OMG! Absolutely AMAZING STAY! Thanks to Abdul! Excellent communication from the hotel beforehand. Abdul came to meet me and helped me with my suitcase as I would not get lost finding the RIAD in the busy Marrakesh streets. Upon arrival I was welcomed by the stunning property. Clean. Beautiful. Your Moroccan Riad fantasy. A pool in the center. Gorgeous moroccan tiles! The room was very spacious. The biggest I was in throughout my stay in both the north and south of Morocco. Very, very clean! Abdul made the stay extra special with his warmth and hospitality. In the morning, he prepared a coffee and Moroccan breakfast for me. It was truly wonderful. I would absolutely stay again! And I know there are many options for choosing a riad but I would go with this one!!

I wish we stayed here longer! It’s conveniently in the heart of the markets, but we had no trouble sleeping (unsure if that’s because the noise wasn’t too bad or we were very exhausted). The AC was very powerful (yay!) and checking in and out was easy. For a small fee, transportation to the airport was arranged for us as well

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Rating We booked this riad for a group stay based on its high rating (9.3) and attractive photos, expecting a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, what we encountered was far from what was promised. Upon arrival, the reception was unwelcoming, and the attitude of the staff was unfriendly. We were told that payment by credit card was not possible, which was never mentioned in advance. We were forced to pay in Moroccan dirhams, and the exchange rate applied was extremely unfair (1 EUR = 11 MAD), well above the actual rate. When we requested an invoice, we were provided with one in euros, despite paying in dirhams, which made the transaction feel even more unclear and questionable. The rooms were small, uncomfortable, and poorly insulated from outside noise. Despite the riad’s proximity to the main square, it was extremely noisy early in the morning, and we found it difficult to rest. There was also a clear lack of assistance from the staff throughout our stay. Our driver attempted to contact the riad multiple times to coordinate pickup, but there was no proper support or response. In the end, we had to arrange our own transport and were charged extra for it. While some staff members seemed willing to help, it often felt like it was driven by the expectation of a tip rather than genuine hospitality. To put things in context, we had spent the previous two nights at another riad in Marrakech, where the experience was excellent in every aspect — from the warm and professional service to the comfort and quality of the stay. The contrast between the two was striking, and unfortunately, it made the lack of professionalism and hospitality at this riad even more apparent. Sadly, our entire group agreed that this was a disappointing experience that did not reflect the high ratings we saw online. I would not recommend this property to others.
Cons: Very bad

Location was perfect for walking to the medina square and for getting access to transport for my airport transfer. Tea and delightful pastries were served on arrival - so appreciated. Delicious packed breakfast was provided as I checked out earlier than when breakfast was served. This hotel is a true gem.
Cons: Rooms are not very sound proof at night but, in a riad, it’s probably to be expected.

Our experience at Riad Chami was truly outstanding. The location is perfect, close to everything, which made exploring the area so convenient. The staff were incredibly helpful and communicated very well. They assisted us in arranging transport to and from the airport, which made our travel stress-free. What really impressed us was how thoughtful they were about our early flight, they efficiently prepared a takeaway breakfast for us, which was such a kind and practical gesture. The room itself was spotless, honestly, the cleanest I’ve ever experienced in all my bookings. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

My friend and I had a lovely stay at Hotel Riad Chami. It is located just off of the main square which makes it a perfect base to explore Marrakech. The staff is absolutely fantastic, everyone was very kind, friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with some mint tea and local sweets, the structure is very nicely decorated and tidy, the rooms are clean. The breakfast was good and rhetorical terrace where it’s served is very nice. The location is absolutely perfect to soak in the best vibes of the town and despite being so close to the main square, we didn’t hear any noise during the night once we fell asleep. I definitely recommend this Riad and will come back stay here next time I’m in Marrakesh.

The Riad was very nice and the room was very well equipped with AC, TV and a minibar. The staff on duty was very helpful and even carried our luggage up the stairs. We left very early so didn't experience the full breakfast.

A beautiful riad. Located just off the main square. Very convenient. Cute room, but small. Wonderful service - Tariq was especially helpful and kind. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast on the rooftop was beautiful. My only fault was the noise from the courtyard, which I suppose is inevitable given the riad design. Anyway, recommended.

Excellent location just off the main square of Marrakesh. Good-sized room (family) with comfy beds, spotless linen, quality towels and AC/heater combo. Pretty good breakfast. We stayed in three riads on this trip, and I would put this one smack in the middle of the three on quality.
Cons: - Noisy location - somewhat expected given the proximity to the main plaza but loud noise at 7am was not fun. - cash-only payment - airport transfer was not great. Firstly, the hotel ignored my request for the transfer but thankfully we caught this on time. Then, we realized that despite paying a somewhat high amount (more than a taxi or the amount we paid for a transfer at another riad when we first arrived in Marrakesh), we would share the car with another traveler. We had to wait 15 min for the other traveler, making the whole arrangement anxiety inducing and unfair price-wise (shouldn't the price be split across all travelers?)

The location of the riad is very close to the centre square, where all the souks and dining options are located. However, as it is a riad, all the rooms are in very close proximity, so one should not expect to have peaceful sleep with noise of doors banging and people chattering during check in and out throughout the night. I would caution against booking an airport pickup taxi with them as they have forgotten to send the pickup and we were left waiting at the airport gor some time. At the end, we had to take a random taxi ourselves and got ripped off when the driver stopped us at a location quite a distance away from the riad. We ended up paying another fee for a local to take us to the riad. When we arrived at the riad, both the hotel reception, Abdo and Tarek were very apologetic and they were the ones who made our stay enjoyable.

We were only there for less than 12 hours, but I will definitely book here next trip to Marrakech! The driver was very patient waiting for us at the airport, which had a lot of delays due to holiday traveling. The gentleman that checked us in was very welcoming, and even packed us a takeaway breakfast early the next morning so we had something to eat on the start of our tour to the desert. The property itself was very pretty, comfortable, and clean. The location is also only less than 5 minutes of a walk to the market in the old Medina.

Perfect location near to the main square
Cons: I sent messages with questions when booking, but did not get a reply until the day before. On site, I was required to pay in cash. This was not Riad's fault, but several nearby ATMs were broken and unusable, and cash had to be withdrawn from ATMs with high fees. In addition, an unreasonable FX rate was applied in the hotel to the payment in MAD, although the price shown on the website was in euro. This was the only disappointment for my trip to Morocco, as the location of the hotel was good and safer than I expected.

The bathroom was awkwardly constructed. I had to make a U-turn to access the toilet paper since it was behind the toilet. The bedroom was large and nice. The bedroom mattresses were firm and comfortable to sleep on, which I loved. The lights were adequate. Breakfast was supposed to be served at 8 am but it started late when I was there. It's first-come, first-served, but no one told us that. They take their time making the breakfast and bringing it to us, which can be frustrating, especially if you have a tight schedule or need an early start to your day. There were extra property taxes to be paid once I arrived which I did not know about, so the final price increased a lot. The convenience of the location is probably the best part about the riad, because the stalls and souks are just outside, within walking distance. The neighbors get loud and you can sometimes hear catfights and other loud conversations outside late at night when you're trying to sleep. Overall, I like this riad, but the bathroom did feel cramped and the breakfast service was a lot more late and slower than I’m used to.

Renovated, clean, very comfortable suite, lovely breakfast on the rooftop and super close to the main square of the old Medina, yet tucked away in a quiet alleyway.
Cons: Had a less than welcoming experience with the staff. For one they insisted on all-cash payment for the entire stay on the very first night and it was difficult to find ATM machines that had any cash at all, let alone the amount we needed to pay! While that is not Riad's fault, once we were able to get the full amount out of multiple ATMs and handed te full amount to person at the front desk after counting the cash twice, he comes back to our room after 5mins and suggest that we had paid 100 MAD less and wanted us to pay up. After insisting that that was just not possible becuase both he and I had counted the money when we handed him the cash, he started to argue that he was a Muslim and would never cheat--implying that WE were cheating!! I was furious and wanted to leave the Riad right then and there.

The first nights hotel that was booked for us going to the desert, was just awful, called Hotel Peupliers. It was an absolute DIVE. It was the first time I have ever been afraid to stay somewhere. The next night we were told we would get a luxury tent and it was just passable. The experience was an absolute nightmare.

The Riad seemed newly renovated and everything was clean and comfortable. Lovely large rooftop terrace for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi worked great. Just a 2min walk from Jemaa Elfnaa, so it’s easy to find your way around.
Cons: Bathroom a bit small but workable. We were on the ground floor and some noise travels into the room from people chatting in the central courtyard. Despite that, had a lovely stay.

Location was in the center, in Medina, but the street was so small that taxis couldn’t pickup at the door, on the day we arrived, taxi let us on the big plaza, when we didn’t know where was the hotel. The hotel street was really dirty, and with terrible smell, that we used the cap mask to walk on.
Cons: Really clean and comfortable mattress, the cleaner lady was very kind and always smile.

The stay in Riad was fantastic. The host Abdo and Tariq were patient, hospitable and welcoming. My dad was well taken care of by Abdo and the rest of the staff. I would recommend this Raid without question to anyone as a couple or a family/ solo traveller. The location is very close to the square and lots of food/shopping places. The options on the tv were varied, with apps and international tv channels. The staff also sort out tours at reasonable prices. It is a family friendly places as there were quiet a few of us. the rooftop was nice, and fresh breakfast was enjoyable in the morning. I will be booking this riad again, if i am back in Marrakech !!!
Cons: handle or seat in the shower for older / safety

It was VERY clean. The staff was wonderful. The young man at the front desk was a pleasure to deal with and super helpful with recommending restaurants and local attractions. Can’t say enough about him! The location is excellent, half block from the main market in the Madina (old town). The traditional breakfast on the rooftop each morning was delicious and included in the price. My wife adds the shampoo and body wash were excellent.
Cons: The bed was very firm but no an issue, just a personal preference.

Amazing architecture at the Riad and the location was great - 5min walking to the Jema El Fnaa. Very friendly staff. The breakfast at the rooftop was absolutely great, fresh and diverse.
Cons: The addition of "Hotel" to the Riad's name turns it a bit pricey in terms of quality-cost balance. The room is a bit narrow, although for a 2-people short stay is really fine. The bath door should be reassessed since it allows the water to go out of the baths' area, making everything wet (and slippery) to the room.

I recently stayed at this charming riad located just steps away from Jemaa el Fna square, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location couldn't be better for exploring the heart of Marrakech. The riad itself was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, offering a serene oasis amidst the bustling streets. The staff were not only professional but also incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting Marrakech. Abdo arranged our taxi from the airport to the hotel. Good restaurants recommendation.

Riad Chami is clean, tidy and has comfortable beds and pillows. Our room and shower were cleaned each day. There's a nice breakfast at the rooftop. It is very close to the Square. Abdo was very helpful. We arrived at 1:30am and he was there to welcome us. He gave a list of eating places, money exchange and sights to visit around Medina. He's very helpful with all our enquiries.
Cons: It would be nice to have free bottle water each day.

I really had an enjoyable stay at the Hotel Riad Chami. its an excellent location. Very clean and beautiful rooms. Abdul the staff member who I saw mainly was extremely helpful, nothing seemed to much trouble for him. The breakfast was nice which was served on the roof garden.
Cons: I wish you could have paid my bill by card. I unwisely exchanged my money at the airport in the UK before leaving and got a terrible rate which I didn't check at the time. I had to pay a further £40 in sterling as I not got enough local currency for the bill when I got there, which seemed madness, seeing how much I exchanged. I used all m money I intended for the trip. I did ask for a receipt for my bill, but didn't get one, therefore I have no idea what exchange they used to get to £40.. Having not slept for 24 hours prior to getting there, I just paid. I took it at face value, but I was not sure, even now I wonder. On saying this, I would stay there again, it was a lovely and friendly place. Next time, I would just be a bit more wiser as to where I exchange my money and in what currency I pay my bill.

Breakfast very good and staff friendly, the location is very good too! The room was amazing and we felt very welcome.
Cons: The acoustics meant that sound travelled very easily so the staff need to tell guests to be quiet so as to respect other guests. The staff were fantastic and adressed the noise issues caused by some unthinking guests. More of an observation than a complaint. It would be a good idea if a drinks (coffee, tea, orange etc) station was set up in the breakfast area so they could help themselves etc while waiting fro breakfast. This would be a 'win win' for staff and guests.

Un havre de paix au mi'ieu de la tumultueuse médina de Marrakech. La découverte de ce riad fut un réel plaisir. À deux pas de la place Jemaa El Fna, magnifique riad très calme, d'une grande propreté. Cons: They didn’t allow us to pay by card and have to use the cash we had for our holidays. Don’t book a trip to the waterfalls with them, they will ask for 23/25€ all included, then when on the excursion the guide asked us to pay 3€ for his services plus the boat trip!

The location was good. Very close to the main square. The staff were really nice. Tarik and Abdul, they’re both very sweet and very helpful. We had a problem with the hot water and for that I don’t recoment anyone to stay there, BUT I know it’s NOT THE STAFF FAULT. Their boss and owner of the riad should fix the problem. But he clearly didn’t care because we saw him there and he never worried about apologising or refunding us for a percentage of the staying.
Cons: I reserved for 4 nights, the 2 first nights were fine but the last 2 days there were NO HOT SHOWER !!! Which really upset me, because it’s winter and for 100€ a night a hot shower it’s the minimum I expect to have. The staff said they would call someone to fix it, but they never did… because the problem it is: they don’t have a big enough heather for all the guests, in summer it may work since Marrakesh is really warm but in winter time it’s cold cold so it really bothered me they kinda lie about calling someone to fix it, since they knew what the real problem was. I suggest when the guest arrive they let them know about the shower situation and maybe advise them to not take long showers because the other guests might not have hot water for themselves.

The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff Abdo and Tariq are friendly and the housekeeping. The location is perfect, literally 1-2 mins. walk to the main square and 5 mins walk to main roads. I felt safe walking in the alleys going to the hotel because of the short distance as compared to other alleys that feels dodgy.
Cons: I wish they served bottled water daily. And the breakfast time can be earlier because they serve at 8am, which can be late and an inconvenience if you have excursions. Not a big deal, but I have they served more eggs and less bread instead.

Perfect stay - don't hesitate to book! We can't say enough good things about the riad. Management are amazing, Abdul Rahman and Tariq went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They even helped us book some excursions and ensured that we had the best possible price and negotiated on our behalf. Rooms were clean and tidy and the entire riad felt new. The rooms were quaint but that is to be expected with the riad location. Very good breakfast and location. Staff was excellent. Very helpful. The manager even helped us with booking short excursions. One of the excursions did not turn out to be 100% what we booked and the hotel manager immediately gave us back the difference of what we booked and what we got. He is so helpful that made the whole stay feel safe, secure and comfortable. The location is excellent if you want to explore the centre of Marrakesh. The small alley the hotel is located is full of other hotels and completely safe.
Cons: The rooms can feel a bit small but the overall experience at the hotel makes it insignificant.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The decor is well suited and the rooftop is so lovely. The staff are probably the highlight though, they're very kind, friendly and informative. We loved our stay in Riad Chami as we stayed for 3 nights in Marrakesh. The entire riad is newly renovated from a few months ago, so all the amenities were in perfect condition. The two men who operate the riad were also extremely friendly, hospitable, and helpful in answering all of our questions. The breakfast every morning on the 3rd floor terrace was amazing. But the best part I think is the location. You are literally one minute walk away from Jemaa el-Fnaa (google maps was slightly incorrect and actually doesn't show how close the riad actually is). And yet none of the chaos and noise travels back to the riad. It was extremely convenient for us to be able to use this riad as our escape from the main square throughout the day. Would absolutely recommend this place!
Cons: The rooms themselves are slightly small, but certainly didn't get in the way of anything we needed.

Great location, super close to main square, but in quiet street, stuff who works there and it's always kind and helpful, nicely decorated rooms and the whole riad.. Squized orange juice for breakfast, fast wi-fi...
Cons: Very hard and uncomforfable matress.. Rooms shouldn't be in ground floor, there is a lot of noice. Other people from Germany, Spain etc, who were also there didn't respect house rules and for example sat in front of our window, drank coffee, talked loudly.. We really couldn't rest and sleep well. Bottle of water and slippers should be included.

I had a great stay in this riad. The room is cleaned daily and looks beautiful. There is a fresh and delicious breakfast every day. The people working in this riad are very hospitable and no question is too much for them. Furthermore, the riad is very close to the famous square, so you can reach it within a 2-minute walk. In the evening, it's quiet in the riad and you don't hear any noise from outside. In short, it's a top location if you want to stay in a riad for a few days. Highly recommended!

This Riad was definitely one of the best things of our trip. 100% recommend. Every time we felt the need to relax a bit from the busy centre of Marrakech we would just go back to the Riad and relax a bit - made our trip so much better, we felt so comfortable there! Good things: - staff is extremely attentive and kind, helping us in anything we needed - The bedroom : was very comfortable and = to the pictures. Was extremely clean and they did clean it everyday - which we appreciated very much. Also the AC worked amazing and had a night mode so we could be fresh even during the night. Bed super comfy - Breakfast was super complete and fresh, we loved it so much!!! - The middle space in the Riad even small was so comfortable and felt fresh compared to outside - Even being so close to the centre somehow we couldn’t hear anything from the busy town - We also booked our taxi to and from airport with our Riad and was very good as well as with a decent price - Location: very near to the main square el fna! To sum up: we 100% recommend this Riad. It’s an excellent place to stay.

Very nice brand new rooms with a fridge, very nice breakfast on the rooftop terrace and the staff is excellent. Mustafa is a real star. He met me by my cab upon my arrival, immediately made mint tea and welcomed me to Marrakech and gave me a lot of advice every day during my week long stay and was overall a really service minded and nice guy. 1. The hotel is brand new and thus very clean and up to date. 2. It is also in a really great location within walking distance of most attractions and anywhere in the old Marrakech Médina. 3. The place is very secure as they keep the main door closed at all times and only allow people in they know after they knock. They also have security cameras. 4. The staff is truly wonderful! They are all very kind and professional. The owner is also super friendly and fun to chat with. He is very knowledgeable as he is a retired industry professional.
Cons: 1. The bed was very very hard! Since I was there for a longer stay, I was a little soar haha. But I think this was because the hotel is very new and so the beds and mattresses are very very new! I honestly may have been the first person to have stayed in my room. 2. They still don't have payment by Credit Card setup so it was tough to have to pay in cash especially since they didn't accept US dollars. I had to visit several of the near by ATMs - since ATMs have limits on transactions and even run out of money in Morocco. But they do accept Euros if you don't have enough cash in Dirhams. I'm sure they will soon get set up with card readers though so this should not be a problem for long. 3. The breakfast was very basic but good. I'm sure they will come up with more varieties and offerings in time as they get more settled in and established.

Best Raid in Marrakech! Basically, 10-20 steps away from the central market Jema El Fna. You’re in the heart of Marrakech! Everything is new and comfortable, and you’re helped with any details and info that might make you stay and/or trip amazing!

The rooms were very clean and the entire hotel was quite cozy. Moustafa, the concierge/host was super helpful in giving us a guide and tips for the city of Marrakech. Breakfast was included and was nice to have a full meal before going out.
Cons: They didn’t accept credit card so we had to pay cash.

First of all, all staff members were so nice and friendly with me. Offering me a warm smile and talking so gently with me. The overall Riad was amazing I Really loved how organized and well decorated, specially with traditional Moroccan aesthetic. the room was very clean and tidy and well organized as well. I really loved it there. I highly recommended to book this Riad.
Cons: I don’t think there was something that I disliked about the property.
