Cons: The suite we had booked was occupied when we arrived so we were given a much smaller room. The gentleman who welcomed us could not explain why there had been a mix up and told us to contact the owner. We tried to contact him by phone, email and via Booking.com message but got no response. After a couple of hours we left and found another riad and applied for a redund via Booking.com. This was issued later but with no explanation or apology. Not a great start to our holiday!

Step in off the street into an oasis of calm, in a riad with only four rooms that really feels like a family home. Excellent location in the Medina just a few minutes walk from Jemaa el Fnaa, the souks and main sights. We happily came back from sightseeing to spend a couple of hours mid-afternoon, playing cards and relaxing in the central courtyard before going out again in the evening. Lovely family room overlooking the courtyard. Friendly staff and friendly cats.

Upon arrival we were presented with Moroccan tea, and I cannot tell you how good that feels after a tiring trip. The room is large and opens up to a beautiful courtyard. The breakfast was delicious and the staff members are all so lovely and helpful. The location is superb, its close enough to access all the areas of interest, yet far enough so thats its quieter from the hustle and bustle of the medina.

Very nice rooms , good breakfast .
Cons: As soon as we arrived the staff told us that they accept only cash , and that we should go find an atm at night in order to pay . We told them that we only have card and then the owner came ( old lady from France ). The owner was very rude , she didn’t try to help and she just said “ only cash “ and left . We had to call booking in order for them to accept card . The staff was good but the owner was the rudest person we have seen in the whole trip !

The riad is in the fairly central part of the medina. The staff was friendly and I loved the birds chirping in the morning, the top terrace and the funny cat. all in all, a good price/quality, but improvements can be made...
Cons: The place could really use a refresh. our bathroom smelled horrible most of the days. not sure there's something they can do about it, probably the sewage system. however, very unpleasant. a downside is that the top terrace closes at 7PM. that's a bit of a shame, we would have loved to end the night there. so basically we didn't really use it for the time we've stayed in Marrakech. i

I liked the fact that we had a terrace, a comfortable bed, good looking bathroom, very nice staff. We could check-in couple of ours earlier and we were offered a delicious tea. Great value for the money! Great breakfast, enough, however I would prefer at least 1 salty option.
Cons: The shower had very low pressure. It could invest in a head shower with pressure (5€) and doors didn’t have a lock with key. While I appreciate and like the rustic design, a locker with key is mandatory, as anyone can have access to the terrace and the room and we have valuables in our luggages.

We had a very nice experience staying in Riad Massiba. We were welcomed by the lovely staff, who always made sure our rooms were clean and helped us arrange taxi rides etc. I would also mention a very nice and healthy breakfast and how calm and quiet the rooms were in the night time and evenings.
Cons: There were hot water issues with shower.

I have been here already and it such a nice riad. The staff is always very nice. The only nay thing if any, the bathrooms smell a little of public restroom but that’s due to the main pipes most likely. Also, toilets for some reasons are not fixed to the floor so careful as it may flip over you.

The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and the position is very central but not at all noisy. The terrace is wonderful. The staff is very nice and helped us whenever we had a question.
Cons: The room was a little smaller than expected, but probably because it was the one with the terrace. Breakfast unfortunately starts at 8:30 so when you do excursions outside of Marrakech you can’t have it.

This is a super cute stay with very friendly staff, big private breakfast and a lovely inside patio. Our room was a good size for the four of us and the locations was practically in the center, everything was walkable on foot.
Cons: Unfortunately, the AC was not very strong and the windows don't close completely. Furthermore, there were no keys to lock the door, but we didn't ask for them anyways as we did not have any valuables with us.

The staff was lovely and working as hard as they could to run the place. It was never clear if the owner was there, or possibly ill. The building is lovely and was once well cared for.
Cons: Lack of presence of management. No Advice about the city, tours, etc despite receiving many emails telling us they would help direct us and I had hoped had personal recommendations for a guide. Breakfast was coffee, some fruit, bread. Almost “hotel lobby” breakfast. Eggs would have been nice, (other riads have offered eggs and home made baked goods )

The warm and helpful welkom by Monsieur Ahmed was lovely and delightful. The lady of the house and the other female staff were also very sweet and helpful. The Riad itself is a nice and peaceful little place away, but still near the Medina. Very nice breakfast. And Gizmo the Cat is very funny.
Cons: No negative feedback, more constructive: You CAN reach the Riad by car and park across from the Riad Massiba. (paid and secured parking) Don't let the cheeky street kids and guys tell you otherwise. Thanks to the help of Monsieur Ahmed we were able to park accross the Riad. Merci beaucoup!

I believe this riad is overpriced compared to the offer. We stayed one night and paid 80 euros. We stayed in the ground room which I believe the bathroom needs some maintenance - there is not pleasant smell. Also the towels were old and torn which I believe is not to be presented to the guests. In general I would say the riad needs some maintenance. The madame responsible for the Riad talks about the guests in our front e in her mother language (french) which I also believe is not a friendly way to receive the guests. The official marrokian number is no longer working. The last comment is about the pressure of paying in cash in stead of card when there is a machine for this purpose in the Riad and is in its policy. Positive points: good location, Mr Ahmed is very kind helping and serving the guests, great breakfast.

Cons: Top recommendation by booking.com but the place didn't have lockers on the door. No safe box in the room the lock valuables. Need to ask for a padlock to lock the door. The manager was hospitable, and our comfort was a priority. Breakfast was lovely and bed was very comfortable with a great pillow. I love the traditional Riad idea and location could not have been better to the souk and main square.
Cons: Noise!! You can hear everyone talking in the Raid and there is a weight room on the other side of the bathroom wall. The noise was unbearable, kept us up all night. We unfortunately left three days early. The owner said she would talk to Booking.com for reimbursement. Still waiting to hear from someone. When we arrived, we were dropped off in the middle of a lot with no idea where to go. We were unable to call, no answer, when we did find the door. We had to wait for someone to show. Communication is lacking, I think it is on booking.com's side. Would love to share more information about communication. If you read what I did write via booking, this will give you an idea of what I am talking about.

Our stay here was not good. The room itself was lovely and the location is good, but we were surprised to find the owner, Vivienne, insisting we needed to pay the remaining portion of our payment in cash, when her policies clearly state “we accept cards.” She was very difficult to work with, and we were put off by her. She only spoke French, so it was hard to communicate and she just kept yelling in French. Eventually, she said she could accept card, so we’re grateful she did, but we were unsure why it needed to be such a hassle. We were also surprised to find that there are no locks to the rooms (the building locks, but not individual rooms). Of course, we trusted the staff that it was safe, but we definitely would have felt better if we were able to lock our room with our belongings, especially after our negative experience with the owner. All in all, we had much better experiences at different Riads in Marrakech for almost half the price, as all of the Moroccans we interacted with otherwise were so kind and welcoming. I would not recommend staying here at all.

I spent 3 nights in the Riad which is greatly located in the Medina. Ahmed has been so kind and helpful with anything I might have needed - hairdryer, medication, suggestions on where to go out for a solo dinner- and he’s a real jem in the Riad. I felt welcomed and safe and overall, at home. I stayed in the Cannelle room on the ground floor where, if you are a bit of a freak about the temperature like me, you might need to turn on the air con- but all was superb. The room is elegant and well curated and honestly it felt just right. Last hours in Marrakech I stayed in the Riad, enjoying the sunny terrace out of the “city- mess” and it’s been heavenly. I would highly - HIGHLY- recommend to stay here!

We stayed in Riad massiba in October, for couple of days. The location is great, in the center but not too much in the crazy area, easy to move in and out the medina from here. Rooms are nice, comfortable and cozy. And the people are amazing, always nice and sweet, very very helpful, they helped us very much in many ways. We had a great time here!

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Massiba. The owner and staff were very helpful and lovely to talk to. Riad and rooms were as pictured online. Breakfast of pastries and fresh squeezed orange juice was a perfect was to start the day. Would highly recommend this Riad.

Booking a room on booking.com few hours before arrival was considered our fault for the administrator of the riad when we sowed up at the door, claiming "she is not booking" so our booked room wasn't available. Combine that with 44 degrees heat and the bad atitude of the administrator made it a very unpleasent experience. Not reccomanded.

We made a reservation over booking and when we arrived, one hour later, we met the owner who said that we can not stay because she is alone, no staff, due to a religions event. Ok, I understand that but what I think was horrible was that she blame us for the problem : "you can not reserve and show in one hour" she said ! After a long talk another guilt was found to booking.... We had to find another places to stay ... So if you want to be treated like that go to this lady riad.

We stayed one night at the beginning of our trip and one at the end. We had the terrace room. The terrace had a table and chairs and 2 sun loungers. Th bedroom is adequate and the bed comfortable. The aircon worked a treat. We had homemade jam with a lovely breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for Ahmed and he helped us sort a taxi to Essaouira after we had been let down. I would 100% recommend this riad to anybody

A pleasant central courtyard with a fountain - a cool and quiet refuge from the noise and heat. Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace. The room was spacious and very nice. The location is good - a 5 minute walk from Jemaa el Fna. Service was good and personnel helpful with advice about places to see, restaurants etc.
