il soggiorno nei Riad del Marocco suscita sempre grandi emozioni, atmosfera e pace in dimore uniche per il riposo della mente. La colazione sufficiente, poco varia, anche se di ottima qualità, in 5 giorni ci hanno proposto sempre le stesse cose, magari variare un pochino sarebbe stato gradito. Sono stati carinissimi nel giorno del mio compleanno farmi trovare uno stupendo mazzo di fiori in camera, GRAZIEEE infinite.
Cons: conoscendo i disagi di raggiungere i Riad in Medina, avevamo richiesto il pick up in aereoporto, oltretutto il nostro aereo arrivava in tarda serata, ma alle 1 di notte non abbiamo trovato l'autista ad attenderci e ci siamo dovuti organizzare in autonomia prendendo un taxi.

Siamo stati accolti benissimo da Youssef, sempre gentile e disponibile. Il Riad si trova in una zona centralissima della Medina, a due passi dalla Madrassa e dai souk della città. Nonostante la posizione centrale, il luogo è molto silenzioso e tranquillo. La struttura è completamente ristrutturata, pulita e con servizio di pulizia della camera ogni giorno. La colazione viene preparata al momento e, nei giorni in cui avevamo bisogno di uscire più presto, su richiesta Youssef ci ha preparato una sacchetta con i prodotti della colazione che non richiedono preparazione immediata, come acqua e yogurt. Un soggiorno davvero piacevole super consigliato!
Cons: Se devo proprio trovare un dettaglio, direi l’orario della colazione sarebbe comodo iniziare un po’ prima, verso le 7:30, per chi parte presto per le escursioni. Ma davvero nulla di rilevante.

Cons: Les matelas sont tellement vieux qu’ils sont creux au milieu. Décoration pas terrible pour un Riad en plein Marrakech et dans un pays où l’artisanat a sa réputation. Petit déjeuner assez pauvre. Nous étions dans la chambre Alessia et malheureusement pour nous, nous étions réveillé tôt le matin par les chaises du petit déjeuner (des patins sous les chaises ne coutent pas cher). La chambre n’était pas très propre, les draps taché et le Siphon du lavabo noir de salissures. Après en avoir fait la réflexion au responsable des lieux, il a été correctement nettoyé. Vraiment déçue de ce lieu qui a un grand potentiel tant sur la décoration que le service. Dommage !

We loved Riad Elizabeth. Youssef, Amina and Fatima Zahra took exceptional care of us during our stay. The Road is located at the heart of the medina but is a short walk from the souks, Madrasa Ben Youssef and Jemaa el-Fnaa. Gueliz is also quite close. The Riad is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The pool and terrace make it perfect for relaxing away from the business of the medina. Breakfast was delicious and the whole building is lovely and clean.

Abbiamo soggiornato 5 notti in famiglia per esplorare Marrakech e dintorni. Ci siamo trovato benissimo. Camere pulite e personale super accogliente e professionale. Youssef è fantastico e ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. Ogni mattina ci ha preparato delle colazioni marocchine gustosissime ed è sempre stato a disposizione per ogni nostra esigenza, in una maniera che in altre strutture ho visto raramente. Ritorneremo sicuramente ☺️

E' stato piacevole soggiornare qui. La camera che avevamo scelto era "Olivia" ed oltre ad essere molto carina era anche confortevole. La presenza dell'area condizionata in stanza è stata d'avvero fondamentale. La colazione sempre abbondante. Il personale sempre disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza, all'inizio del soggiorno vi metterà a vostra disposizione la piantina della città indicandovi i luoghi/ristoranti dove consigliano di andare.
Cons: Se devo trovare un difetto... essendo in un'ottima posizione della medina, la sera possono esserci i bambini che giocano nei vicoli sotti per cui consiglio di portare i tappi se avete il sonno leggero.

Yousef was the most polite, humble, helpful, and wonderful person I have had the pleasure to meet. He made my stay very pleasant and couldn't do enough to make sure I was happy. He gave a warm welcome with tea, a map of the area (which was helpful) and helped me to my room and made sure I was happy before settling in. The Riad was great for couples and solo travellers as it was quiet and only 15-20 minutes walk from the main square. Along the way, there is a LOT to see! I was able to come and go as I please with my own key for the building and my room. It had a nice feel to it and was comfortable with some of the features you would expect in a budget hotel. It was cleaned every day and well kept. The breakfast each day was lovely, and it was great to have a dip in the pool after a long, hot day!
Cons: The riad is not accessible by vehicles. You can get to within a 5 minute walk of it, but that's as close as you can, due it it being in the Medina. (This is the same for MANY of the riads, though, due to their central locations and is not a bad reflection on the hotel).

Yousif is the kindest soul. He helped us book a taxi from and to the airport. He helped us with luggage when we arrived and when we left. He greeted us with mint tea and gave us a map to help us navigate the madina. He also cooks delicious breakfasts upstairs on the rooftop and he's very patient he staeyd after 10am to serve us the first day as we didn't know till what time. The location is great and everything about the place is lovely with a swimming pool that daughter loved dipping her feet inside. The price is also reasonable compared to other Riads. Special thanks to the cleaning ladies also they cleaned the room perfectly when we left everyday. If we ever come back to Marrakech, and we will, this is the only place I'd stay. Yousif, shukran brother for your hospitality.

I had a wonderful memorable experience staying at this Riad. Upon arrival we were greeted by Youssef, he is such a gentleman. We got our Moroccan tea and the check-in process was seamless. He escorted to our beautiful room that equipped with everything you need. What i love the most about the place is the rooftop. I woke up every morning for my meditation and journaling session, and it has always been the most peaceful moment in my life. Rooftop is so unique and even in the night, we like to chill there. Youssef is really a person that will take care of your stay, he is so kind and smiley and you will instantly welcomed by his presence. Breakfast was also always amazing, with their Moroccan options. Actually, i re-booked this place on my last days in Morocco, because i wouldn’t choose any other place. Thank you Riad Elizabeth and Youssef.
Cons: The road in medina is a labyrinth so expect a little confusion while reaching this place. I wouldn’t recommend carrying big luggage, i was struggling lol.

Youssef is one of the most helpful human beings you will ever find. He goes above and beyond to be of any help. I was even pressured by some of the locals to give money and he offered to give it back from his own money. Place is very classic and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The pricing is good. The breakfast was nice. Youssef really pour his heart into it. Beautiful!
Cons: It was my first time in Marrakesh, if you like going out for walks at night the old medina isn’t ideal. A lot of locals try to scam you of money. However, it’s not the riad it’s just how the city is. But all in all just do your research. However as a riad this was great!

It was calm and clean, Youssef was helpful and the cleaning lady was quite thorough. Overall our stay was very nice.
Cons: The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, however the common areas (eg the terrace) were less well taken care of. The breakfast was good but there was no option to eat for dinner or other meals (maybe I missunderstood the description). Finally, there was almost always noise from the street, but I guess this is unavoidable if you stay in the Medina area. Overall the issues that the staff could handle were always handled well, none of these is a dealbreaker and I would happily visit again.

Cons: Properties within the Medina, are often difficult to access for taxis, and require visitors walking to a suitable pick up point. This is not ideal, but is a fact of life in the Medina.

We wanted to stay in somewhere with a touch of luxury and a bath to ease muscle aches after climbing mount Toubkai, and this Riad appeared to provide this. The place was decorated beautifully and the room spacious. I bathed in the pool and the water was cold,clean and the pool area beautiful. The terrace where we ate was pleasant and the breakfast small but tasty
Cons: We had great difficulty finding the Riad and it was not known by taxi drivers. It took us 2 hours the next day to find our way back to the riad from the souks. There were small things that were slightly irritating in the room; the door handle kept falling off, the AC control batteries were dead (put my own in and it worked well), plug for bath/sink did not seal plug hole. Now, the plug became somewhat irrelevant as we awoke to find no water in the room. During the day we discovered that the mains water pipe feeding Marrakesh had broken, so no water to the town. Youseff, the manager gave a simple sorry no water at breakfast and no other explanation. We requested to speak with Youseff during the day and he did respond saying that the pipe had broken but did not seek us out. We needed to find him and ask that he discuss with us. My concerns expressed to him were 1. Why had he not informed us properly in the morning as to what had happened and when we could expect water again ? 2. Did he not consider leaving bottles of water for guests to drink or bathe with ? 3. Did he not consider boiling bottled water and placing in a bowl for guests ? Youseff responses: 1. It is not my fault or problem that there is no water 2. We should know that this happens often in Marrakesh 3. Other guests who have paid more than us have not complained. 4. He is fasting and tired and finding the talk we were having too stressful 5. He is fasting so it is not a problem to him not to have any water We explained that we accept it is not his fault but as a manager in a service industry we consider it is his problem to sort. I pointed out that if we had gone to a restaurant and the gas supply had been cut off and no hot food served, we would not be happy and would expect a refund as the service promised had not been provided. We were not satisfied with Youseffs attitude to the problems and found his responses inappropriate and inadequate. I have brought to the attention of Booking.

The riad is in a good central location and close to the main sites of interest and jeema el-fna square. The accommodation is spacious, quiet and peaceful, it also has an upper terrace where you can enjoy the good weather and relax, the rooms are clean and spacious. The host, Youssef, welcomed us in an unbeatable way, the treatment was wonderful, always with a smile and very friendly, he was always attentive and helped us with everything we needed. I would come back without any doubt and 100% recommendable.

I like how staff are nice. Specially yousef, I had a bad cough whilst staying over Marrakesh due to allergic reactions,yousef made me a nice honey and lemon tea to help ease my cough. They are very hospitable and often take good care of us specially during breakfast and with our laundry. They even provided extra bed for my son upon request.

Organised taxis, provided great advice & recommendations on local attractions & restaurants. We loved his breakfast every morning, delicious & varied. The moment you stepped into the heavy front door, you know this riad is a different kind of hotel. It's a strange oasis in the middle of hot & bustling streets in the medina. With the weirdly calm and cool pool in the middle of summer, the quiet chirps of birds in the morning, the simple elegant decor with 1920s movie posters and movie stars -- you wouldn't feel like you're staying in Marrakesh. The manager was very helpful and nice, and answered our questions related to directions, etc. When we were there, it's quiet and there weren't many other guests so it's extremely quiet. We had such a relaxing stay after the crazy Marrakesh street scene!
Cons: We happened to stay in a different hotel in Marrakesh the night before, so we're already parked quite a distance away south of Jemaa al Fna, so we needed to walk about 10-15 mins away through the medina to reach this riad. The manager informed us that there's a street parking but it's unmonitored, so that's the reason we left our car where we park instead (which was monitored for 3 euros per night).

Absolutely lovely riad!! Youssef was truly amazing to us, he was always happy to help when we needed and made a fantastic breakfast each morning. Could not recommend this riad enough.
Cons: I would ask for a bigger bin in the bedroom as you only get a small one in the bathroom and the wifi could be better but this is me being picky, our stay was 10/10

Cons: The water in the shower took long to disappear in the sink. Kids that lead us the way to the Riyad wanted money and the taxi driver back to the airport wsnted more money then agreed on with the Riyad staff.

We liked the hospitality of the staff, roof terrace and the location of Riad.
Cons: First of all, the hotel offered a transfer (20Eur) because not all taxi can enter the Medina area and we took the offer. Unfortunately, no one met us when we arrived at the airport. We spent about an hour trying to find out what happened. I spent 23Eur for unplanned calls. :( The truth is, they didn't ask for money for the transfer, and an hour later a driver appeared in a suit and a well-kept car, who delivered us to the hotel. Unfortunately, the trouble didn't end there. After mixing up the reservations, we only got one booked room, and the second room was changed to a smaller/basic one for one night. Even though we got smaller room we had to pay the price of two nights in a better one, which did not add charm to our trip and left our friends a bit disappointed.

Location was great, so was the breakfast. Host and cleaning were amazing. The guy (host) was super helpful to us, since we didn't speak Arabic or French we had quite some questions for him. Sadly the pool inside wasn't heated, so we didn't use it. Shower in our first room was great and the bed was acceptable, but we had to switch to another room for the last two days (see negative review about that below).
Cons: We had to switch to another room for the last two days. In that room the bed was horrible and the shower head looked like it should've been replaced 10 years ago. From the 50 holes the shower head had, only out of 5 came water. It was also leaking. Isolation is also bad, so it can be very noisy. Bring ear plugs to sleep in peace! Because we only had to stay in another room for 2 out of the 8 days, I won't let it impact the overall rating. But please, give the downstairs room 'Louise' a full make-over. That room is not ready to be rented out to tourists...

It was really difficult to find the riad whilst driving our car since it's in the old medina. However, Youssef was an exceptional manager. He went and beyond to help us park park our car behind the riad. Initially, we weren't put in the room we booked. But once again, thanks to Youssef, we were able to ignore all the problems. The riad is cute, and in walking distance to all the important places.
Cons: It could be bit noisy. It's difficult to find if you are with a car.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was nice to be under Youssef’s wings for a couple of days. He made us feel very welcome in the Riad and his country. He was always available for our questions or to have a nice chat. The Riad was very clean. Extra compliments for the nice, fresh and varied breakfasts on the rooftop.
Cons: There was no ventilation in the bathroom.

The guy taking care of the property must be the most suitable person I have ever met to work with and for people, we arrived late for the check in and we were tired and hungry and he even showed us the way to a restaurant to eat!!! He always took his time to explain and help us in every possible way and he is very kind and reassuring. thanks man, you are doing a great job and we wish you all the good in this world! The property is also nice looking, combining traditional style with modern inserts in a very eye pleasing way.

Josef was the ingredient that made our stay even more pleasant, many thanks! He's super friendly and gave us all the info we needed to explore Marrakech. Our experience of the riad was overall very good and Josef was very attentive throughout our stay. Very good value for money, breakfast was awesome and the location even better.
Cons: Parking in the area is limited but there's a 24h secure parking about 10mins walk from the riad. Price per day was 5Euro as we parked our motorcycle there for two days.
