Acceuil exceptionnel par M. Amid, très souriant et aimable. Il nous a montrée tout de suite la terrasse exceptionnelle et l'hotel et explique su un llkans ce qu'il faut visiter a Essaoira, Le soir ils avaient organisé une soirée avec musique live sur la terrasse, evenement excepionnel, malgré le vent. Emplacement parfait avec vue exceptionnelle. Service du petit-dejeuner très personnel dans une atmosphère relaxee. La aussi, M. Amid nous a sssisté avec son sourire et sa professionalité très appreciés. La 2ème soirée nous avons pris un apéritif (il vendent l'alcol!) sur la terrasse, M. Hussein nous a servi également avec un grand sourire et gentillesse. TOP Hotel, TOP service, TOP emplacement.
Cons: Difficile de se garer si le parking est complet, mais à l'hotel il t'expliquent oû il y a des alternatives très proches. Merci

Beautiful terrace, comfortable and well-equipped room with a door directly onto the terrace. Extremely friendly staff and a delicious breakfast each morning. Dinner at the restaurant owned by Madada Morador (La table de Madade) was outstanding - best meal and service we’ve had in Morocco!
Cons: Nothing really. It was wonderful. Better advance directions for parking location would have been helpful as we drove ourselves. But otherwise, the hotel is perfect!

Радушный и чуткий персонал, великолепный напор воды в ванной, шампунь, гель для душа и крем для тела с божественными ароматами, удобные необычные халаты, вкусный чай в номере. Расположение отеля идеально - в медине, но прямо рядом со входом, два шага до пляжа и парковки, по соседству множество прекрасных ресторанов (но ресторан при отеле нужно бронировать за несколько дней, мы не попали, к сожалению). Если мне повезет однажды вернуться в этот чудесный город, я непременно снова остановлюсь в этом отеле.

The Madada Mogador Riad was located in the perfect location of the Medina - close to all the interesting locations and activities, but far enough away to provide an oasis of calm. Our room was adjacent to the balcony which provided lovely views of the Atlantic Ocean and beach. The best part of the Madada Mogador Riad was the staff! A special mention to Amine and Oussama who were so kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay at their property and in Essaouira!

Everything! Amazing location, wonderful room, beautiful rooftop patio and view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous--the best we had in our three weeks in Morocco. It was a beautiful hotel, highly recommended. The hotel was able to arrange a transfer to Casablanca for a very reasonable price and make reservations for us at their own restaurant (which was very good). They could accommodate an early breakfast if requested. Always someone at the front desk to help out.
Cons: We liked everything. Note there are stairs, but staff able to help with luggage and very accommodating.

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Doppelzimmer, welches direkt auf die große Terasse ging und konnten morgens das Meer vom Zimmer aus sehen. Unser Frühstück - das sehr gut war - konnten wir direkt auf der Terrasse vor unserem Zimmer einnehmen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Hotel liegt am Rande der Medina und ist leicht zu finden und erreichen. Das Zimmer war zentral und dennoch ruhig. Wir fanden einen Parkplatz unweit des Hotels für wenig Kosten. Wir würden wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

Great location inside the medina. Terrific sea view and sunset view from the terrace. We had room Pasha accesssd directly from the sunny seaview terrace. The room was a good size, large bathroom, excment shower pressure and extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast available in room , on the terrace or in a downstairs room. The hotel is only a few steps fromnthe fishing port and a short walk to the sew wall ramparts. House keeping and breakfast staff very friendly.
Cons: We had pre arranged with the hotel for a person with a handcart of meet us off the supratours bus to takes is and our luggage to the hotel. It had been confirmed. On arrival we were not met and needed to negotiate help from a gaggle of handcart men. When we advised reception of this the person was disinterested. On arrival, No warm greeting, no usual offer tea, we needed to ask what time breakfast and where, we needed to ask for wificode. Not a great customer experience from the staff member on duty. However, the next day there wass a femail receptionist and she was more friendly, helpful and customer focused .

The view was incredible, and it was close to everything. The room was very clean and quite large, plus the staff was very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was very good, and they just kept bringing more food out!!! Breakfast is also served 8am until noon, which was helpful for relaxing.

Het personeel deed alles op het je aangenaam te maken. Geen vraag was moeilijk of teveel. Er moeten nog links en rechts wat kleine technische en esthetische verbeteringen gedaan worden maar het was erg aangenaam vertoeven in Madada. Het restaurant mag je zeker niet missen, hel erg lekker en je had daar hetzelfde niveau van supervriendelijk personeel. Van de locatie kan ik niks laten verbeteren, die is gewoon top.

Fantastic staff, fantastic breakfast, good size room, very clean, location could not be better very close to the wing foiling flat water beach just inside the medina and a few meters from shops, restaurants, port etc.
Cons: Terrace adjacent to the room was not private but could be made more secluded with partitionning. No private parking, public parking being very difficult in Essaouira in August. No pool, the sea water being rather fresh and not always very clean in Essaouira.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une chaleur et une bienveillance rares. L’ambiance est zen, naturelle, apaisante… on se sent comme chez soi, loin du tumulte. Great breakfast that we enjoyed every morning from our private terrace! The hotel is very walkable to the beach or the Medina area to shop. We did a horseback riding tour organized through the hotel and it was amazing! Highly recommend staying here for location alone and everything else was the cherry on top.

Je suis venue avec mon papa. La suite Mogador était parfaite puisqu’il y avait une mezzanine avec un deuxième lit ce qui permettait de conserver son intimité. La salle de bain est très grande et la baignoire XXL un vrai plus. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux. Mention spéciale pour le rooftop avec vue mer. Félicitation au personnel pour sa gentillesse et son dévouement et un merci particulier à la responsable avec qui nous avons eu plaisir à échanger. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Nous avons eu la Chance de visiter le loft qui est une pépite.

El hotel es una monada. Tienen siempre música de jazz a la entrada y huele muy bien. Veníamos de la intensidad de Marrakech y de quedarnos en un riad y nos apetecía ver el mar. Nuestra habitación daba a una calle y preguntamos cuanto sería un upgrade a una habitación con vistas. Nos dieron un upgrade gratis. Una habitación maravillosa con terraza, unas vistas maravillosas a la playa. El baño es espectacular, la cama muy cómoda, las sábanas suaves suaves. Los productos del baño, el gel, el champú la crema....qué olor más maravilloso. Tenían unos albornoces monísimos en forma de chilaba...Para repetir 100%. El desayuno sin palabras. Nos encantó el sitio.

Excellent location right on the edge of the medina, parking closeby, wide breakfast window and good breakfast selection. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Great roof terrace!
Cons: The bed could have been somewhat wider (particularly since the room is very sizeable). It would be good if the shower head could be higher, as for tall people it is only at sholder height.

We had an amazing time staying at the Madada Mogador. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and gave us some great tips about things to do around town (even during last day of Ramadan). Location is perfect, breakfast at the terrace was super nice and the restaurant is 5 stars ❤️ much love. Hope to be back one day.

Wir hatten das Zimmer "Pasha" mit direktem Ausgang auf die Terrasse. Auch mit Meerblick. Das Frühstück haben wir auf dieser Terrasse eingenommen, welches uns serviert wurde. Man kann auch Omelette bestellen. Schönes, großes Zimmer, ganz tolles Bad mit schönen Fliesen, große Dusche, Duschgel, Shampoo und sogar Körperlotion vorhanden, das alles sehr gut roch und man auch dort im Riad erwerben konnte. Lage ist top - am Eingang der Altstadt und man kann alles fußläufig erreichen oder auch zwischendurch mal kurz aufs Zimmer gehen zum Entspannen. Der Indoorfrühstücksbereich ist auch sehr schön gestaltet, sehr hell und gemütlich zum Sitzen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, sprechen gut englisch und wir konnten am Abreisetag sogar schon um 07.00 Uhr frühstücken, da wir zum Flughafen mussten. Parkplatz ist unweit entfernt, nur 3 Minuten zu Fuß.

Cons: Unfortunately we had a fire lit in our room the second night which filled the room with smoke. It was hard to breathe and impossible to sleep. Either the chimney was blocked or the wood damp. All our clothes in our suitcases stink. The fire hadn’t been cleaned when we first arrived so the room did smell. One of the loungers on our patio was also broken. On the other hand the bed was very comfortable and the staff were lovely and I would recommend it apart from the above problem. We did mention the fire problem on our departure.

Die Lage ist fantastisch! Das Personal war super freundlich und der Service perfekt! Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den Strand und den Hafen war sehr gut. Aber auch bei schlechtem Wetter ist der Frühstücksraum innen sehr gemütlich. Das Riad ist liebevoll eingerichtet und durch kleine Aufmerksamkeiten, wie frische Limonade zur Selbstbedienung im Nachmittag oder gemütliche Kerzenbeleuchtung im Abend auf der Terrasse fühlt man sich als Gast willkommen. Unser Zimmer war direkt an der Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer. Die Ausstattung im Zimmer war gut. Die Hilfsbereitschaft des Gastgebers bei Reservierungen haben wir sehr geschätzt. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

Fantastic location, perfectly placed for both the beach, and the medina, with a fantastic view! Just within the gate to the medina, (Bab Sbaa), yet still very close to the taxi drop off point. We absolutely loved our stay in the Salma room, which opened onto the communal roof terrace. The room was spacious, with plenty of storage, a double bed, seating area, tea & coffee making, and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower & complimentary toiletries. There was also a hairdryer, and fridge, with payable mini bar containing chocolate & soft drinks. Breakfast was prepared to order, served either on the roof terrace or downstairs in the comfortable lounge / reception area, and available from 08:30-12:00 (great for late risers, or those like us who enjoy a stroll before a late breakfast), and consisted of freshly squeezed orange juice, tea, coffee, pancakes, selection of breads, jams, croissants, yogurt, fruit, cake, and a choice of freshly cooked eggs. I must also mention the staff, who were always friendly & helpful, without being intrusive. The highlights for us were the location, the amazing view and the beautiful sunsrises & sunsets from the terrace. Would stay here again without hesitation!

Madada Mogador is een prettig boutique hotel op een mooie locatie in Essaouira, net binnen de muren en tussen de medina en het strand. Wij hadden de Cherifa junior suite. Gratis mineraalwater op de kamer. Ons afgezonderde privé dakterras heeft een mooi uitzicht over de stadsmuren, de haven en het strand. Alles op loopafstand. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en dienstbaar. Het ontbijt werd geserveerd op het dakterras en was heerlijk. Vanuit het bijbehorende restaurant werden alcoholhoudende drankjes geserveerd. Toen we aankwamen waren de wegen en parkeerplaatsen overvol met badgasten. Toch heeft het hotelpersoneel voor ons een parkeerplaats weten te reserveren. 👍
Cons: De kamer was kleiner en donkerder dan we op basis van de foto’s hadden verwacht. Het privé dakterras was heel prettig, maar we misten er wel bescherming tegen de felle augustuszon, zoals een parasol of een zeil-overspanning. Pas na aandringen heeft het personeel op ons verzoek een parasol geplaatst.

The rooms were beautiful and because it was fairly quiet we were given a complimentary upgrade to a room with an ocean view! The view is incredible and you’re right in the heart of where you need to be. The staff sat with us and chatted through a map and recommended Dar Baba for dinner, it was perfect! Cons: Our only issue was a little disagreement with the man who brought our bags up the stairs. We tried to tip him 20MAD (an amount suggested by guidebooks) and he was angry and threw it back at us. When we asked the hotel clerk later he said they expected 30MAD, which still was not much and we would have been happy to pay it had we known.

our room faced the ocean and led directly onto the terrace where breakfast was served, the hotel was very quiet no matter what time of the day ,breakfast was very traditional with eggs cooked to your liking. No television in our room, which after a couple of days you start to enjoy the benefits. This hotel is located just within the medina ,but close enough to the beach. The staff without exception were polite, very helpful, and would check to ensure all was good .

(Établissement idéal pour les lèves tôt qui apprécient se réveiller avec le bruit de mouettes et la mosquée)

Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt über den Jahreswechsel in dieser traumhaften Unterkunft. Die Freundlichkeit und der Service von Brigitte und ihrem Team bleiben uns in Erinnerung. Das Frühstücken auf der traumhaften Terrasse nebst dem Blick auf den Atlantik werden wir vermissen. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und tipptopp. Sehr zu empfehlen auch das angeschlossene Restaurant. Lage direkt am Rande der Altstadt, aber auch wenige Meter vom Strand und vom Hafen entfernt. Sehr schöne Dachterrasse auf der das leckere Frühstück mit frisch gepresstem Orangensaft serviert wird. Freundliche Gastgeber Der öffentliche Parkplatz ist gleich gegenüber und man muss sein Gepäck nur ein paar Meter zum Hotel rollen.
Cons: Wir hatten ein Zimmer ohne Balkon mit Fenstern auf die Gasse. Da wir mit offenem Fenster geschlafen haben, war es durch die morgendlichen Aktivitäten in der Stadt schon etwas laut. Das nächste Mal würde ich ein Zimmer mit Terrasse und Meerblick buchen.

Madada Mogador was such a great find. Our room was on the terrace over looking the ocean. A gorgeous place to watch the sun set over the water and equally as lovely to wake up to. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was worth the visit on its own. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were excellent, eggs of your choice, fruit, breads, orange juice and tea or coffee, all served with a warm smile from the lovely ladies who looked after us so well. The hotel has a few restaurants in its chain and they are all excellent, saves time wandering around trying to find somewhere to eat and making costly mistakes. The hotel booked all our reservations and our horse back ride at sunset on the beach. Cannot recommend Madada highly enough.

Cons: Das Hotel ist sehr nett, allerdings ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Manche Sachen gehören erneuert (z.B. die brüchigen Fensterläden). Manches wirkt ein wenig angestaubt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist in anderen marokkanischen Hotels erheblich besser. Wir waren schon in vielen Hotels in Marokko, dessen Preis günstiger war, das Hotel jedoch einen noch besseren Standart hatte. Wir haben für eine Nacht 175€ gezahlt, ca. 100€ wären für das Hotel deutlich angemessener.

Je recommande fortement me séjour chez Madada : Très bien situé : à coté du musée d'Essaouira, de l'association Mogador, à l'entrée de la médina et surtout devant la plage. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et copieux et change tous les jours. La propriétaire prend le temps d'accueillir chaque personne avec des explications. Le personnel est vraiment gentil et surtout au petit soin. La terrasse est très jolie surtout pour prendre le petit déjeuner. Un point très important : il y a toujours quelqu'un à la réception la journée et la nuit.

Perfect location close to the walls of the Medina, but also close to "all the action". Great view over the ocean and beach. Wonderful terrace for breakfast and chilling. The interior was cool, felt authentic. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. We had the best breakfasts of our Morocco trip here, with some fruit (we had been longing for it in other places before this!!). The room is spacious enough, and with ocean view.
Cons: The beds were a bit laid down, but we had good nights sleep anyway. The terrace is just outside, making it a bit awkward going to the toilet if anyone's sitting on the terrace. Especially during breakfast hours, as you could here the people outside very well, feeling like they could hear you also.

Overall a good experience with this hotel. Some general comments and then pluses/minuses. Essaouira, we realized, is a very windy town. One needs a fleece or sweatshirt even during the day. If you are driving from Marrakech, make sure to obey the speeding limits or you willl get a ticket for sure! The website is a marketing wonder; don’t get me wrong, things are good but look much better on the website. We stayed in the room Sabra, below are our pluses/minuses: + Clean room + Decent size space + High ceilings + Great breakfast (which runs until noon, a big plus) + 1.5 lt water replenished ever day + Very well working, silent A/C + Attentive staff + Location (right by the medina and for people who drive, public parking right across, 3 min walk) + Shower: great water pressure and you get hot water immediately + good soap and toiletries + good wifi reception + easy on the checkout (we vacated the room around 1 pm) + hard bed (my partner doesn’t like it, but I do :)
Cons: -Entrance on first floor, difficult to schlep big bags walking up a lot of stairs -the safe in the room is free floating (not fixed to the closet) and therefore is useless -the window looking out to the building right across in a narrow alley; so not much of a view -the toilet was wobbly and needs a bit of TLC -no slippers (this, I know, is not a very realistic expectation in a hotel as such, just stating for people to bring their own, if they care) The fact that there is a bathtub right in the room was a bit unusual but it was done to keep the original form which I appreciate and at the end we did enjoy it.

Parcheggio comodissimo e per nulla caro! La struttura risulta vicino al porto e al parcheggio è comodissima per visitare la Medina, i suoi dintorni e accedere alla spiaggia. Personale gentilissimo e molto attento; Pulitissimo e anche la proprietaria a disposizione per ogni esigenza. Secondo noi il valore aggiunto la colazione, ricca,delicata e ricercata diversa ogni mattina. Purtroppo durante il nostro soggiorno il loro ristorante era chiuso e non abbiamo potuto provarlo ma nella Medina si mangia benissimo e con varie possibilità prezzo!!

Ubicación buenísima, de lo mejor en Essaouira. En la propia Medina y tiene al lado (100 metros) un parking para dejar el coche. Tiene una terraza con unas vistas muy buenas. El desayuno buenísimo, muy completo. Las habitaciones muy espaciosas y bonitas.
Cons: Para lo que cuesta (es con diferencia el hotel más caro de nuestro viaje de 22 días por Marruecos) debería de estar más cuidado, hay detalles de elementos con roña, me parece un descuido importante. Con lo grandes que son las habitaciones las camas podrían desee más grandes. Ah, y algo que no nos ha pasado solo aquí. Los llaveros de las habitaciones son ENORMES, si tienes dos habitaciones porque viajas con niños y un adulto tiene que llevar dos llaveros en verano en el bolsillo es muy muy incómodo. Algo más pequeñito estaría mejor.

Запомнились вкусные завтраки на террасе с видом на океан, и большая ванна ,которую можно принимать вдвоем. В отеле есть много книг и интересных вещей. Услужливый персонал помогал в любых мелочах: от штопора и бокалов до помощи в резервации ресторана.
Cons: Вид на океан условный, почти не видно, на окнах сетка, и выхода на балкон нет, хотя Booking заявляет вид на море и патио. Из-за постоянно орущих чаек спать было тяжело, они прям под окном всю ночь сидят и согнать их невозможно. Парковка городская, в августе была переполнена, а найти другую просто нереально. Пляж переполнен местными жителями.

Номера хоть и не новые,но всё чисто. Текстиль, сантехника - всё хорошее. Фишка отеля- инстаграмная терраса. Отличный вид на океан, крепость и набережную. Завтраки на террасе - вкусно и красиво. Локация отличная- на входе в старый город. Лучшее расположение, на мой взгляд. Рядом платная парковка. Персонал очень дружелюбный, всё расскажут и покажут. Все номера разные, смотрите на фотографии внимательнее. У нас были Паша и Сальма- они дверями и окнами выходят на террасу, но там столики и под окнами могут сидеть другие гости. Нам это не помешало, т.к. гости просто книги читали.

Eine sehr gut gelegene Unterkunft. Einem tollen Dreieck zwischen dem Strand, der Altstadt und dem notwendigen Parkplatz, da die Altstadt bzw. auch das Hotel nicht anzufahren sind. Hilfreiche Kofferträger stehen bereit und auch in der Unterkunft wird einem geholfen. Kein Fahrstuhl! Restaurants sind in Hülle und Fülle vorhanden. Auch das hauseigene ist zu empfehlen.
Cons: Das WLAN ist, wie aber überall in den Unterkünften eher schlecht. Dicke Wände schützen vor der Hitze aber auch dem WLAN. Klagen auf hohem Niveau, da sonst alles sehr sehr gut war.

Petit déjeuner en terrasse, personnel d'une incroyable gentillesse et rapidité pour n'importe quelle demande, belle chambre dans le style local. Pas de luxe ostentatoire et quelques détails probablement perfectibles mais un vrai charme. Si je reviens à Essaouira, c'est ici.

Location is excellent. Concern and care from the staff, advising of places to visit and to familiarize when we arrived. Adaption of breakfast to our travel plans the morning we left. They have a restaurant that is associated to the property which is outstanding!! One of the best meals we ever had and they made the effort to accommodate us because we were staying at the hotel. We also appreciated that the restaurant was pushed on us as an option but suggested.

The staff really make this place though, we couldn't have asked for more. So helpful with recommendations and helping us book tables at restaurants ect. The "loft" apartment is beautifully decorated with an eye for detail. The lay-out of the room, the artwork in the room, the sofas, everything is well thought of. One of the view hotel rooms I have been with perfect lighting. The loft apartment has 2 very nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a very nice breakfast on the roof terrace. We can recommend horseback riding at Ranch Aftass. This ranch is run by a Belgian lady Maaike and the horses are very well taken care off. The galop on the beach is unforgettable. Further, we can recommend restaurant Dar Baba, which has a stunning interior (see photos) and super good food. This restaurant is 200m from Madada Mogador. You can park your car at the parking near the port. Cost is Euro 2 for 24 hours.
Cons: There is a kitchen in the room, but there are no plates, cups, cutlery or anything to make a meal.

The hotel itself was really lovely with a beautiful roof terrace where we were able to eat breakfast every morning. And breakfast was great. The staff were fantastic and really helpful in organizing airport transfers, booking quad trips on the dunes, restaurants, spa treatments, etc. There is also a fabulous restaurant affiliated with the hotel, La Tabla. I would recommend this hotel without reservation. It was truly fantastic.

The personal was very helpful and did everything for us. The hotel and room beautiful, great location and the terrace great with magnificent view over the beach. Leila was especially helpful. When we arrived two people in our group were sick and we were a bit chaotic but she helped us arrange for a doctor and the medication. The day of checking out the grandmother in our group was also sick and she could stay longer in her room with no additional cost until she was prepared to travel. We are thankful and can really recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. Perfectly clean. We got our room upgraded to a suite with a private terrace and a fireplace. Loved the bathroom with a huge bathtub. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff kind and friendly. I was feeling unwell at the day of our departure and was organized a free room to rest for a day (free of charge) which I greatly appreciate.

Cons: Those were the days - Reinfall und das Geld nicht wert ich war zwei Wochen in Marokko an verschiedenen Destinationen und habe viele schöne Riads und Hotels gesehen. Zum Schluss wollte ich mir in Essaouira etwas Besonderes leisten. Ich habe das Madada Mogador gewählt, da es gute Bewertungen bekommen hatte und liess mich sogar zu einem Upgrade (Booking empfahle es mir) für das Zimmer Cabana mit Panoramablick hinreissen. Hat sich überhaupt nicht gelohnt. Mit dem sehr hohen Preis wird die Aussicht bezahlt und sonst nicht viel. Das oberste Zimmer ist ein kleines Kämmerchen, mehrheitlich aus Holz gezimmert. Es bläst durch alle Ritzen, im Sommerist es wahrscheinlich sehr warm, ausser es wird dauernd mit A.C. heruntergekühlt. Die Einrichtung mag ja nett sein aber sicher nicht das Geld wert. Ich habe mehr als doppelt soviel wie sonst für das Zimmer bezahlt. Eine eigene Terrasse mit Sonnendach, Liegen oder so ist nicht vorhanden. Dass man sein Gepäck selber all die Stiegen hinauf schleppen muss (das Hotel ist im ersten Stock und dann geht es noch zwei Stockwerke hinauf), kommt noch dazu. Ausserdem ist das Zimmer mit den dünnen Wänden sehr ringhörig. Die Konzerte auf dem Platz unten hört man also live mit... Alles ist meiner Meinung nach etwas in die Jahr gekommen und hätte ein Brushup nötig. Wie die Zimmer unten sind, entzieht sich meinem Wissen. Für mich ehrlich gesagt schon fast ein Abriss...

The location was really close to the sea and it was so nice to have breakfast on the terrace. The room was really spacious and clean!

A perfect stay from start to finish! The staff was warm and inviting. I had wonderful conversation with Gislane about travel and life in Essaouira, which was very inspirational. The breakfasts were plentiful with a variety each morning, and served on the beautiful sea view terrace.

Great location at edge of Medina. Terrace overlooking the sea was beautiful. Varied breakfast served there every morning. Staff very friendly. Arranged an extra night stay very easily and at a good price.

The hotel is a nice boutique one that is a good change from the Riads, yet similar excellent service and attention from the staff, especially Galene who was super helpful and gave us all the tips, what to do/eat as a local, when to visit the beach, where to buy argan oil and other products, good restaurants etc. They gave us an upgrade to a bigger room with a private balcony which we loved very much. The location from the beach , the port and the Medina is very near and so you don't have to walk that long to any of these places. Hotel was very clean, good WiFi,breakfast was ok, everything was fresh. Toiletries in the bath and toilet were very nice. Overall a great experience.
Cons: Small thing but towel rack was broken.

The location is wonderful. The views from the rooms and the terrace are fantastic The hostess Galene provided valuable local information about restaurants, services and the old Medina. The breakfasts were also very good.

Nous avons séjourné trois nuits dans la chambre Sabra. La chambre est grande, décorée avec goût en mettant en avant l’artisanat marocain. La terrasse offre une vue époustouflante sur la grande plage d’Essaouira, la mer, le port et les remparts. On en prend plein les yeux, avec une lumière différente selon le moment de la journée. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux. Ici, on se soucie de vous et vous n’êtes pas un numéro de passage. Un énorme merci à Galenne pour sa gentillesse et son efficacité ! À bientôt.

Great reception when we arrived, extremely helpful staff who helped arrange various activities, gave advice on many aspects of our stay and were friendly and charming in the process. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay was idyllic and a great start to the day. The breakfast itself was delicious. Our room, at the top of the riad, had a great view of the bay and the town too, and was well worth the climb. The room wasn't overly spacious but was perfectly adequate for our three night stay.
Cons: Nothing negative comes to mind.
