Cons: Took an opportunity to take us *for a ride* when booking us a taxi to the next place we were staying. Charged MAD200 for a short ride and had to walk 15minutes on the road that cars were going. Didn't hurt too much, but just like everywhere in Marrakech, know better and haggle.

Riad que se encuentra dentro de la Medina, en una zona tranquila. la hospitalidad del personal del Riad fue muy buena y fueron muy amables con nuestro grupo y muy atentos, especialmente los dos chicos que nos atendieron en el desayuno y en la comida. Un día salimos de excursion y se levantaron antes para preparar el desayuno, también la señora de la cocina muy amable, nos preparó un té a mediatarde . Las habitaciones estan bien de tamaño y todo super limpio.
Cons: Cogimos una excursion a Aguafay Desert, pero no fue lo que esperábamos y nos sentimos defraudados y engañados, ya que salimos tarde de Marrakech y el conductor nos llevó a una cooperativa de aceite sin que nos hubiera informado previamente y como no compramos nada porque no era el objeto de la excursion, su actitud cambió con todos nosotros y no nos habló en el resto del viaje . Cuando llegamos al desierto se marchó sin decirnos nada y tuvimos que seguirlo hacia donde estaban los camellos, el viaje fue de 6 minutos( literalmente) , cuando debía de ser de 30 o 35 minutos, porque se hizo de noche al poco de llegar. Cenamos y cuando estábamos terminando se acercó a la mesa y nos dijo que nos esperaba en la furgoneta, tuvimos que encontrarlo con la linterna dl movil. Eso sí se lo comunicamos a Addessamend que es el manager del Riad para que lo tuviera en cuenta para próximas excursiones

Esta en la medina , a 20 minutos de plaza Fna, en una zona tranquila y autentica. Desayuno completo incluido en precio. Los 2 Abdul son muy agradables y al ser un grupo de 7 personas nos pedian minivan para desplazarnos por la ciudad al igual que transfers al aeropuerto.
Cons: En nuestra habitacion haria falta una repisa para dejar:champus,gel etc.. Camas mejorables.

I didn`t know about it, because in my confirmation letter the room was with a window. but in the hotel they didn't acknowledge this fact, and we had to stay because it was already evening. We had a two-night reservation, but we cancelled the second because the terms and conditions didn't match the price paid. There was a problem with hot water in the bathroom.

En arrivant à l’aéroport, notre taxi organisé par le Riad nous attendait à l’heure malgré le retard de notre vol. À première vue, les ruelles menant au Riad peuvent surprendre, mais nous sommes rentrés chaque soir par les souks alentours sans jamais rencontrer le moindre problème. Une fois la porte du Riad franchie, l’atmosphère paisible et la beauté des lieux font rapidement oublier l’agitation extérieure. Le personnel – notamment Ayoub – a été d’une grande gentillesse : accueillant, chaleureux, attentionné et toujours disponible. À notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec du thé, des gâteaux et quelques recommandations sur les activités et bonnes adresses à proximité. Notre chambre, prévue pour trois personnes, comportait un lit double et un lit simple. La literie comme le mobilier étaient confortables et propres. Les serviettes ont été changées plusieurs fois durant notre séjour et les lits refaits quotidiennement. Prévoyez cependant des bouchons d’oreilles, car la rue peut être un peu bruyante (comme souvent dans la médina). La pression de l’eau n’était pas très forte, mais suffisante pour se doucher après les journées de visite. Chaque matin, nous avons profité d’un petit déjeuner complet (gâteaux, msemmen, crêpes, pancakes, thé, café, confiture, beurre, etc.), servi à l’heure convenue la veille en fonction de nos excursions, toujours avec le sourire d’Ayoub et de ses collègues. Encore une fois, un vrai plaisir. Nous pouvions contacter le Riad sur WhatsApp à tout moment : ils restaient disponibles pour la moindre demande. Le rooftop, équipé de tables, transats et offrant une jolie vue sur la médina, était parfait pour se détendre en fin de journée. La place Jemaa el-Fna se trouve à environ 20–25 minutes à pied, et le sud de la médina à environ 30 minutes. La promenade passe vite grâce à l’ambiance animée des souks et boutiques. Attention toutefois le soir : certaines portes de souks ferment à 21h. Si vous restez enfermés, des personnes peuvent
Cons: Suite : peuvent proposer de vous raccompagner… contre paiement. Il vaut donc mieux privilégier les grands axes de nuit. Nous avons également dîné une soirée au Riad : le tajine était délicieux, et le menu (entrée, plat, pain, dessert) seulement 15 € par personne. Le transfert retour a aussi été organisé par Ayoub pour 15 € pour trois personnes, comme à l’aller, ce qui simplifie grandement le séjour. À noter : le règlement du logement, de la restauration et des taxis se fait en espèces (euros ou dirhams). Ce séjour restera un excellent souvenir et a balayé certains a priori que nous pouvions avoir. Nous recommandons vivement ce Riad : le rapport qualité-prix est exceptionnel, et l’aspect humain nous a particulièrement touchés. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour leur gentillesse naturelle et leurs sourires si précieux !

Location and host. We requested them for airport pick up and they were great in arranging the cab driver . Our driver had to wait bu the time we came out from airport but he guided is till we reach riad.

Sin duda, me gustaría destacar la amabilidad de los trabajadores, absolutamente todos desde el principio fueron muy atentos y serviciales. El riad es sencillo, pero por relación calidad-precio no puedes pedir más, la habitación doble es amplia, el aire acondicionado funciona bien y puedes ducharte cómodamente (tiene secador), y todos los días pasaron a limpiar y ordenar la habitación. Aparte, lo que más me gustó fue el desayuno, era super completo! (Yogur, tortitas con mermelada, zumo + café o té, un pastelito, pan, podías pedir una tortilla francesa, etc.) El horario en principio es de 8:00 a 10:00, pero nosotros un día teníamos una excursión y pedimos desayunar más temprano, a las 7:30, y no hubo problema, al igual que el día que nos fuimos que dejamos la habitación a las 12:00 no contábamos con el desayuno porque nos levantamos tarde, y al hacer el check-out a las 12:00 y poco el mismo recepcionista nos pregunto si queríamos desayunar, y en un momento nos lo hizo. Yo recomiendo que si llegáis por la noche contratéis el servicio de traslado del aeropuerto al hotel (15 €), porque al estar en una callejuela el taxi no puede dejarte en la puerta, por eso si haces el traslado con el riad el coche te deja lo más cerca posible, y el chico del riad viene a buscarte para guiarte hasta el alojamiento. Yo cuando llegamos la verdad que me asuste, porque donde se acaba el acceso en coche es una carretera donde montan un mercado local con mucha pobreza y la zona da mala espina, pero por la mañana ya veras que es totalmente seguro, nosotros pasamos mil veces a todas horas por ese mercado y no nos dieron ni una razón para pensar que puede ser peligroso. Y dentro las callejuelas donde esta el riad ya veras que son bonitas, y que al haber más riads te encontraras con muchos más turistas. Esta a 25 min andando aprox del Zoco y 15 min andando de los jardines majorelle.
Cons: Por poner alguna pega, diría que el colchón de la cama es bastante duro (aunque si vas cansado te duermes igual) y las habitaciones solo tienen una ventana de madera que da directamente al pasillo del riad, lo que no aísla bien el ruido y se oye todo bastante, a la vez que no se puede ventilar mucho... Pero por relación-precio esta muy bien! Pd: pagas la estancia al hacer el check-out y te lo piden en efectivo (o euros o dirhams, lo que quieras). Si le preguntas al recepcionista hay un sitio para cambiar el dinero sin comisión a 5 minutos andando! (no hace falta que vayas hasta el hotel Ali donde va todo el mundo :) )

Can't praise the staff enough, they were amazingly kind and helpful at all times. The rooms were clean and the location of the riad allowed us to walk to all the sites which was really helpful. The breakfast in the mornings were made fresh. We tried the morrocan dinner which is offered by the hotel and it was by far the best meal we had throughout our time in Marrakesh.

Los desayunos son muy buenos, el personal es muy amable y la ubicación está muy bien. La cama es cómoda y la decoración del patio interior es bonita. La cena estuvo bien, pero más cara que en los mejores restaurantes de la zona.
Cons: Tuvimos problemas con el CHECK-IN y el CHECK-OUT. Reservé una habitación doble y nos dieron una triple sin ventanas, alegando que era mejor. Pedí el cambio y nos ofrecieron al día siguiente otra triple pero con dos ventanas y algo más amplia. Eso sí, pagando un extra de 10€/noche. Al dejar el hotel, el TPV no funcionaba y el gerente nos acompañó a un cajero para sacar el dinero y pagar en metálico, encargándose él de la comisión del banco. Esto nos llevó más de media hora y casi perdemos el bus al siguiente destino. Aunque el Riad se encuentra en una calle secundaria, había obras en la zona y no pudimos dormir mucho. Las ventanas son normales y las contraventanas de madera, así que el ruido de la calle se colaba muy fácilmente.

Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e ajudam em tudo o que necessitamos ! Fomos muito bem recebidas logo no primeiro dia e quarto foi arrumado também todos os dias. Existe água quente e secador no quarto. O motorista do Riad também foi impecável , estando a horas no aeroporto para nos ir buscar e levar.

El personal del Riad, todos muy amables y dispuestos a ayudarnos en todo momento. El desayuno de los mejores de Marruecos, delicioso, súper recomendado, un día salíamos de excursión y se despertaron súper pronto a hacérnoslo. Nos recomendaron un par de restaurantes muy buenos y dieron un mapa indicándonos los puntos turísticos más importantes. Nos encantó.

Das Riad war sehr charmant und familiär geführt. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für das Abendessen konnte man sich im Voraus anmelden – es war frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Die Zimmer waren sauber und gut ausgestattet, mit allem, was man braucht. Die Lage ist fußläufig zur Innenstadt, allerdings nicht direkt im Zentrum.

This was our final two-night stay in Morocco, and we enjoyed it very much! The young, helpful staff was amazing (our 12-year-old son even got to practice his English chatting about online games :)). The place is adorable, located within the walls of Old Marrakesh, yet conveniently away from the city noise. The room was a bit dim (which is common in riads), but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We loved relaxing on the couches in the common area, enjoyed the big, tasty breakfasts, and had a lovely dinner on our last night. Thank you guys for everything! :)

Excellent location at a part of town that seems to be less touristic and authentic. The stuff was very helpful and tried to accomodate us in every occasion (booking additional nights, holding our luggage whilst we were on trips in other cities, calling for taxis, etc). Nice atmosphere and good vibes, helpful and polite without being overbearing. Highly recommended.

It is a beautiful riad, a bit further from the main tourist attractions. However, there are great restaurants and other places around too, so it was no complication. The staff was very helpful, the communication was quick, all our requests were fulfilled. They booked a 3-day tour to Sahara for us and the company they work with is perfect. Very good breakfast. The overall experience was great.

The location is beautiful, quiet and authentic, at a maximum of 20 minutes walk from the center, and you have the opportunity to admire the city like this. Abdessamed's kindness is boundless. He is always attentive and helps you with any kind of information you need. Including with breakfast, he took care to offer us something, although it was served starting at 8 am. I perfect traditional Riad ! Amazing host who organised an airport pickup and met us from the taxi to guide us through the medina to the accommodation. This made me feel safe and welcome. Host was always on hand to help with directions or advice. We stayed in a triple room 4. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. A great place to explore Marrakech from. I would recommend this Riad.

Cons: We were a group of 6 families and occupied 6 out of 8 rooms in riad. There were only 2 outsiders apart from our group. we felt the hospitality could have been better. The rooms were decent. The problem was with water. Either you get extremely hot or cold water, and most of the time, there is no water. Breakfast options were not great. Only one egg per person, which i felt but weird and the first time i saw a BF without any fruits and vegetables. When we asked for an extra omelette or requested to include fruits, then we were asked to pay 10 dhirams extra per person per day. Kids were always asked to be quiet even while eating on top of that. we planned to celebrate a bday over there in riad for one of the kids where the dinner was arranged with an extra fee. Food was good and for the amount we paid, it was not very satisfying. We couldn't enjoy our holiday peacefully. H

Good location right on the edge of the medina for car pick up and drop off. Spacious room and good hot shower and plenty of shampoo and shower gel provided. The staff were very nice and let us leave our luggage both before and after the stay. My partner also got norovirus for the last day and the nice man let him rest on one of the day beds for several hours while waiting for airport pickup.
Cons: We stayed in room 7 and wifi did not reach the room so it was slightly inconvenient. The bed was very hard and the pillow gave me a bit of neck pain. This may have just been a personal preference.

The breakfast was amazing and all freshly made. The cakes were our favourite. They sorted out all our excursions for a fair price. Cons: We were a bit misled about the tours. The riad gave us information about a tour which they simply passed on from others. We went to the Ouzoud Waterfall: it was very nice but advertised as being in the High Atlas Mountains, when it wasn't in the High Atlas Mountains at all. This was disappointing as we really wanted to visit the High Atlas. The first 2 hours of the journey were on flat terrain and the journey took longer than advertised. I think they advertise unrealistic hopeful journey times so you don't think the journey will be too long. We came across this on another tour.

The staff was amazing, they helped organize rides to the airport, tours, answered any questions happily, etc. The breakfast was pretty good and the dinners I had were amazing, you just have to tell them in advance you want dinner.
Cons: The location wasn’t great. It’s a bit far from the center so it takes a while to get there walking. It also makes it a little hard to find at night. However Marrakech in general is hard to navigate, this Riad just happens to be farther out.

I stayed on this riad for two nights with my family of five. The riad is very close to the Medina gate hardly two minutes walk. One of the staff came to receive us on the Medina gate. We have been served by traditional tea and biscuits and check in process was very smooth. We booked two rooms and in one of the room heating was not working so when I asked them he happily looked at it. Breakfast was nice and served on time. We booked a day trip with them also for Ouzoud Waterfall. They arranged the trip which was very good. Mini van was very comfortable. The guide who joined us only on the waterfall was bit pushy but was nice and friendly though. The riad staff was really good and was very helpful in guiding us and answering our all queries very calmly with smile on their face.

I could not be more grateful with Abdel, it was a very nice experience to stay in Mounir. Their hospitality is amazing. We book for only 2 nights but we ended extending for a week and left because it was booked out. Abdel helped us to find very nice tours, booked for us and found us very affordable prices. I liked the location since was calmer and more quiet than the centre, you can walk for around 20 minutes through nice alleys and get to the most touristic spots in the city. The room was okay and breakfast was good. I got sick one day and the helped me to find some medicines and prepare some soup at the Riad. I appreciate all the help was provided in our trip. The owner / caretaker was always available to answer any questions, arranging tours, providing directions around the medina etc. He was also gracious enough to wake up early and prepare coffee for us on the day we were going to leave for our desert safari. The Riad can be a little challenging to find inside the medina, but after a couple of times of exploring around the medina, it becomes easy.
Cons: Since breakfast times are usually late in Morocco, it would be a good idea to have some fruits or cakes to go if guests have booked early morning day-tours like Agafay, Zagora, Merzouga etc. The shower area could have a small shelf on the wall to hold the toiletries.

Cons: To be honest, don’t want to return to this riad. On the photo at booking site it looks like “what an authentic place” but in reality this is just a house in the heart of a town but that’s all. Room was wet, with mould on the sailing, a sink in bathroom was clogged. Breakfasts were poor, every day the same: one egg, a bread, two small pancakes and a jam. And at the end of our stay, before the departure the owner tried “usual” trick with unpaid city tax (which was in fact included when I paid the accommodation). I don’t feel love on this place. Positive thing is that the owner met with us in terms of re-booking of the original trip. This was really appreciated. But in general I don’t recommend this accommodation. We pay European prices but really don’t obtain European service for that. I see still much to learn there

Serene haven in Marrakech. Our time in Riad Mounir was always peaceful and calm. The staff are so welcoming, gentle and helpful. Breakfast every day was very substantial and Abdessemad made sure we were fully fed even when we had an early pick-up on checkout day. It's about 20 mins walk to the heart of the Medina, and the main square, but we didn't mind this. Very near the wall which is useful for excursion pick-ups. Lovely mint tea and biscuits on arrival. Smooth check-in. Comfortable nights. Plenty of hot water and basic toiletries supplied. The roof terrace is also great for relaxing outside without the hustle and bustle. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Cons: Shame the card machine didn't accept any of our four cards, which always work abroad, so we had to go on the hunt for cash. Not sure if that was a signal problem but you might want to bring sufficient Dirham just in case.

Our host Abdesammed was very kind and helped us tremendously with navigating our activities in the city and beyond, the Riad itself was a beautiful and quiet oasis in the sometimes chaotic and always colourful medina. Our room was also spacious, the bed was quite comfortable and the shower was clean. We also loved the food prepared by the Riads chef, we can only recommend trying the Tagines for dinner! And finally, the roof terrace was perfect for relaxing and soaking up the winter sunrays.

We arrived at the train station, it was only 25min walk to the riad. We were welcomed with moroccan tea and sweets. The check in was very fast and smooth. we were then given the key and had the liberty to come and go as we like. The room was big enough, it also included a big wardrobe, a very comfy bed.. we slept like babies.. the next morning we had a good moroccan breakfast. They were happy to give us directions and the location was better than we expected, it's basically near Jamaa El-Fena, Gueliz.. The host and the whole staff were very kind and helpful, the room was clean and confortable, the position is perfect (inside the Medina, so very close to all the visiting points, but close to the walls so that we wouldn't risk to get lost), also the breakfast was good and generous.

Great. nice roof top Terrence, lovely breakfast, nice owners, very helpful owners. good Wi-Fi.
Cons: The mattress and pillows were very hard but deal-able. might not be for some. Location is about 25-30 minute walk to the square. which I didn’t mind because more calories to burn. But older people may struggle.

The atmosphere of the Riad was a completely new and pleasant experience. Great breakfast and the owner was very positive in his advice
Cons: I was a bit daunted by the approach to the Riad. And found the alleys a little confusing but worked out a way not to get lost

the room was a good size and comfortable and the rooftop was cute
Cons: location was a little far from the main square but not too much, it was easily walkable. was pretty close to the majorelle gardens though

Very positive and friendly greeting, making us feel welcome and relaxed.
Cons: Pillows for me were very hard ,but that was personal preference. A little way out from the square but we like walking so no issue,

The bed , matress was very comfortable, and the airconditional was working well. The rooftop is sunny, with sunbeds. The breakfast perfect portion, tasty.
Cons: The room not really in that condition, it was seen on the pictures the time of booking.

liked the central location of the Riad, its host went out of his way to help and advise us, the breakfast was plentiful and the evening meal which is available to purchase was excellent quality.

Amazing breakfast and great size of the bedroom and bathroom. Location was good for me even if it is not so touristic. Nice terrace where you can relax. Abdessamed was very helpful and kind. He also arranged the desert tour for us. You have to try the chicken tagine, it was the best tagine I had in 2 weeks in Morocco. We had dinner at the Riad twice and the food was excellent.
Cons: The bed was huge and very comfortable but it squeaks a bit when you move, so just use some hear plugs if you have a light sleep :)

This was a beautiful little Riad. Very clean and comfortable. We had a pleasant stay. I was there with my family and Abdisamad was an excellent host who went far beyond requirement. He made our Marrakech experience excellent arranging and organising everything for us. Thank you very much.
