The riad is very beautiful, well maintained and when you step in it is immediately calm and relaxing, a nice contrast from the craziness of Jemaa el Fnaa. We stayed in a lovely ground floor room, which was well sized, and always beautifully cleaned by the housekeepers. All the staff were friendly, very polite and the door was always answered promptly. There are two cats which hang out on the motorbikes just by the doors which is also lovely. We sat up for a few afternoons on the terrace, and were brought mint tea which was lovely. Breakfast was always fantastic, and very generous. The location is also excellent, you can walk to every central tourist attraction easily, and pop back in and out of the riad during the day with only a minutes diversion.
Cons: The only difficulty with the room was that the lighting was very dim, which is excellent for vibes and more difficult for makeup, but we managed fine! We had dinner at the riad, which was fine, but nothing particularly amazing or special. We had one bad experience coming into the riad from the street with some particularly bad catcalling etc. and decided if it happened again we would have to ask to be walked in/out, but actually it seemed to be a one off and not a regular occurrence and we just got unlucky (we are also two young female travellers together which makes this much more likely).

Delicious breakfast and cookies with tea upon arrival! Location is spot on, few mins walk from the main square. Probably the best wifi I've had in Morocco.
Cons: My bedroom was a bit dark due to lack of lights but was manageable. Pressure of the tap in the sink a bit low.

This Riad is more than just a place to sleep. Mohammad was very nice and helpful. He meet our driver and assisted us through the market to the riad. Would have been difficult to find it on our own the first time. He gave us great recommendations and a quick orientation of Marrakech old town. The Riad itself is very peaceful and beautiful. Conveniently located in the old town area. Mostly accessible by foot. The rooftop seating area is lovely. Had a nice light breakfast with tea. The room was pristine. Anything we needed, staff was more than happy to help! Would stay here again!

A perfect stay! I recommend to anyone planning a trip to Marrakesh. Staff are very helpful and friendly and made us feel at ease. The hotel arranged a transfer service from the airport. We felt very welcomed with mint tea and biscuits on our arrival. Location is ideal, tucked away down a small side street but close to the main square and all the sights in Marrakesh. Room was fantastic and very traditional. Breakfast was great too - a selection of breads/pancakes with jam, honey, olives, cheese and yoghurt. There is also the rooftop terrace perfect for watching the sunset with a drink at the end of a busy day.
Cons: Nothing it was great! Only issue was the a/c unit leaked so we had to place a cup underneath it to catch the drips

The location was perfect - right around the corner from the main square, Jemaa El Fnaa, yet far enough from the bustling streets that it was silent and peaceful. The breakfast was excellent, offering a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan dishes and familiar Western options. The room was great - large, clean, and beautifully decorated. Our host was also very accommodating and made the best mint teas we had anywhere in Morocco.

The property was well located close to the main square and right in the old city center. The hosts were very nice and helpful, providing important advice. The breakfast was delicious and it had a variety of options. The riad was nicely decorated in a traditional Moroccan style.
Cons: The cleaning of the bathroom should definitely be improved. The facilities in the bathroom were outdated: the tap at the sink and shower would block, usually on the hot water and it was almost impossible to close them; the toilet was moving when sitting on it; there was no shelf in the shower to place the shampoo and shower gel. The bedsheets with the pillows, duvet, and the towels were outdated and should definitely be replaced. Although the bedsheets were clean, under them the pillows and duvet were stained and dirty. Although the internet in the reception was working well, we barely had any signal in our room and most of the time it would not work.

Beautiful place. The best location, right in the heart of the medina but also not directly in the main square which is good. Muhammad was a great host and went above and beyond. Breakfast was perfect and there was plenty of it. I requested an egg on one of the days as I like something savoury among the mostly sweet breakfast so a little tip for those of you who are the same way inclined. Eating it next to the pool was idyllic. The bed was so comfortable and not too firm or soft - felt like a new mattress.
Cons: The only problem I had was with the water pressure when washing my hair - I have long and quite thick hair so it took a long time to get shampoo out so a warning for those with similar hair! But worth it for everything else.

The riad was beautiful, just as in the pictures. Everything was very clean both in the room and outside in the eating area. The staff was amazing, very welcoming and warm and it was always a pleasure coming back to the riad after a long day. We got good recommendations from Muhammed about restaurants and what to do. The breakfast was also very good, and the staff was kind enough to prepare something for us even before breakfast hours on the day we had an early trip. We would definitely recommend this riad.
Cons: I want to emphasise that our room was very clean. However, I think the big rugs in the rooms get easily dirty if the guests don't take their shoes off when entering the room, especially after spending the day walking around the medina. So maybe something to think about...

The staff and location are a massive hit for this Riad. Our hosts were always extremely polite and offered excellent advice about the locality, places to visit plus things to avoid and watch out for*. If you want to truly be in the centre of Medina life, this Riad location is amazing. 100m stroll and you are in the main Medina square (Jamaa El Fna) packed full of all sorts of traders and street performers. Equally, for such a short stroll you can find yourself in the labyrinth of souks (small shops) that Marrakech is famed for, just North of the main square. Le Jardin Secret is a 10min stroll away. Being in the centre of the action, there are countless restaurants in the neighbouring streets to the Riad selling good, inexpensive cuisine (approx 65/85Drm for 'Menu de Jour' - starter and main), where you can sit and watch the world go by. We took our Riad's advice and stayed clear of the main restaurants that encircle the main square which are hugely over-priced. Despite, being in the thick of the noisy Medina, this Riad is a quiet oasis with its own roof terrace where you can see the Atlas mountains and watch the sun go down over the rooftops of Marrakech. The Riad felt very safe and secure both night and day. Breakfast in the morning was traditional Moroccan style with pastries, jams, honey, olives, fruit and yogurt which you could take in the inner courtyard, your room, or the roof terrace. Eggs or an omelette were also available. *Despite its chaotic nature and extremely vibrant markets, the people of Marrakech are very polite and the traders aren't very pushy. It also felt very safe but it pays to be cautious in such a place and take good advice from the Riad. As a side note, alcohol isn't widely available and expensive in Marrakesh so we brought our own duty free to sip with coke at the Riad.
Cons: Our room was good, if a little rustic. The bed was pretty firm and the bathroom wasn't 5-star quality in finish, but the shower worked well and it was kept clean. For us, we would have liked a kettle in the room and a small fridge would have been nice. Nothing here that spoiled our stay in any way though.

Cons: Honestly I expected much more. From the photoes here on Booking I thought it's bright and shine :) but actually it is dark and old or not renovated. I don't know other rooms but I was disapointed from our. Yes, the furniture and decoration looks like the same, but unwelcoming.

This was a lovely riad very close to the main square. Our room was nicely decorated and looked exactly as it did in the photos. The staff were lovely, they were helpful, and breakfast was delicious and really nicely presented.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like, except to say that I wish we had known in advance to expect to cross the square on foot and negotiate the crowded allies with our luggage when arriving from the airport. This was our first time in Marrakech and so we didn't realise this was the case, but that is our fault, not the riad's.

It is really conveniently located to the medina however off a small street so it is fairly quiet. the staff was incredible and were really lovely to chat with. the rooms were comfortable and were beautifully decorated. The pool is a fairly large plunge pool and altalthough we didn't use it was really clean.
Cons: it wasn't a real issue but Wifi was a bit slow however really want a problem.

Best thing about the Riad is both Mohammed’s. Always there to help and make your stay as comfortable as they can. We enjoyed the late night chats learning about your stories and culture. They are a credit to the Riad and should be giving a pay rise! Take care guys and hopefully we will be back in the future. On another note rooms were cleaned everyday and great breakfast. Thanks again, Cristina and Gavin. ☺️

I loved the location and the fact that it was easy to find. Despite it being in a really busy section of the market, you couldn’t hear a single thing at night, we had a peaceful night sleep. Staff were more than friendly, nothing was too much trouble, they were falling over there feet to help where they could. I’ll be telling my friends about this place. Oh and brekkie was good too!

Thank you Mohammed, Mohammed and the ladies for taking such good care of us ! The riad is such a nice quiet place in a buzzling city. Very close by the Jamaa el Fnaa square. Everybody who works there is very friendly, wants to help out, booking hammams and even bring us there, transport to and from the airport, checking in if we're Ok. Breakfast is delicous, every day something else. So we very much recommendend a stay in Riad Irhalne !

It's a beautiful traditional building with lovely rooms and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were collected at the airport by a driver, and all our bags carried for us to the hotel entrance, and we were greeted with mint tea and a talk about what we should do (and which scams to avoid!) in Marrakech along with a helpful map and tips for where to change money and have dinner that night. Everyone at Riad Irhalne really went above and beyond to help us and even made special corn flatbreads (harcha maïs) for my coeliac husband so that he could eat a good breakfast. The staff were all so impressive in their command of multiple languages - I heard them speaking excellent English, French, Spanish and Italian just in the few days we were there. Every day our room was tidied and they even folded and arranged our clothes like in the very best hotels - it was great value and we felt so well looked after. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Marrakech!

Riad Irhalne is very well located- in the Medina, next to a lively street next to the souk but in a quiet street where no noise is heard. The room and restroom were beautiful, nicer than in the pictures. The main lobby is nice. Breakfast was okay. The service, particularly the kind attention from Mohamed, was exceptional.
Cons: Breakfast could be improved, maybe with more traditional pasteries

Wow! What an amazing Riad. What really made this Riad was not the Riad itself but the amazing staff, I want to give a huge thank you to Mohamed. He went above and beyond for us, and he did it for all the other guests aswell. He always was genuine, helpful, friendly and kind to all. If I was his boss I’d give him a pay rise. The breakfast was great, and huge portions, we couldn’t even finish the food and staff made us special omelettes on request, possibly Mohamed. The staff helped sort out our luggage out of the Medina aswell which can be difficult. The Riad is located in an exceptional spot for exploring. I recommend this Riad to anyone looking for a good located Riad, with exceptional facilities and staff in Marrakesh.
Cons: Nothing at all!

The traditional Riad is a must whilst staying in Marrakech. All the staff were incredibly attentive and even made breakfast earlier than their usual times so we were fed for our early day trip. We organised another day trip through Irhalne too (this was also good). MASSIVE thanks to both Muhammad's and the cleaning ladies. All made a great trip to Marrakech even greater. The location is unreal! Literally like 3 min walk to Jemaa El-Fna and the souks, yet incredibly peaceful when inside the riad.
Cons: Unfortunately other inconsiderate guests aren't as quiet as you'd like and the main area can be quite noisy early in the morning.

I booked 2 stays for a couple of nights each in this Riad before and after my 10 day desert trip and both stays exceeded my expectations. The Riad is set in a quiet side alley, off a main busy street lined with typically Moroccan shops, eateries and other stalls, in a central, safe part of the Medina very close to Jema el Fna. Multiple alleys and streets branch off from here which makes it a perfect base from where to explore other areas of the Medina on foot. The decor of the lounge area of the Riad and the rooms is beautiful and typically Moroccan, and provides a soothing atmosphere after a day in the bustling streets. Rooms were very clean, spacious and quiet at night. Wi-Fi is very good, I was able to video-call every day with no issues. Breakfasts are a feast of flavours. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. They set up transfers for me and accompanied me out to meet the driver in days when the square was closed to traffic.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riad Irhalne. The staff went above and beyond to help us in any way that they could, giving advice on where to eat, what to do and what to be aware of in the city. As 2 young female travellers they made us feel incredibly safe and their advice was so helpful. There was mint tea to be had whenever we wanted it. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The room was clean, comfortable and serviced every day. The staff helped us to organise a hammam treatment - a highlight of our trip. The location of the Riad is in the heart of the Medina, close to Jamaa el Fna square. You really feel like you are in the heart of all the charming chaos of Marrakech but the Riad offers a peaceful escape from the bustling city. I would highly recommend Riad Irhalne and will certainly stay again when I revisit Marrakech.

Very friendly staff with helpful tips for the surrounding area Typical Moroccan and fulfilling breakfast Handy location to main road and main attraction Room size was more than enough for two people and top bathroom Smell and tidiness of the central shared area (and breakfast area) is gorgeous Very easy checkout and we left the luggages with them and went for a walk around the city, also using the toilet one more time before we left
Cons: Although the location is pretty central, we struggled to find the hotel, once we left the main road with the hotel sign, the road is full of local people/kids, but of course they are looking for money for any help, if you are struggling as well to find the hotel. Wi-Fi (if you really care about it) can be reached properly only in the common areas except the rooftop. Very poor in the room, probably because the walls are very thick If you have big luggages (the staff can definitely help with this) or mobilities issues, the stairs to reach your room can be very steep

Such a beautiful property, in a great central location. The rooms were lovely and very clean. On our first day Mohammad sat us down and gave us a map of Marrakech. He recommended restaurants, places to see and gave us general advise on the area. The staff also booked our day trips for us and could not have been more helpful. As we were two female travellers it was great that we felt so safe there, they even walked us to our taxis and advised us on local prices. 10/10.

The location was very close to the Medina but the actual Riad was quiet. All riads are quiet unless you have groups sitting around late at night, but the manager Mohamad did his best to prevent this from happening. Mohamad was exceptionally courteous, helpful and friendly. He seamlessly combined serving breakfast and checking out guests at the same time. The staff were a big plus.

What an amazing find! This riad is just beautiful. Amazing architecture, cool, welcoming pool with plenty of shade, big rooms with comfy beds and good air con (so desperately needed in my trip in a heatwave in July) unbeatable location, wonderfully friendly staff, gorgeous breakfast. On arrival in 48c heat after walking through the medina to get to the riad, I was greeted with fresh Moroccan tea and icy cold water. The wonderful staff took me through a map of Marrakech, told me which parts to avoid and the must-see parts. Just couldn’t do enough for me and were so friendly. It’s wonderfully peaceful, quiet and has a very secure feel to it, despite its amazing location smack bang in the middle of the medina. As a solo female traveller I felt welcomed and safe. I am a very frequent traveller and very rarely give anywhere a 10/10 but this was an easy 10! I will be coming back without a doubt.
Cons: It’s tough to fault this place at all but if I had to say anything I would just mention that it’s a bit tricky to find on first arrival. Was absolutely fine after realising where it was and a very minor issue.

We loved how close it was to the main square and how helpful and gracious all of the staff was. The air conditioner in the room was magnificent even in late June and the private bathroom and shower were wonderful. They served us fresh mint tea when we arrived and the breakfast of breads and jams and coffee was great. Only thing I’d note is that the pool didn’t look to be swimmable—so just know that in advance and no worries! We did notice some couples sunbathing on the roof and then likely return for a cold shower in their room which has the same effect !! Lastly, rooftop terrace had some cool views of the area.

The Riad itself is beautiful and VERY conveniently located near all the sights to see, such as Jemma el-Fna (2 min walk!), Koutoubia Mosque, and El Jardin Secret. I just stayed at the Riad Irhalne and I can't say enough good things about this property. It's right in the heart of all the action. Good food, plenty to explore within a short distance. The staff was amazing. Any time I asked for setting that they didn't have on hand they went out and about ten minutes later had it ready for me. I got sick (from a food cart) and when I was sick and throwing up the staff came to check on me and offered to call a doctor and asked if I wanted more water or anything. I was there during world cup and they had a TV and was playing all the games so we could all see. It was just a real great experience. (Even with getting sick) and would totally recommend them to anyone!! PS get the transportation from and to the airport makes life a lot easier.
