Leuke kamers.

The Riad was beautiful, the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. On our arrival we were invited to sit with the owner to have a traditional mint tea and to talk about how to get around and the good places to visit. Breakfast was always good and well presented.

Cons: Smoking was allowed in the balcony area near to a skylight so should have aired ok, but when people were smoking it pervaded through the whole main area. Luckily this wasn't too much of a problem for us since it was really only in the last couple of days when there was a new group of clients who smoked a lot, which we found difficult. Finding the Riad to return to after our first outing was 'interesting', but we learned the route quickly.

it was a wonderful stay. I have to admit that i wasn't expecting Morocco to be cool weather wise which made the Riad cool too. The staff , Otmane and Mohammed , couldn't have been more helpful and the breakfasts were just wonderful. it's a beautiful Riad with an easy walk to all the sites..

From the moment you walk into the riad zanouba it has a wonderful calm safe feeling about it,mohamed met me outside from the taxi and even walked out with my bag the day I left.the whole team make you feel very welcome and like family. This is nestled 11 minutes walk away from tinsmiths square and the zanouba is tucked away in a very quiet section of the town.the food is 10/10 as is the breakfast again all freshly prepared. Do not hesitate to book here you will not be Disappointed. Mohamed and team thank you for welcoming me

It was my first experience staying at a riad, and it couldn’t have been better. It’s a 10–15 minute walk to the busy part of the Medina, yet tucked away on a quiet side street. The air conditioner worked well—I needed the heating rather than the cooling since it was November and cold at night. The shower was nice and hot, and everything was clean.

Cons: I do not recommend this riad. Our stay was far from what we expected. The photos on Booking are completely misleading — the place looks nothing like the pictures, and we even thought we had arrived at the wrong riad. The rooms have no exterior windows, there was constant noise during the night, and at one point it was actually raining inside. The staff was unwelcoming and unhelpful. They offered no information, were difficult to find at any moment, and showed no interest in assisting us. We paid for breakfast, yet we never received it. Even though they told us to request an early breakfast one day in advance, when we did, we were abruptly told that “the boss doesn’t allow breakfast before 8 AM.” This riad was the only negative part of our trip — everything else in Marrakech was amazing. Unfortunately, the accommodation did not meet even basic expectations

The location was ok, you would get to the main square by foot in 7 to 10 minutes. The "boss'' was responsive and nice, but with the receptionist it was hard to get along, as his language skills were not the best. Yet he tried.

Cons: The place was extremely noisy. I stayed for two nights, and the first one was unbearable. The receptionist was talking loudly on the phone, the rain was falling into the interior courtyard and sounded like a running shower hitting the floor, and the walls were so thin that I could hear everything from the room above. As if that wasn’t enough, after midnight they started setting up the tables for breakfast, moving chairs and furniture and creating even more noise. On the second night, at 5 a.m., they started preparing the breakfast area again, making the same loud noises. I recommend choosing a room on the first floor, because on the ground floor every sound feels like it’s happening inside your own room.

The property is in a quiet area away from the Medina, however walking back at night for the 10 minutes although safe was worrying, I did not have any incidents. The staff were very friendly and will sometimes accompany me to the spot where I could get a taxi. There are plenty of taxis in the area. Breakfast was good. Room was cleaned daily.

Cons: The taxis don’t get right up to the front door because of the narrow streets leading up to the Riad.

The staff at the riad provided excellent service. Omar was always willing to help with my requests and guide me around the city. Although the room is small, it is comfortable for a couple of days. The breakfast is outstanding, with many options, and it is definitely the highlight of the stay. The riad is well located, about a 15-minute walk from the main square where all the activity takes place, and close to several shops and places to find basic travel essentials. While the area may look a bit rough at first, it is safe and easy to reach by following the directions. Overall, a great experience.

The bestest stay I’ve had in Marrakech (considering Riads) mostly because of the hospitality of the crew, made even better by the proximity of the house to all your essentials and tourist sites. They also offer tours, and arrange your every need. From the obvious ones to the ones you don’t even have to say. My heart is grateful for Simo (Mohammed) for personally looking after me during my stay. Trust me, this Riad isn’t just a garden house; it’s a home. 🥰🤍

The room was quite cosy and clean, even a small fridge in the room. Personal polite

Cons: The location. No entrance to the roof. No water in the pool, the given explanation was that if they put water, the birds will make it dirty. Quite strange. A couple of things in the common space of the hotel were extremely old and needed to be repared or replaced. Like one chair. The last meters of the road to the entrance door of the hotel were very very dirty, just some rubbish from the neighbors maybe, but it ruined the whole impression, they just didn't care to clean next to their entrance door the whole day long. The hotel inside is smaller as it looks on pictures in booking. For the same money I could find a better place with a rooftop at least. I would not book there again.

Riad is a little away from the ‘big square’ but easily enough to get too. Bahia palace is nearby. Riad is down a little alleyway which at first made me nervous as a solo female traveller but lots of riads are located like this and I felt perfectly safe.

Breakfast was a dream. They brought out a basket of warm msemen and harcha, flaky and buttery, perfect with the homemade fig jam and honey. I sipped on freshly squeezed orange juice, probably the best I’ve had, and a hot glass of mint tea, so sweet and fragrant it felt like a ritual. For dinner, I went all in on a chicken tagine with preserved lemons and olives. The chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender, the sauce rich and tangy, perfect for dipping the crusty Moroccan bread. I couldn’t resist ordering a side of Zaalouk, a smoky eggplant and tomato dish, full of deep, roasted flavors.

Staying here in Marrakech was an absolutely perfect experience! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the night market and city center, making everything super convenient. The service here is even better than that of a five-star hotel, and the host is incredibly kind and welcoming. On our first day, we were treated to authentic local cuisine prepared by the host, which was such a wonderful introduction to Moroccan culture. The hotel also offers affordable airport pick-up and drop-off services. The daily complimentary breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety. We wanted to go on a road trip, and the host went above and beyond to help us find the perfect car, which made our journey so much easier. Thanks to the host, everything about our stay was seamless and enjoyable. If I visit Marrakech again, I’ll definitely stay here! Highly recommend this place to everyone!

Wonderful staff—super nice and helpful. Breakfast was quite nice as well. The Riad was well-maintained, with a cute charm. The hotel is located around a 10-minute walk from the Bahia Palace entrance, in an authentic and quiet part of the old town.

Cons: Since the Riad is old, you can easily hear other guests walking in the hallway or having breakfast. This didn’t bother us at all since others were pretty quiet. I believe this is common in all authentic Riads.

very good option for Marrakesh, worth its money. The location is not far of best tourist attractions (but it's a bit hard to find, try to have the instructions from the riad personel before your arriving). Nice patio and fresh design. Good breakfast. Attentitive and informative riad staff.

Cons: the construction of the riad means that you can hear everything that happens inside of it. We were awaken a few times by the guests who had early check out (and I cannot say they were especially loud or something). What was more uncomfortable for us is that some guests smoked inside the riad -- we felt it all, though the receptionist told us later it is not allowed in the hotel. Anyway, I would not recommend this riad for those with sensitive sleep and who do not stand cigarettes smell.

The hosts were great and reacted quickly to any requests. The breakfasts were really good and we ate a couple of times too and the meals they prepared were delicious. It is spotlessly clean.

Cons: The Riad is a little out of the way and about a 15-20 minute walk to the main square. Our room was on the ground floor and opened up to the area where people ate breakfast, not much of a problem but not something I really like either.

Mohammed and the ladies who prepped breakfast made Riad Zanouba feel like home! We enjoyed our stay, Mohammed always had helpful tips and advices and made us feel safe and cared for every moment. The location is convenient you can get to most of the old city within walking distance. The rooms are very comfortable and cleaned well. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, althought could do with a bit of fruit! What makes this an exceptional place to stay is the team running it, their warmth, hospitality and positive attitude made this one of the best places we have ever stayed in!

The staff, particularly Mohammed, exhibited exceptional kindness and went the extra mile to assist us. The services provided were outstanding, with the dinner being particularly delightful. The riad itself is charming, and despite our room being somewhat petite, it exuded a cute charm. The location is excellent, being in close proximity to the medina yet strategically positioned away from the hustle and bustle, ensuring a peaceful stay without being disturbed by noise or crowds.

Cons: The room is small, a little dark, and slightly chilly, typical of a Moroccan riad. Fortunately, we were provided with cozy blankets that kept us warm. The lack of soundproofing in the rooms made it challenging for a light sleeper like myself, as noises from neighboring rooms were audible. However, considering the authentic nature of a traditional riad, it's not uncommon for the doors not to provide complete isolation. The bed, although firm, surprisingly offered a comfortable night's sleep, aligning with the local standard in Morocco.

Riad Zanouba has surprised us. A friend of mine has recommend Zanouba. It´s like an oasis in the middle of the caos. Not only the place, clean and welcoming, but also the staff, who has helped us every time we need it: polite and helpful (+++). Confortable bed, clean room, clean common spaces, a delicious breakfast... it made our Riad Stay pleasant and confortable. The only improvable (but impossible of improve) topic is the location, just a little away from Yamaa el Fna.., but it´s as well a good oportunity to enjoy walking thorugh the Marrakech streets (only 5 minutes away from the center by taking a TucTuc!)

Staff were really great; room was cleaned daily. The riad is located in a quiet area with many cute stray cats. Other than the daily call to prayer from the mosque, it’s a quiet and peaceful place

Cons: The bed was too hard, and the 2 pillows offered were either too soft or too hard. This isn’t the fault of the riad, but every morning at around 5 or 5:30 you will be awoken by the mosques (much too loud) call to prayer

Said and Mohammed were fantastic staff who went above and beyond. They do a brilliant job with slightly limited resources.

Cons: Only 24 hours before our departure, the hotel manager told us we would need to pay in cash. Very often, the hotel's card-payment machine fails to connect to the internet. Guests should be aware that they may need to pay everything in cash.

Very good place to stay - in a quiet, seemingly residential road but only a very short walk from Badi Palace and also near Bahia Palace. All the other major sights are easily walkable too. The attentiveness and kindness of Adnane made a huge difference - airport taxis organised, local advice given, and a delicious dinner on arrival and fine breakfast. (The food in the riad is really good - and inexpensive!) Riad itself is pretty and comfortable - room was great. Would recommend and would revisit.

The breakfast they prepared was fresh and tasted great. I loved that they had variation each morning. The staff made this experience extra special, they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The room was bigger than many places we stayed, and the wifi worked very well. It was nice to stay a little further from the busy streets, and walking through the more local neighborhoods. They made sure we had everything we needed even going to our next destination, which was very kind. Thanks everyone for a great experience.

All fine, friendly personnel, reliable, etc. Good place. I recommend.

Cons: Coffee could be better, but you can go to café brrima if you want a real coffee. They only can arrange big taxi's, no petit taxi's. If you're alone, a big taxi is a bit expensive. It cannot be that hard for this Riad to find a dependable petit taxi for their customers. Note: these 2 things are no big deal, just small remarks.

He also helped us get a cab at a price we won’t be able to get ourselves. overall they are accommodating and easy to talk to.

Well service minded stuff, Nice and helpful. Clean rooms, comfortable beds with nice lighting, mixed with Andalusian design in minimalistic way. You think yourself away from the city center crawdness, while you are 10 to 15 max walking through the souk,so it's calm and peaceful Riad. I've got to stay over my chack out time after getting to know my flight delayed and that doesn't buzzers the stuff yet they welcomed me with tea and coffee 🙏🏾

Cons: I liked the breakfast but my expectations was something else. Could be a bit more balanced between salt and sweet yet an apple can make a difference.

It is a great place for a Marrakesh holiday. it’s great located but not in the loud and busy center. you get there within a short walk in a lovely neighborhood with very nice people. The breakfast, the bed and shower, especially the soap were very good. Mohammed the host fulfills all your wishes and needs with a smile in his face, also the rest of the Riad crew were super friendly and helpful. For me it was the perfect place to stay in Marrakesh.

Cons: Ask Mohammed about the way to arrive. There are 2 Riad Zanouba in Marrakesh and for the first time it’s tricky to find your way.

Ismail is one of the best hosts I've met on my travels. He gave a lot of useful tips and fulfilled all my requests. I had to wait late in the night almost 4 hours in the airport customs queue and Ismail made sure that I get the requested transfer to the riad. A dinner was great. Everything was very clean. Even local cats were especially beautiful. Getting from the riad to the main square is an unforgettable experience. On the first day I felt overwhelmed navigating through a maze of crowded narrow streets full of determined sellers and people on scooters. However, later I got used to it and started to enjoy walking there.

Cons: It was a little cold in the room (it's December), although one can try to turn on the AC heating. It would be also great to have more diverse breakfasts. They are tasty but get repetitive.
