The owner was absolutely incredible!! He allowed us to check in late and check out early in the morning for our desert tour. Although we were leaving before breakfast, he prepared us some quick breakfast food to eat on the way! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We wanted to stay for another night when we got back from our tour but unfortunately it was all booked.
Cons: If you have large checked suitcases it may be difficult to get through the souks. We had rolling carrying ons and it was a little difficult in crowded areas.

Me encantó el riad, su ubicación, pero sobre todo Luna y Sana, tengo que decir que con mis hijos se portaron genial, sobre todo con el pequeño. Fueron muy amables, atentas y cariñosas. No nos faltó de nada, ellas se preocuparon que cualquier cosa estuviera a nuestro gusto, uno de los días por excursión nos adelantaron el desayuno, incluso nos llenó botellitas pequeñas de agua fresca para el camino al aeropuerto. El chico de la noche es un encanto también, muy amable y atento igual. Contraté el servicio de transporte de aeropuerto con ellos y quedé muy satisfecha, el chico fue igual que todos muy simpático y amable. Si vuelvo a Marrakech, tengo claro que me alojaré ahí.

Nos encantó el desayuno, abundante y variado. El Riad tiene una ubicación excelente, en pleno centro de la Medina, a 5 minutos de la Plaza Jemaa el Fna. El personal muy atento y muy acogedor. Tienen servicio de recogida en el aeropuerto por lo que la llegada fue muy cómoda y aunque no nos dejaron justo delante del riad porque no se puede acceder con coche nos acompañaron todo el camino a pie hasta allí. En general buena relación calidad-precio.
Cons: La iluminación de la habitación y sobre todo del baño. Pasamos un poco de frío desayunando en el patio, podrían tener la opción de poder desayunar en el interior por ejemplo pensando en los fríos días de invierno. Nuestra estancia fue maravillosa gracias al personal, que es excepcional. Sin embargo, como nota para viajeros con sensibilidad alérgica o piel delicada, sugerimos tener precaución con las alfombras, ya que pueden acumular polvo y ácaros. En nuestro caso, tuvimos algunas reacciones cutáneas, por lo que recomendamos llevar antihistamínicos si se es propenso a estas molestias."

El personal que trabaja son demasiado especiales; las chicas super encantadoras y el chico de turno de noche es fantastico, todos super atentos y amorosos. El lugar nos encantó, dormimos super bien, está muy bien situado y de facil acceso. Nos tocó la habitación Tanger, era muy espaciosa y el baño tambien, con todo lo necesario. Repetiremos sin duda, nos sentimos como en casa.

Tipico Riad nel centro di Marrakech, vicinissimo alla piazza principale Jemaa El Fna ma fuori dal via vai della Medina. Le due host Lubna e Sena sono state davvero stupende, deliziandoci ogni mattina con colazioni davvero top, sempre molto disponibili, gentili e super accoglienti. Noi avevamo la quadrupla per un viaggio di famiglia con nostre figlie: le dimensioni della camera non sono eccessive ma siamo stati comunque molto bene. Lo consiglio assolutamente! Grazie davvero per il vostro eccellente servizio.

La gentilezza del personale, disponibile sin dall'aeroporto con Hassan a farci da autista, è la cosa che più resta impressa di questo soggiorno. Da subito una delle ragazze ci ha portato a un change conveniente, per poi guidarci nei meandri della Medina verso il Riad, in un groviglio di gente che può metterti in difficoltà a primo impatto. Ma appunto, grazie alla loro cordialità e alla posizione perfetta del posto (vicinissimo a Jemaa El Fna, eppure lontano da rumori molesti), tutto è sembrato più semplice e gestibile. Grazie poi ai consigli del bravissimo Ibrahim, abbiamo anche scoperto "chicche" gastronomiche a prezzi popolari e altri magnifici posti nei dintorni. Come già menzionato da altri, la colazione è stata sempre superlativa, e la pulizia della stanza ci ha sorpreso in positivo. Il secondo giorno ci hanno addirittura riparato il doccino (difettoso, ma funzionante) senza che noi glielo avessimo chiesto. Consigliato vivamente, rapporto qualità prezzo altissimo!

Our hosts were amazing, from the airport pickup and drop off, through preparing us early breakfast when we were traveling, every time kind and attentive. The location is in the heart of the old city, close to restaurants and the street markets. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfy.

De gastvrijheid van Sana en Loubhna was fantastisch. Zulke lieve en zorgzame dames. Vanaf aankomst tot vertrek. Staan altijd voor je klaar en niets is ze teveel. Altijd een lach op hun gezicht. De riad was al erg mooi en authentiek, maar door deze twee dames was ons verblijf nog leuker!

El trato del personal es buenísimo, son muy amables y atentos en todo lo que necesitas. La ubicación es muy buena, el Riad está escondido en una calle pequeña, pero no es difícil de encontrar. Las camas y almohadas son muy cómodas y el desayuno muy completo. Ha sido un placer, cuando volvamos a Marrakech sin duda repetiremos en este Riad.

Cons: Das "Frühstück" war ein wenig mau. Es gab Baguette mit Marmelade, Ei, Banane,Pfannkuchen. Haben wir schon besser erlebt. Warum trotz des insgesamt guten Eindrucks die schlechte Bewertung? : Leider mussten wir feststellen,dass das Personal sich an unserer Birnenschnappsflasche verging. Ich kann verstehen, dass die Versuchung groß sein muss, gerade wenn es in einem Land wie Marroko nur sehr schwer ist, an eine solche Köstlichkeit zu gelangen. Dennoch ist und bleibt dies schlichtweg Diebstahl. Als wir das Personal darauf ansprachen, wurde jegliche Verantwortung von sich gewiesen. Nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung haben wir erhalten. Schade,dass dadurch der eigentlich solide Gesamteindruck völlig ruiniert wurde. Am besten also Koffer nach Möglichkeit abschließen.

It was a great experience. The staff was amazing, they even made breakfast earlier for us 2 days because we needed to go out before breakfast time. The room has space, the bathroom was also big. It's very well located, it gives you the true Marrakech experience to arrive there. Price was amazing for 7 people. Recommend it!
Cons: It's a little bit hard to find at first, but they sent you information on how to get there, and specially to avoid people that tell you they'll get you there and ask for money WiFi could be better

Riad comodo, pulito, accogliente. Personale gentile. In posizione centrale, abbiamo fatto fatica a trovare il posto, il navigatore secondo le indicazioni date ci portava sulla strada principale. Quando abbiamo contattato il Riad ci hanno poi mandato la posizione giusta ed era in una stradina laterale, impossibile arrivarci senza maggiori indicazioni. Camera accogliente, pulita. Letti comodi. Bagno grande, ben accessoriato. Colazione buona, abbondante. Lo consiglio per vivere in un'atmosfera tradizionale. Grazie mille per i tre giorni passati in questa oasi di tranquillità in mezzo al caos di Marrakech!
Cons: L'unico aspetto che può sembrare negativo è il vicolo buio che porta al Riad un po' inquietante ma la zona è tranquilla.

Il Riad è bello e la sua posizione è molto centrale, comoda per visitare la medina.
Cons: La camera, nel cortile, è piccola e poco accogliente. Se si tengono le valigie aperte è quasi impossibile camminare dentro la stanza. Inoltre, la posizione sul cortile toglie completamente la privacy. Alle 7 le ragazze iniziano a preparare la colazione e se hai il sonno leggero, hai finito di dormire, nonostante loro facciano davvero in modo di fare poco rumore. In particolare, durante il nostro soggiorno, un gruppo di persone è partito molto presto ed alle 6 non è stato più possibile dormire dato che si sono riuniti per i saluti proprio davanti alla nostra camera..

Bezaubernd! Es ist ein wunderschöner ruhiger Innenhof mitten in Marrakesch. Mittendrin aber sehr ruhig. Das Personal wunderbar und stets zuvorkommend und immer erreichbar. Beim Planen der weiteren Reise haben sie uns gut geholfen. Unser Zimmer wurde jeden morgen gemacht und aufgeräumt sowie geputzt und Handtücher getrocknet. Das Frühstück im wunderschönen Innenhof war ruhig und entspannend. Jeden Morgen gab es erwas anderes zum Frühstück. Im gesamten war das Riad sehr günstig. Nach vier Nächten geht es für uns weiter. Cons: - The path to the riad (dark and sometimes narrow alleys) could definitely be scary if you are a solo female traveler—especially considering the presence of groups of kids and teenagers who are “trying to help” and keep yelling ‘it’s close, it’s close’! - in winter the room could be very cold. - there is no noises from hectic Medina but you can easily hear people who are talking in their room upstairs or in the courtyard!

Amazing experience. The riad is clean, with a nice rooftop and large bedrooms. The location is perfect, just 5 min walk to the Jemaa el-Fnaa square. There are lots of shops around opened until midnight. The breakfast is really good and well served. Furthermore, all the staff is very friendly. We felt at home staying there.

Fabulous place. A small, quiet paradise in the middle of the old Medina. Acient, cozy little gem. The furniture, the small details all give you a special feeling, staying at a wealthy maroccon family's house back in time. The breakfast is amazing, the staff super kind and helpful. They lighted up the beautiful tile stove for us, for the breakfast time. Note, that there is no heating in the rooms, but they provided a small electric radiator, which worked prity well, made the room filled with warmth in the winter time. The bathroom was cold, though, but the hot water made us forgot it. Definitely would come back again.

Riad Dar Marhaba is located very centrally, 2 min from the big square Jemaa el Fna and still it is very quiet in the nice little courtyard with the big orangetree. Breakfast was delicious and varied every day a bit.
Cons: The interaction with the staff was a bit unpersonal, but always friendly. The room was quiet small, but everything clean and comfortable. Even the bed was made for us.

We stayed in this Riad in our first night in Marrakesh. The guy running the place (sorry I forgot the nameee🥲) is very sweet and kind, he came to get us in the street where we arrived with the taxi and took us until the Riad. Meanwhile he recommended us some places to go for dinner. The Riad is very beautiful and cozy, inside the medina very close to the square. He also prepared us the breakfast earlier because we had to leave for a tour. I would definitely reccomend this place, thank you so much for everything, it was amazing 🙏🏻☀️

Dar Marhaba is inside the Medina close to the square and souks, but, it's so calm. You open a little door in a small street and inside is a beautiful quiet garden. The staff is really nice, ready to answer to all our needs. Breakfast is delicious. We did everything by walking, and we enjoyed our stay a lot!

The location was great, the staff of the riad were extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and exactly the right amount and variety. Much recommended great value for money!
Cons: It is important to know that you can hear very loudly the muezzin's call for prayer from the room early in the morning (like between 4-5). We woke up to it after a very long and exhausting journey. It is not the riad's fault, just something to be aware of.

Location is right in the centre of Medina. The main square, market, multiple dining options are just behind the corner. At the same time it is surprisingly very quiet. The patio offers pleasant space to rest from the heat, crowd and noise of the city. Hotel stuff is very polite.
Cons: Breakfast quality varies depending on the person who prepared it. We stayed two nights and one morning it was very good, another one just average. The streets leading to the hotel may be extremely crowded. The riad is a typical Moroccan type of hotel placed in the old town (medina) which has some downsides on default such as dark rooms, it may be loud when there are more people staying in a hotel, bathrooms are not European standard.

I was staying with a group of 7 of us over two different stays. Pros: The courtyard here is the best. It’s big, and there is another terrace upstairs. It’s so quiet and peaceful. The boss Hassan was on hand on WhatsApp for any issue I had, along with arranging for several taxis including having someone to manually walk us to or pick us up for the closest road. He was very responsive. Even when the airport lines took two hours for our guests to get through, the taxis were dedicated to collecting them. The rooms are nicely decorated with lots of little details The hotel is a stones throw from the main square The night worker Abdul was awesome and felt like a pal by the end of the trip. It’s down a side street but doesn’t feel unsafe, the street it is off of is very very busy. But still, women shouldn’t walk alone at night off of the busy street. There are multiple eateries right on the doorstep. Including the best restaurant - Le Grand Bazaar Breakfast was really good Cons: I had pre arranged that our triple rooms were three single beds, and one was a double and one single, which luckily we could resolve, but only by chance. The second stay this was resolved. The location is a little tricky and means walking with your heavy bag through the craziness of Marrakech from either the main square or from a road further away. The street it’s off of gets overwhelmingly busy during the weekend, so you end up shuffling like packed sardines very slowly until you reach the square. It was like being at a festival! The day staff do not speak english, so this made communication quite difficult. There is also no fixed reception and sometimes I couldn’t find staff. If sharing a room you’ll only be given one key per room You’ll be woken at 4am by the prayer speaker right next to the hotel (but this is most places in Marrakech)

This is a traditional, very cozy riad that is located in the heart of Marrakech within 5 minutes walk to the main square. Although the area is super busy, the room offered a great shelter from the crowd and noises. It is very traditionally decorated, with dimmed lights and unique ambience. Breakfasts are served in the courtyard, where a big orange tree is providing shadow and birds are chirping. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Cons: The only thing that might have been a small issue while staying in the riad is very limited privacy one has there, and not all guests were respecting that when e.g. speaking on the phone.

We have previously stayed at Dar Marhaba and really liked the place however it’s been fully booked each time but we got lucky to have been able to book it this time. The location is perfect as it is in the centre of jema el fna, the staff was great and very helpful throughout our trip. The breakfast was really nice and the owner Hassan was a exceptional host and I would recommend if you get a chance to stay at this riad because it is one of the best in marrakech. A big thankyou for Abdul for always being kind and courteous and helping us and making us mint tea at night. We also had the most delicious meal at the riad which we would definitely recommend. Thankyou for our stay 5***

Everything was great! The hosts were so lovely and welcoming! The place is just beautiful, traditionally and (very) tastefully decorated. The room was spacious and matched the pictures and description. The beds were comfortable and had a good amount of blankets for the cold nights we had. There was no external noises from the street and we woke up at the sound of the birds in the court yard. The breakfast was traditional morrocan, delicious and a great amount. The hosts went over and beyond with everything. We will definitely come back! Thank you so much!

We had originally booked 2 nights, but we had some problems during our trip and could not make it for the first one, so he very kindly changed our reservation to only one night. The bed was comfy, the shower had a good water pressure, overall a pretty nice riad. Good internet speed.
Cons: It is a bit difficult to find. Try to walk very confidently on those little streets, like you know where you are going, so to avoid all the 'helpful' people that want to show you around and expect money afterwards.

Riad is in a very good location, Medina, close to the main square. Despite being close to noisy square and streets, it’svery calm. The inner yard is very charming and cozy, with orange tree. The staffwas very friendly and helpful, especially night watcher Abdul who helped us all the timewith useful tips&tricks in Marrakesh. Few days we had a few day trips and Abdul made us super early breakfast. Cozy, lovely and unforgettable stay at Dar Marhaba, would reccomend it to my friends. My family and I recently stayed at Dar Marhaba, and we were very pleased with property, staff, and location. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a traditional green tea with mint, which was a nice break after transiting to Marrakech. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and we felt safe during our stay. If I had to come up with some criticisms, I'd say the water pressure was marginally lacking and the pillows could have been a more comfortable. Otherwise, we enjoyed the room and adjacent terrace. The property was also surprisingly quiet, considering the proximity to and how loud Jamaa el Fna Square is. Speaking of, the Square is only a 3 minute walk, and there are, of course, plenty of souks nearby the property. Daily breakfast was included with our stay and it was plenty sufficient for our family. Consisting of egg, coffee, orange juice, and various breads, we always left satisfied. We did not take advantage of lunch or dinner at the property, but it is an option. The staff was exceedingly friendly, despite our language barrier. I don't speak French or Arabic, but we were able to make it work with Google Translate. I believe one or two of the gentlemen that work there speak English, so there's that. Otherwise, the hotel was good for what it is and what we paid. I would happily stay there again on a return trip to Marrakech.
Cons: as mentioned above, if I had to come up with a criticism, I’d say the bathroom was a bit lacking, the pillows were uncomfortable, and the pack’n play could have used a better pad for the babies.

the courtyard is very pretty and a calm place to relax, and the staff friendly. the shower was hot and the bathroom clean.
Cons: the room was a little tired, not as nice as the courtyard area. a bit dark. the map on booking.com doesn’t indicate the true location and it is near impossible to find without help!! for me, a 9am breakfast start is a bit late.

Excellent Location: Only a few minutes walking to the Jemaa Al Fnaa Square. Amazing Breakfast: Different breakfast options/menu everyday. Staff: Very friendly. Our plane landed 1.5 hours late after midnight. Despite that, we have been picked up by the staff member on our arrival from Koutoubia. Food: Moroccan/international restaurants are close by. Lots of options for food. Rooms: We booked 3 rooms, all were comfortable with Air-conditioning and additional heaters were present (we did not use the heaters, as the rooms were warm) Cleanliness: Very good. Bed sheets and towels were changed everyday and toiletries were replenished everyday.
Cons: Signages: It would be better to have more signages to show where the riad is, as sometimes it is rather confusing to find it. Small pond in the hall with 3 black/metallic ornaments. (Trip hazard for minors, I think they should be removed)

Beautiful place and nice people attending the Riad. We felt like at home 5 minutes after the check-in. I can't imagine a better place to stay if you want to visit Marrakesh.

The riad is a traditional one with a patio surrounded by high walls. A big orange tree in the middle of the patio. The staff and the owner are extremely kind and fun to talk with. Room is good with a big bathroom. In the patio there is a room used by the management for paper work. It has really good lighting, and you can also sit there with your laptop or write your diary or postcards if you still use such
Cons: If you arrive by car, you cannot get close to the riad in the medina, so better find a parking lot outside the area and take a taxi or walk to Place Jemaa el Fna. There a many young lads who are willing to find you a parking lot for your car and they demand a horrendous fee (100-200 drh) for doing that and showing you the way to Riad Dar Marhaba. Therefore leave your car outside the centre, take a taxi 20-30 drh, and walk across Jemaa el Fna to the farthest northeastern corner, from where everybody can show you the porch in street, Rue Dabachi where to get in (there is a sign for a Barber and a travel agency - if you arrived at a small square with restaurants you have passed the porch by 15 meters). Any other person will tell you to walk 75 m along Derb Dabach until there is a narrow, dark side lane on your left where you just have to look for no. 110. In the Medina the clue is to know the number - not names. The same if you arrive by taxi from the airport to Place Jemaa el Fna.

For anyone happy who, like me, likes or even thrives in the delightful chaos of the area around the central square, this Riad is perfectly located. It’s a short walk to all the central sights, such as palaces, museums, Hammams, souks, and the square itself. The property is very pleasant and clean, and the breakfasts are excellent (again, if you’re expecting a Moroccan breakfast, rather than a full cooked English breakfast or a continental breakfast buffet). Highly recommended.
Cons: Everything was good. Nothing that we didn’t like.

Perfect location, close to the main square but still very quiet. The staff was extremely nice and the room was nicely decorated. The breakfast was good, with moroccan pancakes, bread and different marmalades but not excellent.
Cons: The room was a bit dark but it is normal in a riad. The breakfast could be improved a bit (the orange juice was home-made but maybe not very fresh, the banana was black and very cold like just taken out of the fridge).
