The staff was extremely hospitable. One of the best staff experience I have ever had. The interior was beautiful and well maintained. Everything clean. Breakfast was a cultural experience. Very different from what I am used to. I loved it. Location was fantastic.

Cons: The only thing I would change is the temperature of the water in the pool. The water was almost warm, which didn’t cool me down in the hot weather. Also, the pool should be extended I think.

A minha mãe também tinha um quarto e teve um ótimo serviço pelo funcionários todos. São todos muito cuidadosos. Foi uma experiência fantástica, aconselho também o restaurante a comida é maravilhosa , gostamos de todos os pratos tradicionais de Marrakech.

The location was fantastic, on the edge of square, yet very quiet inside. The staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful. The pool area was a gorgeous way to unwind and cool down after sightseeing in the Medina. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great rain shower. Breakfast was delicious on the terrace with great views over the square.

La suit junior es molt bonica amb 2 lavabos amb dutxa, molt ben refrigerada, la piscina petitona però no hi ha gent, la decoració de l' hotel autentic Ryad i l' esmorsar complert però no amb el que estem acostumats a veure.

Cons: Els coixins tindrien de ser més còmodes, faltaben estris d' higiene personal com raspalls de dents, dentrífics, cutxilles i gel d' afeitar, l' escala de la piscina necessita tenir 1 graó més, per pujar còmodament, reparar algún parasol i tindrien de tenir l' accés del menjador a la terrassa tancat i refrigerat i sobre tot, sense avispes que se't mengin el teu àpat. Però aixó no és el més greu. Hi ha recepcionistes que m' han enganyat i fotut el pèl a la cara per estafar-nos. Un comportament vergonyós per un hotel de 5 estrelles tot i que pel que hem vist, aquesta actitut, és general al Marroc.

It is an absolutely stunning ryad right on the main square of Marrakech. Position is fantastic, the staff is very helpful, friendly and efficient. Small but cute swimming pool on the rooftop to fight the heat of Marrakech. The breakfast was ok in terms of choices.

Cons: Main issue for us was the airco: old airco unit, very noisy and working not very well. Overnight it was annoying. The matrass was not very comfortable. At breakfast 2 juices were served to the table wether you wanted them or not, but water was not available and you had to ask for it.

Breakfast was good. The pool patio was also decent, although we did not use the pool. The rooms were spacious and the atmosphere in the hotel was good. The staff was very helpful.

Cons: This is not a 5-star hotel by the regular standard. I would say 3.5-4.0 is more representative. The small things and details like toiletries, supplies, etc. make that difference. In a real high-end hotel you feel like whatever you need is available. Here, we needed to ask for majority of things.

VERY AUTHENTIC and great hotel within the comfort of the city. Just keep in mind, this is extremely central right at the heart of central Marrakech.

Cons: Because it is right at the heart of Marrakech, cars are not allowed after a certain time, so you have to use a porter to carry your luggage and if you don't fix the rates before hand you will be robbed in daylight! Like they will ask for 20 Euro for 5 minutes of walk. So just arrange it with the hotel in advance it will save a lot of hassle.

Cons: Only complain is that as the cars cannot enter the main square where hotel is located you have to make your own way with luggage through the square with luggage. However there are people around with trolleys to help for about 3 Euros.

We had a fantastic experience at Marrakesh Art Place. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, with a beautiful blend of traditional Moroccan charm. The staff were friendly, and clearly passionate about their work. Our waiter Adi was outstanding. Friendly, and genuinely welcoming. He anticipated our needs without being intrusive and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.

Cons: If your room is located below the pool area, it can be somewhat disruptive in the morning, as sunbeds are set up from around 8am. Also, we were surprised that the reception staff were unaware that Supratours buses offer two different classes. First class provides a more comfortable service and operates at different times. It was also not highlighted that most public transport fares are around 4 MAD, whereas Bus 19 to the airport costs significantly more at 30 MAD. I would have expected reception staff to be familiar with this kind of basic local information.

L hotel si trova in posizione ottimale proprio nella piazza Jamaa El Fna, in pieno centro ma in un oasi di pace, all'interno dell hotel. Camere molto belle finemente arredate, piscina sul tetto piccola ma soddisfacente, la hall e la sala comune "normale" per essere un 5 stelle, ma tant'è l'hotel è un riad ristrutturato. Abbiamo cenato due volte e devo dire è stata una buona cena, gradevole, gustosa e con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Il personale è molto gentile ed ossequioso. Se volete un hotel piccolo nella medina 5 stelle credo che questo sia il migliore.

Cons: Gli spazi comuni non grandi, ma come scritto in precedenza l hotel non è molto grande.

The staff was amazing! Everybody is so nice and helpful, they helped with everything, recommended places to go, were always really kind. The hotel is well prepared, beautiful, the most central possible, almost everything is in walkable distance, it was clean and calm. The rooftop is very nice, has a great view to the market, the pool is nice as well. On the day we left, we were allowed to stay around the pool area until we left to the airport in the evening. The room is good, the bed was huge and comfortable. The breakfast has a great variety, we tried the restaurant as well and it was very tasty. Super nice experience!

Cons: The only thing is the noise. The hotel itself is very calm, but we had a window in our room facing to a small road which was noisy in the night and it was hard to sleep. Some other guest were also disrespectful and talking loudly when arriving to the hotel in the middle of the night.

It was in a perfect setting on the square. Very quiet given the fact it was directly on the square. Treated like royalty from the moment we walked in the door. All the staff were so friendly and informative. We felt very safe. The room was big, air conditioned and so quiet. Bathroom was huge! There’s a beautiful rooftop terrace with a pool and loads of space for sunbathing, shade, relaxing. We’d definitely recommend this for anyone travelling to marrakech. We only stayed one night but wish we had stayed longer. Also the food was brilliant, you have a whole menu to choose from unlike a lot of other hotels or riads. They cater to everyone’s needs.

Cons: We struggled to find it at first, but locals gave us directions. It’s literally dead on the square, not down the little alleyways.

An oasis in the midst of the chaos of Marrakech! What a find, after 10 days travelling all over this Morocco this was an absolute piece of paradise. This hotel is in the perfect place to access the main square and the medina. It is very close to the edge of the Medina so easy to get in and out. A little piece of tranquility in the chaos of the Medina! Close to cafes and restaurants all the staff were very helpful. The rooms were a good size with good amenities. Lovely swimming pool as well. The best breakfast we had in Marrakech as well . We also ate dinner there great salads!

The roof top area is gorgeous with nice swimming pool that you can actually swim in. Spacious and comfortable room with good bed and shower, lovely decorations! Great breakfast with everyday other choices, nice variety. This hotel made our stay in Marrakech to a wonderful experience. We highly recommend it to every one!

The staff - every one of them is very friendly and an example of traditional Moroccan hospitality. The Riad itself has a very nice ambience. Will not only recommend but will come back on my next trip to stay here.

Cons: I am being very picky here. There are very few electrical outlets in the room but this should not be an issue as this is a very traditional Riad - which I deeply value and appreciate. Just make sure you you have a multi charging port.

Super zentrale Lage - direkt am großen Markt. Perfekt um alles zu Fuß zu erkunden und ohne großen Aufwand nach dem Marktbesuch nach Hause zu kommen. Viele Touren starten direkt neben dem hotel, sodass auch dies keine weiteren Kosten / Umstände erzeugt. Personal super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit.

Cons: Frühstücksbuffet war leider etwas klein geraten und sicher keine 5*. Das Essen war lecker aber die Auswahl sehr begrenzt und teilweise für europäische Gewohnheiten etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig (schmorgerichte z.B.). Die Dusche in unserem Zimmer war etwas unsauber aber wirklich nur minimal und kein echte Problem.

All the hotel staff were absolutely fantastic - attentive, helpful and happy. In all my travels I would say that the Art Place staff are amongst the best in the World and my stay was stress free and very relaxing. The suites were beautifully decorated and sympathetic to the history - large and spacious with everything you could need. The breakfast was well stocked with many choices. We also had dinner in the hotel one evening out on the terrace overlooking the square and would say that it was extremely good - the hummus was delicious and the pastilla was magnificent. This hotel is tranquility in the centre of the vibrancy of the square - I was actually sad to leave. Did I say the staff were amazing!

El desayuno maravilloso, había de todo, la habitación increíble, con unas camas muy cómodas. Se respira tranquilidad y lujo. Tomamos un té en la terraza y pasamos un rato muy agradable. En plena plaza Jeema el fna pero sin ningún ruido. Incluso nos hicieron el favor de guardar nuestro equipaje durante la escapada que hicimos al desierto, hasta que volvimos para ir al aeropuerto. Si alguna vez vuelvo sin dudarlo repetiré aquí.

Cons: Be aware that this hotel is in the Medina, and as such taxis, and tour buses cannot access the hotel for significant periods of the day. Hence when you arrive you'll need a porter for your bags for a couple of hundred metres. Also, if you book tours, they will not be able to pick you up at the hotel, you will need to meet then at locations outside of the Medina. Not a real issue, if you are expecting that.

Cons: L’unica vera nota negativa riguarda la guida italiana consigliata dall’hotel: poco professionale e deludente. Il tour ha dato scarso spazio ai contenuti culturali, trasformandosi invece in un giro commerciale presso amici venditori di tappeti e cosmetici, peraltro a prezzi eccessivi, con una notevole perdita di tempo. Inoltre, il giorno della partenza, a causa dell’orario anticipato del volo, abbiamo effettuato un check-out anticipato senza che ci venisse fornita alcuna alternativa alla colazione, pur essendo inclusa nel soggiorno. Da segnalare inoltre che i taxi non arrivano in prossimità della struttura e bisogna uscire dalla piazza per poter usufruirne.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel is beautifully, decorated in Moroccan style and art. The location is easy to find and cabs can reach it within the allowed hours.There is minimal noise from the busy square. the buffet breakfast was generous and included local fare.

Cons: The riad design means the rooms are windowless. There is a lot of noise from above and between rooms. The so called suite is just an odd shaped room with 2 bathrooms. Several daily breakfast offerings were probably from the previous evening which is fine but they were served cold and were not very tasty that way.

Breakfast was very good, a mix of traditional and European breakfast items. The staff were very attentive, bringing juices and coffee when you arrived. Outside was quite noisy ( the usual noises of the busy medina ) but inside was very quiet. Desk staff are very helpful.

Cons: The downstairs bedrooms don't have external windows, only internal windows on to the courtyard. This keeps the rooms cool and noise- free but makes the rooms very dark at night; I'm used to watching the dawn unfold but you can't do that in these rooms. This is only a small point though; a clock radio or night light might help to orientate you in the middle of the night when you wake up.

Le manque de compassion du Mr à l'accueil de jour qui fut aimable certes mais lorsque je lui ai indiqué que nous devions rentrer en urgence car mon beau-père était hospitalisé et le médecin nous demandait de rentrer, aucun mot de compassion et lorsque je lui ai indiqué que nous devions partir à 4h30 et donc impossible de profiter du petit-déjeuner, aucune proposition comme par exemple une petite assiette de pâtisseries ou autres. J'ai séjourné dans des riads où le personnel se mettait en 4 pour satisfaire les clients (comme un départ très tôt le matin). Le riad est peut-être trop grand et pas à taille humaine du coup, il se situe un peu entre le riad et l'hôtel.

Cons: Pictures are very out of date, and facilities are quite a bit more worn that in the pictures. The shower, especially, really needs some attention as there was a great deal of black mold in all the tile work. My room also suffered from climate control issues, and was unable to cool below 24 degrees, so if you're sensitive to temperature for sleeping keep this in mind.

Det føles som en liten oase midt i all energien og livet i medinaen. Personalet var utrolig vennlige og imøtekommende. Abdullah i resepsjonen tok imot oss med et stort smil og sørget for at vi følte oss velkomne fra første stund. Servitøren Mustafa fortjener også en spesiell takk – alltid blid, oppmerksom og genuint opptatt av at vi skulle ha det bra. Maten var rett og slett nydelig – både frokost og middag var fulle av smak og friskhet. Alt var delikat presentert og laget med omtanke. Rensligheten og komforten var upåklagelig. Rommene var vakre, godt vedlikeholdt og ga en følelse av luksus og ro. Vi kan på det varmeste anbefale dette hotellet. Her får man en perfekt kombinasjon av autentisk marokkansk atmosfære, topp service og ekte gjestfrihet. Vi gleder oss allerede til å komme tilbake!

The food was delicious and the breakfast had different options every day. The room was very comfortable and the decoration with the moroccan architecture was exquisite. The staff can’t do enough for you, from welcoming to service and cleaning they went above and beyond in everything. The Riad has two parts - old and new - and both are unbelievable in the decor and cleanliness. Hotel pool was perfect for the hot climate and fresh towels were provided. We ate breakfast and lunch and all meals were delicious - highly recommend the cheese and onion omelette from the chef at breakfast!

Nagyon Jó helyen fekszik, pont a Djemaa El Fna tér sarkában, a hotelból kilépve a tér forgatagában találjuk magunkat. A szálláson belül viszont ennek a zaja abszolult nem hallatszik be, a tetőn található teraszról viszont esténként élveztük a teljesen egyedi akusztikát. A szobák és a Ryad teljesen vissza adták a marrokói hangulatot, nagyon tiszta és autentikus volt, de a legnagyobb értékét szerintem a személyzet adja, a vezetőktől kezdve egészen a szobalányokig, mindenki nagyon kedves, udvarias, mosolygós és segítőkész volt. Mi a legtöbbet a reggelinél és az esték folyamán Rabival és Zack-kel találkoztunk (elnézést ha nem jól írom a nevüket, így ejtettük ) nekik külön köszönjük a szívélyes kiszolgálást! A reggeli változatos volt, lehetett választani a marrokói és a nekünk hagyományosak közül, de az egyedi kéréseinket is mindig teljesítették, páromnak nagyon tetszett hogy minden reggel más-más shotokat kaptunk. Mindenkinek nagyon jó szívvel ajánjuk ezt a kis ékszerdobozt!

A charming hotel perfectly situated on the main square, right at the heart of all the city’s buzz. Yet inside, the rooms remain peaceful, thanks to the building’s origins as a traditional Moroccan riad — a home designed around a serene inner courtyard, with no windows facing the outside world and a gentle fountain at its center. There’s also a rooftop pool offering a welcome escape. The staff are warm and attentive, and the breakfasts pleasantly satisfying. Don’t expect European or even Turkish standards of luxury, but the overall value for money is, in my view, excellent.

Cons: The only downside was the air conditioner — powerful, but fortunately quiet. It was difficult to adjust, and in the mornings it could get uncomfortably cold.

We just spent three nights at Hotel & Ryad Art Place Marrakech. What a fantastic place to stay. The location couldn’t have been better situated right in the main square. If you arrive after 11am (when cars are not allowed in the square) you are greeted at the entrance by Aziz who walks your luggage to the Hotel. Once you are inside the hustle and bustle is left behind it is very quiet. The rooms are fabulous, ours was very large and so very quiet and the pool on the rooftop was a bonus to cool off at the end of the day. What makes this hotel truly special was the staff. Chef Youssef, Youssef, Aziz, Rabi, Zak, Ibrahim and Mustafa were all so warm and attentive, making us feel so welcome every day. They really went above and beyond. All restaurants are very close to the Ryad and the dinner at the hotel was excellent also. Make sure you ask for Abdul for a guided tour around Marrakech. It was the best day of our whole trip! Honestly, you don't need to look any further than Hotel & Ryad Art Place Marrakech, you will not be disappointed!

Ryad meraviglioso, situato proprio nel cuore della piazza Jemaa el-Fnaa. Le camere sono ampie e bellissime, con arredamenti in stile marocchino e letti molto comodi. Al nostro arrivo, ci hanno accolto con un tè alla menta e biscottini…Siamo rimasti sorpresi dall’insonorizzazione dell’hotel, non si sente il trambusto della piazza. La colazione è varia e di ottima qualità. Un ringraziamento particolare allo staff del Front Office, Youssef ed Ibrahim , sempre attenti ad ogni esigenza degli ospiti.

El personal muy amable y servicial, tanto los de recepcion como los del servicio de comedor y limpieza. La ubicacion es excelente. El desayuno no es que fuera espectacular , pero estaba muy bien. Cogimos una suite y estuvimos muy comodos, pero no tenia luz natural.

El confort de la habitación y la tranquilidad que se respira en todo momento en todas las instalaciones, al no aceptar niños para los que No tenemos es un punto importante para que la estancia sea del todo placentera y sin ruidos, el aire acondicionado refresca mucho y no es ruidoso, las instalaciones, la limpieza perfecta de las habitaciones y de todo el Hotel y Riad, el servicio por parte de todos los camareros siempre atentos y educados para todo lo que necesites, la piscina en la terraza, pequeña pero refrescante con muchas hamacas para tomar el sol, los desayunos en la terraza con vistas a la Plaza quizá un pelin justos, no mucha variedad y muy repetitivo, los zumos naturales ya te los llevan directamente a la mesa y cada día hay diferentes sabores, ofrecen un menú para comer a un módico precio de 160dn. La ubicación del hotel sin dudarlo un acierto justo en un lateral de la Famosa y ruidosa Plaza Jemaa El Fna pero una vez entras en el Riad, todo es paz y tranquilidad. Sin dudarlo volvería a este hotel cuando vuelva a Marrakech.

Ubicación inmejorable para visitar la ciudad, en plena plaza Jemaa el-Fna, desde la terraza se observa su bullicio y sin embargo dentro del hotel, tanto en las habitaciones como en la piscina, se disfruta de gran tranquilidad y paz para poder descansar. El personal muy correcto, discreto y amable en todo momento. Desayuno buffet variado y abundante, combinando cocina local y sin olvidar el desayuno tradicional. Hotel & Ryad Art Place Marrakech location could not be more central and privileged, while maintaining privacy and silence, right next to Jamaa Al Fna Square. Breakfast is served in a spacious room and in an outdoor area overlooking Jamaa El Fna Square. A wide variety of high-quality products, including several local delicacies. But of course, the highlight is the excellent service provided by the team of Rabie and Azizi. Both are always willing to help and answer any questions you may have. Congratulations to hotel management to have this two guys giving us a nice and friendly good morning. A very appealing terrace with a swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath and bar, allowed us to cool off and/or relax after long days in the souks. All other services, such as the concierge, reception and cleaning, demonstrate a constant concern for helping guests. The room was a pleasant surprise and, like the hotel in general, it carefully maintains the local style, even though it is a modernized space.

Cons: O que poderá ser melhorado? O sistema de escoamento de água de uma das casas de banho carece de manutenção ou limpeza na área de duche para evitar odores desagradáveis, sim porque o quarto tinha duas casas de banho completas o que foi excelente. No restaurante, talvez um ou outro prato mais ocidental, para complementar da super oferta generalizada do cuscuz e tagine que é o standard em todos os restaurantes circundantes.

Riad położony w samym sercu Marakeszu, przy głównym placu, śniadania bardzo smaczne, na dachu strefa wypoczynkowa i basen, obsługa wyjątkowo miła i pomocna, wifi chodzi bardzo dobrze. Jedyna wada (ale tak jest w Riadach) pokoje nie mają okien. Przekłada się to na ciszę i chłód ale jest zawsze ciemno. Jedzenie w restauracji bardzo smaczne choć nie można zamówić wina (a wina Markoańskie są wyśmienite)

My partner and I recently stayed at the Art Palace & Ryad Hotel, ideally located within Marrakech’s vibrant main square (the Medina), and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience from start to finish. From the moment we were picked up at the airport to the day we checked out, the service was consistently exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their hospitality was a standout aspect of our visit. We stayed in a Junior Suite, beautifully designed and featuring a four-poster bed with conveniently located plug sockets on either side – perfect for charging our phones overnight. The room also included his and hers bathrooms, each with a rainfall walk-in shower that was both luxurious and refreshing. While the hotel is alcohol-free – as is the surrounding square – this turned out to be a surprising bonus. We actually found it to be a detoxing and restorative experience. The rooftop terrace is a peaceful retreat, complete with a lovely swimming pool and sun loungers that are thoroughly cleaned each evening. The rooftop is surrounded by carefully tended plants, giving it a relaxed and tranquil ambiance. Afternoon service was available, and once again, the staff delivered exceptional hospitality. (Special thanks to the kind staff member who assisted us each day, Zakarya.) Breakfast was included in our stay, and we were consistently impressed by the impeccable service provided by Mustapha and Rabie. The breakfast itself changed daily and offered a variety of fresh, local dishes. While different from what many Europeans might expect, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The view from the rooftop restaurant, perfectly named “the View”, overlooking the Medina and capturing sunsets over the bustling square, was genuinely breathtaking – like a scene from a film. Regarding dining, we chose to enjoy all our meals at the hotel.

We stayed at this riad for just one night, as they were fully booked and we had to move to another hotel the next day. Overall, the riad itself was beautiful, the room was clean, and the staff were generally welcoming. However, the experience when checking out left a very negative impression. We asked the front desk to call a taxi to take us to our second riad, which we knew was accessible by car. Instead, the receptionist insisted it was only a 10-minute walk and offered to arrange a luggage porter instead. We trusted his advice. Unfortunately, the porter was an elderly man with a hand-pulled cart who did not know the exact address. Navigating the busy, narrow souk alleys was very difficult. My husband had to guide him using GPS. What was supposed to be a short walk turned into a stressful 20+ minute trek. We eventually reached an alley too narrow for the cart, had to offload our luggage, paid the porter twice the cost of a normal taxi out of sympathy, and carried our bags on foot for another 15 minutes. Ironically, for the next two days, we took taxis back and forth through the souk area with no problem at all, each ride took only about 15 minutes and cost us less than half of what we paid that day. While the riad itself was pleasant, I would strongly recommend double-checking transportation options independently rather than relying on staff recommendations, especially if you have luggage or mobility concerns.

Alright, so I stayed at Hotel & Ryad Art Place in Marrakech, and overall, it was pretty amazing. The location? You literally couldn't beat it – right next to the main square and the famous souks. Talk about being in the heart of the action! Breakfast was seriously good – a real highlight of my stay. And the staff, wow, they were incredible. There was this one guy, Ravi, who was always around, super prompt, and helpful with absolutely everything we needed. The room was also a great size, plenty of space to chill.

Cons: If I had to nitpick, the pool was a bit smaller than I'd imagined from the photos. Also, check-in was a bit of a wait; 3 pm felt kind of late and they were pretty strict about it.

First thing you notice is that despite being right next to the noisy Jemaa el-Fnaa, the hotel is very quiet and peaceful. The location is superb - Jemaa el-Fnaa is right outside and makes exploring the souks easy. Staff were exceptional - welcoming, helpful and polite. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Even when our flights meant we had to leave early, they made sure breakfast was also opened early. Breakfast had a nice selection - which changed slightly each day for variety. The view from the restaurant of Jemaa el-Fnaa is amazing (see photo)! We ate in the restaurant most days and the food is authentic and tasty. Room was very clean, authentic and comfortable. We were in the Executive Suite - very spacious.

Cons: Was there room service? Advertised on booking.com - but I did not see this mentioned anywhere during our stay.
