A localização era ótima, muito perto da Medina, de uma praça de táxis, de um ATM e de vários cafés e restaurantes. Os funcionários, especialmente o Ismail e a Sanah, muito disponíveis e simpáticos, sempre solícitos e preocupados. A meio da nossa estadia um de nós tinha o joelho bastante inchado e o Ismail prontificou-se, rapidamente, para fazer uma massagem com óleos com propriedades analgésicas. (Acabou por não acontecer, resolvemos ir à farmácia, que também era muito perto). Todos os dias nos davam dicas do que fazer na cidade indicando as melhores rotas ou caminhos a evitar. Como a nossa reserva incluía meia pensão, jantamos praticamente todos os dias na Riad. No dia em que não jantamos foi-nos oferecida a possibilidade de fazermos o almoço. Contudo, as opções não eram muito variadas, mas as que havia, eram muito bem confeccionadas e preparadas com cuidado. Uma delícia. No dia em que chegamos o quarto tinha sido preparado com cuidado, muito limpo (aliás, durante dois dias só cheirava a desinfetante!). Ótimo!
Cons: Nos quartos não há secador de cabelo. Sempre que necessitava dele tinha de o pedir e, por vezes, esperar que outros hóspedes o devolvessem. As camas podiam ser mais confortáveis. Não há limpeza / arrumação dos quartos durante a estadia, a menos que a peçamos, mas isso foi-nos avisado logo à chegada. Quando a solicitamos o quarto foi arrumado e limpo. Não há pagamento por multibanco o que nos obrigou a levantar cash no Atm para pagar os consumos extras e as taxas municipais, o que se traduziu em mais custos devidos às comissões bancárias. Como a nossa marcação foi feita pelo Booking, não nos passaram fatura, alegando que só quando receberem da Booking o irão fazer, retirando a comissão de 20% da Booking. (Reservei e paguei em novembro, avisam que só no final de de<embro ou janeiro me passarão a fatura). Inaceitável, pois pagamos um valor e temos direito ao documento fiscal que comprove a totalidade do mesmo, ainda para mais porque se tratou de uma viagem da empresa. Continuamos à espera que alguém nos passe o documento.

Lo staff molto gentile e disponibile; sono arrivato in anticipo rispetto all'orario di check-in e mi è stata offerta la colazione, mettendomi subito a mio agio e facendomi accedere alla camera prima del previsto. Al check-out mi hanno permesso di lasciare i bagagli in reception. La struttura si trova in una posizione strategica, proprio alle porte dei suq e, nonostante la centralità, è ben isolata dai rumori esterni.
Cons: Sarebbe comodo qualche gancio appendi abiti in camera e il phon in bagno, che comunque viene fornito su richiesta.

Cons: The property was dirty, the room was damp, the cleaners were shamelessly hanging up our dirty towels when we would leave them on the floor to be replaced, the bed was uncomfortable, our room wasn’t cleaned, no fresh toilet rolls were left for us, bed wasn’t made up…we were left to it completely. The breakfast was also very basic and not tasty nor filling. The stay here completely ruined my holiday.

Cons: Avoid this Riad at all costs. It’s extremely disrespectful and noisy, especially due to the female staff who constantly engage in loud conversations, laughing, and shouting while working—particularly the front desk lady, who appears to be the supervisor with a very bad attitude. I spent 2 nights in this Riad and initially intended to extend my stay, but I couldn’t wait to leave. At checkout, I gave friendly feedback to the supervisor lady about the noise and discomfort, expecting acknowledgment or at least an apology. Instead, she began arguing and displaying disrespectful behaviour, stating that I should have expected noise because my room was next to the kitchen. She then rudely refused to allow me to leave my luggage in storage, despite having already agreed earlier that I could leave it there for an hour. I took my luggage with me, as I would not trust her with my belongings anyway. As I stepped out, she slammed the Riad door angrily while swearing, which was extremely disrespectful and unexpected. Her behaviour reflected hostility rather than hospitality and does not represent Moroccan hospitality at all. I am a full-time traveller and have visited 89 countries, and I have never encountered such unprofessional behaviour in a hospitality setting. She appears poorly trained and lacks basic respect for guests, which will inevitably damage the business’s reputation. To be fair, the male staff were respectful, and I appreciated their service.

Das Riad ist sehr schön und geräumig. Das Frühstück auf Terrasse war mehr als ausreichend, jedoch sehr süß, also klassisch marokkanisch/ französisch. Nachts war es ruhig.
Cons: Eine Nickerchen zu machen oder sich übertags auszuruhen ist unmöglich. Die Akustik ist sehr schlecht und das Personal oder auch andere Gäste unterhalten sich vor der Zimmertür im Innenhof. Vielleicht schalt es auch in dem Innenhof. Nachts war es jedoch angenehm ruhig.

Cons: El personal que me atendió, quería cobrarnos el triple por las excursiones. Le pedimos compartir un taxi pagando 25€ que nos cobraban y a las otras personas le cobraron 28€ . No quiso que sacará el traductor para explicarme bien ya que no nos entendemos y en la página pone que 25€ son 4 personas. Teníamos prisa y no quería que compartieras taxi. Nos tocó la habitación de al lado de la piscina y el personal del riad que tiene la cocina al lado no nos dejó descansar hablando alto y ruidos constantes.

Cons: Dommage que le personnel ne fasse pas respecter le silence à l’intérieur du Riad. Certains pensionnaires se croient seuls et parlent comme en plein jour le soir tard. Aussi, les chambres proches du monte plat sont réveillées tôt le matin entre 7h et 7h30 quand le personnel commence à préparer le petit déjeuner.

Cons: Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht, aber nur ein sehr kleines Zimmer erhalten. Dies war bei Booking als Doppelzimmer tituliert, im Hotel als Einzelzimmer. Wir haben’s dann so nehmen müssen, weil nichts anderes mehr frei war!

A localização do Riad era incrível pois ficava a 1 min a pé de um dos pontos de recolha da maioria das excursões. Além da excelente localização, a simpatia de todo o staff foi além de tudo aquilo que esperávamos. Sentimos que éramos parte da família. Tiveram imensa atenção a tudo que precisávamos especialmente no que diz respeito aos horários das refeições.

I loved the pool, the rooms are comfy and decent facilities. Its well located on the edge of the pedestrianised areas so you don't have to walk too far if dropped off by taxi while other riads you often have to walk very far.

We had a lovely stay here, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and the location is perfect. Breakfast was tasty and rooms were clean and comfy. If we ever come back to Marrakech we will defo stay here again.
Cons: Only small problem for us was that there was no fridge in the room, but they do have a vending machine in the reception so this isn’t a massive issue.

Riad muy agradable, ubicado en la Medina y a 15-20 minutos de la plaza Jema el Efna. Las habitaciones son amplias y las camas muy cómodas. Sirven un desayuno muy rico en la terraza. El personal es súper amable y hace muy agradable la estancia.

I’d like to emphasize that my stay in Marrakesh was absolutely astonishing and wonderfully authentic. I stayed in a riad, which is a traditional Moroccan home with a water pool inside, beautiful decor, and authentic furniture. One of the highlights was that breakfast and dinner were served on the rooftop of the building, which is a traditional Moroccan custom and considered very luxurious. The staff were extremely polite and welcoming, doing everything they could to make my stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. On the day of my checkout, they even offered me breakfast an hour earlier than usual. Overall, I’m really grateful to all the people there for making it such an authentic and memorable experience in Marrakesh.

We requested taxi service to the airport and it was excellent. Finally, the pool is very cleaned and so beautiful, this riad is truly beautiful. Nous avons passé une semaine au riad. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par l'équipe qui a été aux petits soins. Les petits déjeuners étaient copieux et les dîners délicieux, le tout fait maison ! Le personnel est disponible et à l'écoute, nous avons apprécié avoir des recommandations sur les lieux à visiter. La chambre était propre, le riad est un lieu calme au milieu de l'agitation de la Médina. Idéalement situé nous avons pu découvrir la ville à pieds.

We stayed at the Riad from 24/02-27/02. The Riad Arbre Bleu is located in the medina but in a quieter area, closer to restaurants and a 20 mins walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa square. It cost 30 Dirhams to the train station by taxi. The taxis are readily available to go to the airport/train station etc right around the corner. Some of the taxi drivers may refuse to turn on the meter but you will be able to negotiate a price to the airport. The riad is clean, well maintained, excellent Wi-Fi. The room is comfortable, good shower and we had the Moroccan breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you to all the staff for all your help while we were there.
Cons: Nothing. I would recommend including some fruits for breakfast.

Cons: Our room was in the lobby floor exactly in front of the area that is used as a restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Between a table and our actual room door there was a meter space so it felt like we were having dinner with the people outside as well. The bed-sheets were also a little uncomfortable to sleep in and there was no door to separate the sleeping part to the bathroom which coul be awkward.

Very pretty and clean room in a traditional Moroccan riad. The WiFi works well and the shower has hot water throughout the day. The hotel welcomed us in Marrakech and provided us with airport transfer that was very convenient. The transport was EUR 20 although I found other providers offering airport transfer services for the same distance for EUR 13.
Cons: They don't give you keys for the main door and sometimes you have to ring the bell for minutes to get someone to let you in or out - especially early in the morning or post midnight. The location is not super central and it takes you around 15 minutes to walk back, but this is not really a problem - the location is super safe.

We had a really nice stay at this Riad. It's very well located within the Medina (so rather not possible to go there by car) but when inside offers a quiet and peaceful counterpart to the rest of the Medina. With Google Maps we also had no difficulties finding the place. We especially enjoyed sitting on the rooftop terrace and the very good breakfast. We also had some great conversations with Ismael and Yassin over tea in the evening which we really enjoyed!
Cons: We stayed there in January and while there was heating in place i believe the place is even more comfortable when it is a bit warmer outside.

The riad was in a great location and the staff were really helpful too. Beds were comfy and room clean. Breakfast was nice, freshly made, though I would have appreciated some fresh fruit with it.
Cons: The only downside is that due to the internal windows with only wooden shutters, noise travels easily through the Riad into your room. However I believe this would be the case in any Riad and it didn't spoil our enjoyment of the stay. I'd still chose this place again!

Cons: - We had one of the worst rooms given. Second floor, and then we go two floors down from the terrace. With so much luggage and toddler, this property is not recommended for family or with kids, I only realized after reaching this riad. - The room was next to the main street, whole night we heard zooming of the vehicles and people chit chatting. It was not peaceful at all. - Water has to be drained to get hot shower. It was very irritating the extremely slow and low pressure water. Couldnt even bathe my toddler with that amount of water. - Found the male staff bit pushy when asked about taxi for the airport, and they were too keen on we should only book with them. - We wanted to extend one more night for another room we had book, but they dont have this option. I think this is more of Marrakech things when it comes to Riad, they only accept Booking.com. They told us no first and then they had to check with the owner who sits in another country and then decide. So not easy and not straight forward.

The location of this riad was perfect. Not too far from the souks, but in a quiet location from hearing the traffic. We arrived late on our first evening, and we were so pleased that we arranged pick up from the airport with the riad. They arranged the taxi to meet us and a member of staff was waiting for us on the street near our accommodation, to escort us to the riad safely. The staff at the place went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. As a group everyone wanted a special mention to go to Sunana and Ishmael, they couldn't be more helpful, and extremely friendly. We were all disappointed that we didn't get a chance to say goodbye to Ishmael. The riad was very clean and tidy. Their mint tea was one of the best in marrakech. It is worth trying a meal at the riad, their tajine is delicious. The breakfast every morning was a perfect start to our day. Very filling, and always fresh. would definitely come back and recommend this place to friends. 10/10

They did a bunch of our dirty laundry, and accommodated our multiple requests, for hot water and milk for our tea. It is also within the Jama el-Fana market square. The kids loved the pool. My son got stung by a bee in the local area, and the riad staff promptly offered an antiseptic spray.
Cons: Breakfast was largely comprised of carbs - breads and cakes. Eggs were offered only once during our stay. There were no fruits or proteins served. Overall fresh breakfast items

Cons: Edit: the owner harassed me on my personal phone after I left a bad review (5 calls + SMS within a few hours) days after our stay until I blocked him and reported his behaviour to Booking, who said they would take measures. Absolutely insane We made a call to the hotel to change one room of our 4-room booking three days in advance and were told that it was possible by staff, who asked us to just send the request so it could be confirmed. They were polite. Then the owner, who manages the riad from abroad and leaves everything to staff, refused our request with a super arrogant email. He told us we should be "ashamed of ourselves" when we said we were unhappy with this double decision and his tone and would leave a review as such. Save yourselves 😂

The owner was extremely hostile, and even tried to make us change rooms during our 3 day stay booked 6 weeks in advance and refused any modification requests. He is not even on site but manages the hotel from abroad so communication is difficult - we even had trouble on our last day as the staff told a pickup we arranged that we had already left. There was no electricity on the last night and we got no explanation or breakfast although other riads next door did have electricity. Some staff are very cordial but others are just as hostile as the owner. First time I had such a negative experience, support another business!

The pool was cold so I just sat with my feet in. As with all Riads, the pool is located in the central area so all the other guests will be walking past so some people may feel awkward to swim in there. But that is the traditional design and it is truly a beautiful place.
Cons: It is located down a side street that is completely unmarked and empty. I felt safe when I was in the property, but I felt uncertain as a solo female walking down an empty, unmarked narrow street as I was unsure if it was the right street.

This is a fab riad in an ideal location to walk to the main souk and attractions (15mins once you learn the route). It's also v close to the more quieter places north of the souk - a great area to explore. The riad and staff were excellent. The ever present Ismail, who is always smiling, is a star. Nothing too minor and always seeking to help. The room we had, Toubkal, was really nice, quiet and away from the classic riad set up. We are very happy with the room. The food, we were half board, was excellent. Yes, limited in choice but what we had was tasty, reflective of local cuisine and plentiful. We would have no hesitation to stay here again.

Cons: Don't book the 20 euro cab from the airport. Ours didn't turn up and, despite the manager promising our onward transfer would be free, there was a whole argument about what who was to pay what which left a nasty tarnish on our otherwise lovely stay. Best not to get involved and book through Booking.com instead as it would probably be cheaper. Or the local taxi's are also much cheaper than 'tourist' taxis.

I have booked entire riad to celebrate my birthday and invited my friends over. The rooms were clean and riad itself was corresponding to pictures shown. The staff was super friendly and always very helpful. Everyone greeted us with a warm welcome and gave us hugs leaving. It felt very comfortable and cosy. The food that I have chosen from their menu was freshly made because all ingredients bought fresh from the market. Everything on the menu was very tasty and delicious.
Cons: Shampoo was not provided unless I did not know and it was 2 in 1. Also as we bought all the white wine the first night, they did not stock more and guests could not order any more white one for the next two days, but there were other options obviously the menu. Also maybe get view more irons and hair dryers as was not enough for a big group like ours. These are just small details where they could improve on.

Loved the traditional interiors and the welcoming feel of this Riad. They treat you like family! The pool is so pretty in the evening and perfect for some great pictures! The dinner is really good - Imaan’s chicken tajine is amazing😍👌🏼and Ismail makes sure you are taken care of always! We will definitely be coming back!

Riad staff was very welcoming and helpful; I loved the roof top, it was nice to chill there in the early morning sun & late afternoon (sadly no views) with some mint tea. Riad's location was great, very close to souks and easy to navigate when walking / travel by taxi. I had a great night sleep on most of the nights.
Cons: The ground floor room made it susceptible to all the noises in the main area of the riad - especially in the event of early breakfast / late dinner from a chatty group of travellers (not something that staff could really help with), apart from that it was a great value for money.

Cons: I did not see after confirmation that you need to pay cash as booking is direct deducting from my credit card, so I asked them if it was an error , direct they start to talk with to , that is is not correct bla-bla-bla, I had to show all my booking via the app so to approve them that it is always like that ,after I went to get money they charged me extra file fee , they should refund me on my money some dirham that is was I have no change… , when I ask for a receipt they told me that the boss was not there they could not give , really I would not go to this riad ,

The property was beautiful. The rooftop offered relaxing quiet and candlelit dinners. The room was clean and bright. The staff was accommodating except one male who was physically aggressive and made MY stay uncomfortable. .
Cons: The wifi and power went out the first night. I work at night and lost a day of work. The staff person who was physically aggressive massaged my shoulders every time he saw me. He told me how cute I was. He pulled me into the staircase and tried to kiss me, and when I declined he called me crazy and told me I didn’t know what I was missing. I had to deal with that everyday he was there and I smiled my way through it. He also slapped my face (playfully) and I slapped him back. I don’t remember what provoked him, but under no circumstances should he feel so comfortable in my four day stay that he can slap me.

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Arbre bleu. Even during the earthquake our incredible host Ibrahim stayed completely cool and welcoming. We felt like home. The breakfast was amazing and the friendly staff even washed our clothes for us. Despite the earthquake Marrakesh now is still totally worth a visit and most of the Medina especially the area around the Riad remained safe. We would always come back. The riad and the rooftop were very nice. room/ bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great. I also arranged a massage here, which was excellent. (Rashida) We had some trouble with the nearby parking- with a scammer (and the parking attendant watched/allowed it to happen) this isn't the Riad's fault- and the staff was very helpful, and went back with us to try to help us deal with it. It would help if directions were given on how to find the parking, and what to look for / who to pay and where you might find them. We found this to be the case with most places we stayed- so this is just general advice. If you're driving- ask for specifics about parking.

The location was great for getting around Marrakesh, the Riad being right next to the souks. We explored most of the attractions on foot but taxis were available nearby. Shops and restaurants were very close, but we were not disturbed by street noise. indeed the neighbourhood was safe & quiet. The staff were lovely, couldn’t have been more helpful.

close to the popular main square and souks. close to other main attractions too, easy for walking - we didn’t use any public transport or taxis. the breakfast was nice too. bed was comfy, air con was good as was the shower. the hosts were super friendly and accommodating. the sun terrace was great for relaxing on. great value for money overall.
Cons: the acoustics in the hotel made it quite loud at times, some tables or chairs were being moved late at night and the noise carried a lot. same for voices etc. the breakfast quality was great however we would’ve liked more fruit/veg and protein in the selection as it included quite a lot of bread.

Cons: The room was very tight. There's no night table and very limited storage space. There were only 3 clothe hangers. There's no real space outside the room to sit comfortably except the breakfast area. I know it's a riad but....! Lastly, the front door was locked during the night and could not be opened without a key - and there was no key in the lock! I had to leave early one morning but could not do so. I shudder to think how the guests and staff could evacuate the building in the event of an emergency such as a fire!! The riad's management/owner, at the least, should leave the key in the lock at night!!

Perfect location with really friendly and helpful staff. Welcomed late evening with tea and biscuits . Wiifii is excellant . Breakfast is basic but fresh and filling . Staff gave advice on prices, keeping safe and were happy to store our bags on the last day. The rooms and hotel are beautiful with an lovely roof top terrace and indoor pool . If staying in summer these would be a great bonus .
Cons: Just a little thing but there is no hairdryer in the room as advertised . Probably could have asked I guess. I would suggest booking an airport transfer in advance as a taxi cant get down the small alley and you may not be dropped in the best place.

Cons: The room was a bit humid and the beds were not very comfortable. We felt like the price was very high for the standard of the accommodation. Of course we were there during Christmas vacation and booked quite late which means we probably didn't get the best deal.

The location of the riad is minutes away from the souks and easy access to the main square and Koutoubia. The hosts were very welcoming! I was able to check in the day after, after breakfast as we arrived late due to 3 hour delay and I was travelling with my young daughter. I found this very helpful as we were both very tired from the stress of the delays. The breakfast is very minimal but very Moroccan style and there is freshly made pancakes and cake every morning. The terrace is also very nice and a nice way to enjoy your morning breakfast.

Cons: We were there for 5 days.We had to book two room because we forget to bring our marriage certificate. In Morocco there is like a rule when u don't have ur certificate u must book separate rooms. That was little bit over the budget but we gotta do what should be done. One the last day I heard the staff talking bad about us in someway. I was so furious and we hade bad experience checking out.

Cons: I booked because of the pool, which turned out to be a tiny basin (about 3m x1.5m) in the middle of the riad. It was ice cold, as the spot didn't receive any sun. Sunbeds are on the roof - second floor. I was really disappointed. Small room. Irritating double doors. Toilet window opens up in the corridor. The bed was made of 2 mattresses, one of which was very uncomfortable

I and my friends had a lovely stay. The staff are very friendly and despite of having difficulty in speaking english, they were trying very hard. The location is great, very close to Medina though the Riad itself is hard to find without a help. Simple breakfast but delicious. They make bed, clean the bathroom and take out the trash every day. During our break from the intense heat of Marrakech, the staff even knocked on our door and offered us tea and cookies! Will definitely recommend this place!

We went to stay at the Riad Arbre Bleu for our 11th wedding anniversary after seeing it on Hotels.com and thinking ‘just the job’ but we returned home to make a massive complaint to Hotels.cim concerning horribly incompetent and abusive staff particularly their driver Abdul towards my wife. No detailed invoice, which are still up yet to receive, no confirmation of tourist tax at the Riad, no credit card facilities, extortionate cost of a city tour, very poor communication with Chris - their representative from outset and also we had to pay for an anniversary card which we returned. Hotels.com are looking into this place very seriously due to the distress and abused we experienced. Personally we don’t tolerate this level of abuse and think that people need to know what could happen if you stay here. The local area is great and we went on a great tour of the Atlas Mountains not booked through this place I hasten to add. Go to Marrakesh but don’t stay here.
