Riad très bien placé dans la médina, les principaux spots sont accessibles à pied. Chambre confortable bien que sans fenêtre et salle de bain petite. Le gros point positif : le personnel qui est adorable, merci pour votre accueil. Le petit déjeuner est également très bon et copieux.
Cons: Les draps n'étaient pas très propres : tâches, cheveux... Le débit faible de l'eau chaude dans la douche.

The people were exceptionally nice and friendly. Souleyman and Soukheina are always there too help. The properly was well located in the middle of the shopping area of the old city. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The breakfast is delicious. You feel at home with Souleyman. I will recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Pour le coup tout était bien: le lieu est propre, on y dort bien, et idéalement situé. Mais c'est surtout le personnel qui m'a le plus plu: toutes les personnes qui travaillent à la Ryad sont exceptionnelles ! Je pense en particulier à Selaiman: dès que l'on avait un problème, il en avait la solution. On veut faire visiter le désert, faire du quad, diner dans un restaurant ou que sais-je, il réservais pour nous rapidement et on avait qu'à se laisser guider. Merci pour tous ces souvenirs !

C’est un véritable havre de paix, très silencieux, ce qui est très appréciable. On commence la journée en beauté avec un petit-déjeuner royal et généreux servi avec le sourire. Sobre todo el trato del personal en especial de Selaiman, una persona amable dispuesto ha facilitarte en todo momento cualquier cosa que surja, se adaptavan a nuestros horarios de salida a excursiones para tener siempre el inmenso desayuno disponible, el Riad está justo a la entrada de la medina, facil de llegar con maletas sin tener que caminar por todo el zoco, lamentablemente no tubimos buen tiempo y no podimos disfrutar de las terrazas, una lastima. Lo recomiendo al 100%

Abbiamo trovato capelli non nostri su tutte le lenzuola, per tutte le 5 notti oltre che sparsi per tutta la stanza, nonostante “pulissero” la stanza ogni giorno. Abbiamo chiesto di cambiare le lenzuola e non è stato fatto, abbiamo trovato i capelli nella stessa posizione tutte le sere. Le asciugamani erano sporche e macchiate. La mattina a colazione le tovagliette erano tutte sporche. In generale la pulizia è davvero manchevole.

Cons: When I entered to the property I thought I was in the wrong place until they mentioned my name confirming my reservation. The pictures you see online is far away from the reality. Riad is so small, the reception is tiny. The patio..I was looking for that big center patio…the room… Please don’t go for the pictures you see. I am glad I booked only for one night. Good things were customer service, location and the breakfast.

Reserve este Riad por los comentarios y fue todo un acierto. La ubicación es excelente, a 3-4 minutos de la plaza principal y queda al lado de una entrada a la medina lo que supone que los taxis te puedan dejar en la puerta del Riad. La habitación era muy cómoda y grande, cama cómoda, aire acondicionado, calefacción, secador de pelo.... el servicio excelente por todo el personal del Riad, los desayunos muy abundantes... volveré!

Una estadía excepcional, pasamos unos días increíbles. Todas las personas que trabajan en el hotel eran agradables y simpáticas. Nos ofrecieron ayuda para todo lo que necesitábamos: recomendaciones de restaurantes, taxis, etc. El riad se encuentra cerca de muchos puntos de interés, genial para recorrer el casco antiguo andando. Además está en una zona donde hay muchos restaurantes cerca. Nuestra experiencia fue genial, y lo que más nos sorprendió fue la amabilidad de todo el personal. Sin duda alguna, en caso de volver a Marrakech, volveremos!

Riad Makech is a charming small hotel converted from a traditional residence. The courtyard is roofed but open to the air and little birds sometimes darted inside. Decorations are not lavish, but tasteful and give an idea of how it might feel to live in such a home. The rooms were smallish but clean with nice bathrooms. Beds comfy. Breakfast on the roof terrace was generous. Staff is welcoming and helpful. The riad is located near Jemaa el-Fnaa on the edge of the medina, so access to taxis was very convenient. The neighborhood felt safe. Nearby is one upscale (but not too pricey) restaurant, al-Khayma, and a homey terrace restaurant, Dar Zin.
Cons: The hotel was thinly staffed and no one was available to carry our bags downstairs. Not a biggie.

Estuvimos alojados en este riad durante nuestra estancia en Marrakech y fue una experiencia maravillosa. El lugar es precioso, muy limpio, tranquilo y con una decoración típica marroquí que te hace sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Queremos destacar especialmente la atención de Selaiman, que fue increíble en todo momento. Siempre atento, amable y dispuesto a ayudarnos con una sonrisa, nos hizo sentir cuidados y bienvenidos. Jeśli chcecie wyspać się w czystym, spokojnym miejscu, poszukajcie noclegów w dzielnicy Gueliz. Blisko do medyny i gwarancja, że będziecie spać spokojnie, a ceny są wręcz identyczne.
Cons: Po raz pierwszy w życiu wymeldowałam się z obiektu przed zakończeniem rezerwacji, a jestem doświadczoną podróżniczką. Zarezerwowalam 3 noce, ale po 1 postanowiłam zmienić miejsce. 1) Po zameldowaniu otrzymaliśmy 2 pokoje do wyboru, ale żaden z nich nie był zgodny z tym, który rezerwowaliśmy - mieliśmy mieć pokój ze stolikiem, a otrzymaliśmy bardzo mały pokój, w którym było miejsce tylko na łóżko i na to, żeby przejść wokół i wejść do toalety, oczywiście stolika nie było, ale nie byłoby nawet gdzie go wstawić. 2) W ofercie jest basen. Planowałam najgorętsze godziny spędzać na dachu z basenem. Gdy zapytałam obsługę, gdzie jest basen, okazało się, że nie ma basenu. :D 3) Na dachu jest tak brudno, jest mnóstwo kurzu, meble wyglądają jakby nigdy nie były czyszczone. Mam alergię na roztocza i niestety, gdy siedziałam ok. 1 godziny na dachu na fotelu, skóra na całym ciele zaczęła mnie swędzieć. 4) Taras to miejsce, w którym dostajesz śniadanie. Problem polega na tym, że hotel nie ma wystarczająco dużo miejsca (są tylko 4 stoliki), żeby usadzić wszystkich gości do śniadania, więc musisz czekać, aż inni goście zjedzą, żebyś Ty mógł zjeść. Dodam, że riad był obłożony w pełni, więc sporo gości czekało. 5) Riad jest w granicach medyny i nawet jeśli myślisz, że będzie tam cicho i spokojnie - zapomnij o tym. Nie mogliśmy spać całą noc, ponieważ był hałas ludzi, skuterów, aut do 3-4 w nocy, a później od 6 rano to samo. 6) Obsługa na początku była miła i rozumiała mnie, pokazali nawet drugi riad, w którym proponowali nam pokój (niższy standard, brudne łóżka). Powiedzieli, że wyślą mi od managera hotelu potwierdzenie, że wymeldowałam się przed czasem (potrzebowałam tego, by złożyć reklamację w Booking), ale od 2 tygodni nie odczytują naszych wiadomości na WhatsApp z prośbą o przesłanie potwierdzenia. 7) Mimo tego po moim wymeldowaniu riad ponownie wystawił nasz pokój na portal do rezerwacji. 8) Po wejściu do riadu czuć wybielacz lub inny chemiczny zapach. Struttura tipica marocchina, molto accogliente con camere spaziose e terrazza con vista sulla città. Colazione buonissima abbondante con prodotti freschi, preparata al momento.
Cons: Sarebbe meglio che la pulizia delle stanze venisse fatta quotidianamente e non a giorni alterni. Le camere peccano di poca insonorizzazione, ma tutta via sta nella civiltà delle persone ad avere rispetto degli altri. Camera con luce soffusa, quindi un po' buia

Everything was perfect! On our arrival Selaiman greeted us with a warm welcome and a tea (which was amazing). He continued to be one of the best hosts I have ever had and I couldn’t thank him enough for all his recommendations, help and kindness. The room was lovely and clean, and the included breakfast was just perfect. They even adapted the breakfast for my friend as she is gluten and dairy free without any worries at all. Thank you for the amazing stay and if I return I will definitely be staying at Riad Makech again!!

Cons: As a solo female traveler, I had a deeply uncomfortable experience at this riad. The host repeatedly pressured me to share my full schedule and insisted I go out at night, even though I was clearly exhausted after being out the whole day. I was fasting and politely declined breakfast every day, yet he continued to ask over and over — even giving me a lunch box the very next day after I had explicitly said I was fasting. I was already out of the riad, he followed me to the porch and shouted to have me come back and pick it up. I ended up giving the food to someone on the street. On my final day, although he wasn’t even on-site, he still called me about breakfast, which felt invasive and controlling. And there is a sign on the wall saying it's served upstairs. If I ever needed anything I would have gone myself on any day. No need to ask me over and over and over. One night he tried to deliver a laundry bag to my room while I was already in bed, and I had to insist multiple times that he not come. While I was away on a desert excursion, he messaged and called me repeatedly for no valid reason, which made me feel watched and pressured. At checkout, one of the staff physically grabbed my suitcase against my will while I was on the stairs — despite me refusing help twice — and nearly caused me to fall. Overall, the experience was emotionally exhausting, with my boundaries consistently ignored. I did not feel respected or safe. I would not recommend this accommodation to solo female travelers.

Beautiful Riad in a great location! Very easy access to the Riad so you’re able to get dropped off very close to it. It is also very close to Djemaa El Fna and the many souks. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Suleiman greeted us with mint tea and then let us choose which room we preferred out of a few available! The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast on the terrace was amazing and one of the best breakfasts offered by the many Riad’s we stayed at. We had to leave very early on our last day and Suleiman prepared us a breakfast to go! We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again!
Cons: The lighting fixtures in the rooms are beautiful, however, the downside is the lighting is very dim. It was fine for two days but if I were to stay longer I would need brighter lighting.

Just a minute walk to the Medina and attractions. Also near the mainroad, if you have a car, you can park on the other side of the road for 100dirham in one night. Have really good breakfast, have basic amenities. The best is you choose on the terrace for a room, because is good ventilated. Have AC and Smart TV, the shower also good between cold and hot. Really humble service

Breakfast on the terrace was fantastic- Suliman made us so welcome- and ran up and down three flights of stairs with energy and good humour to deliver our food. Everything was clean and well maintained- the rooms even have hairdryers which is unusual in Morocco

It was clean, amazing breakfast, we had a quiet room. It was cla an every day. The stairs going up are comfortable also for older people. Rooftop is nice it’s 5 min walk to Medina and public transportation. The ladies preparing our breakfast and cleaning the room were so nice. Seleiman the manager did the most to make our stay enjoyable . Thank you so much for great service and amazing stay. The hosts of Riad Mackech are exceptional. Souleiman and the all hosts, cleaners and cooks were very warm, attentive, sincere and friendly, and were very eager to make sure we had a good stay. Breakfast on the terrace was just great and was a delicious and satisfying start to our mornings. The location was optimal for visiting Jemaa El-Fnaa and the bazars, as well as most of the main attractions.
Cons: My only suggestion for the hosts is to add more storage space in some of the rooms, such as shelves and closets, and hooks or towel racks in the bathroom.

The staff at the Riad is very friendly and very accommodating. The Moroccan Tea with a freshly baked pastry was very nice-just the right way of starting the day. The room was according to the 3 star Guest Accommodation standard. Location-it is within walking distance to all the attractions.
Cons: During the night it was some noise on and off, but after a day of walking around I was able to get over it. The neighborhood of the Riad wasn't a "very clean area" to say it nicely. And in general I found it the recycling and the care towards the nature a big issue in Morocco.

The location was ver good. A little outside the Medina with not as many noises from outside the hotel. The staff and especially Suleyman was very nice and accommodating. The rooftop with the breakfast is very nice. The rooms were always clean. The location felt very safe.
Cons: The bars to lock the rooms and the doors in general are very loud. There is a lot of noises which are maybe normal for Riads as the sound echoes in the hollow room in the center of the hotel. That’s the only negative issue we had.

The Riad is very beautiful, especially the view of the mosque you get from the terrace… you can’t put a price on breakfast and sunset with such a view. The room was very comfortable and clean, with daily room service. The bathroom was small but perfectly ok for a weekly stay. The breakfast was great, and it was also nice to be able to have some tea in the afternoon to cool off from the busy streets of Marrakech. Special mention to Selaiman who was very nice, friendly and also helpful. He always ready and willing to help with whatever we needed. Our stay would not have been the same without him :) . We also befriended a cat in the terrace and Selaiman was nice enough to have committed to feed her while we are gone.

The personnel was lovely and made our stay very pleasent. They helped us with charging our sim Cards and a lot of questions regarding marrakesh and excursions. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough for us. The rooms were nice and had an A/C which was great for the hoter days/nights. There is an outdoor seating area on the second floor and a roof terrace with a nice view over the city, especially in the evening! Additionally there is a pool which served as a nice refresher. The Riad is located about 5-10 min walkway from Djemaa el-Fna and the souks and about 5 min from bahia palace. Due to this I felt like it was a bit quieter at night :)
Cons: The lights in the room and bathroom were a bit dim. The doors and windows aren't soundproof, so I would recommend using some sort of earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Super nice staff. We’ve missed Younesse and the day shift girl (Sorry I can’t spell her name) as well as the other cleaning ladies! They are all super sweet and helpful. (The Tajine that the cleaning lady cooked was absolutely the best one that I’ve ever had! I still miss it now!) 3. There is a beautiful terrace with a view of the Koutoubia. They always provided a really good breakfast in the morning too. Everyone who works there went above and beyond to help, make sure your comfortable, provide recommendations for restaurants, sights around the city etc. They were also extremely passionate about sharing their culture, heritage insights to language, customs and experiences. We had an unbelievable stay.

I stayed at Riad Kech for four nights and felt completely at home. The staff made my stay incredibly special, particularly Soukaina and Mohammad for their kindness, and Chef Saida for her incredible and tasty breakfasts. The room was super clean and cozy, and the location of the riad is just perfect—close to the main attractions with plenty of restaurants and markets around.I definitely recommend Riad Kech, especially for its outstanding staff. Even the owner, Mr. Said, was friendly and helpful; he spoke to the driver and gave him directions when I called. Thank you to the entire team of Riad Kech for making our stay remarkable.

The host Karim and the staff all extremely kind and supporting in all needs. Available all the time and really makes the stay at Riad and trip to Marrakech a big difference. Location is close to all main sites to visit, nearby everything but enough far from crowded areas. Breakfast is a mix of traditional flavour and modern one, served at customer preference.

I likedevery part of this property the Architecture is beautiful and where it's located is perfect I would like to say thank you to the staff of the Riad Soukaina, Karim and Saaid they were brilliant host and made us feel comfortable gave us all the hotspots to visit and what to look for In the streets of the vibrant Marrakesh, the rooms our spacious with hot showers and comfy beds. We stayed mid January for a few days. It is just inside the Medina wall. Close to the square. Stepping through the lobby, we were immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception area. We welcomed by a fabulous staff- Sukhina, welcoming us through the amazing tea and biscuits! Although we were checked in early and out late, they helped in every way. Karim is super helpful. Whole Riad has a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the Riad were very professional, friendly and accommodating. They are always smiling. We had fantastic, homemade, fresh breakfast every morning. They always greet us and smile at us. The location of the riad is excellent. The room was not very spacious but spotless with all the essentials. I have no hesitation in recommending this riad to the tourists who want to go to Marrakech. Will be back to this place soon..!!!

Breakfast was very nice, which was a good start to the day ahead. The property is situated, slap , bang in the middle of Marrakesh. In the medina just a 4 min walk to where everything is. The location was great as it was in the medina itself so a short walk to the souks and most of the attractions apart from Jardin majorelle garden. The staff, Karim was amazing. He was very friendly and helpful and gave us a lot of useful tips which came in very handy. He even accommodated early breakfast on one of the days as we had to leave early. He is a star.

The staff was absolutely amazing. Soukaina and Karim treated us like old friends and made the riad feel like home. They were always available for everything we needed and organized a great excursion day to Desert d’Agafay. All the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. It was a little bit different every day but was always good. Our room was a bit small but clean and comfortable. They did offer to switch us to a bigger room when one became available, but it wasn’t necessary because the room was very nice anyway. The building itself was lovely. It was a nice to take a break from being a tourist and enjoy the riad itself. It was particularly nice relaxing on the roof or drinking tea on the terrace. The location was great, walking distance to most tourist attractions in the city and in the Medina.

I always wanted to stay in Riyadh when I was going to travel to Morocco, I chose Riad Makech for its location, very close to Jemaa El Fena Square 2 minutes walking... Karim welcomed us with tea and explained everything very carefully, as if we were in the family, we felt at home from the first night, the breakfast was very good, coffee with milk, tea, eggs, breads, various sauces, cheese... The Riad is simple, but for the price, receptivity and location, it's worth it!

The location is perfect, easy to find. After arrival we got a map,and the receptionist marked all interesting for us places, advised us where to eat well and where is the best exchange. He wasn't mistaken. Everyone in the riad was very nice to us.
Cons: I booked 22 m2 room, and there where max 12 squere metres in our room, which makes quite a difference. The breakfast, first day we got one hard booked egg for a person, but the second only sweet things, no proteins at all. For me no difference, but my teenage boys were just hungry.

Also activity & excursions! The riad is few steps from the most important attractions to visit in Marrakech. The breakfast is amazing and if you want to experience a proper Moroccan experience, go to Riad Makech. Place super clean and room has the essential to stay in comfortable place. The Riad is just as described. The location is amazing, right next to all the main places in the Medina. Saeed and all the staff, from the people cooking to the people cleaning and greeting us, were all so welcoming and kind. Saeed gave us loads of tips as it was our first time in Marrakech. The room is comfortable, it has air conditioning with cold and warm air, it's spacious and well decorated. The terraces are beautiful and the Riad has cameras in the stairs and entrance so it feels very safe. Also my partner and I are vegan and the staff adapted the breakfast to our needs and were super helpful. They also organised for someone to pick us up from the airport which was very nice and easy after a long flight.
Cons: All was perfect, just as a notice in case someone wants to work from the riad sometimes the wifi doesn't work from the room for long zoom calls but you can go to the courtyard were it works perfectly.

If you'd like to mix in marrocan life, Riad Makech is your place. I enjoy the breakfast a mix of marocain and a bit of occidental food, and generous. The mint tea I could have it all day! The location is great and safe, being 5 min by foot from Jama El fana place were you could eat traditional food in restaurant but also street food for affordable prices. I loved it!

I stuck to my guns and only paid the 65€, so make sure you do your currency conversions to make sure everything is as what was told to you. As per with these old Moroccan buildings, the bathroom had a bit of a smell. but closing the door to the room helped and it was hardly noticeable.

The location is really convenient as can be reached quite near by the taxi, as well as a short walking distance to the main square. The pleasant common area of the riad. The helpfulness of the personnel. Although there was some delay with the taxi we ordered with them, we understand this is not the riad's fault anyway. On arrival we had some requests for changes of the bed and although the receptionist is not the one who does this work, he made it to our satisfaction. Next, they were very understanding and supportive when we needed help having diharrea, provided us with what was needed, which is an extra value for us, as travalers being away from home. We also ordered an excursion to Essaouira with them on the last minute and they served us early breakfast to be able to leave on time. So, the personal contact really won over all possible minor disadvantages of the riad.
Cons: There are no hooks to hang clothes or towels. There is no any chair in the room, although there is kind of a cuchet, not clear, holding people's weight, or for a bag... Actually the space of the room is quite limited, while the bathroom is spacious. The room doesn't really have a riad traditional decorations. It's also a bit uncomfortable that we don't have free access on the building and always have to ring the bell and wait for some time to have it open. However nothing of that didn't really spoil our experience of stay.

So does one of his new staff members who helped us carry our luggage all the way to another guesthouse which Said arranged as they were fully booked. Fatima is the maid and always kind / helpful with a smile on her face. This riad has 10 rooms and a rooftop terrace. The further up you go the lighter the rooms become. Pros: - Clean and white, crisp sheets. - Big breakfast we hardly could finish (bread, croissants, marmalade, tea, coffee, honey, yoghurt, olives, cheese,…) - Warm shower water in room 10. - Great beds - we slept 9 hours through. - Tour booking possible. - Fibreglass wifi worked great! - Cosy chill out area in the lobby and on the rooftop. - Close to Jamaa el Fna Square (500m) where you find the buzzing life of Marrakesh. - Carrefour supermarket is 12 mins walk (you can get cold beer there for 2,5€) - Opposite Riad Makech you have 2 convenient stores for basic needs and a street food stall selling „the best Harira soup“ in town (it was always busy)

My room was spacious and clean and each morning I was served a large breakfast that exceeded my expectations. Saïd recommended a tour to Essaouira which was very reasonably priced and a great little escape to the coast.
Cons: I found the bed a bit too firm, but that’s a personal preference

Breakfast was perfect and to much😜 we like all the food The owned hi is the best I like very much. Help all the time all the staff and owner is very hard to find people like them🤗.We will back for sure in this Riad in the central of old city very near everything don’t need to spend more money for taxi
