Donde está ubicado.

Cons: El sitio huele a gato.

We know it. We dont mind slumming it if its clean and quiet. We know the area so great for me and my friend.

Its a bit shabby but its clean, quiet during the night and in heart of real morrocco which we like but others may not. There is a coat stand that doubles as a wardrobe but we dont mind things like that others may not be happy with that. The main square is a 30 mins walk but a stop at chez hicham for a juice on route is great we did the same on the way back too it was a daily routine. Traffic outside riad is mad but you get used to it and just crack on. We would go back again it was our 3rd time staying there it suits us but if you want luxery its not the place to go.

Cons: It was a little noisier at night this time but it did go quiet for a good nights sleep.

Location was fine

Cons: Old and dusty room. Bed linen was gross (not a proper duvet, just a dirty blanket/throw used). The smell from the drains was so bad that it woke me up in the middle of the night. They offered a taxi service from airport but when I asked them about it and gave them a time and place, they ignored it. I only heard back today and I have been home from my trip for 3 days so obviously that is too late. Staff were unfriendly

Cons: I had a very disappointing experience. The staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional, showing no interest in helping or even treating customers with basic courtesy. The customer service was terrible—slow responses, no willingness to resolve issues, and an overall lack of care. On top of that, the facilities were in poor condition: dirty, poorly maintained, and far from what was advertised. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service or a decent environment.

This place is full of character! I had a simple and cosy room on an upper floor and enjoyed sitting outside in the evening and the morning. The neigbourhood is great with restaurants nearby and coffee places in the morning. I booked here because of the location as a halfway point between the souks and train/bus stations. Just one tip: It's probably better to check in earlier rather than late in the evening.

I liked the location and the interior decor; it felt like a typical Moroccan riad.

Cons: Everything was very disorganized, dirty, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work properly. They gave us a room almost on the fifth floor, very small, with a very, very tiny window, and the sheets were dirty. I requested a taxi at 11, and it arrived at 11:30. To clarify, I requested it directly at the hotel, and yet it was late. There was cat feces in the dining area, which I found very unhygienic. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room, only downstairs. Honestly, I was quite disappointed.

The host was very helpful. He helped with the airport transfer for a reasonable price. When I reached the hotel, which was around 10.30pm, he helped with money exchange, and did it for a very fair rate. He also set us up with a trip to Merzouga, which was also at a very fair price.

Cons: Everything else. Hands down, the worst place I have ever spent a night. I have stayed in many budget hotels, but this one is by far the worst. It is full with dirty cats, and you can smell them when you first go in. No lobby, no formal check in, the place is dark, and you get all the bad vibes. The room is very dirty, I'm sure they haven't clean the place in ages. The beddings and pillows smell so bad, I couldn't even sleep with my face down (I didn't sleep for more than an hour anyway, because the cats started mating around midnight and continued until the dawn). The door barely locked, and didn't give me any confidence so I had to carry all the valuables when I went out. The riad is very hard to find, as the location in the Google map is totally different from the actual entrance. I know budget places don't come with any luxuries, but cleanliness is something anyone can achieve with very low or no cost at all. They haven't cleaned the room or bedding in a very long time. I will never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone in their right mind.

The terrace was beautiful at night with all the lights that could be flipped with a switch, very efficient!

The courtyard of the Riad had a nice feel and aesthetic look to it. The location was close to the Sheik Juzuli's landmark. Marwan or Waseem and the old lady were nice people.

Cons: Upon arriving at the Riad, the address was not correct and there was two entrances which did not make it easy to locate the Riad. Upon finding the entrance we had to find our own way to the "reception area" which was actually just a sofa in a poorly lit corridor. The manager started off asking if we met the driver at the airport to bring us to the riad. I had already spoken to the Riad via booking.com messaging explaining that we will be making our own way there as we have a personal driver, to which the manager responded back by saying 'ok.' The manager was adamant that I had not spoken to them, therefore I showed him the messages to which he silently acknowledged without an apology. The room had many flaws. Firstly, the main light did not work so we had to use the wall light and a lamp. Secondly, the Riad was not clean (as mentioned by other reviewers). The floor was grimey, the toilet seat was stained, the bed had many stains and white flakes (no idea what that was) and the water in the shower and tap either did not work or the pressure was extremely low most of the time. Also, the sink came off the wall a number of times when I would lean on it slightly, and thankfully I caught it before it fell to the ground. We received two towels, which were not clean and had many stains and smells on them. I requested clean towels, however we once again received stained towels. The manager was not a pleasant person to deal with. After using the stained towels, we were hoping to receive some new towels the next day however the manager said "we do not provide new towels daily, please hang them on the rail to sun dry them." I have stayed in Riad's before, and this was not the case. We also had issues with the WiFi which did not work, and when it did, it was not great. AC did not work despite paying extra for it. Bed did not have a headboard. Mattresses were very uncomfortable.

location was convenient. price was cheap.

Cons: My experience with Riad Dar Zaida was so poor that I actually cut my Morocco short by a few days because of that. When I arrived, the staff was testing the shower water, so they were aware that there was some issue. Walking into the room, the musty odor was overwhelming. Despite that, I still decided to stay against my better judgement. That evening the adjacent room had 2 young kids which sounded like they were in the same room as mine. That kept me awake until late. The next morning when I went to shower, there was absolutely no warm water (ice-cold). I let the water run for awhile, but still no luck. I waited an hour and tried again. Still no hot water. The Wi-Fi did not work to contact the staff, so I found them downstairs. By that time, there was some hot water. Despite the fact that they were checking it when I first checked in, they still acted like that was the first time they were aware of any problem. I then tried the toilet and there was no water in the tank to flush. When staff came to fix that problem, he asked me why I was complaining and that no other guests were complaining. Hot water and functioning toilets are just basic essentials that I would expect of any overnight accommodation. The room was dirty.

1) It gives you the feel of a traditional Riad. 2) The staff was very friendly, helpful and accomodating. 3) The location is near to the airport and the main tourists spots as well. 4) The terrace(rooftop) and the courtyard garden/dining area is a good place to chill.

Cons: 1) The overall cleanliness could be better. Like the room walls, carpets, cushions etc could be much better. 2) The main entrance should be properly mentioned..it was a bit confusing. 3) Basic amenities like drinking water and toiletries should be provided.

Our stay at Riad Dar Zaida was very nice. The Riad has a beautiful inner courtyard, where you can relax, drink tea and hide from the busy street and have a nice local breakfast for 3€. The rooms are simple but comfortable and clean for a 4/5 day stay. It's located at Rue el Gza an excellent location if you are looking for a true local experience. It is very close to the Medina and the Souks, so you can walk over there. The staff was really nice and extremely helpful, specially Sahil! Excellent relation quality/price and a nice cultural experience that reminded me of my roots and of what Iberian Peninsula used to be before this stupid European dream. If you have lot's of money and want to have a postcard touristic experience or swimming pools, go somwehere else or stay at home watching TV.

Cons: There was a plumbing problem with the shower siphon, but we later realized that it was a general problem in the city and not just in the accommodation.

Amazing location right next to the souks, meant you were in the heart of the city to experience its culture to the maximum. Ilias and Hosn were the best hosts and told us everything we needed to know about the area. They provided everything we needed and printed our boarding passes as well as pickup from the airport. Excellent value for money and great breakfast.

Cons: Rooms were in a poor state, the bathroom was filthy with no handsoap provided. The towel given was ripped with large holes in them. Breakfast was left on landing outside room which consisted of a bread roll, butter and jam. Water was cold and stopped running when toilet was flushed.

Beautiful riad with very friendly staff and very nice rooms both in decoration and size. Great roof terrace and lobby as well. I was also allowed to use the washing machine free of charge which was a big plus. Area is super local without many tourists around which is what I expected. Many little traditional restaurants around as well as a large market with food carts and fruit and veg. Short walk to both Jemaa El Fna and Gueliz as well. Wifi also decent which isn't always the case in riads.

Cons: Only minus was the a/c not being very powerful so it was a little hot in the room but not too bad.

The host Hussain is the most kindest person ever. His attention to detail in regard to my stay was flawless. The room was clean and well equipped. Comfortable bedding and fresh towels. The hotel offers excursions at very reasonable prices. I ended up going to ouzoud falls for a day.

Place very charming and colorful, historic building, very helpful owner, offers cheap tours of Morocco.

Cons: The maid had a vacation :) In the bathroom unpleasant smell from the sewage system, poor water pressure, problems with hot water. Breakfast very modest, daily bread, butter, jam. Problems with Wi-Fi, we did not use the air conditioning. On the terrace it would be useful to have a kettle so that you could make tea while spending the evenings. Overall standard for tourists for one night with backpacks. Some of the photos of the property on the booking belong to the restaurant which operates separately.

The location is great for bustle of the edge of the medina- less tourist based , so cheaper. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating- friendly and helpful . We will definitely stay here again. Also good transport links for travel around Morocco or airport/local city stuff.

Very friendly, helpful owner and staff, if you want to experience real Marrakesh in a family hosted place and not a sterile environment in an original quarter near to the main square, this is highly recommended. The owner also told us some tips and tricks for the street. With every question and wish we could bother him.

We come to Marrakech after midnight, he send as location information and deal with us getting to hotel safe and smooth. We don't stay too much at the hotel, but staff was very helpfull to us.

Cons: It's cold in the winter. But we heard in the blogs that most of the riads in Morocco are cold in the winter, So we didn't make it's a big deal. Get prepared for it if you go to Morocco in the winter.

Quality-Price is very good. The service was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was really good and tasty, the last day we asked for some typical moroccan “crepes” and they made them for us, also they prepared breakfast earlier for us too everyday. The location is great, quiet and 15min walk through the Zouk to the Jemaa el Fnaa Square. Great places to eat very close to the Riad as well. The room was good, not too big but we didn’t need more. We asked for 2 beds so we had a big bed and a single one. The Riad is very authentic!! Decoration is really nice and they have a terrace above where you can see the city and sunrise. We also booked a trip to have dinner in the Agafay desert. Pretty nice!!

Central location in the Medina. The owner allowed us to check in and use the room in advance of the time and offered a nice tea. It is clean and it is safe as I saw someone always at the entrance of the riad. You can also book with them trips and the taxi from/to airport. Wi-fi was working in the room. I would recommend you ask to the owner to send you the google location and take note of the main entrance (number 71) as there are two.

Cons: not applicable

Location. Perfect for a layover stay before leaving Marrakech. The Riad is few minutes away from Jmaa efna but not far. It is near taxi stand and Bus going to airport. The Riad entrance is on the main road but quiet inside. Although not so quiet at night because of the cats. Loud cats mating and fighting at night! The staff is nice and friendly. He accommodated my checkout extension.

Cons: The cats inside the riad are mating and fighting at night

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Location is good and correctly indicated though there are two different entrances. The building is nice although a bit rundown. Wifi worked well.

Cons: One window glass in the room was broken, the overall feeling was that the house could use a little renovation. There was a sewage smell in the bathroom. The picture of the court yard isn't from the actual building.

The man welcoming us was nice and kind. The riad is nice!

Cons: The internet connection was so slow, there are not wardrobe in the rooms. Marrakech is a place with very good price for eat in the restaurants, bar and in the street, so the breakfast here is just bread, butter and jam, coffe and tea.

Our stay at Riad Dar Zaida was great! The rooms are simple but very comfy and clean. The Riad has a beautiful inner courtyard, where you can relax and drink tea and hide from the busy street. It's located very close to the Medina, so you can walk over there in no time and the staff was really nice and extremely helpful!

The yard, the personnel

Cons: Dirty room, no water on first day, we had to search for the manager twice to ask him to change the water phone (which was totallt destroyed). Only the next day at afternoon he came to change and fix the issue. Aircondition was not working. At 16 degrees the air was hot. The room in general was hot even when outside the temperature was cool. Disappointing experience in overall. Thankfully we stayed only for 2. days .
