when you stop, they stop and talk to a friend, check their cell phone, etc. When you ditch him you run into him again 20 minutes later. Now he's visiting his mother who "lives in the area." You ditch him again, cat and mouse, and 20 minutes after that, there he is! "I was buying something from this merchant as I always do. So glad to see you again." At one point my "guide" was chastised by the other people for being a guide and harassing me. I was thankfully rescued by a local- who, of course, turned out to be just another guide in that jurisdiction. LOL.
