I love staying at this location. It's one of my go to spots in Marrakech. It's the perfect location -- close to the street, with some parking out front, if needed, and also close to the jemaa el fna. I've been coming to this hotel for years and the staff is incredible kind and helpful-- always making me feel right at home, from Badia in the kitchen, to Azzedine and Adil at the front desk.

Lovely staff Nice room Tasty breakfast Location was close to the markets, yet quiet at night time They gave us some lovely tea and biscuits when we arrived and printed our boarding passes for us Hot tub on the roof terrace was a nice touch
Cons: Bathroom had a lock on the outside of the door which seemed a little strange Hot tub water a little cold in the mornings (which is fine, as the cool water will be needed in the evenings)

Rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff is super friendly and breakfast is amazing!
Cons: I loved the small swimming pool on the rooftop but I feel like the terrace could use a little fresh-up. It’s also a pitty that you cannot order a lot of “snacks” or small lunches as most of the things should be ordered upfront.

The location was excellent, and it is a great base for exploring Marrakech. It is helpful that taxis can enter the street of the property whilst also being so close to centre.

The mornings in Marrakesh are very cold, particularly in January. We found it too cold to eat outside our room and very kindly they brought breakfast to us in our room which was so toasty from the heaters (which we couldn't find at first) located under the bathroom sink. The jaccuzi on the rooftop wasn't warm, but we asked the staff and it needed a 2hour pre-heat. Whenever we were out and wanted to come home, we would message using the booking.com app and requested it was turned on and we returned home each time to a heated hot tub! Thank you! X

Lovely and friendly hosts. The room was beautiful and clean. It was just like the photos. Breakfast was sweet with different breads/cakes, yoghurt and tea. The breakfast room was so comfy. The There was a little communal space between my room and my friends room which was great and pleasant.

Check in easy, staff very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent - very short walk to main square. Very safe area and off the main path enough that there were no noise concerns at all. Room was a good size, very clean. Facilities awesome. The rooftop lounge was a huge asset and was very big - we often had it to ourselves but even if multiple groups up there you'd have your own space (plus most of the time spent exploring anyways). Breakfast was what you seem to usually get here in Marrakesh... Mediocre coffee, excellent mint tea, many pastries and sometimes something else. Enough to fill you up certainly. Overall I highly recommend and for the right price (we got it slightly discounted) I would stay again.

The room have traditional riad vibe with Modern touch. Rooms are big and very clean. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Close to Jemma el fna (walking distance - 7mins) also easy to get taxis if needed to get to new city or other places. Well located I would definitely come back and stay here! So close to grocery stores, restaurants and pharmacies! All within walking distance.
Cons: Most taxis don’t go to the riad although there is a car park space and road that leads to riad…so can be annoying if you do have suitcases and heavy luggages. However, if you do tip them a little they will drop you right in front of the riad.

The riad has a beautiful and clean decoration. Typical from Morocco, with very good taste. We stayed 4 days, with our 7 month old baby and the staff was always very kind and attentive to our needs. This hotel is so close to all the main sights, but in a little haven of its own. It was easy to go out, see sights come back for a short break and go back out. We have never done that before. Parking is right in front, which is amazing considering the location. Very convenient and a guard watches the car. Very safe. The hotel is made of quality materials. Marble everywhere. The outside terrace is beautiful for meals. Very small hotel, so we felt valued. No waiting in line. Service was excellent. Air condition woks well.
Cons: At every hotel in Morroco we have struggled with the half glass door concept and have gotten the bathroom wet. The beds were soft and not the best. We had our adult daughter with us and her mattress was narrow and thin. However the sheets on the beds are divine. The softest, highest quality sheets I have ever had at a hotel.

The room was gorgeous, the bathroom was great, the shower had great pressure and the included shampoo and shower gel were great as well. The high ceilings in the room were so lovely, and the bed was super comfy!

I just stayed here for a week with my partner. The staff are excellent in helping whenever needed and speak good English. The room we stayed in on the bottom floor was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. This is the perfect place if you want to be able to relax by the pool in peace and quiet, but also be in the centre of the town, close to major attractions. There are a couple of small shops nearby too which means you can pick up any essentials, but the riad will have anything you need if you ask. I would definitely come back here.
Cons: The breakfast served is the same thing each morning. Saying this, it was delicious, and given this, we never asked for anything else. Moreover, it is quite hard to locate this riad, so make sure you have either mobile data or a physical map, as the taxis/bus won't always be able to take you directly outside.

Orange juice in the breakfast was the only good part
Cons: Plain and simple - what you see here is not what you get. The property feels like it has been recently converted from someone's home which still needs a lot of work and who does not have much idea of how to run it. When we stayed, there was construction going on in 2 of the 3 rooms on our floor. The pictures on the website are exaggerated - what they call pool is something that only a person can fit in. The location is unsafe - in one corner of a small old city street, where there are a couple of shady looking people are always sitting manning some parking spots. The room had many dysfunctional things, from broken door hinges and doors that wouldn't lock, to broken flush, to water leaking out of shower as they did not have a shower curtain and the glass is super small. There is a coffee maker but no coffee or water in the room. The bread in the breakfast was cold and dry. We had to get breakfast out every morning as we couldn't eat it. The front desk staff's unfriendly attitude did not help either. We stayed 16 nights in hotels in our trip to Morocco and Europe, and this was clearly the worst hotel experience. I saw the positive reviews and booked the property but doubt the authenticity of these reviews now. Some of those look like they are from travel agents.

We stayed at Kahena for a week for our first time travelling to Marrakech and were outstanded from check in to departure. Staff welcomed us with a smile, Moroccan tea and pastries and showed us to our beautiful room well before our check in time, which we appreciated after an early morning flight. Our room was impeccable and remained this way being cleaned each day by the amazing team. Each morning, we were greeted with breakfast; teas, coffees, fresh juices and local delicacies which we enjoyed in the open area lobby and bar area downstairs. We spent hours on the terrace taking in the sun and enjoying the tranquility of the Riad, a home away from home which we can only describe as an oasis to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We could not fault Kahena or the amazing staff which attended to us throughout our stay and hope to visit again.

We loved staying here, it exceeded our expectations. The room was beautiful and so clean. The breakfast was tasty and filling every morning. It was in such a convenient location, just outside the hustle and bustle of the medina but still so close that you could easily nip there and back. The staff were absolutely incredible, so friendly and so helpful, they arranged two flawless excursions for us, that were so well priced and ran so smoothly. There was always someone in reception so that you could get recommendations or help with anything you needed. We absolutely loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone whose looking for a stay in Marrakech!

Good facility - when you get used to Moroccan buildings not facing the street (preferring a central courtyard for shade so brick-wall to the street), this is a good place including roof top with both exposed and shaded areas. The room was good - spacious with nice beds, good breakfast (slightly varied each day), and service helpful and courteous. The location is between the 2 most significant old Palaces and Jamaal Fna square, which is why I chose it.
Cons: Very little to critique. I suppose the small room-Tax (I think 100 Dh each for 4 days) would be better explained at the start, simply to help us to use all cash at the end (the currency cannot be taken out of Morocco).

you get what you see, images resemble the place well.
Cons: only small flaws, if you look for them (bathroom console got wet when taking a shower, toilet flush loose, paper towels instead of real towel in the wc?, curtains didn’t fully close to keep light out) - these separate the riad from the true luxury hotels also riad wasn’t very busy (winter time), no bar at night - only one night porter

Abdel and his collegue who was at reception were both amazing. They made our experience at Marrakesh that much more positive. He welcomed us both with a wonderful smile and provided with amazing trip advice. The rooms and breakfast were both great. Location was very local to the square and the Souk Markets with lots of resturants and touristic attractions including the palaces.
Cons: Due to our spacious room, it was quite cold but the airconditioning unit and portable heater helped.

The staff was great and very helpful. Location was near major attractions and easy to grab taxis if needes
Cons: The coffee table. In my room. Was covered in dust. It's triggered an allergic reaction but the staff cleaned it immediately upon my complaint.

Very beautiful hotel, interior mix of nice typical Marocco wood art and white walls. Very beautiful and well designed Outside rooftop terrace. The jacuzzi was having a heating system so even in December it is possible to use it. We spend the time after the breakfast on the terrace and we’re the only ones there, we were able to enjoy the sun and beautiful mild December weather. The hotel was booked out but we hardly saw other guests so we fell ourselves very comfortable and almost like if we were alone in the whole place. The service was very kind, supportive and we felt ourselves very welcomed. We had a family room and it was very specious, with two toilets which is very practical. Room was beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was very tasty, only the eggs were not included in the breakfast. We ordered them always separately and had to pay for it. Barbarian omelet was very tasty. We really enjoyed the very tasty coffee in the hotel. There was space for the car parking. The hotel is very close to the city center and just some 5 min walking distance from Jamaa el Fan which is the Most important square in Marrakech and full with life, souks, restaurants, bars etc. We were able to walk anywhere on foot which was perfect as the traffic might be a bit crazy in Marrakech and not very tourist would want to drive there. Thank you for unforgettable visit in your hotel. Defiantly a place to come back.

Brilliant service, beautiful Riad with modern comforts and spacious rooms. The jacuzzi on the roof deck was a lovely feature to relax in after a long day of touring.

Abdel (If I remember his name correctly, sorry) was fantastic. Our friend had booked a Riad nearby and when she arrived she couldn't stay there because it was overbooked. It was December 29th and the city was packed for the New Year. Thankfully, our room at Kahena was big enough to put an extra bed and she could stay with us. He took care of everything and was very friendly. The riad is more modern and less authentic than others we visited in Morocco but is also more comfortable. Breakfast was good. I recommend this hotel if you are visiting Marrakesh. There were two AC machines for the bedroom, which was great.
Cons: I know many hotels today have only partially enclosed showers, but the floor gets all wet.

Really next to all the main sights - rooms were cosy & clean. Not too noisy either. Staff was very helpful and nice. Parking spot right in front of the riad. Breakfast was simple but good.
Cons: We arrived by a rental car and Google Maps was sending is in circles; it took some time to find the correct street

What an amazing place to stay. We stayed in the family suite and it was very spacious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The roof was a great spot to unwind and enjoy some sun. Only a few minutes away from the main square so a perfect location
Cons: The jacuzzi unfortunately didn't heat up beyond a certain temperature. But I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue for most that would be travelling during hotter times of the year. We went during winter

The entire experience at kahena was amazing I have been twice this year.the staff treat you like family and go above and beyond. You just cannot fault this place everything is 10/10.I was unwell and they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable with medicine although we had checked out they still showed so much care.although we had to check out at 12 they allowed us to have room a little longer so I could rest up. The place is super clean the staff all helpful. Our room was amazing very pretty. Breakfast every morning was yummy. House keeping keep everything nice and clean. Kahena itself is a very pretty riad the rooms are stunning the roof top is beautiful with its own jacuzzi. But what makes it is the stuff the 2 day managers and Azzedine the night staff always smiling and on hand for any assistance needed. I cannot see myself staying at any other place when visiting Morroco. I feel very relaxed and comfortable whilst staying at Kahena. I’m already planning my next visit! Thank you to everyone at Kahena who made us feel so welcomed and thank you for taking care of me whilst I was unwell. The things you guys do you don’t get in every hotel. Looking forward to seeing you all again.

The roof terrace is beautiful & calm. The staff went out of their way to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. The bedrooms are very spacious. And they serve beers at the bar!
Cons: Location was good but slightly further from the medina than we’d anticipated. Only really an issue because I hurt my knee on the mountains!

From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and looked after with great care, the staff here are all fantastic, and even put together a cooking course for us when we asked where we could learn how to make a tajine! There was not one request they were willing to help with. The riad itself was very well kept and authentic in look and feel, it also had a really nice rooftop which we spent a lot of time making the most of. Would definitely recommend. The location was perfect, only 5 minutes from the main square and attractions but down a little side road so it was very calm and relaxing there after the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.

We truly enjoyed our stay. This Riad is modern, but keeps the traditional style, the room was excellent, beds was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, the Jacuzzi/rooftop area was super pleasant we loved everything. The Riad is located in a alley dead end so it is super quiet at night, but close to one of the busiest street of the Medina (3-5 min walk), the location is very strategic. we met three receptionists and they were all very nice, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at Kahena Lifestyle again.

Big bedroom Renovated facilities Excellent food - they made a delicious couscous for us for lunch Staff was very friendly and helpful
Cons: Beds were a bit hard not much to do in the place. TV didn’t work in the bedroom curtains didn’t cover the full window so there was light from outside all night.

Excellent location, walking distance to most landmarks. Very clean. Close to the hustle and bustle of the market, but peaceful location.
Cons: Some facilities weren't as expected and could do with improvement. Considering price, surprising no water/fridge in rooms
