There was absolutely nothing I liked about this property, it had no redeeming qualities.
Cons: We arrived and the bed sheets were dirty, some of the beds were not made. There was mould in the bedrooms. The bathrooms were indescribebly unpleasant. There were rats in the property. We left as soon as we found alternative accomondation. I would reccomend avoiding this property at all costs.

Roof Top view! & Breakfast! PUBLIC ADVICE! The pictures on the listings are sometimes very dated. Only book one or two nights see how the place is and you can always extend, obviously it will be difficult to do that in peak season. But worth doing, better than being miserable and in a place you don't want to stay!
Cons: Abdul Rahman should be retired. Showed him the shower head was not fixed to the wall. And he made excuses for two days straight. My mates room had issues with the toilet waterflow and storage rail broken. I honestly would have extended my stay!

Cons: The hotel is tucked away in a narrow alley with limited accessibility. The room’s cleanliness was below standard, and there was a strong moldy odor. The receptionist—an elderly gentleman who spoke only French and Arabic—made communication extremely difficult when I attempted to report the problems. His unhelpful and indifferent attitude meant that none of my concerns were addressed.

The terrace was nice and the breakfast good.
Cons: It came as a complete surprise that the taxi could not get any closer than a five minute walk down a narrow alley. Not much fun arriving with luggage in the heat of the day or at night. The facilities were greatly exaggerated. There is no restaurant. There is no bar and as for the spa I can only guess it was hiding in a cupboard somewhere. The worse aspect was being charged twice for the city tax and because we didn`t have a receipt for the cash payment on arrival we were refused a refund.

The riad is a long way down a narrow street and coming on a motorcycle I was a little wary but it was no problems to get there and Abdul the host cycled me to a place where I could securely keep my motorcycle for 7E about 5 mins walk away. The riad was not the most modern but it felt very authentic. No evening food but the nearby attractions more than made up for that. Of most importance, although 10 mins away from Jemaa El Fna, it was so very quiet and relaxing. A very good nights sleep. great breakfast too!
Cons: A little hard to find, but that was good because of a lack of noise or passing people

Location was good and you can tell the owner cares very much for his Riad.
Cons: There was no drawers or cupboards to put your clothes is just a clothes rail so your living out your suitcase. There bottled water at the Riad, I understand the owner wants to keep his cost low and not give them out for free but at least keep some there to sell... Nothing! What does he expect his guest to drink, tap water. Breakfast was like being in a homeless or prison home, you are only allowed one item and nothing else. My son who is 5 wanted a 2nd egg.... Guess what he is not allowed. I understand the owner had a budget but surely the next day you get more because if you keep the kids happy the parents are generally happy. Never experienced anything like this on holiday and I worked in hospitality. I would not stay at this place even if it was available for free. Just made the experience in Marrakech very bad.

Cons: We didn't like the area where the riad was, as it felt unsafe. We tried to explain this to the receptionist, but he couldn't understand us. We tried to leave him the keys politely as we decided to stay somewhere else. When we left, the receptionist followed us with his bike, that was quite terrifying for us. Less than 10 minutes from Bab Agnaou gate in the medina, comfy enough bed and room.
Cons: The area at night time is a little sketchy, with young men having around, in groups of 5 or more, and a construction site next door was certainly interesting. Unfortunately the area youths, will try to walk you back to the riad even if you know what’re you are going and ask for money… The owner asked for extra money, as some kind of tourist tax despite all being paid advance. And the pool didn’t like look that inviting to be honest. Breakfast was tiny, not filling.

Abdul was very welcoming and helped us book a trip to Ouarzazate, which I highly recommend! He personally took us to the pickcup location in the morning. He also helped us negotiate a reasonable price with a taxi driver when he found us speaking in the street. Really nice, sweet and accommodating host! Lastly, I also recommend the dinner that was offered to us during our first night. We arrived pretty late, around 23h, still the food was great!
Cons: The Riad is the last one in a series of alleys inside the Medina. It's safe and highly policed, since it's near the palace, but can be a bit intimidating on the first night.

Cons: The place meeds a little TLC and some maintanance. Mold in the shower made a bad odor in the room that stayed in our clothes. But overall we loved the "home" feeling of the riad

Nice to have a room on the roof top area, heard the birds in the am. I suspect it could be less private if people were using the seating up there. Bathroom plenty hot water for shower but did spill into rest of bathroom as no barriers on concrete floor. No door on bathroom either, just curtain, not an issue for just myself. A little more expensive than available facilities. Communication a bit of an issue as I only spoke English and they spoke mainly french but we all struggled along, very friendly though. Note when trying to find raid, go to the complete end of the street, door is on the right in an alcove, (not where Goggle recons).

Riad mimoune exceeded our expectations almost in every way possible. A quick but a very important interlude. The location is incorrect on google maps (and also on Booking.com). Riad mimoune is located in THE LAST HOUSE ON the long straight STREET. Please, go to the very end of this long road. I was utterly satisfied with the location of the Riad. (Once you outsmarted Google maps) it is really easy to get to, there is almost no turn you can get wrong. Additionally, this area is littered with Riads and hostels, which means that there are mainly tourist living alongside this straight road, so whenever walking back to our Riad we never encountered locals asking for tips etc. I felt safe. I would argue the with other comments stating that the Riad was noisy. It infact was quiet interrupted with the birds singing. Yes of course, you can hear the morning prayer, and this can be said of every hotel and riad located in the medina. The groundfloor has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with couches, a fireplace and a bookshelf, here you can mingle with the other guests. The rooftop is amazing! It has sunbeds and outdoor sofas, and the view is breath-taking. The breakfast (included in the price) was home made amd traditional. It was a treat. The staff is lovely and also professional. All in all, I highly recommend staying at Riad mimoune. It is extremely good value for money.

• it’s an intimate riad with coquette rooms • it has an adorable interior space with modern albums and books • it has hot water always • good, typical Moroccan breakfast - enjoyed it • the owner is the sweetest person - he is very involved and active and, simply, an incredibly happy person • lovely rooftop for tanning or enjoy the sunset / sunrise
Cons: • a bit loud, but that is everywhere in Marrakech • the pin on the map is not exactly correctly placed: YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE END OF THE STREET to arrive at the riad

The hotel operator is the sweetest old man. He opens the door for you with a warm smile on his face. Then he goes on to show you how to open and close the front door in detail to make sure you can get in and out safely, only to lock himself out of the hotel because he forgot his own keys. But really, he is the sweetest man who will make you feel like a part of the family right away. Such a warm and friendly person. As for the room, it had everything I needed, big comfy bed and everything was clean. Highly recommend this place in Marrakey

Aurthentic riad. Staff so friendly, polite and always around for queries. Felt homely. Breakfast was excellent and served all morning so no need to wake up early. Communal sofas and tv/board games good for relaxing and nice extra touch.

The Riad exceeded our expectations, was a comfortable stay with great management !! The rooms looked just like the photos and were also very clean. Included breakfast was delicious and dinner (10 euros pp) was well worth the money.
Cons: Not an improvement, but more a heads up that there is an additional payment for "police tax" of 50 dirhams (5 euros) a night and the road to get to most of the Riads, including this one, is very narrow so cars are not able to drive up to the property; you'll have to walk about 5 minutes.

Comfortable accommodation, and pretty stylish rooms, good location and clean.
Cons: First of all the price on booking.com was €38 so I was surprised when €44.50 was debited from my account. Upon arrival then they asked for a further €5 in cash which was called a "city tax". I paid the money since I had heard of similar taxes before in other countries but I must say that none of the other hotels in Marrakesh that I stayed in charged this tax. When I messaged the management about why €44.50 was debited from my account instead of €38 which was the price on booking, they told me that it was a "professional tax" which certainly seemed dubious as I had neither been informed about this tax in advance, nor was it written on any receipt I received. I also didn't come across this tax in any other hotel in Marrakesh. In other words, the hotel is nice but expect to pay an extra €11 or €12 in suspicious "taxes" on top of the price which is written on booking.com.

Cons: The old receptionist should retire. Heating in our room+ two other rooms didn't work. I found the old receptionist trying to stop quests socialising and chatting. Breakfast ok, but small - had to ask several times for more food. There were several fights and arguments with the receptionist grandpa during our stay - made us feel very uncomfortable 😣. Not a bad location, but would not ever stay there again.

Honestly I like most of the things in this Riad. Great location Very clean And the most important thing is the staff is soooooo nice and friendly especially the uncle. I even rebooked this place for the second time while I'm staying in Marrakech.
Cons: It's not I don't like but I would recommend the staff not to do is TALK TOO LOUD during the night even with new guests with late check-in and also morning time before the guests wake up. The place is real quiet and we also need it quiet. The thing is the mattress, recommended change because it's not comfortable for the back at all.

Two things about the location. It was ideal for me since I was going to stay close to the airport after my late arrival from London, and in the morning, I was to take off for Essaouira. But it is really hard to find. Fortunately, when my taxi dropped me off, there was a guy there who knew where it was and led me to it. I would have never found it without him. It was in alleyways and a fair walking distance of almost 10-minutes from the alley where the taxi dropped me off. But the staff had communicated with me earlier to know if I wanted to have dinner. The single staff member there, an older man, was very welcoming, and he served me one of the best chicken vegetable tajines I had in Morocco. The lady in the morning who served me a very nice Moroccan breakfast was also very good. If you need help during off-hours, there is no one to call. I had to wait until 8 am until I could talk to someone. Apparently, the sound carries in the RIad. Or maybe me being an American talked louder than Moroccans and Europeans who stayed at the Riad did, since they were speaking a lot softer. But otherwise, the RIad is a small but beautiful one.

We had a beautiful room and the breakfast was really good. The team was super friendly despite the language barrier (they barely spoke English). The location was also super nice and it was easy to get to the big market.
Cons: There were no doors to the bathroom. The top deck didn’t look like the pictures at all, all the furniture was orange / reddish from the sand and there were no pillows at all. There was a lot of stuff (including broken things) scattered around, it wasn’t a very inviting place. Unfortunately we discovered a lot of bed bugs and are now covered in bites.

My friend was born by insects at night and we reported it with the management saying there were no bugs and made us out to be crazy. I asked for a refund because I was scheduled to go back and did not want to go back. The is not really clean. We did our best to repel to bugs with natural spray we had with us a citronella patches all around the bed. We slept with the lights on and eye masks to reflect the bugs from coming out. Management said they would try to reimburse me but only after I wrote a good review and that Marrakech does not scare! This is an awful way to help guests. I do not recommend staying here. The elder man is friendly and then very put off. The woman chef there is kind and skilled. I hope they are nice to her. The dinner was more expensive then most and I hope she got a fare share of the money we paid. The elder gentleman did not even mention the price before hand.

The room was well appointed. Staff were very helpful. Still can't get over staying in places with a pool in the middle of the lounge room :) Breakfast is provided. It was good quality and plentiful.
Cons: Well, you can't really avoid it, but booked the accommodation looking at a map. The map indicates nearby parks and access to the main road. These are all blocked by a wall, and the walk into the riad is about 10 minutes from an opposite direction. Having said that, I would happily push my bags there and stay again.

The City
Cons: First, I booked from Booking for 32 dollars, and when I arrived with difficulty, and I was on a far trip, the owner of Riyadh changed it to 40 dollars without shame. The taxi stand is far from the riad and you have to drag your heavy bags through a narrow alley about 15 minutes; When I arrived, the door was locked, and Jeddah had bad services. The receptionist was an old man, and the work was continuing and there was a lot of noise. Restaurants and groceries were far away. In addition to the lack of communication with the owner of the Riyadh due to need, a bitter experience. I did not complete my day there and the lack of coverage. I wish I had not visited that Riyadh.

This riad is with the style, all was good. From the terrace you can even see the famous Mamounia park, what is cool.
Cons: It felt quite long walk from the spot where the taxis can leave you, it was the last inn of a long straight alley. That would be the main reason why I may not choose this riad anymore, although the riad itself, the staff and the room was nice. Even TV was in the room, but I didnt manage to find the channels anymore after pressing something - and I do know how to use the remote control! :D

We had a very pleasant stay, the staff was very friendly and we had quick responses to our questions before our stay. Marrakech can be a very busy town, but the location of the Riad is excellent, in a quiet alleyway away from traffic. But still close to the city center and attractions, only a 15 minute walk. Breakfast was very good and plentiful, we also had a Moroccan diner one evening, 3 courses, which we enjoyed a lot. Definitely recommend staying there, it's a lovely Riad with very attentive staff .

-The bedroom exceeded my expectations, it was so much better than my previous hotel that I stayed in Marrakesh as there was a heater and a fan in my room - There were many bedroom lights which helped as the room is dark! There are no windows or open lights! - The shower, the rugs and design is pretty - I liked there was a TV despite there only being one channel available - I needed a cab booked at 3am to the airport, I did not have a sim card so the hotel man allowed me to use his cell phone to book a cab which was very courteous of him - This is a good price as it was super super cheap
Cons: - The hotel owner doesn't speak english! Very hard to communicate with him so I had to use google translate as he only speaks Arabic or French - The address listed on booking.com is incorrect! I ended up at a different Riad hotel instead of Riad Mimoune, I was informed that this is because there is some sort of issue with the address listed, luckily the walk to the correct hotel was only 5mins away! If you end up at the wrong hotel, make the hotel owner take you directly to the Riad Mimoune, don't trust the people on the road as they charge tourists for directions (I sadly experienced this)! - WIFI is the WORST, doesn't go anywhere, I spent 20 mins trying to connect with no luck at all, you can only access it from the reception. I even connected to the booster on the 1st flood but it was SUPER weak. - I ended up catching covid from my trip to marrakesh, it could potentially be from the bedroom I stayed in if it was not clean thoroughly, I felt that my room was fairly clean but there may not be covid restrictions in place in terms of cleaning!

Our host was exceptionally kind and welcoming, he picked us up from the gate to the medina and walked us to the riad. We had several engaging conversations with him. The hotel is locatec near the main square so it was easy for us to walk there. On the main street you can always find a taxi. the hotel was nice and always clean. The lady that prepares the breakfast was very friendly and she was also cleaning the rooms every day. They have an amazing rooftop. The stuff was super friendly and always available to help. I also recommend to have a dinner in the hotel one night. It is not expensive comparing to the prices on the street. the dinner for one person was 100 dirham and it was really tasty. The owner is an older man and he was all the time in the hotel available to give any advice for Marrakech and tours. He was also super nice to us and even if he didnt speak English well, he gave his best to explain everything we asked. Really recommend it.
