Really enjoyed our stay at Riad Jaaneman. Fantastic location which was very easy to find. The riad was beautifully decorated and our room was fabulous. The inside of the riad offers peace and tranquility from the hustle and bustle of the medina outside. Waking up each morning to quiet birdsong and a delicious breakfast served in the courtyard was just delightful. The staff were fantastic, knowledgeable and couldn't have been more helpful. This is a little gem of a place which made for a wonderful stay in Marrakesh.

We had such a wonderful stay! The staff truly made the experience unforgettable. Lahcen was amazing, he went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He was not only attentive but also genuinely friendly and easy to talk to. Muhummad was equally fantastic, greeting us every morning with a smile and looking after us throughout the day. Their kindness made us feel less like guests and more like family. Our first night set the tone perfectly. We enjoyed an intimate dinner by the fire, surrounded by petals, with no one else around. It completely surpassed our expectations- private, romantic, and beautifully arranged. The staff put so much effort into making it special, and it truly was an incredible start to our stay. We also treated ourselves to a private hammam and massage, which was both relaxing and authentic. It was the perfect way to unwind and immerse ourselves in the experience. On top of all this, the location was ideal-just steps away from the vibrant shuks and Bacha Coffee, making it easy to explore and enjoy Marrakesh’s charm. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. From the staff’s warmth to the thoughtful touches, we couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

Amazing Reception. Arrived fairly early before check in time and l was warmly welcomed. Given mint tea (Moroccan tea) which to me is always a thrill. My room was ready and l spent hours of my busy schedule loving and appreciating my new surroundings. Unfortunately l didn’t take any names down, l wish l did as l would like to say thank you for everything. From the moment l arrived to leaving…the hospitality, the room, the ambiance, the breakfast. Printed my boarding pass. They even worried about my flight times as l still finished up my little errands…bless them but l had ample time at the airport. l must say everything was top notch. I will definitely return here as l spent only one night on the 11th of December and wish l was in Marrakech longer.

The riad itself is very beautiful! The interior and decor are lovely, and everything is very clean. The location was very convenient. It was within walking distance of the busy areas - we did not need to take a taxi to get anywhere. The room itself was very big and nice; we had our own terrace area with a waterfall! The staff were extremely nice and very wonderful. They helped us a lot with how to navigate Marrakech. The breakfast was also great.
Cons: The beds were a bit too hard; we would also have preferred to have a duvet. Our shower also did not drain water very well.

All'arrivo ci hanno spiegato in modo dettagliato tutto l'itinerario dandoci consigli pratici, ottima accoglienza.

Riad Jaaneman, sits among hundreds of options in Marrakesh but I am so grateful to find this one. It is simply beautiful and it feels like home. We virtually had the place to ourselves with a handful of other guests. The staff were incredibly humble, attentive and the hospitality is genuine. The breakfast they serve was a delightful experience. Jaaneman is decorated to perfection, an interior design inspiration with every piece of furniture and ornament has a purpose, sentiment and a quality to it. The room was very comfortable, serene and bathroom facilities are very good. We enjoyed the rooftop area where you can comfortably sun lounge or read one of the many books. A real space of calm amidst the outside busy hubbub of the Medina. Plenty of interesting quality souks and restaurants nearby with great access by foot to the various sights.
Cons: Nothing to add here, it was perfect and I will return one day.

The Riad is extremely tastefully decorated and upon entering through the front door one immediately feels at peace. Lehsan and all the staff were so helpful and kind, we were made to feel at ease. Breakfast by the fire was a great way to start our day. The rooftop is stunning especially at sunset- we would take a book there and relax after sightseeing and shopping at the souks. I was expecting Riad Jaaneman to be good, but not this good! I stayed here for a few days at the very end of 3 weeks travelling around Morocco, and it was the perfect place to reflect on my trip and rest. The location was perfect - the main sights of Marrakech are all in walking distance - and you are in the Medina. Riad J is at the end of a very unassuming alley (Derb Sraghna), and I loved coming back each day and stepping through the unmarked door at the far end, because it's like being in on a secret! As I stepped through that 'secret door', the sense of calmness and stillness was immediate. Every space is generously proportioned, and furnished very tastefully indeed, yet with a very comfortable and restful feel. The rooftop terrace is beautiful, with lots of different spaces – loungers, chairs & tables, and a lovely shaded sitting space with curtains billowing in the breeze. I recommend sitting up there for the sunset call to prayer – it’s a surround-sound experience, coupled with a visual feast of stunning sunsets! I haven’t yet mentioned the staff, but I must, because they create the sense of calm restfulness. They are gentle and kind, and unobtrusive yet readily available to help with anything. Nothing is too much trouble. I felt very well looked after, and both the space and the staff contributed to that feeling. I definitely hope to return again.
Cons: Nothing - for me, Riad Jaaneman was perfect.

So charming and elegant, well appointed while being cozy and homey at the same time. The nearly-secret entrance added intrigue, the song birds flitting through the trees to serenade at sunset and the lovely rooftop patio that was warm even in December, amongst other things, really made this a special place to me.
Cons: I have no real complaints, maybe they could add some heating to the common areas for like early morning breakfasts like ours but it really wasn't too bad and didn't detract from the charm at all.

Absolutely ideal stay! This riad is perfectly located and decorated - like a secret quiet oasis in the centre of the noisy and crowded Medina. The staff was so kind, welcoming, attentive and helpful: Lahcem and Mohammed (I hope I spell their names correctly) made our days in Marrakesh so nice and comfortable from the moment of our meeting - when the door of our transfer minivan was open unexpectedly at the square next to the King’s Palace and some nice-looking young man took easily our suitcases and accompanied us the the riad - till the last minute when Mohammed accompanied us to our car to the airport on the day of our departure. They provided us with so much useful information and care - unforgettable! It was like we visited our old kind friends, not for a minute we felt ourselves stayed just at a hotel with a big flow of guest.

Beautiful Riad in a perfect location, it's really close to all the best sights in the Medina but also once you're inside it feels so calm and quiet. The staff were all really lovely and helpful. Waking up to the sounds of the birds in the trees every morning was lovely. Nice roof terrace too.
Cons: Small little touches were sometimes missing such as towels for the sunbeds on the roof terrace. Our bathroom was looking a little tired and could have done with a bit of paint and a scrub. But these are relatively small things and the overall stay was great.

An absolute hidden gem in a wonderful location in the heart of the Medina and close to all the sights. The management and staff could not have been more attentive and made our stay for my 70th birthday very special. Mohammed was extremely welcoming and gave us excellent advice and guidance. Lehced looked after our every need and his attention to detail was outstanding. The food was delicious and the courtyard setting unequalled. Would highly recommend this lovely Riad.
Cons: The bathroom could do with updating. More luxurious bedding and pillows would also be an improvement.

This is the riad of my dreams. It's well located - not to far from the main road so easy to grab a taxi and perfectly located in the medina for an day of shopping and exploring. The riad is beautiful and a peaceful haven to get away from the chaos of the medina; the rooms are also well appointed and spacious. The staff is my favorite thing about this place. Both Mohammed and Lahcem are the epitome of hospitality, and I really enjoyed the dinner prepared by the chef (she knows how to cook up a delicious Moroccan dinner!).

The location was fantastic, a great central point to go off to explore the main points of interest such as the main square, the Souk, the palaces, gardens..just perfect! The breakfast included was fabulous, the best mint tea I tasted, fresh bread, flatbreads, fresh eggs to order and great coffee! There are robes and slippers in your room and fresh towels daily, the room is also cleaned daily by the wonderful staff. Lahcem was a great host, he told us everything we needed to know and asked daily if there was anything we needed. I would recommend Jaaneman to all. The photos don't lie, it's so pretty!

the hotel location, premises and decor were outstanding. Quiet, clean and pleasant. Mohammed was a very nice person at the hotel. A lunch ordered was delicious. Referral to other restaurants, businesses and more were good,
Cons: I think the breakfast menu and variety can be improved greatly. The food is minimal ( yogurt was way too small in quantity), the bread was toasted but seemed old and the pastries were not very appealing. Coffee could be hotter. I disliked that rooms had no keys but lived with it. Stayed 3 nights and breakfast was not something I liked. In addition, the person who worked the evening shift could use a bit more training and be given some etiquette lessons. At one point during a conversation he was scratching his arm pit.

Clean and comfortable room, staff were friendly with check in and at breakfast
Cons: We had an early check out on the last day but porter did not help us with our luggage and there is quite a distance between riad to the main road access point where we could catch our ride to the airport. Where do I start with the beautiful Riad Jaanemen. Mohammed met us at the street end to accompany us into the Riad. It’s situated just off a busy bustling street which is very open and safe (across from the Kings Palace and his guards). Once inside the calmness and serenity that’s meets you is amazing, it is such an oasis with palm trees and birds, truly instantly calming! Mohammed kindly served us Moroccan Tea during our check-in process while seated at the centre courtyard. We occupied three of the five rooms, Partenope, Nefelibata and Genesis, all which were so spacious and well appointed with an en suite bathroom with shower or bath or both. Each one had a different design and decor but all as equally beautiful. Breakfast was served every morning at a time of your convenience by Lahcen who was the most charming and friendly night housekeeper and it was served to us poolside. It consisted of fresh fruit and yoghurt, eggs cooked anyway you like them, fresh toasted bread, pancakes, and a slice of cake with coffee and tea if your choice. There is a roof terrace with ample sun loungers and parasols or a covered seating area to relax in which we used every evening to have a nightcap and watch the sunset. There is also two lounges just off the pool area for one for quite time with books or another with a TV if you so desired. Honestly this Riad is very special and would honestly not disappoint if you stayed here. It holds a very special place with us now as this was our first visit to Marrakesh and wasn’t sure what to expect but came away feeling like we had such a privileged week. A massive thank you to Mohammed and Lahcen and all the team for your hospitality. The privilege was all ours! X

Our stay at the Riad Jaaneman couldn’t be better, the place is amazingly beautiful and cozy, the location is perfect, close to everything, and the rooms were very good with an excellent shower and bed. The breakfast was delicious and it was served by the pool which made it even better, it was very relaxing starting our first meal of the day with those beautiful surroundings. But above all, the staff what made us feel at home, Ahmed and his team were the best hosts we’ve ever met. He helped us with all the infos we needed, booked table reservations for us to the best restaurants in Marrakesh, order our taxis and was always caring and friendly through our stay. If you are considering going to this amazing city make sure you book your stay at this riad. We couldn’t be more satisfied!

Love everything about this place. Location-all directions you will find dining places, shops, museums & hamam. Yet this riad is like an oasis- undisturbed by the bustle of Moroccan city centre. Room-4 poster king size bed, tasteful contemporary furnishings & deco, huge space. I don’t want to leave. Yet such affordably priced. Environment- comforting living spaces at ground level with sofas to sink in. Books, antiques- every corner you find something eye-catching. Open terrace with plants & lounge chairs to chill at sunrise or sunset. Breakfast- simple yet thoughtful. Personally served by the most gracious housekeeper Mr Lahcen. He seems to work 24hrs, always available to tend to all needs.

Stunning property! Easy walk to the souks and Grand Bazaar. The rooms are very spacious and decorated beautifully. Mohammed is a very gracious host and as our flight was later in the evening he was even kind enough us to allow us to come back to the riad after a day of last minute shopping to relax before the flight which was much appreciated. Would highly recommend.

This Riad is lovely and in a perfect location. It’s a 5-10 walk to the Madina and Square but very quiet and safe. There is a government building outside which is guarded by armed police that’s how safe and secure it is l. However I must stress that we found Marrakesh to be very safe and the people so lovely. You could be forgiven for thinking when approaching the riad and the narrow road where is this; but as you walk through the steel door you enter a tranquil and peaceful space with the sound of birds singing and flying around this magnificent building. Lahcen who was with us for most of our stay was such a nice, friendly and helpful person. He made us feel at home. Mohammed who looked after us for the last 2 days was just as kind and helpful. The breakfast was simple but nice. Fruits, yoghurt, bread, cakes and eggs. Juice coffee and Moroccan tea. If you love reading there must be at least over a hundred books of different genre spread around the rooms.
Cons: A minor grip but one must be honest. The shower heads could do with some descaling 😬. Also although we did not have dinner there, the quoted price of €30 per person is a bit too much considering what’s on offer outside

Lovely, Instagrammable Riad. Rooms were spacious , bathrooms large. Good location. Lunch that we ordered was good. Breakfast was the breads , jam, butter, cut fruits. So we asked for eggs to be made.
Cons: Breakfast was only from 8.30am to 10.30am. As we had an early tour, we asked the person to help us make something simple for a 7am breakfast. But it was a flat no, with no conversation...perhaps would be good to include the breakfast timing in the description, so that future guests can decide and plan ahead of time.

The Property was amazing, our room was stunning and the staff were so kind and helpful especially Lahcen who looked after us for the week we stayed, nothing was to much trouble for him and he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and knew all the information we could possible need to getting around and sightseeing, he is such a credit to the riad and made our holiday 100 times better and easier. The cleaning team were wonderful and our room was cleaned everyday, the kitchen staff did an amazing job with breakfast every morning it was so tasty! The location is amazing and so happy we booked here, We would 100% stay here again and will be recommending it to our friends and family!
Cons: The one downside we had was the bed was SUPER hard, so was uncomfortable. The door to our room was very easily opened with the smallest bit of wind so we found around 4-5pm it just wouldn’t stay closed which we didn’t love.

Although the Riad is located in the hustle and bustle of the Medina you soon forget that you are in the middle of a very busy and lively place once you enter the peaceful and cool courtyard. The staff were very friendly and attentive to your needs. The room was spacious and clean but could do with a little refresh and modernising. Perfectly located within walking distance of all the major attractions. We had a delicious 3 course dinner (the best of our entire stay) freshly cooked by the chef at the Riad on our last night.

Riad Jaaneman and the staff exceeded all of our expectations! I stayed three nights with my sister and the riad was perfectly placed for this portion of our holiday! Riad Jaaneman is a very stylish place to stay, where you can relax after the hustle and bustle of the busy city centre of Marrakech. It's so quit although it is situated in the old part of town. The design and old architecture are just astonishing. The rooftop is amazing. The staff is so friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stay. I would definitely stay there again!
Cons: Maybe one small remark: the mattress was a bit too soft; the pillows were too high. But nevertheless we had a good night sleep.

We’ve left a big piece of our hearts at Riad Jaaneman ❤️ Words could never explain how magical it is. This Riad was perfection. Gorgeous decor, AMAZING food and the best team we’ve ever met. An oasis set in an ideal location on the edge of the medina, you’re seconds away from the hustle and bustle of the souks or a taxi ride out of the medina. Security isn’t an issue as you benefit from the 24-7 military presence guarding the palace next door. Once inside, you can’t hear anything from outside. It’s like you’re in another world. Mohammed will forever hold a special place in our hearts. His immediate advice made sure we were as clued up as we could be in this fantastic but crazy city! There is nothing that is too big for him - he was always on hand to help and with a smile that can brighten up a whole village. The property are very privileged to have him represent them. He is a diamond. A special shout out to Lassan too. He stepped in for a few days when the daytime manager went on leave and he was a pleasure to deal with. The property is always clean. The chef made us some cracking meals. Breakfast here is fit for royalty.
Cons: The only room for improvement would be the WiFi which is quite intermittent, but perhaps we all need to switch off more anyway. Something to bare in mind if you plan on working from here.

Everything at this riad was wonderful! We were sad to leave it. It’s a beautiful riad tastefully and eclectically decorated. It feels like a boutique hotel. There are only 5 or 6 rooms so it feels private. The rooms are all pretty big. And very clean! The rooftop is lovely as well. The location is perfect. It’s in a chic part of the Medina called Dar El Bacha. Lots of upscale boutiques in this neighborhood. Not touristy. It also in walking distance to all the sites. The best part was the sweet and caring staff who looks after you so well. I will definitely stay here again. Also, it’s around the corner from a main taxi stand and from one of the King’s palaces so it’s very safe. The riad is also very easy to find.

The Riad is a beautifully designed and furnished space; full of interesting art and furniture and yet simple and pared back. The manager Mohamed is the most wonderful host and will aim to fulfill your every request. It is located in one of the best areas of Marrakech and very accessible to all the sites and restaurants. Sadly we only stayed one night, but if we are lucky enough to stay again, I would try the dinner as the ladies in the kitchen were making some delicious looking and smelling food and the breakfast was delicious and the only place we stayed which managed to cater for gluten free.

This hotel is amazing. Our room (Leale) was so unique and beautiful. The service is impeccable. Breakfasts were delicious every morning. Location is great, very close to where the cab can drop you off and not far at all from many restaurants, sights, and shops. One small tip - as of our visit, there was no sign on the door, making it hard to find (though it is actually very close to the main street, so it isn't hard at all to get to!). Have someone from the hotel pick you up from Dar el Bacha (we declined this and regretted it!). Hope to return here one day!!

My mother and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Riad Jaaneman. Not only was it in an ideal spot in Medina, but it was also in walking distance to the famous Jardin Majorelle, a quick drive to the airport and to Palmerie. Furthermore, the Riad felt luxurious with beautiful individually designed private rooms and communal spaces. Not only was the accommodation lovely, what really made the whole stay perfect were the staff; Muhammed no. 1 and no.2 couldn't have been more helpful and attentive in making our stay an absolute delight. We loved it here. We didn’t really want to leave, when it was time. Super calm interior to contrast the Medina outside of the door. Staff was very kind and helpful. Room was clean and spacious.
