Nous avons séjourné au Ziad Manzal à quatre personnes et notre expérience a été exceptionnelle du début à la fin. Un immense merci à Hanane et Akram, qui ont été d’une gentillesse incroyable et toujours aux petits soins avec nous. Nous avons rencontré un petit souci avec notre chambre, mais grâce à Hanane et à la compréhension du manager Otmane, une solution rapide et efficace a été trouvée. Nous souhaitons également remercier chaleureusement Otmane pour la délicate attention : un magnifique bouquet de roses déposé devant notre chambre pour l’anniversaire de ma cousine. Un geste qui nous a profondément touchés. Le petit déjeuner sur le rooftop est tout simplement exceptionnel : délicieux, varié et très copieux, avec une vue superbe. Nous recommandons vivement ce Ziad, idéalement situé en plein cœur de la médina. Une adresse à ne surtout pas manquer ! Sabrina, Ilhem, Soraya et Linda.

First time I am writing review without anybody asking me to do it but I have to say Hanane and Akram were amazing. Me and my friend we travel a lot and we had some prejudices about service before arriving to Marrakech but we were amazed by helpfulness of them. If you want to know something, just ask them and they will arrange everything for you. Always in touch when you need them, no matter what time is it. Location in Medina was amazing, close to everything. Room was big enough, cleaned everyday. If you are looking for true experience and want to feel safe, go for it.

Never a fan of customer evaluations, but Hanane deserves the extra mention. He went beyond expectations. Loved the blend of the traditional decor modern minimalism. Breakfast at the rooftop

Fas tatilimizin en güzel konaklamasıydı diyebilirim. Otel fas standartlarına göre gayet güzel Oda çok geniş ve tepedeki işlemeler kral odalarını andırıyordu, eşyalar otantik, kahve makinası eklenmişti. Gitmeden yorumları okumuştum ve biraz endişem vardı fakat Oda temizdi ve çarşaf kalitesi(gayet güzeldi) ve yatak genişlikleri güzeldi, banyo yeni ve malzemeler kaliteliydi, sıcak su sorunu yaşamadık. Otantik olsun diye riad seçmiştik. Bu tarz yerler eskiyi dönüştürdüğü için ister istemez koku olur fakat burası gayet güzel yenilenmiş neredeyse hiç koku yoktu. İlk girdiğinizde çok hafif olur bu normal çünkü bu tarz evlerin genel kokusu bu. Banyo kokmuyordu.personel çok güler yüzlü ve yardımcı, Hanana, jevad ve ekram içten samimi ve sıcaklardı siz gelmeden msj atıyorlar sorunuz olursa sorabilirsiniz diye.Hanana sizi evinizde hissettiriyor, terasta hava çok güzeldi kahvaltı bizce gayet güzel ve yeterliydi hatta personel ikinci gün jest yapmış türk olduğumuz için peynir zeytin salatalık domates koymuştu kahvaltıda çok ince bir davranıştı. Başka bir müşteri için de doğum günü ayarlamışlardı. Otelin konumu efsane çık yürü her yere yakın tam eski şehrin kalbinde, tabi bunun dezavantajı da otele giden sokağın gece biraz ıssız ve dar sokak olması, bir de biz araç kiralamıştık fakat araçla otelin önüne gidemedik yollar çok dar ve kalabalık, biz de aracı çok yakın bir park alanına koyup valizleri ordan yürüttük, bizim için sorun olmadı fakat siz bunu düşünerek hareket edin. Otelin bulunduğu bölge eski medina yani çok nezih değil, bu tarz şeylere takılıyorsanız farklı bir bölge düşünebilirsiniz. Ama biz iki kızımızla hiç sorun yaşamadık güvenli geçti ve zaten kültür turu istiyorduk gezeceğimiz yerler çok yakındı buraya. Havuz kullanılıyor mu bilmiyorum bizim pek zamanımız yoktu fakat görüntü güzeldi. Otelin ışıklandırması loş ama bu fas genelinde var sanırım fransızlardan kalma bişey. Bize göre ışıklandırma daha iyi seçilseydi avlu daha güzel olabilirdi. Ama bu tamamen bir tercih.

Nothing was ever too much for them — they were incredibly friendly and helpful, and their service was truly outstanding, definitely a 10! We are two girls who had a lovely stay, and we really appreciated being safely taken to the taxi stand and picked up again — that was such a nice touch, even though Marrakech itself feels very safe.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. When Ifirst arrived, the manager himself came out to the street to greet me because cars can’t enter the alley leading to the riad.. he personally helped me with my luggage, which already says a lot about their hospitality. Even though I arrived early (around 10 a.m.) and check-in was at 3, they immediately welcomed me in and made sure I was comfortable. They even took the time to look through my travel itinerary and helped me adjust it, suggesting better routes and replacing some places they felt weren’t worth it anymore. I’ve never stayed anywhere that literally helps plan your trip for free. For a solo traveller like me, that kind of thoughtfulness means everything. The staff, Akram, Henan, and especially the manager Othman were beyond amazing. They made me feel safe and taken care of every single day. Whenever I needed to go out at night, someone would walk me to my taxi, and they’d always make sure someone was there to meet me when I came back, no matter how late it was. If I could give 100 stars, I really would. They truly went above and beyond in every way. I’d recommend this riad to anyone especially solo travellers, without hesitation. ❤️

J’ai passé 10 jours magnifiques dans ce riad ! L’accueil a été exceptionnel : le personnel est d’une gentillesse rare, toujours souriant, attentionné et prêt à aider à tout moment. Tout est très propre et parfaitement entretenu. Le service est irréprochable, et les petits déjeuners sont un vrai délice ! L’emplacement du riad est idéal, j’ai pu visiter pratiquement tout à pied. On s’y sent aussi en parfaite sécurité car il y a toujours du personnel présent, de jour comme de nuit. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour leur bienveillance, leur bonne humeur et leur sourire constants tout au long de mon séjour. Ils ont fait en sorte que je me sente chez moi du début à la fin ! We had a truly wonderful experience at Hotel Manzal. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Es war eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, mitten in der Stadt. Tolle Architektur und ein sehr schöner Innenhof. Das Personal sehr freundlich, hilfreich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war ein absoluter Traum. Wir können dieses Hotel nur empfehlen. Man wurde per WhatsApp kontaktiert. Auch die Suche nach einem Parkplatz wurde uns sofort mitgeteilt.

Property will be lovely when it’s not a building site! First room we stayed in was great although whoever stayed in third bed had direct sunlight flooding in and builders on roof could see through the windows. Staff were lovely especially akram and jawed but it became difficult for them due to the owner being so arrogant!

Cons: The way they treated us! When we arrived they said they wanted us to change rooms in a few days to try a new room they had just finished. We then found out our room wasn’t actually ready so they had put us in another. We had a day trip booked so went out for the day they wanted us to move when we returned they said we had no choice but to move rooms, we spoke to the owner who threatened to cancel our booking so we would have to leave. We moved as only had one night left! The room was filthy with wet plaster throughout which caused my sisters asthma to be bad at one point I had to sit outside due to no air, it was meant to be a room suitable for for I really would not recommend having children in this room due to the stairs. They tried to appease us by offering a bottle of champagne and a fruit plate! On leaving the owner messaged us to say they had lost £900 due to the other people (who’s room we were put in first) had cancelled due to us not moving on the day we had booked to go out. Communication was awful and we are making a formal complaint. I want to add staff were petrified we would make a bad review as they will not get a bonus at the end of the month and although this makes me feel bad I think it’s right others know! I also want to add there was building work throughout our stay which was loud and we were not allowed on the roof terrace.

Het personeel was zo ontzettend vriendelijk en lief. Ontzettend veel lof voor Hanane en het meisje van de housekeeping (ik weet haar naam niet), zij deden er alles aan om ons verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. De ligging is ook super, midden in de Medina, maar wel afgelegen genoeg om geen last te hebben van alle herrie op straat.

Cons: De harde bedden, het feit dat ze bezig waren met een renovatie waardoor het op het binnenplein bij het zwembad erg stoffig was, wat echt op je longen sloeg.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour. Le Riad est propre et bien équipé mais ce qui fait le plus de ce riad c’est vraiment le personnel. Hanan a été ADORABLE, aux petits soin. Nous ne l’oublierons pas. J’avoue que si nous n’avions pas été pris en charge par elle j’aurais mis une note plus basse (cf. Les bémols que je décris plus bas).

Cons: Les chambres sont conformes aux photos, mais l’ambiance / la « vibe » qu’on imagine quand on voit les photos des chambres n’est pas vraiment la même que celle qu’on ressent. La chambre est un couloir, c’est assez étriqué du coup on sent un peu d’inconfort. Il y avait des travaux donc ce n’est pas vraiment paisible.

Hvala puno Hannane i cijeloj ekipi na ovom ne zaboravnom iskustvu od organiziranja transporta do svih ostalih aktivnosti jako smo van zahvalni. Naš vozač dodjeljen od strane Riad Manzala također je bio fenomenalan. S ovim objektom nismo imali nikakvih problema ujedno smo i jako zadovoljni sa lokacijom koja je u samom centru Medine što nam je uveliko pomoglo kod kretanja do naših željenih destinacija. Sve u svemu jako ugodno iskustvo i nadam se da ćemo se u bliskoj budučnosti opet vidjeti.

Nuestra estancia en el Riad Manzal fue fantástica. Reservamos una habitación en media pensión para la familia (4 personas), estuvimos muy cómodos y descansamos mucho del los ajetreados días por la Medina. Todo estaba limpio, la atención de Hanane en especial, fue exquisita, pendiente de todos los detalles. El desayuno estaba delicioso y Hanane siempre estuvo atenta a nuestras necesidades. The staff were helpful and friendly. The accommodation was clean and well located. Akram was a fantastic host and very kind they do their upmost to satisfy your needs. Always on hand if anything was required. The market was located around the corner despite this it was a quiet location. I couldn't fault the staff or the location. The room decor was modern and up to date. Nice plunge pool and a roof terrace that allows you to view a beautiful sunset.

Cons: We travelled as a family of 3. There was an ample bed for myself and my husband. However, the bed for our son was rather on the small side for a nearly 6ft boy. There also was no separation between the bathroom and the bedroom other than a curtain that left gaps at both sides, so that wasn't ideal as you were able to see in, and noise also travelled out. We were given the apartment directly below the roof terrace, and unfortunately, this meant we were woken up every morning with numerous people climbing the stairs and the screeching of moving chairs, so that wasn't ideal. We would also recommend more bins in and around the Riad and apartment itself as there was only one small bin in the bathroom

The staff was incredibly kind, helpful and always attentive to any need we had. The room was spotless, very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast every morning was delicious and varied, with plenty of options to enjoy. The overall atmosphere of the Riad is calm and charming, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of visiting the city. Perfectly situated in the Medina, Riad Manzal offers a hidden place of tranquility—the perfect counterpoint to the intensity of the Medina. The moment you enter the long entrance hall, the summer heat and outside chaos melt away. But take advice from this seasoned traveler: What distinguishes Riad Manzal from the others is the world-class service offered by a young man named Akram. He and his brother take care of guests with great care and understanding. From the start, it was perfect—simple reassurances like being walked to the closest ATM were refreshing. And with more complicated issues (like having our business meeting rescheduled too closely our flight) our precise requirements for exit were efficiently and effectively coordinated by Akram and his brother. We could hardly believe it, but Akram not only orchestrated the timing with our driver, but personally escorted us—trailing our vehicle by Vespa—to the airport to make sure everything was smooth right up to the gate. This, my friends, is the difference between a place and an experience. And for the wise traveler, this is perhaps the reason we go out into the world in the first place.

Unacceptable Hygiene Conditions: Upon arrival, the bathroom was in a deplorable state, with visible urine and unflushed toilet paper in the toilet, dirty tap etc. Such conditions are entirely unacceptable, especially considering the premium price of over €100 per night. 2. Fire Alarm Malfunction: At 7:30 AM, a fire alarm in our room was triggered, causing a sudden and distressing wake-up. The staff was unaware of the alarm's presence, asked if it was our phone ringing (?) and we had to disable it ourselves. This lack of preparedness raises serious safety concerns. 3. Persistent Foul Odour: A strong sewage smell permeated the bathroom throughout our stay, significantly affecting our comfort and well-being. 4. Attempted Suppression of Review: Upon checkout, we discovered that our booking had been cancelled in your system, preventing us from leaving a review. This is UNACCEPTABLE and this action appears to be a deliberate attempt by the property to avoid accountability and suppress negative feedback. After raising our concerns and request for a compensation, the owner offered 35€/500€ spent but asked us to keep quiet and not post anything but we refused the money in order to warn all of you not to stay in such a bad riad. Integrity doesn’t have a price. Finally, the riad tried to cancel our booking so we couldn’t leave a review. Such a shameful behavior !

We had a truly wonderful stay. The hosts, Akram and Chouaib, were absolutely exceptional—genuinely warm, attentive, and constantly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. These young guys are truly what made this place special for us. When we arrived, for some reason, we were also upgraded for one night to a beautiful suite, which was a lovely touch that made our experience even more memorable. The Riad itself is charming, with a beautifully preserved original structure. It blends traditional Moroccan character with simple, elegant decor that creates a calm and refined atmosphere. It’s also ideally located—peaceful yet within easy reach of the Medina’s vibrant streets.

The staff was phenomenal in helping us with everything we needed and more. Akram and Chouaib went above and beyond at every opportunity. The beds were very comfortable and location was fantastic. Easily accessible to everything but a bit of the main market streets so it was quiet at night.

Cons: The building was clean and had beautiful details. Our room (family room for 4) was very unique with awesome Moroccan wooden details and I would stay again without a doubt. The staff made it well worth it, but it would have been nice to feel a little more privacy in our room as our doors opened right into the central garden/check-in area.

Such a lovely Riad! We had the most amazing time, the location was great and the rooftop was beautiful! Our trip was made perfect by Akram and Aziz, both of whom were so helpful with organising activities and we loved chatting to Aziz and getting his recommendations for Marrakesh all of which were wonderful!

The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. The manager tried very hard to make our stay comfortable.

Cons: The two rooms we had were broom cupboards and not fit for renting out. We were upgraded for two nights out of the 5 and this was a normal room that you would expect. Having stayed in various riads over the years this one does need to look at providing better accommodation. The manager was very helpful. The breakfast uses very cheap products and nothing like we have experienced before.

This Riad is situated inside the Medina in a strategic area, you can reach the taxi station in the plaza in less than two minutes and 20min to walk by Jemaa el-Fnaa plaza, very close to the new city. Breakfast was fresh every morning, the hospitality and the enviromental were very welcoming thanks to the staff.

The staff was great and very welcoming, and really do their best to make your stay the best experience. Thanks to the manager Othman and our host Zaki, he learned us a lot about the city and general moroccon culture and history. We had a great time.

I really loved the hotel’s location. We ordered from their in-house dining menu, and the food was delicious. Later, we went to the club, and the receptionist even arranged a private car for us, which made everything so much easier.

Our stay here with our family with young kids was like a dream - incredible. The team at this property go above and beyond to anticipate and meet your every need. They were expertly attentive and always there to help and improve our stay. The location is central in the Medina (old town) which makes it a great launching place to get the Marrakech vibes that you are looking for, but despite this central location, within the walls of the Riad is your own quiet stunning oasis. Othman and the team are really amazing at making your stay tailored to your needs. For us, they organised a New years eve private dinner at short notice (hours) on the rooftop and even surprised us with entertainment. My son broke his glasses on the trip and within two hours they had organised replacement glasses for him. It's that type of care that means you can spend every moment just enjoying yourself. An incredible stay - would recommend to anyone. Better than a 5 star hotel.

Cons: As with everything in the Marrakech medina - things are hard to find as the streets are all walking only and it is labyrinthine. Contact the team before you arrive and they'll help you organise transport or someone to meet you so you don't get lost like us!

The Riad Manzal is in the perfect location, in the Medina but just off the main streets so it’s quiet at night. The Riad itself is beautiful with original wooden doors and painted ceilings from c.300 years ago. Our host Othman was the most hospitable and accommodating manager and did everything in his power to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. From booking restaurants to arranging taxis, flexible checkout, breakfast requests, sourcing beer and wine, even leaving early gray tea in our rooms when we expressed a desire for it at breakfast the morning before. The rooftop eating and lounging area was so comfortable in the mornings and evenings with live music at breakfast and drinks at sunset. Overall we had an amazing time at the Riad Manzal and would definitely go back when we visit Marrakech again!

It’s a hidden gem, when your outside the property you wouldn’t expect to find what’s waiting for you on the inside. The interior is in keeping with the Moroccan tradition, but at the same time it is modern and tastefully designed. Very spacious, clean and has everything from towels, toiletries, hairdryers and ironing facilities. The breakfast is traditional and delicious.

Cons: I can’t say there was anything that I didn’t like.

The property in general is very clean and well maintained. The rooms have sufficient light and are very spacious. Youserre was extremely helpful and supportive throughout our stay. He went out his way on numerous occasions, and would even walk us to our destination and help me plan our trips. He has a lovely demeanor, is warm and is very welcoming! He took his time out to explain the history of Morroco and answered all our questions :) In summary, I would highly recommend staying in this Riad if you stay in Marrakech! It is in the heart of the Medina.

Riad manzal it'a just beautiful, very modern and central. The pictures totally correspond to the reality. The riad is located right in the center of the medina. Othman was very helpful and gave us good tips on things to see and do.

Cons: The riad is very modern, but we found some parts of the toilette in the room that were broken. Some maintenence work would make the Riad perfect.

The property was very large and spacious so there was plenty of room for our party of 7 people. The pictures really do not do it justice for how grand and beautiful it is - The terrace and pool area were especially beautiful. Each room is unique and has its own bathroom. Breakfast is provided on the roof terrace where there is both a table and couch area to relax. Finding the riad is quite easy - its ideally located both in the medina close to shops and a very short distance from where the taxi/car drop off point is - something that is quite rare in the Medina. The host Othmane was especially polite and helpful. He was ready to provide information on places to go out, sites to see and also ready to help organise any transfers or taxis at any point in time. He also speaks English and French perfectly. Overall we loved our stay in this beautiful Riad and would definitely recommend to any family or group of friends traveling together!

Cons: The lady who makes breakfast was very polite and helpful, but only spoke French & Moroccan, so it was impossible to communicate in English.
