Great value and the friendliest staff. If you want to be in the action of the medina while staying close to the main streets (so that you don't have a long walk with your luggage coming into the medina), you'll like this location. That said, being in the medina like this can have it's drawbacks for some people. The staff are what really make this place stand out for me. They greet you with smiles and do what it takes to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast is included as well.

Cons: It can be noisy due to its location. Much of the noise of the medina is dampened when you're inside the riad, but if people are yelling outside, you may still hear them. The fake "guides" on the street can be annoying when you're just trying to walk to the riad.

Super emplacement en plein cœur de la médina, proche des souks et des lieux de rencontre pour les excursions. Personnel adorable, à l’écoute et disponible. Grand plus d’avoir pu avoir un taxi à disposition par la Riad pour les navettes aéroport. Chambre simple mais fonctionnelle et propre. On entend le bruit de la rue mais c’est difficilement évitable et ça ne nous a pas incommodé. La terrasse sur le toit était un vrai plus.

Cons: Un verrou interne pour s’enfermer dans la chambre aurait été bienvenue. Nous n’avons pas pu barrer la chambre de l’intérieur de tout le séjour.

Magnifique Riad bien situé car nous avons pu faire toutes les visites à pied. Le personnel du Riad s’est occupé de commander un taxi pour venir nous chercher et nous ramener à l’aéroport. Très propre, joli, déjeuner copieux, personnel à l’écoute. Toujours quelqu’un pour nous accueillir peu importe à l’heure où nous rentrions. À choisir sans hésitation.

The attention of the owners and the location. It’s an amazing and traditional Riad just in the heart of Marrakech Medina. Very close to souks and Bab Doukkala Medina’s gate.

It was very close to the market of Marrakech. The breakfast was simple, filling, and fresh. I recommend dining at the restaurant called 'La Terrasse Du Jardin,' which is close to the hotel. If you like meat, you should try Tanjia Marrakchia, and if you enjoy chocolate, you should try the chocolate cake. I think its name is Moelleux Au Chocolat.

A good location 10 minutes walk from a main bus stopping point/taxi rank and 20 minutes to the main square (Medina). The owner was friendly and went out of his way to help, such as providing breakfast early if needed. The 24 hour reception/on-site presence is convenient and gives a feeling of security. The room was adequately sized, clean and comfortable and the facilities, although basic, worked as required with a warm shower etc. The immediate area felt safe and there were plenty of cafés and shops nearby. I would definitely stay again if in Marrakech.

Location is just a couple of minutes to the heart of the action. Plenty of cafeterias and restaurants outside. Staff was very friendly, a big thank you to everyone. The common areas are fantastic, the inside of the riad is well kept, the small pool is really nice to see. The terrace is great, big, with plenty of spaces to seat and relax. Breakfast was your standard Moroccan hotel breakfast with bread, jam, honey, etc.

Cons: The room didn't have any window. Also, the bathroom is a disaster. There's a really weird mix of a tub and a shower, except it doesn't really work as a shower or a bathtub, and you end up splashing water everywhere. Water pressure was really low too. The pipes look designed by a mad plumber. And, finally, I really didn't like that you don't have the keys to the front door like in other riads. To enter, you have to knock on the door every time.

The riad was a peaceful haven in the busy medina. It was authentic. We felt safe with 24 hour reception. Staff were so lovely & friendly. Room cleaned daily & a delicious Moroccan breakfast each morning. I would 100% stay here again & would highly recommend to a friend.

The riad is an old building , well kept, in a very good location. The courtyard and the terrace are beautiful. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable.

Very nice breakfast, huge room with a lot of antique furnishings and character. Staff were friendly and helpful. The riad is quite well located in the medina, about 10 minutes walk from central tourist locations such as Dar el bacha.

Cons: There was only one mirror in the room in the bathroom and it was very high up so hard to use, also only curtains separating the bathroom from the main room so not much privacy.

The main hall is so beautiful and felt like a haven of calm from the hustle and bustle outside. The staff were very helpful, we particularly loved Bushra and Imaan.

Cons: There was no movement of air in the room we had. It got quite stuffy. My companion found the bed hard but I think that's just personal choice.

The breakfast was excellent, the staff were attentive and friendly. The room was very confortable and cozy. The wifi was available everywhere in the riad and the terrace was very nice, with a friendly turtle.

Cons: The communication with the staff was lacking a little in english, however we managed to understand. The location was far from the most touristic spots, however close to the jardin majorelle and the taxi station.

Cons: When I arrive the room i was checked in wasn´t the room i reserved for -was a extra small without windows. I need to ask to be changed. The cleanliness of the facilities is 6/10, and the images on booking do not reflect the reality - The location is good but it is preferable to be closer to the Royal Palace or the main square to have more options for shops and places to eat at night. -Here you should walk about 10-15 minutes. It is good, but I ´ve been in other Riads that fit the images better

The property is well located and is a quiet refuge from the hustle and bustle outside. The common area is attractive.

Cons: People sleeping in the other room of the suite I had reserved, had to go through the main bedroom to use the bathroom and toilet located ensuite of the main bedroom. As inconvenient as this may be, it was made much worse by the lack of a door to the bathroom, the lack of privacy making it quite uncomfortable for western visitors. Also, I was disappointed to note that complaints about the state of repair of the shower in a review written over a year prior in relation to the very same room, have not been addressed. The shower in question, has its holder broken and the temperature and flow are all but impossible to regulate. A major hassle and for the price, unacceptable. The electric lighting in the rooms was very dim with one of the bedside lamps not working.

This Riad is one of the best you can find in Marrakech! Is inside the Medina but close by the Nouvelle Ville, the staff is excellent everyone was so kind and helpful! The hospitality is a 10 out of 10 and the facilities too. Amazing breakfast on the terrace with really good local products. In the riad you can buy good and cheap tours to the desert or nearby cities and the host is always there to help you. What can I say one of the best experience I’ve ever had!

The location is very handy as it is right near the entrance to Medina where you can find all the souks and also walking distance to the main tourist attractions Staff are so friendly especially MBARK and the facilities are excellent It was worth its price and I would highly recommend this Riad to anybody travelling to Marrakech and looking to stay in the old city

The location is in the middle of Marrakesh madina, convenient for walking around. The host and staff here are extremely friendly and nice. The owner he recommended for us places to go and eat with good prices. In the final day we needed to leave earlier than the breakfast time but he still prepared for us something to eat and drink. That was kind and lovely 😊

Cons: Well the lights in my room were broken when we entered but the staff got them fit quickly. So it was okay in general

Good location, easy to find, good view and big common areas, pretty room with paceful terrace, the owner so kind and the location is perfect for take the bus to airport or stop in the supratour when you came from ouarzazat. Also the prices is very good for the quality

On the edge of the Souks it is an grear location. Staff were super friendly and helpful, giving great advice and could not do enough to help. Cleanliness was immaculate, it was a beautiful building and room was wonderful. Only slight issue is unless.you know it is there it is really easy to miss, so I would suggest taking advantage of the airport pickup rather than spend ages trying to find the very discrete entrance.

Youseff the manager went above and beyond. He greeted us with a smile. I had made the reservation for the next day but he found a way to get us in a room. He booked the most amazing excursions. One was the cascades and the other the sleep over in the dessert. Both were amazing and worth every penny. Thanks Yousseff and your staff we will remember our trip for ever

the bed was comfortable and a spacious room.

Cons: A strange welcoming, having a young girl answer the door who had been crying. The whole place was empty and deadly silent. A pleasant lady made us some tea. The man who we spoke to, to take our payment was cold and unwelcoming. The drains were blocked and our bathroom flooded from the shower. Not a nice part of the medina to stay.

The good thing: staff are friendly, breakfast was good enough and riad pretty close to gemma al fnaa.

Cons: Read not bad, but lucking loving hands: in stone vases on a patio dead, dry plants, leaves floating in the swimpool, on a corner tired old sofa with thrown on top dirty ugly carpet. Unpleasant surprice was a smell, as soon u enter riad. Smell of steal rotted water. And one more surprise to find that your bathroom with toilet just hidden behind the curtains, no door. So if u want to use toilet u have to ask your partner to go outside to patio and wait there.

Nice and quiet riad, great location, lovely and helpful staff on-site 24/7. Rooftop terrace and small pool which was very nice in the summer heat. Air condition in the room.

Cons: Some maintenance issues - bathroom towel rack came loose, sink was not properly fitted. Quite a few bugs in the room.

Cons: The rooms are not as equipped as told. We had one that didn't have AC so we changed it for one where the water wasn't running. The staff did help us but didn't have a proper room. When we were leaving we wanted to get the breakfast in advance (we wanted just a package the night before) because we were leaving at 3am and it was a problem to give it to us.

The room was spacious and the air conditioning worked. Location was about 10 - 15 minutes walk through the medina to Jammal Fna. I quite liked that.

Cons: The shower - the shower head was detached from the wall. Also, water supply was so slow - in fact it was just a drip sometimes scalding hot sometimes cold.

The Riad had a homely feeling- the breakfast was really nice, although if there was a little less carb replaced with some protein or fruit that would have been really nice. But then the location enabled me to buy fruits, which the staff at the Riad washed and served on a plate/ tray for us to enjoy.

Cons: We booked two rooms-the bathroom of one of the room can do with a new lick of paint. The walls of the shower looked really worn and old.

Cons: This place is overrated!!! Really don’t recommend for people who visit Morocco for the first time. The owner tagged up with local people to scam you and ask you to pay them outrageous price(tips). We asked Riad so many times about parking and check in before arrival but there was NO answer so we directly went to Riad. When we got to Riad, even though it was impossible to find parking without someone’s help, owner refused to help or even guide us to the parking. Instead he asked random guy there to take us to the parking. When we finally entered Riad, the random local guy asked us to pay him for the “guide”. It was our first day and we had no knowledge about this kind of “scam” they usually do to tourists. We tried to pay him with normal amount but we were forced to pay more by the owner and local. You’ll know the amount was A LOT if you actually explore the city later ( how can we know! it was our first day) It would have been nice at least the owner tells us proper tips but he didn’t even do that!!! We were very upset about how Riad treated us from the very beginning.

It was a quiet place to stay which was nice compared to the noise and activity in the main square. It was clean. The staff were helpful. We walked to most things, it took about 10-15 mins to get to the main square.

Cons: Note, the bed was hard and a little uncomfortable. There wasn't as much space as I expected.

Cons: unfortunately the room we got was in the front and as a result we couldn’t sleep with the noice BUT we talked with other guests who were at the back and they said they slept. so if you’re booking , as for room at back.

classic style riad with a nice courtyard and terrace. room was a good size. located right in the median so super easy to walk everywhere and to access the souk!

The riad is in a good location and is beautifully laid out and decorated. Staff are friendly, attentive and accommodating.

Cons: With the rooms being close together it can be a little noisy if other guests are not considerate when returning later at night or are talking loudly on the veranda.

The roof top area was delightful. Great view. Nice wandering tortoises. And a good washing line to dry clothes. And the location

Cons: Even though the aircon worked well, I found sleeping in a room without windows quite challenging.And the room will be even better once the hot tap is marked red not blue as I waited a long time thinking it would become hot!

We had a lovely stay at Riad El Sagaya, the staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.. Each day our room was cleaned, bedding and towels replaced. For the very reasonable price we payed the service we recieved was very very good. Breakfast was simple but very tasty. The location is very good and only a 20 minutes walk to the main square, taking you through the markets and past plenty of shops along the way.. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons: No door between bedroom and bathroom.

A very nice Riad, excellent value for the money, in a terrific location (walking distance to medina, Jardin Majorelle, old & new towns). The owner and staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, even taking us to the grocery store to pick up a few things we needed. Thank you Youseff!

nothing to like about this Riad. I hope Booking.com will take them out of the hotel selection.

Cons: Many things WRONG about this Riad. FIRST no cold water running on the first night then no hot water in the second night. I had to shower with bucket of water. SECOND the air condition/heater remote didn’t work so cold room. THIRD, dirty and dark room, no bright light and many chips painting in the wall. very uncomfortable twin bed and very depressing linen and looks dirty and the comforter looks like not washed regularly FOURTH, bad location and not easy access for taxi or tour pick up. very noise from the road, need to use your ear plugs. far away to walk to city center and feel unsafe. FIFTH dark hallways and staircase. we had to climb to the steep and narrow case to 3rd floor. SIXTH, basic breakfast, no buffet and limited quantity. we asked for to go breakfast because we had early tour but they refused to prepare it SEVENTH broken faucet at the guest bathroom in the lobby and NO SOAP to wash your hand. EIGHTH the front desk didn’t open the door when my brother came back at 5:45 AM from a NYE party. luckily I was awake to go to the Libby to open the door for him Don’t wasting your money to book this hotel. I travel over 55 countries but this is The worse hotel I ever booked with BOOKING.com. I should be compensated or refund my bookings.

Staff was very friendly and nice, good location near Medina and also outer wall. Rooms were clean and proper. The rooftop terrace is nice to sit at.

Cons: There as a lot of noise from the street during the night. Also the doors of the rooms are not soundproof at all, so there is a lot of noise coming through from there as well when other people start to move in the hallway or have breakfast,.. No daylight in the rooms. Pools seems more like a decoration element than for swimming.
