The Riad has amazing staff! Both of the Hichams were so lovely and all the staff made us feel so comfortable and reassured. The breakfast in the morning was beautiful, the room was great. It was very clean and this riad exceeded our expectations. Whenever we needed something the staff were so attentive to our requests and always made us feel safe. I could not recommend this Riad more!!

I loved this beautiful, tranquil, calm riad, a real haven of peace & calm away from the hustle of the souks and the main square. My room was simple, but absolutely perfect, it had everything I needed. A comfy bed, clean, bottled water, wardrobe and a nice shower. It was in a great location within easy walking distance of everything and as a solo traveller I felt safe no matter what time of day or night! It was also easy for taxi pick ups & drop offs. Hicham from the riad was amazing, he was in contact straight away to make sure I had everything I need and even found me a better balloon ride with a much earlier time to make sure I didn’t miss the sunrise - perfect! Can’t rate the place enough, the dipping pool on the roof was perfect to cool off, read a book or just take in the surroundings. The food was amazing and I love, love, loved my lamb tagine! Just perfect!

I left too early in the morning to have a breakfast I was only there for one night Petals in the room does not make it a boutique hotel!

Cons: The shower was ridiculous It had no retaining wall so the water went everywhere The room was very small for a relatively large (and more expensive than most) riad

The location was OK but a bit of a hike to the main square. The breakfast was pretty good but despite asking for scrambled eggs each day I was given an omelette each day. All eggs, I guess!! The very best thing about this Riad was the excellent staff.

Cons: My room was in the annexe and not the main Riad area, which was disappointing, after all, I wanted the Riad experience. Being located in the Medina means that transport cannot get right to the property and you will have to walk the last 100m. It is a 950m walk to the centre of the main square through the narrow and very busy alleyways. Late night/early morning group arrivals woke me a couple of evenings because of their noisy talking. My room was in a kind of annexe under the roof terrace and each night there was a drumming show which meant no sleep until it finished at 10pm. Then the call to prayer kept me awake as we were close to the local Mosque along with the staff putting the chairs back in position after the show and ready for breakfast, scraping on the concrete. It was not the fault of the staff. This Riad can accommodate close to 100 people!!!!

The staff were super friendly, and the food was very good. The Riad is clean, beautifully decorated, and the beds were really comfortable. The location was also excellent, easy to get around and close to key attractions.

Cons: The Riad is charming, but our experience was affected by a few issues. Our room had no window, which made it feel a bit closed in, and it was located next to the stairs, so it was quite noisy at times. There was also a lot of light coming in through small windows above the door, which made it difficult to sleep. Unfortunately, the shower wasn’t working properly during our stay.

This Riad was a beautiful blend of tradition and tranquility. We were welcomed and introduced to Marrakech by Omar whihc was a warm and friendly start to our trip. A serene courtyard filled with Moroccan details. The rooms were thoughtfully decorated. The rooftop was nice, with panoramic views of the city and Atlas Mountains in the distance. The staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. A truly magical escape.

Cons: The food wasn't 10/10 because it was quite a basic selection each morning of Moroccan style pancakes and cakes.

We really loved the atmosphere. It was so calming and relaxing. We were two girls scared in the new city with a new rules, but the employees calmed us down with a delicious tea and welcoming atmosphere. They were always there for us when we needed something or wanted to know something, or they recomended us some trips as well. The place have really nice rooftop with amazing view. The food is really good there we looooved the breakfasts. They always took care of us asking how was your day? everything all right? and so on. It was nicely close to the center. It was amazing experience and we recomend this riad.🥰🥰

Staying here was perfect for a short trip. The location was great as it was easily accessible to all main attractions by foot, and it was easy to find being on a well lit street that had landmarks we could use as a guide. We absolutely loved trying the traditional Moroccan breakfast and thought it was great to get a range of food to set you up for the day. The Riad was a perfect space for tranquillity after exploring the loud, bustling streets of Marrakech. every time I stepped into the Riad the space had a comforting relaxing smell due to the spa and it really made it feel at home in a place so new to us. Note to anyone booking - Riads tend to be like huge guest houses and so you can hear quite a bit in your room with outside noise, however everyone was respectful at night. If you're a light sleeper take ear buds because the call to prayer can be quite loud and you would be situated right next to a mosque. We went during Ramadan therefore, the call to prayer was even earlier. The food is great, if you're looking to grab a post flight meal whilst waiting for your room to be ready! In particular the Pastilla if you like sweet and savoury combined!! Finally - the staff were INCREDIBLE, I have never been anywhere where the hospitality is that exceptional - huge thanks particularly to Hicham and Omar - they were extremely helpful and welcoming. They ensured we arrived safely to the Riad and back to the airport too and give you the most fantastic welcome when you arrive.

Cons: The shower room was quite small, but it was still clean and was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. There is not much natural light in the rooms due to the layout, but you can open your shutters for a little bit. However, we didn't spend much time in our room apart from to sleep, shower and get ready! We spent most of the time on the wonderful rooftop :)

Position central in the Medina and near the main attractions. Staff available to help and support. Clean room.

Cons: No place to enjoy dinner indoor during winter time; At the beginning it was assigned to us a very small room that after 2 days we asked to change for a more confortable one. ( if we hadn't had the change the price would not have been suitable .. pay attention to the room assigned) Dinner menu is fine and good but for max 2/3 days

I spent my first night in Marrakech here before going on a tour and I was not disappointed. The riad is beautifully decorated, very pretty and cozy, it’s located in a convenient area for drop-off and pick-up and the staff were very welcoming. The room I got was comfortable and perfect for me, everything functioned properly and the rooftop terrace was lovely. I had my dinner there after a fantastic sunset with the colors and sounds of the Marrakech medina. As I had to leave early in the morning, the staff arranged a little breakfast takeaway for me and helped me get to the meeting point for my trip.

Cons: If I had to complain about anything, it would be the loudness of other guests in the corridors. My neighbors had quite loud conversations across the hallway from one room to another in the evening, instead of literally just stepping closer to eachother and keeping their voices down a little. So absolutely no fault at all of the staff or management, just other people who don’t understand the concept of respect in these houses that are usually not soundproofed. That’s the character of a riad, I find it baffling how some guests don’t have more consideration.

The staff was truly exceptional—kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The breakfast, while simple, was fresh, generous, and delicious. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly each day, ensuring a comfortable and tidy environment.

Cons: Our room was uncomfortably small, with a cramped atmosphere, and the bathroom was in need of renovation. The air conditioning unit malfunctioned during the night, disrupting our comfort. Additionally, the property was quite noisy, with sounds from neighboring rooms easily audible. The proximity to a nearby mosque meant that the early morning call to prayer was clearly heard; light sleepers might consider using earplugs. The spa massage experience was underwhelming, feeling both average and rushed. While the location within the medina is standard for most riads, it occasionally felt unsafe. Moreover, taxis are either unable or unwilling to enter the medina, necessitating a walk of at least 10 minutes to the main square to find transportation.

The Riad is very pretty and stylish and our room was quite clean but the staff rudely told us no when we asked to take our mint tea in our room when we arrived.

Cons: The staff were very slow to check us in and made us wait in the lobby at a table with used cups and dishes on it after we said we were tired and wanted to go out to dinner. The breakfast was okay but the coffee was bad. We had massages which were overpriced at £50pp and done in a cold basement just beyond the staff quarters with the door open. There was a smell of dirty water in our room. The transfers to the airport were expensive at €20 each way.

Beautiful Riad. Everything was clean and looked like the pictures shown. Do not hesitate to book here, we loved our visit and will be back! The location is very great, right next to the Ben Salah Mosque which was a good point to put into maps so you don’t get lost, 10 minute walk to the square. We want to give a special shout out to Hachem and Omar, but overall every single member that worked here was friendly, always open to have a chat with you and talk to you and help with anything you needed, thank you for making our trip so special❤️🙏🏼

It was an amazing Riad with the balcony & rooftop view. They celebrate our arrival with a cup of mint tea. We were feeling, we were at home. It is almost walking distance from the road to every tourist place. We were with our 3 year old son. The staff were very friendly with him. Moroccan people are very kind. Breakfast was also good.

Cons: We only need to walk to the riad for 5 minutes. Cause a taxi or cab can't enter that riad. Which was fine, if you call them they can help you to pick up from the taxi. They are helpful. The noise was horrible, The first midnight dog & cat were crying in the morning prayer was loud.

A traditional riad in the heart of the Medina so the rooms were small and quite basic but the atmosphere and welcome more than made up for that. Breakfast was a lovely selection of local dishes served on the rooftop terrace (a little chilly at 9:00am so take a jumper). The hotel arranged an airport transfer for us which worked smoothly - being in the Medina the taxi couldn't get to the front door so a member of staff came to meet us and guide us. We were made to feel very welcome right from the start - all the staff were unfailingly helpful and friends, special mention to Mohammed and Abdelajlil. We had a great time.

Cons: We had a lovely room on the top floor but beware the music every night on the rooftop terrace can make it tricky to sleep.

Cons: This accommodation unfortunately really has not been the best. As other reviews state the Riad is incredibly loud and we hardly slept, making me very glad we only stayed one night. On top of this our room was extremely basic, the bed uncomfortable, the bathroom was just a poorly tiled cell with no proper shower curtain or sink and there were no windows. The breakfast was below average at best, there were not enough mugs to grab a (self-service) coffee and service was extremely slow. We were here to celebrate both our anniversary and very recent engagement and I can only say I’m glad we had such superb other accommodation throughout our trip to make up for this experience. For the same price you can get SIGNIFICANTLY better accommodation in the area.

Riad Samir is the heaven on earth, without joke. I am so happy that i choose this Riad. I like everything there. Everything was very clean, very beautiful riad and staff is super friendly, i am inlove with them. Abdeljalil u make our stay so comfortable and thank u everyone that anytime u were ready to help us. Location is the best, very close to Jemaa Elfna square and a lot of locations. This is center of Medina. Wifi was working also very good and rooftop was also very very beautiful. Thank u Riad Samir for everything, i didnot wanted to go.

The traditional breakfast was tasty, varied and filling. The location was in the Medina with everything within an easy walk

Cons: Nothing within the Riad, however, The main problem within the whole of the Medina is the extreme pollution caused by the multitude of motorcycles, they are everywhere in abundance and the fumes in the still air is disturbing. Without a doubt, the pollution would prevent us from returning to marrakech

I enjoyed my stay very much. Although I stayed for only one day at the Riad, before arriving, I requested a hamam plus massage for me and my partner, which the staff very kindly organized to fit our busy schedule. The room was clean, comfortable, and adorable. The ambiance is so peaceful and quiet, especially considering how central the riad is in Marrakesh. Also, upon hearing we would be checking out at 6 am on the next day, the staff prepared a to-go breakfast for us to take to the airport with us, which was very considerate and kind.

Cons: The only thing I did not enjoy was that one of the employees was kind of weird. He was not necessarily rude, but when we arrived, we were asking questions to understand the check-in process, and he would just ask us to be calm and wait without actually answering any of our questions.

Beautiful Riad in the heart of the medina. Staff were fantastic and were very welcoming and helpful- provided us with a map and recommendations, printed boarding passes etc. Breakfast was different every day

Cons: Like other reviews have said, the riad is loud - we could hear pretty much everything and you are woken early. Don't expect leisurely long lies - take ear plugs! The bathroom (standard room) was v basic eg had to hold shower head above.

Apart from the beautiful accommodation, the great location and good food, we were mostly pleased with how we got treated by the personnel and to be specific, Abdessamad. Amazing guy who cared for us, had us switch rooms because I’m not the best sleeper, helped us out on the phone when we had trouble finding the way. We would come back just to visit him again.

Staff was very friendly, location was good, in the center of Marrakech Medina. The rooms were clean, the staff cleaned them every morning. The common spaces were really cool and pretty.

Cons: Friendly note: Marrakech Medina looks like a place from 100 years ago, with very poor people and buildings that look lik they are gonna fall anytime. (Very authentic😄). Please beware of this, so you’re not shocked. The breakfast is not a swedish buffet, there was a standard, not very diversified menu, every morning. The smell in the room is not very breathable due to high humidity, but I think this is normal for all riads. You get used to it in a few minutes. There are two pools, but both are very small and you can’t really swim in them, only play for a little bit.

The place is instagrammable and the location is great, but that’s basically it.

Cons: The staff gave us an advice where to park. The parking staff called the hotel and brought us to the riad. We tipped the parking staff generous, but they didn’t find it enough and became intimidating. The staff of the riad didn’t do anything about it! They just stood there and they even asked us for money, to give it to them later. We were road-tripping for two weeks by then and have never experienced such a weird situation before. Then we got a map, which was helpful, but also a sales talk about tours we could book. About the breakfast: the breakfast isn’t good at all. There are only sweet things. And a lot of the dishes are very dry. Also, our room was never cleaned while we there. The shower didn’t have a curtain, so a lot of water just went right into our room. Above that, they were doing construction next to our room, so if we wanted to get out of the busyness of Marrakech, we couldn’t because of all the noise. I also think that the discount they offer is a way to attract more people. This isn’t worth so much money and should never be listed for that much money.

Cons: Shower took forever to heat up, and then each time it was finally hot the water would just completely stop. We informed the staff and all they did was tell us the water was still on. Great location I mean 10 minute walk to most of the attractions in Marrakesh. It was a nice Raid and the staff were really hospitable and the breakfast was good. The decoration everywhere was nice and also in the room. It was a decent place to stay if you are in Marrakesh.

Cons: Uhm, there are a few downsides the room was really small and for how much you pay you would expect a bit bigger room. Bed, felt like it was going to break at any moment as it was super squeaky and almost felt like there was just a thin woodboard holding it together. The actual mattress was not comfy, but pretty hard. Lastly, the shower was a bit of a nightmare as how the shower head was mounted strangely and the glass covering the shower didn't match so water went everywhere in the bathroom. I think if they put some sealant under the glass at least it would help as water was flowing from under the glass. On top of that one morning, I tried putting on the hot water fully in the shower and nothing came out. So it was a cold shower. Was one of those bipolar showers where it is either hot or cold, no in between. So yeah, the room/bathroom needs a lot of improvement.

The location was amazing: we walked everywhere since the Riad is exactly in the heart of the Medina, you can get to all the touristic places with a 10 min walk. The streets are also safe and people are humble and nice. We loved the employees, they are all incredibly nice and make sure you’ll have a good time not only in the Riad but in Marrakesh itself. They sure know how to well receive people! The bed and pillows were super comfortable, the A/C is great. The pool, though small, is very beautiful and you can have a lovely restful morning/afternoon in the beautiful sitting area. I also loved the cat and I will miss him dearly! All Riad is beautiful and traditional.

Cons: The bathroom was very disappointing and nothing like the pictures we saw. The room we got was overall small but the bathroom was the tiniest, not even having a proper douche but a single showerhead in the wall that ends up making a mess in the whole bathroom because the water goes everywhere, and the cleaning staff only change the towels and make the bed… I’d really recommend change that bathroom, also because it looks decaying and has zero storage. The room is small, but could also have a better decor and better isolation… we could hear every little thing in the Riad! From 8:30 onwards you cannot really sleep any longer, it gets super noisy: voices, steps, people coming down the stairs, cleaning supplies… Another thing that was disappointing was the fact that the cleaning staff would sometimes knock on our door early in the morning, when they could obviously tell that we were still in the room and probably asleep. As for the Riad’s restaurant, the breakfast that we got was also not like the pictures we saw, and although we understand that the menu could’ve changed or even the cook could’ve not been the same, our breakfast was lacking… not even some toasted bread, or fruit salad, or eggs. It was also difficult for us to communicate with the employee that served us in the restaurant most times, because he only spoke French and did not bother to get the help from another colleague in order to better understand us (other than that we really appreciated all the staff).

The ground floor is beautiful as in the photos, the top floor is nice for breakfast.

Cons: The room was so small, the toilette is next to the shower which makes it not clean with the very humble space. Everything was tiny, if you have a big suitcase, it will be a challenge to open it... The staff was not friendly at all, no one says “hello” even the manager of the riad. The bed was so old, make a lot of noise. As I understand, the riad has just opened for 3 months but the quality of the rooms is so bad. There are a lot of constructions which woke us up in the morning and the staff was chatting next to our room for the whole day. We would prefer going out to staying in the room, it’s not possible to take a rest. No iron in the riad.
