Rekommenderas varmt!

How warm and lovely Ahmed and Abdullah were. They literally accommodate all of our needs and wishes. They really went above and beyond. Caring for us like family and making sure we had the best time. Their boss should give them a raise
Cons: WiFi was a little weak and the shower was not great but I think that might be a problem in Marrchech in general as we stayed in a couple of places where we experienced the same problem.

It was a beautiful place to stay - the roof terrace was the icing on the cake. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The food was excellent and we ate there every night. Ahmed and Abdullah were super friendly and very attentive. We had a wonderful stay there. Would definitely recommend this place if you want the authentic Morocco experience.
Cons: It says there’s a pool but it’s more like a plunge pool not a swimming pool but to be honest we didn’t miss it.

Super consigliato!

It was a lovely place to be! The beds were comfy, it was clean and smelled lovely everywhere, the food was the best we tasted in marrakech, the staff were discreet but attentive (more so than many 5 star hotels I’ve stayed at.) the pool was beautiful at the end of a busy afternoon in the souks. We were always greeted with an ice cold drink or a mint tea.
Cons: The shower could have been more powerful, but I’m not sure if that’s possible in the medina!

Beautiful Riad, the interieur, the room and bathroom, the roof terrace. All clean. Room was cleaned everyday, everyday clean towels. Everything was excellent. The Riad is on an excellent location, quiet small streets take you to the Riad (on the way over you will meet all the friendly locals), still in the heart of the Medina. Souks, shops and restaurants are right there. Plenty of sightseeing within walking distance. Centre square is a little further away, about 20 minutes walk. Nice to go there for a night, but for us the centre square was not the best part of Marrakech anyway. Great friendly staff, top service, great food (breakfast was good, fresh cooked and sufficient, dinner was the best we had in Marrakech on the Riad’s rooftop with great view!) Book your excursions at the riad, you will get the best experiences and it is not more expensive than booking elsewhere. We booked a half day tour through the Medina with the best guide ever. We had a great 1/2 day trip to dessert included quad drive, camel ride, dinner show with live Berber music and closing the night with a fire show, only €35,- each). Also we booked a trip to the Atlas Mountains and waterfalls, which was great, though €50,- each seems to be a little overpriced, compared to the other excursions.. Will definitely come back and bring our kids when they are old enough to visit the wonderful city of Marrakech. Thank you Abdellah and Ahmed for the wonderful stay!
Cons: The room (I believe all rooms) can not be locked from the outside when you leave the room. We were told that this was just the way it is. We felt save at the Riad, so we did not really bother.

Every room, every detail was a design mecca. The architecture, the colors, the decorations, the artwork, the furniture, the doors, the pool hats, the aromatic smell of tea and flowers...everything was stunning. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful. The staff was available for every question and need I had, in person and via WhatsApp (I had plenty of questions as it was my first time to Marakkesh so I wasn't familiar with anything). They took care of every detail, even arranging a taxi at 4:30am!

The Riad was beautifully decorated & unbelievably clean. After a hot day exploring Marrakesh the air conditioned room & incredible shower was very welcome. The rooftop chill space was also amazing at both sunrise & sunset.
Cons: Nothing. The location is right in the middle of the Medina so there are a few twists & turns to reach it but nothing you can’t handle with the map & directions from the Riad team.

We stayed as a group of 4 girls at Riad144 in May. Before we arrived we had all information provided by the staff and also arranged a transfer from the airport and back. Great was, that our baggage was picked up by the staff. From the last point where a vehicle can reach, you walk approx 5 minutes to the Riad. At Apple Maps the location is exact and shows the correct entrance. We arrived very late and were happy that the check in was really fast. The Riad itself is beautiful and located great. 5 min walk until the beginning of the souks around the djema el fnaa. The property is designed beautifully and there are three rooftop areas that we all loved and enjoyed. The breakfast was really delicious and the staff was super friendly. The only downside would be the overall property conditions. Nice to know would be that the rooms at the Riad cannot be locked. At night, you could lock from the inside with a bolt, but at day, it was kind of accessible to everybody. That was something that we did not enjoy. We also had a smell from the bathroom (kind of usual for a lot of countries, but still not super enjoyable). The lighting was also really dark in the room, but this could have been just our room. At the bigger suite it should be known that the stairs in the room had no protection, so a no go with children. The staff was very nice, absolutely warming. A special thank you goes to Ahmed. He was very nice, very helpful and always provided great information and tips!

A tastefully decorated riad. Lovely clean room, relaxing terrace, fabulous breakfast & super friendly staff. All of the team was so helpful and super attentive throughout our stay. They really went above and beyond and sang happy birthday to me with cake on my birthday. Ahmed was always 1 message away whenever we were outside and had any questions. Henna at the riad was also kindly arranged. Thank you Ahmed and the staff, we really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: location a little bit out the way. got lost the first couple of times as streets were like a maze. Locals would sometimes follow us. Got used to the location after 2 days of using maps

From the minute we walked through the doors of Riad 144, we as a group of five friends were treated like Royalty, & we felt we were in our home away from home…All the staff were lovely & we were always greeted with a smile…Abdul was exceptional, nothing was too much bother for him & he was readily available at any time of the day or night.. We were going on a sunrise hot air balloon trip & he got up at 4.30am to make sure all went well with our pick up.. We had a three course meal in the Riad on one of the nights & I highly recommend booking this.. It was the tastiest & most reasonably priced meal we had when compared to other restaurants. We paid much more expensive & it was no where near as nice. Breakfast was plentiful & delicious with freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruits, eggs & fabulous cinnamon toast.. There is a beautiful rooftop area where you can have your breakfast or lay out enjoying the sun.. A swimming pool is advertised but this is where I drop a point in my review as it is more a plunge pool but either way this would not deter myself or any of my friends from staying here again, as I said we felt it was our home away from home.
Cons: We honestly had no negatives about our stay but an outdoor plunge pool would be nice, just to have a dip to cool down from the heat

The only think I liked about the Riad, was its breakfast, It was good, also the bed was confortable and the room spacious.
Cons: This review is going to be a little bit tricky, first of all, when we arrived all the staff was very attentive and welcoming, Ahmed and Abdul, we choose the carbon room and unfortunately the room had a very disgusting pipe odor, I informed that the next day to Ahmed and he tried to solved it, Although he could not because the problem was structural, not cosmetic. Everything went OK until our last day. We arrived at the Riad very late, around 21:30 after strolling around the city all day, and unfortunately I saw that my luggage had been unlocked and we were stolen 650 USD and all my clothes were messed up, I really felt violated!! I immediately informed this to Abdul and then all the kindness either from Ahmed and Abdul disappear, they didn't want to offer any solution, not either listen to our complaints. They suggested that my daughter had stollen the money and bought an iPhone, and so on, I had no other choice than to go to the police and make a report and also contact Booking assistance (which by the way, they could offer some solution), but this whole problem, left us with a very bad taste, our Essaouira vacation was not so good because we had this problem in the mind, Also we lost half a day in all the police process resulting in checking very late to our Agafar retreat. I really don't recommend at all Riad 144, because when the kindness needs to be present is when the problems apear. Also the location is not very good, at night we confused one turn and end up in an alley with 5 drug dealers.

the stuff was nice and tried to help as they could . the breakfast was delicious and fresh made . the location is good
Cons: but Riad needs to renew a lot of things. First thing, the towels are very, very old and worn , the room needs . The room and its bathroom need a deep cleaning from a special cleaning company instead of an unqualified worker to clean it ( my room was a beldi room ) the coffee machine and the coffee machine and its cups need to be on a special tray and not directly on the refrigerator. the roof needs to be cleaned it's all about the maintenance , cleaning, and fixing the old stuff

The staff here went above and beyond, their hospitality was the highlight of our trip! Especially preparing us meals with particular dietary requirements at late notice, and on Eid! Wonderful place with a stunning view from the rooftop. Enjoyed all my time here with exceptional breakfast. There's also a gym, a Moroccan hamam and a massage within the building which is also cheaper compared to other places. We arrived into Marrakech by train and were met at the station, as arranged with Riad 144. We were then smoothly escorted into the medina on foot and welcomed to the riad - a cool, light, spacious environment which immediately made us feel peaceful. After mint tea, we were given a tour of the riad, then shown to our room which was lovely - as light and spacious as the riad itself, with a very nice bathroom and all boxes ticked for things like lighting, sockets, water etc. The roof terrace is especially nice at Riad 144 and we chilled out on the loungers after exploring the medina. If you were here for longer, this would be a wonderful place to relax between trips out into the hustle and bustle of the medina. We enjoyed a 2-night stay and found it an extremely comfortable base. Breakfast was fantastic - breads, fruit, coffee, juice and eggs - and Abdul looked after us brilliantly, with nothing too much trouble. The location, in relation to walking to everything, is great too.
Cons: Nothing

Riad 144 is a little gem, tucked away down an alleyway, it is an oasis of calm and tranquility. All the staff were lovely but a special mention for the managers, Ahmed and Abdul, as nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was plentiful & delicious and the perfect way to start the day and the 3 course evening meal we had on the first night was just as good if not better than the expensive restaurant a couple of alleyways away. We treated ourselves to a Hammam & Massage which was an experience in itself, but left us feeling squeaky clean and relaxed. I would highly recommend staying here if visiting Marrakesh
Cons: The 2 single beds were quite narrow and a bit hard for my liking (as was the pillow) and the constant music did become a bit grating - however these are minor points in an otherwise perfect stay.

From the moment we arrived at Riat 144 we felt honoured guests. Ahmed and Abdul were warm, polite, courteous, helpful and made our stay there a hassel free experience. Ahmed took the time to give a quick overview of Marrakesh on our arrival over a glass of mint tea, pointing out some of its highlights and good places to eat and drink. We had a meal in the restaurant on our arrival which was amazing. The breakfast was fabulous, a variety of fruit, bread, fruit juice, savoury dishes and coffee or tea, which set us up for a day walking through the Medina and Souk. The room and bed were wonderfully comfortable as was the relaxed vibe of the Riad itself. We would definitely recommend it to family and friends.
Cons: Can't think of anything negative.

My stay at Riad 144 was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped through its doors, I found myself in an oasis of tranquility amidst the vibrant energy of the medina. The staff made every moment special, but I must give special recognition to Ahmed, whose hospitality, warmth, and unwavering attentiveness truly set this experience apart. His personalized service and genuine care for guests made my stay even more memorable. One of the highlights of my visit was the breakfast, which was not only exquisite but also incredibly flexible. Each morning, I was delighted with a selection of fresh, high-quality products, carefully prepared and served in a charming setting. The ability to tailor the breakfast to my preferences and schedule was a thoughtful touch that I deeply appreciated. The cleanliness of the riad was impeccable, both in the rooms and in the common areas. It is clear that great care is taken in every detail, ensuring a sense of absolute comfort. The rooms, in addition to being perfectly maintained, strike a perfect balance between authenticity and modernity, featuring a sober and elegant décor that honors Moroccan heritage without being overwhelming. The common spaces of the riad are equally impressive. From the enchanting interior courtyard to the rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the city, every corner is designed to invite relaxation and reflection. The décor, with carefully selected traditional touches, beautifully highlights Morocco’s rich culture while maintaining harmony and sophistication. In short, Riad 144 is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience in itself. The combination of outstanding hospitality, an unmatched breakfast, impeccable cleanliness, and an elegant ambiance makes this riad a perfect choice for anyone seeking an authentic and delightful stay in Marrakech. Highly recommended!
Cons: If I had to suggest one potential area for improvement, it would be the gym’s equipment, which could be upgraded to enhance the experience for guests who enjoy working out during their travels.

We enjoyed our stay in Riad 144 a lot. Abdellah is an amazing host. It made us feel at home, providing a real Morocco experience. The Riad is beautiful with an amazing rooftop terrace, and it even has a small fitness room.
Cons: maybe the location. We arrived at night, and going from the taxi to the Riad it's hard without assistance, more indications could have been provided to us. Maybe something to manage better for the next customers.

Loved the breakfast, the rooftop, the tortoise, the staff, the rooms, the decor, the whole riad really!! We found it so comfortable & peaceful. Abdul & Ahmed were brilliant hosts that went over & above to look after us all.
Cons: We would of liked to have done the cookery class but with 4 of us it would of been expensive. Had it just been the 2 of us we might of indulged. We did have the home cooked dinner though & it was wonderful! We thought the location was a little intimidating at first, but we got used to it, it's at least out of the way of the chaos nearby!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Riad 144. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with tea, biscuits, and a friendly conversation. Abdul and Ahmed supported us in every need throughout our time at Riad 144. For example, if we needed an early breakfast, extra drinks at any time of the day, recommendations or taxis they were immediately available and helpful. The other staff, including Aisha, Karima and Faachi were lovely, patient and helpful. Overall it was quiet, relaxed, characterful and beautiful. The rooftop sunrises and sunsets and lazy hot afternoons (even in January!) were perfect. It really felt like a home from home. We plan to return.
Cons: Very cold courtyard + rooms when we arrived so we could have some with a bit more warmth in our room, if possible!

The design and ambience is excellent. The staff are attentive and polite, the food is excellent, the room is the perfect size and the style and feel are great. The beds are comfortable and the shower pressure is good. I'm not going to put anything in the 'what didn't you like' box, because I loved this place, but I will say that it's a bugger to find (when you go out in the evening maybe put chalk marks on the alley walls? Bread crumbs would be eaten by the cats. Maybe its just me) in a maze of alleys. But this also adds to its character, so.... The gym needs some updating: I didn't use it, and I love a gym.

Beautiful Riad! Clean, comfortable with an amazing decoration, having plenty of different spots to chill. Within a short walk you are in the medina. Good breakfast that you can take in different places, including the incredible terrace. Fast internet. A bottle of water per day. We recommend booking your taxi thru Riad 144, otherwise it really isn't easy to arrive if you take your own means. Ahmed is very responsive on WhatsApp and all team are always available and willing to do their best. They offered breakfast on our arrival day, that was really conforting.
Cons: Don'ts Would recommend having some kind of bedroom lock (from the outside). Would make us feel more comfortable when leaving the Riad because not all items fit in the cofre. Would also recommend having a water/economy saving process so clients could choose to have there towels replaced daily or not. Otherwise it is an excessive environmental waste.

We had a great time at Riad 144 in the heart of Marrakech's Medina. It's an incredibly calm & cozy place in the crowdy area of Marrakech's Old Town. Ahmed & his team were extremely courteous, friendly and really helpful with enjoying and exploring the city. Riad 144 is a beautiful place to stay and relax after an exhausting trip through the Souks. There's no better way to start a the day than with a tasty breakfast and a short refesh in the riad's pool.

the staff was super friendly and accomodating. although you do not have the riad to yourself it feels like you do. the property is beautiful, anything we needed we were able to get. breakfast was great, so was the airport pick up and when we asked to have a new room because we didnt like the size of the first one they were very kind and accommodating.
Cons: you can hear the other guests easily which is sometimes annoying if they are making a lot of noise in the morning but that is an issue with the other guests not the riad itself.

This is a four-story Riad (garden in the court yard) traditional Arabic home. The bedrooms are from the ground level to the third level. The ground level has the office, kitchen, dining room. There also a garden with a resting area, and a small pool court yard. The latter is separated with others by a gateway. There is a rooftop resting/ entertaining / dining area that can look around the Marrakech up to the mountains and desert. Due to the city buildings, unfortunately, the sunrise and sunset are not that spectacular. The staff are great but the location is a little far to most want-to-visit areas.

We adore riad144 in its whole. We were well taken care of and made to feel very welcome by Ahmed and Momo, who were really helpful. Ahmed and Momo's hospitality has truly amazed us. They assisted with our luggages and picked us up and dropped us off at the taxi stand. The riad is immaculate and charming, featuring a large dining room for our meals, a beautiful TV room, and a stunning seating space for coffee or tea. The rooftop area is particularly outstanding with much space and an amazing view. The beds are really comfortable. The riad made a particular effort to set up an extremely early breakfast for us on the day we had to depart early for our trip and prepared some fruits for us to bring along our tour. On our last day, they even made us a sandwich to take on our flight. Additionally, they not only booked us dinner reservations at restaurants but also gave us a tonne of advice on where to go. Lastly, our three-course dinners at the riad were especially delicious and special. The location of the riad is perfect. The airport and main attraction are both very close by. To anyone looking for a traditional Moroccan homely experience with excellent hospitality, we wholeheartedly recommend this Riad. It's also an extremely peaceful spot.

The perfect stay. List of the incredible highlights of Riad 144: - Ahmed and Abdul are the kindest and most hospitable hosts. They would go out of their way, sleep very little hours etc to make sure you are having a good time. And also all the ladies working, from the marvellous cook to the cleaning team. Always with a smile, not overdoing it. A real pleasure to be around them. - Everything is homemade. From the incredible crepes and french toast to the jams and marmalades, that are cooking during the day by their amazing lady chef. The dinners are also highly recommended, real true home cooking with care and love. - the subtle piano music playing in the background at the right time of the day. And the birds singing in the morning. - the rooftop and it's various corners fro tanning, reading, relaxing, drinking tea. - The size of the rooms, the mattress, the water pressure. All is top! - The hammam is so nice as well. Simple, clean and easy. - The location is great too. Not too central to avoid the craziness, but close enough as 6 min walk in the tiny fresh Medina streets and you are at the heart of the action. Very very nice place.

Ahmed and the team were just terrific, great welcome and tour of the riad, and particularly liked the way he took time to annotate our map and talk us through the different areas and arrangements of Marrakech, he always asked us our plans and gave us excellent advice. Breakfast service was very efficient, they even started earlier one day as we had an early tour booked we said we would be happy if they left some fruit but they insisted on us having a full breakfast. The rooftop dinner was superb, and Ahmeds recommended restaurants were all spot on. Always quick to offer us a refreshing drink and a quick chat whenever we arrived back from our travels. The room was massive , with a huge bath and the rain shower must have been a good 15 feet above the bath, lobby and plunge pool area were picturesque ( it is a plunge pool and isn't heated ) roof top area has loads of room with loads of seating/lounging spots.
Cons: There was very little to mention I would probably say on first impressions the area around the Riad seemed a little run down. I would have to say if we hadn't arranged the pick up from the airport we probably would have thought we had wandered into the wrong area. However after a couple of trips in and out of the Riad we had no apprehension at all , and its clear it is a very safe neighbourhood, ideally placed near a taxi rank, ATM and some local kiosks and judging from the tourists we saw in the surrounding area I think there must be quite a few riads catering to tourists in the surrounding streets. So my advice is not to have any concern as you are walking to the Riad but just enjoy a slice of authentic Marakech.

Our room, the barber suite was very bright, lots of windows, lovely lounge area and we loved our bed with a beautiful brass freestanding bath tub.
Cons: Few minors, the tv didn’t work but we didn’t really mind we only wanted it for some background music. The sink tap was leaking a little. The way to the Riad was a bit tricky at first.

It’s a lovely Riad, great location, after a day or too, you realise most places are within a 20 min walking radius. The rooftop terrace is lovely for breakfast and evening drinks. Dinner at the Riad is definitely recommended, we arrived around 6, so booked dinner for 8. There’s a restaurant around the corner, which is amazing, Ahmed the host will tell you about it. There is also a nice Hamman close by called Mythic Oriental Spa, well worth a visit.
Cons: A large pool would have been nice after a hot day out but you don’t expect that in a Riad.

Ahmed and Abdul were amazing hosts. They made us feel so welcome and we immediately felt at home. The Riad is such a serene and calming environment in a totally bonkers city. We loved the almost complete silence at night, waking to the gentle sound of birdsong. Breakfast on the rooftop was lovely and cooked to order every day. Absolutely nothing was too much to ask. Ahmed took time to explain to us all about the sites in Marrakesh which was a huge help.
Cons: It was a bit chilly in the room at night but there was a small heater which helped. There was an open fire at night in the courtyard and whilst this is lovely to sit by with a glass of wine in the evening, it did make our room a bit smokey from time to time. Noise in these Riads does travel and whilst it was silent and serene most of the time, the cleaners did wake us up most mornings around 8.00 even though they tried to be as quiet as they could.

The location is just perfect. Not too far from anywhere, close to some fabulous restaurants...but quiet enough to be away from any main roads for a tranquil space. Ahmed is a lovely host and gives you the most personal service, even walking us down to the hammam and telling us what we needed to pay and offering some footwear to take with us. This is a beautiful Riad tucked out of the way and has been designed beautifully. Our room was like a work of art and the roof terrace and courtyards are the most amazing spaces to relax and chill-out. If you just want a place to unwind, this is it. It was about a 20 min walk to the centre but was a lovely winding route through the souks and medina dependent on the route you took. We always felt safe walking around here as a family. The breakfast was great as well and I loved coming back to the Riad after the hustle-bustle of Marrakesh. Altogether a fantastic stay for our family and thank you to Ahmed and the team.

We got moved to a lovely big en suite room because the first room had a connecting door to the next room and you could hear those guests speaking very clearly, so thanks for moving us. The roof terrace a lovely place to have breakfast. Enjoyed watching the house buntings, pretty little birds. Decent breakfasts. We ate two evening meals, the first one was sublime, the second less good so maybe it was a different chef. Special mentions to Abdul and the day manager Ahmed for all their efforts on our behalf and for having the patience to answer all my many questions, especially about the vehicle pollution in the city, and for all the various pointers and help they gave us in so many ways. Super comfy beds. Unsweetened orange juice for breakfast, hurrah! Pretty easy walk to the souks, beyond and north to the amazing Majorelle garden, one of the three jewels of Marrakach, the others being Ben Youssef medersa and the photography museum.
Cons: The call to prayer is something you have to plan around, it's just best to go to sleep before 10pm as it starts just before 6 and lasts at least 18 minutes. It's far less noticeable on the ground floor. We eventually got unsweetened yoghurt for breakfast. Most riads supply it as a default, full fat plain yoghurt is plenty sweet enough for most people these days I think... And there is always honey to add if someone wants, so I'd suggest they make that a permanent feature. Cheese would be a good option at breakfast, otherwise everything is sweet or sweetened. Otherwise, the only issue with Marrakech is the relentless motor traffic and clouds of exhaust smoke from mopeds that are permitted to go straight through most of the souks. After the tranquillity of Fes and Essaouira, it's a bit of a shock to the system and no one with asthma should consider travelling to the city I think. Hotels should put pressure on the authorities to take action. Marrakech is remarkable and vivid and bursting with life, but it could be 100pc better in terms of a living urban space.

OOOOHH It was Amazing!! I have stayed in many very nice riads before but nothing compared to Riad 144. My first surprise was Amed who met me at the car. He was so nice and warm, kind, helpful and friendly, I started to get supicious if he was someone trying to lure me off or rip me off or sell me something. He walked with me all the way through the neighborhood and showed me all the marks to find my way in and out of the neighborhood and at arrival made my checkin so comfortable, I felt at home at once! Room was beautiful, staff kind ,friendly, lovely ladies. the view on the garden so lovely. Ohh and the Roof top wow! The staff were lovely, very kind and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Comfy beds and nice rooftop terrace.
Cons: Location was tricky. Can’t get a car/taxi anywhere near so had to navigate dark alleys, where gps didn’t work, every night where we were constantly hassled by people offering hash and telling us we were going the wrong way, trying to charge us for directions. Pool was quite grubby and unuseable, but maybe because we went in February.

Beautiful relaxing space with any comfort you may need to make your stay perfect. All the people working at the riad were extremely kind and ready to help and made our stay really wonderful. The breakfast is sublime and abundant. Always some sweet and fruits for us in the room. Ahmed helped us finding nice places to go out and for tour. We would for sure come back and can highly recommend the Riad 144!

beautiful interior, nice room, scenic rooftop and the staff/team at Riad 144 went out of their way to make our experience of Morocco amazing!
Cons: Location was a wee walk away from the nearest hub in the Medina, and the side streets and back alleys on the way to the Riad were a little scary at first, but soon you’ve built up the confidence and realise it is totally fine!

Beautiful Riad! The staff was super friendly and the service was excellent. The chef is very talented, we enjoyed our meals very much. Great decor and lots of nice sitting areas, whether on the terrace in the sun for breakfast or in front of the fireplace for an aperitif. We loved it!
Cons: Walking to the Riad is a little adventurous as it is in a very quiet and untouristy area and parts of the walk is not very well lit. Nevertheless, it is still a beautiful oasis when opening the door to the Riad and therefore super quiet at night.

Staff kindly provided a bunch of flowers on our celebration day.
Cons: Breakfast was OK. Not much choice. We had arranged an early breakfast for our departure at 8am. No staff in sight anywhere as we left. The airport transfer for which we paid 15 Euros did not happen. Although its in the Medina, it is not central and access is tortuous and at times dark.

Hotel is very good. It has character and atmosphere - as does the location in the Medina. It is far preferable to a standard US tourist hotel. Breakfast was excellent - especially taken on the roof terrace. My wife and daughter really enjoyed the massage which the hotel arranged. We chose to be met at the airport - good decision! I definitely recommend this. We also chose to have the first night's meal at the hotel - again I would recommend this if you arrive late as we did. Dinner was good and not massively expensive. However, had we arrived earlier, then I would recommend eating in the Medina - probably in the main square. More atmosphere - and it's a bit cheaper (but not significantly)
Cons: The hotel is in the Medina - it's hard to find! That's what the Medina is! Google maps does not really work. It's slightly intimidating. However I'd recommend the Medina because it is an interesting experience.

We had the best stay at the Riad! Arriving from Agadir a cab driver was arranged for us to take us straight to Riad 144. The staff answered all our questions and gave great suggestions on what to do and where to eat out each day. Though their tajine poulet au citron was the best we had so far. Having a big breakfast on top of the terrace each day, overlooking the city, was just perfect. Thank you for you hospitality and taking such good care of us!

This was our favourite stay in our Morocco trip. The riad is beautiful with many superb facilities ranging from spa, gym, hammam, movie room, several lounges and more. There was an open fire in one of the lounges every evening. The staff was knowledgable and helpful. Special thanks to Ahmed who personally delivered my IPhone charger, which i had forgotten at check out, to the other side of the Medina.

The hosts of Riad144 truly make an effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable - day in and day out. They are very helpful and knowledgeable with regards to sightseeing, dining out, and activities, and they are willing to help you make reservations and bookings. They are gracious hosts who welcome you with open arms, striking the perfect balance between helpful and attentive, whilst giving you your privacy and space to relax. The rooftop terrace was a great place to eat breakfast, catch the sunset, and just escape the hustle of Marrakech. We took a cooking experience with the in-house chef, which was a lot of fun!
Cons: I believe this is a point around most of Marrakech, but the requirement of the Riad to pay final bills in cash is sometimes tricky for a digital-forward world. Not all banks work well for European debit cards - they either have small limits for how much you can take out, or don't accept the cards at all.

I have never stayed in such a wonderful place as this before. Everything was fantastic, from the room to the breakfast on the rooftop. Thankyou Ahmed and Abdul for your hospitality as well as all your tips! When looking for a place to stay, I needed somewhere with good internet because I had to spend some time working. The riad has strong wifi which supported video meetings.
Cons: Everything was great

We spent 2 nights in the “secret room”. Very confortable beds. Nicely decorated riad. Pleasant atmosphere. But what really makes the difference is Ahmed and all the staff. They were all extremely friendly, always ready to help, really ensuring that the guests are happy. Ahmed has been amazing at arranging everything we needed (restaurants, hammam, taxi etc). He is such a nice and professional person. He made our stay simply perfect. Just make sure you book the airport transfer as suggested by Ahmed because it is not easy to find :)
Cons: Not much to say here! Everything was great !

Riad 144 is beautiful traditional Moroccan building with gorgeous rooftops and courtyards. We enjoyed sitting next to small pool in the evening having Moroccon tea. And our room was out of a fairytale, with a spectacular roof and so many tasteful details. We enjoyed our breakfast, with eggs, pancakes, sweet yoghurt, three times of jams, fruit and fresh orange juice and a choice of hot drinks. Genuine Moroccan hospitality is the essence of this place. Ahmed, Abdul and the ladies took care of us in a way that will stay with us. On the first day Ahmed gave us a detailed briefing of what to see and where to go. He walked with us to show us the way around. Every day he gave us several tips and helped us with our daily itinerary. Abdul looked after us so well, with luggage and gave us tea at odd hours and was always helpful. The ladies cooked a gorgeous breakfast for us every morning and ensured our room was clean daily.
Cons: There was no key or lock to our room, but we quickly got used to it; as the room offered a safe and the staff took care of us like we are guests in someone's house. The property can provide better pillows, though. They can also invest in coffee and machine, as some guests will appreciate having different types of coffee in the morning.

Thanks to Ahmed and his team, we had an amazing week in Marrakesh! They made us feel welcome and at home and they supported us to make the best of our stay. For example by helping us find our way in the medina and making reservations for dinner and day trips. We definetely recommend this place if you like a relaxing atmosphere beside the busy medina streets. We look forward to come back in the future.

the riad is super beautiful and comfortable. the terrace is perfect to enjoy breakfast or even a romantic dinner (the food is made by a great chef). The room was big and beautifully decorated. The staff was the highlight of the stay. Everyone is willing to help you to make your stay memorable. We did the hammam and it was also a great experience. I completely recommend this riad, you won't regret it.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.

Stunning Moroccan style throughout the Riad, and even the glorious rooftop garden. An oasis of tranquility in the madness of the Marrakesh Medina. Fantastically looked after by the lovely Ahmed, who told us all the best places to get, and how everything works on this magical city.

This was my first experience in a Riad and it was a unique one. What I liked? 1) Traditional setting. A very home like feeling 2) Friend staff - Eric & his staff are super What I didnt like? 1) Marrakech Medina is claustrophobic and you have to walk a lot. if you have mobility issue i will not recommend 2) Breakfast included should offer a broader variety without extra charges
