La proprietaria del Riad, Barbara, una persona molto accogliente, gentilissima e preparata su dare consigli e fornire servizi al turista(ad esempio servizio navetta aeroporto, colazione in Riad, veramente abbondante e ottima). Terrazza con tavoli per concludere la serata con la propria famiglia a fare chiacchiere. Joseph, tuttofare della struttura sempre presente e disponibile. Location situata dentro la medina, a 10 minuti dalla movida di marrakech, zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa, anche alla sera si raggiunge il riad in tranquilla senza nessun problema di nessun genere. Ottima puliza, arredamento in stile arabo da mille e una notte.

Owners were friendly and helpful. Good communication. When you arrive you will pass through alleys, and experience the reality of people still living in the old part of the medina. Riad inside decoration is beautiful.

Lovely staff who were always very attentive and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Location is in the Medina but approx a 25 min walk to the square, we found it nice to be a bit further out and explore a different part of the city. A little haven to come home to away from the hustle bustle of the Medina. The rooftop area is very beautiful and peaceful, and there are nice tables to sit at outside each room

Cons: There is a mosque next door that can be loud at times, but all part of moroccos charm. (PS Keep in mind that some doors of the souks close around 10pm! We got caught out coming home and it was hard to find a way out.)

This is a beautiful Riad in the Medina (Old Town). It is in a quiet lane away from most of the main attractions but easily walkable. Marrakech is very safe as well. The hosts Youssef and Barbara were very helpful with information prior to our visit and I would recommend booking a taxi through them to get to the Riad. The rooms are compact but more than enough room for a short stay with a great bathroom and shower. The room is cleaned every day with fresh towels. There is plenty of seating in each floor and a nice rooftop terrace. The biggest compliment is I couldn't fault anything.

The property is stunning and immaculate,the owners here are really lovely and friendly,they also have a really cute sleepy puppy. The room was really comfortable and everything is so clean beautiful. Breakfast was served on the terrace which was lovley,the coffee was so nice. The owners are really helpfull too and were happy for me to keep my luggage there after I checked out and helped arrange a taxi to the airport for me.

Cons: Just to be aware the property is in a residential area which is a little more conservative,was about 5 minute walk to an ATM and about 15 minute walk to the main square which was fine for me. Might be better to get a taxi back if you are staying out at night rather than walking.

Both Barbara and Yousseff worked so hard to make sure that every little detail was taken care of so that I could simply enjoy the delights of the Riad and Marrakech. Also, the breakfast - Wow!!! The riad is conveniently located in a quiet street of the medina, close to the centre but away from the crowd and the noise. It is beautiful, very clean, and very comfortable room. Youssef and Barbara are so kind and attentive and go out of their way to make your stay "the perfect stay" and make you feel at home. They helped me on every question I had from getting a local sim card to tips to visit Marrakech. They serve a delicious breakfast, all freshly made. I also had dinner at the riad, deliciously home cooked meal. Highly recommended.

Both hosts Barbara and Yussouf were very kind and helpful. The place is very clean and quite. There is daily cleaning service. The facility is beautiful and very autentic. The owner thought of every single detail in the room and in the whole Riad. Breakfast is delicious, every day it is slightly different. I would suggest maybe something salty like an egg, just to add some protein. It's in Medina with 15mins walk from Souk and with roughly 25 mins walking from the main Square. Thank you to both hosts for making our stay so beautiful.

The location was perfect because we felt safe and it was a very local neighborhood, not a touristic one. The house is beautifully decorated, tidy and clean. One can notice that they put a lot of thought into the enterior design. The environment inside the house is quiet and relaxed, we slept very well. We could hear birds every morning.

Cons: We were surprise that there was no door between the bedroom and the bathroom but a curtain. Even though the terrace is beautiful, we would have loved to have a view of the city.

Very beautiful riad, excellent location. Everything was walking distance for us. Youssef made our stay even better. His ever smiling face, his energy and eagerness to help out made all the difference. The rooms were cleaned everyday, breakfast was fresh and filling. All in all, an excellent experience.

The property was extremely clean and comfortable, we really loved having the terrace available. The main reason we would want to return to the property is for the customer service! Youssef was great with us, he was extremely friendly and straight from when we entered the property he give us so much information to help us on our stay between what to look out for and how to stay safe. So I would highly highly recommend staying here as the customer service is second to none, thank you Youssef for making our stay in Marrakesh better! Also, you should go for the breakfast it’s great and definitely worth the price! The location is a bit of a walk from Jemaa El Fna but as long as you are vigilant you will be totally fine. Shukran!

The furniture and decoration is very beautiful and provides a super relaxing feeling to its guests. The breakfast was delicious and for a small price. For us the best place we stayed in in Marrakesh! Highly recommend this place if you want to have an enjoyable and authentic Riad experience!

Cons: Not really negative, but the Riad is a little outside the Medina, roughly 10-15min walk. But if you don’t want to walk the way, you can take a taxi or the local bus which is close by.

Just wow! We do not expect that at all. Honestly, I wouldn't hesitate to put it among must see visits of Marrakech in line with Medresa Ben Youssef. We felt like in fairytale. All Dar was just so magicaly beautiful, we were enchanted. Barbi and Youssef are very kind, well spoken and amazing people. Youssef was really toughtful host, so nice and kind, smiling all the time, fixing you sweet mint tea whenever he had a chance. Lola the housepup was such a sweetheart and breakfast was delicious. We felt safe and welcomed the whole time and would recommend the place wholeheartingly. Hopefully we come back one day! Don't miss a chance to have a shisha on the roof top among roses. The Riad itself was lovely and on the upper floors you feel like you have a garden on your terrace. The room is really cosy and the breakfast was nice and served right outside my room every morning. The owners were really caring and attentive, and went out of their way to make sure that my stay was the best possible.

Cons: Although I should I have mentioned to the owners sooner, the only issue I faced with the room was that the main lights were not working, and the shower head was not attaching properly. But it was not a huge issue for me overall.

I have worked in the customer service industry for 26 years and I have never experienced such wonderful customer service from both the owner and her staff. They were absolutely exceptional and went above and beyond anything required of them. Clean Hotel and rooms , wonderful roof seating area, wonderful breakfast and the help they gave us to make our holiday the best it could be will never be forgotten. No wonder this Hotel has such amazing reviews. It really needs to be a 10 and there is absolutely nothing better or more these people could have done for us. I'd recommend to anybody and that's from someone who is REALLY difficult to please in respect of customer service.

From the fantastic welcome from the moment I arrived to when I left was just made to feel at home. I honestly cannot fault it they went out of there way to be accommodating so much so when I asked if there was a laundry nearby yuisef walked me there himself and spoke with the owner to make sure I didn't get overcharged intact he insisted I got in his words moroocan price...the room was comfy and clean...all the staff were lovely...if you are going to marrakech and want to be in the heart of the old town this is the place to book...

Dar Barbi was easy to find. In a local neighbourhood close to mosques, shops, Patisseries, cafes, and there's a BIM supermarket nearby. 20 minutes walk to Jemaa Al Fina. The hotel was beautifully decorated and very clean. Rooms were cleaned everyday. The hosts were very nice and helpful. Made us feel very welcome, and Barbara greeted us with mint tea and biscuits upon arrival. Nothing was impossible for Yussef. They helped us with any enquiries we had and gave us a sim to use. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was basic but filling. Moroccan tea was lovely. WiFi was great. Kept the kids happy! Thank you so much for everything.

Cons: Lola a friendly dog also lives there. Bathroom was lovely, enjoyed having showers. But the toilet and bedroom are divided by a see through curtain. Can be uncomfortable if you're sharing a room and used to privacy. I asked husband to go and sit in the lounge to avoid embarrassment.. It is safe walking through the neighbourhood, even in the evenings, but you have to be very careful as lots of motorbikes are in the way. It's part of the experience.

We stayed for five days, two of them working. Internet connection was really good, the food was amazing and the staff made us feel like home. The Riad is in a great position and the neighborhood is safe: you can go out alone at every time without any risk. This is for sure a great solution for both vacation or work. I liked everything about the Riad , but nothing would of been the same without Youssef ... WHAT A GUY !!! He was there 24/7 always ready to help with a smile and good maners. He was giving me tips about local markets and food places. He even went out with me on his motorbike to show me some hidden gems. He even makes us a little bags of breakfast for us on our way to the airport at 05:30A.M. This guy is completely changing your stay. I super strongly recommend him and the Riad.

A very friendly welcome from Yousef who was extremely kind and helpful at all times. The breakfast on the terrace was excellent, filling and a great start to the day. Cleanliness was absolutely 5☆ and probably the cleanest place I have ever stayed. I highly recommend Dar Barbi to anyone staying in Marrakech.

The stay here was really excellent. Both Barbara and Yousuf went above and beyond in looking after me including getting me Dinner on the first day even though it was Midnight. Their Hospitality was amazing. They were always on hand with every bit information I needed for my holiday. They arranged day trips for me and Yousuf even went to the Coach station to get tickets for my friend and me. I cannot thank them enough for taking care of me the way they did 🙂!! I would go again to Marrakech just to stay in Dar Barbi 🤗🤗🤗

Cons: To be honest, everything in Dar Barbi was perfect. I didn't like people following me and wanting to help me (!) Only to realise that they want money. And thanks to Yousuf, I could avoid these kind of helps (!!) In Marrakech as he already made me aware.

Gorgeous riad! Took us a bit to find the location but inside is so cozy and lovely! Most of the attraction sites will be in walking distance. I love all the decorations in the tablewares they use! Youssef is very lovely and helpful! Speaking to him has always put a smile on my face!

Our stay at the riad was exceptional, and above our experiences for the price you pay. First of all, Yussuf and Barbara are the kindest and most helpful people who take a lot of effort and flexibility for you to have the best time in Marrakech. Second, the riad was really beautiful and romantic with very delicious breakfast. Lastly, the location is perfect and close to Bab Taghzout where a lot of taxis are for in the evening if you favor a taxi instead of walking. Altogether, a perfect stay and definitely worth the money! Thanks a lot to Yussuf and Barbara for the nice stay and we would recommend it to anyone!
