Goede locatie (beetje verstopt, maar dat hoort erbij!) alles is in de buurt, prima kamers, lekker ontbijt, heerlijk dakterras, maar wat deze riad echt perfect maakt is het personeel. Stonden 24/7 voor ons klaar en hebben ons uitstekend geholpen met al onze vragen en problemen. Zelfs de tijd genomen om mee te gaan naar een goede telefoon reparateur (tip: geen foto’s vanaf het randje van het dak maken..) dank lieve mohammed, zakaria en de anderen <3
Cons: Lastig te vinden als je de medina niet kent, voor de eerste keer is de aangeboden taxiservice (waarbij iemand je op komt halen) een aanrader

Tolles Riad mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereiten Personal. Alles sehr sauber und hervorragendes Frühstück. Die Lage ist perfekt - alles ist fussläufig erreichbar. Das Riad selbst ist etwas schwierig zu finden, wir waren daher froh, dass wir den Transfer über das Riad gebucht hatten.

The property was very traditional, clean , great location and the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast was fantastic and the rooftop was lovely when the sun was out. The beds were very comfortable as well.
Cons: The shower was very very weak, which you expect so it wasn’t too bad. Would be handy if you could buy drinks at the property .

The location is fantastic, it's a bit difficult to find the first time but it's right in the heart of the Medina and everything is easily walkable. The service was so great, staff was very helpful. I loved the freshly prepared breakfast, one of the days when we had to start early they even accommodated our request to have it prepared earlier.

The Riad was beautiful and the rooms extremely clean. We were made welcome by all staff: they were attentive and went above and beyond. Breakfast was amazing everyday and the location is very close to the main parts of the city. Overall there is very little to fault about our stay.
Cons: The alley to the riad could feel sketchy at times however someone is always at the riad to let you in quickly. Also, the walk down the alleyway is probably only 20 seconds off a busier street.

We loved the owners, besides an amazing breakfast. We even got a breakfast lunchbox that they made for us because we we’re going on a daytrip. We had to leave very early and they made sure we had breakfast and made it for us at 6 AM in the morning!

El personal maravilloso, ninguna pega con ninguno, todos excepcionales. El Riad es muy bonito y los desayunos son increíbles, están buenísimos y se incluyen en el precio.
Cons: Dos días de los 3 que dormimos allí teníamos excursión y no pudimos desayunar en el Riad, no se nos facilitó la opción de llevarnos el desayuno o al menos una pieza de fruta o una botella de agua... Tampoco de adelantarnos el desayuno ya que solo era media hora antes de la hora a la que lo ponían ellos, como sí que nos hicieron en otro Riad en el que nos alojamos... El baño en mal estado, la ducha con muchísimas humedades, la habitación entera tenía humedad y la ropa la cogías para ponértela y parecía que estaba mojada. Los enchufes no tienen toma a tierra por lo que cuidado si se pone algo a cargar, sobre todo no tocarlo mientras carga ya que transmite la electricidad. La habitación no está nada insonorizada, de hecho la única ventana no cierra y el propio cristal tiene un agujero por lo que se escucha todo, teníamos la habitación del patio por lo que cada persona que entraba o salía a la hora que fuera se escuchaba todo. La última pega que le pongo es, que pese a que la ubicación está cerca de la plaza, y todos los Riads tienen accesos "complicados", este para nosotras fue el que peor acceso tiene. Nos robaron en la puerta, nos siguió un señor y salieron otras 7 personas a rodearnos en la puerta, y como está tan apartado nadie vino a ayudarnos ni nos escuchó. No repetiría experiencia en este Riad ni lo recomendaría, sobre todo porque la sensación de volver por la noche era horrible, pasábamos miedo constantemente, y solo fueron 3 días en él, luego cogimos otro. Uno de los días tuvimos que pedir cena directamente al Riad porque no queríamos volver después de haber anochecido, el recepcionista nos ayudó muchísimo para conseguir la cena, las personas que lo llevan son maravillosas, una pena el resto.

Semplicemente tutto, i ragazzi sono stati bravissimi, erano sempre pronti per o consigli e qualsiasi cosa abbiamo chiesto ci hanno sempre accontentato. Era il Compleanno del mio fidanzato e chiesi loro una candela, nemmeno il Tempo di chiederla e me l’hanno procurata, non avevo prenotato Hammam e quindi era tutto pieno loro subito si sono preoccupati a prenotarcene uno (pulito e bellissimo) La colazione molto buona, tipica. La camera sempre Pulita, ogni giorno la sistemavano e la pulivano con tanta cura. Lo consiglio vivamente e se un giorno dovessi fare ritorno lo risceglierei ❤️

Een hele mooie riad in Marrakech. Midden in de medina, alles was op loopafstand. Maar toch was het rustig in de riad. We hadden een fijne ruime kamer. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, niets was te veel. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid, het personeel onthield goed wat je eerdere keuzes waren. Een enorme aanrader om hier te verblijven!

Once inside the Riad it was an oasis. It's down a twisty alleyway but easy to find your way out and back. Room was lovely and the staff very helpful indeed. On hot days the roof terrace had cool spots to relax. In a very central location.

Cons: La posizione è vicina alla piazza centrale ma il vicolo in cui è ubicata è un pò tetro per via delle persone che lo frequentano la sera. Ma per il resto anche la posizione degli altri riad è così quindi nulla di differente dal resto di Marrakech.

Posizione molto centrale, anche se un po' nascosta, arrivando di notte non è facilissimo da trovare. Buono il ristorante, peccato che deve essere prenotato con anticipo (almeno 24 ore prima) altrimenti, soprattutto a pranzo, potrebbe rimanere chiuso. Possono aggregarti a tour o escursioni anche con poco preavviso. Quello che sembra essere il capo ricevimento, Oualid, è sempre educato e disponibile, il resto dello staff al ricevimento lascia molto a desiderare.
Cons: Il problema principale è stata la gestione della colazione senza glutine. Prima dell'arrivo ci hanno confermato che era disponibile la colazione gluten free, solo per poi ritrovarci una colazione standard e sentirci dire che non avendo avuto tempo per organizzarsi (un mese circa!) non avevano prodotti gluten free il primo giorno, ma che avrebbero rimediato il giorno dopo. Invece i giorni seguenti la soluzione è stata portare una banana al posto del pane. Quando gli è stato fatto notare che una banana con yogurt non costituisce una colazione gluten free ci hanno detto che per loro è normale così, anche perché prodotti di quel tipo sono difficili da trovare a Marrakech. Gli abbiamo spiegato che noi stessi siamo andati al carrefour a comprare quei prodotti tutt'altro che introvabili, dovendo pagare praticamente due volte la colazione in questo modo. La risposta alla fine è stata che non era un problema loro, che dall'inizio dell'anno eravamo solo i secondi ospiti celiaci (e quindi?!), e che loro avevano fatto tutto quello che dovevano e potevano fare. Peccato.

Le personnel est très accueillant. Ils prennent le temps d’expliquer la ville et donne un excellent conseil pour ne pas avoir besoin de données cellulaires pour se promener. Le Riad est vraiment très bien situé: au cœur des souks, à 2 pas de la place Jema El Fna et de la Koutoubia. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents, variés et très copieux, nous nous sommes régalés.
Cons: Il n’y avait pas beaucoup de pression dans la douche car l’eau chaude et froide étaient inversées. Si vous souhaitez faire une excursion (ex: vallée de l’Ourika ou autre) nous vous déconseillons de passer par le Riad pour réserver: tarif élevé et excursion exclusivement touristique, très décevant.

Il Riad è in un’ottima posizione, vicina alla piazza e facilmente raggiungibile. Le stanze sono molto pulite e ogni giorno le sistemano e cambiano asciugamani. La stanza era grande e bella. Personale super gentile, accogliente, che sa l’inglese e presente h24 per qualsiasi cosa. Colazione buonissima, super ricca e di qualità.
Cons: A dicembre faceva un pelino freddo nella nostra stanza, poiché grande e difficile da riscaldare. Ci hanno comunque dato una stufetta in più.

Cons: El baño necesitaría una reforma, sobretodo el plato de ducha. Pese a que contratamos el servicio de traslado del aeropuerto al hotel, el conductor no se presentó. Sin embargo, coger taxi en el aeropuerto es muy sencillo y no tuvimos problema en llegar al Riad a pesar de ser de noche.

Cons: La situation géographie, mais SURTOUT, la climatisation réversible ne fonctionnait pas, nous avons eu très très froid la première nuit, le directeur ne nous a pas crû en disant que cela fonctionnait, mais la clim s'est mise en ERREUR et là seulement, le directeur a appeler un technicien, avant cela il m'a traitée de menteuse, enfin j'en dis pas plus, un séjour dans ce riad horrible, alors que je viens à Marrakech tous les 4 mois. Pas de chauffage dans la SDB, pas d'eau chaude (soi-disant que toutes les chambres tiraient l'eau en même temps.... Enfin ce fut épouvantable.

It was located in the Central Park of Marrakesh therefore anything you'd want to do is easily walkable, but it's also an extremely quiet riad so the bustling streets gets instantly silenced as you enter the riad which is lovely after a long day! The bed has to be one of the comfiest I've ever slept in! And then the patio area where you can sit and just relax is also lovely after a long day of walking around!

From the moment the door opened for the first time on our arrival till the last time it closed behind us after our goodbye it was a fantastic experience, where all the staff went above and beyond to provide us with an amazing stay!! ❤️ Mohamed who welcomed us for the first time, took time to seat us down, have a chat, talk to us about what we could do whilst in Marrakesh, offered us some delicious mint tea and some Moroccan delicacies, showed us to our room, explained everything there was to explain, a truly gem to the Riad!! Then you also have Soufiane & Mustapha, who were there most nights to welcome us back any time during the night, yes they are reachable 24h a day, and to see you out in the morning !! They also made us some breakfast to take away as we were going out for the day with an early start, always adding to it what we liked the most, great touch ! If you have the breakfast at the Riad, you won’t be disappointed, homemade yoghurt, omelette, scrambled eggs, homemade cottage Cheese (plain and also with herbs),msemen, baghrir, bread, jam, honey, butter,amlou etc, all served above in the terrace whilst listening to the sound of the birds …. I could keep going and going on about it!! Rooms are cleaned daily(which I didn’t expect ), towels also changed daily, no lack of toilet roll , and most important now in the winter with cold nights and early morning, central heating !! The room was super toasty , we felt at home. All staff is super friendly, always with a smile at the ready and will even acknowledge you whilst out in the same manner!! Not forgetting all the ladies too, cleaners, cook, preparing great food, amazing service and super polite too!! Personally we felt like at home, treated beautifully and will most definitely return ! You must go through a small alley to get to the Riad, but absolutely safe, we walked it for 5days late at night and early mornings and never had the smallest of the worries at all.

Les chambres sont très confortables, très propres, personnel au soin, un immense merci à Mohamed et Mustapha, nous avons été très bien accueilli à notre arrivée et tout le long du séjour. le petit dej était copieux et frais, servi sur la terrasse… magique ! Perfect location in the middle of the medina, but at the same time close to a main road where you can get a taxi. Mustafa has been extremely kind and welcoming and he helped us in every possible way. The riad is very nice and clean and breakfast is very good.

El Riad está muy bien. Nuestra habitación era perfecta, grande, cama muy cómoda y cuarto de baño perfectamente equipado. Ubicación muy buena. No se asusten por el callejón para llegar al Riad. Es típico en Marruecos. Y lo mejor, la amabilidad y proactividad de Mohamed y Mustafá quienes estuvieron siempre muy atentos de que estuviéramos a gusto.

The riad location is in the heart of Medina so we could enjoy all the important sights by foot. The atmosphere in riad was very friendly. Delicious and generous breakfast is served on the rooftop in the fresh air in the morning sun. Every time the staff were attentive and helpful - especially Mohamed - who was always available and ready to assist with anything we needed. On one occcasion, we had to leave early for an excursion, and they arranged take away breakfast box. Their welcoming attitude made our stay in Marrakesh an unforgettable experience.

La struttura è bellissima, arredata in autentico stile marocchino, con camere super caratteristiche e una posizione tranquilla nel cuore della Medina. La posizione è anche centralissima, ideale per raggiungere a piedi qualsiasi punto della Medina in pochi minuti, davvero comodissima per esplorare la città! La struttura non è immediatamente visibile, si raggiunge tramite un vicoletto, un po buio ma tranquillo. La colazione è stata uno dei punti forti: prodotti freschi, di alta qualità, preparati in casa e davvero abbondanti. Durante il soggiorno, in occasione del mio compleanno, si sono accorti che diversi ospiti festeggiavano nello stesso giorno e, con grande gentilezza, hanno chiesto alle mie amiche se volessero organizzare qualcosa per me. Così io e un altro ospite abbiamo spento insieme le candeline su una torta preparata per l’occasione, un gesto dolcissimo, dimostrazione di un’attenzione ai dettagli davvero rara e molto apprezzata! Era la nostra prima volta a Marrakech e grazie a loro ci siamo sentite completamente a casa: ci hanno dato tantissime indicazioni utili e sono sempre stati pronti ad aiutarci per qualsiasi necessità. Un’esperienza super positiva, dove gentilezza e ospitalità sono davvero la chiave di tutto. Se dovessimo tornare a Marrakech, sceglieremmo senza dubbio ancora loro. My partner and I couldn’t have been treated better. From the airport pick-up to the warm welcome, everything was flawless. Even though we arrived after 9pm, they kindly served us a delicious Moroccan dinner salad, tajines, mint tea, and dessert. Breakfast was included and just as lovely. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated in authentic Moroccan style, and full of thoughtful details. They even surprised me with a birthday cake after noticing the date on my passport such a kind gesture! The team is warm, caring, and truly puts guests first. A Riad is not a hotel and you can't judge it as one. This place had excellent location in the Medina, but it was quite hard to find in the maze of streets. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Even though it's so close to the centre it was very quiet.
Cons: If you think of it as a hotel, it won't live up to your expectations; the bed was quite hard and the shower was a little dysfunctional. It's more like staying with a family. You can easily hear noices between the rooms.

El Riad está en un sitio muy céntrico. Tiene habitaciones en el patio y otras en el piso de arriba. El desayuno es en la azotea. Desayuno completito para poder empezar el día con energía. Las habitaciones son amplias, colchones muy buenos. Varios enchufes en la habitación. Anfitriones muy amables. Es fácil de encontrar si el taxi te deja en la Bab Laksour. Igual el callejón te asusta un poco, pero todo es super seguro y los vecinos muy amables. En general nos ha gustado mucho y hemos estado muy a gusto. La relación calidad precio nos ha parecido buena .
Cons: A alguna de mis compañeras de viaje les costaba un poco subir las escaleras estrechas. Y han echado de menos un poco de fruta en el desayuno..Como no sabíamos que ya no hace falta imprimir las tarjetas de embarque de Ryanair, la recepción del Riad nos han cobrado 2 euros por imprimirlas cada una.. si bien es cierto que tuvieron que salir fuera del Riad a buscar un ciber.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au riad avec notre petite fille. La chambre était confortable, climatisée et fonctionnelle. Comme mentionné dans d’autres commentaires, le petit déjeuner était absolument délicieux ! Nous avons également dîné un soir au riad : un vrai régal, avec des portions généreuses (bien plus copieuses que dans les restaurants alentours). L’emplacement est idéal : nous avons pu tout visiter à pied, même avec la poussette. Le personnel a été incroyablement accueillant et attentionné, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Un immense merci à Oualid et Mohamed pour leur gentillesse, leur bienveillance et leur aide tout au long de notre séjour. Nous gardons un très beau souvenir de ce riad et le recommandons vivement !

El personal Oualid, Mohamed, Karim(espero se escriba así), todos fueron muy atentos con nosotros, nos dieron todas las herramientas para no perdernos en la medina sin internet. La ubicación está a 5 minutos de todo. Oualid nos proveía de todo lo que le pedíamos, agua, tarjetas de embarque, nos preparo una cena digna de un Rey con un tagini y couscous espectacular, ganadores de un premio según nos comentó. Repetiremos sólo por la sensación de hogar que da el Riad. 100%

Our stay at this beautiful Riad was an absolute delight, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were simply amazing. One attendant in particular was unbelievably helpful and organized us a delicious breakfast, even though we were leaving early. He truly went out of his way to ensure we were ready for our adventure. The Riad itself is a sanctuary of calm. It's so beautiful, clean, and has a wonderfully serene atmosphere. The rooftop terrace was a standout feature, providing a sense of spaciousness and a lovely place to relax. Our rooms were also a highlight, thanks to their incredibly effective air conditioning, which was a huge win on a hot day. Comfort was paramount, and the beds and pillows were immaculate, providing us with an incredibly comfortable night's sleep. If you're someone who values a good-quality mattress, I would highly recommend this Riad. Perhaps the best part of our stay was the Riad's central location. It's just a few minutes' walk from the main square and is perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding souks and attractions. We felt so well-cared for and would highly recommend this Riad to anyone visiting the area.

Oualid très prévenant nous a tout de suite demandé de localiser et figer son établissement sur une application map et donner son numéro afin de lui envoyer notre position en cas de soucis dans l’effervescence de Marrakech. Ci siamo trovati benissimo in questo riad. All’interno della medina e dei suk ma vicino anche alla porta Laksour per cui facile da raggiungere con le valige. I ragazzi gentilissimi. Uno di loro ci ha aspettato fuori al vicolo al nostro arrivo (era quasi mezzanotte) per non farci perdere. Non si direbbe da fuori che dentro c’è un posto così. E ci ha accompagnato fino a fuori la porta per prendere il taxi per l’aeroporto prenotato con loro. La nostra camera per 3 spaziosa arredata in stile marocchino e un bel bagno comodo e molto pulita. Ci hanno anche rifatto i letti. Bello il cortile con alberi che si arrampicano fino alla terrazza. Abbiamo fatto una buonissima colazione (dolce, frittata, pan cake tutto fatto in casa dalle signore in cucina) sempre in terrazza dove ci sono anche delle belle sedute. Un’atmosfera rilassante. Tornavamo più volte in giornata per fare delle pause per le temperature altissime.

J’ai passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce Riad plein de charme. L’endroit est à la fois authentique, calme. La décoration marocaine traditionnelle, les petits détails soignés, ainsi que la propreté irréprochable rendent l’endroit très agréable à vivre, le Riad vient d’avoir un beau rafraîchissement de peinture qui le rend encore mieux Un grand merci à l’équipe qui a été aux petits soins du début à la fin, toujours disponible, souriante et très accueillante. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, varié et servi dans un cadre magnifique sur la terrasse. Je recommande ce Riad les yeux fermés à tous ceux qui recherchent une parenthèse de tranquillité et d’authenticité. J’y reviendrai avec grand plaisir ! 🌿✨

Room: Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable and clean as they changed the sheets everyday. There was also an electric kettle if you want to have some tea/coffee. The air conditioner was a plus too especially after walking for hours under the heat. Location: The riad is very much accessible by foot going to the main square and to the main road if you want to get a cab. There are also lots of places to see nearby such as the Medersa Ben Youssef and Le Jardin Secret. Service: The service they provided was top notch. We arrived late (around 2AM) because our flight was delayed but Kassim still waited for us outside the riad. Every morning of our stay, Mohamed served us an abundant breakfast. There were coffee, fresh orange juice, mint tea, 3 types of bread, and eggs. A big thanks again to the whole staff of Riad O-Ly for making our stay a memorable one and for helping us with everything we needed, there’s nothing more we could ask for.

Todo. El personal, la atención, la limpieza... Cama cómoda, almohadas buenas y nuevas. Toallas de sobra. El desayuno buenísimo, y tuvieron la deferencia de ponernos una parte para llevar pues nuestro vuelo salía pronto e íbamos con prisa.
Cons: La primera vez es algo complicado encontrarlo, quizás algún cartel fuera en la esquina de la calle, ayudaría. Pero los vecinos locales nos indicaron de forma amable y efectiva.

La struttura è molto centrale, immersa nei Souk e a 5 minuti a piedi dalla piazza principale. Il fatto che abbia una corte interna, tuttavia, la rende molto silenziosa. È una struttura vecchia ma ben tenuta. La camera è arredata con gusto, spaziosa, molto fresca (abbiamo soggiornato a fine luglio e, nonostante fuori le temperature superassero i 40°, non abbiamo avuto bisogno di accendere il condizionatore. La cosa migliore della nostra permanenza è stata la cordialità e la gentilezza dello staff che ci ha accolto calorosamente e ci è venuta incontro in ogni modo. Hanno risposto positivamente sia alla nostra richiesta di lasciare i bagagli in struttura nell'attesa del check-in, permettendoci di visitare la città. Inoltre, il giorno successivo saremmo partiti per un'escursione prima dell'orario di colazione prevista, ci è stata fatta trovare comunque una colazione d'asporto piena di cose di qualità. Siamo stati molto bene ed è super consigliato! Un grazie particolare a Mohamed per la sua gentilezza.

Dobra lokalizacja, kilka minut do głównego placu. Do wszystkich atrakcji można dojść spacerem. Smaczne śniadanie, typowo marokańskie, świeży sok, pieczywo i różne naleśniki. Oczywiście pyszna miętowa herbata, także na powitanie. Czysto, na koniec dostaliśmy nawet małe upominki w postaci kosmetyków.

Nos alojamos una noche en el Riad O LY y no podemos estar más encantados con la experiencia. Desde el primer momento, nos sentimos como en casa. El riad es precioso, cuidado hasta el último detalle y con una limpieza impecable que se agradece muchísimo. El servicio ha sido excelente: todo el personal fue amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar con una sonrisa. Un detalle que nos sorprendió y nos hizo sentir aún más bienvenidos fue que, habiendo reservado una habitación estándar, nos alojaron en una de categoría superior porque estaba disponible. ¡Todo un detalle! El desayuno, incluido en la estancia, fue espectacular. Abundante, delicioso y servido en un entorno muy acogedor que hacía que el día empezara con muy buen pie. Sin duda, nos vamos con un recuerdo maravilloso de este lugar. Repetiríamos sin pensarlo y lo recomendamos al 100 %. ¡Gracias por hacernos sentir tan a gusto!

etwas versteckt in der Altstadt, ruhig, excellente Lage zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. zu Fuß 15 Minuten zum Place Djemaa-Fnaa und zur Koutubia. Keine direkte Anfahrt mit dem Taxi möglich. Am Tor zur Altstadt übernimmt ein Gepäckträger mit Karren das Gepäck(gegen ein Trinkgeld).

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was in the heart of the medina. Transport arranged by Riad was excellent and they had arranged a porter to carry luggage to the accomodation. Nice breakfast. Very quiet for being in the midst of it all.
Cons: The coffee. Alley to access to Riad was a little scary first time round.( It was perfectly safe though and many Riads are accessed by similar alleys)

Las instalaciones, el trato muy ameno del personal, el desayuno y una ubicación más que ideal, hicieron de nuestro paso por Marrakech y por el Riad O Ly una experiencia maravillosa. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and featured comfortable beds, along with a charming terrace that enhanced the experience. Breakfast was of high quality, and on the day of my excursion, the staff kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast for me. The entire team was exceptionally friendly and respectful, offering valuable tips on the best places to visit in the city. Housekeeping was also excellent, with the room cleaned and tidied daily. The location is ideal—just a 10-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa Square.

Die Betreiber des Riad O LY sind sehr hilfsbereit und unterstützen immer wo benötigt. Frühstück ist vielseitig und sehr gut. das geschäftliche Treiben in der Medina kann man sich nicht vorstellen, muss man gesehen haben. Trotz der vielen Menschen in den Gassen und Plätzen fühlten wir uns sicher von Betrügern oder Diebstählen, haben auch keinen Vorfall diesbezüglich bemerkt.

For example, packing us a breakfast when we needed to leave early one day, and walking me & my luggage out of the Medina to a pick-up spot for my airport ride, which they arranged. Great location in the Medina. Breakfast included a variety of choices, on the scenic rooftop. Good wifi. Would absolutely staying here again.
Cons: The walk from the main path through the Medina to the riad door is a bit confusing at first. Posting some signage might help.

Located in a busy part of the medina, but around a few turns of small alleys. Staff was friendly, and once in the door the Riad felt safe and quiet. A combination of some modern decor (our room was polished concrete and painted, which you could consider a nice break from the elaborate tiling and decoration in other riads we had stayed), and a more traditional terrasse seating area for breakfast and relaxation.
Cons: I found the last couple of alley twists to get there to be somewhat unnerving, especially at night. The sparse, modern decor of our room was not my favorite, but it was comfortable and clean.

Marrakech can be sensory overload. Riad O Ly was a true respite. I felt cared for. The staff took care of everything, even when changes came up in my itinerary. I had flexibility to sit in the courtyard or rooftop areas when I needed to recharge after exploring the city. And the staff gave me a paper map and told me of a wayfinding app that didn't require wifi.
Cons: The room itself had no view, but there were other places in the riad where I could sit and absorb the view.

Very nice riad near the heart of the medina. We stayed in a couple of different riads in Marrakech so had a chance to compare a few in the same price range. For Riad O Ly, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The Riad is beautiful, but probably not as renovated as some of the others we stayed in. It wasn't really an issue, just something we noticed. The location is really central. Breakfast on the terrace was among the better breakfasts we had. Rooms were a reasonable size but could be cramped if you are traveling with several suitcases. The riad arranged airport pick-up for us and I do recommend it. The riad is not easy to find and a taxi cannot get very close to it. The car dropped us at one of the medina gates where someone from the riad met us and walked us to the riad (about 7min walk).
Cons: There is a mosque nearby so you will be woken up by the call to prayer. Nothing you can do about it but good to be aware if you like to sleep in.

No es un riad de grandes lujos, todo bastante sencillo, (quizàs habría que cambiar algún colchón) ,pero compensa todo lo demás. El desayuno en la terraza maravilloso. Genial!

The warm and heartfelt welcome we received when arriving allowed us to very easily settle in in Marrakesh, and the location in the medina made exploring the souks very convenient. The breakfast was exceptional, being freshly and thoughtfully prepared every morning and featuring a changing variety eggs, jams, bread, and Moroccan specialties. It was a wonderful, quiet harbour and place for relaxation in the busy hubbub of Marrakesh.
Cons: Finding the property on the first day was quite difficult, there are no signs and Google Maps is only somewhat helpful. But the locals quickly helped us and showed us the way there. Our room had a window towards the medina and it was sometimes a bit noisy at night, but that greatly varied with each individual day.

Ottima la colazione e perfetta la posizione , essendo gia stato a Marrakech avevo scelto il riad proprio per la sua posizione. Estrema cortesia da parte dello staff ed ho apprezzato la decisione di accordarmi un abbuono, a seguito di una mia lamentela per cause che, come poi mi hanno spiegato, non dipendessero dal riad: La camera aveva la finestra che si affacciava sul viottolo sottostante e, tra le 22.00 e le 03.00 della notte nella casa adiacente efettuavano dei lavori di edilizia, siamo stati quindi disturbati dalle urla degli operai, dai rumori delle moto e dei lavori edili. Mi sono lamentato versole ore 01.30 alla portineria, poi perlomeno le urla sono diminuite. La notte l'abbiamo comunque passata "in Bianco". Ci hanno poi spiegato i motivi e, per compensare il disagio, ci hanno offerto il Transfer all'areoporto senza chiedere il pagamento.

The experience of staying was made way better by having the welcoming and friendliest of the staff. Specially Wahid and Mohamed. Location was perfect, centre of medina, yet tucked away so it’s quiet.
Cons: Hard to find anything i disliked. Except, it was hard to find the Riad, specially in the dark after a flight. Nothing much bad about the riad, except the loud doors when closing/opening the lock. Everything else is excellent.

Very beatifully decorated spacy room with plenty of light from windows - nice bathroom too. Very nice rooftop terrasse 🙂. The one morning where it rained, the really nice breakfast was served indoor in the couch areas. Very polite and nice staff - all Moroccans seem to be like that 🙂. Quiet inside the riad, but a 1 minut walk brings you directly in the hectic souk.

Cons: A colazione vengono serviti diversi cibi e bevande ma nessuna attenzione per chi ha qualche restrizione alimentare. ( Io sono celiaca, lo avevo segnalato e mi avevano detto che non era un problema. Al mio arrivo nessuno lo sapeva e mi hanno proposto di farmi una torta di mais che ho rifiutato perché non mi piace. Da quel momento in poi nessuno si è più interessato di niente, se non avessi avuto un mio pane confezionato non avrei potuto bere altro che thè). La guida fornita dal Riad, non ha fatto altro che portarci in negozi di suoi conoscenti e raccontarci episodi personali che non avevano nulla a che fare con l'esplorazione della città. Parlava molto bene italiano ma non ci ha fornito nessuna informazione su monumenti e cultura locale, nonostante glielo avessimo chiesto più volte. Il sospetto che non ne sapesse niente ci è venuto!

Location was very central and ideal to visit the old town and most of the attractions. Breakfast looked not enough but that wasn't the case! There were some different choices each day and all of them were very tasty, fresh and fulfilling. The staff (Oualid and Mohamed) were very friendly, helpful, happy and always there to advice and inform us!
Cons: Some evenings, for few hours, there was noise coming from outside the Riad. Also, the master bed (mattress) could have been more comfortable.

Zeer hartelijke ontvangst met praktische en bruikbare tips. Niet luxueus maar smaakvol ingericht. Zalig dakterras. Verbazingwekkend rustig ondanks locatie vlak in medina direct bij de souks. Als je niet voor de luxe gaat, maar meer voor het echte leven in marrakesh, een heel goed adresje.
Cons: Ontbijt was eerder matig, maar dat is ook omdat we extra vroeg moesten vertrekken.

We love the breakfast which was included in the booking, a nice spread and we had it at the roof top dining area. And the staff, who was so lovely and helpful, especially Waleed, Ismail and Hasna who went out of their way to assist and advise. Finally, the Riad is located within the medina, short walks to the souks and Jemaa El Fnaa square, but is was quiet for a good nite rest.

Delizioso Riad nel cuore della medina. Arrivati la sera tardi c’era l’autista che ci attendeva agli arrivi e ci ha accompagnato fino a destinazione. Le camere erano all’altezza delle aspettative, pulite e ordinate. Disponibile phon e bollitore. Colazione servita in terrazza, abbondante e ottima. Pulizia giornaliera delle camere. Personale disponibile e molto gentile. Posizione eccellente. Molto silenzioso durante la notte. Una sola nota negativa: poca illuminazione nella stradina che porta al riad

Le personnel est très aimable et souriant, toujours aux petits soins. Nous avons réservé les transferts vers l’aéroport avec eux et avons également programmé une visite à Aït Ben Haddou et Ouarzazate. C'était top ! L'emplacement est idéal, à deux pas du Jardin Secret. Plusieurs bons restaurants se trouvent à proximité, ce qui était très pratique le soir. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux et copieux. Excellent séjour 😊.

The people are very nice, we couldn’t stay for breakfast because we had a tour and they packed a nice goody bags to take with us, and walked us to the tour meeting point. We were very thankful for the help.
Cons: Is a little difficult to find, it doesn’t have a sign to know that is the place, so download the offline map before going and bring coins to get directions from the locals, everyone is very helpful.

De service van de medewerkers is voortreffelijk! Kwamen ons netjes de eerste avond bij de taxi ophalen om ons de weg naar de Riad te wijzen. Bedden waren comfortabel en schoon. Werden elke dag opnieuw opgemaakt. Ontbijten op het dakterras is heel bijzonder. Heerlijk ontbijt waaraan niks ontbreekt met de lekkerste jus d'orange die ik ooit gedronken heb. Kortom: een aanrader!

We had a warm welcome from Mohamed with mint tea and Moroccan Fqass, the room was very clean with all what we needed during our stay, the Riad is in a Calm place, and close to the important tourist places, we left our car outside the Medina and we had only to do a 15min walk to reach the Riad. The breakfast on the terrace is amazing. I definitely recommend this Riad to anyone visiting Marrakech

A localização é ótima, no centro da cidade murada, a poucos metros da medina, em meio ao Souk. A chegada para o Riad é um bocado estranha e feia, mas, para que vai a Marrakesh e sabe o que vai encontrar, nada problemático. Mais fácil chegar de dia pela primeira vez, depois apontar as lojas de referência e passa a ficar muito fácil. Mohamed boa recebeu como um grande anfitrião hospitalidade na sua mais simples essência. Tudo muito simples, porém bem cuidado, bem limpo. Ele sempre disponível, nos sugeriu lugares para ir, nos esperou todos os dias para chegar, disponibilizou seu número de contato e fez-nos sentir como se estivéssemos em um palácio. A Estrutura do Riad é simplória, mas atende muito bem I propósito de. Noites confortáveis para quem quer mesmo desfrutar da cidade. Recomendo veementemente e voltarei com certeza.

El riad entendemos que es una casa antigua pero la falta mantenimiento, el cristal de la ventana de la habitación tenía un agujero por donde entraba mucho frío y la solución que nos dieron fue que ya sabíamos que el riad es una casa antigua. Lamentable... Las toallas en vez de cambiarlas, las cogían de la percha y las doblaban para que pareciera que las habían puesto limpias, pero vimos que eran las mismas porque estaban húmedas de la ducha de por la mañana

La posizione del Riad O LY è ottima per visitare la città. Sono stata accolta con te marocchino e biscotti, una vera chicca del luogo. I ragazzi che gestiscono la struttura sono stati molto disponibili e di supporto nell'aiutarmi ad organizzare le visite che volevo fare, in particolare Oualid è stato gentilissimo. La colazione è abbondante e molto buona e c'è possibilità di cenare in struttura, scegliendo al mattino con prodotti freschi e cucinati solo per l'ospite!

O staff foi muito simpático, disponível e prestável. Sempre que precisávamos de alguma coisa, inclusivamente transporte, eles arranjavam prontamente e acompanhavam-nos à saída da Medina. O transfer do e para o aeroporto também funcionou muito bem, mesmo com o atraso do nosso avião. À chegada lá estavam à nossa espera. O jantar que marcamos no dia da chegada era delicioso e o pequeno almoço excelente. A localização era fantástica e gostámos bastante do facto de nos terem guardado a bagagem quando fomos ao deserto por 3 dias e voltámos por mais uma noite, antes de regressarmos a Portugal. O quarto era muito bom e a cama confortável. O terraço também era muito bonito e passavam-se lá bons momentos a conviver, comer e ouvir os passarinhos. Esperamos voltar.

Mohammed and Waleed were very welcoming and attended to our needs. The location was incredibly convenient and safe. The room was very up to date and tidy.
Cons: Stained bedsheets at times, often having to chase down the cleaners to provide toilet roll for the bathroom, and no towel rack to hang the towels till the last day. The lighting in the room is so dim that I had to use my phone torch at night and the lack of sockets next to the bedside meant we could only charge one phone a night.

The hosts were very kind, we had several lovely chats with them. They also arranged our taxi pick-up/drop-offs and for our luggage to be carried from the taxi to the hotel. The location is perfect, right in the centre of the medina which makes every attraction guite walkable. The rooms get cleaned daily and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We'd definitely stay again!

This is an excellent Riad, the staff, location could not be bettered. Mohammad along with all the other staff were so friendly, professional and helpful from our 1st step into the door of the Riad. They would assist with any queries, and one thing before we arrived we felt was important and was fulfilled was sending a message or query was answered with an hour or two at the most. Also they organised a taxi from the airport to the side of the Medina. On arrival a member of staff of the Riad O LY met us and assisted with our bags and showed us the way. It is only a short walk and the Riad is nice and quiet BUT very close (1 minute) from one of the main "streets" of the souk so everything is easy to get to. The rooms were cleaned everyday, and as mentioned above ALL the staff were so friendly with a lovely smile whenever they saw you. So bottom line is THANK YOU MOHAMMAD & YOUR STAFF FOR A MOST ENJOYABLE STAY.

The greeting was excellent and the two 'managers' were extremely helpful throughout our stay. Certainly, without a certain application that they helped us install on our mobiles we would never have found our way around the soucks and back to the riad! It made our holiday explorations even more interesting and fun.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is located in the center of Marrakesh, five minute on foot by the center square. It was very clean and traditional as a hotel and the room was more than comfortable. The best thing was how great and lovely the staff were. They were very friendly, they helped us organise our trip in the desert, they booked us a taxi when we arrived and when we left, helped with our local guide, they gave us instractions about the city and what to avoid or what to see. The breakfast also was homemade and it was so so so tasty and even the day we had to leave very early they prepared it sooner so we could eat and leave in time. If i visit Marrakesh again i will certainly stay there and i definitely recommend it.

I stayed for three nights at Riad O LY with my mother, and it was a lovely stay! The staff were super sweet and accommodating, helping us and giving us tips for what to do. It was also very easy to ''book'' transport from and to the airport when we went home. But the main thing that was the best part of our stay, were the lovely breakfasts and dinners we had on the rooftop of the riad. The food was among the best we had during the entire trip! We recommend the Tagine with beef and prunes, simply magnificent.
Cons: Our room was very nice and clean. However, it would have been very helpful with another small table for keeping things, and we were specifically missing hooks for hanging wet and dry towels. We found ourselves hanging towels to dry over doors and closets, and a few hooks in the bathroom and on the bedroom walls would have been very helpful.

Cons: Déçus de notre chambre sombre à l'etage ( une seule fenêtre donnant sur la ruelle d'accès au riad ,avec bruits de passages assez tard le soir ) et avec peu de charme, comparée à celles au rez-de-chaussé, qui avaient vues sur le joli patio. ( attention aussi aux petits chaussons mis au pied du lit mais déjà utilisés ) Absence de petit déjeuner, compris dans le prix de la chambre, non servi car départ avant 8h.

La posizione e la tranquillità. La camera essenziale ma ben tenuta, colazione molto buona e variegata. La posizione è leggermente discostata dalla via centrale, ma una volta capito, si trova facilmente.

Ci hanno permesso di lasciare gli zaini prima di fare il check-in, permettendoci di girare Marrakech senza il peso dello zaino. La camera era bella e pulita. Lo staff era molto gentile, in particolare Oualid, che ci ha accompagnati la mattina presto in piazza El fna al punto di incontro per il nostro tour nel deserto prenotato con GetYourGuide. We arrived hours before check in, and they kindly kept our luggage at the front desk so we could go for a walk around La Medina, and when we returned we found everything in our room! We were returning from a visit to the mountains and we both had a very bad cold and cough, so they prepared a little bowl with pure hunny, lemon and ginger that made us feel better immediately!! 🙏🏽❤️ PD: we spent nights in 2 different Riads and one hotel, and they have the best towels!!
Cons: Our bed on my side wasn’t very comfortable, and our shower was way too small but it had a very good water pressure!! For the price, location and cleanliness, I would go back in the future.

We loved the friendly welcome, the every day chats and all the advice we received. Our room was cleaned every day nicely and the bed was very comfortable. We had a freshly cooked breakfast every day up in the terrace. The staff are the best asset of this Ryad. They all work very well together and to be honest, we felt sad to say good bye to them. The property is in the middle of the buzzing medina and it almost felt magic. A new traveller will certainly miss the entrance. We had read about that and it almost felt like a challenge to us…could we find it? We did, with help. Be prepared to give a tip to whoever helps you find it. Ah, we also loved the evening relaxing music at the Ryad.

Die Unterkunft war orientalisch und gemütlich eingerichtet. Zudem hatte man ausreichend Platz sich innerhalb der Unterkunft gemeinsam hinzusetzten, beispielsweise auf der Dachterasse. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterasse war auch sehr lecker. Die Mitarbeiter waren zudem sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.
Cons: Das Bad war leider ziemlich klein und die Betten waren nicht sonderlich bequem. Zudem haben wir nachts in den Betten kleine ameisenartige Tierchen gesichtet.

The staff here is incredible, we absolutely loved getting to hear about Mohammed's story and family and spend some time with him. The breakfast was lovely and the rest of the staff was accommodating as well. They arranged transfers for us and even lended us an umbrella when it was raining.
Cons: Our bathroom was a bit odd - both the base of the sink and base of the toilet leaked (a lot) whenever water was used, so we used the toilet as sparingly as we could (no toilet paper) and utilized the shower instead of the sink.

The staff there was the best thing about this place. They were all exceptionally kind and helpful and made me feel like family. I got lost of course in the Medina and one of the lovely men came and picked me up and brought me back to the riad. They were always there to help me with my heavy luggage on the stairs. I loved sitting in the rooftop space with the birds calling from the trees while eating their ample and tasty breakfast or drinking some tea. There was always a smile and a helpful person there to greet me. They set up all my transportation for me and found me one of the best tours to the High Atlas Mountains where I had a beautiful hike with a fantastic guide named Abdul.
Cons: The door to the riad is not in the best passageway though it's fairly close to the main gate to the Medina. It's a bit hard to find and not the most beautiful part of the medina. But once inside it's very nice and well located. If you don't like narrow winding stairs it might not be for you but I love them so for me it was fine.

Lovely old riad with exceptional hosts. We stayed 3 nights and felt very welcomed. Our room was up near the terrace. I was warm during our stay but you could open up windows and get lovely breeze (it is air-conditioned as well). Breakfast was lovely and slightly different each day. It was easy nought to find with google maps. Unfortunately we didn't try the dinner so can't comment on that. Excellent location to all the sites including to new city.
Cons: The room we stayed in could do with some hooks or hangers for towels, clothes etc.

Una struttura molto curata situata nel cuore della medina, a pochi passi da tutte le maggiori attrazioni di Marrakech, in una via interna che la rende molto tranquilla e silenziosa. Ma la vera differenza la fanno le persone che gestiscono il Riad, sempre attente e dotate di una cortesia ormai sconosciuta dalle nostre parti. Consiglio, almeno per qualche sera, di farsi preparare la cena e mangiare direttamente nel Riad, in modo da assaporare la vera e ottima cucina marocchina in una situazione unica e rilassante, soprattutto dopo una (credetemi) impegnativa giornata in giro per Marrakech.

Terrazza dove poter fare colazione con una vista splendida su Marrakech. Colazione tipica marocchina ricca e gustosa. Pulizia della camera e generale ottima. Unica piccola postilla, la posizione che è in una via secondaria della medina leggermente difficile da trovare la prima volta, ma comunque posizione generale ottima e centrale rispetto a tutti i maggiori punti di interesse. Gli host sono molto cordiali, gentili e disponibili, Oualid in particolare ci ha accolto a braccia aperte, sempre disponibile per qualsiasi tipo di richiesta o anche soltanto per una chiacchierata. Un posto che consiglierei davvero a chiunque anche per l’ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

La ubicación del alojamiento era fantástica ya que estaba a 5 minutos de la plaza Yamaa El Fna, el trato recibido por parte de Karim y su hermano fue excelente en todo momento (UN FUERTE ABRAZO), asesorándonos sobre los sitios a visitar, así como los consejos por parte de ellos, el desayuno fantástico tanto en surtido, como en la presentación, sin duda y si volvemos a Marrakech, no dudaremos en repetir.

Le petit déjeuné est top, différent chaque jour. Les petites crêpes excellentes, les fruits et jus frais tous les matins. Nous avons pu avoir un dîner complet en rentrant du désert. Un Poulet aux citrons délicieux. Du pain frais. La chambre est simple mais confortable et fonctionnelle. Je reviendrai certainement dans ce Riad. Tout y est paisible et agréable. Merci à toute l’équipe pour les sourires et la gentillesse.

The breakfast is good and it’s lovely eating on the Roof top terrace. The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to assist. The property is a bit dated and the bathroom area was not up to scratch. Property is hard to find…I doubt we would’ve found it on our own without paying one of the many men who seem to stand around asking if you need help then expecting money. The property isn’t as nice as the pictures portray. Very poor WiFi. The towels were changed daily and the bed made up for us.

Das Riad liegt sehr zentral in der Medina, nur wenige Geh-Minuten vom Jemaa el fna entfernt. Wenn man nach der Ankunft durch das Labyrinth der Gassen zu diesem Riad geführt wird, kann man sich erstmal nicht vorstellen, dass man das Riad alleine wiederfindet. Aber es klappt dann doch. Und man ist fast überwältigt, wenn man aus der Gasse durch die kleine Eingangstür geht und in einem grünen Innenhof mit einer großen Palme und sehr viel Ruhe steht. Man kann vom Raid aus zu Fuß verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie z.B. den Palace el Badi oder das Palais de Bahia erreichen. Auch zum Jardin Majorelle kann man zu Fuß gehen. Das Frühstück ist wie ein kleines Büffett am Tisch und es wird auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen. Wir haben uns jeden Morgen auf unser ausgiebiges Frühstück auf dem Dachbalkon gefreut. Die Zimmer waren landestypisch eingerichtet und wurden täglich gereinigt. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Bei der Buchung der Eintrittskarten für den Jardin Majorelle war uns z.B. der junge Mann an der Rezeption eine große Hilfe. Der bestellte Transfer zum Flughafen durch das Riad hat problemlos geklappt. Sehr nett fanden wir auch die (manchmal längeren) Unterhaltungen mit dem jungen Mann, der uns das Frühstück serviert hat. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Riad wirklich empfehlen.

Posizionato in una stradina del centro e quindi decisamente strategico per spostarsi e visitare. Riad tipico e caratteristico per entrare appieno nella cultura locale Stanze pulite e staff gentile e disponibile che ci ha anche organizzato transfer per aeroporto (oltre a tenerci i bagagli il giorno del check-in - essendo arrivati prima dell'orario previsto - e quello del checkout per consentirci di restare in giro fino all'orario del transfer) Colazione ottima: abbondante e variegata! Consigliatissimo

Location in the heart of the Medina, the staff were always happy and willing to answer our questions. The breakfast was very nice and always served with a smile.
Cons: The room was basic, could have had some pictures on the wall and more shelving and a long mirror. Some fans or Aircon on the top terrace would be good.

I stayed in the Junior Suite - Very clean, nothing broken (compared to other similarly priced riads in the area). Beautiful and clean bathroom, new and quiet AC, firm but comfortable mattresses. We felt very comfortable and the staff were super nice and accommodating. Very quiet and calm location, even though it's in the city. Will stay here next time I visit Marrakech :)
Cons: The location is on a small side street in a derb which is not easy to find if you're not familiar with Marrakech city structure. It would be good to have a sign over the door that's visible from the top of the street if possible. Currently there's a sign on the door but you will only see it if you stand in front of it.
