Gospodarz jest jednym z najbardziej gościnnych Marokańczyków, jakich poznaliśmy. Czuliśmy się naprawdę zaopiekowani. Riad bardzo klimatyczny i położony w spokojnej okolicy, ale blisko mediny. Pyszne, typowo marokańskie śniadania.

Le riad est calme, il a environ 10 chambres. Celle qu'on m'a donnée était spatieuse et fonctionnelle. C'était confortable. Terrasse avec beau point de vue sur la ville mais une seule table et des chaises pas trop confortables (en fer et sans coussin), pas de transat. Le petit-déjeuner (pain+2 crepes marocaines appelées nsemens+2 confitures+omelette+café+thé menthe+jus d'orange) est complet mais ça serait bien d'avoir un ou deux fruits. L'accueil est sympatique aussi bien par le gérant que par les 3 dames qui y travaillent. On voit qu'elles s'y plaisent et ça fait plaisir: très touché par le thé à la menthe qui m'a été offert à mon arrivée ou chaque fois que j'attendais au rez de chaussée. Je reviendrai surement dans ce riad (le 2ème meilleur que j'ai testé).
Cons: Deux beaux fauteuils mais pas de table pour écrire dans la chambre. La piscine ne sert pas à grand chose même si ça met une belle touche bleue dans le riad: faite attention de ne pas y tomber. Le riad situé dans la casbah est assez excentré de la médina (1/4h à pied et 25mn jusqu'à la place Djema El Efna). Sur le trajet on est frolé par les cyclomoteurs et les voitures...

El riad está bien ubicado, está en el barrio judío, muy cerca del mercado, del palacio badi, de las tumbas saadies. El personal del riad fue súper amable y muy atentos a todo lo que necesitábamos. La cena en el riad muy buena.

I loved this sweet little riad. The location is great - slightly away from the medina chaos but easily walkable; a lively neighbourhood but safe and (mostly) quiet at night. The riad itself was perfect for my budget and needs, and my room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is flexible and generous, and the staff were an absolute highlight - friendly, welcoming, approachable and hospitable, with good communication. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home and make my stay comfortable and convenient. (There was a problem with my shower on my first night and by the next day a plumber had fixed it - I was also offered the chance to move rooms.) I would definitely book this place again the next time I'm in Marrakech. Thank you for a great stay!

Unsere Erfahrung in diesem Riad war wirklich sehr positiv! Das Zimmer war sauber und die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kamen früh am Morgen an und sie haben extra auf uns gewartet um uns in der Früh die Tür zu öffnen und sogar das Frühstück später für uns zubereitet, damit wir noch in Ruhe ankommen konnten. Während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts waren sie sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, sodass man sich einfach richtig wohlgefühlt hat. Als wir schließlich sehr früh abreisen mussten (um halb fünf morgens), haben sie ein Taxi für uns organisiert, und Jamal ist sogar mit uns bis zum Taxi gegangen, um sicherzugehen, dass alles klappt. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut, und insgesamt war alles perfekt. Wir sind sehr froh, dass wir dieses Riad gebucht haben, und wenn wir wieder nach Marrakesch kommen, werden wir definitiv wieder hier übernachten!

Minha estadia neste riad foi simplesmente maravilhosa. Desde o momento da chegada, a recepção foi extremamente atenciosa, fazendo com que eu me sentisse em casa. O lugar é simples, mas transborda charme e um ambiente muito aconchegante, ideal para descansar após um dia intenso explorando a Medina. O ponto alto, sem dúvida, foi o pequeno-almoço: delicioso, fresco e preparado com muito carinho! É o refúgio perfeito para quem busca hospitalidade e uma excelente relação qualidade-preço em Marraquexe. Recomendo de olhos fechados a todos que buscam uma experiência genuína e tranquila.

The Riad is perfectly clean throughout, the most single important aspect of any stay. Property as a whole, the room, the bedding, etc... Owner and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. It is a mid size Riad, with a very pretty central courtyard with a water feature in the middle. Location is best of both worlds, Five minutes walk to the center of it all, or five minutes away from all the crowd. Very tasty and fulfilling breakfast.
Cons: You need to play around to get the right mix of temperature in the shower, and need to watch out for sudden changes in either direction. The best thing you can do for yourself is to pick up a Sim-Card right at the airport, make sure it has " HotSpot " feature and it is activated, test it before you leave the airport. I have not been to any Riad with reliable Wifi.

The manager is very nice and helpful. He made changes of breakfast based on my requirements, he ordered taxi for me and took my suitcase and walked with me to the taxi at 5:30am. He is a humble man, I enjoyed my stay in his bbeautiful raid.

Mi madre Encarnacion y su amiga María estuvieron alojadas aquí y han insistido mucho para que dejara una opinión ya que han llegado muy contentas. Quieren dar las gracias a Ezdi, Fátima y Yamal especialmente. Las excursiones a Essaouira y Zagora han sido una gran experiencia y recomiendan a futuros huéspedes que las contraten directamente con ellos. Las instalaciones y comida del riad muy satisfactorias también. Gracias por cuidar tan bien de ellas. Un abrazo

Cons: The rooms what we got was not even similar to the pictures. In my room there was no curtain so the lights from the corridor was a problem for my sleep. The water temperature could not be adjusted properly for showering, so it fluctuated between very hot and scalding hot, and the tap leaked in several places. The bed was very hard for me so I slept only two hours in the night. When we agreed the manager about the earlier leave he promised some money, but we did not get the money immediately, but we had to come back on another day so that was also waste of hours.

The Staff was simply fantastic, especially Jamal and Fatima. Our room wasn't in the part of the Riad visible on Google Maps, but the accommodation was equally nice. Furthermore, due to a problem with the booking system, we had to change room for the last night, but the owner found a good solution and Jamal took care of the movement of our stuffs. The Riad is at walking distance to the Medina, the heart of Marrakech. We opted for HB and the meals were plenty, delicious and prepared in a very local way. I do suggest this place for a visit of Marrakech.

Das Riad liegt praktisch, mit einem kleinen Spaziergang ist man schon im Trubel von Marrakesch. Das Frühstück ist super und unsere Gastgeber haben für uns auf Anfrage sogar Abendessen gemacht! Die gute Seele des Hauses ist aber Jamal. Er hat immer geholfen wo er konnte und war immer für eine kleine Untethaltung zu haben. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt!

We stayed there before going on a tour in the desert and when we came back to Marrakech we decided to stay there again. Yamal recognised us and was very happy that we decided to come back. He gave us a nicer room than the last time and offered us tea. In the next morning we were leaving early to the airport and he booked a taxi for us for only 10€ and prepared us a nice breakfast at 6am, even if the breakfast usually starts later. It was really kind of him!

The man who runs it was waiting in the alley to greet me when I first arrived late at night How nice is that?! All the staff were so helpful and caring. I’m very grateful.
Cons: It’s dark everywhere. I didn’t see any windows in the property other than the one in centre roof (which is papered up). Minimum wattage bulbs didn’t provide enough lighting. Gave me an eerie feeling.

We arrived late and were picked up from the airport, and then they walked us to where we could park. The service was fantastic; Yamal took great care of us, explained everything we wanted to know, and even made us breakfast at 6:30 because we had to leave early the next morning. They even offered us tea and biscuits one afternoon when we didn't feel like eating much dinner. The room had heating and hot water; it was small but lovely. We have to go back to Marrakech and we'll definitely stay here again, as it's close to the center, the breakfast is amazing, and the service is unbeatable. :)

Jamal war ein sehr herzlicher und freundlicher Gastgeber, er spricht sehr gutes Englisch und ist außerordentlich höflich. Ich komme gerne wieder. Das Riad ist ruhig gelegen, etwas weiter weg vom Zentrum was mir sehr gut gefallen hat. Das Zimmer ist geräumig, ebenso das Bad (wirklich heißes Wasser!), und alles sehr sauber. The property was very quiet and peaceful, and it had an elegant feel to it that was nice. The breakfast every morning was wonderful and gave us lots of energy for the whole day. Opção excelente para quem. quer sentir Marraquexe! Esávamos com dúvidas sobre se ficávamos fora ou dentro da Medina. Ficámos dentro e não nos arrependemos: o Sr. Yamal(penso que é assim que se escreve) é muito atencioso 5 estrelas; a comida (pequeno almoço e jantar) era caseira e muito saborosa; o Riad fica muito perto dos palácios Bahia e Badi, mas em 15/20 minutos estávamos na praça central.; o quarto não tem luxos, mas era espaçosos e com cama muito confortável. Ficámos 3 noites, saímos durante o dia e noite e nunca sentimos qualquer tipo de insegurança....as ruas labirínticas não assistam
Cons: Não houve nada que não tivessemos gostado... no entanto, há partes do Riad que mostram alguns desgaste, principalmente no edifício onde ficámos. É que são 2 edifícios ligados entre si: um com o tradicional tanque no pátio (muito mais bonito) e outro sem o tanque(onde ficámos!).

El desayuno nos encantó abundante y rico ,en nuestra opinión faltaría algo de fruta en el desayuno. La ubicación es perfecta porque puedes descansar del caos del centro. Está a 10 minutos de tiendas y restaurantes turísticos y a 20 minutos de la plaza principal. Tiene dos terrazas perfectas para los fumadores. La habitación es muy amplia y cómoda. Hemos estado en otro Riad más cerca del centro y recomiendo Riad Abjaou con creces. El ruido del centro no te deja dormir y son muy pequeños!!

Majitel byl velmi sympatický a svou pečlivostí a zájmem vytvářel příjemný pocit domova a bezpečí. Snídani přinášel přímo ke stolu a večer nám vždy rád zdarma připravil bezkonkurenčně nejlepší mátový čaj. Pokoj a jeho vybavení bylo velmi čisté. Stejně tak veškeré společné prostory Riadu. Krásná byla i terasa, která je po celý den přístupná a je z ní hezký a klidný výhled na město.
Cons: Drobnou nevýhodou může být nedostatek soukromí a v našem případě i proleželé matrace. Do pokoje je slyšet veškerý hluk ze společných prostor a z ulice. To nám dělalo první noc trochu problém, ale když to člověk správně pojme jako komunitní prostor, tak je to vlastně super místo.

Мы останавливались в просторном двухместном номере с большой удобной кроватью. В комнате есть шкаф, столик, диван и кондиционер, а также собственная ванная комната с душем. Несмотря на значительные перепады температуры — от +12 ночью до +32 днем — в номере всегда было комфортно. Завтрак простой, но сытный: кофе, молоко, мятный чай, сок, джем, мед, горячие лепешки, хлеб, плавленый сыр и яйца. В целом наше пребывание было очень комфортным, особенно учитывая отличное соотношение цены и качества. Отдельная огромная благодарность Джамалю! Это человек исключительной отзывчивости, который, кажется, работает 24/7, решая любые вопросы и помогая гостям в любой ситуации. Благодаря ему пребывание в риаде стало по-настоящему приятным

La ubicación en la Medina te permite ir andando al centro. En un barrio donde viven autóctonos, pero tranquilo, en ningún momento sentimos inseguridad. Nos dieron a buscar al sitio donde nos dejó el taxi, para enseñarnos el camino hasta el riad.
Cons: La habitación que nos dieron el primer día no coincidía con las fotos del hotel y le faltaba desde una luz en la mesilla, una silla o una cortina en la ventana. Nos cambiaron la segunda noche y la habitación mejoró un poco, pero el colchón de la cama era incomodísimo. El riad es muy austero, aunque con el precio que tiene no se le puede pedir mucho más.

Für mich persönlich war es eine schlimme Nacht mit wenig Schlaf, sehr hellhöriges zweckmäßig Zimmer. Jeden Toiletten gang der anderen Gäste war durch die extrem brummende Spülung nicht zu überhören. Schade, dachte durch diese überwiegend positiven Bewertungen ewas besonders gebucht zu haben. Frühstück, leider nichts besonders. Ich frage mich wie diese Bewertungen zustande kommen. Sehr wenig schlaf, leider. Und das ist für mich sehr wichtig.

We loved staying here. The place is beautiful and our host Jamal was brilliant - incredibly hospitable, welcoming and helpful. We loved the interior decor. Very clean, very well shaded and cool on the inside despite the big outside temperatures. The roof terrace was also the perfect spot to chill. The breakfasts were delicious, and the mint tea was always welcome! Thank you Jamal and Ezdi!

I had a very pleasant stay at Riad Abjaou. The location is excellent — close to the main attractions but quiet and comfortable at the same time. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated in an authentic Moroccan style. Jamal is a truly kind and attentive host, always ready to help and share useful tips about the city. We felt welcome from the very first moment. Breakfast was tasty and varied, and the overall atmosphere of the riad was calm and friendly. El Riad está súper bien ubicado, cerca del palacio El Badi. Esa plaza es chulísima. El Riad estaba limpio, aunque tengo que decir que la parte central, no sé corresponde con las fotos. Estaba muy limpio pero no era muy bonito. La habitación estaba muy bien de tamaño, al igual que el baño. Todo estaba limpio. La cama era muy cómoda. El desayuno también estuvo muy bien. Sobre todo tengo que destacar que el dueño del Riad, súper amable, preocupado en todo momento porque estuviéramos cómodos. Nos ayudó con indicaciones y el último día nos llamó a un taxi para que nos llevara al aeropuerto y nos acompañó hasta él.
Cons: Lo que menos me gustó fue la parte central del Riad, pero por poner un pero. No era nada bonita.

Nous avions besoin d’une navette pour l aéroport il nous a demandé 25€ alors que le prix usuel est de 15€ ! Le petit dej était simple nous n’avons jamais eu de fruits … dommage La salle de bain est à refaire , la douche est défaillante idem pour le lavabo Nous sommes restés 4 nuits , le linge de lit et de toilette n’a jamais été changé .

Estoy valorando el riad Anrich, pues aunque contrates el riad Abjaou a través de Booking, el propietario te alojará en el riad que a él le convenga, no en el que hayas elegido: Me gustó la piscina y la cena, que estuvo muy rica.
Cons: ¡Ten cuidado cuando elijas el riad Abjaou porque te alojarán en el riad que a la propiedad le convenga! Reservé el Abjaou completo para un grupo de 11 amigos. Nos alojaron en el riad Anrich, con una califición en Booking muy inferior a la del riad Abjaou que habíamos elegido. No nos quisieron dar el desayuno en la terraza (en el riad Anrich sí lo hacen). El grupo tuvimos que desayunar y cenar en mesas separadas, una de ellas una mesa baja sentados en sofás, en lugar de en sillas entorno a una mesa de comedor. Tenía piscina pero a la persona que cuida el Riad le molestó que nos bañáranos en ella. Le faltaba mantenimiento.

The property is less than 2 min walk from the main road. It is close to 10 min walk to the market area and a 20 min walk to Jemma el-Fenna where all the buzz is present. For any tour, they will mostly collect you from Barima Mosque which is a 4 min walk. For the price I paid, this place is exceptional. The host is super nice. The breakfast was very fulling, breads, omelette, tea, milk and coffee and a sweet parantha types bread. They are super nice and called a cab for me for my stay at another property later on. The room is enough for two people, you get a closet and attached washroom which was very clean. You have warm water in the shower as well. The air condition was working very well as well. Guys trust me if you are on a budget or looking for a place where you wanna crash, enjoy a wholesome vibe with very kind people, enjoy the old market and stay at a place which is accessible to the main road this is the perfect place.
Cons: Now let’s talk about the CONS, the WiFi strength is not so great but you can upload all your stories, talk with your friends on WhatsApp and that’s what I needed. Remember the price you paid therefore you won’t feel super relaxed in the room, hence I said this place is exceptional for the price and more so for the people who are working here.

Das Personal war extrem nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Jamal war jederzeit ansprechbar und an unserem Wohl interessiert. Die Unterkunft, vor allem der Innenhof, hatte einen ganz besonderen Charme. Die Lage war super und man konnte alle Sehenswürdigkeiten einfach per Fuß erreichen. Es gab gutes und günstiges Frühstück und auf Wunsch auch Abendessen, welches sehr zu empfehlen ist.

We were a party of 2 staying for a 2 nights to see the city. We were met by a friendly face who escorted us from the taxi to the riad (no cars can get into that section of the Medina). The breakfast was excellent, and was prepared fresh each morning. The room was comfortable and had everything you needed. The host was incredible and made our stay perfect. He gave us a detailed summary of the area when we arrived, he pointed us in the right direction for sightseeing and he looked after us throughout our stay, always checking in to see if we were ok. The host also looked after our luggage the day we were leaving whilst we did our final exploring before catching our bus in the afternoon. Couldn't fault him!

J’ai adoré mon séjour dans ce Riad. L’emplacement est idéal, à deux pas de tout et surtout de la célèbre place historique de Marrakech. Le personnel est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle, toujours accueillant et disponible, en particulier le monsieur qui s’occupe du Riad, vraiment remarquable. Non è facile iniziare ad elencare tutte le qualità di questa struttura e soprattutto del suo proprietario. I Riad sono abitazioni tradizionali Marocchine e questa struttura ci ha trasmesso proprio questo, il senso di stare a casa, in un ambiente familiare. Jamal il proprietario è disponibile e gentile, veramente una splendida persona, come se ne vedono poche. Ci ha aiutato in ogni cosa, con colazioni fuori orario, accompagnandoci ai punti di incontro dei tour o mettendoci sulla giusta strada, è stato attento ad ogni esigenza potessimo avere. Ci ha portato in una tradizionale panetteria marocchina, ha acquistato per noi dei Tajinn a prezzi modici. Ci siamo sentiti a casa dello zio Marocchino che non sapevamo di avere, un perfetto Anfitrione. La pulizia della struttura è impeccabile, la posizione permette di raggiungere la Medina e la piazza principale con una passeggiata di qualche minuto. Consigliatissimo.

Jamal, dont l'hospitalité chaleureuse et la serviabilité ont véritablement rendu mon séjour inoubliable. Son attention aux détails et sa bienveillance constante ont fait toute la différence. J'ai adoré les détails artisanaux comme le magnifique lavabo en cuivre et l'espace détente près de la piscine. L'emplacement est idéal : proche des épiceries, snacks et restaurants populaires, et à quelques pas de Jemaa el-Fna. Parfait pour découvrir la ville ! Amazing experience. The riad is really well located in the medina and close to many nice places in a traditional, quiet, and local area yet very close to the busy nice landmarks and places. The staff was amazing. Very helpful and friendly. Especially Jamal ! He’s amazing, kind, genuine and very professional and polite. He let me leave my luggage when I went to an excursion in another city for a day. Every guest say that he’s amazing. I’m not the only one. The breakfast was good and generous. Room are nice clean and cosy with AC.

Cons: It was booked 6 months earlier, the day before the trip the manager called and texted us that there is a problem with the room, our riad will be changed to an other of his riads next to the original and offered free airport transfer and breakfast. The new riad was outside of the center, 15 min from the original and 30+min from Djema el Fnaa. The new room was 16m2 small, the original deluxe, 35m2. I felt unhappy and made complaint the manager did not understand my problem but gave back 40eur. Bathroom not working, poor lighting, boting breakfast (no fruit and olive) but friendly staff (Amira).

Perfect riad. The staff were wonderful, they made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful with everything. The location was great - it's a 15-20 minute walk to the main square but I liked staying in a less touristy area. Decor simple but very nice. Breakfast was delicious. I hope to return one day.

Im giving 7/10 because at 4am someone was bamging on the front door and noone answered and the banging continued for at least half an hour. And then there was more bangs and knocks at other places in the riad, then a kid woke up because of all the noise and started crying. And the bangs and knocks continued... It is the responsibility of the owners and staff to make sure the night is quiet so we can sleep. Why didn't someone answer the door? Why allow such loud noise to continue for well over an hour without stopong it? I was exhausted the next day from lack of sleep.

Cons: No hot water the first day. Other guests suggested us to try around afternoon because hot water probably comes from a solar tank. It worked. So make sure to take your shower not later than 6PM or you will have only cold water. The host suggested another room in case it won't work, but we didn't try.

The location was perfect as it allowed you to reach al the major sites in Marrakech within 30 minutes by foot. What truly made our stay extra special was the reception and care of Mr. Jamal and Abdel. They helped us with anything, welcomed us with tea to make us truly feel at home and the home made typical breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend Riad Abjaou to any Traveller and I will surely stay here as well my next time in Marrakech!

This is the best Riad ever. The location is great, 2minutes from the shop, and 5 minutes to the main square. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Breakfast is really delicious. But the best thing is hosts. This is riad is nice combo between a hostel and a hotel. Jamal is very considerate and will do everything to help you with anything. He will pick you up from your taxi, carry your luggage, show you city maps, serve you tea, breakfast, take you to the spa .. and he even helped us to Exchange Euros to Dirham as we left so we could pay the taxi. Thank you so much Jamal.⭐️🙏🏻 First morning you will be welcomed by the owner at breakfast. He and Jamal can help you book the Hammam for 2 at a very god price at a very nice spa. I loved the people. The owner and the assistant are super nice, welcoming, warm and attentive. Very hospitalary. The reception with the pool where breakfast is is also nice.
Cons: I didn't like the poor lighting in the room. The toilet wasn't the best conditions. But specially breakfast it could be much better. Other riads near the area offer natural orange juice, not boxed, and offer a variety of fruits other than oranges daily and banana the last few days. The wifi didn't make it to the room so I had to use my phone downstairs in reception or spend all my data in bed.

The riad's location was ideal; it was not too far from the city centre, just a ten-minute walk from Badia Palace and a short distance away from everything else. The staff at the riad were exceptional and accommodated every request I had. They arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the airport, which was a lifesaver. They also helped me buy a SIM card and provided me with all the relevant information and a map to ensure a stress-free stay. I was travelling with my 4-year-old toddler, who is a fussy eater. However, the hotel staff took care of her food preferences and even prepared chips and croissants for her. They also encouraged her to try Moroccan food. In addition, they organised a delightful half-day trip to the desert with camels and quads that included a fantastic dinner in the desert. Everything was perfect. We had half-board, and the food was excellent and well-prepared.

The riad was very clean. The staff were very helpful and as mentioned in many of the reviews, Jamal was very hospitable as well as Fatima. The owner help Mohammed resolved an issue that with the room in a nice manner. The riad also offered a private taxi from the airport at a cost of €12, with jamal waiting on the main road who led us to the Riad. Breakfast was prepared at our requested times which was kind as we had some early ones and some late ones also. Distance from Jamee al Fana was around 15mins walk. There are bakeries, barbers and a few corner shops that had all that we needed in terms of munchies.
Cons: AC worked but the remote was temperamental. The shower could do with a curtain as the water would accumulate as a puddle in the bathroom.

Our stay at Riad Abjaou was great. We met the lovely owner briefly but Jamal looked after us really well for the whole length of our stay. He was really polite, kind and helpful - always ready to assist and offer you free tea :) The room we stayed in was quite clean and basic. Jamal even gave our 9 years old an extra bed at no additional cost. The breakfast was fresh and lovely with three different kinds of breads, dips, juice, coffee, tea and delicious eggs. It was quite cheap too. We also booked the airport transfer which was quite efficient and fairly priced. The owner and Jamal offered us free and early breakfast on our day of travel. I will always remember their hospitality. Amenities wise, don’t expect luxuries as it was a clean basic place for us to sleep. Bring your own toiletries or better buy them cheaply from the little corner shop couple of minutes away from Riad. Iron and hairdryer was free to borrow from reception. If I ever come back to Marrakech, I’d definitely stay at Riad Abjaou again. The location is perfect, slightly tucked away from the craziness of medina but still super close to places like Bahia Palace, Badi Palace, Jewish cemetery and Sadian tombs. Thank you Jamal and your team for great hospitality.

After visiting many hotels in my life, I never felt as welcomed as in this hotel. The service could not be better. We were constantly provided by anything we needed. The Riad itself is also looking as shown in the photos and has a very nice hall. The location is also very good, especially for tourist, who want to reach the Medina and Market Place within 10-15 min of walking.
Cons: As in any Riad, guest should be prepared for very thin doors and walls. Though this is probably the case in any Riad, as the buildings around the Medina in Marrakech are old, but also authentic and a nice experience for everybody, who enjoys Marocain culture.

Great welcome, our host Jamal was super friendly, very helpful, made our stay lovely. Room and bed very comfy and cleanless was on highest level. Amazing riad and amazing Staff. Beutiful terrace, where you can enjoy morrocan tea after busy day. Really good breakfast. Thank you for making our trip to Marrakesh even more fantastic.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at the Riad! The place was impeccably clean and had a really nice atmosphere. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. He made an amazing breakfast for us at 6:30 in the morning (as we had to leave early). He even walked us to the taxi to make sure we were safe. We appreciate the hospitality and highly recommand!

We had r days stay with my boyfriend, and we were very happy here. Position of hotel is perfect as is very close to medina. All you have near. But frankly, the stuff of the hotel is really nice. Everybody. You feel very welcome in the Riad. Jamal- the man which is taking care of everything is an amazing person, he will do everything to make u feel good. ( and he do the best tea) ☺️ Thanks to all, if we come back to Marakesh we will defo stay here

Staff in this riad is absolutely exceptional, Jamal couldn't do enough for us! From welcoming us at 2AM, showing us where to get a great value sim card and to serving us breakfastat crack of dawn due to our early tour start. Absolute gentleman, he wanted to make sure we have a pleasant stay, and we sure did. Shukran Jamal! It's worth a mention; 2 separate lovely terraces, rooms clean and tidy, great A/C, wonderful calm vibe about the place, and a 10min walk from the main square.

The riad was lovely. The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was very good as well. People working at the riad were very friendly and hospitable and welcomed me with some tea, which was very appreciated. They also provided me with information of what to do and see in Marrakesh. This Riad is located in a very traditional location. It is close -walking distance- from the city center and Badi Palace, one of the must go spots in Marrakesh. For me, the hospitality and warmth of the hosts was the best. Monsieur Jamal was kind and attentive to my every need, while Monsieur Abdel was very friendly and willing to give any recommendations and tips you might require. The food was delicious, tasted local, and was served in great portions (their Tajine is great)!!

We spent a very good time during our stay at the riad. Our experience was great, also compared to other riads we tried in the old town, this one was the best. Good location, amazing breakfast and a truly great staff which will make your stay very pleasant.

Jamal and the other people working there were so friendly and attentive and helpful. We really appreciated everything he did for us. The riad is a beautiful building in an interesting area. Breakfast was nice and they were very flexible when we had to leave early one morning by making us an early breakfast.
Cons: Just a small thing but our room opened into the dining area so we found it a little bit loud at times and because we weren’t opening the curtain, perhaps a bit darker than ideal. But it wasn’t too much of an issue.

Very nice place! Good rooms and even better service, they really take good care of you. Jamal was so helpful and friendly my whole stay. I forgot my headphones (stupid me) in the room and was already at the airport. Jamal personally got in a cab and brought them back to me on time so I could still catch my flight. What a hero! So definetely recommend! 10/10

Sir Jamal is an extraordinary host. We were taken care of and felt like we really care. The premises are clean and to say the truth, the best so far I have seen in Morroco in terms of quality. The location is perfect - far enough from noise but close to main attraction points like the famous square, which is 900 m away. Wifi was working smoothly, personal care, small things like welcome tea, very full and tasty breakfast, attentiveness of the staff, even personal farewell early in the morning - what else you can expect? Small singing live birds? Yes, they were also there chairing the morning!
Cons: The only thing that was a bit of salt in the overall perfect stay was how actually riad is planned. Other guests were having dinner late in the evening and with all the noises and smell we felt like we were actually together with them. This is because our room was next to the dining hall and the riad is converted to mini-hotel. If you happen to stay on the first floor not on the ground floor like us it might be not a nuisance for you.

Staff was excellent - Jamal welcomed us on street to escort us to the riad thru street labyrinths, was waiting for us any time whe we came back, helped with taxi to airport and with parking. Other people who worked there were friendly and welcoming, too. Location just behind the Medina walls was what we wanted: we had 2 public options to park a car nearby, and we also had a chance to get out of crazy market buzz and see slightly different Marrakech, that otherwise might not happen. Riad itself was nice, classic, I believe, and our "luxury room" was on the second floor - so no issues with privacy. Breakfast was ok, enough food to be ready for a day, but mostly consists of bread and sweet jam, but that's again Moroccan thing.
Cons: Our major problem was cold :) Nights in January are freezing, but conditioner could not warm up the room. Also hot water took quite a while to start running. Bed linen and pillows were not too comfortable (synthetic, probably?). Room is dark, but this was issue also in another riad elsewhere, so maybe that's typical to this country. However, this conflicted with what we saw on pictures when booking. I didn't like that entry to house requires knocking/doorbell, flexibility is reduced. Yes, Jamal was always ready to welcome, but we felt uncomfortable to return back late in evening because we care about his sleep time, too.

it is a small but nice riad. the owner is so kind. he came to pick us up from the near and organized parking. locating in the near of the medina, it was very easy for us to visit all interesting attractions over there. thanks for the unforhetable accomodations.

The kindness and professional of the staff was amazing! Rarely have I experienced such a sincere and warm welcome! The food was also excellent.
Cons: Location is hard to find - especially if arriving at night. Locals will look out and offer to help but of course they are expecting a tip in return. Best to arrive at daytime and familiarize with how to get there or call when you arrive to get help from the staff. When you get to the door 100 then ring.

Where to start? Staff, oh God, the kindness of people, how welcome they make you feel is, such a great people, couldn't ask for more, so helpful and kind. Breakfast is enormous, of course, standard Moroccan breakfast, room was big and clean. We stayed 2 nights, room was cleaned for us on 2nd day. Great location, easily get anywhere by foot. Some shops nearby as well that work until late and open early. But surely whatever you ask for, whenever they will provide.
Cons: Most of Riads in Morocco have same issue with mold, here we didn't have that, only that hot water takes few minutes to start running

Riad abjaou cost my partner and I around 33 euros per night, yet we were treated like king and queen at all times. Abdel the owner, jamal the manager and his team helped us with absolutely everything, from airport transfers, to a very late dinner, to buying our onward bus tickets, giving us a lift to town, organising taxis and so on. I can honestly say I have never had a more helpful team in my entire life, which was so welcome in a place as chaotic and unforgiving as marrakech. The riad is beautiful albeit a little basic, but for the price we paid it seems like the ultimate bargain. The area around the riad is a little intimidating but you soon realise it is an easy walk, and noticeably safer and quieter than areas nearer the souk/Square. You should definitely stay here, take it from us!

Wonderful staffs. We arrived late due to the flight delay. The Riad arranged us the airport transfer with a reasonable price. As when we arrived it was very dark, in the morning he showed us the way to the main street. Delicious breakfast. We had dinner at the Riad once and everything was very good.

The staff is very caring and they are ready to help you the best they can. The room is nice and not that small for being a riad. The position of the Riad is great, just 10 minutes walk from the square Jemaa el-Fna and the structure is very nice even though it was impossible to find if it's the first day
Cons: Breakfast is very filling but it never change, so if you stay for more days you start to get bored of eating the same thing every morning. The rooms don't have a great sound proof so we could hear all the noise from the kitchen downstairs and it gets quite loud. The things that bothered the most was the fact that there was no terrace, on booking there are photos of the terrace but when we went there was absolutely nothing, just a plain rooftop.

Todo muy bien, desayuno exquisito y el servicio muy atento y agradable. La única pega que pondría es que es difícil de encontrar por primera vez ya que está poco señalizado y hay que callejear para encontrarlo. Está a unos 15 minutos andando de la plaza jemaa el fna.
