We stayed at The Little Hara for a few days and had such a wonderful experience. The riad itself is so beautiful and well maintained. The staff are so friendly and were always there for us, offering us mint tea. Breakfast was honestly the best breakfast we've had on holidays. We got to try lots of different Moroccan food and the service was impeccable. The location of the riad itself is PERFECT and so central to museums, gardens, restaurants, etc. I will definitely stay here again!

Nice quirky little riad. Very lovely staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Bed is comfortable and mint tea and cookies were always offered.

Cons: A menu for breakfast would be helpful. We had a lot of bread and sweet things beautifully presented, and only after eating most of this, was the offer of eggs. But everything was delicious.

What a fabulous three-night stay we had at The Little Hara (23rd March 2026). We arranged an airport transfer and were then met and taken to the riad by our host who was so friendly and welcoming, as was every member of the team we met - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were lovely - something different each morning, and the mint tea on tap. The riad itself was beautiful and our room on the top floor was really clean, offered good facilities, quiet and opened up onto a patio area. The location is perfect for all the sights, and just a 10 minute walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa (main square in the medina). The knowledge of the staff around recommendations - places, bars, local restaurants was brilliant. We also had a traditional Hammam at their sister riad, which was a 25 minute walk away. Thank you The Little Hara for a lovely stay. We hope to be back one day!! Thank you Elaine & Rebecca

The Little Hara è un incantevole Riad nel cuore della medina. Lo staff ed Ali sono stati gentili ed accoglienti da prima che arrivassimo, fornendoci tutte le informazioni e prenotando in anticipo le attività extra alle quali eravamo interessati. Destaco la excelente ubicación del hotel y la calidad del desayuno. El personal es sumamente atento; de hecho, el día de nuestra partida (a las 4:15 a. m.), nos acompañaron hasta el taxi y nos prepararon un desayuno ligero. Un detalle que agradecemos mucho.

De mensen die hier werken zijn zo ontzettend lief en zorgzaam. Ze leggen alles rustig uit en geven je veel tips voor de leukste, lekkerste en mooiste plekjes. Wij hebben met shuttel geboekt en dat was super geregeld. Je wordt opgehaald bij het vliegveld, wordt dichtbij de rihad afgezet en daar staat iemand op je te wachten die jou en de koffers naar de rihad brengt (2 min lopen). Je loopt de rihad en zit 100 meter verder in de straat met alle marktjes. Tijdens onze trip was ik ziek geworden en er is zo goed voor me gezocht, nogsteeds erg dankbaar daarvoor. De rihad zelf is erg schoon, de mevrouw die dit doet doet dit ook echt met liefde en dat zie, ruik en merk je aan alles. Het ontbijt is veeeel en lekker. Bed is niet te hard en niet ze zacht. Mijn moeder is wakker geworden bij het omroepen van het gebed, ik had daar zelf geen last van. Lang verhaal kort, wij raden dit zeker aan.

Some of the seating was quite tired looking and not very comfortable (tables/chairs) outside the kitchen area. On the upper level there were stored broken/ surplus items. Man bittet um Einlass (du musst wirklich an der Pforte klopfen 🙂) und Du wirst sehr freundlich und warmherzig im Little Hara empfangen. Das Riad ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Frühstück wird stilvoll und lecker auf der Dachterrasse serviert.

Cons: Sollte jemand nicht gut zu Fuss sein, dann sollte er ein anderes Riad buchen. Es kann kein Auto vor dem Riad halten. Distanz zu Fuss vom Drop Off 75-100m. Es wird allerdings auch vom Team geholfen.

We hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf. We werden opgehaald bij de taxi aan het einde van de straat en bij de riad stond een heerlijk ontbijt klaar. Niks was teveel en het personeel waren denk ik de vriendelijkste mensen van heel Marokko. Het ontbijt was fantastisch, dat overtrof onze verwachting. We konden onze tassen achterlaten voor het inchecken en het personeel stond klaar met tips of met hulp wanneer dat nodig was. Ook wanneer we vroeg weg moesten voor de ballonvaart (die je via hen kan boeken) stond er iemand klaar om met ons mee te lopen naar de taxi. Ook speciale verzoeken voor de kamer is geen enkele moeite. Zo stond er op mijn verzoek een prachtige bos bloemen klaar voor ons jubileum. Een leuke verrassing voor mijn vrouw, die daar erg dankbaar voor was. We hebben een speciaal plekje in ons hart gekregen voor the Little Hara en het ontzettend lieve personeel. Als je een prachtige plek in de medina zoekt, dan moet je hierheen!

We stayed for 3 nights and had a very good experience overall. The riad was very clean, nicely designed and had a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. One of the things we liked most was that it felt calm and relaxing despite being located in the Medina, which made it a very good place to return to after spending time in the busy streets of Marrakech. The staff were friendly, attentive and genuinely helpful throughout the stay, and their service made a real difference. The bed was comfortable, the room was well kept, and overall everything felt thoughtfully prepared. Breakfast was also very good and was a nice start to the day. Another big plus was the location, as it made it easy to explore Marrakech on foot and reach many places without much effort. The room was not especially large, but it worked well for a short city stay, and the view was pleasant and added nicely to the overall atmosphere. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and a place we would happily recommend.

Cons: Nothing major to complain about, only the room size was a bit compact, which is quite normal for this type of riad.

We arrived at the Little Hara in a bit of a state, due to travel issues, but the staff very quickly managed to make us comfortable by being extremely attentive. A beautiful riad, in a very central location (right on the edge of the souk), the bowls of nuts and fruit in the room were very much appreciated. Breakfast was extensive and very good.

Cons: Very little space on the side of the bed.the room was narrow, but very long, and I suppose there was nowhere else they could have put the bed.

What a lovely riad. We stayed twice within a week (trip to Sahara inbetween) and we stayed in 2 different rooms, both rooms were beautiful. The staff we all really friendly and helpful. Food was amazing too - we ate lunch on arrival and then breakfasts in the morning were great and the mint tea. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

The riad is truly stunning and rooms are spotless. We overall really enjoyed our stay there, all the staff are wonderful and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, especially as we had some issues with our bathroom on the first night which they fixed immediately. It’s right in the medina so you can walk everywhere and as per all the reviews the breakfast is spectacular!

Cons: It is quite loud at night, no fault of the property as being located so centrally in the medina street noise is unavoidable, but also due to the room proximity other guests in the hotel are very easy to hear at night, I would suggest bringing ear plugs

The Little Hara is a beautiful riad perfectly located in the Medina/Old Town. We felt really welcome there and the staff were so helpful. The breakfast was very good and we got to try some local dishes. We booked an excursion and airport transfer via the riad, which was very easy and comfortable.

Cons: While our room was very cosy it was quite cold (we came in January). There was also a lot of dampness in the bathroom, which came with a smell that could be dampness or something else. The room faced the inner courtyard so there is not much sound isolation. Also worth noting that breakfast was served outside, which could also be quite cold in the morning, but manageable with warm clothes. We appreciate that the riad is an old building so some of these problems are inevitable. We had a really lovely stay and were otherwise very happy with the Little Hara.

Toto ubytování není jednoduché napoprvé najít, ale když vstoupíte dovnitř jste v oáze klidu. Prostory jsou jednoduše ale účelně vybaveny. Koupelna s WC je v orientálním stylu ale evropském víc jak nadstandardu. Snídaně jsou luxusní. Jsou pestré a vždy veliké. Byli jsme zde na konci roku a báli jsme se zda nebude zima, ale vše bylo v pořádku. Všichni nám velice vycházeli vstříc a byli nápomocni. I věci jsme si na ubytování mohli nechat do odpoledních hodin, protože jsme odlétali až v noci. Poradili nám s nákupy, věnovali mapu. Prostě super.

Cons: Úplně nám nevyšlo počasí, ale i tady nám v ubytování vyšli vstříc zapůjčením deštníků.

The Little Hara ha sido un lugar perfecto para pasar unos días de Navidad. El espacio es precioso, con una decoración muy cuidada. La ubicación es estupenda también. Pero lo mejor de este lugar, son las personas que forman parte del equipo que cuida del Riad, son tod@s un amor! Si volvemos a Marrakech, no dudaremos en volver a alojarnos allí.

La beauté du lieu.

Cons: Le problème des Riads, c est l humidité. Et les escaliers étroit avec des marches un peu hautes. Je corrige, pour des personnes de plus de 65 ans . Pour des jeunes, c est parfait. J ajoute de faire très attention aux scooter dans la Medina qui circulent a tout moments et a des vitesses plus qu irraisonnable ( attention aux parents avec enfants).

Little Hara, samen met El Hara maken van je verblijf een oosters sprookje uit duizend en een nacht. Van voor aankomst tot en met vertrek wordt alles mogelijk. Ali en het team staan klaar en je wordt volledig in de watten gelegd. Het ontbijt was overdadig met locale heerlijkheden. Bij binnenkomst is er altijd thee met koekjes. En als je sarongs niet uit eten wil gaan is er een heerlijk menu aanwezig. Als je wilt regeld het team een taxi, bij regen staan de paraplu's klaar om zo comfortabel mogelijk de stad te verkennen. De privé Hamam in El Hara geeft ook je lichaam de reinheid en ontspanning die je verdient.

The free tea was great, and so was the breakfast. We got to try many local Moroccan dishes. The staff were really hospitable. I got sick and they made ginger tea for me several times, free of charge, and offered to get me medicine from the pharmacy. The location was great too, close to the Hammam and the main square.

Śniadania pyszne i urozmaicone - nie tylko słodkie, również na słono, proponowano nam dodatkową jajecznicę, a kiedy musieliśmy wyjść przed śniadaniem - dostaliśmy je na wynos. Mieliśmy dostawy wody butelkowanej do pokoju, a serwis sprzątający był codziennie! Czuliśmy się bardzo zaopiekowani, w riadzie panowała rodzinna atmosfera. Spało nam się genialnie - łóżka były bardzo wygodne!

Ali and the team at the Little Hara were exceptional and we really appreciated their fantastic hospitality. Our room was very clean, and we loved the extra touches such as the bowl of fruits and nuts, and the delicious mint tea. The breakfast each morning was excellent, and we also had lunch and dinner at the riad on occasion which was amazing. The location is great, right in the heart of the Medina and close to a lot of great restaurants and key sights. Overall, the team at the Little Hara went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and I would highly recommend this place to others!

Everything! The location, the staff and the atmosphere were all fantastic. I can’t rate the staff high enough, they were so thoughtful, accomodating and helpful. They helped us arrange a transfer to the riad and then met us at the car and helped carry our bags. They were very responsive via chat and offered to hold our bags when we went on the desert trip for a few days after our stay. The breakfast was also amazing on the rooftop and very yummy!

The host Ali was very kind. He made us feel at home welcoming us with tea, pointing out attractions as well as arranging taxis. The location is great as you are in the Medina, close to the action. The riad is small and intimate and all the staff gave great service. Breakfast on the roof was lovely.

Die Inhaber waren sehr freundlich und haben uns bei allen Angelegenheiten sehr gut unterstützt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gestaltet und das Frühstück war gut und abwechslungsreich. Die Abholung am Flughafen hat auch sehr zuverlässig funktioniert.

Cons: Da kann die Unterkunft nichts für, aber in der Nähe ist eine Moschee, sodass es sein kann, dass man sehr früh morgens geweckt wird.

Le petit déjeuner était excellent et très copieux, il varie chaque jour, parfait !! L emplacement dans la médina est vraiment central pour tout faire à pied, mais aussi non loin d'une entrée/sortie de la médina pour pouvoir prendre un taxi et découvrir les environs. Le personnel est des plus accueillant et amical, très serviable et souriant !! Merci à Ali qui s'est extrêmement bien occupé de nous. Le Riad est très propre, la literie très confortable, tout est décoré avec du gout. Un fois entré dans le Riad il n'y a pas de bruit, tout est très silencieux malgré la proximité avec les rues de la médina. La terrasse pour manger est très appréciable aussi. J'y retournerai les yeux fermés.

We stayed at this lovely Riad in the heart of the Medina as a family of six for four days and three nights – and we truly felt at home from the moment we arrived! What really makes this place stand out is the amazing team. Every single member of the staff was exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful. Whatever we needed or asked for – they always found a solution with a smile. The Riad itself is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are functional, and breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared each morning, individually served just the way we liked it. Some of the rooms are quite small, but still very practical and cozy. The location within the Medina is perfect – lively and authentic. Of course, you do hear some of the sounds of the neighborhood, like the call to prayer, but for us that was simply part of the Marrakesh experience. All in all, this Riad is a wonderful place to stay with an excellent value for money. We can wholeheartedly recommend it!

We loved it- so aesthetically pleasing, hosts were attentive and couldn't do enough. The room itself was spacious and clean, decor was gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious, a real opportunity to get a flavour of an authentic Moroccan meal -loved every mouthful and would recommend. If we go to Marrakech again, I'd not hesitate to book The Little Hara and know that I was in for a great stay. Cons: The ventilation within the room could be improved to allow stale air from the ancient wooden structure to escape. We left the windows open most of the time which did the trick.

The staff and cleanness of the Riad were exceptional. The breakfast was very good. Ali, Jamal, Hamzah were wonderful people and very polite and kind. The Riad was in a great location. Close enough to the main street and less than 50 feet from the Souk. Our room got cleaned daily and the staff filled out the fruit bowl and replace a big water bottle. The Riad is very cozy and spotless. Great decoration, fantastic staff, comfortable room and delicious breakfast on the rooftop make this Riad exceptional!! The kitchen staff ladies are very nice! Ali, Jamal and Hamzah helped us with all the needs. When we come back to Marakech we will stay in this riad again.

This Riad's location is perfect, very close to the souks (maybe 2/3 minutes by foot) and near (5m foot) to the one of the main roads in Marrakech. All staff was fantastic but Ali is superb with everything. The rooms are fantastic, cleaning, and the photos from the rooms are the same as you will see in your room. We requested for Airport to/from Riad transfer and Ali booked it. A mini-bus very clean, at a time, the motorist is very likeable.

Everything was absolutely exquisite , I don't understand how this riad is not ten out of ten. If you find a mistake you are either unlucky or just unrealistic. We stayed in multiple hotels in Morocco and Marrakesh and this was our favourite. Everyone was very professional and nice. They helped us with all our needs. From arranging multiple shuttle, from carrying our luggage everything was on time, and done with a smile. They have this amazing mint tea, we had a very nice dinner and great breakfast in the hotel. No one pressured us for tips (like many other places). They were also attentive to my allergies. Again as a fellow hospitality worker and teacher it was textbook excellence.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Little Hara! The property was very well located and the room was super clean, comfortable, and spacious. We stayed here as two 20 year old girls and the amazing staff made us feel so safe, going above and beyond to look after us for example ensuring we had our boarding passes printed for our flight home and even packing us breakfast to take with us on departure. All of the staff were incredible, special mention to Jamal and Ali who made our stay so memorable. We really enjoyed the breakfast on the rooftop each morning, which had a delicious variety. The Little Hara is a beautifully decorated piece in the old town. It’s well designed, small but elegant. You can enjoy the sunny morning on the roof top. Bees can come to sip honey from your breakfast plate. The staffs are very helpful and can speak good English! It’s a lovely place to stay!

Cons: The shower is not very stable…we experienced one night running out of warm water and another night without warm water at all. The staff arranged a hamman for us instead.

The accommodation was great, on site with all the market and sightseeing, all within walking distance max 30 min. The host (staff) was excellent, arranged any transport or attraction as you wished. The accommodation was new, the whole building was renovated about half a year ago. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace overlooking the city. So if you are looking for suitable place for accommodation with great access to the city centre, this should be your choice.

The staff were so keen to make our stay comfortable and one to remember. The room was spacious and very comfortable with all that we wanted. Breakfast was superb, served on the rooftop terrace, with a great selection that changed each day. The Mint Tea was terrific and was not only offered when we first arrived but on numerous occasions during our say.

Cons: There was nothing that we did not enjoy. I would suggest that you take up the Riad's offer of arranging transport from the airport, as this removes any problem in locating The Little Hara.

We stayed in The Little Hara for 4 nights. It was perfect and we recommend it to everyone. On the night we arrived the pick-up was great, Ali arranged everything and it went super smooth. We had dinner in the Riad and ate the lamb tajine with dried fruit. We think it's the best tajine we tried during our stay. The Riad is also one of the few places that serves some winel. The included breakfast is great, all sorts of different and local things. The Riad itself not super big and the rooms are not very spacious. However it really feels like a home away from home and it's decorated beautifully. You're out exploring the medina anyway ;) Talking about the medina, the Riad has a perfect location in the middle of the medina and basically everything is on walking distance. Ali and his team were also great. Really so so nice, helpful and attentive. Ali responds super quick to the messages and he helps you with any question you have, reservations you need to make or taxi you want to take. Whenever we come back to Marrakech we know which Riad to book. Hopefully see you agian in the future!

The Little Hara not a typical hotel but a guest house conversion in Madina, (old town), close to the main centre and square in Marrakesh is great place to stay with economical prices. The staff looked after extremely well, in particular Jamal who went beyond call of duty to make sure we had comfortable stay and even in odd hours, early mornings, made tea breakfast packs for our excursions! Rooms were decent and had fruit basket etc to welcome you. There was hearty home made Moroccan breakfast every morning. Location is very convenient and close to all the amenities and thoroughly recommend this place for the stay in Marrakesh.

Prior to arrival the communication is excellent, I asked for Airport transfer and upon arrival it was waiting for me. Arrival to hotel is very welcoming and here is when the best hospitality experience begins. Ali, Ali is one of the Hero staff members of this hotel, he welcomes you, greets you with Moroccan tea, water and biscuits. Check in and you are in one of the best Riads in Marrakech. I asked for early check in and the answer is yes, I asked for late check out and the answer is yes “all free of charge”… checking into a very fine clean room that smells awesome!! Breakfast is great and very nice assortment, room is super clean, comfortable bed, daily house keeping… in conclusion go to this Riad and I ensure that you’ll be in safe hands. Ali always receptive via WhatsApp and really is super helpful. No is not an answer I heard from this gentleman. All rest of staff my greetings to you. Thank you for shaping this experience…

The riad and its staff were exceptional. Located on the outskirts of the medina yet extremely quiet and peaceful. The riad was really clean. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Fruit, water and snacks were replenished every day. Toiletries were also provided. There was a safe and hairdryer in the room. Towels replaced and room cleaned daily if that’s what you wanted. Breakfast was wonderful, almost like a 3 course meal! Variety changed daily and served on the rooftop terrace. What made our stay though were the staff! Someone available 24/7 and nothing was too much trouble. We chose to let the Riad staff arrange our airport transfers and they came to meet us from the taxi to escort us down to the property. We were welcomed with mint tea and Ali gave us a map of the city and gave his recommendations of sights, cafes and restaurants.

Very centrally located, new riad. Cosy with a feeling like coming home. Very friendly hosts Ali and Jamal who are respectful, kind, gracious and go the extra mile to make you feel well. They even came to visit my family member who unexpectedly ended up in the ER and hospital. For my family member and for me (alone in a strange country with health crisis) this act of kindness made me feel supported, safer and like I wasn’t completely alone in all the hectic drama in a strange country away from home and everything I know. Thank you for that. The rooms are beautiful. The cleaning service is more than excellent. The breakfast is tasty. The tasty extra’s in the room just add to a very lovely experience we would recommend every one visiting Marrakesh.

Cons: The pillows could be improved, they did not do my neck a lot of good. Please make an emergency protocol of what number(s) to call for an ambulance and/or a ER/hospital (of good quality) in the night time. Have the phone numbers ready for a night host, so that when emergency hits unexpectedly it is clear what to do and action can be taken quickly. Preparation beats the overwhelming stress when emergencies happen. Also if possible, invest in having equipment to safely carry a person in medical need down the stairs. I know that can be a costly investment, but it literally saves lives of any one staying in a riad, owner, host or guest.

They go above and beyond from the moment you book your stay from sorting out the transfers from the airport, a map of the area and mint tea on arrival. The hotel is in the perfect location and beautiful. It was a last minute booking and I told them it was my mother’s birthday and they even surprised us to a bottle of cava in the room. Only a few mins walk to many attractions, such as The Secret Garden & Jemma El-Fnaa square & many more. Ali arranged our transfers to & from the airport which made our transfers super easy. He & his staff were wonderful, giving a warm welcome & lots of recommendations & help with restaurant bookings etc Our room was compact but perfectly comfortable for a short stay. We loved the decor throughout & the breakfast was perfect.

Just off rue sidi el yamani & a 4 minute walk to taxis this little gem is ideally placed. It's a 2minute stroll to the souks & 8 minutes to Jemaa el fnaa in the day & 5 at night when the souks are less crowded. Sidi el yamani is traffic free at night & only a few bikes and deliveries use it in the day so it is very quiet. The riad has just 7 rooms. 3 at ground level overlooking the courtyard. 3 more are one floor up and 1 at the top. We were in the Asni room on the ground floor. It has very comfortable twin beds, a seating area with a small table & separate en suite bathroom with a large walk in shower with both a rainfall & hand held shower. Good quality toiletries & towels are provided and replaced when required. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace or in the courtyard and is tasty mix of yoghurt or fresh fruit salad, bread rolls, local flat breads, cake, preserves, soft cheese, olive oil, amlou and honey along with eggs cooked to your choice and fresh orange juice and coffee. We were even welcomed back by Ali from a hard day’s haggling in the souks with complementary mint tea. The whole ambience of the riad is tranquil and unobtrusive and the two guys deal with all requests with patience and constant smiles. Jamal is there from about 7.00 p.m. and also serves breakfast and Ali is there from about 11.00 a.m.until 7.00 p.m. Both are very friendly, speak good English and happily go above and beyond their basic duties. 5 star & we'll be back. GO, enjoy.

They provided water, fruit, biscuit and mint tea on our arrival. The place is very clean, and is being cleaned daily if you wish. But what was most important to us was the friendly welcoming staff. Ali and Jamal went above and beyond our expectations. Our first stay was for 3 nights, and we came back to stay a fourth night after our desert adventures. The breakfast food is great and plentiful. They also offer dinner! On our last night, they prepared dinner for us free of charge! We could not have been happier with our choice of a Riad! Second time visiting Morocco, I can safely say that this is the place to stay in Marrakech. Beautiful riad, both traditional and chic, with a great ambience, quiet and super clean, comfy beds, in the Medina sooks leading to Jemaa El-fna. As shown in the pictures and even better. Breakfast was the best and rich! The traditional Morocco breakfast of pies, yogurt, eggs as you like them, and a plus of meat and fresh cakes served on the terrace. Something different every day. Judging of the breakfast, I can assume launch would have been great too. Too pity we did not have time to try it. Beer and wine is served too enjoying the views of the Koutoubia at night. Exchange is offered at a good rate. Most importantly, the people are welcoming, with big smiles and honest consideration. They welcomed us upon arrival with tea, treats, and music, and checked in with us at the end of our trip☺️. Hopefully, we will see you again! We rated everything out of 5 with our reasonings! Room - 5/5, AC working, everything is very clean, came with snacks, the room is smaller in size, but very cozy & good enough for 2 people. They knew it was our anniversary & went above and beyond to make the room special 😊 Breakfast - 5/5, beyond what was expected, more than enough to start your day, great view while eating. It was delicious & healthy and they’re happy to make what you want if they have it! Staff -absolutely exceptional! The kindest people ever, always prepared to help you in literally any way. Great tips, very calm &serene, just like if you’re at a spa Riad as a whole, just like a spa environment, smells amazing daily, very relaxing, although smaller than most it doesn’t feel like it. They have an airport shuttle , it is definitely on the expensive side but it makes your travels there easy as one of the staff Ali came to meet us as soon as we got out of the shuttle I would come back to Morocco just to stay here!
