Can’t start writing this review without mentioning the great people who work there. We want to give a huge thanks to Abdel, Malika, Latifa, Zheur, and our great friend Youssef. Every person working there was so kind to us answering all our questions, giving us great recommendations, and overall making us feel safe and at home. The Riad is located within walking distance of everything, and if you need a taxi, there’s a taxi stand just a 3 minute walk away. The Riad looks even better in real life, and the food was absolutely delicious! Overall, this place had a 100% positive impact on our vacation in Marrakech. Thanks a lot to everyone we learned so much and had a great time in Morocco!

Saponi in bagno incredibili.

From the minute we arrived we received a warm welcome to this little oasis tucked away in an alleyway in the northern part of the old Medina. A mixture of old Moroccan and art was evident throughout the riad which gave the place a homely feel. Our superior room was a good size, beautifully decorated and the shower was huge. The Riad has four floors including a rooftop terrace, a third floor breakfast area (where our room was located) and a ground floor with a small but refreshing plunge pool, which was welcome at the end of each day. The Riad is in a very old part of the city and twenty minutes walk to the main square but each route we chose was a mixture of souks or small local businesses which highlighted our adventure.

Betyg: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5

The place was absolutely beautiful, the room was very comfortable we got the bigger room with 2 beds. I cannot say enough about the kindness and excellent services of all staff. The owner, Alan, was always available for everything and anything you may need. Breakfast was very good, assortment of breads and other typical moroccan pastries, and fresh yogurt and fruits, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee was great! On our day back our flight was not until 11 pm so Alan allowed us to stay in the lobby, away from the heat and a midafternoon thunderstorm. The location is great plenty of shops and restaurant nearby with traditional Moroccan food. Just follow the wall!!!! The mint tea is excellent!!! Thank you all for making our stay so special!!!

Everything about this property is excellent. It is in a great location away from the bustle of the streets. It has a lovely staff who go out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast is a traditional Moroccan breakfast with fresh homemade yoghurt and local honey, amongst other things. The rooms a beautifully painted in a traditional style with clean linen provided daily. The staff are always happy to help and use their local knowledge to advise on what to do and where to eat. I recommend this hotel as a great base to explore Marrakesh and its amazing streets. 10 out of 10

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Eloise and couldn't recommend it highly enough. The location was optimal, just a short walk from the souks, with taxi ranks nearby to travel further afield. The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating! We really felt taken care of, with the owner and concierge bending over backwards to make our stay great. We ate at the restaurant for one evening meal which was probably the best meal we had during our whole stay in Marrakech. The breakfast was also delicious. The building has a beautiful roof terrace area with comfortable seating, hammocks and a wide city view. When we return to Marrakech we will definitely be staying here again.

Very clean and good friendly staff.. Great breakfast. walkable distance from Medina. Safe / homely Went as 5 families with kids - youngest 11...
Cons: Pool is small and not heated; but hardly anytime for that given the busy market around. No lifts - so be mindful if you are booking with anyone who may need help climbing stairs. Of course contacting the property to ensure a lower level room might help. All Riads are small houses by definition and I am not sure you will find one in any. Cars stop about 100 meters from this place. Again, they is the nature of old city / Medina. just fyi.. Just plan accordingly - no heavy luggages that you can't drag or carry.

The staff was incredible especially Yousef and Abdel! Very accommodating and helpful- gave us all of the information to make a great stay! Also got our laundry done which was such a relief! I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, who went above and beyond to retrieve an item that I lost in another part of the city. We were so impressed by the kindness and speed of that action! But they were extremely polite, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Otherwise, the rooms and food were lovely, and the roof terrace was delightful.
Cons: The riad was difficult to find, but that is the nature of the Medina! Perhaps a simple specific map to help find the riad would be useful.

The owner and staff were very helpful in arranging drivers and an outing to Essaouria. The roof terraces were very quaint and with great views or the medina. The location was close to the medina withour being in the noise of the medina...our room was very quiet even though we had a big window for fresh air.
Cons: The bathroom door opened into the bathroom which was too small for two people to be in there and open the door at the same time. It would work out so much better if the door opened outwards. There were 3 of us so we could have used 3 towels, not just one or 2. the breakfast was pleasant up on the roof terrace but average food was served; I feel like the breakfast at another riad I've stayed was more elaborate.

Lovingly restored riad in the medina... why stay in hotel which could be anywhere, when you can get an authentic taste of old Marrakesh? Close to everything, but not TOO close so you can escape from the hustle and bustle of the souks. Alain was a most gracious host, with lots of essential advice on navigating the tangle of streets, what to do, and just as important, what not to do. Genuinely friendly and warm staff, Yusuf and Abdel both were happy to help with anything... and in Marrakech, one needs some help, at least the first time. Delicious vegetarian breakfast with homemade cheese, yogurt and breads.

Great and super friendly staff. They agreed to even store my luggage for three days without charge. Always caring and inquiring how the guests are doing. Great breakfast, spacious room (compared to other riad I've stayed). It had robes, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and even air freshener. Also cotton buds and ear cotton buds. A good hot shower. The aircon heater was also working properly..
Cons: A shower could use a curtain, as it was splashing a bit. A little bit more light in the room would be great too as it is a bit twilight.

Breakfast was great! Loved the routine and the ambience. We loved all the cozy books to relax outside of the room. The location was tucked away from the main area but so easy to get to. Our 2yo son had a blast. It was also so helpful to have great guidance on where to go (and not bother).
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like. I think the one thing that could be a tiny improvement is explaining to gets about where to sit for breakfast when they check in. It was clear that each table had the right amount of settings for each room of guests, but so many of them didn’t get it and there would be two guests from one room sitting at a 5 person table, etc. I could see it created more work for staff who is already so busy!

A truly beautiful riad! The breakfast was fresh and delicious, featuring an array of breads, fruits, pastries, and freshly squeezed juices. We stayed in the Blue Room, which was stunning, with a gorgeous terrace overlooking the atrium. Every detail in the decoration was thoughtful and exquisite. The rooftop seating area was lovely, offering both sun and shade, and the refreshing pool was perfect for a quick dip. The hotel owner was warm and friendly, and the entire team were incredibly kind and accommodating (big thanks to Yousef), providing great tips on restaurants, spas, and local attractions. The cleaning staff were lovely as well, and the whole space was impeccably curated. We would highly recommend Riad Eloise to anyone visiting Marrakech.

The location was excellent. Close to restaurants and just 5 mins walk to the souk and 15 mins to the Jema El Fna.. the staff were fab, especially Alain and Yousef..nothing was too much trouble. They kindly arranged an airport transfer as we were arriving late. Breakfast on the terrace was great.. would definitely stay again and recommend it..
Cons: Room was a little dark but this is due to windows facing into courtyard. It is the style of Riads. But lots of nice bright seating areas in other parts of the Riad..

Don't bother with the flashy hotels, you can stay in those anywhere. Book Riad Eloise for the best, most relaxing stay in Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, very, very late, due to problems with the BA flight, we have been treated with nothing but kindness, particularly from Youssef, who, within the space of ten minutes, cooked us the meal that we should have eaten several hours before, not to forget the riad's owner, Alain and Muhammed, who were so incredibly kind and welcoming. The female staff were also very friendly. Everyone seems to be happy to work there, which is a good sign. The kindness of the staff has been noted elsewhere and it isn't an understatement. The room was lovely, with a border of camels lighting up the edge of the ceiling to various Moroccan features and decorations. There are plenty of plug sockets and mirrors in the right places. The bathroom is built with traditional materials and the brass fittings that you see for sale in the souks. The rooms downstairs and the terrace upstairs are comfortable and relaxing. The cleanliness, mentioned in previous reviews, is excellent. We didn't use the gym or the little pool. We didn't see anyone else trying them either but despite them being a reason for booking, after hours of walking around Marrakech I wasn't up for further activity. The breakfast was delicious, with a selection of breads, pancakes, spreads, fruit, yoghurt and some of the best honey I have tasted. To make it even better, they have a cat! We haven't tried other riads or hotels (except for afternoon tea at La Mamounia) but if we come back we will book Riad Eloise again.

It was exceptional! From the location to the facilities, breakfast and most importantly the staff were fantastic. Alain and his wife who own this beautiful Riad made us so welcome as did Youssef who looked after us. The attention to detail and the copious hot water and the lounge area on the roof was brilliant. It was great, Very tasty breakfast set us up for the day. The pool was a God Send to cool off during 35+ degree days. Shouk is on your door step 5 minute walk. Staff were so helpful throughout and especially when our taxi didn't arrive at 4am a staff member came out onto the street with us to arrange a new one.

We were so pleased with Riad Eloise and the amazing staff. We can’t thank Alain and the staff enough for not only making sure we were comfortable and taken care of, but going above and beyond. They even fixed my wall plug that stopped working during the trip without me asking. The room was great and had AC. We enjoyed the breakfast and the scenic views from the rooftop. The host made sure to give us lots of information about Marrakesh and places to visit. We would definitely recommend this place as female-friendly (we were 2 girls and felt very safe). Would definitely come back.

Lovely colourful Riad, friendly welcoming & helpful staff, gorgeously cool pool, breakfast on the roof, away from the tourists, close to grocery shops & the best baguettes, & the Riad cat.
Cons: Room was smallish, but adequate. Some of the surrounding areas/back streets weren't great (dodgy & dusty) - but not the Riad's fault.

Very close to the souks and a couple of lovely restaurants. The owner , Allan was particularly helpful and informative, he organised a hot balloon ride for us which we paid at the end of our stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The terrace was lovely to soak up some sun, the sipping pool was a real treat when the weather was very hot.It was very quiet and relaxing. The room was lovely and air con was very efficient. Having the airport transfers which was organised by Allan was good as we would of never have found the riad on our own. All in all a wonderful experience.
Cons: The breakfast service was sometimes slow. The lighting at night on the terrace wasn’t on so you couldn’t see where you were stepping. Also there was no lighting on the stairs on the second floor.

Absolutely fantastic wee Riad. Alain was a charming helpful host and Abdel was a credit to the hotel. Everything we needed they helped us with - including early breakfast before our trip to the mountains. The dinner we had when we arrived was really tasty, a bit expensive but worth it for the convenience of arriving late. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: The water pressure and temp at times could leave things to be desired but they are in the middle of the drought so probably the same everywhere. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs - the riad is right in the centre (which is amazing) and near a mosque so you there will be some noise during the night and you will hear the call to prayer early in the morning. Didn't bother us as we sleep like logs.

Our stay at this charming oasis in Marrakech was nothing short of exceptional. Alan, our gracious host, truly went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived Iit's like stepping into a cozy labyrinth of Moroccan beauty. The Riad boasts stunning views, with its rooftop terrace offering a picturesque glimpse of the city's skyline. Each room has its unique charm and character. Each morning, we were treated to a delciious spread of Moroccan delicacies, fresh juices and sauces. Alan's hospitality was unparalleled. He provided us with a map and valuable recommendations, helping us navigate the vibrant streets of Marrakech. His willingness to assist with organizing trips and excursions, and even arranging transportation to and from the airport, made our stay all the more convenient and stress-free. We were a group of five, staying in two rooms, and the Riad accommodated us perfectly. The plunge pool was a refreshing oasis, impeccably clean and inviting after a day of exploration. The Riad's location in a residential area ensured our safety, even during nighttime walks. The locals were always eager to guide us and lend a helping hand when needed, making us feel truly welcome in Marrakech. The Riad's proximity to a tourist point for cabs and excursions was a bonus, just a short 5-minute walk away. Additionally, one of the entrances to the medina was less than a 15-minute stroll from the Riad, making it incredibly convenient for exploring this historic part of the city. Even transportation to and from the airport was a breeze, thanks to the Riad's ability to arrange affordable transfers. There is Abdul who covers the night shifts who opens and lets you in the Riad and is very helpful. In summary, our stay at this Riad was an amazing experience, and we owe much of it to Alan and the team's warm hospitality. Thank you!

The Riad was so beautiful and comfortable! the tile work everywhere is gorgeous and the rooftop terrace overlooks the city—breakfast on the terrace was a wonderful experience. the staff were super helpful! they provided maps with details on how to get around the Medina and were very accommodating. we ordered the dinner for our first evening and it was excellent—lemon and olive tajine and couscous. The Riad is inside the Medina with a short walk to restaurants and shopping. It was also very safe for my 23 year old daughter and me walking around on our own.

We had a very good time in this Riad. We got a lot of good advices, the people working there are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good organised and very tasteful, with some explainations on what we were served and the company of the cat. The room was not big but big enough, very well decorated and very comfortable. A little minus for the door of the nathroom which didn't open completely. Wifi works nicely. The small pool in the middle court is very nice for a little bathing at the end of the day. The Riad is insinde the Medina, so be aware that it can be loud in the evening. We didn't feel insecure at any moment and enjoyed the stay at the Riad Eloise very much!! I didn't take a lot of fotos because I take more videos.

The breakfast was delicious. Very fresh and lovely fresh bread, bakery and cakes. The manager Abdel was so helpful and kind. The riad was beautifully and authentically decorated. The room was lovely with a huge bed and a good shower. My daughter and I felt very safe and looked after.
Cons: The description on booking.com was inaccurate in two small details. It said the Koutoubia mosque was 100 metres away when it was half an hour's walk, and that the Jemma el Fna was 10 minutes away when it was 20 minutes. I think this was Booking.com's fault as Expedia had the correct distances. We did realise this before we arrived so it didn't impact our enjoyment at all. This is comment for Booking.com and not a criticism of the Riad or Abdel.

The Riad Eloise is a beautiful hotel located a short walk away from all of the museums and resteraunts in the old part of Marrakech close to the medina centre. Me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed staying in this hotel for a week, the experience was very personal and the hosts and staff were friendly and polite. A special mention needs to be given to Abdel, who was our host throughout the holiday working all hours due to absence of other hosts. Despite this the service offered was second to none, he would always give us good recommendations and went the extra mile to help us with bookings, maps etc. The breakfast served is good and the hotel is very clean with all the amenities you need. Despite there being an earthquake during our stay we still managed to enjoy everything that was previously planned, it did not stop us from doing any activity nor exploring the city (damage is mainly in high Atlas Mountains). Although there is minimal damage in the median area it is nothing to be concerned about so don’t let this change your decision to go to Marrakesh, especially as the locals and hotels rely heavily on tourism for their income. Overall I highly recommend staying in the Riad Eloise, a hidden gem that takes you to a relaxing escape away from the hustle and bustle of the city!

A hidden gem located behind a golden door at the end of an alley way. Don’t let that put you off, what lies beneath is exquisite and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. The welcome mint tea and cookies as well as the breakfast was a beautiful touch - everything homemade! The owner even organised a Birthday package to offer my mum with for her 70th.
Cons: The only comment I’d need to make here is that there’s no disability access for anyone with mobility issues. A fair few stairs - but if I didn’t say that I’d have nothing to say. This place is a 10!

We recently had the most extraordinary stay at Riad Eloise. From the moment we arrived, we was greeted with exceptional warmth and hospitality by Alain and his wife, Abdul Rahim, and the entire team. Their attention to detail and genuine care for every guest truly set this experience apart. The Riad's ambiance was enchanting, a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan design and modern comforts. Alain's recommendations for local attractions and restaurants were spot-on, making our stay even more memorable. Abdul Rahim's impeccable service and friendly demeanor made us feel like a cherished guest throughout our time there. The entire team's dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was evident in every interaction. Quite convenient location about 5 min walk from Place Riad Laarous (where you can catch taxis). Abdel was extremely courteous and kind - there was a problem with the water in my room, and he came in and tried to fix it, and made other arrangements when he couldn’t fix it. Alain was also a great host and got the problem fixed asap. I always got a friendly welcome home whenever I returned from my outings, which was so nice!
Cons: Though it was out of Alain’s control, I did have to shower in a different (vacant) room one night because there was a problem with the hot water in my room. Otherwise, everything about the service, cleanliness, etc. was perfect.

Cons: Breakfast was lovely, however a side option was to add on eggs, yet when I asked for them they said they didn't have them available. Also, they were very gratious and did a load of laundry but then later told us it was $15 euros. So that was unexpected.

Vous êtes rares et précieux je vous souhaite toute la réussite que vous méritez amplement. the staff was helpful. there is a small pool for a dip (you can’t swim in it though). the rooftop is quite nice as well to relax.the staff was really accommodating and served us breakfast in early hours as well to accommodate our timings.
Cons: it was much smaller than what it looked like in the pictures and room we stayed in had very poor lighting. Lovely comfortable Riad close to the medina centre. Highlights were the staff, the roof terrace and the food. We ate in their restaurant one evening and it was the best tagine I had in Marrakech by far. We spent most of one day relaxing in a cabana on the roof terrace with a bottle of wine, which is exactly what we needed after the mayhem that is Marrkech! We stayed in one of the smaller rooms (I think) which was perfect for us. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean with a really nice hot shower. The breakfast on the terrace each morning was excellent. Thanks again Alain and Abdul for your wonderful hospitality and for being so helpful. We will see you again if we are ever able to return. Tucked away in an alley at the north end of the Medina, Riad Eloise is a cozy, beautiful place to stay for a few days. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The owner Alain (a kind Belgian man fluent in English) gave us lots of tips with navigating the medina and haggling for goods. The food was excellent - the beef tajine we had here was our favorite tajine throughout our vacation in Morocco. There is an option to take a cooking class with the chef, which we weren’t able to do for lack of time. The pool, gardening, and rooftop terrace are excellent as well. There is also a house cat named Lula who is curious and gentle and loves to sleep.
Cons: Only con is it’s a tight space, but great for travelers on a budget who want a high value Riad experience! Older reviews complained about the smell - but we did not experience this at all!

The breakfast every morning was delicious. The spaces to relax on the hotel site, outside of the rooms, we're fantastic (roof top seating, hammocks etc). The staff were exceptional and always ready and willing to help, especially Abdel, who was very welcoming and made us feel at ease right away. Cons: Cant say that next time I come to Marrakesh I’ll be staying with Eloise again. The room had no windows, there was no room service, the pool was a lot smaller than what it looks like on the photos. As a woman by myself I was harassed on my way to the riad, verbally and physically. After telling the riad about this and asking to be walked to the taxi stop (3 min walk away) I was told they wouldn’t provide that service and that “I was in morroco”, while all the other riads and restaurants we visited during our stay all without fail insisted on walking us to a taxi and not letting 2 girls walk the streets alone. There was also a lot of miscommunication of prices of taxis with the riad telling us it was 60 dhm and it ending up being double or triple. Very disappointed and do not recommend.

Cons: Nothing... Rien.

All of the hotel staff were exceptional, the location and interior of the hotel were beautiful. Everyone in the hotel was extremely friendly and tolerant of our young children. Within walking distance to all major attractions, breakfast was fantastic. The hotel owner arranged transfers to and from airport and an excursion into the desert with a camel ride and meal which our son loved. We were so well looked after and could not fault our stay.
Cons: Could not fault our stay or the property.

The staff is great, we stayed with them for 6 nights and they helped us day after day. They booked trips for us, gave us guidance through the city and were flexible for things like breakfast. Marrakech is an imposing city, but thanks to Alain and Abdul we were able to enjoy the bustling city day one. Thank you so much!
Cons: It is a riad, so you hear a lot of noises from other people arriving and going and the minarets offcourse.

We had a lovely stay at the traditional Riad Eloise. With only 9 rooms and down a hidden back street (as all the Riads seem to be in the Medina) we had a beautiful room with a comfortable four poster bed and a great Shower / ensuite. From the moment we arrived Alain (the Riad owner) sat us down with a map and gave us solid advice on finding what we needed. The Riad is located over 4 floors I think. Definitely not suitable for anyone with access difficulties, but if you are able the quirky steps all the way to the rooftop, offer you a great sunset view in the evenings. Alcohol is a question we kept asking google about when we were looking to stay somewhere. However, there was no problem with this at all at Riad Eloise. Alain had bottles of wine and beer and would provide them upon request 22 Euros for a bottle of wine and a small beer was about 4 Euros. There is a little pool on the ground floor of the Riad, but I think this is more of a feature rather than a pool to use. We could of used it, but didn't. The breakfast was delightful. Near enough the same thing every morning, with a slight variation on the types of bread and cakes. But basically, freshly squeezed juices, coffee, fresh yoghurt and fresh fruit, followed by breads and spreads. If we go back to Marrakech, we will definitely use Riad Eloise. Thank you Alain and your team for a great stay.

Myself and my mom came to stay at Riad Eloise for a 5 day trip in Marrakesh. I cannot begin to express how lovely the staff are here and how welcomig they make you feel, In particular owner Alan and Abdul. From start to finish we were made feel very welcome and nothing was ever a hassle. The location is very central but off on a queit side street so plenty of peace when you come back from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. The breakfest served every morning was wonderful. If you stay here, you will not regret it. If we ever come back to Marrakesh - we would book Riad Eloise again.

There was nothing not to like about this beautiful Riad and the friendly, helpful owners. They went out of their way to make our stay a superb experience, from the delicious mint tea to welcome us, to organising our return taxi and printing off boarding passes. The riad is beautifully decorated and the breakfast each morning was delicious and beautifully presented. This is the only place to stay in Marrakech, don’t hesitate to book, you won’t be disappointed!
Cons: Nothing!!

Breakfasts provided every day were delicious and plentiful. Hosts were very accommodating to two of our group of 10 who had dietary concerns around dairy allergy and gluten intolerance. Breakfasts were on the upper-level terrace and all the kids had great fun navigating the various ways to the roof. The resident cat was a great attraction too and daily cooling dips in the pool were greatly appreciated by all.
Cons: The door entry into the bathrooms were a little challenging for a couple of the larger members of our group.

Alain was a great host - he was very hospitable, made you feel very welcome and was very accommodating as he changed one of our rooms for us due to a lack of air conditioning. Abdel was very friendly, helpful and courteous. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean.
Cons: Unfortunately the location was in a run down residential area and there was a lot of noise at night from outside the property. During our three night stay we found 3 cockroaches across two nights. Fortunately, Abdel was night duty, came and promptly dealt with them.

My family of 5 stayed in this breathtaking Riad June 26th - June 30th 2021.it was amazing felt like we were in paradise. The overall feeling you get is like a spa feeling even the birds in the morning singing for you. It was a slice of paradise. The owner Alain went above and beyond for my family. My son with Autism was included in everything and Alían was Awsome dealing with a special needs guest. Even had treats of candy for my son. In the morning you are greeted by a fresh homemade beautiful breakfast. My family had the most relaxing amazing 4 days in this diamond in the rough hidden Gem. I highly recommend this Riad to everyone who wants a great experience. My family will definitely be going back ❤️❤️

Cosnigliatissimo!

Alain and Anima are very friendly and helpful hosts. We had a cooking class with Anima which was fun and interesting as we shopped in her local market. We had a standard room which is very small (barely room for one suitcase). We would suggest a larger room if you plan to stay more than 1 night. Mattress could be improved with a topper. The rooftop terrace is comfortable to spend a quiet afternoon or evening. Lovely little Riad but could use a little TLC. A little out of the way but we felt safe enough.

Honestly, I was expecting more from the place and price. The riad is hidden, not well sinalized and therefore local people try to “help” and get some money from you. The staff is very kind, but English wasn’t very good. The bedroom is small, but comfortable.

Although the location of the place is kind of remote, Mina and the owner are so nice. And when I got a problem, they solved it quickly. I would say this hotel is highly recommanded.
