Nice and tidy riad in the medina with very friendly and warm personnel and owner. Great breakfast and Marieme the owner loves to give tips and advice for your stay in the city. Rooms are small but clean and cosy. Good bed.
Cons: The Riad has 2 locations which means you have to walk 5-6 minutes to the other location for breakfast. This is far from ideal and we didn’t know this in advance. They could’ve communicated this more clearly

Riad piccolo ma dotato di ogni confort, molto silenzioso e molto pulito!! Si trova all’entrata della Medina, comodo ai punti incontro per escursioni varie e taxi. Cena marocchina preparata dalle loro cuoche, buonissima (entreè, zuppa, tajine ottimo, frutta)! Mustafa è SUPER, ha la soluzione a qualunque problema possa presentarsi!! Il nostro volo è arrivato in tarda serata, ci ha organizzato il trasferimento dall’aeroporto e ci è venuto a prendere al punto d’incontro ( 2 min dal Riad). Lo stesso alla partenza, ci hanno tenuto anche i bagagli tutto il giorno. Colazione speciale, preparata al momento. Spremute, thè, latte, caffè, pane tipico, uova, marmellate, miele, frutta ecc.. Mai avuto nessun problema mangiando di tutto. Noi avevamo 2 camere: Suite Ibtissam ottima x 3 adulti e Suite Adam x 2 adulti. Ci siamo sentiti a casa, non vediamo l’ora di ritornare!!

I had a fantastic time at the Riad - Mirieme was a fantastic host and very welcoming. The location is great, easy to walk into the souks and the jardin majorelle, it also felt really safe as there was a security guard right outside. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean.

La proprietaria Marieme super gentile, da subito ci ha fatte sentire a casa. Colazione abbondante e molto buona, i giorni in cui siamo partite presto per fare delle escursioni ci hanno fatto trovare una colazione take away. Tutto lo staff molto cordiale e disponibile a qualsiasi nostra richiesta. Consiglio fortemente per la gentilezza e la posizione che ha permesso di raggiungere in 10 minuti la piazza e il resto della attrazioni. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Il punto forte di questa struttura è stata la gentilezza, la cordialità di Marieme e di Brahim che ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa nostra. Dal transfert da e per l'aeroporto in piena notte, al thè in terrazza, si sono sempre prodigati affinché non ci mancasse mai nulla. Struttura vicinissima al centro e ad ogni attrazione. Colazione fantastica. Wi-fi funzionante. Non nego che se dovessimo ritornare a Marrakech questo sarebbe ancora il nostro alloggio. Grazie di tutto!!!!

Gute Lage in der Nähe des Bab Doukala, alles in der Medina ist fußläufig erreichbar. Wir waren nicht im eigentlichen Riad, sondern in einer Dependance in der Nähe untergebracht. Sehr ruhige Lage und für ein Riad ausreichend große Räume. Ausgesprochen freundliches und bemühtes Personal. Umfangreiches und sehr gutes Frühstück. Gute Vorab-Kommunikation per Whatts-App.
Cons: Der Abfluss der Dusche in unserem Zimmer war verstopft, man musste sich mit dem Duschen beeilen, bevor das Zimmer unter Wasser gestanden hätte.

Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et attentionné. Bien que situé au coeur de la Médina et à max. 25 minutes à pied des principaux lieux de visite de la ville, le riad se trouve dans une ruelle très calme. Le déjeuner servi à table (et éventuellement sur le rooftop) est très copieux et très bon, avec quelques variations quotidiennes. Nous avons dîné sur place à une occasion et c'était délicieux. Sur demande, le riad peut organiser des navettes (aéroport) ainsi que des excursions.

The Riad is in a pretty good location in the centre of the Medina, we couldn't have asked to be better located. Even though our stay was very short, we were only happy with it. Starting from the top, we had the pleasure of meeting with Mustafa, the extremely welcoming and friendly receptionist who offered us an exceptional service, from helping us with any tips we needed and providing breakfast, to arranging every service we could possibly need (like a taxi). The room we stayed in was very big with all the commodities we needed (private bathroom, AC, smart TV, toiletries, hairdryer, etc.). And they also have breakfast included and arrange excursions.
Cons: The room smelled musty, as there were no windows or sun exposure, and the bidet-shower was broken.

Very beautiful Riad in the middle of the Marrakesh medina. The house has nice rooms, there is a nice terrace on the roof where you can sit and lie down, look at the city skyline and the Atlas Mountains in the distance. The Riad employee Mustafa was very helpful throughout the trip, he speaks several languages and gives good advice and ideas for exploring the city. Excellent employee. The breakfast was beautifully laid out and delicious. I will be happy to come back to this accommodation next time.

Our room was nice, even though we didn't stay in the main building, so we had to walk for breakfasts ca 5 Minutes, but it was really not a problem. The riad is tucked away in a quiet lane. The location is only a few minutes of walking away from all the major sites of Marrakech. Mustafa is super friendly and speaks an astonishing number of languages. He organised our airport transfer, a camel ride, a gluten-free breakfast for my wife and a superb homemade tangine one evening. A very enjoyable stay!

RESALTAR: Mustafá, fue la persona que nos recibió, atento en todo momento, comunicativo, y una gran persona, el último día, necesitábamos imprimir las tarjetas de embarque y amaneció lloviendo bastante, tenían la impresora con fallo, y se molestó de momento en buscar por la zona un negocio que le imprimiera dichas tarjetas, ojalá siempre gente así de pendiente, Ubicación muy buena, a 5-10 minutos andando del zoco, y rodeado de muchos comercios, ojalá repetir pronto, un encanto la propietaria del hotel, y nos ayudó también.

We liked just about . Very clean comfortable room, breakfast excellent. We also ate there in the evening on 2 occasions which I recommend. The customer service is really good as well, very friendly with nothing to much trouble. The location is excellent, in old Marrakech city with the hustle and bustle everywhere around you but once inside the Riad it turns into peace and calm,including the roof top terrace.

I booked twice: once for the first two nights, and a second time after returning from Merzouga before flying out the next day. Both times, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is great—it’s near the Medina but not in the busiest area, which allows for a calm stay. We had a room on the ground level near the reception, and despite the location, it wasn't so noisy that it prevented us from resting at night. We were also able to leave our bags for safekeeping, and they helped us organize transportation to the airport for our flight.
Cons: The first stay was good; however, the second wasn't as pleasant. We were sent to the annex building instead of staying in the main riad. While the main building was fine, the annex needs renovation and better ventilation. I was sent to a ground-level room, and since it was right in front of the common area, I couldn't open the windows for proper airflow. The room felt and smelled damp to a stifling level. As an opportunity for improvement, management should consider installing a ventilation system to allow for better airflow without guests needing to open windows and compromising their privacy. Additionally, the room my friend got was too small even for one person and had the same ventilation issues. If it hadn’t been for this experience on the last night, the rating would have been higher.

The Riad offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere comparable to visiting a distant relative. The service is exceptional and the rooms are generally well-lit. Situated in the Medina, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to key attractions such as the main mosque and the main square. The hosts also provide a complimentary dinner which is approximately 150 MAD and is of high quality.
Cons: There are a few minor issues. The toilet occasionally clogs but this has been fixed recently and is quite common in the Medina. The room is also a bit small, with almost no space for a 28-inch suitcase. A single bed would be much better. Another small suggestion would be to use yellow lighting and ensure it’s well-powered. The white light gives the reception a somewhat eerie feel. (So I feel this is about 9.5, but as the service is truly excellent.)

The Riad had a lovely room where breakfast was served. The breakfast was just lovey. The bathroom was spacious and clean with a great shower. The owner and the staff were fantastic, welcoming and very helpful. Marieme and the team (especially Mustapha who was always very helpful) were just amazing hosts and I would 100% recommend staying here.

If I could give Riad Bab Tilila more than 10 stars I would. It was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Miriam the host and owner went above and beyond to welcome us with Moroccan mint tea and delicious sweet treats. She is elegant, eloquent and was highly knowledgeable about the surrounds, giving us useful travel tips, because we didn’t want to use a guide. The rooms were super comfortable and spacious, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The staff, Mustafa the butler, Rita the chef and a sweet lady who was the housekeeper all demonstrated exceptional service standards and by the end of our stay, they felt more like family than employees. We were served incredible breakfasts each morning, that sustained us throughout the day. We enjoyed dinner (additional extra) on a couple of nights and truly, the ravines and salads were more flavoursome and tender than any of the restaurants. I highly recommend Riad Bab Tilila, and we are already planning to return there in a year.

The property is nicely tucked in the heart of Medina. There is an alley to navigate to get there which is for every Riad in the Medina. It was our first time in Marrakech so it felt a bit eerie when we arrived at night but Moustafa made us feel at home. He welcomed us with tea and snacks and later served us the most delicious meal we had in Marrakech. The daily breakfast served at our convenience was also delicious with lots of options. Meriem and Mustafa’s hospitality is unmatched, a 100 out of 10. They also dropped us at our location for our trip and guided the driver about location. I’d highly recommend this place.

De gastvrijheid van de eigenaar en diens personeel was bewonderenswaardig. We kwamen aan en kregen onmiddellijk thee en koekjes voorgeschoteld 😍 Had je een vraag over excursies? Zij wisten wel waar. Wou je vertellen over je dag, ze luisterden vol aandacht. De volgende ochtend kregen wij een typisch Marokkaans ontbijt! Over-heerlijk! We hebben bij hen 2 keer gegeten in de avond, omdat het de eerste keer zo lekker was, waren we blij om nog eens te blijven eten! We kregen iedere keer een heel menu voorgeschoteld aan ons tafeltje die met kaarsjes verlicht was. Echt schattig. Dit is geen restaurant maar volledig huisgemaakte maaltijd en dat proef je! Dikke aanrader! We waren daar in de winter, en ik had schrik dat ik 's nachts koud zou hebben. Maar we hadden het 's avonds lekker warm onder alle dekens. Ik had zelfs nog een extra deken er bovenop gegooid, maar dat bleek snel te veel van het goede te zijn. De riad ruikt trouwens overheerlijk. Het gaf ons echt het gevoel van thuiskomen. Ze hebben ook een cute terrasje waar je het gebed van alle windhoeken kunt horen, het is een echt heel speciaal gevoel.
Cons: Het enige minpuntje is dat we niet langer konden blijven ;-) Even serieus: Je mag niet vergeten dat je in een riad bent en dus alles hoort. De straatkatten hebben een paar keer goed gezongen 😅

Le petit déjeuner était bon et copieux et servi avec de la bonne humeur. Ma chambre était petite mais confortable ; elle donnait sur la rue qui très tôt le matin était très animée. La gérante, très aimable, m’a changée de chambre dès qu’une plus calme et plus grande était disponible. La réception , très attentive, prend en compte vos souhaits personnels et vous conseille bien.

Durante tutto il soggiorno si è sempre dimostrato disponibile per ogni nostra richiesta (suggerimenti per la città, info sulle escursioni). La proprietaria è una persona gentilissima e cordiale, disponibile a organizzare extra (escursioni, hammam, cena) a prezzi assolutamente ragionevoli (personalmente ho provato l'hammam e la cena ed entrambi erano eccellenti). Tutto il personale è efficiente e gentile. Riad molto accogliente in stile tradizionale, pulitissimo, posizione eccellente, letto tra i più comodi che abbia mai trovato in viaggio anche confrontandolo con quelli di strutture di livello superiore , colazione ottima e abbondante.
Cons: Unico neo, se soggiornate nella dependance come è stato per me (stanza Andalouse, peraltro un piccolo gioiello) Il vicolo in cui è ubicata è piuttosto rumoroso. Peccato perché il letto super comodo farebbe venire voglia di farsi dormite da 14 ore!!!

Wonderful breakfast on the terrace, the room had a little humidity problems, but since the building is historical we did not expect it to be as a brand new lodging. The courtesy of the personal was impeccable! Wonderful experience in hammam booked by the personal in a nearby hotel. Nice view from the terrace.
Cons: The arranged pick-up from the airport didn't work, due to heavy traffic in town: after one hour waiting we gave up and took a taxi (that turned out to be fast and cheaper) ... the glitch was quickly forgotten thanks to the professional and caring help of Mustafa (who pampered us and was available basically 24/7 🌟)

Mustafa made my 3-night stay perfect. He securely stored my luggage during my Sahara tour, was flexible with breakfast times, and recommended safe transportation services. Location is EXCELLENT - walking distance to Majorelle Garden and mosques, with beautiful nearby souks that are less crowded than Jemaa el-Fnaa area. Stayed in both Annex (1 night) and main riad (2 nights) - both were spotless! I worried a traditional riad might not be modern, but the facilities were perfect with great showers. The rooftop terrace is beautiful. This experience convinced me to always choose riads in Morocco. 10/10 would stay again! 🌟

A localização do Riad é fantástica. Fica relativamente perto de tudo. Os funcionários são excelentes. Muito amáveis e disponíveis para tudo. O Mustafa é de uma simpatia fantástica. E muito atencioso. Recomendo sem dúvida a estadia neste Riad. O pequeno almoço muito bem diversificado e todos os dias com coisas diferentes. Se tiverem oportunidade, jantem lá, que a comida típica é muito boa.

Thanks, Mustafa, for all your help. The riad has a nice, relaxed atmosphere right in the medina, with good shops and restaurants nearby. The room was clean and had everything I needed, and the breakfast was plentiful and really tasty. I used the place as a base before, after, and between a few day trips — they looked after my bags, and Mustafa showed me around the area with lots of useful local tips. A good, easy spot to stay in Marrakech.
Cons: Not really a complaint, more of an advice — the riad has two buildings very close to each other: the main one and an annex. Both are the same quality, but the annex is a bit closer to the bustle of the medina, so there’s more street noise. If that might bother you, it’s worth asking for a room in the main building when you book.

Cons: Pour l'une des chambres, les murs étaient très humides et cela sentait l'humidité. C'était la chambre des enfants . Dommage qu'ils n'aient pas pu avoir une autre chambre car l'annexe n'était pas pleine ce soir là.

Amazingly located, the Riad is in a quiet neighborhood while close to Jemâa El Fna and Bab Doukkala. You can chill on the terrace with an extraordinary view. The facility was impeccably clean and we were welcomed by Ghita with a smile, tea, and Moroccan biscuits. The breakfast was very rich, prepared with lots of love and almost too much to eat. Meryem and her husband, the Riad’s owners came to all guests during the breakfast to say hello and exchange.
Cons: Unfortunately, the very deck chairs you see on the Riad’s picture weren’t clean and with old towels during the entirety of our stay. So we didn’t feel invited to use them.

Cons: Keine Kritik aber wichtig zu wissen: wir hatten ein Zimmer im "Nebengebäude", das ist aber 5 min. entfernt. Das Frühstück gibts im Hauptgebäude. Ebenfalls relevant: typischer Riad- Bau. Räume sind etwas dunkel und eingeschränkte Privatheit in Bezug auf Geräusche.

Cons: Я долго выбирал риад визуально и по местоположению. Но, к сожалению, нас заселили в другой корпус в 5 минутах ходьбы от основного, хоть номер был такой же, сам риад был не такой красивый. Это очень расстроило.

Tutto nel Riad Bab Tilila è andato bene, dal the di benvenuto, alla stanza, la colazione completa e il trattamento. Nel nostro anniversario ci hanno sorpreso con una torta e candele, la camera tutta sparsa da petali di rose e cuori. Le escursioni che abbiamo prenotato tramite Marieme perfette. La simpatia e ben disposizione di Mustafa ha reso tutto il viaggio positivo. Abbiamo cenato nel Riad una notte e la cucina è di ottima qualità, la cuoca simpatica e sempre sorridente. Marieme sempre a disposizione e di aiuto.

- it’s about a 10’ walk from all the Souks. It’s perfect if you want to stay away from the really crowded and noisy areas but still have everything within walking distance. - the room and bathroom were good. The photos I saw online reflect exactly what they are like. I requested a new pillow after the first night and the request was accommodated. Our room was in an Annex which is about a 5’ walk from the Riad. It would’ve been helpful to know about this before booking. It turned out for the best as I preferred the location of the Annex, but it did take us by surprise when we were taken to another building a few streets away. - I enjoyed having breakfast in the terrace. There was a good variety of food and drinks. - Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Mustafa with traditional Moroccan sweets and mint tea. He was very friendly, professional, and helpful. Before booking this Riad, I noticed that most reviews said really good things about him and I can confirm that they are all true. He is very hard-working and I always available should you need anything.
Cons: - On our second day, we went back to the Riad in the afternoon to rest for a bit and found that our bedroom doors were open. I assumed the cleaners would be around and were about to clean our room but didn’t see anyone one there. I messaged Mustafa about this and he said the cleaner was there but they weren’t. I wasn’t happy with this as anyone could’ve walked into our room. I found it unprofessional and unsafe. - The day we checked out we were asked to pay a 10€ city tax. I hadn’t been made aware of this, so I had used up all the cash I had on me and didn’t have enough to pay for it, which meant that I had to go to an ATM to withdraw some cash and had to pay commission. It would’ve been better if the tax was included in the booking fee or paid for upon arrival.

Nos tocó una habitación en el segundo Riad y contábamos con una terraza que era prácticamente exclusiva. El personal súper atento y amable. Muy buen desayuno con fruta, café, huevo e iba variando un poco cada día. La ubicación era muy buena.
Cons: Al estar en el segundo Riad, había que caminar tan solo 5 minutos al otro Riad. Sin embargo, el beneficio es que el otro Riad era súper silencioso y cómodo. Igual si bien para mi no es algo negativo, es solo para saberlo.

il riad è molto bello e non distante dalla medina, sta a circa 15 min dalla piazza jamaa el fna. Sono stati super gentili ci hanno anche dato una bottiglia d'acqua per la notte, la colazione abbondante e buonissima. La stanza era molto pulita sopratutto le lenzuola. Dall'aeroporto dista una decina di min in auto. Noi eravamo due ragazze e ci siamo sentite sicure anche a tornare la notte nonostante sia in un vicolo che può sembrare un pò angusto. consigliatissimo

Grazioso Riad a pochi passi dal centro di Marrakesh, in una zona molto silenziosa che ci ha permesso di dormire benissimo. Mustafa' e la Signora Marieme sono stati i nostri angeli custodi, sempre pronti a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta. Colazione ricca e tipica del Marocco sulla terrazza con vista sulla città. Lo consigliamo vivamente. Addirittura Mustafa si è svegliato alle 3 di notte per salutarci e assicurarsi che il transfer per l'aeroporto fosse, fuori dal Riad, puntuale. Grazie ci rivedremo sicuramente.

Cons: Muchas cosas: las instalaciones mal cuidadas. La puntuación que aparece en Booking no es real Sabanas y toallas muy viejas y con manchas a pesar de que estaban lavadas. Dificultad en la comunicación por el idioma. Y muchos aspectos de las instalaciones que no lo hacen recomendable para repetir.

Quel accueil!!!! Nous avons été chouchoutés. Le personnel est aux petits soins, les chambres sont confortables et tout l'essentiel est présent. Des pétales de rose étaient disposés un peu partout dans la chambre. Nous nous sommes sentis attendus et accueillis. Le petit déjeuner est franchement copieux, plutôt dirigé vers le sucré ;-) Msemen, pain, confitures, vache qui rit, yaourt, fruits, jus d'orange frais, café, thé, oeuf au plat,... Tout ce qu'il faut pour bien débuter la journée :-) Nous avons été charmés. Le Riad est situé dans une ruelle très calme, nous n'avons rien entendu comme bruits. Super expérience

I like the place.. comfortable, quiet, and great breakfast. The staff were lovely too.. very friendly cleaner , they always clean our room daily. Mustafa is a great host, too, as he makes sure that we are ok till the end of our stay. Met the owner once, and she seems to be lovely, too, as she told us where we can go around the city.
Cons: The only one thing is about tourist tax..we didn't know about it till the end that we have to pay it.. but I guess they are just following the moroccan law, but I think the host should mention that to the guest in the beginning..

Muy grata experiencia. Mustafá es un excelente anfitrión. Se aseguró de que tuviésemos el coche bien aparcado, nos recogió y ayudó con las maletas, pendiente en todo momento. Las habitaciones estaban fenomenal y nos recibieron con un riquísimo té y aperitivos de cortesía. Destacar el maravilloso desayuno servido en la terraza (ni en 3 días hubiésemos podido terminarlo ;) )!!! Muy bien situado. Repetiremos

The riad is quite atmospheric and the staff are friendly. Location is reasonable at the top end of the Medina. The rooms bar the two ground floor ones are large. Price is acceptable.
Cons: The whole place is a little worn and could do with maintaining better. The TV in my room didn't work and the AC dripped water. Lots of door and window catches are loose. Breakfast was ok on the terrace but again the terrace needs cleaning. I did say no carbs at breakfast just eggs and coffee but they still brought them. The receptionist was fast asleep when I left ! So I just went quietly.

It felt so homely, everything was in place to make us feel at home. The way we were asked what time would we like our breakfast next day just felt like staying at the family’s. I traveled with little twins, we were welcomed warmly and very well looked after. Also the details the Road has, including naming the rooms made it feel warm. Moustafa was very helpful, always. Ghita is a very kind lady who makes very delicious Tajine, a must try one. And finally Marieme welcomed us next morning with a big smile and was so helpful with booking a day trip to Atlas Mountains

Cons: The Riad gives an authentic Moroccan experience with its interieur and hospitality. We think it needs some refurbishment to give a more fresh look (walls need repainting, AC is too loud to use, flat TV is small and placed on the wall too high, carpets are worn out, etc.). We are told this is scheduled for August. This should make the stay much more pleasant and more worth for its price.

This is a traditional house, that’s retained an authentic character. It has been owned by the same family for generations. The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff starting with Marieme, the owner, who was truly enchanting and gave us a warm welcome and Mustafa is a dedicated young man always ready to help. We ordered a dinner which was absolutely divine: the best tajine of our stay! You cannot fault the location walking distance to all the major POI and we loved the area! Great value for money!

Really nice Riad. Very familiar. Especially at the start you will get a warm welcome with nuts and tea. The rooms are clean. The bed was cozy. You can have breakfast on the rooftop. Especially Mustafa is always there and super friendly. He can help you out in every problem you can imagine.

The place is not from the city centre which was nice. The breakfast was excellent. The host welcomed us with sweets and tea which was a kind gesture.
Cons: The bed frame felt like it was about to collapse. The water in the bathroom was too salty so I had to skip bath. The wifi was a bit too slow probably because I was in the top floor room.

Hey there! I don't usually leave a lot of reviews but this time, it's really a must. 😁 First time in Marrakech for us. When we arrived at the Riad from the airport we were greeted by Mustafa, who is an excellent with great hot mint tea, fresh sweets and a warm smile. Little did we know that this was only the beginning of something great. We stayed at Riad Bab Tilila for about 3 days and we really felt like we have a family here. A home dressed as a Riad that radiated that true feeling and vibes of Marrakech and Morocco. Great nice rooms, very hot water all the time, good WiFi (I used it to work at night on my notebook), birds beautifully chirping in the morning, EXCELLENT daily breakfast served just in time, good terrace views at night and in the morning, and a great show of colours (check my attached photos) The Riad is very close to the souks, the centre of the Medina. Thank you, dear Mustafa, for taking good care of us and for being an excellent host. This is a MUST stay if you want THE true Marrakech and moroccan experience.

A great find 10 minutes walk from the main square. The staff were fantastic, Mariame in communication before we arrived and organising all the trips we requested. Mustafa was a boon, attentive and funny. We ate dinner in the riad a few times and the food was super, much better than the restaurants we tried. Breakfast was great and everything was very healthy. Great value for money and would highly recommend.
Cons: The only niggle would be that a drawer ot two in the room would have been helpful.

Mustafa is the heart of this place. From the moment we stepped in and were greeted with tea and snacks - to the moment he went out with us to get us a taxi to the train station... he made our stay in this riad so great. He told us where it's worth going, gave us a map, booked us a hammam, set up a dinner... honestly nothing was too much for him. He was so helpful and just a nice person to talk to! The riad was nice, small but comfy and in a great location, close to a common pick up place for excursions. Nice places to eat nearby too. The room had all you might need, including a big bottle of water which we did not get in another (more expensive!) riad - small thing but makes a difference in my opinion. Breakfast was massive with a lot to choose from and was also vegeterian friendly, really tasty and was flexible for when we wanted to eat as well. Also Mustafa speaks many languages so this is a massive bonus to guests.
Cons: The room was a bit small and dark but it was fine for a couple!

The owner was very helpful and kind, the place looks very authentic, the room was clean, the welcoming was nice. Also, the breakfast was good and tasty. If you travel by car, do NOT put the hotel's location on the map, the traffic is insane and the Maps will guide you through the madness of Marrakesh. Instead, put "Parking Voitures", it's a paid parking, safe, cheap, max. 5' walking distance from the hotel.
Cons: I don't know if all the rooms are like this, taking into account that it's an authentic hotel, but remember that not all the rooms have windows and it can be dark all the time. We stayed for 1 night and for us it was ok.

The riad is beautiful. It was super clean and the rooms were always tidy, thanks to the kind cleaning lady who also prepared for us the best tagine we've had in Morocco (you should totally have a dinner there during your stay). The beds are firm and comfortable. The location is handy - not in the middle of the chaos but not far from it. Mme. Merieme - the manager/owner - was very kind, and always accomodating and helpful. Ultimately though, Mustafa was the difference in making this trip amazing. He does everything he can to make everyone's stay as smooth as possible (including for our little three year old girl) . He's very kind, funny, witty (and knows about 8 languages!) - take the time to know him if you can, it will enrich your trip.

The location of the riad is perfect. While it is located in the medina, the sounds of the medina’s activities does not reach your room. What’s even better is that a taxi drops you off right to the lane of the riad. Coming to my stay, I spent 3 nights at Riad Bab Tilila and I had a very comfortable time. The rooms are tidy, they are cleaned everyday and there is adequate hot water and heating in the room for the cold winter days that I spent there. The best part of my stay was Marieme and her riad manager Mustafa. The both of the were very mindful of my needs. Marieme helped me navigate through the different requirements I had in the medina and may I say, she really knows her way inside the medina. Infact, when she learned that I really liked the orange blossom fragrance, she even gifted me a bottle of orange blossom oil along with a diffuser. It only goes to show that her hospitality went beyond the stay. Same goes for Mustafa. When he told me that he would be available to help with anything even at night, he meant it. He made sure I had everything to provide me with a comfortable stay and was always eager to help. Always. Infact, the day I was checking out, he came along with me and waited until he got me a taxi. I left Marrakech with a huge smile on my face thanks to the kind heartedness showered by both, Marieme and Mustafa :)

We had a wonderful time staying at the Riad Bab Tililia. Mustafa couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and he really made our stay perfect. He’s a huge asset to the Riad, which was lovely. We enjoyed a smashing breakfast every day and on the final evening, a super dinner on the rooftop, that was delicious and excellent value. The riad was in a great location and we loved our stay and exploring all that the vibrant city of Marrakesh had to offer. Thank you for making my birthday a magical experience.

I want to say a cordial thank you to the personnel of the Riad, especially to Mustafa, who was helpful from the very beginning of the trip, even before I arrived. He explained to my taxi driver how to find the way to the riad, met me and kindly helped with the accomodation although I arrived in the middle of the night. The morning after he served a delicious breakfast and was super nice and friendly. And it was like that throughout all my stay at the Riad. I came to Marrakesh for a very special occasion (friend's wedding) and needed everything to be quick and seamless and Mustafa helped with all the questions and requests. The owner and the rest of the staff are very nice and pleasant people, too. The place itself is cosy, clean and calm, so no problem to sleep at night. I was specifically happy to find out that the bathroom was clean and spacious enough as well (the toilet and shower are located in opposite sides, so there is enough room to take the shower comfortably). The location is also handy, near all the medina life of Marrakesh.

Great central location for exploring the Medina. We requested Bab Tilila to arrange our taxi, which worked well for us and we were met at the roadside by Mustapha and greeted by Marime upon arrival. Excellent service provided, nothing was too much trouble. Inclusive breakfast was amazing and we partook in a home cooked meal in one night, it was incredible.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike, maybe if staying longer than a few days you'd appreciate a bigger room.

The hotel is located close to the entrance of the medina. Unlike other hotels in the area, it’s hard to get lost while finding this one. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with tea and Moroccan sweets. Since we arrived early, we were allowed to leave our bags so we could go for a walk. The room was well-prepared by a very friendly lady. Upon checkout, a staff member helped us pay the city tax out of his own pocket, as we didn’t have the right change. This level of hospitality is truly impressive! I definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful decorated traditional Riad in a perfect location, near the main tourist attractions (5-15 min. walk). A perfect mix between traditional style and modern facilities and also very clean. Moustaffa is a great host, which has fulfilled all our wishes and was always there to support us. He also cooked breakfast for us at 5:30 am, because we had an early departure flight. Thank you again for your great hospitality and we wish you all the best for the future.

Very traditional riad. In a quiet backroad that was difficult for some taxis to find. Big welcome when we got there from the owner…. Lots of mint tea and Moroccan nibbles. Mustafá who worked there was so lovely and helped us with anything we needed. He was a godsend. Breakfast on the roof was refreshing and certainly more than we could eat. The shower was difficult to get the right heat but certainly not worth a negative comment. Once you get your bearings of how to get into the centre, you won’t get lost.

The location is strategic in the Medina, you have everything very close but in a quieter area without noise and confusion. Marieme, was waiting for our arrival and available at all times. A special thank you to Abderrahim and Rita who were there for us every day for anything we might need. Very friendly and smiling people, who made us feel at home. If we had to return without a doubt, it would be to our riad Bab Tilila.

The Riad is in a quiet location in the very busy Medina. Mustafa came to the Taxi and brought me the one minute walk through two narrow lanes. I stayed five nights at the house is very quiet and I think there are five bedrooms. Mine had a comfortable bed and good strong shower with lots of hot water and clean white towels. Mustafa served a very fine Moroccan breakfast each morning . He is fount of knowledge about the local restaurants .

The owner and Mustafa were absolutely welcoming and accomodating for our stay. The breakfast was always served so nicely and always having a teapot of mint tea and orange juice with it. Mustafa always helped us and gave us advice on what to avoid and what to do as well. I cannot be happier with our stay and the wonderful service from Mustafa, he deserves a raise! The room was clean, was tidied every day and had a little balcony inside the inner courtyard as well. The location of the Riad is quite central, there is a market one street away and is a 15 min walk to the main souks, yet is very quiet to sleep at night, which is great. I would definitely recommend it to friends and stay here again.

Marrakesh is a beautiful city and the Riad was in an excellent location a few minutes walk from the main square. in the close vicinity there were excellent cafe and restaurants plus a few ritzy roof top hotel bars. Our breakfast was served on the roof top terrace which was also a tranquil place to contemplate this lovely vacation. The breakfast was a selection of moroccan breads, french pastries, eggs and fruit. A special mixed tray of honey, jams and spreads plus coffee, tea and juice. Our room was large and decorated in authentic moroccan style with a large ensuite. The owner Marieme provided a warm welcome and her young assistant Mustafa looked after our every need from Hamman, taxis, trips etc.

Perfectly located, easy walking distance to the souk, to museums, to the Jemm el-Fnaa, but also very easy to take a taxi to or from the square by the mosque next door. Mustafa, the guy working there, was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Rooftop was also very nice. Very well cleaned and maintained, everything was neat and tidy.
Cons: As it is an old house (which is part of the charm and character!), noise insulation isn't perfect and it takes a moment to get hot water. But those aren't big problems!

Cons: When we arrived, the host Miriam was not so clear trying to sell us excursions and Hamman bookings. We asked if we can advise her the next day of our decision but she was not around the Riad (only our last night b/c they were expecting new guests to arrive). Also, there was a day (~7pm) which the front door was locked and no one to answer to open…we tried to contact Marieme via WhatsApp and she did not reply or answer the call. As a guest, I would expect some form of answer from the host of the Riad. Her the lack of response and lack of presence did not seem she cared for her guests.

The breakfast was nice. The room was very clean and tidy. You can have a delicious dinner at the hotel if you make a reservation before noon, which is especially useful if you come back late from a trip. Mustafa was friendly and helpful. Good value for the money.

We were made to feel like we were at home. Breakfast was lovely with a selection of breads, eggs, yoghurt and fruit. The property is well kept with a lovely upstairs terrace. The location is away from the main 'medina' area but this is a good thing to escape the main hustle and bustle!

Cons: This was so disappointing - especially given the exceptional status given by booking.com - which was why I booked it. - There was no one there to meet us, so we couldn't get in. A neighbour rang for us... - The room was right next to the reception, front door and main guest area. It was dark and in need of a bit of TLC - I had asked for a double bed but it was 2 beds - The tap in the bathroom was dripping constantly - The riad was fully booked so when i spoke to the owner she could not give us a different room, so we decided to find somewhere else to stay. I asked, given the circumstances if they could waiver the fee and yet I have still been charged full fee despite not staying at the riad and explaining why. - We stayed in a number of riads during our time in Morocco, this one was the most expensive and also from the time we spent there, the worst value for money, by a long way... - Such a shame on out last night...

Mustapha was fantastic. He greeted us on the street to help us find the Riad and then provided us a delicious welcome mint tea and local pastries. We had to check out at 6.30am for a tour and he got up early at 6am to cook us our breakfast. Good location about a 10 minute walk to the main square. We would have loved to have stayed again when we went back to Marrakech but it was fully booked. Would recommend staying here

Lovely traditional breakfast, small but comfy room with a lovely little interior balcony. The decor throughout the riad was gorgeous. Slightly precarious steps up to the amazing roof terrace with a fantastic view. Mustafa, Rita and Miriam were extremely helpful and friendly and someone was always on hand to provide anything we wanted.
Cons: The location was good, but not much on the doorstep in the way of restaurants etc, and rather a long walk to some of the sights like the Jemaa-al Fna (would be fine for fit walkers).

We stayed for 5 nights and was immediately welcomed by Mariam who hugged our 2yr old and provided cakes and tea upon arrival. The riad is small, traditional and very clean and located down a quiet road. We were very happy with the cot in the room that was provided as it had an extra memory foam matress with it rather than the uncomfortable travel cots base that you get in most hotels. We ate at the Riad for 3 nights out of the 5, this suited us with a toddler. Mustafa made our son dinner for 6pm and ours at 8 after we'd put him to bed (the riad is small enough that you can see your room from where you eat and the baby monitor is within range). Food, breakfast and dinners were delicious. Nothing was too much for Mustafa who works incredibly hard all the time. Location was perfect - all attractions are within a 25/30 min walk, there is no need to get taxis anywhere. For kids there were nice parks, Harti Park, Cyber Park and the Koutoubia Mosque gardens all within a short walk which were nice to get out of the hustle and bustle. It's a 5 minute walk into the Medina/Souks.
Cons: Nothing to dislike - the beds were very firm, it wasn't an issue for us and we found it comfortable but that's personal choice. Tip - take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper as the call to prayer at 5.30am from the local mosque is quite loud! (Again not a negative of the review, you'll get that anywhere in the Medina area)

The rooms are comfy, clean, quiet and characterful. Perfect to rest after a busy day around the city. All main sites are within 30 minute walk. Breakfast was simply the best ever. This riad was really good value for money. It's in a great location, about ten to fifteen minutes from the main square, and five minutes from the edge of the medina in the other direction. It was incredibly clean, and the staff who work there are hospitable, warm and friendly. Mustafa in particular was really kind and went out of his way to help. Breakfast is also good. It can be cold staying in riads in winter but there was heating in the rooms, and thick blankets were readily available. The decor is traditional and it is quite dark if staying on the ground floor. However, the rooftop terrace is lovely, with a beautiful view, and the riad itself is very quiet and peaceful amid the hectic atmosphere of Marrakesh!

Breakfast was made daily at the time of our choice and was very good. In addition to all the bread and jams it included eggs, yogurt, and fruit The location was right inside the medina with easy access to all of the old city. The room was cozy, clean, and we had decent water pressure and hot water. The owner was kind, she speaks French and enough English. She helped make some reservations and had recommendations. Mustafa who was there throughout our stay spoke good English and went above and beyond, helping us find places for dinner, walking us to the hammam or other places so we wouldn't get lost, making recommendations, and taking care of special requests for hot water or extra tea when we didn't feel well.

Mustafa and the other staff were very caring. The location was a bit away from hustle and bustle but still close to the center. Mustafa greeted us with Moroccan tea and sweets and was very kind to wait for us to arrive as our train got delayed in the night. Furthermore he guided us with places to eat snd visit. The other lady who does most of the cleaning was also very kind. She does not understand English but did her best to make us feel comfortable.
Cons: The property is not well maintained. The rooms are very small, hardly any space to walk. There wasn’t enough space to keep the luggage. The bathroom taps were leaking.

I loved my stay with them! Mustafa is an amazing person, very kind, polite and caring! He made sure we had an amazing stay! When we arrived they received us with Moroccan tea and pastries (which was amazing!) They were able to check us in very late due to our flight delay - which I appreciate tremendously! The breakfast is another amazing treasure - their tea, coffee, bread and eggs are awesome! They always made sure our room was clean and neat when we were back from our adventures! The location is superb, far enough from the crowds and at the same time, very close to the most important spots to visit, only 7 min walk from the Medina for example. Pharmacy, supermarkets and restaurants are available in less than 3 min walk. I really loved my experience with them! Thank you Mustafa and the lady that works there! You guys are the best! Location was good, safe place to stay, not in the big square madness Bank atm, Bank of Africa close by Shops close and 15 min walk to the square. Mustafa was so helpfull, he helped a lot and we had always nice chat with him. He is Good choice for the place as a staff :) The Riad Manager lady also was so nice. The riad can arrange day trip to the Atlas mountains what i really reccomending to use it. Cheap and safe. We also went for Camel ride was good experience, too. Riad lovely, quiet you can sleep well no any noise from outside. Breakfast was traditional Moroccan, we got every day different pastries, was nice.

The Riad was in a great location, only 10 minutes walk from the main square. The housekeeping staff and Mustafa were fantastic. Mustafa greeted us when we arrived with tea and snacks and made us feel welcome. Throughout our stay he was always willing to help with whatever we needed, despite working ridiculously long hours. Nice views from the terrace. The breakfast was lovely with generous portions.
Cons: The Riad is need of some maintenance eg leaky taps, broken knobs and shower heads. The air conditioning was difficult to turn on/off. The rooms especially bathrooms were a bit a tight for space.

The Riad is lovely, charming, and quiet. My room had a large en suite bathroom, and a large cabinet to store my clothes and luggage. The property has beautiful architectural details like stained glass windows and light fixtures, elaborately carved moldings and doors, and cozy nooks.

Great experience at Riad Bab Talila, As soon as we arrived, Mustafa welcome us with some moroccan tea and cookies, he was very kind and helpful. He guided us on how to do the tour in the city and gave us recommendations, he made us feel at home. The traditional Moroccan breakfast on the terrace was very good. Despite the fact that we only stayed one day, the reception and attention was very good and especially the personalized attention from Mustafa.

This riad has definitely exceeded all of my expectations! It was my first time in Morroco, and I didn't know what to expect. Firstly, the location is perfect. We walked everywhere and you can easily reach the top attractions (both in the medina and the new city) in a matter of max. 20 minutes walk. There are so many restaurants and markets around that you don't even need to go that far. Jamaa el Fna square is about a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast was included and was insanely delicious - traditional Morrocan bread, pastries, and mint tea. The room was very clean, with an ensuite bathroom and comfy bed. Massive shoutout to Mustafa at reception for making us feel so welcome and comfortable in Marrakech. He was always there to welcome us with tea after a long day in the city, offered us so many valuable tips on where to shop, and just generally a very pleasant person to be around! We both (my partner and I) left Marrakech feeling so enriched and happy, and the experience at Riad Bab Tilila definitely contributed to these feelings.
Cons: Everything was perfect. The only minor issue is that our room was located on the ground floor next to the reception and lobby, therefore we could sometimes hear new guests coming in. Not loud enough to prevent you from sleeping though since everyone was respectful.

Mariam and Mustapha make you feel at home from the moment you arrive with Moroccan pastries, mint tea, music, and kindness. The rooftop breakfast is one of the best I’ve had in Morocco — even when compared to 4 and 5 star hotels. I stayed in the Adam suite which was larger than some rooms. The location is amazing— 10 minutes from the main square with markets, shops, and concept stores around the corner. The public spaces and rooms are small but cozy. I appreciate the charm and price.

This riad is full of sweet charm and very kind staff. The owner is lovely and informative and served us mint tea and loads of Moroccan cookies on arrival. We stayed in the Adam room on the ground floor which was perfectly quiet and cool . Breakfast on the rooftop each day was delicious as was my very early morning cup of coffee that the staff so kindly made me. Location wise could not be better, ten minutes directly to the square .

From the moment we arrived Mustafa made us feel welcome and at home. He served a delicious tea with snacks before carrying our very heavy luggage upstairs to our cozy room that was decorated with rose petals. Mustafa served a tasty Moroccan breakfast very early to accommodate our schedule. Dinner was exceptional and we felt like princesses. Thank you Mustafa for making our Marrakech trip extraordinary. We cannot wait to return and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Location was great, the riad was beautiful and very quiet, but Mustafa was the highlight and added so much extra to our stay.

From the moment we arrived in Marrakech the experience was great! After a warm welcome late at night with tea and cookies, we were told everything about the city and it's highlights. The area felt quiet for Marrakech standards and very safe, yet closely located to the center. Staff was wonderful, and the food on the rooftop terrace is recommended! Rose petals on the bed is just the little touch that made this place extra special. In the morning, we were awaken with the sound of an enthousiastic bird that flew into the courtyard, a great way to start the day.

The location was perfect, just 5 minutes walking from the souk, in a beautiful street, no noise at night and in a safe neighbourhood. We arrived at 11 am and they allowed us to check-in before and welcomed us with the traditional tea and sweets, they were really good! I would recommend this riad and I will definitely come back!

We stayed at the hotel for a week. A day before coming, we were contacted by the reception and proposed to have a dinner prepared for the time we came. It was the best decision - after a long journey, we had an excellent full-course meal served right in the welcome zone of the Riad. It was not our last dinner this week, and every time food was exceptional (really recommended if you want to try homemade local food). Another thing we really liked was the housekeeping - the room was cleaned every day, and the towels were changed every time when some were wet (which is fantastic!). Finally, the staff were accommodating during the whole stay - they helped us to book the trip to Zagora, organised dinners and taxi, and served lovely breakfast every morning. Thank you for your hospitality, Mustafa and Marieme!
Cons: It is hard to say, as we really enjoyed our stay. It is a traditional Moroccan riad, which is not renewed to look like a super fancy instagrammable place, but it has its own charm. It looks less modern than I expected, but the staff takes good care of the site, it's very clean, and the terrace/rooftop is stunning during the sunrises/sunsets. I wish there could be more diverse breakfasts with healthier options, but I know it is not typical for Morocco. The price we paid is defiantly worth the stay.

(Like obtaining particullar camping gas bottles in the endless ocean of small shops of Medina (Decathlon does not have it, but they do 😁). In other cases one day of fuzz about practical stuff was sorted out in 30 minutes with him. Instead of running around, we could enjoy Marrakech in full as well as wonderfull breakfasts and dinners in Riad Bab Tilila. I would love to come back one day.

Mostafa was the most welcoming and kind host and treated us with respect and decency. He is hard working and kept the place organised. He was willing to help us with any of our issues and always went out of his way to keep us happy. I would highly recommend if anyone wants a nice located hotel with a lovely terrace view to book this one.

The location is easily accessible by car / taxi since its a 1 minute walk from a cars road (not your typical Medina pedestrian alley). There are many shops / ATMs nearby. Mustafa was a great host, he assisted me with different questions I had. I could feel he was genuinely happy to help me which I really appreciated. Breakfast was consistent, I was positively impressed with it. I cannot really complain, however, for some reason, I had higher expectations when reserving this place.
Cons: Ground-floor Room: - I am not sure what was the reason but there was an unpleasant smell in my room. I am not sure if it was the sewage or the furniture that smelled. I am particularlly sensitive to bad odours and I found it highly uncomfortable to fall asleep (I did not ask to change the room, I don't know if this is the case with other rooms as well).

Marrakesh is really crowded and we found peace and relax only in this Riad! The staff is great and helpful, the place is very beautiful with a nice terrace and close to the touristic places! Highly recommended

The Riad is very Nice and also a great location. We had a warm welcome with tea and sweets which was very lovely. Mustafa was kind, gave us good advice for must-sees in the area and he was always there when we needed something. We enjoying this Riad and recommend it!

We arrived at the Riad Bab Tilila after a long trip across the country and in need of some rest. This Riad hit all the right spots in making us feel comfortable and rested. Great structure, comfortable rooms, and well-stocked bathrooms. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace and the warm welcome of our host, Mustafa, who single-handedly managed to prepare for us delicious treats and tea, answer our every question, and entertain us with a long chat that helped us understand even more the beautiful country we had just visited.

Mustafa was lovely - welcome juice and a selection of pastries. breakfast was great as well.
Cons: it’s not quite as grand as some of the other Riads that have a huge centre section. This one is very compact, tucked away between two buildings on each side but still has the character.

Mariam and Mustapha were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, we were given Moroccan tea and sweets. The food was delicious and the location was excellent. The room was clean and tidy. The overall experience was great. We will definitely come back again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Riad with a warm welcome and first class service by the very friendly staff. The decor is beautiful and gives a feeling of truly being in authentic Morocco, an upstairs seating area offers an amazing view across the city itself. Booking services are provided for a wide range of activities including day trips, quad biking, camel riding, etc allowing you to sit back, relax and plan your days out. We very much enjoyed our time here and would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Morocco.

This classic riad is quiet but very well located, in a side street, so that no street noise can be heard. It is beautifully situated on the edge of the western city center within the city walls. Everything can be reached very quickly on foot. The rooms are spacious and not too small, you don't feel cramped. No musty bathroom, it is very clean, the Internet access works, the breakfast is varied and the service is very pleasant. Everything is easily arranged (taxi to the airport, etc.). You are warmly welcomed by the owner Marième and Moustafa provides excellent service on site, both very pleasant contacts. Breakfast can be taken on the two-storey open roof terrace, upstairs in nice weather, airy with a beautiful view of the High Atlas, in bad weather down a flight of stairs sheltered from the wind.

Laufweg vom Jemma el Fna entfernt ist dieses Riad erstaunlich ruhig in der Nacht und garantiert einen Erholsamen Schlaf ! Genießen Sie ihr Frühstück oder eine hausgemachte Tagine auf der Dachterasse mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick über die Dächer der Medina ! Ihre Gastgeber Rachid und Ghita geben sich alle Mühe ihren Aufenthalt unvergesslich zu machen ! Planen Sie Ihre Ausflüge , Shoppingtouren und Restaurantbesuche mit Rachid , Sie werden es nicht bereuen ! Nach 5 Nächten kann ich wirklich sagen ein kleines Zuhause in dieser schönen Stadt gefunden zu haben !
