Our stay was phenomenal! I’ve been to several countries and stayed in many different types of accommodations, but the hospitality at this Riad was on another level. Besides the exceptional hospitality, the Riad was in a great location. Easy for taxis to pick you up and drop you off, and safe at night. The room was spacious, and we had housekeeping every day, even though it wasn’t a hotel. Every evening, we were amazed at how meticulously the room was cleaned. The housekeeper would even fold your pajamas and place them neatly on the bed. In the morning, we’d wake up to birds singing, and the breakfast was delicious, it kept us full until late lunchtime. Beyond all the essentials you’d expect from a great 4-star hotel, our stay became completely stress- and worry-free thanks to Ahmed! From the moment we checked in, he was the nicest and most helpful person, always available at anytime to help and accommodate. He recommended great restaurants, organized a trip, spa treatments, and taxi transfers, and answered all our questions. Huge credit to Ahmed for making our stay at RIAD DAR DIALKOUM truly fantastic!

I had a wonderful stay at Riad Dar Dialkoum. The riad itself was charming, clean, and peaceful. What really made the stay exceptional was the hospitality of our host, Ismail. From the moment we arrived, Ismail made us feel welcome. He personally greeted us, walked with us into town to make sure we were oriented, and even met us again on the way back — such a thoughtful gesture. We had an early checkout, and despite the timing, he went out of his way to make sure we were provided with breakfast before the usual serving hours. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and wants them to feel at home. I highly recommend this riad — and if you have the pleasure of being hosted by Ismail, you’re in great hands.

Ismail and Ghizlan were our hosts and they were so so lovely, helpful and welcoming. We had a lovely sized room on the second floor with a stunning bathroom, access to the roof terrace. The breakfast was my favourite thing, and the location of the riad was perfect.

We had the most wonderful stay at Riad Dar Dialkoum! The place itself is beautiful, calm, and full of charm , but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the amazing host, Ahmed. He was so kind, helpful, and hands-on from the moment we arrived. He gave us the best local tips, helped us plan our days, and made us feel genuinely welcome, like staying at a friend’s home. His English is excellent, and his warm energy really made a difference. Thank you Ahmed for everything, we’ll definitely come back, and can’t recommend this riad enough!

We stayed at the riad for five days and had a truly excellent experience. The cleanliness and breakfast service were outstanding, and the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. In particular, Ahmad went above and beyond—he provided us with great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in Marrakech, and was very helpful in arranging taxis for us throughout our stay.

Absolutely stunning riad in Marrakech! The perfect place to relax , and indulge in a delicious lunch surrounded by traditional Moroccan charm, prepared by the riad chef 👨🍳 , we really enjoyed the food here, the breakfast is so generous and we had 3 different breakfast it was so interesting to discover the difference between South breakfast and North breakfast in Morocco there is many thing to discover, We also had a massage in the riad at the rooftop. I truly recommend if you prefer staying at the riad to 😌 relax. A truly memorable experience!

This riad and its staff truly made our stay an exceptional experience! The riad itself is located in an ideal position- not too far into the entrance of the Medina and our room was beautiful and spacious. The amenities of the Riad were also great!! We utilized the transport service to and from the train stations and it was truly seamless. Ahmed really helped us enjoy our stay. He coordinated our tours and helped us plan our itinerary during our stay, and gave us tips and tricks as we navigated the Medina and toured the city! Thank you Ahmed! Must stay place in Marrakech!! 100% would recommend.

Lovely riad and all of the staff went above and beyond for us, especially Ahmed. Beds were made and bathrooms cleaned every day. Riad is in a great location in Medina, with easy access to the new town too. Only complaint is that our room could be a little noisy - we were woken up a couple of times, for example, by people entering the riad late at night and having a loud conversation, but we were on the ground floor in the central courtyard. Overall fantastic stay, would visit again.

We liked the aesthetic of the riad and the roof top. The beds were comfy.
Cons: Breakfast is only served from 08:30, too late for excursions. We were also not able to have the included breakfast due to checking out at 8am. On previous days we had ordered mint tea twice in the afternoon, a common drink in the city. We were charged 80dr for this. When I contested perhaps this could be waived as we were not being served breakfast on our last day which normally includes this. They refused. We were also told late on the last night of these said charges and that we could only pay in cash. The shower head holder in the suit room was broken. Never fixed throughout our stay - making the position of the water fall awkwardly. We also requested a jug or something similar for proper washing facilities in order to pray. I asked for this three times and this was never delivered. Shocking considering it is a muslim country and this riad did not cater for muslims. The location is fine. Quite a walk after the medina and I would not recommend to walk alone. The staff seem friendly at first but they did a bad job in actually meeting any request. Apart from one waitor. Before arrive I requested and confirmed an early check-in. We also arrived at 11:30/midday, and I requested to have the breakfast or something served a little later. Neither requests were delivered. Annoying after an early start. Breakfast is mostly bread by the way. Not much fresh fruit. We were served fresh orange juice on the first day and then demoted to carton the following days. The shakshuka wasn't shakshuka, I've had the dish before. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and loved it. Beautiful riad with friendly staff (especially Ahmed!), expansive rooftop and serene courtyard, huge and tasty breakfasts included. They helped arrange transport and gave helpful advice on where to go and what to avoid. Bed could have been a little softer but pillows were great and we were exhausted after busy days so slept great anyway. We thought the location was good - though hard to say given that we are not local and only stayed here while in Marrakesh - and walked everywhere. Great value, would stay again and highly recommend.

We loved Riad Dar Dialkoum, we had a lovely room, but it’s the staff that really stand out, going out of their way to care for us very patiently. If you haven’t been to Marrakech and stayed in a Riad it is different than a hotel, more charm, local environment, with a local market close by, that probably has been pretty much the same for hundreds of years. Cars can’t drive to the small streets so you need to adjust to this. They can help arrange drivers but it’s a few blocks away, so they help you. Breakfast each day was lovely. You hear the sounds outside too. But if you want an authentic and elegant traditional experience, I recommend going. There’s also an amazing Moroccan cooking lesson a few blocks from here, you can find it searching online.

Great location and lovely staff always around to be of help whenever needed. Beautiful rooms. Breakfast is the best part, we enjoyed it very much every morning. Ahmed is wonderful and very helpful. For the price of the stay we found it very enjoyable.
Cons: At one point ran out of shower gel and was told there was none to replace it so we had 2 nights without any. Also had to ask for handsoap on arrival as there was none in bathroom. The roads outside the riad are a little tricky and windy to walk around, but that is how it is everywhere in Marrakesh!

We have visited Marrakech 7-8 times over the last 20 years so have some experience of accommodation. This is a beautiful riad with lovely rooms, close to the Bab Doukkala gate of the medina. This means it is easy to access the new city and it's transport links, its also close to a number of cheap restaurants on Rue Bab Doukkala but it's in rather a run down area and about 25 minutes walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa. Check-in was easy, if a little impersonal, but when you did see staff, they were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Unfortunately the riad is rather let down by its services and housekeeping. We had messaged the riad well in advance, to arrange a taxi pick-up at the airport, this was confirmed but no taxi arrived. We had to ring the riad to remind them. Breakfast was fair with more variety than most riads, but lacked any of the french bread or patisserie which is usually available in Marrakech. No other food was available. We received one bottle of water during our stay. We arranged for the riad to launder some of our clothes, but we found them two days later in the office, in the same bag, unlaundered! The sun terrace was rather run down and on one sunny day, all the sunlounger cushions were removed at the same time for cleaning, making it unusable. It feels as though someone has spent a lot of money refurbishing and fitting this riad, but is now trying to run it on a limited budget.

I had signed up for a certain room, they said it was booked for someone else. It was unoccupied though. They knew the time I was arriving and I had the VIP amenity with Expedia yet at 3pm was when the room was ready. This was the 4th place I stayed at in Morocco, yet it had the most absent staff. I had to ask three times for help with getting heating in the room. The shower pressure if you hit it wrong blasted the entire bathroom with water leaving a huge puddle infront of the sink. This place may be better in summer, except you need to walk to get water bottles. I wasn't told that there was water available on site. They DID help with pickup and drop off. You paid for the driver at the Riad so you do not need to tip or pay them when they get you.

Cons: It’s clear this place is all about the owners, not the staff. While the staff does its best, the owners need to invest more in improving the facilities. Basic amenities like ensuring hot water in the rooms should be a priority.

Inside the Riad, everything is very good and the staff are great. Unfortunately, the heater in our room did not work. More important, I find its location and neighborhood below my expectation. The Medina of Marrakech is rather big and complex in terms of walking through its winding alleys and competing for passages with the motorcycles. Dar Dialkoum is situated in the north side of the medina while the historical sites such as the Saadian Tomb and the El Badi Palace are in the south. As its neighborhood is more authentic than touristic, it also took me longer to reach a good cafe or restaurants than I expected. So, one star off.

We stayed 3 nights at this Riad in Marrakech. The service was good as they always were so kind to us. From the moment we checked in, to help us book transfer for a tour. Customer service wise this property is excellent with great communication with guests. Now these are some key points for this property to pay attention to help future travelers to get a better experience. The bathroom’s sink was clogged which was an huge inconvenience. The Riad is beautiful inside but the location of the Riad outside is kind of scary. So be aware that when you get to this property the outside location is not a nice looking place. It is located in the middle of locals market selling goods and you have to walk between aisle with tons of people selling stuff and it kind of make up feel like you was dropped off in the wrong location. Overall we had a good stay but the location outside of this property and the bathroom sink situation make us give this hotel a rating below average.

The Riad is located at the edge of the Medina which makes it very easy to reach if you are arriving via a taxi. There is a parking area where you can be dropped off and the Riad is only around 150meters from the entrance. Do beware of “helpful” locals who will try to scam you out of your money by leading you through the streets. Use Google maps instead. The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed the mint tea and biscuits while they explained places to go and where to eat. The JardinTerasse is a five minute walk away and very popular with Western tourists. We made the mistake of booking dinner at the Riad before we discovered the cost. The meal was good but three times the price of The Jardin Terasse and much more expensive than places further into the Medina. Breakfast however was very good with lots of choices. My biggest complaint was the Riad’s policy of charging 5€ for extra bottles of drinking water. At 130€ or more a night per room this is an exorbitant rip off. A similar bottle at a shop nearby cost 6dirham or 60 cents. This was the only Riad that we stayed at that did not provide free water each day. Wifi was reliable down near the office but would drop out inside of our room. Hangers were provided but the cupboard space had no rods to hang them!

This Riad is gorgeous and really a haven in a dusty part of Marrakech. Ahmed was amazing in helping secure some take away food and coordinating my airport transfer. The personally cooked breakfast was fantastic and the rooftop is great for hanging out. I was shocked that the rooms had mini fridges which I didn’t use but was a plus if I wanted to grab some beer. I would definitely stay here again if I was in Marrakech.
Cons: I had a little bit of trouble finding the place and lucked out checking in after dark. It was difficult to contact the property for help to find the place.

Cons: If I could, I would give this riad a NEGATIVE rating. I CANNOT recommend this riad to anyone. Had we stayed any longer in Marrakech, we would’ve check-out. 1. We felt unsafe walking to and from this location. The children in the neighborhood harassed us. 2. Credit card fees are charged, when we did not have this issue at smaller riads throughout Morocco. 3. Communication on how things operate are terrible. 4. The riad only provides the option of lunch and dinner 6 days out of 7 week without communicating ahead of time to guest who would prefer to dine at the riad. 5. Laundry service leave clothes stained and not properly dried.

The riad is on the edge of the madina so great location to explore the souks and the new city. Don't let the entrance to the madina put you off, its authentic. The riad is safe and the staff are fabulous. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is huge. We stayed in the Jasmine suite which also had a mini fridge and the ac was excellent. You can log on to your Netflix or Prime account on the tv. Lovely linens and toiletries too. There are plenty of sunbeds on the roof along with seating areas in the shade. If you want to find bars/pubs you have about a 20 minute walk. O'mulligans for sports, and Le Zar are very good also Le Perroquet, all next to each other. The latter is a very nice wine bar/ restaurant, and good food at Le Zar. There are closer restaurants in the madina itself but many are not licensed. Someone recommend pre booking airport transfers with the riad and if you arrive in the dark, I strongly recommend it too.

The Riad was beautiful, staff was extremely helpful and polite, food was really good, locations was good in a quiet area of the medina.
Cons: The Riad is in a part of the medina that is very local so it can get very quiet at night so it might be a but scary if you're not used to the area.

We were really looked after by the team at Dar Dailkoum. The customer care was superb and nothing too much trouble. The hotel is hidden away in the north of the Medina. I recommend that you use the hotel booked transfer and then a member of the team will collect you from the taxi drop off point and take you to the Riad. This is by far the easiest option as the Medina is somewhat of a maze. Once inside the Riad is an oasis. Cool and calm and tastefully decorated. Our room Jasmina was large with plenty of windows onto the courtyard below. We found the bed pretty firm. If you are looking for great customer care you cannot go wrong with this choice.

Property was stunning felt very Moroccan and had a great feel about the place. Staff were attentive and really helpful. One of the staff members when we left helped us contact our taxi driver to make sure he was coming to pick us up. We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast every morning due to a short city break and being out the door at 6am for trips but the days we did eat at he hotel the food was great and freshly made. Hotel provides fresh linen and towels daily, and you can ask for water. If you want to be in the heart of the Marrakesh suits and markets this hotel is a great location. 10/15 minutes walk to most site seeing places.
Cons: Nothing the facilities and hotel were brilliant.

We loved our stay at Riad Dat Dialkoum. All the people who work there are so kind, as of you arrive in a family place. The Riad is very beautiful, we stayed several times at the roof terrace and enjoyed the small pool. The place is very peaceful. If you order in advance they cook for you and the dinner was very good. I would highly recommend this lovely Riad!!

Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff who go above and beyond during your stay! Unfortuantely my partner's luggage was delayed on our first day but the staff went out of their way to help organise another taxi to/from the airport later that evening, despite it being late, in order for us to pick it up. They really helped in a stressful situation! We had a brilliant breakfast on the rooftop each morning and they were able to cater to our timings too. We stayed in the Soraya room which was absolutely perfect with incredible details and finishing touches to both the room and bathroom: the decor was gorgeous and even the body lotion had a lovely scent! Personally I really appreciated the hairdryer too. Really conveniently located, quiet and calm, just a short walk away from all the main sites. We would recommend asking someone from the hotel to meet you to find your way to the Riad on the first day, as we did; it helped us feel at ease and afterwards we were able to make our own way back with no problems for the rest of our stay. Thank you for an incredible stay in Marrakech, we would definately recommend to others!
Cons: Great overall! - wifi strength was a little bit weaker in our room compared to other areas in the riad (where it worked really well). However, this didn't negatively impact on our stay at all :)

Location
Cons: Not sure how this place get this high guest view point, but it was very dissapointed so we had to cancel (although it was non-refundable) and booked another one. First night, we were asked to stay in a small room with a bad humidity smell so we asked to change the room and they promised they would do so the next day. Second night it was a better room (not much humidity) but still with no towel etc. We asked for some towels next morning and get shocked with their new answer that we would need to change the room once again. We didn't want it as we can't pack back everyday just because they sold the room to another guests and visit all the rooms in the hotel. We asked for refund, they didn't accept but still we left the hotel for a better one. Walked with all of our luggages (as no taxi availability) under terrible hot weather to new hotel. Seems like they got used to this as they didn't try to fix it and just said "bye bye" to us. Not happy at all.

Great, safe, quiet location in the Medina. About ten minutes walk to souks, a bit further to Jemma el Fnaa but we didn’t mind the walk at all. We loved the energy of the city. The riad was clean, pretty, conveniently located and quiet at night.
Cons: The beds were pretty hard (though it’s worth noting that different at all to what seems to have been the standard everywhere we visited in Morocco - firm mattress was the norm for us everywhere) The Riad Carrie’s noise (as, I’m sure, do many) but we found it was loudest in the mid-day when staff were chatting together or visiting with local friends in the common areas of the Riad.

The accommodation is very nice and looking very well. Like most riads your learn to appreciate them best when you enter through the front door. Th personnel is really nice and the breakfast is enjoyable.
Cons: Some things which could be improved, matras is quite hard, you can’t sit straight on the toilet due to a small heater on the wall. Also some better lighting around the mirror would have been appreciated for makeup and a little higher so I could have seen myself when shaving as well.

From the entrance all the way through, this place is absolutely beautiful, you will not be disappointed! We opted for the ‘Leila suite’ and it was very spacious with traditional Moroccan decor throughout. The staff are so welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, whilst answering any questions and offering great recommendations for places to visit and also to eat. A huge Thank you especially to Ahmed, from the day we arrived to the day we departed, he laughed with us, shared stories from each other’s experiences and also arranged a day trip out to the desert where we participated in Quad riding, camel rides and then a sunset experience in a beautiful setting with a delicious buffet style banquet of Moroccan food! A* We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our stay here and will be our recommendation to any friends that visit in the future!

A wonderful 3 night stay at Dar Dialkoum. Hospitality was second to none. The Riad is a little oasis from the hustle and bustle of the old medina. It’s not right at the heart of the old medina, but it’s only an easy 20minute walk to the tourist areas and there are plenty of good places to eat and drink in the area immediately around the Riad. Can highly recommend Les Terrasses Des Arts for their tagines which was only a few minutes walk away and has a lovely roof terrace. As 3 adults (mother and two daughters) we stayed in the Yasmin room, which was huge and accommodated us perfectly! The Riad is easy to find with Google maps, which took us right to the door - just be aware the door is on a bit of a corner and the signage is quite small and above head height so is easily missed (we did walk past it twice even though Google maps kept telling us to stop !). Easy to get to from the airport on bus L19. If you get off at the Bab Doukkala stop, then it’s only a 5 minute walk.

This is a perfect and quiet place to visit Marrakech, on 10-15 minutes walk to Majorelle garden or market. The location is perfect as it is located in a quiet (and safe) little labyrinth of street, but as soon as you come out you will be experiencing the very lively street of true people of Marrakech. In the Ryad itself, you can enjoy several quiet and beautiful seating area or roof top, or also enjoy the small 3×4m plunge pool to refresh yourself. Last, breakfast is really good and served with a great smile. The cooking lady even accommodated our gluten free requirements. In summary, great place to stay.
Cons: Just minor thing that can easily be fixed: In our room (Hannah, lowest rate one), very well decorated, but not enough thought given to space for luggages (opening/storing) and clothes. But all minor.

Probably only the rooftop
Cons: It’s not a very central position and when you enter the riad it smells bad. The staff was not that helpful, you basically have to check in yourself and figure it out with your luggage’s if you are in the upper floor. The breakfast was not nice, I can’t believe how they serve supermarket orange juice while Marrakech is full of oranges and I don’t find it hard to make a fresh orange juice in the morning. Also the staff is very slow in managing everything and barely gives you instructions around the Medina. The bathroom didn’t work well. The water either was too cold or too hot and the flush stopped working at night. Also the bathroom amenities were empty and it wasn’t very clean. Wouldn’t come back

We had an amazing stay for 2 nights and we ended up canceling another reservation and coming back. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they received us with tea. The Riad is less than 10 minutes from the Bab Doukkala gate, which is a convenient place to get a cab to move to other parts of the city, but frankly since it’s inside of the Medina, might as well spend all your time exploring it. Tasty breakfast with plenty of options. Clean rooms with hot water and heater as well. The rooftop has plenty of places to eat or just lay and relax. There is a small pool on the ground floor, but we didn’t want to miss out on exploring so we didn’t used it. Hope to return soon.

The hotel was a perfect place to explore the city of Marrakech. Although it is in the heart of Medina, it is extremely quiet, but once outside, you are immediately in touch with authentic Marrakech culture. The staff were all extremely helpful and gave us detailed directions to restaurants and tourist attractions. The building is old and the water leak around the tap was not fixed until the end of the stay, so we were unable to take a shower on the last morning. Also, it was still cold in the mornings at the end of February, but breakfast had to be taken on the rooftop or in the courtyard, which was quite cold. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

The property was located in the Medina, but it was also closely located to Gueliz. Majority of places to visit were within walking distance from the Riad. It was a pleasure staying inside Room Hannah! The hospitality was amazing! It was nice, peaceful and quiet in the Riad. The Riad was very spacious and I enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop as well as the common rooms downstairs. The Riad had amazing wifi which was working all the time. There was plenty of hot ware available when having a shower. I liked how Room Hannah had a TV to watch and relax. The Riad is very beautiful! Breakfast was tasty!
Cons: It can initially be hard to find as the whole of Medina has narrow alleyways. Outside of the Riad, it may seem dangerous walking around alone as a woman. But the whole of Medina is structured like that. However, from using Google Maps in Satellite mode, I never got lost and always found it.

A beautiful Riad with lovely staff. We were so well looked after by the team throughout - greeted and bags carried upon arrival, all explained and help for anything we could need during our stay. The Riad itself is beautifully decorated and rooms are individually styled. We are breakfast on the roof terrace on our first day for my husbands birthday - it was something really quite special :) Finding the Riad is pretty easy - it’s 2 minutes walk from a key road and 1 minute from 2 main market streets but once you’re inside its very peaceful and quiet - you can barely hear the noise from outside at all! Would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful place, a very peaceful escape from the city itself. Warm welcome on the first day. Very quiet, we almost felt like we were the only ones there. Attentive staff. Breakfast was simple and nice. Good location.
Cons: There were only small things; the wifi was poor, only really worked in the main courtyard. Since we were there when it was very cold at night and in the mornings, providing some throws/ blankets to pop round your shoulders or on your lap would’ve been really great. Also, possibly putting a drinks menu in the rooms as I wasn’t sure what was available (provided on check in but not seen again). There was no kettle or coffee available in the rooms, would’ve been nice in the morning or in the evening without having to go down and ask. Maybe some heaters in the breakfast area in the cold months also. Very small points for improvement, overall a wonderful Riad!

Hot water didn’t work in our room, when they came to fix it, it was rusty. Listing of room looks like a tub, it’s only a shower quite deceiving. By the time the water came clear the hot water was all gone. The riad smells of smoke and if you have any respiratory issues this is not the place to stay. Did not have these issues at other riads we stayed at. Path to get to Riad is very remote and dangerous nearly got mugged coming into Riad at night. Had trouble with the key no one answers the door. No 24 hour service. No help bringing our bags to the car. Paid over 400 euro for the romantic suite what a waste.

The Riad is based at the north end of the Madina. The Madina can be a bit overwhelming at first with its labyrinth of souks & narrow lanes, but don't let this put you off. The taxi dropped us off as near as possible (90% of the Madina is not accessible by car) and we rang the riad and one of the staff came to get us and guided us the couple mins walk. The rooms were stunning, we had the 2 deluxe suites which both had super king beds (firm) with ensuites and sitting areas. All beautifully decorated with everything you need. Air con in both rooms which could also be used for heat. The riad location is perfect, being about 15-20 mins walk to the main square (Jemaa el-Fnaa) and takes you through numerous souks and cobbled lanes with a huge choice of stalls/shops/cafes & local eateries. It's also about the same waking distance to the new town to modern shopping malls and high end restaurants/bars. Taxis are numerous and can be flagged down to take you part of the way to the square (but you would miss the chance to wander) or into the new town. The staff are wonderful. One took us to a local store to purchase morrocan sims and set up both our phones. Asma was so helpful with helping us to book various trips and recommending places to visit and giving us directions and a map. Yassin was our lovely waiter who served us a hearty local breakfast daily (fruit/yoghurt/breads/pancakes/jams/spreads/honey/omlette/cake/coffee/juice) and brought us extras like croissants when we asked. Our rooms were cleaned and towels/products replaced daily. Cleanliness throughout was excellent. The plunge pool looked gorgeous but we didn't use it as the weather wasn't that hot in November but we did use the roof terrace to have breakfast and to rest and relax in the winter sun. In all, we had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend.
Cons: We loved everything.

The Riad is beautiful. Tucked away behind an unassuming door in the windy streets of the Medina, this Riad has been well maintained with lots of places to sit and reflect. I particularly liked the simple roof terrace. Rooms are very spacious and in keeping with local design. A treat for anyone wanting to feel the local culture. Lots of things are walking distance, and there were some good spas nearby. However I struggled to find anywhere to buy bottled water - and whilst the Riad provided small bottles on request they subsequently charged EUR1 per bottle onto the bill at checkout. Service was where this accommodation was let down. They did not recognise Expedia VIP benefits - even on request. I contacted the Riad 4 days in advance of my stay to arrange their free airport shuttle pickup on arrival. This was confirmed. I waited 90 minutes at the airport but no one came. I then spent EUR8 on a private taxi - which meant finding and exchanging money at the airport. When using local taxis the Riad was much harder to find as the taxi can only drop off 300m from the property so you have to navigate the narrow streets alone. The host didn’t acknowledge this issue - only that the Riad manager didn’t work today and I should ask tomorrow. The manager was very friendly and easy to talk to - but only around on one of the three days. The other host had poor English comprehension - making communication difficult. Overall I wouldn’t stay again.

It is one of the best place we stayed during our trip to Morocco. The Riad is really beautiful, it is not the typical traditional stye but defintely on the modern side. The architecture and also the interior design of the rooms, the garden, the pool and the terrace are spectacular. It was very well designed and provide some sort of calmness in the oasis. Everyday we look forward resting in our room and having nice breakfast at the terrace. The staff were very responsive, accomodating and polite. They helped us a lot, sharing tips where to go and also how to get taxi from the place. Highly recommeded this place to anyone wanting to stay in Marrakech.

Very friendly and all the staff kind and pleasant. Very clean. Being in the inner city do not be put off by the back streets. Can be intimidating at first particularly if arriving after dark. Went to another Riad…. But walked out and came back. Says everything!!

We had a lovely stay at Riad dar Dalkoum 9 days after the earthquake. We had an issue reaching them by phone since hotels.com had the wrong phone number. They responded in a very timely manner by email. The staff was so accommodating and kind, especially Yasen who helped us by getting a cab and negotiating the rate, waiting with us until the driver arrived for an excursion and even communicated with the driver by phone to help with more specific directions. On the last day, he walked us through the market to help us find a specific spice and tea. He shared cultural information as well. The breakfast was lovely with fresh squeezed juice and omelettes. Lovely room and nice rooftop. Pool is not really for swimming but didn’t need. The hotel reception was also very helpful and kind providing tea after we arrived. We could not connect with the driver for airport shuttle but just took a cab for $8 USD. The Riad was tucked into the market so having a guide from the hotel would have been helpful. We were using GPS when someone “helped” us by walking us in circles and demanding a tip. Yasen helped shoo him away. Very happy with our stay!

The suite was very nice and the Riad was beautiful. Some of the staff was very attentive.
Cons: Despite the staff being attentive, they barely spoke any English. The final night, we asked to have the breakfast on the next day earlier as we had a tour picking us up to move to a different city. The staff said yes, but clearly he was not understanding. The next morning, none of this was taken into account, we didn’t have the time to eat as he took a long time, and when we said we had to go as we were already late for the tour, he tried to stop us and couldn’t understand how to do our checkout. Also, the breakfast was very limited, they would bring it to the table (no menu or options, just what they were bringing) and would take around 1h.

-Breakfast was complete (fruit, bread, protein, coffee, tea, fresh juice). -The facilities were clean, including towels. -The pool is perfect for cooling off cause Marroco its kinda hot. -Asma, the receptionist, gave us the warmest welcome and assisted us with everything we needed. My partner had an -accident with hot water, and she helped us handle the situation. She's the best at multitasking. -We felt safe.
Cons: The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the Medina. It's not that bad, but if you want to go on day tours and come back to change at the hotel, you'll have to walk there and back. However, if walking is not a problem for you, you'll have a great time.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Riad, I would definitely recommend this place, the food was really good and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Also the rooms were really nice. But one of the guys in charge of the door and assistance, was a little pushy about leaving a tip, which I really didn’t like because in the states that comes off as rude and poor service, it was not the younger one (yessim) it was the older guy

They were extremely rude from the second we walked in the door. Instead of a greeting, I was asked about my nationality. Although we addressed the issue and was offered an apology, it felt as if we weren’t welcome the rest of two nights. When we asked about the FREE airport shuttle that we were supposed to receive they told my husband to go get a taxi. Also, even though I had already paid for the rooms a month in advance they pestered me about paying the tourist tax each time they saw me in the courtyard. I was quite willing to pay just that they acted as if one was going to take off without paying the tourist tax, by asking repeatedly. They helped me to get a taxi when onward leaving but told the driver to charge us almost double the actual price. My husband and I travel a lot and have stayed on many riads always enjoy getting too know people wherever we stay and always had a great time in roads at Marrakesh. So this was quite disappointing.I was quite shocked at how rude the staff at this riad were too us. Also, we were told we could have breakfast on the roof, then we we asked about it they told us it was only downstairs. There was an uncomfortable feeling. I saw them being very kindly to other clients, and one reason I picked the riad was because of the great reviews. I honestly feel they have a negative attitude towards Black Americans. My husband is from Morocco and the staff speaks English. Please take note if you stay that this is what you may face.

An absolute 10/10 to live the real Marrakech Riad experience and vibes from the decort the rooms the whole thing was magical specially at night too (FYI: the main entrance of the Riad is in the small allies streets of Bab Doukkala so call someone from Riad at first just to guide you and show you exactly where it is)

Overall, our stay in the Riad was very good. It was almost like staying at someone else's private paradise. The whole staff made us feel comfortable and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, with tips on what to do or not do in the city and everything in between. Huge kudos to the Riad host, Mariya! The breakfast was very good (although it was the same every day), and the coffee and mint tea are just to die for. The pool is a requirement for hot days when the sun is high and all you want is to relax in the cooler water. The Riad location is also optimal as it is between Jemaa el-Fnaa (the busy square) and Gueliz (the new city where everything western is located, such as restaurants and shops). You can walk to and from both at any time. AC units were new and maintained; we applaud the no smoking policy; the riad was super (barefoot walking) clean.
Cons: There were only two things that we didn't like so much (and none of them has to do with the staff, but with the infrastructure). We chose the Riad because it had AC - a must have in hot July. However, there were big air gaps around the traditionally adorned bedroom door, windows, and bathroom door, all of which made the AC very inefficient in general. It had to be constantly running to keep a steady temperature. And tap water pressure was surprising low. To the point that after midnight there was no water pressure to shower (observed twice in our 4-day stay). Water pressure would get better during the day and early evening. We couldn't identify the source of the problem, but suspect it's a general Medina issue (water pressure was also low in other areas within the medina, but not outside the walls). However, this can be easily solved with the installation of a water tank at the top level of the Riad. Calcium deposits (observed in the shower head) likely contribute to the problem.

Friendly staff, clean and well decorated! Nice terrace and pool, but pool was not turned on every day!
Cons: 1- breakfast was same everyday for full week , while having breakfast a lot bees are teasing you and making you scared to not have bite! 2- shower and basin water was very low pressure, is taking nearly 30 min or more for shower only! 3- door bell and other noise disturbance at ground floor. 4- Hidden charges, called city charges except VAT

Cons: The shower need regular maintenance for calcium deposits.

rriving on Saturday the 14th of March, it was easy to understand why there are so many excellent reviews for this Riad. With the free pick up from the airport and warm welcome at this beautiful accommodation we were delighted that we'd chosen to stay here. However, it was the help and kindness from everyone at the Riad, particularly Yacine, when the Moroccan authorities made the decision to close the borders, due to Covid-19, that deserve so much more than a 5 star review! Having only been in Marrakesh for a day, Yacine drove us to the airport to try and find out what was happening as we hadn't had any communication from our airline. It was mayhem and we returned to the Riad with real concerns as to how we were going to get home. The Riad contacted the British Consulate for us and the next day we were given the advise to go back to the airport and do what ever we could to leave. Over 2 days we queued for hours to get a standby ticket and were so grateful to Yacine for organising for us to go back to the now closed Riad overnight, making this difficult situation easier to cope with. Thank you so much for your help - we wish you all the very best in these difficult times and hope to visit you again, when the world gets back to normal!

The staff were friendly and welcoming, being very helpful and did everything required to make our stay as comfortable as possible. There were fresh flowers in our room and we were regularly offered complimentary teas. The Riad which is in a great location within the northern part of the Medina was kept very clean and there were lots of places to just sit and relax, including two roof top terraces. The British owner Aine was extremely helpful and showed a genuine interest in making our Marrakech experience memorable.

The staff were so helpful and accommodating, and were always available if we needed anything. They gave us lots of information about the city when we arrived and also advice on how to stay safe when out and about. The breakfast was lovely and very filling, and they provided a little something different each day so you got a bit of variety. When we came back to the Riad at the end of each day, they always asked if we wanted some tea or coffee, which was so pleasant and exactly what we needed. I really liked that the owner came and spoke with us, she was so helpful and gave us loads of tips for exploring, eating and shopping around the city. She's made the Riad a little oasis for her guests and really cares about giving the best experience of Marrakech for visitors. Would definitely stay here again!

The Riad is a lovely oasis in the hustle & bustle of Marrkech and the team of staff couldn't have been more helpful - even taking me out to the bank upon my late evening arrival :). The rooms & terrace are well maintained & presented beautifully, breakfast is terrific too. The only grumble is a consequence of the intimate nature of the Dar Dialkoum - which is that early morning breakfast preparations can sometimes be heard from some rooms, but the staff & ambience, more than compensate for this...., especially if you are up early to go ballooning in the Atlas Mountains.....

We had a wonderful 4 days staying at this Riad. We have never stayed anywhere where the staff were as attentive, helpful and friendly. We arranged a taxi pick up from the airport with the hotel. As the Riad isn’t accessible by car, the taxi driver stopped about a 3 mins walk away and walked us to the Riad. We were welcomed with Moroccan tea and pastries and a thorough explanation of how to easily navigate to the main sites, something we found invaluable. We stayed in room Hannah, a Standard room on the first floor. Room was clean and had lots of character. There was bottled water and fruit in the room, which were replenished as we used them. The room is all in one, so the bathroom is actually part of the bedroom, with a curtain and a half partition wall separating it. My husband and I put headphones on and listened to music as needed for privacy! The inclusive breakfast was taken in the courtyard, beneath orange trees, with the accompaniment of singing birds (who also give you an early morning alarm call). Breakfast-selection was good. We also ate in the courtyard the evening we arrived and again found the meal to be very nice. There is a roof terrace, which was a nice place to sit with a drink at the end of the day. The Riad is in a great location, very peaceful, which is welcome to return to after the hustle & bustle of the city. It is right at the edge of the old town, close to the gate into the new. Very easy to find and it felt very safe walking there, even at night.

We had a lovely stay at the Riad dar Dialkoum. Riham and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating and really made our stay very relaxing. We were in a room off the main courtyard which was extremely quiet and comfortable, and there are plenty of cosy spots in the riad where you can enjoy a mint tea in peace. In terms of location, you're about 20 minutes from the main square- we definitely enjoyed being away from the main drag as it's quieter, especially when you're so close to Gueliz.

The experience was fantastic from start to finish. When we arrived they made us feel very welcome and really valued as guests. We had just arrived following a tour and were quite tired, they provided us with mint tea and some fruit which helped to us to relax after a long road journey. We also had a few issues with one of our guides and they very kindly gave us some advice in getting it resolved. Yacine, Nadia and all the staff were very helpful and always friendly so that we felt very well looked after. They gave us advice on good places to eat and what to see and do in Marrakesh. The Riad is beautiful and spacious with different terraces and courtyards. I found it very relaxing and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh itself. It's also walking distance from the main sites in the Medina which was convenient for us. Our room itself was decorated to a very high standard so we couldn't ask for more. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't recommend Riad Dar Dialkoum highly enough!

I really liked the Riad - the place is very authentic, well kept , Yassin and Miriam are very welcoming and extremely helpful in all matter. The only upset we had was the Dinner at the Riad- we were charged about $55 for a very mediocre meal- I wish we asked in advance how much and what will be the menu But we didn’t and Boy were we surprised when we got the bill- we had an AMAZING dinner close by for a similar charge, and it was amazing in a restaurant that recommend to us by Yassin- Altitudes 31- so I DO RECOMMEND this Riad to stay BUT- do Not have dinner there.
