Cons: Soggiorno molto deludente. Il prezzo è decisamente troppo alto per quello che viene offerto. Le foto della camera non corrispondono alla realtà: sembrava grande, ma in realtà era molto piccola e scomoda. Sarebbe corretto indicare le dimensioni reali delle stanze. Al momento della partenza ci è stato chiesto di pagare nuovamente le tasse, nonostante fossero già state pagate il giorno prima. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare a lungo mentre gestivano un gruppo davanti a noi, creando solo confusione e perdita di tempo. Alla fine hanno dovuto verificare con un altro collega per confermare che avevamo già pagato. Organizzazione poco professionale, gestione confusa e rapporto qualità-prezzo molto scarso. Non consiglio questa struttura

L’accueil exceptionnel de tout le personnel. Essaid, Samir, Mohamed, Hanane sont très attentionnés et d’une gentillesse inoubliable. La qualité du massage est aussi à signaler ainsi que les petits déjeuners savoureux. Le lieu est magnifique, particulièrement le toit terrasse à la vue superbe sur toute la médina.

Cons: Es ist ein sehr altes historisches, charmantes Hotel in der Altstadt. Natürlich hat es dann auch kleine Mängel. Toilette war locker, AC hat nicht funktioniert, brauchten wir aber auch nicht. Fenster waren schwierig zu öffnen. War aber alles kein Problem.

Cons: Nous avuons prévu un diîner spécial pour l'EVJF de ma soeur que j'avais prévu avec la responsable depuis 6 mois. Arrivée le soir, nous n'avons rien eu de ce que nous avions demandé et on voulait nous faire payer le même prix alors qu'il y avait la moitié du repas prévu. Auncun geste commercial n'a été fait. Super recomendable. Todo genial. Estuvimos tres noches. Nos dieron la habitación del segundo piso, y a mi madre le cuesta mucho subir escaleras. Nada mas verlo, Samir (el chico que nos atendió todos los días) nos ofreció cambiarnos a la habitación de la planta baja, y en el mismo momento nos bajó las maletas y nos limpiaron la habitación nueva. El Riad es super bonito y muy limpio, la decoración es preciosa. El desayuno es muy completo y cada día cambian algo del menú. Nosotros no comimos allí pero también tienen menú para comidas y cenas y muy bien de precio. Samir es encantador, nos recomendó sitios donde ir, monumentos que visitar y nos ofreció excursiones diversas. Ellos nos programaron el transfer tanto a la ida como a la vuelta hacía el aeropuerto. El último día, nuestro vuelo salía por la tarde y nos dejaron dejar las maletas allí. Llegamos pronto y nos sentamos en el salón a esperar a la hora y Samir nos sirvió un té y unos dulces árabes (también lo hizo el primer día cuando llegamos) y además nos regaló dos souvenirs típicos de Marruecos. La experiencia muy buena!

Dormire in un riad nel cuore di Marrakech nella zona Mouassine. Centrale, a due passi veramente da tutto, ma nonostante questo zero rumori notturni. Lo staff accogliente e disponibile mette a disposizione vari servizi tra cui taxi per l’aereoporto (un po’ overpriced rispetto a quello che si trova in altre parti ma perfetto per chi sta poco e ha voglia di sentirsi comodo). Colazione buonissima, al tavolo, ogni giorno con una piccola variazione. Inizialmente ci era stata data una camera doppia, risolto subito con un upgrade in camera matrimoniale veramente stupenda. Si può accedere al tetto con vista sulla città. Infine ci hanno accolto con la cerimonia del the ed è stato molto piacevole :)
Cons: Sicuramente qualche piccolezza potrebbe migliorare ma nel complesso confermo quanto sopra!

Einfaches marokkanisches Standard-Frühstück, gibt es an jeder Ecke für 5-8EUR
Cons: Riad mit Patina, was an allen Ecken mal saniert werden müsste (Türschloss ist defekt, Fliesen im Bad fehlen, vieles mit Farbe zusammen gestrichen, Matratze, feucht und fest, Bettdecke mit Löchern und Haaren). Auch das Personal ist überfordert und hat Abnutzungserscheinungen in der Tätigkeit, wir mussten immer ewig auf unser Frühstück warten, das Frühstück war mittelmäßig (besser gegenüber beim Bäcker auf der Straße frühstücken) – der Kaffee im Riad war viel zu dünn, die Pfannkuchen und Ei kalt. Während unseres Aufenthalts im Februar war das Riad voll belegt, jedoch nur von zwei Personen betrieben, die zwar freundlich, aber überfordert waren. Der Kollege an der Rezeption hatte den Scharm eines Apfelweinkellners; zu dem pauschal über das Riad bestellten Flughafentransfer wurde noch für die verschiedenen Subdienstleister durch den Rezeptionist ein hohes Trinkgeld eingefordert. Die Lage ist sehr gut, aber das Riad mit Abstrichen zu genießen, dafür ist der Preis (wir haben über 130 € für das Zimmer am Tag bezahlt) zu hoch. … und zuletzt noch einer; WLAN hat auch nie funktioniert - mit der Revolut eSIM Karte sind wir super durchgekommen. Ich empfehle eine Wohnung in der Neustadt.

Un personnel au petit soin pour ces hôtes, agréables, serviables et professionnels. Super accueil en arrivant avec thé et petites douceurs marocaines , un petit déjeuner très copieux. Nous avons fait un gommage traditionnel au spa du Riad, c’était super. Et un soir nous avons mangé au Riad , tout était très bon. Nous avions demandé le transfert Riad aéroport pour l’allée et pour le retour, tous s’est bien passé.

Die Lage meines Zimmer neben der Dachterasse war optimal, ruhig und frei , mit herrlichem Blick auf Marrakesch. Herr Faruk und sein Team waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank seinem Kollegen der für das Frühstück zuständig ist. Ich bekam jeden Tag schon um 7 Uhr ein Frühstück bevor ich meine Touren antrat.

Great location with warm, welcoming staff - Farouk and the whole team were super professional, accommodating and helpful throughout to make our stay as lovely as possible. The property/room was clean and very well maintained. Many lovely areas and spots to sit and relax in. The Riad felt very safe and like a home away from home. The little birds in the courtyard trees provided many charming concerts.
Cons: Didn't love the breakfast but there was nothing wrong, just wasn't to our personal preferences and tastes. They went all out and it was presented beautifully.

Cons: Les petits déjeuners sont communs et peu diversifiés. La chambre était froide et humide, un des 2 chauffages ne fonctionnait pas ni la lumière dans une partie de la pièce, on a du attendre 2 jours pour la réparation. On nous a proposé de changer de chambre mais pour une chambre de plus petite taille. Le riad propose un lift de l'aéroport au Riad au plus du double du prix d'un taxi. Le pommeau de douche était défectueux.

Cons: Vif mécontentement suite à mon récent séjour dans le Riad ALMA MOUASSINE à Marrakech, du 2 au 8 octobre 2025 (6 nuits), pour un montant total de plus de 700 euros Ce riad, pourtant noté 9 sur BOOKING, ne correspond en rien à la qualité et aux services annoncés, et nous a causé de nombreuses déconvenues majeures : Une fuite importante dans la douche inondant la salle de bain, nous obligeant à avoir les pieds dans l’eau en permanence. Une salle de bain exiguë, tellement petite que pour accéder aux toilettes, il nous fallait avoir les pieds dans la douche. Absence totale de signal TV, rendant impossible le visionnage des programmes pourtant inclus dans la location. Absence de coffre-fort, alors que celui-ci était clairement mentionné dans le descriptif. Une chambre donnant directement sur un accès d’escalier, ce qui engendrait un bruit constant et nous a même fait assister à un conflit désagréable entre la responsable et le personnel, nous mettant très mal à l’aise. Il était indiqué sur votre site la présence d’une terrasse depuis la chambre, or aucune terrasse. Le descriptif mentionnait un coin salon, inexistant dans la réalité. Le lit annoncé comme un grand lit de 2 mètres mesurait en réalité seulement 140 cm. Le transfert vers l’aéroport facturé 20 €, effectué à 4h du matin. The staff at Riad Alma Mouassine were a delight to work with -- kind and professional. The Riad is in an excellent location if you want to stay in the old Medina area. The rooms are well appointed, and the value is excellent. The breakfasts were delicious. We truly enjoyed our stay!
Cons: The only challenge with this riad was noise control. Comfort in a riad depends on guests being considerate of each other -- or on riad staff having some well-defined protocols for ensuring basic behavior boundaries. During our visit, a large family party of about 15 held several late-night parties in the common-area courtyard beneath our interior window, including a birthday party that went past 2:30 am and other loud, group gatherings that extended past midnight. I broke out my earplugs and a white noise app, but they were so loud none of my mitigating strategies helped. It was really hard to sleep. The polite Riad staff was apologetic but did not seem to know how to intervene effectively to shut them down. I don't expect an centuries-old building to be 100% soundproof, and accommodating a wide variety of guests with different habits and bedtimes is a standard part of the riad experience. But once it gets to be past midnight, I would typically look to the staff to start managing their noisy guests more actively, including asking them to return to their rooms.

Perfect property especially if you plan to base your time around the Medina & souks in the evenings. Ideal base also if you are going on excursions as pick up areas are less than a 10 minutes walk away. The property is an authentic Riad with the beauty and craftsmanship evident everywhere. The beds are comfortable and room cleaned daily. The staff go out of their way to enhance your stay. Every morning we were greeted by Ibrahim who was an absolute gentleman - he provided us with fresh orange juice, fruit salad, selection of breads, coffee and ensured the three teenagers were sorted with hot chocolate to start their day. The inner courtyard with chirping birds is a lovely setting to have breakfast & relax in the evening. Both Farouk and Ibrahim had the banter & chats with us which was greatly welcomed and kept my sons posted on the Afcon scores. Ibrahim was there again in the evening time and always welcomed us back.It was a very enjoyable comfortable stay and I would highly recommend.

Cons: Je suis extrêmement déçue de mon séjour dans ce riad. Je suis venue pour deux jours de repos, avec un soin spa de trois heures réservé spécialement pour mon arrivée. Or : – Le hammam n’était pas chaud malgré trois heures d’attente. – La salle de spa était froide et un chauffage d’appoint avec fils électriques visibles a été installé, ce qui posait un véritable problème de sécurité. – La personne du soin a utilisé ses propres produits personnels pour le visage, ce qui n’est pas acceptable pour un établissement hôtelier. Du côté de la chambre : – La suite ne disposait ni d’une table ni d’une chaise, alors que j’avais précisé à l’avance que j’avais besoin de travailler. – Le Wi-Fi ne fonctionnait quasiment pas : aucune connexion dans le patio, aucune sur la terrasse, et un signal instable dans la chambre. – La poignée de la fenêtre était cassée, photos à l’appui. Pour 120 € la nuit + 70 € de soins, les prestations étaient très loin du standing annoncé. Et pour finir, l’établissement affirme maintenant que je n’ai jamais séjourné chez eux, ce qui est totalement faux, et refuse de me fournir les factures dont j’ai besoin. C’est inacceptable et non professionnel. Je déconseille vivement ce riad : prestations non conformes, niveau de sécurité douteux, expérience décevante, et mauvaise foi manifeste dans la gestion des clients.

Good location, Riad offers transfer but you also can easily get there walking by yourself. I do believe breakfast is not a common thing in Morocco so breakfast was honest and welcoming.
Cons: We stayed in a cute room in the second floor and was extremely noisy. We could hear everyone coming up and down , having breakfast or talking by the main floor. Beds and Pillows also are not very comfortable in Morocco, so was not a Riad issue. So get ready for that.

A great location for exploring the medina/ souks on your doorstep, and an easy to navigate 10 min walk to a pick up area for tours/taxis etc. The area was full of life, but felt safe. Very quiet day and night once inside the riad, with a lovely roof terrace to watch sunset/ relax. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast comprised of lots of bread/ cake/ pancakes with juice and tea/ coffee. ( I think you could have eggs/ cereals if you asked possibly?- we hadn't realised!). A traditional place to stay, rather than a 'sterile' international hotel. We arrived at 11pm, but were still greeted with tea and a warm welcome after our pre-organised organised airport transfer, who met us outside the airport doors, with a patterned riad sign which made it easy to spot amongst all the dozens of others! We then had a man meet us from where the taxi stopped to take us on foot the rest of the way.
Cons: Just for first-time guest information, not a negative! The riads in the medina are often all tucked away and may be quite hard to find just that first time, especially if you arrive later evening when most little stores have shut/ it is dark. A lot will be a few minutes walk down very busy passageways with mopeds/ carts etc in the day, or completely empty later on. Although it is more expensive, it may be easier to take the riad organised airport transfer (20€) that first time to avoid the initial uncertainty/and then have a luggage cart to meet you there, rather than drag a suitcase on a rough street especially when you arrive off a flight, uncertain of safety/ where to go etc. In reality we felt very safe the whole time there, actually hassled very little. If you can manage to wait to change money once there, there are ATMs etc around. The airport exchange desk was very expensive.

This was our first Riad of four. Only stayed for one night but would loved to have stayed more. Arrived late after a long day travelling and welcomed with tea. Checked in and went out for dinner just round the corner. Returned back and had a late night dip in gorgeous little pool. Room had double bed and two proper single beds for teenaged boys with curtain between areas. Great aircon. Beautiful little bathroom. Amazing terrace that we did not get to make the most of. Slept so well, great lie in and amazing breakfast by pool. We thought it was a shame not to have breakfast on the roof but in other riads we did and got bothered by bees so now know this is better!!! I think it is in the 'posh area' and felt very safe. Was great value for money and a simple walk to the main square and busier end of the medina. We will be back! Thank you!

L'emplacement du riad est idéal proche des monuments les plus beaux de Marrakech. Le riad est calme et très bien équipés. L'accueil est très chaleureux et sincères. Les offres spa sont incroyables , la cuisine de Djamila est delicieuse. Nous avons été reçues merveilleusement bien , merci à Farouk,Imad, Samir et aux autres personnes qui ont été aux petits soins tout le long de notre séjour pour leur conseil, leur aide et leur disponibilité 24h sur 24h. Cons: la piscine qui en fait n’en est pas une et qui surtout est au rez-de-chaussée alors que le solarium est sur la terrasse donc il faut descendre pour se baigner ce n’est vraiment pas agréable et en plus l’eau est froide vu que le bassin étant au rez-de-chaussée le soleil ne la chauffe pas. un bar était annoncé mais il n’y en avait pas.

Le riad est idéalement situé, en plein cœur de la médina, à deux pas du souk, dans un quartier agréable. Le petit-déjeuner est très bon et surtout flexible : l’équipe s’adapte volontiers à nos horaires d’activités, ce qui est très appréciable. Un vrai coup de cœur également pour le hammam et le massage, proposés directement à l’intérieur du riad : une expérience intimiste. Foram explêndidos connosco! Fomos recebidos pelo Imad era meia noite no dia da chegada, e serviu-nos um chá e umas tostas caracteristicas de lá. Em qualquer momento ele foi sempre muito simpático e atencioso. Preocupado em nos sentirmos bem. E o Farouk?? Ele sempre de sorriso no rosto e preocupado se estava tudo bem, o que íamos fazer, se precisavamos de ajuda. Interessado que jogo estavamos a jogar de cartas! A cozinheira também muito querida, e cozinhava muito bem! Fizeram-nos sentir em casa! Obrigada por tudo!! Um dia se voltar, vou-vos procurar! Fiquem neste Riad quando visitarem Marraquexe.

Very beautiful lace, really beautifully designed with a nice rooftop terrace with a view where you can relax in the sun and chill after walking in the city. Location is perfect, super close to everything, but at the same time it’s located on the small cosy street and not directly on the main one. The staff were super nice and helpful! They told us everything we wanted to know about the city.
Cons: The breakfast was unfortunately small and not diverse. It was typical, but for us was not enough and had lack of options. The second problem was the smell from the toilet all the time and especially at night it was really disturbing. I understand it’s an old traditional house, but it was not cool. The rest was good and clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Cons: The water pressure was low in the sink. I didn't use the shower, so I cannot comment on that experience. Access to bottled water would have been nice. The credit card machine was not working when I checked out, so I needed to pay for tax and incidentals with cash. Their wasn't an ATM nearby which would have been a problem if I didn't have enough cash. They had limited change available too, but the staff worked with me to compromise on a settlement since neither of us had exact change,

The breakfast was nicely served. A dainty portion of fresh fruit salad and freshly squeezed orange juice. There was always a Moroccan pancake or similar with fresh bread and a triangle of processed cheese or the local cream cheese which was delicious.
Cons: The traditional building was lovely, but thin wooden doors and hard floors meant than noise travelled very easily. We got used to it as most guests were thoughtful and mindful of how the sound really travelled.

The Riad is beautifully decorated and located in the heart of the medina, a very central location and short distance to all the interesting sights. All is very clean and staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Lovely entrance door and Riad is in fact two Riads joined together for more space. Breakfast is fresh and plentiful with variations every day. Coffee is awesome. A little oasis in the middle of a very busy medina. Can highly recommend.
Cons: The only thing that was a little irritating was the noise of the motorbikes driving through the medina at night. Our window opened to the road / path to one of the main roads through the souk and the medina. Bikes were speeding through these lanes until the early hours of the morning which was echoing through the houses. No big deal but a kept us awake for some time.

Stunning traditional decor in communal areas. Helpful staff - host was especially helpful when we got lost looking for the Riad - which is easy to locate once you know where it is.
Cons: A breakfast menu/choices would be helpful in the absence of a buffet (food was automatically brought out to the individual table). However, we were in a rush so perhaps didn't have chance to figure the system. What we had, we enjoyed.

This Riad is located in the centre of a very good area and is truly the Soul of the Mouassine neighbourhood which its name comes from. Many of the most special touristic places are nearby, Jardin Secret (7 minutes by foot), the Museum Mouassine (5 mins), Djema el Fna (5-7 mins), Dar El Bacha, exchange offices, restaurants, hammams, spice market, wonderful handicraft shops. It is one of the most amazing quarters in the Medina (old city). The best entry to the Medina to reach the Riad is probably Bab Laksour or Djema El Fna and the staff at the hotel is always ready to support you. The Riad itself has a wonderful atmosphere. I was there with family and friends who visited Marrakech for the first time. All of them were amazed! The architecture of the two courtyards is a beautiful combination and each floor has a unique design and cozy corners to relax and enjoy. Every room is individual, perfect for everyone’s taste! The architecture of this very traditional, yet perfectly renovated Riad is breathtaking. And the large rooftop and view is one of the best things you must see at any time in the day! Towel exchange and cleaning service is provided daily – The staff and management is very courteous, professional, familiar, kind and helpful! Breakfast was very delicious and freshly made daily, as well as dishes which can be pre-ordered. You can book trips to other areas in the Riad as well – on the whole it offers everything one needs. Thank you Ibtissam, Slimane, Abderrahmane and Julie for making us feel comfortable as if we’d had a second home in Marrakech. I've been to other places, yet since I stayed at this Riad I found the perfect residence. I can wholeheartedly recommend Riad Alma Mouassine to anyone who wants to visit Marrakech and enjoy a wonderful unique stay.

Cons: I was in a small room on the terrace which was beautiful but not well insulated. A group arrived late during my stay and were loud on the terrace into the small morning hours, which wasn't appreciated though they weren't to know. My room was quite dark even with the lights on, and the shower only stayed hot for approx 5 minutes each day. I've had better stays in Morocco for a cheaper price.

It’s in a great location for getting around in the heart of the Medina, having said that we had difficulty with our pick up to take us to the hotel, and finding your way around the Medina at night is not. Taxis and cars aren’t allowed in you get dropped off at the gate and need to walk in.
Cons: There was nothing, it’s a lovely traditional building everywhere is spotless, the roof top terrace is lovely. The lady who I think manages the hotel is really lovely and helpful.

The hotel is located in the center of Medina which has advantages and disadvantages. Positives: you live in a commercial, tourist part of the city. You are close to many attractions. Minus: no car will come to the hotel, so you have to walk with your luggage for about 600 m. The hotel staff is fantastic. Polite, smiling, helpful.
Cons: The hotel is in local style. Very clean, but the acoustics make it difficult to sleep. All the voices in the corridor, in the breakfast room can be heard in the rooms. Looking at hotel prices in Europe or Asia, the price for such a hotel standard is too high.

Any visitor will love the ambience of this comfortable restored traditional house. However, the real treasure at Riad Alma Mouassine are the warm and attentive staff. Our family were made to feel completely at home by our superb hosts - Suleman, Btissam and Essam. The team were both knowledgeable, helpful and generous with their time to answer our queries about the locality and excursion plans, including arranging spa treatments. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable with traditional decor and we enjoyed dinner on the roof terrace one night, with wonderful mint tea served there. Breakfast was excellent including local foods and great coffee. The house is very homely and peaceful and is within easy walk to the souks and main square. Would highly recommend for families looking for high quality, traditional hospitality. We found the stay to be excellent. In addition, you could consider providing a mini fridge in rooms for cooling water bottles / drinks.

At first, I was reluctant to write a review for Riad Alma Mouassine because it is such a treasure, and I selfishly did not want it to be discovered by everyone. However, it doesn't make sense to keep such a wonderful place all to myself. Recently, I had the pleasure of staying at this Riad and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we made the reservation, communication with Julie was simply exceptional. She was always ready to assist us, responding quickly and helpfully through both Booking.com and WhatsApp. Her dedication to ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay was truly admirable and made our experience much more comfortable and worry-free. Julie showed an attention to detail and care for the guests that is truly rare to find. The Riad's team was undoubtedly the best I have ever encountered. Issam and Slimane (apologies if the name is misspelled) and the other team members were not only exemplary professionals but also showed genuine concern for us that went far beyond their duties. Their valuable advice and recommendations greatly enriched our experience, helping us discover the best places to visit and the best ways to enjoy our time in Marrakech. They were incredibly friendly and represented the best that Morocco has to offer—good-hearted people with incomparable hospitality. I sincerely hope that the Riad's owners recognize and reward these exceptional individuals for their hard work and dedication. One of the best meals we had in Morocco was the dinner at the Riad. The tagine was simply delicious, prepared with fresh and authentic ingredients, and accompanied by local starters that allowed us to savor authentic Moroccan cuisine. The desserts were also exceptional, closing the meal with a golden key. We had the honor of having Issam explain the culinary traditions and cultural habits during the meal, which added an extra layer of meaning and enjoyment to the experience.

The breakfast was good although adding local eggs and morrocan style fava beans to the breakfast menu will be something to consider specially for visitors from Europe. The staff were super friendly and attentive therefore they have our 5 stars.
Cons: The accommodation was not up to standard for the following reasons: - The door into the room was insecure i.e the locking mechanism was very poor (padlock operated) - the door into the bathroom was difficult to close and needs attention. Again poor locking mechanism - the shower head holder was loose - the toilet seat was loose or broken and needs attention - the glass window in the bathroom needs curtain for privacy. - the AC unit in the bedroom was just blowing normal air and the AC unit in the additional room was not working at all so our son was struggling to have good sleep through the warm nights - the walls in the additional room looked dirty please check attached photo. - the ceiling in the additional room was covered with a large piece of a textile blanket so could not figure out why. - the door hinge in one of the cupboard was broken - The TV was a waste of space as it was not working in our room. Also no TV in communal area ☹️ Unfortunately the accommodation we have been given was not as described on the booking.com therefore we rate it as poor.

The Riad’s location is perfect as it is close to everything (about 8 mins walk to taxi pick up locations). We had a small room with 3 beds but it was already enough for us. It has a big closet which our clothes and baggages were kept inside. It was very cozy as well. The breakfast is so amazing. The staff are very nice and attentive. They would always help you as much as they can.
Cons: The power supply seems to be unstable. There were times our lights would flicker especially when the AC is on. The internet isnt that stable as well especially inside our room. Multiple times we’d get disconnected.

The entire Riad is absolutely beautiful! We had a very large room at the top of the stairs near the terrace and we absolutely loved it! Our A/C units worked perfectly and everything about the room was well situated. The bathroom was set up very nicely and the shower was roomy enough for my tall husband. We really enjoyed sitting on the Terrace in the evenings and we also enjoyed the pool one very hot afternoon. The breakfasts were very good (great coffee) and eggs too! We especially appreciate the kindness and care from our hosts. They took care of anything we needed. Thank you again for making our Marrakech visit so wonderful!

One staff was an absolute sweetheart (sorry, name forgotten due to delay of doing this review), but several were careless (not responding to knocking on door, letting phone ring on loud repeatedly at night with sound carrying to upper floors and loud talking with guests late at night. Most staff came off as fake, repeating the same comments and questions to guests with no care for a response.Breakfast was ok, but quality of products was mediocre/poor (I liked the olives 😋). Nice room, but not up to the price paid.

This stay exceeded our expectations. The room was as described, spacious and clean. The bed was really comfy, and the air-con kept us cool in the hot weather. The breakfast was delicious and so generous (I loved the M'semen especially!). But most of all, what makes this Riad really special is the staff. We were really made to feel at home. The guys were so friendly, and always happy to chat. They arranged airport transport for us too. I'd recommend arranging this, especially for arrival, as it can be hard to find your way around the Medina at first. Once we got to the Riad, we were given a map, and the host Mohammed explained everything and gave us lots of tips on what to see, while Omar served us delicious Moroccan mint tea. Thank you all for making our stay so special. We hope to come back one day.

Staff is very friendly, we arrived late at night and were very hungry, so they managed to make us a simple snacks very quickly. Riad is very beautiful, has roof top terrasse. All rooms view the inner hall of the riad, not the street. This is good because no noise from the street disturbs you, but at the same time light and noise from the riad (breakfast preparation, other guests coming for breakfast) is not very convenient and may disturb your morning sleep.

We had such an amazing stay at Riad Alma! The room was always clean and the beds were comfy. Each morning we were greeted with a delicious breakfast served with Moroccan tea/coffee and some juice! It was so peaceful in the downstairs area of the Riad, along with the rooftop. The staff at the Riad were always attentive and very friendly, giving us a map of Marrakesh upon arrival and even offering their recommendations of where to sightsee. 24/7 there was always someone available at reception which made us feel very safe. Lastly, transportation to and from the airport can be arranged through the Riad. We really recommend doing this, it was very helpful and also saved us a lot of time! Overall the experience was 10/10. Thank you Riad Alma, We hope to be back soon :)

We stayed in this riad for 5 nights and in this time we truly felt like it was home. The main courtyard and terrace was beautiful and was a stunning setting for our breakfasts and chilled nights. The decor was traditionally Moroccan which really made us feel immersed in the culture. The location of this Riad is fab!!! To get to the Riad you have to take a small side street off one of the busy souks, but because it is removed from the Main Street it felt safer and was quieter. The hammam experience was lovely and personal as you were in a room one on one with an expert masseuse, which made for a really relaxing and peaceful hammam bath and massage. What truly made this Riad beautiful was the staff. From the moment we got picked up from the airport to the kind man who carted our luggage we immediately felt at ease. Then we met our hosts who understand hospitality like a fine art. We were welcomed like family whenever we came to and from the riad. We laughed and talked like old friends and found they were all so open about discussing their lives. All of this kindness was coupled with an expert attention to detail and listening to our needs - their recommendations for restaurants and activities were unmatched. WhatsApp messages were responded to promptly and clearly which we were so grateful for being in such an unfamiliar environment.

We really liked the Riad for many reasons: great rooftop area, comfortable spacious room, pool for cooling off, good services, very central, quiet and easy to find. The staff was great. They went above and beyond to offer assistance, information about the area, they were welcoming and helpful.
Cons: The room could use a fan or a little more ventilation (there were no windows to the outside). It would be good to know in advance that water bottles cost extra. Maybe I should have known this, but it would be nice to be told.

It's just as lovely as the photos show. The roof terrace is really nice too. It's in a good location if you want to be right in the Medina. Very safe place for a solo woman traveller. The staff were lovely. It was good value for money.

The place is beautiful, the location couldn't be better and the breakfast is great, but definitely the best part of this riad is the staff, they are all smiley, really helpful and just amazing! Thank you to Mohamed and the other two nice guys at the reception whose names I didn't catch, as well as the cleaning staff, but especially big thumbs up to Jawad! He's a bright happy soul. Thank you all for making our stay unforgettable! We'll definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Marrakech ❤️

In the centre of the Medina, down a side street off the main Souk and behind a heavy Ali Baba door lies the Riad Alma Mouassine. Once inside, you enter the magical palace perhaps once belonging to some long dead rich merchant. Greeted first with a traditional mint tea we were then shown to our room at the top of the hotel, with its own terrace area. The hotel is only a few minutes walk away from the main square – Jamaa el Fna which in the evening turns into sea of juice stalls. eating stalls, snake charmers, drummers, jugglers and everything Moroccan. Here you can join locals and tourists and eat at the stalls on wooden benches extremely cheaply (£6-£10), choosing from a range of excellent meat or chicken Tagines, fried fish. Vegetable cous-cous and much more. The Souks feel very safe now, the Tourist Police have done wonders over the years to stop extreme pestering and crime. (Although you still have to be sensible as you would anywhere you go on holiday.) Our first night at the Riad we were served salads, pastries and a delicious Tagine. Also, having laid the table beautifully downstairs they happily moved everything up to our terrace so we could eat in the coolness of the evening under the stars. The Riad has a main roof terrace above ours, with views across the roofs of Marrakech. Despite the wonderful décor of the place the real stars of the holiday were the staff. Particularly Yohan (Call me John) and Fadel. They were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and they kept us supplied with beer, wine, teas and coffees as well as brining our breakfasts all the way up to our terrace every morning. I think it is fair to say that these two in particular elevated our stay from enjoyable to unforgettable. Marrakech is not for the feint-hearted – lots of walking, lots of lights and people and stalls and bustle but very very interesting.

Jawad, Fadel and Mohamed were fantastic hosts. They were so helpfull and genuinely friendly. The Riad is very nice with a large roof terrace area and ideally located in the heart of the Medina yet in a very quiet side street.

Staff were suberb and made for a great stay. Breakfast was downstairs and good spread of breads with jam, cheese, and Almond butter. Staff served wine on the roof terrace which was great for a rest after the bustle of town. Location very handy. Transfers all worked well.
Cons: Slight mix up on the rooms but worked out ok.

Mohamed, the hotel manager was exceptional. He made sure our needs were taken cared of. A warm welcome with tea and snacks on arrival. He helped us how to stay safe, secure our transportation and was available for any questions. The hotel is centrally located and walking distance to Jemaa el Fna

really nice place with nice rooftop terrace looking over Medina The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. from helping to navigate around, booking taxes to friendly chat. Also breakfast was very generous and delicious
Cons: a bit of nice coming from the little pool area as we were located just next to it (but if you don’t intend to sleep during the day, this is not a bit issue and might very exceptional case).
