No breakfast included intentionally. Good location, but far enough away from main roads to be quiet.
Cons: Wi-Fi occasionally silently dropped out and recovered without assistance. Hot water extremely slow (suspect long pipes) and splashing into toilet area. Arranged pickup only resolved after having to call property. Contact number on Booking.com confirmation incorrect. Needed to search separately to reach property.

Fomos quatro adultos - 2 casais amigos. Reservámos dois quartos com casa de banho privativa e em regime de meia pensão (pequeno almoço e jantar, bebidas não incluídas). Contratámos transfere que correspondeu às nossas expectativas. À saída do aeroporto estavam à nossa espera. Excelente localização do Riad.

The riad is at a really good location, it is in the medina, however, it is not close to the noisy part of it. We had a spacious room with a bathroom, both looked really nice and traditional. The breakfast was plenty and diverse, but mostly sweet things (some kind of pastry, butter, jams, omelette), and we got mint tea, coffee or orange juice as well. Diana welcomed us at arrival and made sure we were comfortable throughout. Special thanks to Medjit who made us delicious tea and food, and kept us company. He was genuinely so kind and had a smile on his face whenever he saw us. Shukran!
Cons: The only theing we did not like was that the pillows were too hard and the beds were not so comfortable.

Cons: We booked 2 nights and were told only after arriving that there was a problem with our room and we were being moved to another Riad 15 minutes away for the first night. We were given no option of having our money refunded so we could book somewhere else of our choosing. The Riad we were taken to was of a much lower standard that what we booked. We spoke to the manager Dyana the next day to ask for a partial refund for the first night. She flatly refused because she claimed she had incurred costs of putting us in a different Riad so she shouldn't have to compensate us - even though she agreed that where she had taken us was of a much lower standard.

Perfect Riad for what we wanted. Great location a couple of turns from a busier Medina street. Nice and peaceful, spacious room with an incredibly comfortable bed. Hair dryer and lovely toiletries provided. Breakfast was an absolute feast and all delicious, provided by really friendly people. They even brought us a packed breakfast the night before we had an early start which was lovely. The staff were also super helpful in letting us keep our bags at the riad whilst we went for a hike in the atlas mountains. Definitely recommend staying here!
Cons: Nothing to dislike!

The receptionists Diana and Aziz.
Cons: If you contact Aziz, make sure you do in French, b/c if you ask in English (like I did) about parking he says "OK" and so on, while the instructions about parking in their listing are only in French...It caused us an aggravation b/c as we were driving on the worst street (most probably) in the Marakesh medina, Rue El Gza, we tried to get closer to the riad on a side street (following google maps), without realizing that we HAD to park on the main street (El Gza), which we eventually did and were a bit extorted by person who helped us carry our suitcases in cart... Other than this minor detail, everything was great, especially the staff (Diana, Aziz and the kitchen ladies) : )

We had a short but great stay at the riad, all the staff were very friendly. We were 3 friends sharing and the room was very spacious and decorated beautifully. The internal courtyard was lovely and peaceful. The rooms face the central courtyard but there was no problem with noise. We didn't spend much time on the rooftop but it is a big space with a lovely covered area.
Cons: The bathroom door wouldn't close properly

The breakfast was a typical Moroccan breakfast, to which you can ask for a supplement to your liking. The interior of the riad was beautiful and clean. The riad was located in a quiet place, but the guests staying in the riad made noise until more than midnight, which was a shame. Room-specific air conditioning is a great thing. The staff really friendly, although the English language is not strong.
Cons: In a riad, there could be a time for silence so that everyone can get a good night's sleep. Breakfast 8:30 a.m. is little too late. If you order an airport transfer, you should make sure of it, for example. the night before..

We did not regret our intuitive choice to book a room for a week's stay at this place in a walking distance from the main historical sights of Marrakech. Kind and helpful staff provides guests with take-away breakfast on request for early sightseeing trips. It is possible to enjoy a roof terrace.

The Riad is nice and the common areas are confortable
Cons: The staff was really not the most welcoming. The room “twin with private bathroom” has zero privacy, really uncomfortable bedding and no light, the pictures do not represent at all the reality. We had to chase after the staff to give us back our change from the check in. They ended up giving the change to the wrong guests… quite a challenge, especially when the hotel has only 5 or 6 rooms…

A little hidden gem in the middle of the Media. Staff is going above and beyond to help you, always with a smile. The cooking is exceptional and I ended up eating there every night. Once you have found your sense of orientation all is good. The maps of Marrakesh are a lousy support and you get easyly list and thus an easy target for the hustlers. I used map.me after the 1stday and all was well. On my last day, theylet me use the room up til the end with no extra charge as my return flight was only in the early evening. Make sure you orderyour airport grandfer with them, any other driver will just drop you and it's still a little walk with no signs inside the Medina to get to the Riad. I wokld stay there again.

the road is very cute and the breakfast changed both of the days we stayed there. the room was big and the bed comfortable. the location of the road is around 20min to the main square, but you have some shops nearby. breakfast is served from 8.30 till 10.30 and the last day we had to leave at 8.30. They served us the breakfast earlier so we could eat before. that was a very nice touch.
Cons: the bathroom stinks. it’s funny that we are in a country full of patchouli and incense, and there’s none in the bathroom to reduce the piping smell. Theres few soaps, but they are not labelled so you don’t know which one is for what. And, the toilet is covered with a plastic cover, that we found quite uncomfortable and unpleasant. there was no pillow to sleep, only decorative cushions. you can’t throw the toilet paper to the toilet, but to a basket next to it. it would be quite more hygienic if it was a bin with a cover.

Very helpful, the owner speaks fairly good English. Beautiful riad and rooms. Very peaceful. Good central location, although some might find it hard to locate? Google Maps works fine for it, but the very narrow streets between high buildings can make GPS readings less accurate. But I suspect this applies to most riads in the Medina. The simple doorway off the narrow street belies the beauty and serenity of the riad. It is lovely! Highly recommended.
Cons: None - apart from, perhaps, by the time we took a very late shower, others had finished the hot water.

This little riad gave our trip its calm notes. Every day after walking around the bustling town in the heat and noise, we couldn't wait to get back to the quiet space. Abdul, the owner and the rest of the staff made our stay friendly and comfortable. Food was exceptional, and service even more so, while the common patio was welcoming and cosy. Nothing fancy, nothing over the top, but really felt like home.
Cons: The neighborhood is not the best, but it is very central, so was easy to get around.

Abdul and the staff are excellent! Breakfast is always good. Heater in the room works very well. Bed was comfortable enough. Even being on the first floor, it was quiet (guests were respectful). Walking to the Medina takes about 15 minutes. Hands down the best chicken Tajin we had! Greet the staff with a smile and they will always make your day brighter!
Cons: The riad is so inside a maze it would be hard to find it on your own. Best to ask for a pickup from your host so they can help you on your first day. It also rained hard on our first day so bedroom got flooded being on the ground floor. No problem bcz host moved us to a different room. They cleaned our room and we moved back again after one night.

Check-in has already been an adventure, since the Townhouses/Riads in the Medina are not accessible by car, due to the very narrow passages between the housing facades. But, as soon as the taxi--which I took from the airport, right after arriving shortly after 10 PM---stopped at the intersection "Rue lamsouber", a couple of kids were running towards me and asked for the name of my designated Riad. This is not being done out of sheer courtesey, but for some kids an existential necessity, because they depend on the (10-20) Dls they are getting for that service. Once I arrived close to 11 PM, I was cordially greeted and directed to my room at the basement/patio level with the entrance door facing the light-flooded patio. Although I had booked breakfast only, the wonderful staff served snacks and tea several times at different hours. Once I walked out for the major sightseeings of the medina, I aquainted myself with the surroundings and realized that there was a bus station near the double-arc entrance gate of the medina, so that I had chosen that bus station for my ensuing trip to the beautiful coastal town of Essaouira. At night it was pretty chilly in Marrakesh, due to the elevation of that attractive city, but during the daytime it warmed up to 22 °C in the early part of March.
Cons: You need to be prepared to shower with relatively cold water, since that was the only water emerging from the mixer-type faucets. A TV in the general area would perhaps be a good idea, for those watching the news, etc.

But once you find it, it’s quite simple to get to a from the Souk’s and Medina. Great, great experience.

The staff was extremely kind and attentive. They spoke many languages and helped in everything. Our room and bathroom was clean and beautiful. The breakfasts were sweet and nice. We also had dinner once at the riad and it was the most delicious food that we ate in Marrakesh. I especially liked the rooftop, it was very cozy.

Riad Dar Mamouni is a bit hidden within the walls of the medina, but is a beautiful example of a small, traditional, cosy Moroccan hotel. We have experienced a very warm welcome, the host was very helpful but not intrusive at all. The building itself in very good condition with an absolutely wonderful breakfast room which is located in the inner courtyard where the tall date palm tree proudly grows. A large roof terrace with soft cushions is also for guests' use.
Cons: The only thing to improve, in my opinion, is the non-practical mirror above the sink in the bathroom, installed with the weird angle, but this is rather a small thing to complain of.
