Our host Badr gave us lots of good tips about the surrounding area and recommended some good restaurants to us.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au Riad 22, notamment avec toute l'attention dévouée de Badr, et sa petite et discrète équipe. Tout d'abord l'emplacement était idéal pour nous, situé à 5 min de l'entrée des Souks à l'opposé de la place Djemaa El fna, l'endroit était calme et quelques restos sympathiques, au très bon rapport qualité prix. Notre chambre au RDC (bougainvilliers), pour 3 était dans un style traditionnel, sans chichi. Petit bémol pour l'humidité qui restait dans la chambre, probablement en raison de la petite piscine juste à proximité. Mais nous pouvions faire sécher notre linge et serviettes sur la grande terrasse plein soleil et avec canapés et parasols. Le patio où nous prenions les petits déjeuner toujours copieux, était très intimiste, élégant. Le riad est de taille familial. L'important à retenir est la qualité de l'accueil de Badr qui sait être présent, prévenant et discret.
Cons: Petit bemol : La chambre restait humide malgré la chaleur sèche, probablement en raison de la piscine à proximité.

De locatie en zeer fijne host die alles doet om het verblijf naar wens te maken. Ook tijdens verblijf stuurt hij berichtjes om te vragen of alles naar wens is.

La struttura è stupenda un tipico Riad. Il proprietario Badr è stato attentissimo molto accogliente! Ci ha aiutato tantissimo e consigliato tanti posti stupendi! Avevo prenotato online il volo per il giro in mongolfiera che è stato annullato il giorno prima e Badr ci ha aiutato a prenotare nuovamente sul posto. La colazione abbondante sia dolce che salato e cambia ogni giorno tutto fatto in caso e genuino! Pulizia perfetta. Consiglio vivamente il soggiorno. Grazie veramente per tutto Badr è stato un piacere conoscerti. Accoglienza top!

Rustige plek. Alhoewel je de scooters veel hoort rijden. Het zwembadje is binnen, op dak zijn wel 4 zonnenbedden. Ik denk dat ik in de warme periode hier niet zou verblijven. Wij zouden dit verblijf een 8 geven.
Cons: Het is ontbijt is goed vullend. Dit is wel het minst lekkere ontbijt dat we bij de riads ( 6 verschillende) hebben gehad. Personeel wel erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk.

Nice and comfortable riad with a small pool, A/C and a rooftop area. Location was very central, but still quiet. All the riad staff members were very kind. Espacially Badr, the riad manager, was so (kids)friendly and helped us out with every question we had about Marrakech and surrounding. He even arranged tours, had great food and restaurant advises and was reachable literally 24/7 via phone/app. Breakfast and Dinner was fresh, good and hand made. Vacation treatment like it should be👍thanks again. Hope to coming back one day!

El Riad 22 l’Etoile d’Orient es un lugar bonito y muy coqueto, con una ubicación excelente, a tan solo 200 metros del zoco, lo que lo hace perfecto para moverse y disfrutar del entorno. Quiero destacar especialmente la amabilidad y hospitalidad de Badr, siempre atento, cercano y dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento, haciendo que la estancia sea aún más agradable. Además, el desayuno era muy completo y delicioso. Nada más llegar, también nos ofrecieron una cena típica marroquí riquísima, un detalle que hizo que la experiencia empezara de la mejor manera posible.

L'accueil au Riad a été vraiment top.. Un hôte vraiment tres acceuillant qui se soucis du bien-être et du bon séjour des voyageurs . Le Riad est très beau et propre. Le plus, le petit déjeuner frais fait le matin, exceptionnel ! Bien placé, le riad est proche des souks et des points d'intérêts. Pour info, nous étions 7 et avons occupé 3 belles chambres.

Die Lage des Riads ist perfekt, um die Souks und das Zentrum von Marrakech zu erkunden. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker, reichhaltig und authentisch. Badr ist äußerst hilfsbereit und steht bei jeder Frage zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer sind etwas dunkel, aber das ist typisch für ein Riad.

Vores vært var helt fantastisk hjælpsom. Han gjorde alt for at vi havde det godt og fik os til at føles os hjemme. Han hjalp os med simkort, billetter og lignende. Det gjorde at vi havde en super god ferie.

Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse au coeur de Marrakech : accessibilité parfaite si vous arrivez en taxi, dîner le soir sur place possible directement au Riad, les petits déjeuners sont copieux et très bons, la chambre était confortable pour 2 personnes, spacieuse avec une ouverture directe sur le balcon et la cour intérieure du Riad.

Está siempre disponible para todo, nos facilitó los servicios de traslado que necesitábamos, nos aconsejó lugares que visitar y cosas prácticas, como dónde cambiar dinero. Asimismo, es un cocinero excelente. Cenamos dos noches en el riad y la comida estaba deliciosa, el mejor tajine de pollo que probamos en Marrakech. Con nuestra bebé ha sido super amable. Todos los días le traía un yogur y jugaba con ella. Es un encanto.
Cons: Hay dos cosas que no nos gustaron. Los colchones de las camas son duros y pueden resultar incómodos. Nuestra habitación es la única de la planta baja, donde se sirven los desayunos, por lo que resulta molesto escuchar a los otros huéspedes desayunar si aún no te has levantado.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo riad per 3 notti ed è stata un’esperienza davvero bellissima. Il riad è molto curato, accogliente e situato in una posizione ottima per visitare la Medina. Ci siamo sentiti subito a nostro agio. Badr è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile fin dal primo momento, sempre pronto ad aiutarci con qualsiasi richiesta e a darci consigli utili per il nostro soggiorno. L’organizzazione del transfer dall’aeroporto è stata perfetta e molto comoda. Un ringraziamento speciale per la sorpresa di compleanno, un gesto davvero inaspettato e molto apprezzato!

Il riad è una piccola perla, in cui ti senti subito a casa. È b comodo per raggiungere il centro e posizionato in una via nascosta e tranquilla. Le camere sono spaziose, pulite e dotate di tutto ciò che serve. La colazione è ottima e sempre fresca, ma cio' che davvero contraddistingue il riad è Badr, il proprietario. È una persona meravigliosa, di una, disponibilità e di un efficienza incredibile e dotato di una gentilezza rara. Non potevamo chiedere di meglio!!!!

Abbiamo trovato il riad gestito da Badr davvero pulito! Vicino al souk e a diversi punti per mangiare. Abbiamo anche pranzato nel Riad ed è stato davvero un buon pasto, tipico marocchino, fresco e completo. La cosa che ci ha lasciato però il ricordo più piacevole è stato proprio Badr, un ragazzo gentile, disponibile, che è sempre stato presente e attento ad ogni nostra esigenza senza mai esagerare ma facendoti sentire a casa!

Badr was exceptional and went above and beyond to answer any questions. Communication with Badr was excellent and he came and picked us up one night when we were lost in the Medina. Badr let us leave excess luggage at the Riad while we went to the desert. I would recommend staying here and hope to return one day. Thank you for everything Badr!!! You are the best.

The location is pretty good, close to the main street of the medina and was easy to find. Staff was very nice and helpful, gave us recommendations and helped with everything that we needed. The rooms had air conditioning which was perfect for trying to reduce the humidity and making some heat when needed.
Cons: The biggest problem is the humidity from the rooms and the mold on the walls and on the shower curtains. Everything smelled like it and after we arrived home we had the wash and disinfect everything in order to make it go away….

This Riad was perfect for a Moroccan experience. The location was excellent, only a short walk away from central medina. It was on a quiet street and felt very safe. The host Badr was so kind and helpful. We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. We were provided with a delicious traditional breakfast each morning and they even gave us some breakfast to go when we left very early to catch our flight the last day. I would highly recommend this property!

Badr is an exceptional host — genuinely kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The room was spotless, cleaned daily, with fresh towels every day. Although riads can be quite cool, the air conditioning worked perfectly and allowed us to heat the room, which made our stay much more comfortable. No entiendo que tenga una nota tan alta. Hemos estado en otros riads mucho mejores y más baratos. La ubicación no está mal pero no es de las mejores.
Cons: Las fotos no corresponden al estado de las habitaciones. El Riad está viejo, descuidado y nuestra habitación tenía polvo. No tiene ningún extra, ni un triste vaso en el baño, el secador de pelo no funcionaba( me cambiaron por otro) y el armario no invitaba a dejar nada....El desayuno es de 8:30 a 10:30. De tres días, solo desayunamos alli el primero porq tuvimos q esperar media hora hasta q nos lo sirvieron. Un desayuno normalito. The owner is a wonderful, helpful man. The riad was nice and the room had AC—it wasn't cold. The building's location is great.

Badr was an exceptional host - he was very helpful when my husband was sick and walked with us to the pharmacy, he also got my husband his favourite moroccon pastries and a small gift for his birthday. He also told us what price we should be paying for things so we didn't get ripped off. The breakfast was great and varied. Bed was comfortable, nice terrace and daily housekeeping.
Cons: Be ready for early wake up calls with the call to prayer. Shower was slow draining. Would be helpful for labels to be on the toiletries.

Very nice and comfortable beds and good location. Wonderful staff: they even prepared packed breakfast when we left at 5 a.m and walked us to the taxi: amazing service. Also went out of their way to make us comfortable up in the sunny terrace in a winter day. Truly nice people.

Excellent séjour dans ce riad ! Le lieu est magnifique, très propre et parfaitement entretenu. Le personnel est extrêmement sympa, accueillant et toujours souriant, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. On s’y sent vraiment bien, tout était parfait du début à la fin. Cons: The welcome was very poor. After knocking four times, a lady (possibly a cleaning staff member) opened the door. There was no greeting or smile, and we were asked to sit without any explanation. Later, the person in charge arrived. The room was extremely cold, and the furniture was in bad condition. Additionally, the bathroom had no storage space at all, which made it very inconvenient. The cleanliness was not good.

Excellent location, walkable to most spots of interest. The riad is cozy and pleasant and Badr (the host) was very attentive to all of our needs, being flexible with schedules and supporting with tours and transfers information.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits entre amies dans au Riad Anya 1 Spa qui est magnifique ! Nous avons payé un supplément pour qu'on vienne nous récupérer à l'aéroport et le chauffeur a été très arrangeant, il nous a permis de retirer de l'argent. Nous avons été très bien accueillies, comme des princesses et on nous a servi notre premier thé marocain avec des gâteaux dans un très beau salon devant la piscine. Le personnel est adorable et au petit soin. Notre chambre au dernier étage était superbe composée d'un lit double et d'un vrai lit simple (pas juste un canapé) donc les lits étaient très confortables. La salle de bain avait une double vasque et la douche était grande. La chambre était calme. Elle est vraiment très belle et la décoration a été choisie avec goût ! Quelqu'un est venu refaire nos lits et nous remettre des serviettes propres tous les jours. L'hébergement est bien situé dans un quartier tranquille à proximité de l'hôtel LA MAMOUNIA. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et copieux (œufs, laitage, spécialités marocaines, olives, dattes, fruits secs). Ils font aussi pour les personnes sans gluten (une de mes amies était allergique au gluten et ils ont fait attention). Il y a aussi un jacuzzi que nous n'avons pas utilisé et un hammam avec possibilité de demander des massages. Merci pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir ! Cons: Nous avons mangé 1 soir dans l'hébergement pour environ 20 euros par personne. Le repas était très bon mais le plat principal (un tajine à la viande et aux pruneaux) n'était pas assez copieux. Nous avons dû redemander de la semoule et de la viande qui nous a été accordé sans supplément. Il faudrait en mettre davantage dans les assiettes. Nous avions demandé un petit déjeuner à emporter car nous avions une excursion à Essaouira, nous avons trouvé le petit déjeuner à emporter trop léger (beaucoup de fruits mais pas grand chose à manger). Les petits déjeuners sur place sont très copieux mais à emporter ils ne correspondent pas à ce dont on peut s'attendre pour un hôtel de ce prix. Hormis ces deux points, c'était parfait !

Lo que más gustó fue la disponibilidad de Badr, que cuando necesitábamos algo podíamos comunicarnos fácilmente con él.
Cons: Los puntos negativos fueron que nos habían concedido la entrada al Riad a las 11:00 y hasta las 14:30 no pudimos entrar a la habitación. Otro, que la calefacción no funcionaba muy bien, no están preparados para días fríos y el aire parece que no tenía bomba de calor.

Lovely little ryad in the Medina. Close to the souk but at the same time on a quiet road. The room was cleaned daily and towels changed. The host, Badr is amazing always attentive and there for advice or if you need a cup of tea and coffee. I hope to come back again.

Really nice Riad, traditional and very beautiful. Our host Badr was really helpful and very kind. Welcomed us with a cup of tea and offered advice with what is around and we can visit. Always available to help and respond to every query. The room was very clean and we had fresh towels every day. In the centre of the Medina but really nice and calm so you can relax after the long walks. Breakfast was delicious as well. Really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it. Good value for money.

Abbiamo soggiornato nel Riad 22 L'Etoile d'Oriente per il nostro primo viaggio a Marrakech. Il Riad è molto accogliente e confortevole, curato in ogni dettaglio. Il valore aggiunto è il personale, specialmente Badr che ogni giorno ci ha supportate e coccolate facendoci sentire a casa. Un ringraziamento speciale anche alle signore che si occupano della colazione, tutto buonissimo! Lo consiglio vivamente per chi vuole passare qualche giorno o poco più in questa città magica!

Beautiful Riad in a fantastic location. Badr is an exceptional host and couldn't do enough for us. When we first arrived we realised you cannot drive directly to the Riad and as we had booked some trips, Badr showed us where the meeting point was. It is very convenient, just around the corner from the Riad and where all the local tour companies pick up. The breakfast was delicious and we ate around the pool and on the roof terrace - very relaxing and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay here, it couldn't have been better.

Il riad è piccolo ma molto bello. Forse dalle foto sembra piu grande. Ti sembra di stare in casa perché è come se fosdi in una grande famiglia! Ti offrono subito il the quando arrivi e ti consentono di restare in attesa del tuo volo nella parte comune quando parti.

Es un rotundo 10. Lo auténtico del lugar, su ubicación ideal para caminar a cualquier parte y ese desayuno espectacular. También cenamos allí el mejor tajine del viaje. Pero lo que realmente marca la diferencia es la atención y el cuidado que te da Badr. Hemos viajado mucho y ese nivel de cuidar al huésped nunca lo habíamos vivido. Es un lugar para volver mil veces.

Me encantó el personal encantador. Estuvo atento a todo. Nos puso un desayuno antes de la hora para que pudiéramos desayunar antes de nuestra excursión. Nos recibió con un te. Nos imprimió los billetes de vuelta si .coste. nos enseñó y acompaño para facilitar nuestro camino por calles seguras. Nos dio su teléfono por si necesitamos algo. Nos facilito el taxi de vuelta a el aeropuerto. Tuvo toda clase de detalles con nosotros

La struttura è una chicca, a due passi dalla Medina ma allo stesso tempo in un vicolo calmo e tranquillo. Badar il nostro giovane host è stata una persona super disponibile, ci ha trovato le guide, i ristoranti, i parcheggi e ci ha sempre suggerito cosa fare con tanta riservatezza e senza essere assolutamente invadente! Super cordiale e disponibile in ogni momento. Infine ma non per importanza, il riad offre una super colazione, ricca e abbonandote da poter fare in terrazza o vicino alla piscina!!
Cons: Niente!! Unica cosa attenzione alle persone che si offrono per portarvi i bagagli, sono invadenti e chiedono una cifra sempre più alta, ma state tranquilli, poi ci pensa Badar ad allontanarli quando arrivate al riad se continuano ad insistere!!!

Cons: Posto decisamente non all’altezza delle aspettative né della presentazione su Booking. All’arrivo nessun servizio di accoglienza: ci siamo dovuti trascinare i bagagli da soli per vicoli pericolosi, in mezzo a moto che sfrecciano e ti sfiorano continuamente. Sarebbe sufficiente, come fanno molti altri riad, fornire un semplice servizio di trasporto con carrelli o carretti. La gestione è pessima: il bagno cade a pezzi, non esce acqua dalla doccia, il lavandino è otturato e il water completamente dissestato. Puzza di fumo nelle camere e totale strafottenza dello staff. Siamo lontanissimi dalle quattro stelle di cui si fregiano — questo posto non ne merita nemmeno due. La colazione è di qualità pessima, con prodotti scadenti e scarsa varietà. Inoltre, le pareti non insonorizzate hanno reso impossibile dormire a causa dei continui rumori. Prezzo totalmente sproporzionato rispetto al servizio e alla location. Un’esperienza pessima, da incubo. Sconsigliamo vivamente questa struttura.

We had an amazing stay at this property! The location was great, walking distance to the main attractions, souks and lots of lovely restaurants. The Riad was lovely and the owner Badr and his team were great, very helpful and accommodating! They even gave us an early breakfast the day we flew. Could not recommend a stay more!

Ons verblijf in deze riad was werkelijk fantastisch. Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we ons ontzettend welkom. De gastheer Badr is uitzonderlijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hij staat altijd klaar met een glimlach en helpt graag met tips over Marrakech, leuke plekken om te eten en dingen om te doen. De kamer werd elke dag schoongemaakt en het ontbijt was iedere ochtend vers. Wat we bijzonder waardeerden, was de persoonlijke aandacht: toen één van ons zich een dagje niet helemaal fit voelde, zorgde Badr direct voor extra comfort en vroeg later of alles weer goed ging, dat zegt alles over de zorg en gastvrijheid hier. De riad zelf is prachtig, rustig en sfeervol, een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen na een dag in de drukte van de stad. Kortom: een absolute aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar een warme, verzorgde en gastvrije plek in Marrakech. Wij komen hier zeker terug!

Badr (y el personal) estuvo todo el rato pendiente de nosotros, nos ayudó a conseguir un taxi, imprimir los tickets y otras cosas que necesitábamos. La habitación y el baño eran muy grandes y bonitos. La piscina y las instalaciones comunes del Riad de 10 y, el desayuno muy completo. Cada día nos trajeron una cosa distinta.

El anfitrión fue encantador, siempre pendiente de todo, nos imprimió el último día las tarjetas de embarque sin problema. Nos aconsejó sobre la Medina. El alojamiento está en medio de la Medina, como a 15 minutos de la Plaza. Es muy acogedor, te dejan usar la piscina sin ningún problema, aparte de las toallas de la habitación, tienes toalla de piscina también. El desayuno estaba muy muy rico, hecho por ellos.

Este riad estaba muy regular. El personal solo te da algunas indicaciones, no es es el mas amable. Pero el GRAN problema es que la habitacion esta en malas condiciones, los muros tenian humedades, el baño es muy pequeño, incomodo, se veia sucio por la humedad, es un lugar poco comodo ( no hay casi tomas para cargar el celular al lado d ela cama), no hay espacio, la habitacion es oscura, huele mal. Ademas el barrio es muy feo.

The pool area is beautiful, and provides fantastic and much-needed refreshment in the summer sun. Large enough to swim (just) which is pretty big amongst Riads! The location is near enough to easily access the medina, although perhaps the wrong side for some of the most touristy areas (it's still very walkable though, even in the heat).
Cons: Breakfast was nice but not stand-out amazing. We did have some fantastic breakfasts in Morocco, and by comparison this one was largely bread and syrups/oils. That's a minor failing though - it certainly felt authentic and was tasty.

El Riad en si, es una joya en mitad del caos. Piscina para refrescarte, música de fondo, desayunos buenísimos y completos, camas cómodas, wifi, aire acondicionado y si a todo esto le añades que tienes como anfitrión a Badr, es ya una experiencia única. Badr estuvo pendiente de mi familia y de mi en todo momento, problemas que surgieron con el traslado al Aeropuerto nos lo soluciono al instante aún siendo su día libre, me dio su teléfono personal por si en cualquier momento de nuestra estancia allí surgía algun problema que lo llamará, que rápido acudia en busca nuestra. Ese detalle no tiene precio La verdad que ir aún país extraño y encontrar gente tan hospitalaria es difícil. Y como no, tengo que mencionar a Han que llegarás a la hora que llegarás siempre te esperaba con una sonrisa para desearte unas buenas noches o unos buenos días.. La distancia a la plaza El-FNA es de 15 minutos, pero son muy amenos ya que todo el camino está lleno de tiendas, negocios y gente Nuestra estancia en el Riad supero nuestras expectativas, espero volver más pronto que tarde

This place is stunning: excellent location with a nice pool that was great when resting in the afternoon after visiting the city in the morning and before goinf out for the evening. The decoration and interiors are really nicely done. This was a real riad where the internal garden did not have a plastic roof. There was a terrace where we had breakfast and and even higher one where to sunbathing. I stayed with my family, we had two rooms. The staff (Badr) was supernice with us but at the same time very effective: he walked us around to show how to get safely to the riad, where to eat, where to get water, etc... He suggested some good restaurants; some unpretentious with great food and some more touristic but with high quality vs price. He really pampered us. I even checked on us if we managed to get back to Italy safe!! Really great guy.

Codziennie serwowane jest śniadanie składające się z lokalnych słodkich dżemów i past. Są również napoje. Jest dużo stref wypoczynku. Właściciel jest bardzo pomocny, w stałym kontakcie z gośćmi.

Un tesoro oculto entre el caos de callejuelas de Marrakech. Una propiedad preciosa, con mucho encanto, y al frente de ella Badr, el encargado, un tipo excepcional que estuvo en todo momento pendiente de que nuestra estancia en Marrakech fuese lo más cómoda y agradable posible. Y digo en Marrakech y no sólo en el riad porque también se ofreció a ayudarnos en todo momento con lo que necesitásemos fuera de las instalaciones (traslados, compras, cambio de moneda, etc etc).
Cons: La primera noche no funcionó el aire acondicionado, pero llegamos tarde y no hubo manera de solucionarlo en ese momento. Sin embargo, a la mañana siguiente no tardaron en acudir dos técnicos que solucionaron el problema.

Badr is a great host, he came and picked us up where the taxi dropped us off to show us the way to the Riad, and welcomed us with tea and cookies while giving us tips for what to see and do during our stay. The room was also nice and clean and with AC. The shower was a tiny bit clogged so that it took a few minutes for the water to drain completely, but other than that everything went smoothly. The breakfast was also delicious and very abundant.

Fuimos tres amigas y fue una experiencia para repetir. El anfitrión Badr fue muy simpático y atento con nosotras. Nos ayudó con todo lo que le pedimos ya fuese direcciones o incluso imprimir los billetes del avión. Además, la habitacion estaba muy limpia y era preciosa. Esta contaba con nevera, aire acondicionado y un WiFi que iba muy bien. Pudimos desayunar todos los días en la terraza con un desayuno que estaba riquísimo. En general es de los mejores sitios en los que nos hemos alojado tanto por las instalaciones como por la hospitalidad que se nos mostró. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo!!

Badr gentilissimo e disponibile a venire in contro a qualsiasi nostra necessità, ci è stata servita la colazione prima dell’orario e l’ultimo giorno ci è stata data da asporto. Anche le ragazze che collaborano sono super gentili, anche se purtroppo non parlavano inglese e non abbiamo potuto congratularci con loro.

Riad decisamente da consigliare, posizione ottima a pochi passi dall'ingresso nella vivace medina, ma decisamente fuori dal caos, in zona sicura tranquilla e silenziosa. Ambiente elegante e pulitissimo, piccola piscina nel grazioso cortile interno per chi desidera rinfrescarsi nei caldi pomeriggi. La nostra stanza al primo piano sul cortile interno, grande, accessoriata e con comodo letto. Il bagno ottimo e spazioso. Pulizia quotidiana. Colazione abbondante e con prodotti freschi servita in giardino o in terrazza. Non abbiamo utilizzato il servizio ristorante ma per chi lo desiderasse è possibile cenare prenotando in mattinata. Per chi in auto, parcheggio custodito a 50m. a costo giornaliero modestissimo. Badr è un hotel manager eccellente, cordiale, gentilissimo, disponibile, premuroso, mai invadente, ci ha accompagnato personalmente al parcheggio assicurandosi che tutto fosse in regola e di nostro gradimento, lasciandoci il suo recapito per eventuali necessità. il riad é immerso in un’atmosfera meravigliosa, in posizione centrale ma lontano dal caos e facilmente raggiungibile. ogni cosa é stata perfetta transfer da e per l’aeroporto organizzato dalla struttura puntuale e gentile. colazione ottima e abbondante. consiglio di cenare nel riad perché i piatti tradizionali sono eccellenti e serviti in maniera impeccabile. le stanze sono molto pulite e la piscina un punto di forza, specialmente nei mesi più caldi. la gestione della struttura viene curata in ogni dettaglio da Badr che è decisamente il valore aggiunto: sempre presente con discrezione e professionalità , disponibile, accogliente e pronto a gestire qualsiasi richiesta nel modo migliore. Il nostro soggiorno in questo riad è stato semplicemente perfetto. Il proprietario è una persona super accogliente, gentile e sempre attenta alle nostre esigenze: ci ha fatto sentire come a casa fin dal primo momento. La piscina è l’ideale per rinfrescarsi dopo una giornata in giro, e le stanze sono sempre pulite e curate. Il riad dispone anche di tanti spazi comuni dove rilassarsi in tranquillità, perfetti per leggere un libro o sorseggiare un tè. La colazione è varia, abbondante e deliziosa, con prodotti freschi e sempre diversi ogni mattina. Una sera abbiamo deciso di cenare direttamente nel riad e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi: con soli 40€ in tre abbiamo gustato un antipasto di verdure, un tajine saporito e delle crêpes con Nutella e banana. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo! Consigliatissimo per chi cerca un soggiorno autentico, rilassante e con un servizio impeccabile. Torneremo sicuramente!

What I liked most about the facility was the manager's approach to customers, not just me but all guests. He's helpful, accommodating, and always available. Staying at this place is an exceptional experience that you won't easily find anywhere else. We loved it so much, and it's quite obvious that so many others did. The place is well kept clean fresh. Smells so good and it disconnects you from the surroundings right after you step into it. Also, the people there, we're a big part of our satisfaction. Mr Badr is just a great host who pays attention to all the details. Whenever I come back to Marrakech, this is gonna be my place.
Cons: The only downside of this place is the fact that you cannot really easily park next to it since it's part of the old city. So make sure to contact Mr. Badr if you drive to it beforehand to plan it properly. If you don't drive lucky you.

Walking distance to the Medina and modern part of the city. Small Riad, just few rooms so was quiet and peaceful. Badr was very nice, attentive and helpful all the time. I surely recommend to stay.

Precioso Riad de tan solo 5 habitaciones, eso hace que sientas que estás en tu propia casa, y que el ambiente sea tranquilo y muy agradable. Esta bien ubicado, a un paseo de 15 minutos de la Plaza Jemaa el-Fna, las calles pertenecen al zocco por lo que están llenas de tiendas, sitios de comida, cafeterías, puestos ambulantes, etc. El Riad, es precioso, la habitación maravillosa, está muy limpio, el patio es muy agradable, los desayunos allí son especiales, la alberca con agua limpia y siempre fresca hace que la calor del verano desaparezca. Y lo mejor de todo, el personal del Riad, en esos días se convierten en tu familia y están pendiente de que nada te falte y de ayudarte en todo lo que necesites. He ido varias veces a Marruecos, y este ha sido el mejor Riad en el que me he hospedado. Me he sentido como una auténtica Reina. Gracias por todo !!!!

¡Nuestro paso por este Ríad fue simplemente fantástico! Su ubicación es inmejorable: en pleno corazón de la Medina, pero en una zona tranquila que permite descansar sin ruidos. Perfecto para explorar los zocos y principales monumentos a pie. La atención fue de 10. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa desde el primer momento, siempre con una sonrisa y dispuestos a ayudarnos en todo. Badr (o el nombre del anfitrión, si lo quieres añadir) fue un anfitrión excelente, atento y muy profesional. El desayuno fue una delicia: variado, abundante y lleno de sabores locales. Cada mañana era un placer empezar el día en ese ambiente tan acogedor. Y el Ríad en sí es precioso: decorado con mucho gusto, lleno de detalles tradicionales marroquíes y con rincones encantadores donde relajarse después de un día de excursión. Sehr netter Empfang und es tut immer wieder gut in eine ruhige Riad zu kommen. Sehr gutes Frühstücken und wir konnten unser Gepäck bis zur Weiterfahrt vor Ort lassen. Hatte meine AirPods im Zimmer liegen gelassen, waren dann bei meiner Tasche hinterlegt, vielen Dank dafür.

Badr nous a très très bien accueillis!! Toujours souriant et au petit soin, il nous a permis de passer un super séjour. La chambre est spacieuse et confortable, on a très bien dormi. Le riad est proche de la médina mais dans une petite rue calme. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux! Le riad permet d'avoir le rooftop ou on peut prendre le petit déjeuner et on peut apprécier la fraîcheur du soir tranquillement et la piscine permet de bien se rafraîchir! Nous sommes restés 6 nuits et ça nous a parfaitement convenu!

il riad è molto curato e accogliente. nei giorni caldi è meraviglioso tornare al fresco e fare un bagno in piscina o potersi stendere sui lettini del rooftop a prendere il sole di giorno e godere dell’aria fresca la sera. Badr è splendido: un punto di riferimento per gentilezza e professionalità. A quiet, cozy oasis just steps away from the madness of the medina. There are only a handful of rooms, so it's very calm, and the shared spaces by the pool and on the roof terrace are lovely too. The riad is well sign-posted, which makes it easy to find. Badr really made our stay extra special – he was super helpful and kind, and we appreciated him taking the time to chat and even help with our darija! We hope we'll be able to return one day.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo Riad per qualche giorno e non possiamo che definirla un’esperienza indimenticabile. La posizione è perfetta: si trova in una zona tranquilla ma centralissima, tanto che abbiamo sempre raggiunto il cuore della Medina a piedi, senza mai dover prendere il taxi — tranne la sera per andare a cena e per il transfer all'aeroporto. Uno dei punti di forza è stata senz’altro l’accoglienza di Badr. Fin dal primo momento ci ha fatto sentire come se fossimo a casa, sempre presente, gentile e disponibile. Grazie a lui il soggiorno ha avuto un valore aggiunto: ci ha dato consigli utili, si è fermato spesso a fare due chiacchiere con noi e, più di una volta, ha anche contrattato per noi il prezzo del taxi per l’aeroporto e ci ha accompagnato persino a prendere l'acqua. Un gesto che non dimenticheremo mai: in occasione del compleanno della mia ragazza, Badr ha organizzato per lei una piccola sorpresa davvero speciale e le ha persino regalato un bracciale. Un’attenzione che dice molto sul cuore e la cura con cui gestisce il Riad. La struttura è pulitissima: la biancheria viene cambiata ogni giorno, la colazione è abbondante (spremuta di arancia, thè marocchino, caffè, latte, pancakes, pane marocchino, uova ecc..) e tipicamente marocchina, la piscina è sempre pulita e ben tenuta. Tutto è stato perfetto, curato nei minimi dettagli. Consigliamo questo Riad a chiunque voglia vivere Marrakech in un’atmosfera autentica, rilassata e accogliente e sentirsi coccolato. Se sei a Marrakech devi assolutamente soggiornare in questo Riad che ti fa sentire come a casa. Badr, il ragazzo che gestisce il tutto, è stato super cortese e disponibile ad ogni nostra esigenza. Cosa molto importante, la pulizia era impeccabile (cosa da non sottovalutare in Marocco) e sempre tutto organizzato al meglio. Per due volte abbiamo avuto la necessità di fare la colazione prima (tra l’altro buonissima), ed è sempre stato possibile. Inoltre una sera tardi siamo tornati infreddoliti e si sono preoccupati di farci un fantastico thé alla menta (tipico loro). Insomma è stato tutto perfetto Inoltre la posizione del Riad sta un po’ fuori dal caos generale della medina, quindi la zona è tranquilla anche la sera. Grazie ancora Badr😘

Badr è un host incredibile, già dal giorno prima del nostro arrivo mi ha contattato per chiedermi se poteva servirmi qualcosa. Ogni giorno sempre disponibile per fare due chiacchiere e dare consigli su dove andare, dove mangiare etc . Durante il soggiorno c'è stato il compleanno della mia compagna e le ha portato un regalino a sorpresa dopo la colazione. C'è anche la possibilità di organizzare con lui un corso di cucina per preparare una Tajine marocchina. Il Riad si trova in una posizione abbastanza strategica in quanto nella Medina (15 minuti a piedi circa dalle attrazioni principali) ma in una zona dove è possibile circolare in auto quindi nel momento in cui hai bisogno di un taxi o se hai organizzato una escursione il pickup point è praticamente fuori casa.

The host Badr was extremely hospitable, always ready to help. He made our stay really comfortable. The riad is extremely beautiful, the inner patio and the terrace are the most. The rooms decoration is also really authentic. The breakfast was really good, on the last day we were offered to have it earlier due to the morning flight. The location is perfect as well.

Das Personal insbesondere Badr war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir wurden direkt mit Tee begrüßt. Ebenso hat er uns gute Restaurant Empfehlungen gegeben. Das Frühstück hat er für uns 1,5h früher zubereitet, da wir sehr früh abreisen mussten. Die Unterkunft war sauber. Es gab zwei sehr schöne Dachterassen. Großes geräumiges Zimmer. Die Lage war nahgelegen zu den Souks.

Le Riad est très bien placé, on a quasiment tout fait à pied. Notre hôte Badr a été formidable, de notre arrivée jusqu’à notre retour en France. Le Riad est bien tenu et très propre, notre chambre était nettoyé chaque jour. Le petit déjeuné est copieux et très bon, si vous avez un besoin ne pas hésiter à faire la demande, l’équipe du Riad y répondra et s’adaptera à vos besoins. J’ai séjourné avec ma femme et ma fille de 2ans, cette dernière a adoré notre séjour, et notre hôte qui était au petit soin pour avec elle. Je recommande l’établissement sans hésiter, et vous pouvez faire confiance à Badr et son équipe pour rendre votre séjour encore plus agréable.

What i liked the most in Marrakesh, was that behind the big doors on the small streets of Medina, you find a different world at each step, in a good meaning. That kind of place was Etoile d'Orient. We had a wonderfull time here. The room was clean and it was checked everyday. In addition we got fresh towels everyday, too. The breakfast was delicious, typicall moroccan style. Nos hospedamos 3 parejas. El RIAD 22 es un lugar agradable, limpio y tranquilo. BADR es el anfitrión perfecto. La atención, amabilidad y trato recibido por su parte fue maravillosa, nos ayudó en todo lo que le pedimos y estuvo pendiente de nosotros en todo momento, incluso nos acompañó a coger los traslados contratados y taxis. El resto del personal también fue muy amable. Una vez más, ¡Muchas gracias por todo BADR! Excelente desayuno. La cena que nos prepararon fue espectacular. Buena ubicación, pero difícil de encontrar por la falta de señalización.

Sadly photos and reviews did not match reality. This Riad is located down dark, dirty narrow back alleys. On the way to it you pass garbage, abandoned cars, feral cats , graffiti as you wind your way from the main street to their location. We really did not feel comfortable walking down these alleys, especially at night. There is no road access , so if you have luggage you'll be carrying it down these alleys. First impressions were that it was quite a cute place. The is an inner courtyard seating area with plants and a small plunge pool. All the bedrooms open onto this courtyard. We booked a quite room and this was confirmed by the owners in writing. We were given a room on the ground floor right beside the pool, main entrance and the public seating area. Upon entering the dark dingy room our hearts sank.... the bathroom was black with mould. Everything in the room felt damp. There was no ventilation. We immediately asked for a different room but were told they were fully booked and there was nothing else available. We didn't unpack. To add to our 'enjoyment' of this establishment, sleep was almost impossible. Other guests arriving , doors opening and closing, the pool pump running, guests in the public area outside our room all made for little chance to sleep. The following morning we told the manager that we were not happy and that we wanted a refund because we would not stay in a damp dirty room with so much noise. He promised to 'speak to the owner' for us. Because they were fully booked we looked for alternative accomodation which we fortunately were able to find. Riad 22 then told Booking.com that we were a 'no show' and refused any refund. They lie. Fortunately after several calls with Booking.com we are able to leave our review which a 'non show' can't do. This was an awful experience. I urge anyone considering this place to just look elsewhere unless you really like sleepless nights in dirty damp rooms.

This meant we could not leave our review. I had to escalate this to Booking.com with copies of correspondence which showed the owners to be liars.

Es un Riad muy tranquilo y acogedor, situado en zona tranquila a unos 20 minutos andando de la plaza Jamaa el Fna. Buen desayuno típico marroquí (café, té, creps, pan, miel, mermelada...) y un trato excepcional por parte de Badar, muy atento en todo momento. También te ofrecen las excursiones típicas y te facilitan taxi para desplazarte.

Una de las mejores cosas de nuestro viaje. El riad es auténtico, super bonito, limpio, cuidado, no le falta detalle. Al tener pocas habitaciones es súper tranquilo. El desayuno espectacular ,de diez. Está ubicado en el centro de la medina. El primer día nos pareció que costaría encontrarlo pero realmente no tuvimos ningún problema ni dificultad. Al final ya nos movíamos con facilidad. Nuestro hijo de 7 años estaba encantado, el riad le encantó! Pudo disfrutar de la piscina aunque el agua estaba algo fresca. Pero sobre todo quiero destacar la amabilidad del personal! Muchas gracias a Badr por todo!!!!! Fue muy amable, simpático, profesional y pendiente en todo momento! Nos ayudó a reservar todas las excursiones y fue todo un acierto, lo recomiendo totalmente! Las volvería a reservar con el sin pensarlo. La verdad es que hemos disfrutado mucho de nuestra estancia en este Riad.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad 22! The service from Badr was absolutely excellent—he made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The shower was warm and refreshing, adding to the overall comfort. The location is also perfect, just a short walk from the busy streets of the medina, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Ho soggiornato in questo riad con la mia famiglia (12 persone in totale) per celebrare il 50° anniversario di matrimonio dei miei genitori. L'esperienza è stata eccezionale, grazie all'ospitalità, alla cortesia e alla grande disponibilità di Badr, il gestore. La colazione, preparata al momento da due signore gentilissime, era semplice ma completa e in autentico stile marocchino. Il riad è una piccola oasi di tranquillità, dotata di ogni comfort; nella nostra camera abbiamo persino trovato una piastra per capelli! La posizione è leggermente defilata rispetto al cuore della Medina, ma in pochi minuti a piedi si raggiungono facilmente le pittoresche viuzze dei souk. Consiglio vivamente questo riad!

Sehr schönes Riad, der Innenhof mit dem Pool wirklich wunderbar. Das Zimmer war groß und mit schönem Bad. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr gut, auf der Dachterasse kann man super liegen & ausruhen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Und es sind zwar ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß ins richtige Zentrum, aber der Weg eignet sich schon super für den ersten Bummel über den Souk :)

La colazione, fatta sul momento per noi è stata sicuramente la nostra parte preferita. Gli spazi in comune della struttura sono molto carini e la stanza è confortevole. L'host badr è stato sempre molto gentile e disponibile. Anche la posizione è ottimale, vicino al centro della medina, anche se di notte i vicoletti possono incutere un po' di timore.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We were welcomed upon arrival, with tea and cake. The manager was incredibly hospitable along with his staff. We were greeted with breakfast each morning, shown the way to the markets and square and taxis organised for us. He spoke with some of the tours we booked to confirm everything was ok and on time and organised a surprise cake for our friend’s birthday. A wonderful, clean and accommodating stay. Would definitely recommend and would 100% return.

Ci ha prenotato le escursioni e procurato una guida locale in italiano. Ottima la colazione preparata dalla signora che c’è al Riad, sempre disponibile e sempre pronta a preparare qualsiasi cosa! Non fatevi spaventare dalle strade intorno al Riad, sembrano pericolose ma non lo sono assolutamente, noi eravamo 3 donne e abbiamo girato anche da sole nei vari souk. Consigliatissimo!!!!!

The room was cozy, beds were comfy and were cleaned daily. Had a nice rooftop to embrace some sun. The best part of this Riad was the hospitality - The manager was fantastic and always available. He made us plenty of Moroccan Tea during our stay at any time we requested, free. The Madame’s made us a lovely traditional Moroccan breakfast every morning. Perfect stay. Thank you.

Riad is in a good location and the staff working at the Riad are kind and helpful.
Cons: Booking.com is aware of the issue that I faced as there were multiple calls with them and also messages with the property owners, but nothing was done in this regard. I made the booking a few months before the trip when I had a lot of options and choices (even places with bigger rooms, more amenities etc), but the key decision criteria for us was to have a heated pool due to our little son. It was stated on booking.com that pool is heated, and I also triple checked with the property via the contact property messages that pool is indeed hot as that was the main decision point. However, when we reached we saw that the pool is cold and it could not be heated. I raised the issue on day 1 with owners and booking.com and after lots of back and forth, nothing, I mean NOTHING was done. We were there for 6 nights, so, it's a really long stay at a property, but booking.com just gave up on us and did not resolve this issue with the property, neither the property allowed an exception to cancel and check-out earlier. Out holidays did get ruined because of this (they stay part) - We pivoted to make other plans to make the most of it on the other fronts. Very disappointed with booking.com & owners of the property for not being flexible with their guests.

El Riad es precioso, la atención de las personas que cocinan y el desayuno es abundante y delicioso.
Cons: sería bueno tener un anfitrión que te reciba desde el momento que llegas y te de la información necesaria, en nuestro caso la tuvimos, pero el día después. la llegada al Riad es un poco complicada y no tuvimos ayuda por parte del anfitrión.

The staff was very kind. When we arrived, they immediately offered us tea and cookies. Since we had brought our own pomegranate, they provided a knife and plain yogurt to enjoy it with. The complex had several floors to explore, where we could eat the dinner we bought from the street.
Cons: Since breakfast was served right outside our door, the noise and clatter of dishes started at 9 a.m. Our room was the only one located on the ground floor. Additionally, the rating is significantly lowered because the only blanket in our room smelled like cat urine. Absolutely terrible...

Frühstück sehr gut, marokkanische Spezialitäten, ausreichend. Ambiente sehr schön Riad interessante Architektur, warmes Wasser. Lage in der Mitte von Basar, man sieht echtes Leben der Marokkaner. Man kann die Unterkünfte nicht mit unseren europäischen Standards beurteilen, sie sind schon anders, aber hier wird Mühe gegeben, dass man sich wohl fühlt. Parkplatz in der Nähe.

Piccola Riad come da foto (del tutto veritiere). Posizione molto buona, dentro la Medina ma un po' fuori dalla confusione e su un vicolo, nessun rumore a nessuna ora del giorno o della notte. Tutti i posti da vedere raggiungibili a piedi, mai preso un taxi o altro. Colazione molto buona, purtroppo non abbiamo provato la cena perché stavano sistemando la cucina. Una parola speciale per Beshir che gestisce la struttura: sempre disponibile e gentile, sia di persona che su whatsapp. Si è addirittura svegliato alle 3:30 del mattino per accompagnarci al taxi! Consiglio organizzare con lui i transfer ed eventuali escursioni, tanto poi si affida agli altri: ma così, forse pagando qualche € di più (ma non di più), ma fa tutto lui e vi vengono a prendere / vi portano direttamente al Riad.

Warm welcome, the staff was very accommodating. The Riad is beautiful, small but cosy rooms. Breakfast was pleantifull, love the msemen. The staff was king enough to help us find a bag we forgot in the taxi. We had a wonderdul stay.

Bachir le propriétaire est extrêmement gentil, disponible et très serviable. Le petit déjeuner et les dîners sont copieux et délicieux. Le Riad est tres joliment décoré, s’y dégage une sensation de bien être. Le Riad est proche d’accès de beaucoup de site à pied.
Cons: Salle de bain un peu étriquée et logement non insonorisé. Prévoyez des boules quies.
