We booked Le Vizir Parc and Resort from 26th Dec - 30th Dec. There were a lot of issues we encountered during our stay at this place and our experience as not a good one 1) The room didnt have a working Airconditioner for first 2 nights and it was very cold for the kids. We were provided additional blankets but that was not good enough 2) There was a continuous noise made by the air conditioning vent which didnt let us sleep. It was later realized that this was related to the same issue as above 3) The cleanliness in the hotel was not good and it was way below a 4 star standard We had to give warning to the hotel management to fix the issues, Considering everything I wont remember this as a good 4 star experience

It was pathetic stay. We reached Le Vizir around 8 pm on 26th Dec. We have been told by reception staff that we have been upgraded to higher room. When we went into the room to our surprise the lights were tripping off as soon as we start the heating. Electrician was sent to our room, he worked till 1 am to make the heating work. Lost first night sleep. 2nd night they told us by the time we come back to the hotel, the light issue will be sorted, it was worst, same problem. A guy (who had no clue of electricity) was sent to our room, he worked till 2 am still couldn't make it work. We had to sleep in cold. next day they offered to shift in another room, but as we were going out they said either we shift now or they can't hold the room, but in the evening the heating was working. I will request you to give me refunds, it was terrible experience, I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The whole experience with family and kids is excellent the staff at reception are the ones that makes the difference. Booking your tours the like of abdel khaiq the driver and tour guide the staff at the canteen when it comes to your needs are brilliant I did not have a single complaint from my family definitely coming back to a all halal no alcohol resort.

Excellent facilities throughout resort, enjoyed ourselves hugely, only issue was a bit too far to the centre, the resort did provide a free shuttle which we took advantage of, a few things in the room didn’t work but not really a deal breaker. Will definitely be back 😁😁

Isch.

This hotel does a good job with the hotel room and grounds for children. This hotel does not however serve alcohol at all, which is disappointing if you want to unwind with a glass of wine or have a drink with dinner. Some staff are friendly, others are not. This hotel appears to cater more towards the Islamic crowd as opposed to those who are not.

The first day I arrived i had to ask so many times for a baby cot as i had to keep ringing and asking for it even though i asked for it when booking the room i also received an email of conformation. The Toilet smelled really bad to the point where I had to keep asking them to check it continuously, even though the smell will go away for a few hours later it would come back, one of the hobs were also not working as well as the oven and grill i complained numerous of times but the situation was still not handled. There was no internet what so ever in the room we had to go all the way to Reception in order to get internet which was far I complained so many times to the manager but they were unable to resolve the problem this was terrible.

Far away from city. Restricted free shuttle times. Taxi costs about £8:00 each way. Last shuttle was at 7:30 pm to come back to hotel so very restricted for food choice as no other restaurants close by. Not well maintained as only one cooker working, heating switched itself off, shower could not stay in handle, no phone directory and had to walk back to reception each time something was not working. Oven did not work. Pools are not heated so could not use them as water was too cold even though daytime temperature was 10deggrees C! No slides in water park as depicted in their photos! Looks beautiful but not very good standard. No activities in the evening. Staff not aware of their own facilities or activities.

We are a family of 4, with two boys age 11 and 14. We booked early over Expedia for a non thrills holiday so expectations weren't high, but we were pleasantly surprised. We hired a car as we didn't want the hassle of taxi's and shuttles and the hotel has secure parking and is easy to get to as long as you have sat nav. Thank goodness for Apple Maps. We opted for a Solarium suite, with a roof terrace. Perfect size for a family our family. WiFi wasn't the best but good enough. The room was cleaned daily, we had to ask for towels day 1, but generally speaking anything you required was provided. We had dinner at the hotel once, but that was only because we went out most evenings, otherwise the meal was nice, we would probably have got bored of half board after a few days. We drove to Marajane (big super market) where we stocked up for lunches and going out. Prices are fantastic and equivalent to a UK Tesco or Asda, plus they have a McD's and several other fast food restaurants. The hotel room has a lovely kitchen, FF etc and cutlery so lunches were sorted for most days. Back to the hotel, they have three pools, one was only for women, a large pool perfect for kids. Lots of kids activities, our boys didn't want to leave the resort. The staff kept the children busy with games at certain parts of the day and with the climbing wall and high ropes, there is plenty to keep children entertained. Breakfast was good. Only 20 mins to get to the Medina from the hotel

Great holiday with the family, kids really enjoyed themselves. The entertaintment staff were excellent really involved the kids in the activities by the pool and in the evening the mini disco was a must with the kids. We had to be back by 8.30p.m to get the kids to the disco! Also had a private ladies only pool. Room wasnt the cleanest but on day 3 there was a difference, had to keep asking for extra towels only gave us two and their were 6 of us. Showers were freezing after 4p.m. overall would recommend based on the staff and theirvinteraction with you facilities were good. Shuttle bus has 8 places and we never seemed to be able to book when we wanted they need more buses!!

So we have just returned from our third stay at Le Vizir and I do hope we will be able to return for a fourth. This place is definitely our family favourite. The boys loved the rock climbing, archery and rope park. My teenage daughter enjoyed the zip wire. My toddler enjoyed painting in the kids club. I enjoyed the private pool for women which now has better privacy, more sun beds and pool towels within the area itself as well as a female member of the animation team on hand. There are tennis courts. There is a hammam. Basically lots and lots to entertain the family. And the grounds are great if you have young ones. Easy to get around with a buggy and lots of place for my boys to let loose. The pools were not heated but there are plans to build a heated pool next year, so worth checking with the hotel if that has been done. If you are British like me, pack a travel kettle and stuff some PG tips in it as well as a couple of mugs, in case you really need a good cuppa. Or get one from the Carrefour for around twelve pounds. I have found few places around Morocco have kettles in the rooms and Le Vizir is no different. I also pack a travel DVD player with some charity shop DVDs, connect it up to the TV and get over the fact they simply do not have CBeebies in Morocco. The rooms are great for families who want more space than interconnecting rooms usually offer & an area they can dine together. The garden suites have two toilets so are more suitable for larger families.

We enjoyed the resort because there is a lot to do and the included breakfast is great. However, We arrived with a big group. They didn't have the correct amount of rooms so they decided to upgrade us. Later with check out they tried to charge us for the forced up grade. Also I had to pay another 100 CAD for an extra person. When I paid in check-in I said I want to pay for all charges and I did. Upon check out they said I didn't pay. I lost the receipt had to pay. Point is clarify everything upon check in. DON'T TAKE PAY IN ADVANCE OPTION. The little bit of money you save is not worth it, they try to rip you off later.

Wonderful private pool and the hotel is very Islamic and catered for had a great holiday

I believe the hotel should have two shuttle bus considering the volume of people which stays at the hotel. One shuttle bus which takes only eight people on a first cone basis, which you have to book in advanced I found frustrating especially when you have children and need to go into town. Taxis from the hotel are very expensive so next time I would rent a car.

The first impressions were great. The solarium suite was a good size and we found the beds very comfortable. The kitchenette was limited, with only one cooking ring working and very basically equipped. The "sharp" knife could hardly cut soft butter and there was no chopping board. The main pool area was lovely, with lots of sun beds but it took us 5 days to locate the pool towels. The animators were intermittent, although my kids loved the karaoke by the pool in the afternoons. The other activities were sporadic or closed, which was disappointing. The restaurant was very expensive and the menu limited. However we discovered the locals had a Ramadan Breakfast special after sunset, which we enjoyed the most. We were also not offered any alcoholic beverages, as it was Ramadan, but this was not made clear to us before we arrived. There was a free shuttle bus into town but you need to book early, although it was possible to get a taxi into town if you wanted too - but check the prices first. The bus stopped outside the Carrefour supermarket but there was a much bigger, cheaper supermarket called Marjane closer to the hotel. So just ask!! There was no bar, no evening entertainment, limited day activities, one pool was closed for refurbishment, no shop for essentials, some unhelpful staff. We had a great holiday but mainly due to the delightful other guests. The hotel workers spoke sporadic English so a lot was lost in translation and led to confusion.

Room is very good and provide a free shuttle into the city which saves a lot of money. Breakfast is also very good. Resort was amazing and caters to everyone whether you want a relaxing holiday or activity based. Free archery, rock climbing, tennis, basketball, ping pong and more available on site. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Definitely a great place and I would go again.

Great hotel with excellent customer service. From reception staff to the restaurant to the cleaners, everyone is really polite and engaging. The activities for the kids is brilliant with rock climbing, archery and a go ape style zip course. The pool is perfect for the kids although it is quite cold. So long as the weather is good the coolness is quite refreshing. The breakfast was really nice and they have a good selection. The spa facilities are average, but clean with friendly staff. Mohammed and Nabil were outstanding. They really made the holiday very special for the kids with huge amounts of energy and positivity. I was really impressed with their constant encouragement and genuine desire to make the kids feel like they were on holiday. The shuttle service from the hotel was very efficient and a great value-add. The room was clean and spacious. We booked the solarium which had two balconies and even a roof terrace. Again this amount of space was perfect for our kids. Beds were very comfortable and the room AC worked perfectly. Venturing into the city was a fantastic experience with jama al-fna being the highlight. The hustle and bustle of the souks along with snake charmers, horse and cart, all types of people selling various goods was a really interesting experience. In the main we thorough enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel for families. Great experience and hope to return next year.

I stayed for 6 days at Le Vizir in Jan 17. The hotel is surrounded by greenery. The staff are helpful. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Shuttle bus was unfortunately not available in the evenings which meant we stayed indoors rather than fork out approx 300 dirhams return journey to the souk and back as hotel is on the outskirts of Marrakech. It could be because it was off peak season but the Resort was very quiet. There were more staff than visitors. No English Channels on TV so very much dependent on WIFI to alliviate boredom in the evenings. Resort does have many activities on offer however. A good selection and nice variety at breakfast although I've seen larger varieties on other holidays. Staff were helpful. They let me use their office computer and printer to print out my boarding passes and even left the office and stood outside whilst I did this. So nice. Any complaint and they were small complaints were seen to immediately. On one occasion the shuttle driver dropped us outside Marjorelle Gardens rather than the normal carrefour stop. Nice as it saved us taxi fares. He did the same on other occasions too. I would stay at this hotel so long as the free shuttle service is operating in the evenings too as well as the daytime.

Great hotel with the friendliest of staff. Even though most understood only minimal English (but fluent french) it was not an issue as they perservered with a smile until the request or question was understood and answered. All staff were especially great with our one year old ( birthday whilst there) and went out of the way to help him and make him happy. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, pools clean and relaxing, did not eat dinner here as ventured out to eat (great free shuttle service in to center of marrakech, taking between 15 and 25 mins) but the snack food we had sometime at lunch (pizza, chips, drinks etc) were always good. A special shout out to Abdul (taxi driver / provides the hotel arranged excursions, not an actual hotel enployee) who was a great guide and help through our stay. . . And provided us with a wonderful day out in the mountains and even travelled to the pharmacy and LG got our eldest (14) some medicine when he took poorly (nothing to do with the hotel). . . and refused any form of payment. I wish him and his family all the best. Thanks all the vizir staff, you made our holiday amazing.

This would be my second time going to this hotel, and will hope to return again. The facilities are great and lots to do for the value. The rooms are nice and come with enough items to cook if one chooses. Their is a supermarket up the road about 5 min drive away. Don't get the half boar package, truly a wast of money. The breakfast is a great deal. LOVE THE WOMAN'S ONLY POOL. Staff is decent.

Staff were helpful and accommodating. Excellent availability of the shuttle service which is needed because the hotel is about 20 min from the Jemaa el fna square.

Beautiful Hotel which my only complaint would be the cleanliness of rooms. Spider webs and insects were not uncommon. We even had to change rooms because it was so bad in our garden suite. Once we moved upstairs it wasn't perfect but was much better. The hotel staff are very friendly, I just wish they spoke abit more English, as communication was a struggle. The WiFi is brilliant as there is WiFi everywhere! The hotel doesn't have much to offer in terms of excursions and because of this we spent most of our time at the hotel. I wish we got to see more of marrakesh and what it had to offer.

We absolutely loved this hotel and the facility's that was there. The staff was friendly and helpful and rooms very clean. The breakfast was very nice with a big variety and the kids loved the fresh bread and pancakes. Would defiantly come back to this hotel. We got nothing bad to say about this place! The kids loved it as much as we did and we miss being there already.

We had great time, the children enjoyed it, they have very very friendly . There was a dropping and picking up to the city service which was free of charge , they where very friendly so, you just have to book it in advance. Housekeeping everyday there was also wifi in the room. So overall we really enjoyed it.

WOW! I had the most amazing time at this resort. Every member of staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Good morning and goodnights from everyone. The shuttle service was efficiently run into town however they would benefit from having one more. Food was always great quality but I would say they could do with having a wider range of Moroccan food at least for dinner for tourists to taste local food. It was relaxing and had a great feel. Perfect for the kids as staff were all willing to entertain and join in. If we needed anything we picked up the phone and it was there in the blink of an eye. It was a little away from the souks but I liked this to be able to return to the peace after a busy day. Loved the Spa on site and the therapist was great! I would 100% go back the exact same resort!

Just returned and want to return already. Kids club 4 to 8 years is free, baby club 0 to 4 years is 100 A for half day. So we were kids free every morning, they had fun and we enjoyed what sun we could on the amazing solarium. If the weather was better, the trip would be perfect, but with NO heated pools this was a bit of a let down. Spa massage was great. Food was lovely, but repetitive if there for more than a few days. Ask them for a tagine poulet avec citron et olives, not on the menu but seriously delicious. English is limited, but that's to be expected. Private pool for women, with loungers and a paddling pool for young ones. As well as the main pools. Important for parents with young kids: there is no kettle in the rooms, no microwave either. Coffee machine only. You can ask for a kettle at reception. And I sterilised using a big pot and boiled the water. The bus into town drops off very near a supermarket, where you can pick up all the usual essentials and so save yourself a few pounds or dirhams to put towards a massage.

The stay was fine for what it was. The staff speak virtually no English so communication was an issue. Incorrect meals, etc.. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Cleaning was offered everyday. The location is rubbish. There are no shops around and there is no shop on the premises. Overall, it was an ok stay. Will probably look elsewhere if we go again.

Hotel has beautiful grounds,3 pools. One of the pools is exclusively for women. Breakfast is lovely with a lot to choose from. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds and bedding. Staff are friendly especially Amina at front desk.

We traveled to Le Vizir for a weeks break in the sunshine. It was our first trip to the resort and Marrakesh, would definitely recommend both to anyone looking to travel somewhere that only has 3 hours direct flight.

-ve's: day 1. We had an ant infestation in our apartment. It took over an hour for someone to come & sort this out.. We had checked in as 4 but only 3 towels in the room so had to request another. Only 2 dining chairs so had to request 2 more. Although a dirty sponge was provided we had to request washing up liquid. Day 2. power cut in our apartment. Lack of communication between the staff & handyman meant we had to wait over an hour for someone to come. Breakfast was included however there was only 1 person on egg/omelette/morrocan pancake duty. We had to wait half an hour in the queue every morning! Never enough plates/cups/cutlery - generally understaffed in this area. Room cleaning service - no fixed time either morning or late afternoon. They take the towels without replacing until a few hours later. Very strange so no option to wash until they return. Another ant infestation on day 3 luckly they left the ant spray from day 1. The cleaner said she'd come later so I ended up taking the broom & cleaning up myself! I think the problem is if you don't speak French or arabic you can't communicate with majority of staff. The staff in the kids area spoke very good English so it may be an idea for then to work on reception too. On our last night one of the hotel employees opened our locked door at midnight & tried to enter, luckly my husband was up & questioned why he opened our door? He was unable to speak English and apologised and walked off. If it wasnt for the fact that one of my children spent all 4 days in bed with fever and diarrhoea and I was fed up with trying to communicate with them I would have demanded some sort of discount on the cost of the room. +ve's They allowed us a late check out. Good facilities to keep the kids entertained. All in all, has the potential to be good, but only if they invest in staff and training them.

The hotel was set up as a self-catering facility rather than a hotel. The restaurant had a very limited menu and was not open everyday. There was no wifi (complementary or otherwise) and it was a long way from town. We ended up spending 40pounds on a return trip into town - which added up over a number of days. There is nothing in walking distance of the hotel. Not even a small shop.

The hotel has nice activities for kids and kids never get bored. You will need taxis to move around which the hotel staff arranged easily. Only one restaurant in the hotel and no WIFI in the rooms. Had to go to reception building for internet connections.
