In Summe uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert

Friendly staff who went out of their way to help us. The hotel was charming and the food excellent.
Cons: NO BAR ...Booking.com advertised that there was a bar. Had to take a taxis to have our 40th wedding anniversary meal. Another issue hotel does not take credit cards. As most restaurants in that area don't take cards either it makes eating in hotel didficult too. Leading to more taxis to restaura nts outside of medina.

Stepping in from the rough streets of the Medina, through the plain black wooden you enter what I can only describe as a dream. The riad is beautiful! It is enchanting extremely well presented and comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful and breakfast each day was different and delicious. A little Narnia away from the chaos and craziness of the centre of Marrakech.
Cons: The original description said there was a bar available, unfortunately this was not true and it was a long walk and taxi drive to anywhere that would serve a glass of wine with your meal. If this is important to you then maybe think of another hotel. Lack of facilities to use credit cards can also cause some issues.

The breakfast was delicious w fresh fruit, eggs, variety of bread & pastries, coffee & mint tea. We made a dinner reservation one night & enjoyed a wonderful home cooked Moroccan meal. The location is 5 minutes walking within the Medina wall so close to taxi access & the market area. The staff were friendly & helpful, and the riad decor warm & welcoming with a lovely roof deck.

Riad Dar Talah, nothing short of incredible. Immaculately clean, the sort you find from a 5-star hotel. The most amazing people and staff, I never got tired of ringing the doorbell and hearing Marhaba with a 5-star smile. We had the superior suite and they also did something very special for a very special occasion - this was extra and a punt to ask for, but they showed up in my hour of need. A lovely Riad with great space, it’s big. The food was absolutely delicious and a great atmosphere to dine in. We will be coming back here. I don’t often give reviews so it has to be a pretty remarkable experience to motivate me to do so. Thank you for the stay and I will see you again very soon. Oh and it’s in the best location at the top of the souk /medina so also really easy to get a taxi out wherever you need to but also a super short walk into the souk. Thank you again!

Absolutely wonderful riad in a great location for exploring the Medina. The building is very beautiful and thoughtfully and beautiful decorated in both the common areas and individual rooms. The staff are excellent - very warm, thoughtful, and helpful. And the breakfasts are superb. We were there for almost a week and were delighted by the diversity and quality of food presented each morning. They went out of their way for us, preparing food for us to take when we left in the early morning for a day trip and our flight home. This is a very special place and we highly recommend staying there.
Cons: Nothing!

I had an absolutely amazing stay in Marrakech. From the moment I arrived the staff were so warm and welcoming and it truly felt like a calm little oasis after the busy streets outside. My room was even better than the pictures, spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. I would also recommend having dinner at the riad at least once as it was some of the best food I had during my trip. Everything about my stay was lovely and I would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting Marrakech
Cons: Nothing :)

The staff working at the Riad were very, very kind and accommodating. Breakfast was brought out in the morning - wide choice, egg dish, breads, cheese, jams, orange juice, etc. The Riad itself was extremly beautiful, room was very spacious. There is a small pool downstairs and a lovely rooftop with seating space and lounge chairs. You are really inside the medina with this hotel - you cannot be dropped off right in front of the hotel by car, they will pick you up the first time to guide you (not very far). The room includes a safe, a few amenities (cotton buds, pads, hairdryer, shampoo, bodywash, handwash and lotion).
Cons: Everything was perfect and to our expectation. Some notes for others. For people to keep in mind - there is a safe in the room but the locks on our bedroom doors were not properly locking (it was not a problem for us as we didn't have any valuables). The only way to lock was from inside at night with the shutter. But the door to the hotel is always locked and closed - there is always someone inside the riad also. You will need Google maps unless you are used to the medina as the taxi cannot drop you off infront of the door - so you will need Google maps to help you find your way to the Riad on the day to day. (as mentioned the first time they came to pick us up and show us the way). We were never lost with google maps.

Hospitality was front and centre with nothing too much trouble. A serene and calming space to relax from the hustle and bustle of outside. Dinner felt like sharing in a family event although I personally would have liked a little more variety.
Cons: Strange smell in my double room. I think maybe from the air conditioning. Despite opening all the windows during the day it remained. Terrace felt tired and not to the same standard as the rest of the house

The Riad is beautiful, such a calm space in the middle of the Medina. Close enough to everything but far enough away so it’s still quiet at night time. The room was so beautiful and clean with loads of space for chilling out. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the rooftop because my partner is allergic to cats and that seemed to be their main space. The staff were all really sweet and looked after us while we were there, cooked amazing breakfast and dinner and were available to answer questions whenever we needed. 100% recommend this place!
Cons: Only negative was that we couldn’t use the rooftop because of the cat hair, but it wasn’t too much of a problem.

The Owner and her staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was nice to be greeted with Tea on arrival. This helped us relax after a difficult time parking and finding the accommodation. All staff offered great advice for navigating Marrakech that made our experience safe and enjoyable. The room was clean and spacious. Very quiet throughout the night so we had a great nights sleep. Would highly recommend due to the lovely environment inside the Riad.
Cons: There is no parking on site. Booking.com and the Riad website seem to make out that parking is at the accommodation. But there isn't any. However, there is parking close by and I would recommend that travellers find parking before they travel as the Sat Nav takes you down streets that are very tight and hazardous.

What I liked the most was the kindness of all the staff working there who made our stay just as perfect and very very comfortable from the beginning till the end, providing us with special breakfasts served in our room before the usual time, when for example we had to go for a tour to Essaouira booked through them at the Riad, or when we had to leave to go early in the morning to the airport the last day. In general I loved our big room and the breakfasts served outdoor in the backyard accompanied from the birds sound and ery genuinely prepared, and especially their terrace where with my boyfriend we hang out quite a lot, in the morning in the afternoon and in the evening, also to celebrate my forty birthday, chilling and petting their cute furry friend Alien (a cat) that was up there waiting to play with us and other customers who would like to do so. I really loved it there. If I'll go back to Marrakech I will definitely come back here in this wonderful place, or I will suggest it to friends and family. 😊❤️
Cons: There is absolutely nothing I didn't like. This riad was a oasis of peace and relax from the really crowded and sometimes overwhelming Medina.

We stayed 2 nights in this incredibly beautiful and welcoming and cozy riad. We were warmly welcomed by Raihana and her team with tea and explanations of the city. The team immediately arranged a local sim card for us. The dinner prepared by Raihana was delicious, even better than all restaurants we had lunch/ dinner at. We miss it! Everything we needed was available in the riad! When I forgot my shoes at check-out, they even called specially to tell me so I could come and pick them up. Thank you so much! This is a lovely Riad. I had a lovely large room. The rooms are arranged around a lovely courtyard. There are various places to sit, read and relax outside of the rooms. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: The one challenge is finding the place, given the street numbering system ... but I did not have my Google Maps working so maybe not an issue for others ... the key thing to know is that the street name refers to a whole warren of streets rather than one given street ... and the numbering is consecutive so once you find the street just follow the numbers, even though you will have many turns.

Beautiful property with lovely rooms, a great terrace that we had all to ourselves for the full weeks stay, a differing breakfast each morning all freshly made and friendly staff. We could roam around the riad as though it was our own home and it was very relaxed and hospitable. We really enjoyed our time there.
Cons: The location is well into the tiny streets of the medina, with no taxi access to the door. On arrival, after driving through the large and luxurious looking streets outside the median walls, my full family were panicking about having to brush through the crowds of people and food markets (fish / beef carcuss ) to get to the door of the riad, after the taxi dropped us off a few streets away. The streets outside the door of the riad aren’t filled will markets, more people hanging around their front doors which was daunting for the first few days, and especially at night time, but everyone was pleasant enough! My parents couldn’t leave the riad at all because they would have never found their way back - not the riads fault, but if I’d known, I would have probably booked a place on a Main Street so they felt more comfortable leaving alone for a wander. Aside from location, a small fridge in the room would be helpful to store our water as we used the big fridge in the kitchen frequently. You also don’t get a key to the front door of the riad - you have to ring the bell and wait for someone to let you in, which is fine when the hosts are around to do so. You have to plan with the host in advance if you are going out for the night, so they are prepared to let you in at 4am after the club / casino shuts, for instance.

The whole riad is simply amazing. Especially for the price range it’s in, it far surpasses the other riads (we stayed in 2 other ones in the same price range). Not only is the riad beautiful, the hygiene was on top and the care of the staff made this riad the best one that we’ve been. Fresh home cooked dinner and breakfast. Modern yet very Moroccan style design and equipped with all the things that you need. The quality of this riad is far above what you need to pay for it. Worth every cent.

The Riad is as beautiful as the pictures with a welcoming entrance, spacious rooms and a lovely rooftop area for relaxing at the warmer times of the day. The location is also fantastic as it’s right in the heart of the medina, surrounded by some more local markets, as well as being very close to the new town and jardin majorelle. As for the hospitality, we have never been made to feel more welcome on a trip before. It’s more like staying with friends than at a hotel! Special shout-out to Vicky, Raihana and Zakaria who were unbelievably helpful and welcoming, they made the trip so much nicer.
Cons: Nothing.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. First and foremost, the owner and staff are amazing and we‘d like to express our heartfelt thank you to Vicky, Raihana, Zakaria and Fatiha for making us feel at home and for helping us with all our questions and also booking us on two great trips. They also made sure we had breakfast before leaving for these trips, showed us good places to eat and to see and also made little things like checking that we leave on time for a tour etc. The Riad is a remarkably peaceful and tasteful place with great breakfast in a superb location (walking distance from all major sights in the Medina, but also close to Jardin Majorelle). We enjoyed Marrakech and would love to come back – and if we do, there is no other place to stay than this one!!

it’s charming. in the Medina but on the fringe, so not noisy at all, very tranquil in fact. the owner and her staff bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable. the service was exceptional. breakfast was lovely. Beautiful room, crisp cotton sheets, great absorbent towels. extra nice bathroom amenities.
Cons: i wish breakfast started earlier. it’s a wonderful breakfast but some of our excursions started earlier than 9am (breakfast starts at 8:30). But the staff always provided coffee, freshly squeezed juice and delicious bread if we had to leave early. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it.

if you are looking for a peaceful oasis to stay after a visit of the city, the Riad Dar Talah is the place to be. Vicki & Raihana will make you feel as if you are part of the family. The food is delicious (the best one we had in Marrakech), and the staff will help you navigate Marrakech 😉. it is a perfect location, walking distance from the Medina & the “Jardin Majorelle”

Outstanding hospitality - really a home away from home, and an oasis of tranquility in the midst of the Medina. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful; they helped us with all our special needs (and there were some...)

Wonderful stay, location, safety and staff/owner. Wish we could give the Riad 20 stars! Breakfast was delicious, the different options every day was a lovely touch as you got to try local delicacies. Highly recommend having dinner as well, it’s all homemade with a lot of love and care. Raihana, Zakaria & Fatiha will welcome you to the Riad and make sure you are looked after every day as will the lovely owner, Vicki! Warm and amazing people that truly care about their guests, honestly can’t say enough about the lengths they will go to ensure you re having the best time in Marrakesh! From shopping recommendations, to lovely chats and company. The room was spotless, absolutely beautiful hand picked decor and superb terrace to relax. Location is also excellent, well located around 20 mins walk to the Jam El Fnaa and 10 mins from souks, Pikala, Jardin Majorele, Gueliz. Most importantly, very safe at all hours of the day/night - feels like your own neighbourhood and family house after a day or two! We spent 5 nights here and we are already planning to go back asap as we made some friends for life! Thank you to all the amazing people at Riad Dar Talah for making this trip unforgettable, a la prochaine ❤️ CeCe & Tina

Amazing place to stay in Marrakesh. Raihana and Zakaria went above and beyond to welcome us and make us feel at home. They were super helpful, attentive, and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing each morning and the room was extremely comfortable.
Cons: Not the property’s fault in any way but it is a little far from the center of the action. Plan to walk 20-30 minutes to the main square and other sites.

Went for a trip to Marrakech. The Riad was so lovely. Raihana, Fatima and Zakaria were so welcoming and they felt like family. We had many good talks and told me what is worth to see. Even Vicky, the owner is so nice and kind. No request was too much. Breakfast was nice. The rooms are clean and spacious.

The Riad is beautifully equipped with high quality materials. The rooms are as indicated on the pictures. It is in a safe neighbourhood right next to the old town which makes it a great starting point to explore Marrakech by foot. We stayed in this Riad for 3 nights, went to a Sahara trip (we could leave our luggage in the Riad) and then stayed in the same Riad for another night. The hosts Rihana and Zakaria go above and beyond to make sure we enjoy our trip as much as possible. They welcome you with nice mint tea, prepare delicious and fresh breakfast and also dinner with love, have great recommendations for Hammam when it rains, provide early breakfast if you leave early and stay up late when you return late from the desert. They are really the sweetest hosts and we totally recommend this place (we rate 10+ if we could!).

A very beautiful quiet Riad in the heart of the Medina, within walking distance of the Jardin Marjorelle and easy walking from nearby parking. Our room was huge and just gorgeous, we loved our stunning bathroom too! Very friendly and helpful staff - we needed an early checkout and a simple breakfast was brought to our door - highly recommend!

beautiful riad, very nicely decorated. staff extremely nice. clean and spacious room.
Cons: the bed is too short. certainly not a 200cm bed. I have to lie at an angle, otherwise my feet would hang out of the bed. the riad is located in a residential area where you cannot come by car. short walk. I had too much luggage to carry it all on my own. otherwise it is really beautiful, calm and quiet. slept wonderfully

The most gorgeous Riad once you are inside! it is massive and you have lots of space to lounge around the property. cleaning is impeccable! the host Rihanna is lovely and very helpful. you genuinely feel like you are being looked after by family. Even gave us extra mint tea, lots of tips and tricks for Marrakech. not to forget the absolutely delicious large breakfast. the staff is very happy to help and always on their feet to serve you. we stayed in 4 riads over 10 days in Morocco and this one is clearly the winner. Absolutely gorgeous!

Riad was very nice and comfortable. Riahana and her staff were available and considerate. they assisted us for both the internet card and the hammam.
Cons: the location is in a very popular zone and you are approached by kids insistently looking for money. is not easy pay by card.

Excellent location, we loved the traditional Moroccan deco with a chic vibe. Lovely helpful staff. 100% recommended by us, would love to visit again.
Cons: One of the nights cold water in the shower, would be nice if there was some slippers and robes. No safe deposit box for passport safe keeping etc or fridge.

Beautiful Riad, very comfortable, clean and the room as well as the bathroom was spacious. We had a feeling of full privacy during our stay as there were barely other guests there. The staff was very welcoming and considerate. For Breakfast we had nice moroccan food.
Cons: the riad is located in a quite non-touristic area and to reach the city center you have to walk 20 minutes

What an amazing place! It was charming, beautiful, comfortable, and the staff and owner were simply perfect! We did not feel like we were staying in accommodation, but rather visiting old friends.
