Cons: Séjour correct, mais très déçu du service. On m’a facturé un late checkout sans même m’en informer à l’avance. Aucune communication, aucune explication. Le comportement à la réception ne reflète absolument pas ce qu’on attend d’un hôtel qui se présente comme un établissement de luxe. Et la cerise sur le gâteau : lorsqu’on demande une facture, on vous répond que “ce n’est pas nous, parce que vous avez réservé sur Booking”. Une excuse incompréhensible et contraire au minimum de professionnalisme attendu. Très décevant pour un hôtel de ce standing

De beleefdheid van het personeel. Op het eerste oog (binnen) zag het er uit als een modern hotel. De valetparkeerder/de piccolo was super vriendelijk en is zijn fooi meer dan waard.

Cons: De locatie, we kwamen aanrijden en waande ons in een achterstandswijk. Waardoor we het idee kregen verkeerd te zitten. De service liet ook te wensen over. Bij aankomst (lokale tijd 15.30 uur) was er nog geen kamer klaar (incheck is overigens om 15.00 uur). Wij hadden een rit van 4,5 uur er op zitten. Er werd ons thee aangeboden wat ik eigenlijk niet hoefde (dus super vriendelijk), maar werd geplaatst op een terras (het was koud) en waar werkzaamheden gaande waren. Al met al geen goede start. Al helemaal niet van een 5 sterren hotel. Er was ook geen restaurant geopend volgens personeel, maar 1 restaurant waren wel mensen aan het eten (wellicht door hen afgehuurd??). Dus voor mij een niet al te beste start. Ik ben de stad maar meteen ingegaan om eindelijk wat te eten en gelukkig heeft fes mij niet teleurgesteld. Kamer was niet helemaal wat ik had verwacht. Wc en badkamer hadden geen ventilatie. Na het douchen kan je dus geen gebruik maken van de spiegel (om eventueel op te maken of iets dergelijks). Om die reden zou ik dit dan ook zeker niet aanbevelen. (Ik kwam overigens van mijn vorige bestemming uit een 5 sterren hotel die de lat elk jaar weer hoog leggen. De service top is)

Cons: A noter si vous réservez une chambre pour une famille, être attentif au nombre de lit disponible dans la chambre (sinon le coût d'un lit en plus sera à prévoir).

Cons: Le jaccusi qui mérite réparation & amélioration, l'information relativement au fonctionnement du hamman et saune. Prix des massages surfaits. Au petit déjeuner, il manquait plusieurs choses sur les tables (couverts, assiettes) ... Bizarement les choses se sont corrigées et les personnes au service se sont activés lorsque les deux directeurs se sont mis à table au petit déjeuner.

Cons: Eravamo in viaggio di nozze e siamo arrivati in albergo vestiti da sposi verso le 7 AM ma il tizio della reception ci ha letteralmente mandati via dicendo che non possiamo avere la camera perché il check in era alle 15 . Capisco bene la politica del hotel ma avevamo già specificato in anticipo un email con l’orario del nostro arrivo! E mi hanno risposto che avrebbero trovato una soluzione! Ma al momento di arrivo il tizio alla reception ci ha detto che tutti le camere del hotel erano piene e secondo noi non era affatto vero perché quando siamo tornati alle 15 in struttura eravamo solo noi e un altra coppia. Ci siamo trovati malissimo nel nostro giorno di nozze!!!! E Non hanno nemmeno preparato nulla di speciale per gli sposi. Pessimo per essere 5 stelle non ci torniamo più . In un hotel del genere doveva al meno proporre una camera di cortesia. Molto male!!!

Très belles architecture et décoration. Les espaces sont spacieux et lumineux. Idem pour pa chambre, très confortable. La piscine est grande et très agréable. Le petit déjeuner bon, varié et copieux. La vue sur la médina est superbe, ce qui implique qu’on en est assez loin et qu’il faut prendre un taxi ou sa voiture pour s’y rendre.

Cons: Impossible de prendre un bain car le bouchon ne fonctionnait pas. L’hôtel est un peu loin du centre mais cela permet d’avoir une superbe vue sur la médina.

Cons: Spa accommodatie zou privé moeten zijn (klopt niks van iedereen loopt langs en er zijn gigantische ramen die uitkijken naar het restaurant). Onze kamer zat vol met mieren en we hebben hier drie keer over moeten bellen voordat er actie ondernomen werd. Toen we uiteindelijk een nieuwe kamer kregen, deed het bad niet. Dit was onze laatste avond in het hotel. We wouden twee nachten er even tussen uit, maar het heeft ons alleen stress gegeven.

The staff is extremely accommodating. The only service I found was similar was at Hotel Mitsui in Japan. The facilities are beautiful and the jungle theme feels like an oasis in the landscape of the Fez desert. I had a tremendous stay. The hammam was absolutely incredible & the 3 restaurants were worth it as well.

Cons: I don’t have any negatives. I highly recommend this location. They have a guided tour to the Medina, so you really don’t feel like you’re too far away.

Todo no tengo nada negativo que decir. Ver el sol levantarse o la puesta de sol en ese entorno es algo que sienta de maravilla . Es muy moderno y limpio y sin embargo te lleva a un estado de intenso calma. L'hôtel est magnifique et tout est bien organisé. Le petit déjeuner est superbe et leurs crêpes sont très bonnes et bien garnies. Ils vous préparent même un petit déjeuner à emporter si vous avez un avion de bonne heure. Le bar est sympa avec de la bonne musique. Le personnel est très aimable

Cons: Il faut absolument un bar non fumeur. Les 2 bars sont encore fumeurs et c'est d'un autre temps. Les tarifs sont bien européens et les boissons un peu chères (capuccino plus cher qu'en Italie !)

Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb von Fės, bietet von der Terrasse aus einen sehr schönen Blick auf die Stadt. Das Hotel ist neu und entsprechend gut unterhalten. Beim Check-In hatten wir ursprünglich nicht die gebuchte Zimmerkategorie erhalten, was jedoch nach Intervention sofort korrigiert wurde. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig, hell und sauber. Dank raumhohen Fenstern ist es sehr hell. Schade, wurde der Anordnung und Ausrichtung der Zimmer nicht mehr Beachtung geschenkt. Die Aussicht ist bei den meisten Zimmern sehr limitiert. Das Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen) ist ausgezeichnet. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Grossartiges Rooftop-Restaurant inkl. Bar mit Tapas Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Die Medina von Fės ist mit dem Hotelshuttle oder Taxi in ein oaar Fahrminuten einfach zu erreichen Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier spontan um zwei Nächte verlängert, weil uns das Hotel sehr gut gefiel und um hier einen Ruhetag auf unserer Rundreise einzulegen.

Les chambres sont très bien, je n'ai pas eu le temps d'utiliser la piscine mais elle parait propre et belle , pour le déjeuner, par experience il n'est pas à la hauteur d'un hôtel haut de gamme , je parle du buffet , peut être qu'en service a table c parfait ? en tout état de cause les standards haut de gamme en terme de présentation et de maintien au frais des produits ne sont pas à la hauteur c dommage pour ce bijoux d'hôtel d'avoir des difficultés à mettre en place des buffets exceptionnels digne de ce nom.

Nous avons été très déçus par l’attitude de Ouafa à la réception, qui s’est montrée antipathique, voire limite impolie. Son comportement était tout à fait inapproprié et indigne d’un établissement cinq étoiles. Souhaitant faire remonter cet incident, nous avons demandé les coordonnées de la direction, mais elle a catégoriquement refusé de nous les transmettre. Son attitude laissait par ailleurs transparaître un certain malaise.

Les chambres sont très belles j’ai particulièrement aimé la salle de bain avec sa magnifique baignoire ! Le personnel en général et en particulier celui de la Restauration étaient à la hauteur.

Cons: Je voulais me reposer durant ce weekend mais malheureusement j'ai passé un très mauvais séjour à cause de la suite prestigieuse que je qualifie de cauchemar à cause du bruit des compresseurs de climatisation. Jai éteint ma climatisation, malgré qu'il faisait froid mais ceux des autres chambres étaient toujours allumées. Jai réclamé à la réception et à ma grande surprise, ils m'ont dis que c'est un problème connu et récurent auquel ils n'ont pas pu trouver de solution. Je me demande pourquoi la direction général de l'hôtel affecte ces suites pour un montant de 3000 Dhs par jour visant à terroriser les clients. Je suis vraiment déçu du comportement du staff qui na pris aucune initiative pour me faire au moins changer de suite malheureuse et non pas prestigieuse. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel pour les personnes qui veulent se reposer.

L'hôtel est d'un design à la fois moderne et oriental. Le petit-déjeuner est parfait, varié et goûteux un grand merci à Samira qui chaque jour connaissait nos petits habitudes, la chambre était spacieuse, confortable et propre. Un grand merci également à Shaimae à l'accueil qui nous a changé de chambre car proche de l'accueil donc trop d'aller et venue donc trop bruyante, elle a réglé le problème en quelques heures pour notre plus grand bonheur. Merci également à Kenza et Medhi, le personnel de l'hôtel est particulièrement chaleureux et professionnel, nous sommes habitués à voyager et cet hôtel était parfait.

Cons: La chambre au rdc près de l'accueil est trop bruyante ( passage fréquent) mais le problème a été vite réglé grâce à Shaimae, donc finalement rien à signaler d'autre

The breakfast was lovely, fantastic view from the bar and it was very clean and safe. Walking distance from the big shopping Center Carefour.. highly recommended, we had a lovely room 110, which we loved as it with a courtyard and we could relaxed after the busy day sightseeing.

Cons: le petit déjeuner manque de goût et de variété. L'accès à l'hôtel n'est pas agréable, il faut passer dans des rues avec beaucoup d'immeubles et très mal goudronnées, voire une piste. L'hôtel n'est pas très grand.

Cons: The area outside the hotel complex is fairly dirty but that’s to be expected as it is a third world country. On the whole the food offering was good - but we were disappointed with the choice on offer at the Breakfast buffet. We would have expected far more choice from a 5 star international hotel.

One negative: not a good experience at the spa- the steam room didn’t work properly, which is the whole point of hammam- you need to spend time in the hot steam room before the scrub for the best results. And when I tried to tell that to the attendant- she wouldn’t even listen and denied that anything was wrong with the steam! That was really upsetting!!!

We wanted a modern hotel, so we decided to pick this option and it’s good.

Cons: 1. No welcome drink for us (other guests were offered this) 2. Taking deposit without explaining why its needed 3. No walk through of the hotel to show the rooms and amenities like gym and spa 4. Nobody brought us to the room (all other hotels during our stay in Morocco were much better with this) 5. Lack of communication or staff just doesn’t care - we were asking help with a specific request multiple times and you need to drag information from staff, nobody tries to resolve things, but it’s a 5 star hotel? 6. The breakfast is very small 7. Bathroom smells with canalization

As everyone recommended, the rooftop of Hotel Sahrai offers an amazing view of the old town. It was nice to chill at the rooftop bar, and we also enjoyed the jacuzzi which you can book for an hour during your stay. They also have a shuttle bus service to their sister riad, Riad Fes, where you can experience the Moroccan traditional riad atmosphere. I highly recommend experiencing both places: Hotel Sahrai for the view and Riad Fes for the beautiful traditional building.

L’établissement est très beau avec une architecture soignée et à proximité du centre de Fès. Une belle parenthèse avec du choix au niveau de la restauration. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est délicieux, frais, bien garni et avec du choix respectant les préférences alimentaires. De nombreux spots agréables pour manger : près de la piscine extérieure ou depuis le rooftop avec une belle vue. La piscine intérieure chauffée au niveau du Spa est un vrai plus quand les températures baissent. Le personnel est très accueillant et réactif. Merci pour ce beau moment et cette belle découverte en famille, hâte d’y revenir !

Das Empfangspersonal, insbesondere ein junger Mann (dessen Name ich leider vergessen habe), sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit war. Leider gab es eine Dame am Empfang, die den positiven Eindruck deutlich getrübt hat. (Möchte gern Chefin).

Cons: Enttäuschende Erfahrung trotz nettem Empfangspersonal Leider kann ich dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen. Obwohl das Empfangspersonal grösstenteils freundlich war, gab es eine Ausnahme, die den Aufenthalt direkt zu Beginn unangenehm machte. Besonders ärgerlich war die Kautionsregelung: Man muss pro Nacht und pro Person 1000 Dirham hinterlegen (Bar oder eine Kreditkarte,) was vorher beim buchen nicht klar kommuniziert wurde. Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr merkwürdigen Gegend, die nicht gerade einladend ist. Die Einfahrt zum Hotel ist gefährlich, und der Zugang zum Restaurant und zur Bar steht jedem offen – auch Nicht-Hotelgästen. Leider war der Barkeeper alles andere als freundlich; er war arrogant und unprofessionell. Das Frühstück war okay, aber es fehlten typische marokkanische Spezialitäten, die ich in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwarten würde. Der Orangensaft war mit Wasser verdünnt, was ebenfalls enttäuschend war. Im Zimmer gab es technische Probleme: Der Ablauf in der Badewanne war verstopft, und die Kaffeemaschine funktionierte nicht. Insgesamt entspricht das Hotel in keinem Fall den Erwartungen, die man an ein 5-Sterne-Haus hat. Es gibt viele Bereiche, die dringend verbessert werden müssen. Diese Bewertung beschreibt klar die negativen Punkte, ohne dabei beleidigend zu werden.

Comfortable bed, hotel terrace

Cons: 1/ Sloppy staff. They forgot to return to us our passports at check-in. So someone from reception came aggressively knocking at our door at 11.45pm, when we were asleep already. What kind of a joke is that?! Could they not just wait for the morning? 2/ Faulty electric equipment: we were almost electrocuted by the bedside lamp. We tried switching it on and the switch literally exploded. The lady at reception apologized profusely but the damage was done already. 3/ Food: really disappointing. Breakfast was average at best with little choice and pastries were not fresh. Ordered harira soup in the afternoon and it’s hands down the worst harira soup I had in my life as a Moroccan. Extremely overpriced food menu 4/ Location: beware of following waze or google maps to get there. The hotel is adjacent to a very underprivileged neighborhood. We did not feel safe driving through jt at night let alone walking around the hotel.

Cons: - The rooms have a very bad ventilation system. The air conditioning is facing the bed. Without air conditioning, you can barely breathe. With air conditioning, you can't sleep because of the badly installed airflow and noise. - The food is overpriced and not hygienic. We both got a stomach ache after eating all meals in the hotel. I specifically told the waiter that I am pregnant and asked for them to only use ingredients that are pregnancy proof. We heard more guests complain about a stomach ache. After the breakfast buffet, it was clear to us that the kitchen does not work hygienically. The meats were left unrefrigerated on the table from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. - We asked for a taxi. When the taxi arrived the reception called us. When we went downstairs, they sent the taxi to get medicine for another guest with a stomach ache. So we needed to wait another 15 minutes. - At checkout nobody asked how our stay was.

La chambre est décoré avec goût, le petit déjeuner est complet et de qualité. La piscine n'est pas très grande mais elle suffit pour l'usage que l'on en faisait (elle n'est pas surpeuplée et on trouve toujours un transat disponible et assez de parasols. Tout le personnel est aimable est avenant (sauf deux personnes), les voituriers super agréables, les personnes à l'accueil sont professionnels, les femmes de chambre très disponibles et au petits soins, le room servie est réactif. Bref, on sent que les employés ont été choisis et formés avec le plus grand soin.

Cons: Certains personnels ont une attitude hostile. Sur l'ensemble du personnel, seules deux personnes ne correspondaient pas au standing de l'hotel et aux attentes des clients. J'espère qu'ils seront rapidement formés. Sinon rien à redire, je suis cliente depuis maintenant 3 ans, et c'est l'hotel que je préfère lorsqu'il s'agit de se loger à Fès.

Servizio impeccabile . ottimo garage privato velocemente raggiungibile . Camere ampie belle e pulite. Area piscina molto piacevole e ben assistita. Ottima colazione. Abbiamo consumato anche due buone cene a bordo piscina.

Cons: abbiamo dovuto cambiare una stanza per una forte puzza di fogna. Credo che il problema sia solo nelle prime stanze al piano terra. Il pagamento è stato effettuato tramite booking.com alcune settimane prima dell'arrivo come programmato . purtroppo , benché la prenotazione fosse in euro è stato addebitato un importo maggiore , giustificato da parte dell'hotel con il cambio valuta. a seguito della mia richiesta , mi è stata rimborsata la differenza .

Pour avoir fait plusieurs séjours dans cet hôtel , j’ai trouvé que le personnel à la réception est devenu plus correct et accueillant, le personnel du Resteau toujours un 00 faute surtout Ahmed.

Cons: L’équipe de ménage ne nettoyait pas du tout les chambres , limite après qu’elle soit passer tu retrouve de la poussière , les vitre les miroirs , la douche rien est lavé . C’était très pénible nous l’avons signalé 2 fois à la réception. Pas de conduit d’aération dans l’ascenseur donc on étouffe à l’intérieur avec une mauvaise odeur parfois . La dame qui est à 12h au Resteau par contre et qui s’occupe de l’accueil et du service a un visage très fermé. La réception ne décroche presque jamais le téléphone ni le Spa et le service bagagistes n’est jamais venu récupéré nos valises après l’avoir demandé 2 fois.

Nous avons adoré les petites attentions, le service de voiturier, la propreté de l’établissement ainsi que la piscine et le restaurant avec une belle vue sur la ville. Superbe petit déjeuner varié.

Cons: Prix des consommables assez cher, 100 Dirham pour 1 Schweppes et 1 bouteilles d’eau. Le nous avons également mangé au restaurant de l’hôtel, pareil le prix ne valait pas ce que l’on a mangé.

Beautiful property but not well maintained. The carpet was stained badly and the bathtub glass had mold growing along the gaskets. With that being said, services were exceptional, staff were extremely friendly, and the property itself is so stunning. I would still return despite the questionable hygiene in hopes that management takes my review into consideration and makes the necessary improvements.

Le baignoire est sal. on a fait un petit test et on s'est aperçu qu''il n'est pas assaini lors du de notre deuxième jour de séjour La plupart des membres du personnel manque de professionnalisme. L'accès à l'hôtel est catastrophique. Il faut investir dans le réaménagement et la propreté de la voirie menant vers l'hôtel. On trouve des déchets de gravats à coté de l'entrée de l'hôtel qui est situé dans un quartier résidentiel. Il y a plein de chose à développer dans cet établissement et commençant par le personnel et le prix très exagéré

Fantastic breakfast, with a selection of fruit, cereal, jams, pastries, cakes and cooked breakfast. Everything was fresh and delicious! The pool is magical! We practically spent the whole day at the pool and the water was silky and very refreshing for a hot day! Staff is excellent and the room spacious and very comfortable!

I recently stayed at Hotel Sahrai and had a nice experience. The reception staff, especially Siham and Wanda, were very nice and helpful. I appreciated the room upgrade, thank you for that. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of fresh, local options. The hotel's restaurant also offered excellent food, but a little pricey. My room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a stunning view.

Cons: Unfortunately it was a bit noisy in the evening due to the hotel bars. And the hotel charges much more for the shuttle than the airport cabs, just ask at the airport. It cost about 150 dirhams.

Cons: The receptionist wasn't professional and was very impolite , I arrived with my wife and we was very tired but she didn't even bother herself to invite us to have a sit , rather she asked us rudely about a marriage certificate, even though I and my wife share the same last name in passports , when an European lady have a Moroccan last name of the person who is with her , she is literally his wife ! Oh and worst the receptionist added if you have a red passport I wouldn't ask you at all about a marriage certificate , so a Moroccan couple are very welcome for adultery as long as they show a red passport ? Ridiculous and has nothing to do with the Moroccan law ! This is my third forth stay in this hotel and will be the last one !

Excellent facilities, room design and cleanliness of rooms. Staff is friendly. We were treated with tasty sweets each day which was pleasant. King size mattress is set on top of 2 double bed frames so the middle part of the bed is not very comfortable to sleep on, but very comfortable on either left or right side. Surrounding area outside of hotel premises has ongoing construction being done. The hotel bar has a DJ and sometimes live music going until around midnight each day and the bass carries into our hotel room which may be a problem if you’re a light sleeper but we were able to sleep thru it by spending our energy exploring the Medina and surrounding city.

One thing to note, is that the hotel is located at n the middle of the appattkwnt constriction zone and surrounded by garbage and unkept roads. This property was top notch! I wish everyplace met the standards as this hotel offers. There are three restaurants inside the hotel. One French, one Moroccan and the last Lebanese on the rooftop where there also exist a stunning bar. Plus they had a DJ. The latter was more tapas plates. The food was so good. Our drinks were tasty. We had our laundry serviced while here. It was a bit pricy so discuss cost first if you don’t want any surprises. Our room was large, clean, bed amazing, the bathroom exceptional, it included amenities. We had turn down service in the evening, they left little treats, that always adds to the experience. Check in was smooth as was check out. Parking is covered underground, no issues. There is security upon entry and exit. Local children play futbol on the street leading to the hotel which is nice to see local life. The spa didn’t have two one hour services available last minute. So we missed out there, hopefully next visit we can partake in the spa. They have a hot tub included in the booking for one hour which we didn’t find time to squeeze into our schedule. I am so happy we chose this property for our stay in Fes. Truly it was everything we needed for the perfect end to our time in Morocco.

Cons: Je n’ai pas apprécié Le restaurant libanais à l’étage. Des prix trop cher personnel désagréable On ne peux même consommer des boissons sans commander à manger. On nous sert à manger pas de service de table, après avoir demandé une fourchette le serveur nous apporte UNE fourchette alors que nous étions deux, nous regarde avec mépris…. Autrement tout le reste est top

It’s probably one of the nicer hotels in Fes. The room was spacious. There were several options for restaurants.

Me gustaron las instalaciones, la decoración y el desayuno. El chico de recepción que hablaba español, que nos atendió muy bien, y los trabajadores de los restaurantes también.

Cons: Nos cambiaron de habitación, porque a las 7 de la mañana nos despertamos porque entraba mucha luz, y si vas a un hotel 5 estrellas (que ademas lo pagas) por lo menos descansar. Y nos cambiaron a otra más pequeña. La ubicacion FATAL, a pie imposible y para acceder esta todo en ruinas

Hotel situado en la zona moderna con una vistas mánificas de la parte antigua. Buen servicio, limpieza, las instalaciones del hotel están casi nuevas. Camas muy confortables. Los dos restaurante muy buenos, el de la terraza superior dispone además de excelentes vistas.

The hotel is beautiful despite the dodgy road in. The pool is great, the outdoor dining and rooftop bar is fabulous and gives great views over Fes. But it was 45 degrees when we were there so too hot to enjoy. Room was pretty good, we had the bathroom located in a glass walled room which was pretty cool. Buffet brekky not bad, we ate dinner at the Relais de Paris in the hotel which was ok.

Cons: The customer service across the board is terrible. Found them incompetent, not well trained and most couldnt speak any English, only Arabic and a bit of French. These days all 5 star hotels need English speaking staff as well. We asked them to book a guide with car to take us to the Medina/tanneries for a few hours. Guide turned up, no car so hotel shuttle dropped us (for a fee) at the Old Medina then we taxi-ed around from there. Tour amazing (300 MAD). On return hotel asked us to pay the guide direct and we didn't have enough cash on us and hotel wouldn't put it on our tab. That was the plan in the first place. Hotel organises/books tour for us and puts it on the hotel bill. Very embarrassing and awkward, gave guide about 220MAD and he said dont worry about the rest. Staff just said I could walk down the street to the nearest ATM!!

Cons: Dat er niet van te voren wordt vermeld dat je btw moet betalen p.p voor elke nacht dat je verblijft en dat je dat aan het eind moet afrekenen, en de manager mag wat vrolijker kijken ipv zeuren om dat er een handdoek bij het zwembad ligt. En foto’s maken ervan. Plus er is extra €40.- afgeschreven in het begin, maar voor wat is niet duidelijk.

The hotel was clean and the food was very tasty (breakfast was average).

Cons: The location and getting to the hotel was terrible. A fire broke out at midnight and we had to evacuate the hotel. We didn’t know what was going on as none of the staff present could speak English to us.
