Our whole experience was fantastic, the people of Marrakesh are warm and welcoming with beautiful caring personalities. Our stay in the beautiful Riad Lamya was in a great location, a few minutes walk and you are into the souks. All the family at the riad were so friendly, we had a beautiful room, kept very clean, a delicious breakfast every morning, and one evening we had our meal cooked and ate 'at home' and again cannot fault it. The home of Safouane and his family has been renovated over years with such attention to detail and is stunning. Safouane and his family are on hand to help and guide you through your stay and nothing is too much trouble. We would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Bellissimo il riad, oltre le aspettative. Lo staff veramente eccezionale, ci sono sempre venuti incontro anche con la colazione alle 6 di mattina La posizione abbastanza comoda e molto suggestiva all'interno della medina. Ottima anche la cena. Consigliatissimo!

Our hosts were awsome. Very nice, positive, welcoming, easy to talk to, very helpful with everything. It was a pleasure to meet them and to talk to them. I felt, somehow, like home. What a petty they don't do city guiding The riad was awsome, as well. Every corner was interesting and inspirational. They are maniacs with cleaning in detail every spot. The cleaning personal was very friendly and well mannered, as well. Every piece of furniture, every detail you put your hand on feels like good quality. When inside, you forget about all the noise in the streets. Easy to get from here to all the points of interest.
Cons: The surroundings of the riad are, maybe, how can I put it?.... we've got a little scared when we got there... The riad is situated inside Medina, but in a very poor and one of the worst smelling area. Dirt is all over the neighborhood. Traffic (if Icould name it traffic) is an absolute chaos, as an european you need at least 2 days, just to manage how to survive. And last, but not least, don't make plans to use Taxis. If a tourist in Marrakesh, you'll be a certain victim of them. I know for none of the above I can't blame our hosts, but it was the place I could write them down. So, what about the riad? There are just a few points I could mention: 1. The faucets are a disaster, but I think this is a rule for the entire Medina. 2. From our soundproof king suite, we could hear every sound from the other rooms. Some noisy and rude tourists woke us up at 7 am in the morning. 3. Our room had not a single outside window, the windows were facing the interior area, so opening them it was like giving up on any privacy. The only way we could have some ventilation it was the well working AC (we benefited of it). That was the negative, and please, don't get me wrong, none of the above are not going to change my mind, Lamya Riad it will be the place I am going to return when back to Marrakesch.

First of all I never leave reviews but the hospitality was so excellent that I have to leave one. The staff were super helpful with booking everything I need even before my arrival. Everything you need they were able to make it available and make you feel welcome and at home. They booked my hammam, Agatha excursion even dinner reservations. They sorted everything out and as a solo traveller that is really appreciated. Architecture of the Riad was stunning!
Cons: They area is very safe but a bit overwhelming for me. It’s very close to all the main attractions but the square was quite rowdy

Le Riad est splendide. Les matériaux utilisés tel le zellige, le plâtre, la céramique, la pierre volcanique …font de ce Riad une beauté. Les meubles et les tapis choisis se fondent dans le décor . Vraiment magnifique ! Fatima vous accueille avec bienveillance ainsi que tout le personnel qui gravite autour d’elle. Chacun a son rôle et le tient avec beaucoup de bienveillance et de sympathie . C’était un voyage de découverte pour nous mais nous y retournerons afin de vivre une expérience dans le désert tout en réservant des nuits dans ce Riad et partager des moments d’échange avec le personnel de l’établissement.

We loved our stay at Riad Lamya!!! The riad is beautiful and ornate and the room clean and spacious. Breakfast was great and copious, we loved the addition of an omelet upon request. Safouane and Mounib provided us with great recommendations for things to do and see and helped facilitate transportation to and from the airport. They also accommodated a very early check in which was so appreciated, the chance to rest after an overnight flight was honestly so wonderful. We loved the location, a quiet reprieve from bustling Marrakech and we felt safe walking to and from the riad in the evening. We would not hesitate to recommend Riad Lamya and hope to be back one day!

Struttura posizionata appena all’interno delle mura perfetto perché vicino ad un parcheggio custodito, fuori dal caos infernale del souk ma raggiungibile a piedi in meno di 5 minuti. Arredamento del ryad in perfetto stile come ce lo aspettavamo, è super pulito. Colazione abbondante e molto varia ma soprattutto sempre fresca. Per ultimo ma non per ultimo lo staff, preparato, accomodante, sorridente e sempre disponibile a qualsiasi ora, impossibile non sentirsi come a casa. Un gran sei speciale va a Mounim un ragazzo di 21 anni che ci ha reso il soggiorno davvero speciale.

The architecture of this Riad is just amazing and it as all so well maintained. The people are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are big and clean and have all the amenities. Breakfast has plenty of options and it is delicious. We really enjoyed staying here. It has a pool on the roof and the views are very beautiful of the Medina.

Lovely. Attention to detail with beautiful dining table, chairs, gorgeous wood bannister, Moroccan with updates to modern convenience. Location very central in Medina. Down an alley so the cabs can only take you to the top of the street. It didn’t bother me, but my husband was not as comfortable having had to walk with luggage.

We had a warm welcome in this beautiful place and the warmth continued throughout with the daily staff. It's in an area at the other side from the central square which suited us perfectly. Quiet lane next to a bustling local street which led to the main tourist area and souk. If you don't want to walk it, there are reasonably priced taxis really nearby all the time. Set price before getting in and all is well. We loved this place, so beautiful, great breakfast, really good value, spotless and lovely people. Wonderful introduction to Marrakech ❤️

Cons: En nuestro caso no nos gustó que tocaran nuestras cosas , aunque las dejaran bien puestas etc me encontré cosas mías tiradas en el suelo y en sitios donde no estaban antes ( como si se hubieran caído ) y eso no debería de ser así, una cosa es limpiar la habitación y otra cosa ordenar cosas que no son tuyas interfiriendo en tu privacidad .

Das Riad liegt ist sehr zentral. Die Märkte, die Medina und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und die Hausherrin ist sehr nett. Sie hilft gerne weiter und gibt Tipps wenn man sie fragt. Wir haben einen Tagesausflug über das Riad gebucht und sehr gute Konditionen bekommen (die besten unserer Reisegruppe).. Auch die Dachterrasse ist sehr schön und es war sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

They organised transport for us, accomodated our request for a room on the first floor and without asking, every day when we came back to the Riad they provided my wife with an ice pack as she had previously hurt her knee. The location was perfect for access to the old town.

Il ragazzo alla reception è la persona più squisita che abbia mai incontrato tra tutti gli hotel che ho girato. This Riad is very beautifully set up with gorgeous furniture and design. The staff are also kind and helpful. The facilities were very clean and they had really nice towels and shampoo, soaps etc. The included breakfast was plentiful. When we had an issue with our a/c there was a swift and kind response.
Cons: They kept the lights off almost constantly and there was no air conditioning or air flow in the main building. The picture and description made it sound like a place to use all the different areas, for example "room comes with a terrace", the terrace was empty and dark and the tent was closed. The shared tv family area is on the top floor, in 40 degree heat and is intolerable without any fans or airflows. After staying in many riads, we know they're usually designed to maximize cool air flows and promote serenity and relaxation. There was no TV in our room, but there was one in the picture. The location is in the medina but it's still a 20 minute walk to the main area and then further walking to see all the main tourists attractions. Every time we left our room we would return to find the lights shut off and the A/c off. We felt like we were constantly stumbling around in the dark. Overall, these things together made us we feel like we were imposing on the place and not welcome to enjoy and relax. It's very unfortunate because they have so much potential to maximize the Moroccan hospitality we've seen across the country.

L’architecture et la décoration traditionnelle qui donne beaucoup de charme à l’établissement. Lit, grand et confortable. Chambre spacieuse. Ils ont organisé le transfert de l’aéroport ce qui est très apprécié.
Cons: La chaleur intense nous a empêché de profiter de la terrasse. La terrasse pourrait être mieux aménagée. Un petit plus aurait été d’avoir de l’eau dans la fontaine du jardin intérieur, ce qui aurait ajouté au charme.

It’s hard for me to describe just how amazing my stay at this Riad was. The location is perfect, inside the Medina. The riad has everything you need: great service, excellent cleaning, and a delicious, abundant breakfast with typical local products. I also had the chance to have dinner at the riad, and it was the best meal I had in Marrakech. We were lucky to be the only ones dining that evening, and the cook prepared the dinner throughout the day just for us — it was an intimate, special moment. We felt truly cared for, like being part of a family. A huge thank you goes to Moneim and Khadija — they were absolutely exceptional. They treated us like family and made our stay unforgettable. I wish them all the best, because thanks to them, I had a truly unique experience.

Innanzitutto il Riad è molto bello e rispetta la tradizione marocchina. Pulizia eccellente in ogni area del riad con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola giornaliero. Stanza confortevole e climatizzata nonostante le altissime temperature di Marrakech in agosto. La colazione è ricca e abbondante con cibo dolce e salato. L’ospitalità e l’accoglienza di tutto lo staff sono state eccellenti, sempre solari, cordiali, gentili e disponibili per ogni evenienza. Un ringraziamento speciale a Safouan (titolare) e a Moneim per la loro gentilezza, professionalità e premura verso gli ospiti. Nel Riad cucina la miglior cuoca di Marrakech (super buona Tajine di Kefta)!!!

Questo piccolo Riad a gestione famigliare si trova dentro la Medina ma un po' defilato rispetto al centro; ci vogliono circa una ventina di minuti a piedi per arrivare alla piazza centrale che si collega con i vari Suq. Per noi da una parte è stato meglio così, in quanto il centro della città è davvero caotico e rumoroso; qui puoi stare in tranquillità senza i rumori e il caos tipici di Marrakech. La camera era molto spaziosa, arredata con lo stile marocchino, molto pulita e con un bel bagno grande completo persino di bidet! Il ragazzo che lo gestisce è davvero gentilissimo e super disponibile ad aiutare, a consigliare e sempre a disposizione; così come anche sua madre. Ci tornerei molto volentieri.
Cons: Tutto perfetto, forse unico consiglio sposterei l'armadio da sotto lo split dell'aria condizionata così da potersi sentire di più ma per il resto nessun problema.

I loved the welcoming the staff. They were so accommodating and kind. They went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed - helping us book a hammam, practical advice on haggling, and even teaching us some Arabic and French to help us get around. Breakfast each morning was lovely complete with thoughtful touches like adding in new pastries to try each day. It was quiet and cool inside - a nice restorative oasis from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.

Tudo, o alojamento é perfeito! Acolhedor, confortável, com ambiente calmo que permite descansar quando necessário. A limpeza é exemplar. Muito bem localizado, dentro da Medina que tem uma vida fantástica mas onde sentimos a qualquer hora do dia ou da noite muita segurança. Na rua do Riad, as crianças brincam à porta das suas casas. O Staff é muito amável e disponivel. O pequeno almoço é generoso e quando solicitados, os jantares são deliciosos. Altamente recomendável. Inesquecível... para repetir! Shukran (شكراً)

Am avut o experiență plăcută la Riad Lamya. Personalul a fost amabil și foarte săritor, mereu gata să ofere ajutor sau recomandări. Micul dejun a fost gustos și suficient, servit într-o atmosferă relaxantă. Un mare plus este terasa de pe acoperiș, perfectă pentru a te bucura de liniște după o zi agitată în medina. Interiorul este decorat cu mult bun gust, cu detalii tradiționale care creează un cadru autentic și primitor.
Cons: Am avut o experiență cu plusuri și minusuri la Riad Lamya, cu câteva plusuri și minusuri. Personalul a fost amabil și săritor, iar micul dejun gustos, servit într-un cadru plăcut. Terasa de pe acoperiș este un loc excelent pentru relaxare, iar decorul interior are un farmec autentic, cu atenție la detalii tradiționale. Totuși, sunt și câteva aspecte care mi-au diminuat confortul. Camera nu avea ferestre reale, ci doar niște obloane care dădeau spre un hol interior destul de zgomotos, mai ales pe timpul nopții, din cauza altor oaspeți care vorbeau tare. Nu este vina proprietarilor, dar poate fi deranjant dacă aveți somnul ușor. Dotările camerei sunt minimale – lipsa unui frigider sau minibar este un inconvenient, mai ales în zilele călduroase. În plus, zona în care este situat riadul nu pare tocmai sigură, traficul este foarte aglomerat și haotic, cu scutere și mașini circulând agresiv pe străzi înguste. În concluzie, Riad Lamya are un bun raport calitate-preț pentru cei care caută o cazare tradițională, dar este bine să știți dinainte la ce să vă așteptați în ceea ce privește confortul și locația. Alla ripartenza abbiamo avuto un ritardo con il transfer organizzato ma non era colpa dell’host che anzi è stato gentilissimo e si ha offerto succo di arancia e colazione (oltre a quella al sacco) per rimediare al ritardo. Siamo stati due giorni ed il ragazzo molto giovane è sempre stato gentile ed accogliente, sempre sorridente.

The entire home was exquisitely decorated with lamps, furniture, wooden railings that made you feel like you were in a palace. The maids, clean the rooms daily and the entire establishment was awe inspiring. The staff went beyond our expectations. Das Personal und der Besitzer waren unfassbar freundlich und jederzeit zu erreichen. Sie haben einem quasi jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen und erfüllt. Auf das Frühstück haben wir uns jeden Morgen gefreut. In der Unterkunft selbst und auch im Zimmer war es sehr sehr sauber und das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag geputzt und aufgeräumt (sogar unsere Wäsche wurde zusammen gefalten). Die Atmosphäre im Gebäude selbst ist sehr warm und einladend und auf der Dachterrasse lässt es sich gut entspannen. Die Lage fanden wir extrem gut und wir haben "unsere" Straße ums Eck sehr lieben gelernt. Man ist direkt auf dem Markt wo viele Restaurants und Läden einen bis in das späte Nachtleben einladen.

Il Riad Lamya si trova in una posizione centralissima, nel cuore della Medina di Marrakech. Non è lontano dal caos, ma una volta entrati si respira un’atmosfera accogliente e rilassante, perfetta per rigenerarsi dopo una giornata tra i souk e le strade affollate. Le camere sono pulite, ben arredate in stile tradizionale marocchino e dotate di tutto il necessario. Il patio interno e la terrazza panoramica offrono spazi ideali per rilassarsi. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Fatima e ai ragazzi che la aiutano nella gestione: sono formidabili, eccezionali e gentilissimi. Sempre presenti, disponibili e attenti a ogni esigenza, rendono il soggiorno ancora più piacevole e umano. La colazione è ricca e servita con cura, spesso sulla terrazza, con una vista splendida sui tetti della città. Un riad autentico, accogliente e con un’atmosfera familiare che consiglio a chiunque voglia vivere Marrakech in modo sincero e caloroso.

Bellissima struttura in stile marocchino, ci si arriva tramite una stradina molto stretta e lunga e non si direbbe mai che, dietro alla porta, ci sia un gioiello così! Molto pulito, curato, a gestione famigliare; lo staff sempre molto disponibile e cordiale nel fornire le indicazioni e informazioni del caso; la colazione un mix fra continentale a base di croissant e dolci tipici, pane arabo, marmellate, omelette etc, molto abbondante e varia. La camera veniva pulita ogni giorno e le lenzuola cambiate costantemente, ogni angolo era molto pulito ed in ordine! Posso senza dubbio consigliarla.
Cons: Una pecca, se proprio dobbiamo trovare qualcosa, è la poca privacy: si sentivano parlare i vicini e gli ospiti della struttura nella hall in modo molto chiaro! Quindi se arrivavano in tarda serata, era inevitabile svegliarsi e sentire tutto, così come chi faceva la doccia o andava in bagno! Ma credo sia una tipicità dei Riad.

Todo! Es un Riad precioso, habitación enorme y muy cómoda. Súper limpio!! Desayuno rico y atención muy buena, fueron muy amables con nosotros. Está al norte de la Medina, cerca de Gueliz por tanto, que es un barrio que también es agradable para ir a visitar/cenar y salir de la bulliciosa media de Marrakech. Andando se va por una calle bastante principal al centro de la Medina por tanto es muy cómodo. Hay un restaurante cerquisima que se llama La Terrasse du Jardín que estaba muy bien. Hemos estado en 3 riads en Marrakech y diría que este es el mejor en cuanto a instalaciones + atención del personal.
Cons: Nada. Diría que es un patio (como todos los riads) y si hubiera ruido se puede llegar a oír en la habitación, pero en nuestro caso no oímos ruidos y todo estaba súper tranquilo!

Ho adotto la colazione abbondante e buonissima del Riad. La signora è una cuoca eccezionale ( abbiamo provato anche la cena ed era tutto eccezionale). Il ragazzo è la signora che gestiscono il road sono fantastici. Gentilissimi, cortesi e sempre a disposizione. Ti fanno sentire a casa. Le camere sono belle e pulitissime ( come il resto della struttura) e la posizione è ottimale per visitare sia il centro di Marrakech sia i giardini di Menara o i giardini Majiorelle. Torneremo presto!!

Il soggiorno con Mohammed è stato bellissimo. Ottima accoglienza, ambienti freschi e curati, la struttura è un riad di lusso, con camera spaziosa, pulita, bagno con doccia in pietra. Le camere venivano rifatte magistralmente ogni mattina. Il proprietario e sua mamma sono stati molto disponibili nell’organizzarci attività nel deserto, disponibili a tenerci i bagagli l’ultimo giorno dopo il check in. Colazione abbondante, prodotti non fatti in casa ma di ottima qualità. Buona la posizione rispetto al centro della città. Disponibili prodotti bagno, phon, acqua in camera. Desde el primer momento nos sentimos como en casa: el ambiente es muy acogedor, tranquilo y perfecto para descansar después de un día explorando la ciudad. El personal fue increíblemente amable y atento durante toda nuestra estancia, siempre dispuestos a ayudar con una sonrisa. El desayuno fue delicioso, con productos frescos y muy bien presentados. Además, la ubicación nos pareció ideal: no está en pleno meollo del zoco, lo cual se agradece para tener más calma, pero lo suficientemente cerca como para ir caminando en pocos minutos. Sin duda, repetiríamos en nuestra próxima visita. Recomendamos este lugar al 100%.

Quando entri sembra di essere catapultati in un altro mondo. La host è stata di una gentilezza e di una disponibilità unica. Colazione buona e abbondante, cucinata espressa. Un soggiorno indimenticabile, accompagnato dal canto degli uccellini che girano all’interno del Riad.

J'ai passé un séjour merveilleux au Riad Lamya. La tenancière était exceptionnellement gentille et attentionnée, ce qui a vraiment contribué à rendre notre expérience agréable. Le petit déjeuner était un vrai régal, avec des plats délicieux qui ont bien commencé nos journées. Un petit bémol à noter : il n'y a pas de télévision dans la chambre. Cependant, cela ne m'a pas dérangé. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour un séjour paisible et authentique !

It is an oasis of calm and beauty in a hectic area. Every part of the Riad Lamya is a pleasure to look at and enjoy. The breakfast is great, the roof terrace is a fabulous area to unwind and our hosts Fatima and Mohammed were welcoming and extremely helpful. Plus there is a great café 2 minutes away, called Walaa Food (opposite the little park) which is super clean, tasty and very cheap. We wish we could give Riad Lamya more than 5 stars! It is truly beautiful.

Extrêmement bien situé dans la médina 10 mn à pieds du jardin majorelle d’YSL, et des souks à perte de vue jusqu’à la place Jemaa el-Fna (à pieds en marchand très lentement 30 mn grand max et sans s’ennuyer une minute sachant que pour les moins téméraires les taxis sont plus qu’abordables !!!! ) De très bons conseils de la part du personnel du Riad sur les découvertes du coin ou un peu plus éloignés ! Fatima tu nous manques déjà tellement, tu es une magnifique personne 🙏🙏🙏… mention spéciale pour le repas de Kadija. Et le ménage d’Aicha absolument irréprochable ! Riad Lamya is a beautiful oasis among the bustling alleyways of the Medina. The accommodation was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and we enjoyed relaxing on the tranquil roof terrace in the sun. The room was spacious and the bed was enormous and very comfortable, Breakfast was good, although some fruit would be a welcome addition. The best part of Riad Lamya has to be the staff who could not do enough for us. A special shout out to the adorable Anas whose warmth, cheerful disposition, and commitment to ensuring our every need was met, made our stay extra special; he is a real asset to Riad Lamya.
Cons: Given the design of Riads, although you are sheltered from the noise outside, every noise inside echoes within it. It was always quiet at night however and our sleep was never disturbed then.

In general a good Riad. Our hosts were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable, clean and the rooftop was a nice way to enjoy the sun during the day. The breakfast was fulfilling.
Cons: I personally found the around area very crowded, a bit dirtier than other parts of Marrakech and noisy(cars and motorbikes, not people) but the Riad was in an alley that provided some quietness.

Красивый и интересный интерьер, риала. Есть терраса на крыше, шезлонги и диваны для отдыха. В номерах удобные кровати, подают завтрак простой, но сытный ( омлет, йогурт, кофе, лепешки разные, мед и варенье). Отзывчивый персонал. Риад находится в старом городе в Медине.
Cons: Плохо сливалась вода в раковине, краны качались, и самое неприятное произошло в конце. При заезде было сказано, что чай, кофе в любое время входит в стоимость. А когда мы уезжали, женщина в возрасте, то ли хозяйка, то ли работница , хотела взять с нас дополнительную плату. Если вы на машине , парковки платные в 5-10 мин от риада.

Un bellissimo Riad con personale molto sollecito e cortese un grazie particolare a Mohamed che ci ha preparato la colazione prima dell'orario il giorno della nostra partenza. La posizione è molto tranquilla vicino alle mura nord un po' lontana dalle attrazioni maggiori. Stanza molto grande con un bellissimo bagno e doccia non usuale in Marocco
Cons: Se vogliamo trovare difetti il letto è un po' rumoroso come la pota del bagno. Il prezzo potrebbe essere più basso ma a Marrakech tutto è più caro del resto del paese, cibo, taxi, attrazioni e Riad.

Riad davvero bello e curato, ci è piaciuto molto, bella anche la terrazza panoramica con la possibilità di rilassarsi sui divanetti. Abbiamo usufruito della navetta per L’aereoporto, puntuale e super gentile l’autista. Un grazie a tutti per l’accoglienza sopratutto grazie ad Anas super gentile, ci ha anche lasciato una cartina e indicato i punti della città. Del Riad abbiamo apprezzato in particolare l'accoglienza e la pulizia. Anas, il gentile ragazzo di servizio alla reception, è sempre pronto a dare informazioni, oltre che a preparare la colazione al mattino. La camera, pulita e riordinata alla perfezione ogni mattina, era composta da una modesta camera da letto (materasso comodissimo) ed il bagno con doccia, completo di tutto il necessario (accappatoi, asciugamani, asciugacapelli, detergenti). Tra i servizi offerti, abbiamo usufruito della navetta per il tragitto dall'aeroporto al Riad, molto utile per noi che siano arrivati ben oltre le 23. Il Riad è situato nella parte nord della Medina, a 10 minuti dallo fermata dei bus da e per l'aeroporto, a 15 minuti dai Jardin Majorelle, a 25 minuti da Jamaa el Fna la piazza principale di Marrakech, a sud della Medina. Noi abbiamo trovato la posizione molto interessante perché ci ha permesso di visitare gran parte della Medina e vedere anche quelle zone non del tutto invase dal turismo .

Nice Riad. Not spectacular, but fairly priced. The service is amazing, everybody was very welcoming, gentle and ready to help if needed. The terrace is also lovely. The location is good if you want to be close to the Medina but not fully inside it.
Cons: The doorbell was hard to find at night and we had to call the Riad to get the door open. It wasn't a big deal, but a sign would be helpful. The Riad itself is beautiful, but a bit dark, and we didn't hang out much in the common areas either. The bed wasn't the most comfortable either.

La struttura è meravigliosa, la proprietaria è una signora di rara gentilezza e affabilità. Ogni dettaglio del Riad è curato, di classe, pulito, elegante e accogliente. La terrazza con i lettini per il sole e la tenda berbera un super touch. La nostra doccia era una stanza nella stanza, gigantesca, pensavo fosse una piccola hamman. Rapporto qualità/prezzo superlativo. Acqua calda, riscaldamento, pulizia e posizione non centrale ma vicino a tutto. Speriamo di tornare presto a Marrakech, sarà un piacere pernottare al Riad Lamya

The host, Anas, is just amazing! He was so polite, welcoming, warm, friendly and kind to us that we always felt like home even it was our first time in Marrakech! We stayed 2 nights in total, but after the first night the cleaning staff lady changed our towels and gave us a new bottle of water. We did not expect to have this service, so we left our room after the first night a bit messy and left to Medina and she also picked and folded all of our clothes, which we felt bad about as it was not her job, so sorry for that, but thank you very much, we appreciated it a lot! Breakfast (local pancakes, various jams, omelette, butter, yoghurt, coffee, tea, pastries) is super delicious and fulfilling. For us the location was perfect. It is 10-15 minutes of walking from the main square, but it was just what we wanted. I would and will recommend this Riad to anyone and would book it again myself!
Cons: The only thing we felt bad and guilty about is that when we were coming back to Riad late in the night, we would have to wake Anas up for him to let us in, even though I felt very safe when I knew that every ring on the doorbell would be first checked by him.

Clean and well managed. Amazing roof terrace and kind staff. They put a lot of effort to provide a clean place and succeed in it. We felt very comfortable. I imagine the place will be cool and comfortable also in the summer. We found an airconditioning in the room.
Cons: Sometimes service was a bit too personal for us (but this is cultural and under the given circumstqnces acceptable) and on the other hand was missing when required. Maybe they will look to improve this in the future. Breakfast quality was good but can be easily improved by including fresh products as well (e.g. fruits).

We absolutely adore our stay in this Riad! Anas welcomed us with a big smile which would stay every single time he would greet us. He is such a lovely young man. Breakfast is included: home made omelette with local fresh breads and tortillas of different kinds. Anas had some time off so when we was gone another very lovely lady would help us. Loved the decoration, perfect big shower and quiet surroundings to be able to properly rest. We would def stay here next time we visit Marrakech :)
Cons: One thing to improve could be the keys provided to the guests. We were only given the door of our room so we would have to wake up the staff to open the door at night. Small thing as they were always attentive and happy to help.

Το Riad ήταν εξαιρετικό! Δεν υπήρχε κάτι που να χρειαζόμασταν και να μην υπήρχε. Το δωμάτιο ήταν άνετο, ευρύχωρο, καθαρό και με όμορφη παραδοσιακή διακόσμηση. Αισθανθήκαμε πολύ φιλόξενα και ζεστά. Επιπλέον ο Anas ήταν εκπληκτικός οικοδεσπότης, πολύ ευγενικός και πάντα εκεί για ό,τι χρειαζόμασταν. Οπωσδήποτε θα το ξανά προτιμήσουμε αν επισκεφτούμε ξανά το Marrakesh!

Cons: het was koud in de nacht. en de verwarming werkte niet goed genoeg om de kamer te verwarmen. je had dus nood aan de extra dekens. dit waren fleece dekens waarvan we twijfelen of dit evenveel gewassen wordt als gewone lakens.

Staff was friendly especially Anas. He was great at making sure all my needs were met. The rooms were well kept and clean. the beds were surprisingly comfortable, I wish I could steal one of the pillows :) the cleaning staff also made sure to make up the room nicely.
Cons: Being a Riad I didnt know usually you need to be let in. I am a night owl so when arriving late I always felt bad waking up Anas to open the door for me. He was great about it though and never seemed to mind as long as I was enjoying my stay he was happy. Just keep in mind if you plan on being out late.

Le jeune homme à la réception était vraiment sympathique et très professionnel (Yannis il me semble de mémoire), ce qui a rendu notre arrivée agréable. Le petit déjeuner était top. La chambre ainsi que le Riad étaient magnifiques, décorés avec beaucoup de goût et d'authenticité, offrant une ambiance apaisante et chaleureuse. Mention spéciale pour l'ensemble du personnel, qui était toujours souriant et aux petits soins. Une superbe expérience que je recommande sans hésitation !
Cons: La seule petite chose que je pourrais suggérer pour améliorer encore plus l'expérience serait d'opter pour une housse de couette avec une couverture dedans, plutôt que la couverture "classique" avec le drap en dessous. Certes, cela apporte un style atypique et local qui va avec le Riad et c'est surement voulu, mais je pense que pour les voyageurs, une couette avec housse, comme à la maison, serait plus confortable. Cela reste toutefois un détail mineur face à l'excellente qualité du séjour que nous avons passé. :-)

Notre séjour s'est merveilleusement bien passé dans ce Riad. Le personnel est adorable et aux petits soins, la chambre est spacieuse avec une hygiène irréprochable. + + : la douche est immense avec une très forte pression ce qui est très agréable.
Cons: Si je devais parler du négatif je dirais que l'insonorisation n'est pas optimale : nous vivons au rythme des autres vacanciers du Riad car nous entendons absolument tout 😅 Egalement, il n'y a malheureusement pas de vue sur l'extérieur ni la possibilité d'être complètement dans le noir à cause des fenêtres non occultables.

Sehr ruhig und doch miten drin. Die Lage war topp. Man hat die Möglichkeit an normalen Markt zu gehen ohne die Hektik in den Souks. Auch das Riat ist schön. Hat alles was man braucht. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und von der Menge reichte es. Personal sehr nett auch Fadima war sehr nett. Gerne wieder.

Cons: Reception guy had a hard time to understand english. They tried to run my credit card in advance even if on booking was said we will pay at the property in cash or credit card. I contacted them and mentioned we will pay in euro cash at the property. At check in the young guy with limited english kept asking for dirhans . He called the owner and were able to pay in Euro . Room was beautiful decorated , same as the whole riad. However it was not the first riad in our Morroco tour where taking a shower meant you get flooded. They called a plumber the next day and were told it was fixed but actually it was not. We only stayed for 2 nights so it wasn't a big deal. Miscommunication from the owner (which we could not meet in person) put a big negative on our stay as even if I messaged him on booking that we do not need a driver to airport in the morning, he still sent the driver and the young guy would not let us exit the riad. This was unacceptable as I showed him the message sent the day before.

L'accoglienza e la pulizia erano eccezionali, lo staff è stato molto disponibile tutto il tempo e anche chi parlava poco l'inglese si è mostrato sempre molto gentile. Ci siamo trovati benissimo in tutti i sensi, la colazione era molto abbondante e la posizione perfetta per visitare il centro della Medina senza troppa confusione.

Mamma e Papà mi hanno raccontato di un' esperienza fantastica, in pieno stile marocchino. Lo staff educatissimo, molto disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta (anche prima del loro arrivo) ed attento ad ogni esigenza. La camera davvero molto bella, estremamente pulita e con aria condizionata funzionante. Un ricordo memorabile reso ancora più bello dalla cordialità del personale.

Die wunderschöne Gestaltung des Riad hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Blick von der Dachterrasse über die Dächer der Stadt ist herrlich. Hier kann man bei guter Sicht das Atlasgebirge über der Stadt thronen sehen. Es war eine Oase der Ruhe in Mitten der Hektik von Marrakesch. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und ortstypisch. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können die Unkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

The place is exceptional, it really gives you a proper feel of a traditional moroccan riad. Our rooms had everything we needed and was cleaned everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even served us breakfast earlier than the times provided as we had to leave early for an excursion. We also appreciated that the hotel allowed us to check in early on our arrival. We definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Marrakech! 5*

Stanza: spaziosa, accomodante, bagno molto bello. Munita di condizionatore (essenziale). Pulizia: la stanza era perfettamente pulita, ogni giorno passavano a cambiare asciugamani, lenzuola e ripulire la stanza (anche se talvolta non era necessario, essendo noi attenti alla pulizia). Personale: presumo alcune delle migliori persone di Marrakech che possiate trovare, accoglienti e super disponibili in tutto. Consiglio: la cucina è superlativa, consiglio di fare cena e/o pranzo, la cuoca è da ristorante italiano. Posizione: perfetta, a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro della medina, adatto a gustarsi a pieno la vita di Marrakech.
Cons: Unica pecca sono le porzioni immense del pranzo/cena, che ti fanno alzare da tavola rotolante, ma questo, in realtà, potrebbe essere un altro punto a favore per scegliere questo Riad.

Riad je na kraji mediny celkem blízko od parkoviště. To parkoviště mně trošku vyděsilo, protože je tady tržnice, ale všechno bylo v pohodě (prostě Marakeš). Riad je celkově velmi pěkně zařízený, pokoje jsou klidné a každý den uklizené. Snídaně byla dobrá. Vaječná amoleta, džemy ... Pán, který nás ubytovávával sice neumí anglicky, ale má neustále dobrou nálad a to bylo nakažlivé. Musím říct, že jsme se vždycky těšili, až ho uvidíme :-)

Situé dans une ruelle à l'écart de l'activité principale, l'hôtel est agréable avec une jolie terrasse avec une tente et de confortable canapé. L'accueil est chaleureux, réactif, discret et présent. Touristes de passage, immédiatement au contact d'un quartier très populaire, nous n'avons jamais ressenti la moindre insécurité, bien au contraire, à l'image de la plupart des endroits ou nous nous sommes rendus.
Cons: Le café épicé qui n'est pas forcément le gout de tous et la terrasse qui donne sur les toits alentours en construction ou tout comme. Mais nous nous sommes à la fois dans le périmètre touristique mais aussi populaire, au contact de la population locale.

Nossa estadia foi excepcional. O Riad fica localizado perto de um dos portões da Medina, o que facilita o acesso de carros até muito próximo do hotel. O Riad é belíssimo! O quarto é amplo, bem decorado, confortável. O café da manhã é excelente. Mas o que mais nos agradou foi a cortesia e gentileza dos funcionários. Especialmente o Khalil (rapaz muito meigo, amável e solícito) e o Omar (sempre atencioso, sorridente e disponível).

Riad molto bello e pulitissimo! Ci sta da considerare che la posizione non è centralissima, per Noi comunque andava benissimo per le nostre esigenze. Molto vicino al museo YSL e giardini majorelle è molto comodo per i pick-up fuori dalle porte della Médina.
Cons: Noi abbiamo un suggerimento su qualcosa che potevano gestire meglio: noi avevamo avvisato che una ragazza era allergica a molti alimenti e arrivate alla colazione non erano ben organizzati. L ultimo giorno avevano chiesto una cortesia di preparare a portar via del pane con la marmellata visto che non avremmo fatto colazione e nel momento in cui dovevamo uscire ci hanno dato la busta con il pane senza la Marmellata. Poi ci ha chiesto se la volevamo ma noi dovevamo uscire di corsa quindi abbiamo preso solo il pane. lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile però secondo me Possono migliorare l organizzazione.

Thank you Omar and your team for your kindness and hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay at your Riad! The Riad is at the edge of the Medina, but still in walking distance to the main spots. We arrived after midnight and took Omar’s offer to organize a transport (20€), which worked perfectly. Also, if you take a taxi to the airport, there is a place with lots of taxis nearby.

Cons: We had a problem with the sewer installation. The first night it was very noisy and we had a hard time sleeping. The next night they turned it off but that caused the toilet to not flush properly. Something they have to solve. The mattress in our room was not very good.

Le stanze e il Riad sono molto curate. La “governante” eccezionale e anche la colazione ottima.
Cons: La posizione, da un lato è molto caratteristica perché vedi la vita di tutti i giorni degli abitanti dall’altro lato invece ritornare la notte dal centro della Medina può essere difficile e anche un po’ pericoloso.

Super emphatische Menschen in diesem Haus. Helfen wenn nötig sehr gerne weiter. Die Wege in die Mitte der Medina waren kurz. Ich bin als Frau alleine gereist und habe mich nie unwohl gefühlt. Zu empfehlen ist der Hammam Holistica (8 Gehminuten entfernt). Termine könne per Mail dort gebucht werden! Das Frühstück ist traditionell. Ein Markt ist täglich in der Nähe (ca. 200m Fußweg) , wo man Obst kaufen kann. Ich empfand dieses Riad als sehr günstig gelegen.

Supper attentive and friendly staff. The breakfast is really good and the serving schedule is really flexible. The location is authentic and the rooms are really clean and well decorated.
Cons: Not much. The only inconvenience would be that the riad is a bit difficult to reach by foot at night, as some doors are closed in the souk at that time, but the property is not to blame for that.

Loved the staff here, they were so welcoming and kind. The riad was a 15 min walk into the medina, which I liked, but if you want to be in the mix of everything, it may seem further out. The property was stunning, the rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious!
Cons: The street was a little loud at night, but nothing to cause too much of a bother. You get that anywhere near the medina.

Riad Lamya is the perfect place to stay if you would like to get away from the buzzing chaos of the central medina of Marrakech. Riad Lamya is a beautiful and secluded accomodation that ticked all the boxes for us. The breakfast was healthy and plentiful. The staff of the Riad are really friendly and make sure you have a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean, spacious and cozy to make sure you enjoy your time at the Riad. We really enjoyed our stay, and definitely recommend the Riad if you want to stay away from the centre of Marrakech.

Situato dentro la Medina, ma non nel cuore. Questo dà la possibilità di godersi un po’ di pace e silenzio lontani dal caos. Struttura bellissima, pulita e curata, proprio come te la immagini. Il riad sta in fondo ad una strada senza uscita quindi rumori zero!!! In 20minuti a piedi raggiungi il cuore, ma non è un tragitto noioso e privo di attrattive. Consigliatissimo!!!

Tout était parfait. Personnel très aimable, attentif, serviable et toujours souriant (toutes les personnes sont adorables). Le petit déjeuner est excellent et copieux. Même lorsque nous devions partir très tôt pour des excursions, le personnel s'appliquait à nous préparer quelquechose à manger. Le ménage dans la chambre est fait tous les jours et tout est très propre. Beau riad avec une belle terrasse. Séjour parfait.

Pour commencer le Ryad en lui-même est tout simplement magnifique. Nous avons été complètement dépaysés. Le Ryad est beau confortable propre, tout était parfait. Les services apportés sont à la hauteur des lieux. Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec des produits locaux. Je terminerai par parler des personnes qui permettent à ce lieu d' être aussi magnifique. Que ça soit la propriétaire qui est d'une grande gentillesse, encore merci pour tout, la femme de chambre qui est aussi gentille que discrète, le jeune veilleur de nuit qui a toujours était présent et sympathique ou le monsieur qui répond à n'importe quelle demande nous vous remercions infiniment d avoir rendus notre séjour aussi inoubliable. Fatima, Omar and the other staff are lovely, they truly make you feel at home. Breakfast is good with bread and pancakes, as well as dinner, which I had twice (excellent cous cous!). The location was perfect for me: not in middle of the hustle and bustle of the souks, but still in the medina. The riad is 20 minutes on foot from Jeema el Fna, but much closer to other attractions such as Ben Youssef Madrasa, Jardin Majorelle and Secret Garden (all 10 minutes from the riad).

As expected the Riad Lamya was completely authentic. The staff went above and beyond to look after us and help us. The riad was a good 20 minutes walk from the Médina, making it a quieter option whilst being close enough to the action.

Riad meravigliosa, la padrona e tutto il personale son persone splendide, gentili, super disponibili e con il sorriso, tutta la struttura è accogliente e pulitissima, si trova appena fuori dalla Medina e avevo letto che la posizione è scomoda e pericolosa, io e la mia amica non ci siamo mai sentite in pericolo semmai abbiamo solamente camminato un po’ di più ma se si vuole ci sono i mezzi per arrivare in centro.

Location is perfect: comfortable walking distance to all attractions yet tucked away in a quiet side street. Roof terrace is exceptional with amazing sunrise/sunset. Beds, room and shower were without fault. Breakfast was good with pastries,eggs etc. Overall it was spotlessly clean but what really did it for us were the staff...Fatima & Khalid were fabulous hosts, as were housekeeping. Would highly recommend.

Wat een fantastische gastheren en dames werken hier. Zij stellen alles in het werk om je het naar het zin te maken. Het Riaad is prachtig met zijn oude details en de kamers bieden alle faciliteiten die je nodig hebt. Er is een föhn en goede wifi aanwezig.
Cons: Het Riaad is wat gehorig door de open binnentuin waar de kamers omheen liggen. Wij hebben hier echter geen last van gehad en hebben er alle begrip voor bij zo’n oud pand.

Il riad era molto bello e topico, lo staff era super accogliente e disponibile, e il livello di pulizia era eccellente. La posizione è un po’ ai margini della Medina, quindi leggermente scomoda per raggiungere la piazza principale, ma ti permette di raggiungere con facilità la stazione autobus/pickup attività, è in una zona vissuta dai locali e quindi si notano molto le differenze.

Todo el personal es super amable, te hacen sentir como en tu propia casa, pendientes de cada detalle. El desayuno es super contundente y te lo preparan al momento. Reservamos el transfer desde el aeropuerto y nos acompañaron hasta la puerta del hotel a pesar de la hora. Volvería a elegirlo sin dudarlo. Todo fue genial y el hotel es maravilloso.

De Riad is schoon en de mensen zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze doen er alles aan om je welkom en "thuis" te voelen. Kamers worden elke dag schoongemaakt. We hebben hier vijf nachten geslapen en dat is ons heel goed bevallen.
Cons: De wijk waar de Riad ligt vonden we wat minder. Om ergens te gaan eten moet je door straatjes lopen waar mensen je aanspreken en om geld vragen, zelfs kleine kinderen. Meestal waren wij om 21:30 wel weer in de Riad en was het nog redelijk druk op straat.

Nos gustó absolutamente todo! El riad está ubicado unos 15-20 minutos de la plaza principal, un poco alejado de todo el jaleo, con posibilidades de comprar y comer algo cerca. El personal del riad es maravilloso y te ayuda con todo lo que necesitas. La habitación nos encantó, era muy bonita, como toda la decoración del riad. Cuenta con un rooftop que no utilizamos pero se puede sentar y hay tumbonas. El desayuno muy rico y correcto. Todo un gran acierto ! Volvería y recomendaría este riad.
Cons: Quizás podrían instalar un espejo más grande (en nuestra habitación no había) y poner una manta mejor, pero son detalles :)
