What a friendly, honest place, great price-quality, in a clean place with breakfast. Easy location to find even at 1 am! And 24hrs open. I stayed twice already : ) They went beyond expectations. They got a specific bread that I was looking for me to bring back. Many hotels don t even bother and they are just a hostel! Took my time to write this as it was worth to stay : ) My experience: Warm welcome, got a bed in a space 4 bedroom. There was clean bedding. Seen other places very cramped. There is a big wood box where I could fit my backpack. You can lock and I took my lock to the trip. Thee are also hangers and by your bed a plug socket for your electric devices. Simple and efficient room. You can get a towel for cheap but I had my own. The bathroom were clean at all times. Have seen them cleaning salty, but I guess I was lucky as well with the people staying at the moment as they did not left the bathroom dirty after them selfs. So all helped. It was really nice not to have to cook breakfast and have ready, tea plus coffee, with milk if you wanted. 2 different breads, jam and butter. Plus a boiled egg. The breakfast area is on the terrace, there are 2 areas (upper and lower). The smokers were going to the upper part not disturbing the others on the lower part. I was happy that there was no pool, as I belive that would bring noise to the place. When you would like to find something, a service or to know a local price they are honest about it. I really appreciated that.

Spacious room. A room size can fit six bunk beds that only put four and with AC in female dorm. Each floorr has two toilet with showers all newly decorated very clean with hot water and good water pressure. tomorrow of the AC inside the room you can adjust the adequate temperature.
Cons: There no sign outside the Hostel ,you can only hear the alarm of the door as it will not close completely. You just follow the sound and push to open the door. It's no.10 of the street no. A old Spanish speaking woman stayed in my room who try to Switch off the AC. And kept the AC remote in her upper bunk bed ( she broke the curtain bar in the lower bed, so she moved up), and refuse to put on the blanket that hostel provide and try to set the temperature to 30 degree for the AC. . The AC was off at such temperature. The Riad design for ground floor room has no Window facing externally, only face internal . Once switch off the AC means that there is no oxygen in the room. At last she set the temperature to 28 degree after 2.30am while other ppl slept in the room. I woke up due to the room being too hot at 5am. Don't have good sleep at all. Just share the experience, I like this hostel very much. So well communicate with other traveler if possible. If you can't stand for AC, book one without AC or private room. Be fair to other travelers.

Mein beste Unterkunft während meines Marrakesch Aufenthalts.

This hostel is a gem! Very well located and easy to find inside the Medina. Youssef was an amazing host, always helping when I needed and providing the best service. The breakfast is simple but enough (coffee, milk, tea, mermen, butter, fromage, jam, honey, bread and boiled egg). Wifi worked really well (I work remotely and didn't have a problem at all). The hostel is overall clean, enough bathroom for everyone and always clean. The terrace has a nice view as well! I didn't use the kitchen to cook, just made some toast but from what I could see you have everything you need to cook a simple meal.
Cons: I think a deep clean inside the rooms would be nice, and also a shelf for the top beds to put phones, earplugs etc (a book from the woman on the top bed fell on my in the middle of the night because there's no were to leave it when you sleep).

The hostel had a very friendly atmosphere. It was quite and calm for beeing inside the medina. Rooms were spacious and cleen and the rooftop was nice with two floors. The hostel maneger was very friendly and generous with all his knowledge of both marrakech, moroccan culture and life in general. We missed our train and he helped us creating a new and much better plan for transport the next day - and we got to stay another night. Definitely the best little place in morocco.

The beds are comfy, and the WiFi is super reliable - I worked remotely from there one day without any issues. The breakfast is fantastic and generous. Plus, the location is perfect - right in the heart of the Medina, but still close to the exit and parking for tour vans. I'm giving it a solid 10/10 - highly recommend!

I stayed here and honestly – I was so impressed! Everything was super clean and tidy, and the beds were incredibly comfortable – perfect for a good night's sleep. The location is spot on, close to the city center and ideal if you’re planning any tours – agencies can easily pick you up right outside. The staff were amazing – super friendly and really made an effort to make me feel at home. Breakfast was great, always fresh and tasty. The breakfast of a hard-boiled egg, bread, jam, butter, tea, coffee, warm milk is good. The staff is responsive for helping you, great value and location. There was no AC at the time but the cool air got into the hostel at night making it okay. Very close to anything you need, corner shop, atm, pharmacy, restaurant. When I had to leave early the staff gave me the breakfast food the night before (the bread was hot and it included a hard boiled-egg). Cleaning was done frequently, bathrooms were in good condition. The foot lockers are good for storing your belongings during the day. The outlet and light next to your head on the top bunk is a good feature.
Cons: I got really sick while staying here, not sure why. It may have been unrelated to anything or anyone in the hostel. I didn't like that it was dead silent, no fan or AC and some guy snored LOUD, not the property's fault, I put on wind sounds or used earbuds. As for the property's downside, sometimes you have to wait for the staff to come back to the hostel to help you, even if you text beforehand that you are arriving. But this is not a long wait, only a small problem.

Very comfortable bed, spacious room with big storage bin for each person, a little small but always clean bathrooms, and the most wonderful terrace with a great breakfast every morning. Location was great, too — energetic but not crazy, felt safe, close to some great/cheap places to eat. The staff were so helpful and kind, and the little cat that sometimes hangs out on the terrace was a bonus!
Cons: Wifi could be a bit spotty, especially at night. Also, the airport shuttle offered was a bit expensive — booking a private taxi a few days in advance was nearly half the price! Other than that, the stay was really wonderful.

Great location, very friendly staff (fluent English and French), nice breakfast and nice ambience. Showers and facilities were very clean. The staff member was waiting in the street when i arrived, because the entrance is a bit hard to find. The beds were good and there was strong wifi everywhere. The PIKILA cycling tours are just a few streets away (recommended!!). The lock was provided and the locker was very big.
Cons: The hostel is 'hidden' in a side street and not indicated on the door, so a bit hard to find, even with Google Maps. Luckily the staff member was waiting for me in the main street. It's a hostel, so you share a room and will need to know that some of the other guests may arrive late (or leave early) and some may make noise during the night.

Guys, if you are about to visit Marrakech and looking for a place to stay, my personal recommendation is El Boussouni. Clean and good looking rooms with wide and comfortable beds. Recently renovated toilets. Breakfast on the roof top with amazing view of atlas mountains, singing birds and warming sunlight. Stuff at the hostel is very service minded and will provide you any information needed. Much appreciated. Best regards
Cons: I honestly, have nothing negative to mention neither about accomodation itself or service provided by hostel stuff.

I stayed for only one night, but I can totally recommend the Hostel! Youssef is a great host, very welcoming and helpful. The room is quiet and the beds are comfortable. Everything is very clean. The breakfast on the rooftop was also very good. The location is amazing, right in the Medina but still easy to find. You just step out of the door and start exploring!

Lovely hostel! Youssef has clearly been working hard to create a great hostel experience - and is looking to improve it still. I enjoyed the quietness and cleanliness of the rooms and shared spaces. Breakfast was very filling and tasty. Youssef goes above and beyond for his guests (he took us to purchase a well priced tajine), this really adds to the comfort and safe feeling of the hostel. Would stay here again and would recommend to friends if they were headed to Marrakesh.

The terrace is nice but not amazing. The location is pretty close to the center. The room is quite spacious.
Cons: It wasn't easy to find. There is no sign or number on the door and the receptionist was not there when I arrived (and not even when I left). The room was ok but not really clean the floor. The breakfast was improvised and eaten with cats jumping on chairs and table. And the terrace is also not treated very well. They don't organize any social activity or something to create interaction.

Youssef was the best host I have met in the 5 months I have traveled so far. He is generous, knowledgeable, kind, sincere, helpful, caring, and so engaging to have a conversation with… He helped with attractions reservations; he advised about where to go, what to see, what to look out for. I could go on and on. On the day I was leaving, he insisted on carrying my luggage all the way to where I needed to go. The hostel was clean and once inside, the hustle and bustle of lively Marrakesh was left behind. I slept like a baby! Breakfast was plentiful, and Youssef made the best coffee. The meeting point for transportation in the Medina (the old city) was less than 3 minute walk away.

Amazing hostel to spend some chill time in marrakesh, close to the bus/shared taxi station! Rooms are big and comfortable, toilets are brand new, daily cleaning, there's a very nice terrace where a filling breakfast is served every morning. The manager is very welcoming and does everything to ensure you have a good time. Highly recommended!

I don't understand why this place does not have 10/10 rating. It's centrally located. Guys working there are amazing - they waited for me despite my late arrival. The price includes breakfast that looked like a 50dhs breakfast that I ate just next doors. it's a quiet place despite being located in old medina full of tourists. Its super clean - cleaning late made the beds for pple that were staying longer even when they did not check out!

Surprinsingly spacious and modern building. Kind welcome (in a dedicated office!). Good bunk beds and matresses. Good breakfast. Lockers. Near the bus station (so a little far from the famous place, but you can't have both!
Cons: The noise: I was a bit unlucky because a group of girls kept talking at night on the terasse and noise echoes through the building.

The perfect place for my last night in Morocco... I only had one night here, but couldn't have chosen a better place to stay before flying out. The place is recently renovated, including bathrooms, of which there are plenty for the space... comfortable beds (albeit a little high up on the top bunk) and spacious, clean, rooms. Check-in was easy Youssef quickly provided all the information I needed about Marrakesh before flying out early the next day. He printed my boarding pass (as required for all airports in Morocco), booked my taxi and even saw me off at 5:30am with a small breakfast bag in hand... super nice, genuine and helpful... I left Morocco with a smile on my face. Many thanks, I will return!
Cons: Maybe a sign on the door (and doorbell) outside, but if I'd looked at the address I would have seen the number... so me being lazy... aside from that, all is perfect.

Definitely recommend! Facilities - The dorms are very spacious and equipped with your own padlocked storage, lights & power outlet. Beds are very comfortable and you're provided with a sheet and a big blanket. The bathrooms are definitely a highlight, very modern and clean with really powerful showers. The hostel has a space on every floor to kick back and relax leaving a good chance to interact with fellow travellers. The rooftop terrace is also a lovely little spot to enjoy the sunshine and take a break from the mayhem of the streets outside! Location - Absolutely fantastic locations for the majority of spots in Marrakech. There's a pickup location for all tours only 3 minutes walk away. Loads of fantastic restaurants and cafes (including veggie and vegan spots) within a 5 minute walk both directions. It's only a 20 minute walk towards the Jardin Majorelle and all the other main attractions in Marrakech are about 10 minutes away on foot. Bonus spot is that if you take the bus from the airport this hostel is only a 10 minute walk from where you get dropped off (Bab Doukkala) Staff - Although the cleaner only spoke Arabic she was extremely friendly and smiley, also offered me a coffee when I was relaxing on the rooftop. Youssef was fantastic, extremely polite and helpful. Answered all of my questions and helped day and night to make everything as smooth as possible. As I say, a great hostel which is more than worth the money.

The hostel is well located, close to the centre but inside is really quiet, which I like . It’s spacious, clean and pretty. There are 2 bathrooms in each floor, perfectly functional. There is also common areas in the floors and a nice terrace on the top. This hostel is not for many guests so it keep it quiet and easy to stay in. The receptionist was super nice . No complains at all :)

Youssef the manager was the nicest person I've met on my travels around Morocco. Such a genuinely lovely person, extremely helpful. If I were looking for anyone to run a business for me or anyone else I would definitely recommend him. He went way beyond just being professional. Youssef is a really kind man, and will do everything in his capacity to help you. It was a decently sized and clean room for two people, and it's worth getting your private room instead of the 4-sharing one. The breakfast was really nice and having breakfast at the terrace is a plus point. The hostel seemed recently renovated, safe, silent and comfortable. The location is inside the medina, and is not far away from the main souk and plaza.
Cons: The room or the bathroom wasn't cleaned for the three nights that we stayed there. There are two shared bathrooms between six people, and the other guests were really not respectful or mindful about the cleanliness which made our experience bad. Clear instructions to the guests sharing the bathroom and routine cleaning would make the rating go up to 10. The single beds were a bit narrow for our liking.

Everything was very cool, a very pleasant host, always in touch, helping, many thanks for that! There is a Moroccan style breakfast, it starts somewhere at 9 in the morning, but when we had an early check-out, the host gave us food in the evening and left coffee in a thermos on the veranda - it was very, very pleasant, because before 9 o'clock it's unlikely you can buy anything for a snack anywhere, everything opens late here. It was clean, comfortable, toilet and bath on the floor. We were there in September and it turned out to be low season, there were few guests, so it was comfortable to use everything. You can hear very clearly when someone is talking in the dryad, but outside noise is not particularly audible. A very nice place, we would stay there again.

I had a wonderful time here! Youssef is amazing. He is so kind, generous and helpful. He makes this place extra special. I loved the rooftop and terrace area, especially at night when it cools down. The hostel is walking distance to the different souks but on a quiet street. It's nice to come back to you when you want to rest, refresh and find calm. I came during low season so it was quiet and chill, but there are opportunities to meet others at breakfast or in the evening if you do want to socialize.
Cons: Nothing really just a small suggestion to add some umbrellas to the top level terrace so we can use it during the day, to avoid the strong sun :)

The place itself was in a central location making it easy to access the most important parts of the city. The facilities were also well maintained with clean rooms and bathrooms. -The room I stayed in was very spacious and had high ceilings. Although there was no window facing the outside, it was not stuffy at all. -The large wooden locked chests were very useful. -The location was close to the airport bus stop, Jardin Majorelle and Jemaa El Fna. I felt safe even walking alone late in the evening. -The staff was always there with excellent tips about the city. A special thank you to Yassir.
Cons: -There could have been a sign on the door showing the name of the hostel. I had to walk up and down the street at least 2 times to find it. -The blankets on the beds could have been covered with duvet covers. It was not hygienic enough as it was.

The hostel is greatly located 10 min walking from the heart of the Medina. It is cosy and quiet, and one of the cheapest options you'll find. Decent breakfast, comfy rooftop, very very comfortable beds. It's the only place I found with the option of only 4 beds per room, and separate male and female dormitories. And the best perk is that you'll get to meet the property's manager, Youssef - the heart and soul of this place, the nicest, kindest, most helpful person you'll ever meet.
Cons: The architecture of the building doesn't allow windows towards the exterior, at least not on the ground floor. The only openings are toward the central/entrance lobby, and you close them during the night which can make the rooms a bit stuffy and airless while sleeping. There's one full bathroom per floor, and these could be cleaner, but Youssef is doing the best he can on his own, plus he's trying to get the owners to split the toilet area from the shower area, so fingers crossed!

Very close to medina and the local attractions. The room is spacious and has a very huge locker for each bunk bed (that could probably fit a medium-sized baggage). The rooms and toilet are kept clean every day. They even have the basic toiletries and a hairdryer too. There's also a terrace which has a pretty good view for breakfast. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to try the breakfast. If you are interested in tours, they have a very transparent pricing paste at the entrance. The receptionist , Mr Youssef, was really nice and quick to respond to your request. He even accommodated my luggage for extra nights without extra charges.
Cons: You might find some review that says that it does not have a proper signage, which is true but I don't find it a problem. Just follow google map and look for no.10 el boussoni st. There's only 1 bathroom each floor. So, you need to time yourself early just in case you are in a rush. There's no air-condition in the room, so it can get pretty stuffy if all your roommates decided to shut the window tight. Thankfully they have another windows with holes, so they are neither too hot or cold in april.

My three-night stay at El Boussouni Hostel was a vibe! The location was spot-on, just a quick walk from the lively Medina—perfect for soaking up all that Moroccan goodness. Let's talk breakfast—it was legit! Traditional Moroccan eats that hit the spot every morning. A real treat to start the day right. Big shoutout to Yousef—he was the man! Super chill, always there to help out. Even hooked me up with his crew, Ayoub and Hamad, who were legends in their own right. Oh, and cleanliness? On point! The rooms and toilets were kept spick and span, which is a big plus in my book. So yeah, if you're after a laid-back Moroccan experience with awesome vibes and even better hospitality, El Boussouni Hostel is where it's at. Highly recommend!"

The Host Youssef is amazing! Rarely met such a kind guy while travelling, he does his best to ensure a pleasant stay and is available nearly 24/7. All in all I would definetely recommend the Hostel!
Cons: What you should know though is that you have to be very careful with false guides in the streets there. I, as well as other guests, made the experience that they approach you saying they work for the city Marrakech and that they guide you to your hostels withouth taking money for it. In reality, they lead you in a dark alley and try to intimidate you so that you give them money. So if they approach you, just ignore and especially don’t follow them!

I had an excellent stay at El Boussouni. However what really made the stay excellent was there amazing hospitality of Youssef. He went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The guy really deserves a raise, he was there ALL DAY, EVERYDAY! Lol For a solo female traveler I would recommend this place to other travelers. Easy to meet people, comfortable and easy to organize Also the rooftop is lovely! Make sure to eat your breakfast up there!

Great location, terrace and large rooms. Youssef was helpful.
Cons: I think there's only one room for showers. Perhaps have a drying rack for clothes?

I was a bit nervous about travelling to Marrakesh on my own and Youseff made me feel so welcome and relaxed. He voicenoted beforehand and organised an airport transfer, he wa there to greet me when I arrived. I had to change the dates of my stay at the last minute and he refunded me the two nights I missed eventhiugh he didn't need to. He gave me good advice of how to get to the main square and even showed me how to prepare my own breakfast when I had to leave really early. He is truely an incredible host and a wonderful person. The location is really peaceful and a straight forward 20 minute walk into the Medina, there is a lovely roof terrace where you can watch the sunrise and the rooms are a very good size and the beds really comfy. The WiFi is great and the showers are hot, I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much 😊
Cons: Nothing ♥️

Youssouf and his sister will take care of you like you are family, he came and got me from the principal road to the hostel, explained everything, showed me the terrace and where the sun rises. Unfortunately it was meant to be raining the next day (barely rained lately so it was a god sent for the land and people 🙏🏻) He kept my luggage the day if my checkout so I could explore. Breakfast is simple but good and served on the terrace, orange juice would be nice, and an alternative to cow milk for intolerances other than that it was perfect 🫶🏻 Bear in mind that it's been open for 2 months so adjustments will happen, youssouf is open to new ideas. Bed, pillows and blankets are brand new and extremely comfy. Also good to know that we don't hear the call for prayer too loud based on our location so you can sleep in 😊
Cons: The fact that I only stayed one night, it was too short 😂

The most comfortable beds I’ve slept in, in a hostel, in a long time. So appreciative of a proper pillow and extra heavy blankets. Room and bathroom are very spacious. Breakfast on the terrace was cute. Staff very friendly. + Many good cheap food options nearby.
Cons: Bathroom floor could have used an extra clean but I also had the last shower of the day.

We appreciated the hospitality Youssef (the staff) gave to us. He was really welcoming and such a genuine person. He gave us lots of good recommendation of what to do in Morocco. The hostel is really nice and it is located just before the center (which is good as it is not really busy). The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was really good.
Cons: It was tricky to use the shower as the water temperature was not stable, it could get really hot or cold, nothing in between. There was no sign of the hostel in front of the building, which was also really tricky and could lead people surrounding to fall into "try to help you but then ask for money" scene. We recommend you to text the hostel when you are about to arrive so they can bring you to the hostel safely.

The Riad itself is very welcoming and cosy, it feels like you're in a home on holiday, with all the facilities you would need. It is in a great location in the Medina. Youssef is incredible at his job, extremely kind and welcoming, always curious about your adventures that day and making you feel very well cared for. Was the perfect person to meet on our first time to Morocco.
Cons: We honestly can't complain about anything.

Youssef was super nice and helpful. I forgot my purse in the taxi and he helped me find it. He is always there if you need anything. The beds are comfortable and the situation of the hostel is perfect, 10 minutes walking from the medina. The neighborhood is safe, and so it is the whole city. It has an amazing rooftop where you can eat breakfast and enjoy the sunrise. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

Youssef is working really hard to make this new hostel a success. He is a friendly, courteous and helpful person in every possible way. He helped me book tours, gave me info about the city, and even brought me medicine when I was unfortunate to spend the whole of the last day of my trip unwell. I stayed in the 6 bed dorm and it is spacious and the beds are comfortable, with thick, warm blankets. The water is piping hot and the whole hostel is very clean. Location is good too - just 10 mins from the bus station where you can catch the bus to the airport, and not far from the centre of the medina. On a narrow side street meaning none of the noise of the main street reaches the hostel. 100% recommend you stay here and I hope the hostel continues growing and being more and more successful
Cons: I reckon more could be done with the roof terrace - add some sofas or something to make it a nice chill out/socialising zone

The experience in El Boussoni was amazing! I am very thankful to the staff of the hostel, especially Youssef Manassir, who assisted me throughout my stay in the hostel. The hostel was very clean and comfortable, with a delicious breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. The room was cleaned once every two days. The whole hostel is nice, cozy, and clean, with clean bathrooms. The hostel is located in the middle of Medina, the old part of Marrakesh, right next to the Sulk (antique market) and is highly recommended for tourists to experience authentic Moroccan culture. At the end of the stay i got sick and Youssef helped me with medicine, stayed with me and assisted me to get a cap to airport. We also made culinary classes in hostel to try to make moroccan food together and had very nice conversations with staff and hostel customers. Also nice to notice that breakfast is taken on a nice terrace with a beautiful view.
Cons: everything was great
