Cet établissement est un vrai riad implanté en plein coeur de la Médina. Il est très beau, très propre et typique. Il se trouve à 3 min à pied de la place Jemaa El Fna. Sa situation géographique est idéale pour découvrir le Vrai Marrakech. Merci à Daniel pour son chaleureux accueil et sa disponibilité. Nous nous sommes sentis vraiment bien MERCI !!! Le personnel est ADORABLE, un grand merci à Naïma, Rachid, Ali et tous les autres dont j’ai oublié les prénoms et je m’en excuse. Un conseil le meilleur couscous est au Riad El Borj alors réservez votre dîner vous serez enchantés. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! N’hésitez pas vous serez exactement au bon endroit si vous souhaitez un logement typique de Marrakech.

This was the most beautiful Ryad ever!! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were super clean, private, comfortable. The interior design, all the art, paintings, bathroom and colours of the rooms was divine. Very authentic and unique. Also felt very safe inside the Ryad. The pool area felt super peaceful and serene, complete opposite to outside in the chaos of the city. It was the best.

Tutto bellissimo, la struttura e le camere curate in ogni particolare in bellissima architettura marocchina, la nostra era molto grande con un bagno bellissimo. Abbiamo visitato la suit....uno spettacolo da sogno. La colazione abbondante, posizione ottima nel cuore della Medina, la piccola piscina in stile marocchino in un portico fresco ornato da alberi di frutta, perfetta per il caldo di luglio. Il personale gentile e sorridente, ma soprattutto il proprietario un uomo elegante e cortese che ci ha accolto con molti Consigli preziosi.

Il nostro soggiorno in questo Ryad è stato semplicemente meraviglioso. La struttura si trova in una posizione perfetta, a pochi passi dalla piazza principale, dove si svolge il vivace mercato cittadino. Da qui è facile trovare i taxi per raggiungere qualsiasi destinazione e, allo stesso tempo, si è vicinissimi ai caratteristici souk, ideali per passeggiare e fare shopping tra artigianato locale, spezie e prodotti tipici. Appena entrati nel piccolo vicolo che conduce al Ryad, non si può immaginare cosa si nasconda dietro il portoncino d'ingresso. Una volta varcata la soglia, si apre un mondo fatto di tranquillità e bellezza: alberi di arance che regalano ombra al cortile, splendide maioliche, porte riccamente decorate e ambienti eleganti che invitano al relax. L'atmosfera è quella di una vera casa marocchina, autentica e accogliente. Più che in un hotel, qui ci si sente davvero a casa. Abbiamo soggiornato nel piccolo ryad anzichè nel ryad principale ma anche questo è semplicemnete stupendo. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Daniel, il proprietario, che ci ha accolte con grande premura e attenzione. Fin dal nostro arrivo si è reso disponibile per organizzare le prenotazioni dei ristoranti, i trasferimenti da e per l'aeroporto e per fornirci tutte le informazioni necessarie per visitare il Jardin Majorelle e le altre attrazioni della città. Con la sua gentilezza, professionalità e i suoi preziosi consigli, ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. La colazione, servita ogni mattina sulla terrazza, circondata da splendide bouganville colorate, offriva un'atmosfera rilassante e suggestiva. Non era una colazione a buffet, ma un servizio curato nei minimi dettagli, con una selezione di specialità locali e proposte continentali, tutte fresche e deliziose. Un luogo speciale, dove eleganza, autenticità e ospitalità si fondono perfettamente. Un'esperienza che porteremo nel cuore e che consigliamo senza esitazione.
Cons: Unico appunto "negativo"? Magari qualche lucina in più nella stanza, la luce soffusa dona atmosfera e calore ma, per noi "ragazze", avere una luce leggermente più forte per agevolare l'operazione del trucco non guasta.

My son and I had a fantastic stay at Ryad El Borj. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with mint tea and biscuits – exactly what we needed after our flight. The riad itself is incredibly peaceful, with beautiful traditional décor that really adds to the experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay – Daniel the owner and Ali were brilliant, helping to organise airport transfers and a great day trip to the Atlas Mountains. The location in the Medina is perfect – atmospheric but still convenient for getting to the main cultural sites. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet. Breakfast was fantastic each morning, with lovely views, and always set us up well for a full day of exploring. A special touch was the birthday surprise – they wished me a happy birthday and gifted me some delicious Moroccan pastries, which was a lovely gesture. My son also loved the resident cat and tortoises, which added to the charm. The pool was a real highlight – a peaceful little oasis tucked away from the hustle and bustle, perfect after a hot day out. We would highly recommend Ryaad El Borj to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing riad experience.

Très belle chambre typique et bien décoré, Riad facilement accessible et simple à trouver, chambre ferme à clé, bon petit déjeuné. Il faut savoir que la piscine n’est pas directement dans le Riad à quelques mètre de marche en repassant par la rue, cependant une fois sur place lieu super paisible, et agréable.
Cons: Température de l’eau de la piscine début juin était très très froide, difficile d’y mettre les pieds. Peu insonorisé, réveil par le bruit et appels à la prière proche. Petit déjeuner n’est qu’après 8h pas avant. La fenêtre qui donne dans la salle de bain est transparente sans rideau, il ne fait pas être très pudique … Pas la plus belle vue que l’on ait eu comparé à nos autres Riad.

Our wonderful host Ali met us in the beautiful courtyard with a big welcoming smile and some mint tea. As we sat in the dappled shade under the fragrant orange trees, he spent time telling us about the best sights & restaurants in Marrakech, the Ryad’s resident tortoise eyeing us from a sunny spot in the corner! He then gave us a great map of the town to take as a guide. Our room was at the top of the Ryad and it was immaculate, with a private bathroom and a beautifully tiled shower (& lovely hot water!) plus a large private plant-filled terrace complete with table & sunbeds, where we watched some stupendous sunsets! As the temperature rose on our last night, we were able to make use of the very welcome air conditioner too! A delicious breakfast of fruit salad, fresh squeezed orange juice, yogurt, crepes, cheese, olives, fresh bread with apricot jam, & steaming hot coffee was served on a lower terrace where tables were set in a raised pavilion, surrounded by potted olive trees, tumbling bougainvillea and statuesque cacti. Everything was enchanting and perfect. Only a stone’s throw from the buzz of the Jma El Fnaa Square, El Borj is nevertheless an oasis of cool quiet peace after the busy days exploring the fascinating - and labyrinthine! - Medina. Very highly recommended. We’d stay again in an instant!
Cons: Maybe a bottle of water in the room would be helpful as we sometimes forgot to buy one in the Medina on the way back in the evening.

Die Abholung vom Flughafen hat super funktioniert (18,00 € pro Fahrt, inkl. Träger), wir wurden direkt zum Riad gebracht und hier sehr herzlich empfangen. Nach einer Tasse Kaffee durften wir bereits unser Zimmer beziehen und wir waren begeistert. Es war wirklich geräumig und bot genug Privatsphäre... Alles war sehr liebevoll gestaltet, gemütlich und authentisch.. Im Zimmer standen frische Blumen bereit, insgesamt ein sauberer Gesamteindruck, inklusive Badezimmer und Toilette – wunderschön. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Wir haben leider nur eine Nacht in diesem Riad verbracht, aber es war unvergesslich. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier einchecken. Auch das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war mehr als ausreichend und wir wurden bestens umsorgt. Unterm Strich: Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr gute Lage und super freundliche MitarbeiterInnen. Danke!

Nuestra experiencia en Riad El Borj ha sido absolutamente abrumadora, en el mejor sentido de la palabra. Desde el primer momento, Daniel y Alí te hacen sentir como en casa: son maravillosos, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudarte en todo lo que necesites. Recomendamos muchísimo contratar los traslados con ellos, ya que tienen muy buen precio y el servicio es impecable, con personas muy serviciales y amables. El desayuno es una auténtica pasada, todo delicioso y preparado con mucho cariño. Los msemen están riquísimos… ¡yo los pondría todos los días! Además, la limpiadora es encantadora y mantiene todo impecable. Todo estaba cuidadísimo al milímetro. Nuestra habitación, la suite, ha sido probablemente el lugar con más encanto en el que hemos dormido nunca. Un riad mágico, lleno de detalles y con una atmósfera especial que hace que la estancia sea inolvidable. Si volvemos a Marrakech, volveremos sin dudarlo a este maravilloso riad.

The Ryad is in an amazing location within walking distance of everything you would want to visit and the main square. Staff are so kind and helpful and go out of their way to make your stay special. We ate an evening meal at the Ryad and I would say it’s the best meal we had. Such great value too. Beautiful place to stay and our room had the terrace as was the tower room. The staff helped me when I wasn’t feeling too great too.

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo vissuto un'esperienza straordinaria presso il Riad El Borj, la nostra stanza era in realtà un appartamento della tipologia riad all'interno del riad stesso. Il proprietario, signor Danièl, è una persona estremamente gentile e disponibile. Tutta la ristrutturazione del riad è stata pensata direttamente da lui, in ogni singolo dettaglio, con un gusto incredibilmente elevato. Alì è sempre a disposizione per aiutare in caso di necessità. La colazione avviene su una terrazza stupenda ed è accompagnata dal canto degli uccellini. La posizione è incredibile, sei nel punto nevralgico del Suk, ma una volta dentro questo "paradiso" non si sente alcun rumore. Insomma esperienza top, la consiglio a chiunque perchè rappresenta un punto forte di tutta l'esperienza straordinaria di una città straordinaria come Marrakech.

Il riad è molto bello, la depandance offre una piscina e molta privacy. Nonostante la posizione centrale la notte non abbiamo sentito alcun rumore se non gli uccellini. Lo staff è molto gentile, ci hanno addirittura preparato una perfetta colazione to-go visto che dovevamo lasciare il riad presto. La stanza aveva un piccolo salottino molto carino. Forniscono una stufetta per scaldare il bagno dai soffitti altissimi.
Cons: Alcune delle stanze sono in una depandance non distante ma in un vicoletto un po' appartato. Quando ho prenotato non mi era stato chiaro che la stanza non sarebbe stata nella sede principale.

Beautiful riad that is very centrally located in the medina. The staff are very accommodating. We had an amazing room that was very spacious. Breakfast was also great and on a beautiful terrace. We wish we could have stayed for longer! Also loved the resident riad cat!
Cons: The bed was not super comfortable. Also the shower head was a hand held situation which made showering a little challenging, as well as there being no light in the shower alcove so it was a bit dark. Otherwise the bathroom was great.

Ho alloggiato in questa struttura insieme ad una mia amica purtroppo per noi solo una notte. É stato tutto meraviglioso! Lo staff ci ha accolto con dei biscottini e del the alla menta buonissimo! Ci hanno offerto una piantina di Marrakech e tutte le info necessarie. Posizione perfetta che ci ha permesso di uscire e rientrare anche di sera non solo di giorno. A beautiful oasis in the heart of Marrakech. All the staff were wonderful and friendly. We had two rooms for our family including the Tower room with its fantastic patio space. We loved retreating back to the comfort of the riad at the end of a busy day exploring. Breakfasts were lovely. Ali arranged a few day trips for us while we were there, which we had time to do as we stayed a week - they were fantastic. I would wholly recommend Daniel's riad for anyone wanting to experience authentic surroundings.

Una bouganville e degli alberi di arancio donano bellezza ad un posto già sufficientemente incantevole. L'accoglienza è estremamente piacevole, il personale è molto attento e disponibile. Abbiamo cenato in Riad scegliendo un'ottima pastilla. La cena migliore di tutta la nostra vacanza. Abbiamo inoltre usufruito dei servizi di hammam e massaggio, decisamente piacevoli e professionali. Un'esperienza davvero rilassante e autentica. Daniel, il proprietario, una persona di rara eleganza e raffinatezza. Non avrei dubbi nel consigliare o riconsiderare per futuri viaggi. Marrakech, è un arrivederci.

Ryad el Borj was the ideal start to our first trip to Morocco. From the bustle of the Medina to the quiet and peace of the Ryad was like another world. Daniel and Ali couldn't do enough for us, Daniel taking the time to make recommendations for Marrakech when we arrived and Ali, always smiling, arranging onward transfers for us with no fuss. The Douriya Suite exceeded our expectations, so much so I can't put it into words - it's beautiful! Breakfast on the roof terrace with views of the Atlas Mountains was another unforgettable experience.

Ein wunderschön renoviertes Riad, mit so viel Liebe zum Detail. Eine Wohlfühlen Oase inmitten der lauten, vollen Medina. Mit eigenem Hamam- sehr zu empfehlen. Im Patio steht ein Orangenbaum, auf den diversen Terassen farbenprächtige Bougonvillas, Palmen, Aloe Vera, Kakteen…. Es ist ein kleines Paradies. Daniel, der Inhaber hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns viele wertvolle Tipps gegeben.

L’établissement est très bien situé, proche de la grande place. Le personnel était adorable. Nous avons eu l’occasion de rencontrer le propriétaire très une personne très sympathique. Nous avions demandé un transfert de l’aéroport au Ryad et tout c’est déroule parfaitement bien. Nous avons opté du coup pour le transfert du retour également. Petit déjeuner copieux. Aucun regret à avoir choisit ce Ryad.

I stayed here as a solo traveler for one night before my bus to Essaouira in the morning and wish I could have stayed longer. ( I did try to book again for my return to Marrakech but it was all booked up!) A taxi was booked for me from the airport and the driver walked me to the Riad, which was extremely helpful as a newcomer to Morocco. It was sadly pouring when I arrived but Ali welcomed me with warm tea and turning on the heater in the bathroom for a warm shower. Just what I needed after a long day of traveling. The room and riad itself are beautiful and picturesque. The breakfast was delicious and well prepared by the kind staff. It was truly a lovely stay and I will for sure be back.

We also booked our trips and airport transfer from the riad. All 5 stars experience. The guide to Ourika gave us so much information. The trip to Agafay was a nice experience. The riad is 3 minutes from the main square. It is safe to reach the riad even at night. Many good restaurants near. Great location to explore the city. Wish we stayed more. Will stay here if we ever go back.

The riad is a gem in the center of the medina. Very carefully renovated to maintain the traditional vibe. The rooms are carefully furnished with a lot of attention to details. Świetna lokalizacja, w samym centrum Marrakeszu. Pomimo tego w pokoju było cicho. Jedynie słychać było od czasu do czasu muezina. Śniadania każdego dnia były podobne, ale smaczne. Wszędzie czysto. Bardzo pomocny i sympatyczny personel. Nie było żadnych problemów z dogadaniem się po angielsku. Dużym i bardzo miłym zaskoczeniem był prezent urodzinowy z marokańskimi słodkościami.

Birds sung as they flitted in and out of the open-air space. This was just the first act in what, for us, was a brief but fulfilling stay. The design and decor convey an unfussy attitude and cosmopolitan flair. The room itself had the best bathtub we experienced in Marrakech. And the onsite amenities are unparalleled, including a breakfast that prioritizes freshness in its fruit, pastries, and bread. Excellent Ryad, très bien situé au cœur de la médina proche de tous les lieux touristiques mais dans une rue calme, une fois à l’intérieur on n’a plus l’impression d’être dans la médina ! Décoré avec goût, confortable, excellent petit déjeuné et dîné. Excellent accueil de Daniel le propriétaire et d’Ali, très bon service de Rachid. Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages et profiter du ryad jusqu’à notre départ en début d’après midi. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Un endroit merveilleux à tous points de vue! Nous avons séjourné au Ryad El Borj pendant une semaine en famille (avec nos 2 ados) dans l'annexe du Ryad. Logés dans deux chambres spacieuses, confortables et superbement décorées (les chambres sont encore plus belles que sur le site) avec une vue sur un patio où poussent un oranger et un citronnier immenses. Dépaysés en quelques minutes... Dans le bâtiment principal (magnifiquement restauré et décoré) nous prenions de délicieux petits déjeuners cuisinés sur place chaque matin par une cuisinière marocaine et de longues pause dans l'apres midi sur le roof top dans le calme et la sérénité. L'hôte et toute l'équipe sont d'une grande gentillesse, tous très courtois et disponibles pour dispenser conseils et assistance pour faciliter le séjour. C'est eux qui ont organisé nos transferts aéroport ainsi qu'une excursion avec un chauffeur privé (parfait) Nous avons également profité du Hamman sur place et d'un gommage traditionnel réalisé dans les règles de l'art.. Un séjour formidable! Nous reviendrons!

Onze ervaring in deze riad was fantastisch. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen werden we ontzettend vriendelijk ontvangen. De mensen die er werken zijn echt heel gastvrij en doen er alles aan om je verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Daarnaast was alles super schoon en goed verzorgd. The riad is very nicely maintained, with lots of greenery, orange trees and birds singing among them made us start the days in such a good mood! Even though the weather was a bit cold and rainy, the room was warm enough, hot water, clean towels and changed daily if needed. The wi-fi signal was very good, without interruptions. We also thank Ali, always ready to respond to any requests and who prepared us a packed breakfast on the days when we had to leave early for excursions. We found a lot of understanding from Daniel, the owner of the riad, when due to a change in flight schedule we had to extend our stay by another day. The dinners served here were particularly delicious, we can say that it was the best lemon chicken we ate during our entire vacation in Morocco. The breakfast served in the riad was very tasty, with both sweet products and cheese, butter, yogurt and always fresh bread, orange juice and fruit salad, and the coffee was very good and we will remember it. If we return to Marrakech we will choose Ryad el Borj again.

Stunningly beautiful property. It felt like we were staying in a museum. It was unusually cold when we were there, so we didn’t spend much time on the roof or in the main living quarters, but I can imagine it would be absolutely lovely when it’s warmer. The breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. Also incredibly quiet at night considering how close it was to the main part of the Medina.
Cons: The pillows were a little firm, but that’s very much personal preference, and if you’re a back or side sleeper, it’s probably completely fine.

Purtroppo (o forse no🥹) il volo di ritorno è stato cancellato, e lui gentilmente ci ha offerto un’altra stanza! Abbiamo anche avuto delle piacevoli conversazioni! Avevamo un terrazzino arredato tutto per noi e anche un ulteriore spazio proprio nel punto più alto del Riad, da cui abbiamo potuto goderci uno splendido tramonto. Convenient location near to the main square. We stayed in ‘The petit Riad ‘ across from the main hotel which suited us we had a lovely spacious room with a small sitting room at the entrance. The room was beautiful ‘traditional Moroccan style’. Ali was very welcoming gave us tea and useful information as well as adhering to our requests ensuring our stay was comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious! We would definitely stay here again the main hotel and the petit Riad are both beautiful 😊shame it was raining as we couldn’t make full use of the gorgeous roof top.

Beautifully decorated and peaceful in a central location in the heart of the medina with rooms around a central courtyard and orange trees. We had a private terrace at the top of the building to enjoy the sunshine with views across the roof tops towards the Atlas Mountains. Our hosts and all the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed a delicious evening meal by an open fire at the ryad - the three course vegetarian meal was the best we had in Marrakech. Also loved the hammam and massage.

Le Ryad est très bien placé à 2 minutes à pied de la place Jemaa El Fna, et à peine 10 minutes à pied des différents sites à visiter (Palais Bahia, Jardin secret, Medersa...). Nous avions réservé un taxi directement auprès du Ryad pour effectuer le trajet de l'aéroport de Marrakech au Ryad et, malgré un retard de l'avion, notre taxi nous attendait à la sortie de l'aéroport. Arrivés près de la place Jemaa El Fna, nous avons été pris en charge par un bagagiste qui nous a amené jusqu'au Ryad à pied. Bien appréciable quand on vient pour la première fois à Marrakech ! Tout le personnel du Ryad est très attentionné et de bons conseils. Chambre impeccable et bien décorée. Excellent petit-déjeuner. Bien que très proche de la place Jemaa El Fna, le ryad est un havre de paix. Merci pour votre accueil.

Ryad exceptionnel ! Pour commencer : l'emplacement est idéal, à 5 minutes de la place Jemaa el Fna mais dans une ruelle très calme, et à mi-chemin entre le Nord et le Sud de Marrakech, parfait pour tout explorer ! Le Ryad est immense et bien décoré, avec une belle cour, des salons, plusieurs étages avec les chambres (aucune en rez-de-chaussée, ce qui évite certains désagréments sonores par rapport à d'autres). Le meilleur endroit du ryad : son rooftop, avec une vue dégagée et une autre petite terrasse plus couverte ensoleillée presque toute la journée où nous allions nous détendre les après-midis après avoir exploré et vécu l'animation de la ville le matin. Tout le monde a été aux petits soins avec nous durant notre séjour (même quand on demandait notre 3ème thé de la journée!). À votre arrivée, on vous sert un thé et un petit gâteau traditionnel, nous avons rencontré le propriétaire qui nous a remis un plan personnalisé avec les meilleures adresses et circuits qu'il connaissait et nous a parlé de la ville. Venus pour une occasion spéciale que j'avais mentionnée, nous avons même eu droit à un cadeau et un surclassement de chambre ! Étant étudiants et voyageant pour la première fois avec mon copain, ces surprises nous ont réellement touchés et la chambre que nous avons eue a vraiment fait partie de nos petits bonheurs de ce séjour! Je ne peux que vous recommander le Ryad El Borj, si vous cherchez un endroit tranquille dans le tumulte de la ville, qui saura vous combler de par la chaleur et la gentillesse des personnes qui y travaillent, que par sa beauté, son emplacement, sa vue et ses chambres ! Encore merci à vous, si nous revenons à Marrakech, nous nous ferons une joie de revenir :) En photo la reine des lieux !!

Wir waren als Familie mit Kleinkind im Riad. Die Abholung und die Fahrt zum Riad verliefen reibungslos. Die Kommunikation mit dem Riad war ausgezeichnet, alle Informationen wurden uns zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Service und vor allem das Personal waren ausgezeichnet. Jedem Wunsch wurde entsprochen. Ein großes Lob und Dank an Ali für den sehr freundlichen und professionellen Service, er stand uns stets zur Seite. Das Riad liegt Mitten in der Medina und sehr nah zum Jamaa El Fna. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es sehr ruhig sobald man das Riad betritt. Um das Riad findet man diverse Einkaufs- und Essensmöglichkeiten, alles was das Herz begehrt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und mit viel liebe eingerichtet. Absolute Empfehlung, uns hat es sehr gefallen wir kommen wieder.

Riad bellissimo, Daniel è una persona meravigliosa che riesce a farti sentire a casa. I suoi consigli e le sue attenzioni sono stati preziosissimi per questo soggiorno e lo ringraziamo tantissimo per la sua ospitalità. Lo staff è composto da persone sorridenti e super attente ad ogni esigenza. La camera spaziosa e confortevole e la colazione servita in terrazza è fantastica. La cena marocchina presso il Ryad è Superlativa. Ottima la posizione. Torneremo sicuramente a trovare Daniel e il suo staff.

La perfetta accoglienza nella bellissima Marrakech. Questa struttura, locata all'interno della Medina ma in un certo senso isolata dal caos giornaliero, ha tutto quello che di meglio si possa avere. Abbiamo dormito in una palazzina limitrofa, all'interno di una stanza classica di primo livello. Colazione abbondante e buona. Abbiamo voluto anche provare il pranzo, che molto probabilmente è stato il migliore in terra marocchina: una tajine di cous cous, carne e verdure. Staff incredibile, che ci ha supportato molto

Amazing stay at a beautiful Riad. Communication prior to booking was phenomenal with Daniel, and during our stay Ali was brilliant. Room was lovely, breakfast was great. Transfers to and from airport were arranged by Riad.

Siamo stati ospiti qualche giorno in questo splendido Riad. Un piccolo paradiso di quiete a due passi dal caos della piazza principale. Posizione fantastica per raggiungere tutto ciò che è da visitare. Il Riad è veramente splendido e ben tenuto, noi abbiamo soggiornato nella magnifica Suite Douirya. Daniel è un eccellente padrone di casa, persona squisita che ci ha accolto come se fossimo amici di lunga data. Ha saputo darci dei preziosi consigli su cosa vedere, escursioni, ristoranti ecc. Una sera abbiamo deciso di cenare nella struttura ed è stata una delle cene migliori di Marrakech ad un prezzo onestissimo. Lui e i suoi collaboratori sono sicuramente un plus di questa dimora. Splendida la terrazza dove viene servita la colazione.
Cons: Una nota negativa era il divano letto non proprio comodissimo. La colazione servita in terrazza è un plus ma essere a 7/8 gradi seppur coperti non è sempre apprezzabile. La colazione è buona ma abbastanza basica rispetto agli standard italiani.

This is an absolutely wonderful property. Daniel is an exceptional host and offered a warm welcome in his beautiful courtyard. The room was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in and the whole place could easily be featured in the pages of a design magazine. It's also a very easy walk to the main square.

Daniel è un padrone di casa eccezionale, molto accogliente e ti fa sentire come fossi a casa. Il riad è in una splendida posizione a tre minuti a piedi dalla piazza ma al tempo stesso in un vicolo che rende l'ambiente silenzioso. Le camere sono pulite, letti comodi, colazione in terrazza. Cena ottima marocchina con un tocco italiano e francese che la rende speciale. Lo consiglio vivamente. Se dovessi tornare a Marrakech andrei di sicuro nuovamente da lui

On our final day in Morocco, we had the joy of staying at Riad El Borj, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable trip. After weaving through the vibrant, bustling market streets, we stepped into the riad and were instantly enveloped in peace and tranquility - a true oasis in the heart of the medina. From the moment we arrived, Daniel and Ali welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we felt like we were visiting old friends. Their hospitality was genuine and heartfelt, and it set the tone for a truly special stay. We stayed in one of the suites, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Our jaws literally dropped when we saw the space - it was exquisitely decorated, spacious, and felt like a private sanctuary. The attention to detail in the decor is stunning: traditional, thoughtful, and completely Instagram-worthy. Dinner at the riad was a highlight - fresh, plentiful, and delicious, showcasing the best of Moroccan cuisine. Breakfast was equally satisfying, and we left feeling nourished and relaxed, especially after enjoying the hammam and massage - a luxurious treat that made us feel like we were walking on clouds. The riad is also home to two rescue cats and some tortoises, which absolutely delighted our 15-year-old. It added a charming, homely touch to an already magical place. Location-wise, it’s ideal - right in the heart of the markets, yet tucked away in a peaceful corner where you can escape the hustle and bustle whenever needed. It truly offers the best of both worlds. If you are considering booking Riad El Borj, do it. You will not be disappointed. Unser Aufenthalt im Ryad El Borj war von Anfang bis Ende fantastisch. Das Ryad organisierte bereits die Taxifahrt vom Flughafen zum Ryad. Unsere Räumlichkeiten waren ein Traum. 1001 Nacht!!! Es war herrlich. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse jeden Tag frisch und authentisch. Das Personal immer freundlich. Die Hauskatze bezaubernd. Ein Hamam sowie Massage können dazu gebucht werden. Insgesamt ein himmlischer Ort der Stille - auch wenn man innerhalb weniger Minuten mitten im Getümmel ist. Wir konnten alle Besichtigungen innerhalb von Marrakesch erlaufen. Der Gastgeber Daniel ist sehr zuvorkommend, hat immer einen Tip für gute Restaurants und Ausflüge. Wir hoffen eines Tages zurück kommen zu können. Wenn Marrakesch dann auf jeden Fall ins Ryad El Borj!

Siamo stati in coppia portando per la prima volta mia madre di 83 anni in viaggio con noi e la scelta è stata davvero ottima, considerata l esclusiva accoglienza piena di premure e coccole anche nei confronti di mia madre da parte del titolare e di tutto lo staff. Daniel's il titolare del Ryad una persona squisita che ha reso il nostro soggiorno al Ryad e a Marrakech prezioso grazie ai suoi consigli e alle attenzioni nei nostri confronti. Un elogio ad Alì che col suo sorriso ci ha accolto nel Ryad,ai camerieri e alla cuoca da dieci e lode che ci ha deliziato nelle cene al Ryad,niente da invidiare ai ristoranti di Marrakech anzi... Ci siamo sentiti in famiglia. La Struttura bellissima e altrettanto accogliente e pulita.Ottimo il servizio e la colazione. Devo ammettere ripeterei l esperienza a Marrakech solo per ricevere e riabbracciare Daniel's e il suo staff.

Cons: I am particularly fussy with the showers. I don’t like for the water to takes it’s time to go through the drain. But it might a thing in old buildings. Smell of cigarettes when entering the reception. But also I am particular about that. I mind. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Depaysement assuré! Très beau Ryad, très bon accueil. Nous étions logés dans l'annexe, avec petite piscine, beaucoup de végétation, chant des oiseaux. On se demande où on arrive mais une fois la porte franchie c'est formidable, calme et dépaysant. Accueil très chaleureux. Notre retour à l'aéroport très tôt le matin a été entièrement pris en charge, avec en plus un petit déjeuner à emporter, bien copieux!
Cons: Le Ryad est en plein coeur de la Médina, c'est un très bon emplacement mais pas facile à trouver! On se demande un peu où on arrive. C'est mieux d'être prévenu...un petit plan d'accès pourrait être sympa pour éviter de se perdre!

This Ryad has a 'secret garden' feel to it. It is fantastically located near the main square and many sightseeing locations, but super quiet. We had a great breakfast on our first morning there - after that the tours we had booked meant that we couldn't sit on the terrace to enjoy it but Ali made sure we had a packed breakfast instead. The room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of space to hang clothing. Daniel is a true gentleman who made the time to go to the train station to greet us when we arrived, although we missed each other on that occasion we caught up over the next few days. He had also organised our transfer and porter from the train station. Ali and the other staff members were also so helpful and kind and answered our 101 questions with patience. This is a very special Ryad!

Décoration très soignée, propriétaire de forts bons conseils et très disponible. Personnel adorable, terrasses au 2ème etage superbes et extrêmement fleuries !! Petit-dejeuners divins, copieux, et différents chaque matin.
Cons: Dommage que le bassin soit situé dans un petit riad annexe à 2 ruelles de là...et non sur la terrasse supérieure du riad principal .

Det finns ingen restaurang, men de fixar middag på beställning. Mycket gott och fint dukat. Väldigt god frukost. Härlig miljö. Många trappor, så inget för den som har svårt för det. Fantastisk utsikt från takaltanen. Väldigt trevlig och genuina rum. Väldigt hård säng. Kan varmt rekommendera stället. Ägaren fixade en guide till oss. Bra att få en rundvandring i Medinan, annars svårt att hitta guldkornen.
Cons: Personligen tyckte jag sängen och kudden var för hårda, men det är ju en smaksak. I övrigt är jag väldigt nöjd.

They made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. We were given a map and lots of information on places to visit and the local restaurants. Thoughtful and accommodating.
Cons: Poor lighting in the stairwell made negotiating the stairs at night a little tricky. No plug for the bathroom sink. Very minor issues which did not spoil our stay in any way.

Nous avons passé un séjour vraiment agréable en famille au Riad El Borj. L’endroit est magnifique, très propre, et idéalement situé dans la médina. Le personnel est adorable, toujours souriant et attentionné. La piscine est agréable et parfaite pour se détendre après une journée de balade en ville. Mais le gros plus c’est le petit déjeuner servi jusqu’à 11h du matin !!!! C’est du jamais vu !!! Pour pouvoir prendre son temps le matin, c’est un vrai luxe !!!

Room was great with aircon and an amazing private terrace with stunning views of the Koutoubia Mosque at night. Airport transfers and Medina tour were wonderful. Breakfast was fantastic. La ubicación perfecta, muy cerca de la plaza jemaa el fna, pero es muy tranquilo, dentro no se oye nada! La piscinita no está en el propio hotel pero está a dos calles, muy cerquita. El desayuno está muy rico y es abundante. El personal del hotel muy amable, tuvimos una urgencia y nos ayudaron a solucionarlo.
Cons: Hay escaleras dentro del riad, por lo que no es cómodo para alguien con movilidad reducida.

The ryad was beautiful and a lovely calm oasis after a busy day exploring the city. The location was excellent and it was straight forward to arrange a taxi to and from the airport through Daniel. The room we stayed in was perfect, clean, cool and conformable and had lots of character and individual touches - the fresh roses were lovely! Daniel met us on our first day and took the time to explain the areas and recommend both places to visit and cafes and restaurants to try (which we did!). The breakfast was lovely and a nice mix of fruit, yoghurt, bread and pastries plus lovely fresh juice, tea and coffee. There is a lovely roof terrace in the ryad and also a plunge pool close by which we enjoyed. All the staff we met during our stay were so kind, welcoming and helpful...thank you, we loved our stay at El Borj and would highly recommend.

Ein paar Schritte vom Trubel des Marktplatzes entfernt , kann man sich nicht vorstellen , dass sich hinter der niedrigen Holztür in der dunklen Gasse ein Traum von 1001 Nacht eröffnet. Sehr stilvolles Riad mit antiken , kunstvollen Einrichtungsgegenständen . Ein Traum der Innenhof , der im Sommer durch die Orangenbäume Schatten spendet, ebenso wie die gepflegte wunderschöne Dachterrasse . Wir hatten die beiden Turmzimmer , das obere hatte sogar eine eigene Dachterrasse mit Rundum- Blick über die Dächer von Marrakesch . Personal sehr freundlich und höflich , Frühstück top . Alles sehr sauber und geschmackvoll. Ein paar Häuser weiter ein Nebengebäude mit verwunschenem Hof und ein Pool zum Abkühlen .

El Riad esta super cerca de todo, el personal es un encanto. Tienen varios edificios por lo que quizás te alojes en una habitación separada de la piscina pero te dejan ir en cualquier momento. Ademas tienen alli una ducha y toallas por si necesitas usarla. Nuestro vuelo salia por la noche y nos dejaron quedarnos en las zonas comunes hasta que quisieramos. ¡Muchisimas gracias por todo!

Il Riad è bellissimo, in 5 minuti, forse meno, sei nella piazza principale. Noi avevamo la suite, meravigliosa!! C’erano persino due bagni. La colazione viene servita nella terrazza, ottima. Daniel conosce benissimo l’italiano ed è una persona con la quale è piacevolissimo chiacchierare. C’è sempre qualcuno a cui rivolgersi se si ha bisogno di qualcosa e, per il trasporto, c’è Alì che ci ha portate all’aeroporto. Non potevamo stare meglio di così, lo consiglio decisamente!!

This little “hotel” was like walking into a petit palace. The inner courtyard was beautiful with an orange tree in the middle and various seating around. Each room is decorated in traditional Moroccan decor and the tile work throughout the hotel is spectacular. The owner greeted us and treated us to snacks and traditional mint tea and conversation. The staff were welcoming and it really felt like you were family. We absolutely loved it!

The location is great, 2 min walk to the hustle and bustle of Jemaa el-fnaa - but still tucked away on a side street as to not get any street noise. Consiglio assolutamente questa struttura, per la posizione, la pulizia, la gentilezza di tutto lo staff e la cortesia di Daniel che subito il primo giorno ci ha dato informazioni su come muoverci in città. Chiedete il transfer che vi propone la struttura piuttosto che prendere un taxi all'aeroporto (o peggio ancora prenotare su booking come abbiamo fatto noi). Tutti i taxi vi lasciano nelle vicinanze della piazza e poi non è facile il primo giorno trovare il riad, è un pochino nascosto. Daniel oltre al taxi vi farà accompagnare nel breve tratto a piedi fino al riad.

From start to finish we had a wonderful stay at Ryad El Borj. The owner Daniel was very friendly and gave us helpful directions because we were arriving at a time when taxis cannot get too close to that part of the Medina. Upon arrival we were served a refreshing mint tea and Daniel offered some excellent recommendations for things to do and see, and places to eat during our stay. The riad is very well located for exploring Marrakech and although close to the main square it offers a peaceful and relaxing respite from all the hustle and bustle. We stayed in the Tower Suite which I would highly recommend, and we were served an excellent breakfast every morning on the terrace. Ali and the rest of the team were very courteous and helpful and we felt so welcome that I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Nous avons passé de superbes vacances, merci Daniel et vos équipe!

La decoración impresiona, por no hablar del Ryad en sí como casa antigua espectacular. Cada recoveco tiene algún detalle singular. La azotea, ya sea para desayunar o para terminar el día, es magnífica. La ubicación: inmejorable. Al lado del zoco y de la plaza principal pero al mismo tiempo en un sitio tranquilo sin ruidos por las noches. Limpísimo todo. Tienen un gato llamado Kika que es precioso, respetuoso con los huéspedes y saladísimo. Sin duda nos volveríamos a alojar si regresásemos a Marrakech. Shukran!

El trato y el recibimiento fue excepcional, nos informaron con amabilidad, simpatía y cercanía. Además nos "tranquilizaron respecto al choque cultural": Es una ciudad segura. La habitación era de ensueño, no le faltaba un detalle, nos daba la sensación de estar en una suite con unas vistas únicas. El desayuno también es fabuloso, completo, equilibrado y sano.
Cons: Por decir algo, diría que le cama puede resultar dura, pero después de un día de viaje o de excursión, descansas bien. La entrada de noche prácticamente no se ve, tienes que ir muy atento.

We loved the beautiful plants/trees and traditional decor; it felt like we had stepped into a travel brochure! Would recommend having a meal at the Ryad, it was such a treat, a romantic setting and excellent value. we also bought a bottle of wine with our meal. Our room had its own patio area to sit. The room and en-suite were much bigger than I expected and clean. The pool in the courtyard just down the lane was refreshing and would be a real bonus on a hot day. Breakfast starts at 8am, so if you have a tour booked at 8.30 you also have the option to take a wrapped breakfast. We just about managed to finish eating before leaving for our tours. On the last day we had plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast as we had some free time. The hosts were lovely people who made us feel most welcome and I will recommend this riad to our friends. Just to note, apart from watching your feet when motorbikes are passing you in the narrow lanes of the medina, we found Marrakech to feel safe and we didn't feel intimidated or harassed in the souks or the main square. All the people we met were kind and friendly in the city.
Cons: Just a personal choice but two pillows each would be good and possibly a kettle for coffee or tea in the room. Also, a duvet rather than blankets over the sheet may be more practical. Breakfast starting at 7.45 would have been useful if a busy day is planned.

Uno dei Riad migliori in cui abbiamo soggiornato in Marocco. La gentilezza a la cura dello staff sono ineccepibili! La struttura è meravigliosa e molto pulita e ci si sente veramente accolti come a casa. Siamo stati 3 giorni nel Riad per festeggiare il mio compleanno e siamo stati trattati come dei principi, il proprietario mi ha regalato dei pasticcini deliziosi! Punto bonus la colazione, che è decisamente la migliore che abbiamo abbiamo provato durante il nostro viaggio in Marocco!

We stayed in lots of different riads across Marrakesh and I have to say, this riad was the cheapest and the most spectacular one we’ve stayed. We chose the tower bedroom with the private terrace and it was so so lovely! Full of decor details that I will definitely take as inspiration for my home. The staff and the owner, Daniel, were beyond amazing! I will definitely come back and stay for longer.

Questo ryad e' fantastico a partire da quando si arriva: si entra in un luogo incantato di quiete e ci si ritrova cullati dalla splendida accogliienza, fatta di piccoli ma importanti gesti (il thè, il dolcino, l'acqua) Ogni stanza, poi, e' arredata con gusto e arricchita da tessuti e oggetti tipici della cultura marocchina. We had the most amazing stay at Ryad El Borj. I truly have never felt so at peace in a hotel before. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, old Moroccan style. The bedroom was lovely, clean and beautifully decorated with a big bathroom. The breakfast was delicious with exceptional service. Although the ryad is located right in the centre of the medina, it's completely quiet and all you can hear are the birds singing. A truly magical stay here and I will definitely be back soon!

Il riad è in una posizione eccellente rispetto alla piazza principale El Fnaa, praticamente a pochi passi, ma comunque discretamente tranquillo e comodo da raggiungere, immerso veramente nella Medina più storica. La cena preparata dallo staff è stata ottima. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è eccellente.

Un remanso de paz dentro de la bulliciosa medina de Marrakech. La atención por parte Ali como de Daniel fue magnífica. Nos facilitaron el traslado desde y hacia el aeropuerto, nos dieron todo tipo de consejos sobre restaurantes, compras y actividades, y además Daniel nos proporcionó muy agradables momentos de conversación. Las habitaciones son cómodas y están bien decoradas. Además tuvimos la suerte de contar con la suite: espaciosa, luminosa y muy bonita. La primera noche de nuestra estancia cenamos en el riad un abundante y exquisito cous cous, con el que podríamos habernos mantenido los tres días de nuestra estancia. Un alojamiento totalmente recomendable

E’ stato il mio primo viaggio in solitaria e tutto lo staff e’ stato molto cordiale e disponibile. Mi hanno davvero coccolato con consigli e indicazioni. Colazione genuina e abbondante con una vista meravigliosa dei monti Atlante e del riad stesso. Consiglio la cena tipica e l’hammam in struttura. Consiglio vivamente!

Fantastic location, right in the depths of the Medina, but strangely quiet and peaceful once inside! The owner, Daniel, and the manager, Ali, were brilliantly helpful, as were all of the staff we met during our stay. our room was amazing and had the luxury of a private balcony with both a bistro set and a pair of sun loungers. The room is decorated in an eclectic style, quite unique.
Cons: There was an initial issue with our booking, but Daniel took immediate personal care of this in the most charming manner! So not really a dislike!

A most enjoyable stay. The location was perfect. Quiet but still in close proximity to the Medina and Souks. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower fantastic (hot and powerful) and room spacious. Wonderful breakfast with confident and longer service hours. And to top it all off the owner and manager were perfect hosts and all staff friendly and helpful. This place has everything you could want for a memorable holiday. We will definitely be returning.

Quiet, private, and tranquil, yet only steps away from the bustle of the square, and around the corner from some of the best restaurants around. Nosotras nos quedamos en el petit ryad, y es precioso, mucha tranquilidad, buenísima ubicación (a 5' de la plaza principal) y sobre todo la amabilidad del personal, cuidan todos los detalles, nos ayudaron muchísimo, estaban siempre pendientes y con la mejor sonrisa y disposición. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, a partire dalla disponibilità e gentilezza dello staff (siamo partiti e arrivati a orari improbabili della notte) e del proprietario Daniel (che tra l’altro parla perfettamente italiano) con cui abbiamo fatto una bellissima chiacchierata e che ci ha dato un sacco di consigli sulla città. This is a beautiful Riad right in the heart of the Medina but down a quiet side street with no shops. 3 minutes walk to the main square and souks yet totally quiet and peaceful at night. Daniel was great at providing us with all the info we needed and arranged a taxi & porter. Ali was always available and keen to help every day and organised a day trip to Ouzoud waterfalls for us. Our room was spotless. Breakfast was delicious and we took this on the roof terrace which was warm enough once the sun had come up. A really fabulous stay.

The Riad is beautiful and in a convenient location in the market but off the busy street so it was quiet. Ali and the other staff were kind and took good care of us. One morning we were running late for a tour and they even chased us out the door to give us breakfast. They also accommodated my gluten allergy with delicious breads, cake, pancakes, and crepes.
Cons: The bathroom smelled of mildew, one day we returned to a broken toilet, and our sheets and towels were stripped 30 minutes before our checkout time and while our things were still in the room.

Stayed here for 4 nights and it's one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. It was a little oasis of calm and serenity midst the noise & hussle and bustle of marrakech. It's literally right in the middle of the souks and the main square, but as soon as you enter the riad, the silence and calm is a beautiful contrast to the noise of the medina. It's also like staying in a work of art. It's so beautifully & thoughtfully decorated. And the roof terrace was just perfect. Had breakfast out there every morning & the memory of looking out over marrakech and hearing the call to prayer will stay with me forever. Ali also organised taxi and porter to and from the airport which made the transfer so, so easy. Couldn't recommend this place more. It made our holiday and location just perfect.

We have stayed in total 4 nights at the Ryad El Borj, 2 nights in the petit Ryad and 2 nights in the main Ryad. We had an amazing time and we loved all about this charming and quiet place. The location is directly in the Medina at the main market place. We enjoyed at a lot to enter the Ryad after a busy and loud day we had on the streets of Marrakech. The breakfast was exceptional, they didn’t let any wish open for us and it was always fresh. We were having also dinner for one night at the Ryad (you need to tell in the morning for an extra price) which was perfect for us as well! The host surprised us with a typical moroccan meal after we gave him some key words (type of meat, type of side dish). The staff was always friendly and helpful with everything we needed for our stay! Overall I just can recommend this Ryad for a stay in Marrakech and will definitely stay here again anytime.

Çok güzel bir tasarımı var.
Cons: 3 kişi seyahat ettiğimiz için 10 yaşındaki oğlumun kaldığı odadaki yatakta üst üste çok battaniye örtülmüştü. Bazı örtüler çocuğun üstünden kaydığı için üşümüş kalktı. Bence kanepe yatak olarak kullanılacaksa mutlaka düzgün bir yorgan olmalı. Onu dışında otel mükemmele yakındı. Keşke zamanımız olsaydı da daha çok kalabilseydik.

Beautiful riad with great facilities - the rooms were so lovely and comfortable, the nicest we’ve stayed at in Marrakech and very affordable too. Lots of shared spaces including a swimming pool and courtyard. Daniel was very welcoming and even gave us packed breakfast to take for our early flight home! We will definitely return. Thank you!!

La posizione nel centro della medina, la camera molto grande e con tutti i comfort, belle le terrazze e il cortile interno. Daniel e il suo staff sempre gentili e disponibili. La colazione molto buona. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, alles (!) war super, besonders die Freundlichkeit und das Engagement der Mitarbeiter und die tolle Lage, das wunderbar leckere Frühstück und Abendessen, vielen vielen Dank, wir empfehlen sehr gern weiter bzw. kommen wieder!

Il contesto curato nei dettagli L’accoglienza magnifica e non solo anche cibo, servizio per la colazione… L’eleganza di Daniel che con le sue narrazioni ci ha accolto e guidato nell’esperienza Non vi dimenticheremo quindi torneremo!

Dopo aver soggiornato due notti a La Mamounia ed una notte nel deserto di Agafy siamo finalmente arrivati in quest’oasi di pace e familiarità nel cuore della Medina.L’attenzione ai dettagli che il sig.Daniel ha riservato nel ristrutturare ed arredare questo autentico Riad e’ meritevole di menzione e la scelta di cenare all’interno del Riad ci ha regalato il miglior pollo all’arancia e la migliore zuppa di carote mai mangiata. Scegliere questo posto e’ stata la cosa più autentica di tutto il nostro viaggio e sicuramente quella che più ci ricorderemo. Perché ciò’ che rende speciale un viaggio alla fine sono le persone che si incontrano.Perciò un grazie al sig.Daniel e tutto il suo staff di cuore.

Tout ! De l accueil à la chambre avec vue sur les hauteurs de Marrakech en passant par l excellent petit déjeuner ainsi que les très bons conseils de notre hote ! Absolument tout était parfait !!!!!

Wir hatten ein Riad im Riad. Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse. Zentrale Lage nahe dem Hauptplatz. Transfer von der Autovermietung und zum Flughafen wurde organisiert.
Cons: Etwas hellhörig und ein Schlafzimmer zur Straße hin.
