Ci siamo sentiti accolti come in famiglia!

We stayed at the Riad and overall had a very good experience. From the beginning, we were warmly welcomed. We arrived at 2 a.m., and Ahmed was incredibly helpful — despite the late hour, he came on foot to meet us at the parking area, which showed great care and attention. Throughout our stay, we were also very well after by Ezzoubir, who was kind and always willing to help. The warmth and friendliness of the team really stood out.
Cons: I was a bit disappointed about the checkout time. The website stated that checkout was until 12 p.m., but we were asked to leave by 11 a.m., even though there were no guests arriving after us. I found this unnecessary and a bit inflexible, which was a contrast to the rest of the otherwise great experience.

The property is stunning . The bedrooms are so comfortable and beautiful, with air conditioning which adds to a good nights sleep ( as it was hot in Marrakesh ) . The pool was refreshing and well maintained . We just loved the authenticity of the Riad .
Cons: Initially it felt a little unsafe on our first night when we arrived as we had to walk down an alley to access the property . But actually the next day when we saw how life is in Marrakesh and there are numerous alleyways , with many houses / riad’s within , we soon felt safe and realised this is life in Marrakesh.

The staff was polite and the rooms were clean. Morning breakfast was quite good. interior of the Riad is quite rustic and have a old charm
Cons: It's located in an alley, and in the evening a local anti social element will rather near alley entrance , they will cat call and even mis guide even though you have not asked for directions, it is unsafe in evening and nights. Some of the rooms are a bit run down , and need repair.Bed was not at all comfortable, got back ache.

Comfortable bed. Cute courtyard with a very small dipping "pool".
Cons: Terrible location!!! It is in a dodgy, dirty, poor area where you do not want to be going after sun down. Overflowing dumpsters of trash with people eating from trash can, dirty dark narrow empty streets with rubbles and boarded buildings. Guys loitering who want to "show you the way" to a restaurant, and ask you for money. I did not feel safe. There is nothing interesting to see within 1km!! None. It's far from the nice areas of the medina, and far from the airport and tge train station. And it's expensive!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!

The staff were very friendly and the riad was very nicely decorated. The patio where we had breakfast in the morning was absolutely gorgeous and the breakfast itself was very good. Overall, would recommend.
Cons: It was not very easy to find the riad at first and we felt it was a bit far from all the attractions, especially if you have to walk back home at night. We had a reservation for a specific room but we were given a different one (which we had impression to be of a lower value). Cleanliness could be improved: finding dead flies lying on the bed was not very pleasant.

Nice Riad with a very pretty little courtyard. We stayed two separate nights in different rooms before going on some tours. Location is a bit hidden but the Riad arranged for us to be collected. It’s close for the gardens la majorelle and around 25min to the sukhs. The facilities worked for a short stay but we had a couple of electric sockets being loose, not working and no light in the shower. We also had tours planned for which we had to check out early and there was no option to accommodate an earlier breakfast (which was at 8am).

Beautiflu Riad, 20 minutes walk away from the Jemaa el-Fnaa (if you are a solo traveler and do not enjoy walking through empty, tiny streets after dark, do not stay here), very kind and polite receptionist, delicious welcome treats, beautiful plants everywhere!
Cons: We had to leave at 6:50 for our flight, and unfortunately, the place could not provide us with a packed breakfast; we would have appreciated even a small piece of fruit. Another place where we stayed and left early for the Sahara tour was able to offer us a packed breakfast.

Our stay at this Riad was wonderful. From the very first moment, the staff made us feel at home, always attentive and willing to help with a smile. We especially want to mention Ahmed, who was an excellent host from day one, helping us in every way he could and making our stay even more special. The room for three was comfortable and had the charming essence of Marrakech. The cleanliness, breakfast, and hospitality were a 10/10. Without a doubt, a highly recommended place for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic experience in the city. We will definitely be back!

The entrance was well hidden and it was hard to find it at the beginning. But once we entered the Riad it was like something out of a fairytale. We were staying with our 1,5 year old toddler and his grandma, we got two rooms on the same floor and felt like at home. It was very quiet at night and the staff was very friendly. They even arranged a massage for us right at the hotel. The breakfast was tasty. The location was great to reach everything on foot. We definitely recommend this place and would stay here again if we ever visited Marrakesh again. Thank you!

Cons: We stayed two nights in the worst room, we asked to change it and were told that they were all occupied, very poor breakfast, far from all the main attractions of Marrakesh, the entrance is through a tunnel, in case of an earthquake no more get out of there, the area is unsafe in the evening, there are all kinds of dubious people who ask tourists for money, I saw tourists harassed by people from the area, the only plus was the recreation area, nothing else.

We stayed for 2 nights with our 10 month old baby, I requested a travel cot before arrival and this was provided with no problems. On our arrival we were helped with parking and our bags and shown to where the Riad was (for a cost of course - but this is not part of the Riad). It is in an excellent location with everything in walkable distance. The host recommended two restaurants to us which we visited and were excellent and great value for money. They are so family friendly and even took our baby to allow us to eat breakfast and drink tea! Breakfast was lovely. Note that the location of the Riad is under a little tunnel that you need to duck under and then the door is down some steps. Though it's wonderful when you walk round the corner and the Riad is there in all of its glory with open rooftop and beautiful tiles, pool etc. There is also a lovely rooftop you can relax on upstairs. The rooms have AC and are spacious. They are very clean and comfortable also! All staff go above and beyond to help and make your stay comfortable! Thank you all for your kindness.

I could not recommend this superb Riad more! Tucked away in a corner of Marrakesh's Medina, the Riad opens into paradise! Run by amazing housekeeper Khadija and greeted warmly by the Riad's owner, we were welcomed with tea and a guided map and talk about how to get around the city. The room was a lovely size, with a comfortable double bed and the bathroom was stunning and worked perfectly. The Riad added some tranquillity to return to after busy days touring the bustling city. The breakfast was delicious and offered both Moroccan and Lipton tea, coffee and juice. We could not have been better looked after. Also quick and easy to get to the heart of the Medina!
Cons: The riad is a little tricky to find as we didn't have internet on our phones and it's accessible by walking only. Our recommendation would be to take a Taxi to the parking lot around the corner and then ensure you have downloaded the map to the riad that can easily be followed. It is only a one minute walk from the car park so that would be the easiest route! If you are travelling alone perhaps call the riad to ask someone to come to collect you.

The room and staff were very good and couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent. I was amazed by how quiet the Riad was. It was a delight to sit and read in the cool courtyard around the splash pool after we had spent a long day walking around the nearby alleys and streets. If I needed anything at all, either to eat, drink, help to book something, or directions the staff were always available.
Cons: I only had one problem at the Riad, which was because of my size and mobility and not their fault. The front door had a large step-down, which I had trouble negotiating without banging my head on the door and holding onto the door frame to get in.

The riad was so beautiful, clean, and peaceful and in such a good location- so close to the markets. Houda and Khadija were so welcoming and kind and we felt so looked after by everyone there. The food was delicious and they helped us sort out whatever we needed. Would highly recommend and would happily go back again!

All the staff was amazing to us, even given the languaje barrier, everyone was vey helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious and different every day. We booked our hammam and massage through them and all was very easy. The room is spacious and has A/C, all cleaned daily, water pressure is good...
Cons: A bit tricky to find the first time, but if asked, they'll send someone to pick you up from the taxi (they helped me even though I arrived late 10pm-ish)

I absolutely loved everything about this place. The staff were so kind and helped us with everything we needed. We ended up booking an extra night. It's in a quiet location outside of the craziness of the square. A beautiful, peaceful terrace. The room is absolutely stunning and super clean. Beds are incredible comfortable! I have a neck injury and can confirm they are sublime to sleep in.

Beautiful Riad! As many people have said, an oasis in the Medina. Our hostess Khadija was super helpful and very kind. Nothing was too much trouble. The roof terrace is lovely and quiet. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of it! All the people we came into contact with were lovely and helpful. Our room was clean and cosy. All in all, a great place to stay and exceptional value for money. I'd recommend Riad El Filali to anyone, so don't hesitate, book it!
Cons: Nothing to dislike!

Amazing place with a real Moroccan vibe. Everything just fits. Really friendly staff, amazing room and an authentic breakfast. Also, be sure to not miss the roof terrace! We really enjoyed staying here.
Cons: We found the place hard to find, but I sent a message via booking and someone came to pick us up. In the evenings, the streets of the Medina don't feel the safest, but once you know where to find the riad, you should be fine.

The Riad is in a beautiful part of Marrakech. From there you can be in the center in just a few minutes. We are very grateful for the hospitality, the warm welcome and the delicious food. The included, authentic moroccan breakfast was very good. The riad is also very beautiful and clean. The people were so friendly and recommended us a lot what we have to see in Marokko. We can definitely recommend Riad El Filali. We felt like a part of the family.

The Riad was brilliant, great architecture and very authentic. The staff were really friendly and helpful, supporting our excursion to Agefay. The Riad was cool in the morning which is perfect in the heat. We also really liked the food at breakfast. Location is also perfect. Overall, Riad El Filali was a great place for us, a quiet oasis in a busy town. Would definitely recommend.
Cons: Nothing springs to mind.

Spent three nights in the Riad. Khadija and Houma were most welcoming and provided for our needs, whether meeting us for a very late arrival, serving an early breakfast, booking a private rental car, or making suggestions for places of interest. Could not have had a warmer reception from our hosts. The location was perfect, steps from the Medina and nearby museums. Khadija even called us while at the airport to wish us a "bon voyage"! Nice touch.
Cons: Travelers need to be aware that Riads are not normally hotel-level and an opportunity to be with the community you are visiting. If there are apprehensions about dark alleyways or "unusual food", stay home or at a Marriott. I have no complaints and enjoyed my stay.

We liked everything about the property, the staffs were amazing, they went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable. Ahmed, Huda, and Khadijah were so helpful that I cannot express in words, they were there every time we needed something. There were two times where we didn’t know what restaurant to go to in the area and Ahmed not only recommended us the restaurants he also walked with us all the way to the restaurants. I highly recommend this place to anybody.

From the moment we arrived with our three kids (10, 14, 16), we were warmly welcomed and served mint tea and snacks. It was the perfect way to arrive in a new city. Over the course of our stay Khadija and Rhuda looked after us so well and we felt very much at home and cosy. We chilled outside our room over looking the courtyard and riad pool and hung out on the roof terrace. It was the perfect tranquil place away from the busy hustle and bustle of the souk/medina. Also thanks to Rhuda we got to have a real hammam experience which was unforgettable.

This was a gift for 70s birthdays for my parents and each time we talked they were so happy and with smiley faces. They enjoyed and they spoke about their hostes Mouda,Ahmed, Khadya. They were so friendly, ready to assist, kind, professional. They made their r stay eaven better. Marrakesh is a beautiful destination and they enjoyed every second of their stay. The accomodations is clean, wonderful breakfast, they are two elders and who walked up to 30 min to all sights. Very comfortable bed. They fall in love in Marrakesh.

Riad El Filali felt like home. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly generous with their time and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. They walked us to local restaurants, showed us to an ATM, and even took me to a local female hammam spot for an authentic experience. They allowed us to leave our suitcase when heading on a tour for a few days. The facilities are immaculate more beautiful than the photos suggest. Although very close to the hustle and bustle of the medina, the accommodation is on a quiet street and felt like a little oasis. The breakfast each morning was delicious and changed regularly. I recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakech!

The complementary breakfast was really good, and super flexible depending on your schedule, you just tell the staff when you need it by the night before. The rooms and the riad itself was very beautiful, the staff Khadija, Houda, and Ahmed were super friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!
Cons: The only downside is if you come back late after midnight, the path is a little scary if you are alone.

Fantastic Riad! lovely and helpful staff. Mr Ahmed is a super nice guy who printed out my boarding pass( this needs to be printed in Morocco) really nice courtyard area with plants and cats! good breakfast, helped with taxi to airport for a very early flight. would stay here again! The Riad is quiet hard to find on google maps. I would recommend maps.me for this. once you locate it its easy to find from the main road nearby. I met the nice owner a Dutch lady who was very friendly and helpful. My best stay in Morocco!

How to start? From extra polite workers mr. Ahmed and Ms. Houda who helped us regard everything - excursion, local transportation, giving us a hand in small stuffs. These people could work in five star hotels without any problems. We had breakfas - my opinion: real Marrocan breakfast, enough for morning, easy for us who comes from Europe, any case, for biggest grade. Rooms and bathroom are designed in arhitecture Marrocan way - real riad. So, if you would like to feel real spirit of Marrakesch, I would definatly recommand to take riad, not some hotel, offcourse with El Filali on first place. I hope maybe to come back again once again, who ever book this property, won't regret!
