Comodo come posizione.

We stayed in the wonderful Riad de Ciel for 8 days. From the first day we felt like home. Everything is done to make you enjoy your stay, nothing is too much trouble. The riad is so well situated in the Medina, lots of restaurants and shops close by, still so quiet and cozy here. The rooms are decorated in a beautiful, romantíc style. Clean towels and bed linen every day. Delicious breakfast with, fruits, fresh bread, home made pancakes and fresh orange juice among other things. Last but not least Simo, Rachid and their team Sana, Mona and Marwan go out of their way to make your stay convenient and unforgettable. Thank you for wonderful dinner upon arrival, doing our laundry and offering tea or water everytime we came home from a long day out in the city. Thank you all for caring and making our stay in Marakesh so wonderful.

We are a family of 4 (children 12 and 14) and had an amazing experience at Riad du Ciel from start to finish. It really is such a peaceful sanctuary in the middle of the noise and wonderful chaos of the Medina. Service was exceptional - every member of staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Nothing was ever a problem from organising taxis to bringing us mint tea and tasty Moroccan sweet treats when we got in from an exhausting day walking the busy, hot streets of Marrakesh! The Riad itself is a beautiful and relaxed space. We had two rooms on the first floor which were both huge with extremely comfortable beds and fabulous bathrooms. Our room had its own private terrace and little pool. Listening to the call to prayer as we watched the sun set over the city from our terrace is an experience none of us will ever forget. Breakfasts were delicious with plenty to choose from and varied every day. To sum up, if you are going to Marrakesh, and want to stay in the Medina, we don't think you could make a better choice! Highly recommend!

Charming riad with a comfortable room and bed, an amazing shower, helpful staff and delicious breakfast. Easy to find location with a petit taxi stand nearby. The manager also gave us great restaurant recommendations and a very useful map to get to key sites.
Cons: The wifi was a bit spotty in our room. Don't know if that was because we were on the ground floor.

Super clean, quiet and peaceful with plenty of beautiful spaces to lounge and relax. The rooftop and pool were my favourite. The staff were kind and welcoming.
Cons: The twin room I was in could use a few small improvements for the comfort of future guests: fix the electrical outlets so they all work, add a mount for the shower head so you don’t have to hold it, and add lights to the closet so you can see the contents easier.

By far the best place to stay in Marrakech. The staff was amazing and attentive and the Riad was well kept and gorgeous. Everything is close by and walkable as well. The shuttle to and from the airport was also very convenient.

This riad was great, inside it was very peaceful and quiet. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast every day was plentiful and delicious with different options each of the 3 mornings. The riad is not far from Jemaa el-Fnaa only a 15min walk (once you have worked out all the turns to make in the souks) Rashid was really helpful and even arranged an early breakfast for the day went into the Atlas Mountains. Communication up front with Simo was great to organise a car from the airport. Overall a great place to stay, highly recommend!

Beautiful Riad with exceptionally kind staff. Our first room was a normal size room, and we were offered a larger room from the 2nd night - a very generous upgrade for free. Our second room was enormously huge with a double bed (made for giants :) ) Breakfast is lavish, you can survive almost the whole day with having only the breakfast. The building, the rooms and the inner courtyard are beautiful.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Simon was very welcoming and helpful even before our arrival. He contacted me asking if we needed help with anything before arrival and sent a car for us to the airport upon request. When we arrived, he served us tea, and showed us a map of the medina, explaining every little detail and helping with our itineary while in marrakech. I needed his help quite a few times, and he was always avaliable to call. He recommender us restaurants (NOT big touristy ones, but small street-food and cheap but delicious places), and each time we took a taxi somewhere he told us what the normal price would be so we could bargain the prices to a regular level. The rest of the staff spoke impeccable english as well, were very helpful and kind. Excellent breakfast! It was different every day. The locatikn of the riad is on a calmer street, but is a minute walk from the souks. Our room was comfortable and pretty, and was not loud at all. This is probably the best place I’ve ever stayed at, and if you have the chance to stay here yourself, do not miss it!

The peace and tranquility the minute you step into the riad. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and Simo couldn’t have been more helpful!
Cons: The only very minor issue was the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, but it wasn’t enough to cause a major problem! Otherwise, we had no complaints. Use google maps and not Apple Maps as apple have the riad in totally the wrong place!

Hospitality, decor and ambiance of the room & riad. Was shown few better units and instantly regretted not booking those ..for next time :)
Cons: My db room, while well decorated and large, is dark as night, with window only to an interior stairway. The position of it also kept me up each night with loud teens hanging out in street. Recommend the larger units facing courtyard.

After researching dozens of properties I’m so happy we settled on this one. Beautifully designed and the staff is so welcoming. It’s walking distance to everything you need without being in the center of a busy street. Best part is the taxi can pull up right outside so you don’t have to carry your luggage through the Medina like with many other riads. Rooms are very clean and each one is unique.

We stayed at 5 riads around Morrocco and we loved Riad Du Ciel the best. We liked the intimate feel of the Riad, how clean it was and how personal the service felt. Simo was on hand to help with everything!
Cons: This is a personal opinion but it would be great if they had cheaper airport transport (I think theirs was 20 euros and we ended up using booking.com service for 10 euros) or maybe instructions for people not using their transport as they don't have external signs indicating where the riad is. I know Simo sent us his number so the driver could call him but we didn't end up doing that as we had a language barrier with the driver.

Best part of this hotel/riad was the staff. Simo was an excellent host and helped us book several resturants and taxi's for us. The riad was great and they made our stay very comfortable. The location is ideal with a taxi stand 5 mins away from the riad but it is also central enough to walk within the old city.
Cons: The breakfast was a little hit and miss. Every day was different but the amount was very good and the juice was fresh and the coffee was strong.

The Riad du Ciel is one of the nicest places we have stayed at. We opted to be met at the airport avoiding the hassle of trying to find a taxi. We were dropped off at the front door where Simo was waiting for us. We had a delicious traditional meal at the Riad for our first night. Breakfasts were also excellent. Our room was very clean, large and airy with plenty of traditional features and included a large balcony area. The Riad also has a large roof terrace with sun loungers, couches and chairs with views across the rooftops to the Atlas mountains. Our hosts Simo and Rashid were always really friendly and helpful and provided recommendations for cafes and restaurants as well what sights to see and what to avoid. All excellent advice. The Riad is well located in the Medina and has some very good restaurants only a few minutes walk away.

The property is exceptionally quiet, exceptionally clean and above all beautiful in every respect and you have the highest level of privacy. The Riad is also located perfectly…and the moment you enter, the buzzig city quiets down. Spacious rooms, wonderfully designed with hand-picked antique furniture, fantastic breakfasts and dinners…but above all and most important aspect: the service was unmatched - SiMo, Rachid, Aziz and all the lovely ladies in the kitchen took care of us as if we‘re family…they offer all great advice, share their deep knowledge about their country and can offer you wonderful packages to experience Marrakech/Morocco (in- and outside the city)…we cannot thank them enough, they made the Riad even more special and were the reason why we felt so safe and so at home…and the view from the rooftop is gorgeous too - enjoy the sun coming up and going down - it‘s worth every minute. We definitely want to return (-: Practical info: they have a strong and stable wifi all over the Riad! THANK YOU ALL!!
Cons: Nothing - except we could‘ve stayed a lot longer (-:

I had a long stay at Riad du Ciel and was glad I had chosen this wonderful place. The riad is located just north of some of the more bustling areas of the medina, which means a short walk to most of the attractions you'll be interested in visiting. The riad itself was beautiful -- a very peaceful courtyard and my room (the Music Room) was comfortable (good A/C, a nice little private patio, and a bathtub). Other guests have noted street noise at night -- from my experience, the Music Room was very quiet and I didn't have any trouble sleeping. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and plentiful. But the best part of my stay was the kindness and warmth of the riad staff. Simo and his colleagues all appeared genuinely interested in making my stay comfortable and fun. I would strongly recommend this riad to anyone.

God morgenmad.

Perfectly located and beautiful place to stay on the doorstep of the old city. Simo, rachid and the rest of the staff were so kind and welcoming - Highly recommend. We were welcomed on our first night by a homecooked meal, which was actually our favourite meal of the whole trip (highly recommend doing this if you have a chance). A very romantic setting for our first night away next to the cool pool and orange and lime trees. The rooms are great and were always spotless when we got back each day. The breakfast was also great, full of lots of nice treats - fresh orange juice, coffee, and breads/pancakes, honey, Moroccan peanut butter (peanut butter, argan oil and honey). We also arranged an airport transfer to and from the Riad, organised by Simo (far easier than booking our own). Thanks Simo and Rachid, you are great hosts!

The Riad du Ciel is in a really lovely central situation so it's really easy to safely walk to many of the tourist sites. The staff are really friendly and offer help and advice with bookings. Simo was particularly helpful and called around to many different hammams to find one that was available on the date and time we wanted. The breakfasts were generous, absolutely delicious and they changed daily so we had an opportunity to try lots of different foods. The rooms are large and clean and it feels like a real cool oasis of calm in amongst the bustle of Marrakech. I would highly recommend staying here as its a beautiful, safe, clean, friendly space.

The Riad is beautiful and peaceful. It provided us a wonderful escape from the hustle & bustle of Marrakech medina. The staff there are absolutely wonderful. They are very attentive and constantly offer us tea and snacks while we were around or back for a break from the medina. Everyday the room get a nice tidy by the staff and new towels and shower gels were provided. It also has a nice terrace, perfect place to relax after a tiring walk in the city. The Riad doesn't have a big sign from outside so if you are arriving late at night, do let the staff know as the locals might try to get money off you if you seemed lost and needed guidance. Overall, I will highly recommend this Riad as they make us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay.
Cons: We stayed in the Dorée Standard Double Room, it is situated right next to the street so some noises from the street do get into the room. Early morning could be a little noisy sometimes as it sounded like there was bin collector outside. The hot water can be a little temperamental as it could get cold when trying to run a bath. I struggle to keep the aircon running as it constantly switched on and off, possibly on some sort of timer.

Lovely accommodation in the medina, a short walk away from the souks and main square. Huge and varied breakfasts each day. Simo was so helpful organising taxis, tours and restaurant recommendations. He couldn't do enough to help which made our holiday easy and stress free. Would love to visit again.
Cons: Nothing, we had a great stay A tip would be to take ear plugs as the streets outside can be noisy from the mopeds. This would be the same for any Riad in the medina

this Riad is beautifully decorated, very clean, comfortable and the personnel is friendly and very helpful. it is situated in the heart of the Medina. We had delicious meals made by two wonderful cooks. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful and varied with local breads, jams, honey and local amlou, a mix of almond butter, honey and argan oil. There were also fruit, cheese, eggs and a choice of tea and coffee. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of hot water which is not always the case in Morocco. Simo, Rachid, Aziz , Mouna and Sana could’nt have been more pleasant and catered to our needs.
Cons: Not much. It took a bit of sleuthing to figure out how to charge our phones as some electrical outlets are dependent on the light switches being turned on so we had to make sure our electronics were plugged into the correct sockets.

Breakfast was taken by the pool, with morning flower smell. Everyday there was different break types, different jams and fruits available.
Cons: Having other meals besides breakfast is a bit complicated.

Fantastic genuine Riad, well positioned in the Medina and full of charm and authenticity. It was a calm oasis and a perfect place to relax and chill after a busy day sightseeing. Simo and Rashid were brilliant and they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and get the most out of our stay.
Cons: nothing much except the bed was a little uncomfortable, but I am being fussy.

Riad du Ciel is a wonderful place. It is an oasis of calm and peace in the buzzy Medina. The patio and the Riad are beautiful and very tastefully decorated. We were served an excellent, home made breakfast in the patio every morning. There is a beautiful roof terrace overlooking Marrakech. The best thing about our stay was the staff. SiMo, Rachid, Aziz and everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They really went out of their way to make us feel at home and shared many great insights and tipps about Morocco. We will return to Riad du Ciel when back in Marrakech and I can highly recommend the place. We had an amazing time there.
Cons: Nothing. It was great.

Breakfast was very nice, a bit of variation everyday. Rachid was very helpful in organising a day trip and also transport from and to the airport.
Cons: The lighting in the room des etoiles is quite weak and could be warmer. But I’m really nitpicking here.

Me and my girl really enjoyed staying at this hotel! This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. Get the true Marrakech experience in this amazing riad. The location is great and easy walk to everything in the medina. Great restaurants and cafes all around and easy access to taxi stand. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to provide us great service. A highly recommend.

Breakfast really nice, accommodating staff who gave us breakfast flexibly in the mornings. Rooms clean and serviced each day. Organised some day activities for us and helpfully showed us map. Nice touch of tea on arrival.
Cons: Bed was not too comfy - advertised as large double but 2 twin beds put together and hard mattress (in superior double room). At night, did feel a little unsafe at times in the area (not to do with the property)!

Staff was really really nice ans polite. They helped us with the directions and anything we could have ever wanted. There was really nice atmoshpere and room was really clean. Cleaning lady did awesome job, probs to her! Breakfast was good and traditional. Locations was great, pretty close to the center of medina. Ask some tea in the evening and spend some time drinking it next to the lit fireplace, it's awesome. We also heard from other guests, that they had new years dinner made by the hosts, that's next level. I would recommend this place to anyone anytime!

The riad is very well located for the souk and local restaurants. We opted for the large suite which was huge with an amazing bathroom and the piece de resistance with this room was the private roof terrace and plunge pool, perfect for the hot Moroccan weather. But above all was the staff. Simo and Rachid were both extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The lady behind the scenes who made it all happen was seldom seen but was truly lovely on the occasions we did see her and she keeps the riad in perfect order.

This is a stunningly beautiful and elegant property, incredibly comfortable and spacious. The attention to detail in the ceilings, doors, armoires, chairs, bathroom and common rooms gave the place an enchanting charm. Breakfast was luxurious. The staff went beyond expectations to ensure we were well cared for, comfortable and safe, which created an oasis amidst the madness of Marrakesh.
Cons: The shower in our room drained slowly, which was a minor inconvenience. Aside from that, everything about Riad du Ciel was truly perfect.

Staff were nice and kind. Mohammed (manager) was waiting outside of the property when our taxi arrived. He greeted us with welcome tea and traditional Moroccan sweets. He showed us all the rooms in the Riad. He gave us clear direction to surrounding area and some sightseeing points. All the rooms were very spacious, beautifully decorated in Moroccan arts. There were 7 of us and we had privacy in each room. We were surprised how clean all the rooms and bathrooms were. Our grandsons enjoyed the pool even though it was small. Moroccan breakfast were served for breakfast along with coffee, fresh orange juice, attay (mint tea), fresh fruits. The table was set up beautifully. They provided big size water bottle in each room. Fresh roses were in the rooms as well. Our rooms were cleaned while were gone to lunch. We basically stayed at the property except going out for lunch and dinner because all of us liked it and felt like our own home. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We will definitely be back in the future. Thank you Mohammed and other staff (lady who prepared our breakfast) and gentlemen who worked night shift. We give you top rate!! From Yi Dynasty!

Simo, Rashid, and the team are lovely! Warm and helpful. And the Riad itself is lovely. Please note that although it is technically in the medina, it is rather well removed from most of the sights and activities.
