Pas d'accueil , Pas de monnaie à rendre sur la taxe de séjour réglé , il a gardé le trop perçu . Ce n'est qu'un euro mais c'est une question de principe de nos retour à la villa nous sommes restés bloqués dehors avons sonné et frappés à plusieurs reprises aucunes réponse il dormait et a fini par nous ouvrir. Cette maison et remplie de chat petit grand moyen. Pas d'internet avons pris le petit dejeuner à l'exterieur car quand nous partions il dormait avec un petit de 4 à 5 ans sur le canapé du petit salon en rentrant dans la villa c'est le petit qui nous as accueillis à 21 hres 30 je lui et dis d'aller se recoucher pour l'ecole demain. Mais la maison et propre le jardin avec des mégots de cigarette sur l'herbe et au contours piscine. Seulement une petite armoire avec 1 cintre dans la chambre = pas de table ni de chaise Pas d'internet, et l'imprimante n'etait pas en état pour imprimer nos billets d'avion de retour . A 22h (retour d'un restaurant) c'est un enfant de 5 ans qui nous acceuille . Pas de table, ni de chaise dans la chambre ; seulement un cintre dans la petite armoire .

This is the best Holiday we have had at Gramtahouse Villa Hotel. Very close to city center, breakfast is big and the beds are so comfortable. They took care of everything from airport transfers to excursions. FIVE STAR

Such an amazing experience!! Honestly couldn’t thank the Gramta house team enough they gone above and beyond with their hospitality and have helped me and my family make cherishing memories here. The villa is massive and had very traditional detail through out, all the rooms had their own bathrooms and some with balconies aswell, everything was close to us either walking distance or a 5 min drive as it’s located right in the city centre. The food prepared by the chef was out of this world as we really got to appreciate the taste of Moroccan cuisine, all rooms were very clean and if we needed extra towels they would get it for us upon request, thank you so much for accommodating us !!

It was amazing and ill be rebooking, the villa had so much history, culture and decoration and the owner and abdul went out of their way to make us feel we was at home. We had a driver that picked us up outside the airport and drove us to the villa, the villa was only 25mins walk from medina market and the mall was only 20 mins walk the bus/coach station was only down the road from the mall, also if you love cats there is cats in the villa that are lovely and friendly, overall this place is amazing and also the villa has a swimming pool and a trampoline

Excellent stay at the Gramta house. Villa really enjoyed our time. The garden kept the kids busy as they kept jumping on the trampoline as well as using the swimming pool. This villa was amazing and the people were lovely, food provided was exceptional we really enjoyed the traditional Moroccan tajine provided by the chef. Rooms were very clean and more towel's were given upon request. Each room had its own private bathroom and ours had a private balcony which overlooked the garden. Jemefna square was very close to us as well as other popular areas so it made it very easy for us to visit these locations. Thank you for taking care of us !

First of all, this is not a hotel. It's a house. There is a house keeper that can answer your questions and fix things if something goes wrong. You will be having to need him to unlock and lock the main door if you want to go in and out of the house. Pictures didn't represent the actual place as it stands now. Pool wasn't functional and some rooms are in basement and need serious cleaning. Upon check in, we realized our bathroom was outside our room which wasn't specified in the ad. There were spiderwebs on the ceiling, and some standing water in the room, air condition and the washroom drain wouldnt work either. Toiletries provided were half used hand soaps a almost-out bottle of shampoo.The keeper fixed the issues that we identified one by one, but then the power went out for our room at 4 in the morning due to overload in the building. Upon complaining again, the keeper fixed the light in the room however there was no air condition or wifi in the room for the rest of the morning. The next day, he did provide us with a better room that had the working AC. Wifi and cleanliness was still a concern. We felt bad requesting to fix items as most of the time, the keeper kept on running around fixing things. Lastly, most upsetting item was that they asked for 6 euros per person i(n cash) after the check in for the city tax. Very unprofessional and untrustworthy . If we had known this, we would've picked another place that incorporated in initial price.

This is basically a room in a house, it's not a hotel. The caretaker of the property lives on premises. The condition of the house is not the best, the AC in the room doesn't work and the water didn't drain properly from the bathtub. The room has just a bed, no tables or chairs or anything else. It is also not easy to get taxis on the street. Another thing is that they claim to have 24 hour shuttle service to the airport. We booked it twice, and both times the shuttle didn't show up. The caretaker had to help us get taxis from the street, which isn't easy. I'd recommend staying at a hotel or riad and not here.

HUNTED HOUSE DO NOT even think about booking this place before checking my photos.The pictures on the website must be from 20 years ago,back when it was actually nice,thanks to the cheap owner, it’s now basically an abandoned house.They’re straight up scamming people with fake photos and reviews, that’s how I got fooled too Everything was filthy, broken.The dirt is on another level.When we were going upstairs we noticed all the rooms are empty as the doors were opened and we are the only people in that creepy place!got to our room, there were stains all over the bed.When we pointed out the stains, he said it’s impossible then he saw it, got embarrassed, and replaced the sheets but it got worse, the second sheet he gave us had actual Dirt on it.I don’t even want to know what it was.The bathroom a disaster just check the pictures.Half finished walls, revolving doors, we got only one bedside and one towel while we booked a Superior room,don’t think about the hairdryer you will find even in motels That’s when we contacted Expedia for a refund While waiting, I remembered what the janitor had told me, the owner is so greedy,he put 10 am check out to be able to charge extra, and he even asked to charge€10 if you leave your luggage after checkout But that’s not even the worst part.The place is HUNTED.I had the worst night of my life, and my boyfriend experienced the same weird,terrifying stuff Maybe that’s why all the rooms were empty, even though the site said “only one room left😂

A true gem at a budget price. We had an enormous family room (two queen sized beds). The most wonderful mosaics and the most quirky bath/shower I have ever seen. The owner/manager was lovely and showed true Moroccan hospitality. Communication great prior to arrival too! Lovely seating areas both downstairs and upstairs. Near a main road for a taxi or 25 min walk to the Medina. Is close to the airport as well. Fully recommend for a budget option in a traditional Marrakesh villa.

If you like room keys that look like credit cards, this is not the place for you. But if you like sleeping in a four-poster bed straight out of Arabian Nights, you’d love Gramtahouse as much as I did. Kitchen wasn't too clean, but the bedroom and bathroom were spotless. Abdul was more like a kindly grandfather watching over the guests instead of a property manager.

This space was perfect for me. I had been in Agadir previously at a hotel which was very impersonal, but the the villa, though a little out of the way, was gorgeous and comfortable. Abdul was very kind and took great care of me. I would love to come here and stay for a week and spend time with other travelers as well. Highly recommend!

Me and my family stayed for 4 nights here and we were very happy with the care and hospitality we received, staff were very accommodating and the villa was very clean all sheets and towels freshly washed and given on command seen as we kept using the swimming pool a lot. Beautiful property and the staff were amazing, they greeted us with Moroccan tea and their traditional bread “mesemen” was absolutely amazing !!! Place was clean and the garden had a trampoline so it was great for the kids, our favourite was the Moroccan style baths they had which were available in every room. Wir hatten zu zweit ein Dreibettzimmer im Keller. Der Raum war schön groß, das war uns wichtig, jedoch klamm, was mit täglichem Lüften langsam besser wurde. Der Raum schien vorher länger nicht bewohnt gewesen zu sein. Das Bad im Keller hatte keine Abluft und kein zu öffnendes Fenster. Der sehr bemühte Mitarbeiter hat uns darum mit reichlich Handtüchern versorgt.

The location is excellent between the airport and the old city. The service and reception were 10/10, and he is the most important element of the place. He was extremely respectful and kind, and his name is (Abdul). The house is old and the rooms need a lot of renovation, as do the furnishings (bed and towels), for example. The heating was also bad.

Many years ago Gramtahouse was probably a nice place to stay. Now it is tired, dirty, in need of maintenance and decoration and is not fit for purpose. No breakfast was offered which is unheard of in Morocco. Add to this the fact that the "hotel" is far from anywhere, including anywhere to obtain anything to eat or drink. The photo's on the website were obviously taken many years ago because it looks nothing like that now. I complained to the owner Rafik and told him that I had paid far too much for what was offered to me and he agreed to refund some of the money I had paid. He never did this of course. Inside was stone cold. Abdul kept the curtains and shutters closed. I think he was hiding from someone. He was creepy.. We opened the bedroom shutters/ windows to allow sunshine/warmth midmorning. He had told me not to open them. Why?? Dirt/cobwebs behind the cabinet and garbage under the bed. I lifted it while he swept. He had no mop. The security man was a gentleman. I wish the owners well with their business. I prefer to talk to Rafik/Owner personally about Abdul's actions.

The villa is in the centre of Marrakesh it was very clean and was easy to get around. Me and my family enjoyed it as We got to experience the culture as the Villa was very traditional and the host was very accommodating and friendly. Definitely recommend

Nice house, but rooms clearly require renovation. Also, the room was dirty (lot of dust) upon arrival. They also charged higher tourist tax without providing any supporting evidence. The houskeeper was however nice and helpful

Our host Abdul was fantastic and could not do enough for us. The guesthouse is has amazing decor and Abdul was available 24hrs which really helped us when we were out and about late. The guest house is away from the city but there are a few restaurants 12 mins walk as well as a cash machine.

This is an amazing property. I traveled in Morocco for three weeks and had some rather challenging stays at Hotels and AirBnB's. This was my last night and I needed a place close to the airport. When I arrived it was spectacular and made me want to stay for longer. The gardens are incredible, the view form the deck is awesome, and the location is perfect! Highly recommended! Oh, also, the man who met me at the entrance was an excellent host and speaks great English. Super wonderful guy!

Villa was very clean considering it’s size and was in the city centre so was quick to get around. Food provided was amazing really traditional and cultural and the host was so nice was able to get us anything we needed as we could contact him 24/7. Each of the rooms had its own bathroom and spare blankets, overall would rate this 8/10

We chose to stay here because we were flying out the next morning and wanted an easy drive to the airport. It took us maybe 10 minutes, if that, to get to the airport in the morning. Couldn't have been easier. The host of the property was very nice and welcoming, and made sure we knew about all the amenities. We ended up walking to the Medina, which took about 35 minutes but wasn't too bad. I would absolutely stay here again.

The property manager, Abdul, is the first highlight of this beautiful guesthouse. He is so helpful and used his connections to find me a great small-group tour in the Atlas Mountains. They also served the guests dinner one night, and the swimming pool offered a refreshing and relaxing place to unwind. Lastly, my four-day stay there was an unbelievable bargain. This was one of the most standout accommodations I've experienced anywhere.

The indication on Google Map is not accurate, so we searched for more than 30 minutes to find the place with the taxi driver. The exterior appearance of the house leaves something to be desired; there are 2 large flower pots that are broken on either side of the entrance, the door was locked, we had to call the reception to be welcomed. Abdoul, the service man is a very good man, dedicated and attentive, he is the only one to do everything in this hostel, he does the reception 24/7, he prepares breakfasts in the morning, he does the shopping, he does the laundry, he cleans the rooms, he calls taxis for customers, he helps customers with their difficulties. If Abdoul leaves this place, at least 3 people will be needed to replace him given that it is written that the reception is open 24/7. I was lucky to have a room on the quiet street side, the rooms at the back are very noisy as is the backyard with the pool; there is a main road leading to the airport. There are no restaurant as indicated on Hotel.com. Once inside the residence, we are fine, it is spacious and well decorated, it does however need some repairs and painting. Small problem, we did not have a key to go out onto the street or to go back in. We absolutely had to knock on the door from the street or call Abdoul, this is not really safe in the event of a fire inside, we would be stuck on the ground.

The rating is not reflective of the service we received from Abdul, he was fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. The problem lies with the room alone. The bed was honestly the most uncomfortable thing I've ever lied in, I know other countries have preference to former mattresses, but we'd of been better off lying on the floor. Then there's the issue of the air conditioning. This was clearly just broken, it was blowing hot air all night on the cool setting and I've never been more uncomfortable during a night sleep in all my life, having to get up and take a cold shower throughout the night as it was dangerously hot in the room. Just awful experience but I'm sure this may have been resolved had we stayed longer and had the opportunity to raise this with Abdul. We were only there for one night so never got this opportunity.

Words can’t describe this riad it’s absolutely breathtaking, tranquil and you feel at home. The inside looks like something out of a movie and the swimming pool is amazing you are surrounded by beautiful flowers and palm trees. But the thing that makes this whole place home is ABDUL genuinely the most kind, caring, peaceful man I have ever ever came across. He wouldn’t allow me to carry a bag, pick up a tray, he made the most beautiful mint tea every morning, he called to ensure my safety when I was out in the evening, he walked me to get taxis, all things I can imagine are not part of his job description but he goes above and beyond for all his guest all with a sincere smile on his face. He’s extremely trustworthy and all the reviews about him are so true. This villa would not be the same without this man! A true gem I am so blessed to have met abdul and if everyone was like him the world would be an amazing place! Thank you again ABDUL!

Abdul made our short visit to Marrakech 10x better. Very very kind man, offered exceptional service including sharing his food, water, tea and local knowledge. On our last night we realised we had to print our boarding passes for our next flight and he made every effort to do this for us, saving ourselves €200 in airport fees. Gramtahouse itself is a beautiful Moroccan villa. The pool was well maintained and we basically had it to ourselves. The trampoline also kept us amused. We stayed in the family room which was perfect for the three of us. Highly recommend this stay, very good value for money. Gramtahouse is a walkable distance to local amenities and the square. But located in a more quiet location for a more peaceful stay. Thank you Abdul! We will be back :)

Please don’t waste your money at this place. After I got out at the airport I went to Gramtahouse. I booked 2 nights and one day there was nobody there. The door was open and didn’t find anyone there. It’s like a ghost house. The place is dirty it’s not like the picture on the internet.

Great experience. The design of the building exhibits the history in its fantastic setting and little details about the tradition. The manager Abdul a great personality, very trustworthy, and very concerned about your comfort. Always willing to help. The garden man is a blessing. Great pool, and there is a great nice person that makes sure of it’s cleanliness. The property is a feel like home style. Make sure to call before you check in to be directed properly.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Gramtahouse. Abdul, the Villa manager was exceptional. Accommodating and kind, always available on hand. Our room was huge and had a great view of the garden area with a private balcony. The beds were comfortable and we felt extremely safe on the grounds. The pool and garden area was beautiful and enough shade to keep cool even in 37 degree heat.

Breakfast & Dinners all freshly cooked for us and the taste was just incredible. Amazing flower garden with palm trees & fountains. It's the number One place to stay in Marrakesh.

Villa GramtaHouse Hotel is so clean at all times with a Amazing large swimming pool & a massive Trampoline. The staff & service is excellent with unbelievable facilities like a full size snooker / pool table and a open top terrace with views of the Atlas mountains. Its just 10 minutes walk into city center and its like a Palace inside. We had the best time ever & we are definitely coming back next year to celebrate our 30th Birthday Party.

Perfect Place Brilliant Stay ... Beautiful hotel, unbelievable staff. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, great location, surprisingly amazing so fresh food served hot. The facilities are great and the rooms were beautiful. The actual property itself is amazing clean and is very modern but with a traditional decor. Small hotel yet so much attention to detail, like the gorgeous roses everywhere and little rose buds everywhere. Big swimming pool where staff wait on you hand and foot. If you stay anywhere stay here!

We were extremely disappointed with our stay. We've stayed in a lot of places and this was by the far the worst place we've ever stayed. We incorrectly assumed that because this hotel was on hotels.com it would be a reputable place to stay. To start off many of the amenities promised online we not available - the wifi did not work in the room, there were no slippers and robes, there was no room service, there was no shampoo, etc. We were only given enough liquid soup and toilet paper to use the toilet and wash our hands once. We were not told how to get into the hotel if we were to leave during the day or any orientation of any sort. There was a kitchen but the counters etc. were so dirty it was barely usable. Our room and the entire hotel were freezing cold. Despite that, the shower did not get warmer than luke warm. We arrived late so we had no choice but to spend the night. At the time we realized our room was dirty but didn't realize the full extent of it. However, when we woke up we realized it was filthy infested with ants. Although we had booked the hotel for four nights after the first night we knew we couldn't stay any longer. We left the next morning before checkout time and asked (in French) if we would be able to get a refund. The man working at the hotel responded yes, despite that this hotel has refused to give us a refund even though hotels.com has been trying to help. Do not stay here. There are better hotels with better locations and better prices.
