Alles was in orde: de kamers waren proper, het personeel heel vriendelijk en de locatie was top. Heel mooie Riad met ook een heerlijk ontbijt iedere ochtend. Onze heenvlucht had drie uur vertraging waardoor we plots in het midden van de nacht aankwamen, dit was echter geen probleem.

Highly recommend! A lovely stay in a perfect location, with genuinely kind and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Nothing major, but a few small additions would make the stay even better. It would be nice to have slippers provided in the room. We would also appreciate a “Do Not Disturb” or “No Room Cleaning Needed” sign, so guests can easily opt out of daily housekeeping when they prefer.

Riad davvero carino e accogliente. Staff gentile e disponibile, camere belle e confortevoli. La Medina si raggiunge in circa 15 minuti a piedi. Abbiamo anche pranzato al Riad con un prezzo conveniente e cibo davvero ottimo. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati molto bene e lo consiglio!😊

Il personale è stato gentilissimo con noi dal primo giorno, uno dei ragazzi che ci ha accolto ci ha dato una mappa e ci ha mostrato i luoghi di interesse della città, ristoranti e zone da visitare. La stanza era molto carina, tutti i giorni venivano a pulircela in maniera minuziosa. Infine, ci tengo a dire che ho adorato la colazione marocchina che ci veniva offerta ogni mattina, buonissima veramente, è stato un peccato non poterla fare all’aperto.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und hatte eine schöne Größe. Die Austattung des Zimmers hat uns gut gefallen!

Cons: Unser Zimmer lag im Erdgeschoss direkt am Eingang, wo auch die Treppe nach oben führt. Da die Türen nicht sehr schalldicht sind, hat man abends und nachts die Gäste, die zu ihren Zimmern gingen, deutlich gehört. Da wir nur eine Nacht dort waren hat uns das nicht gehört, wären es 3 Nächte gewesen, wäre es nicht so toll.

Nice riad style hotel in the Medina of Marrakech. A bit out of the Jemaa el-Fnaa square which was actually good as there were not so much people around. A bit out of the main street also that made it a bit quiter. The Medina of Marrakech is very noisy due to cars and motorbikes, but in this riad it was nice. Good local breakfast, clean rooms, nice personnel that will help you easily with any question. When we ordered a local daily trip (to Ouzoud, Atlas Mountains, etc.), the breakfast was ready earlier so we can be in time.

Cons: The rooms are a bit small, but we get used to it after a couple of nights. Not enough natural light in the rooms and opening internal windows doesn't help much as it's very hot in Marrakech in June and the rooftop of the internal yard is always closed.

Lokalizacja tuż przy medinie (tj. wejście na souk to uliczka wychodząca z placu przy którym także uliczka z hotelem, tj. maks. 2 minuty spacerem i wchodzi się do medyny) i blisko ogrodów Majorelle (ok. 15 min spacerem). Śniadanie serwowane złożone z lokalnych produktów (głównie różne rodzaje lokalnego pieczywa, miód, dżem, serek topiony, kawa, herbata, świeżo wyciskany sok). Pokoje wokół dziedzińca (typowe dla hoteli w centrach starych miast w Maroko) zatem może ktoś słyszeć innych gości - nam to w ogóle nie przeszkadzało, było cicho. Zamówiliśmy transport z/na lotnisko (cena jak w mieście) - warto, szczególnie z lotniska aby nie szukać wejścia do obiektu. Przechowano nam też bez problemu przez kilka dni bagaże. Bardzo sympatyczny personel. Czysto. Łazienka w pokoju bardzo dobra; klimatyzacja sprawnie działała. Na dachu taras, gdzie też są serwowane posiłki; my akurat tego nie zauważyliśmy i jedliśmy na patio na parterze. Wi-fi sprawne.

La posizione è comoda per visitare i souk e i palazzi della Medina (10 minuti a piedi per i primi souk e per addentrarsi nel centro dell'area di interesse). O Riad é muito giro e o staff foi todo simpático. O pequeno almoço era muito saboroso e com as opções marroquinas habituais. O quarto era equipado com AC e a casa de banho estava bem mantida. A decoração era simples mas bonita.

Cons: O barulho nos quartos do piso 0 era incomodativo. Durante a noite ouvia se todas as conversas das pessoas na zona comum e todo e qualquer barulho das pessoas a subirem e descerem escadas, a entrar e a sair do Riad... Os quartos precisam de insonorização. Os armários dentro do quarto standard não eram úteis de todo. O quarto era mais pequeno do que nas fotos mostrava.

Cons: Only window in the room goes directly onto the walkway of the public floor from the bedroom. Unfortunately room was very dark and when this single window was opened it let in all the noise from the hotel courtyard starting from 7 am impossible to sleep. Also the bathroom really needed an update. There is no safebox in the room and no lock on the hotel room door. The lock provided is a padlock like the one used on a locker or mailbox. Unfortunately this is not a 4 star hotel service, although the staff are all very kind and helpful.

The staff at this riad were exceptional!! We arrived at the riad after our desert tour and were exhausted from a full day of travel, the staff as soon as we walked in organised our room immediately and told us to relax before we completed the check in process. The location is literally perfect and couldn’t be closer to the souks and everything you need is in walking distance. The rooms were very comfy and very clean. Highly recommend staying at this riad

Cons: Even though the location was super convenient since it was only a couple of minutes away from Medina, the surrounding environment wasn’t pleasant… you have to go though a small allay to find the place which for some people may seem dirty and even dangerous (we experienced no threats or dangers - talking about the impression it was giving). The Riad itself was clean but it certainly needs some better maintenance.

Struttura tenuta molto bene, pulita e ordinata. Servizio pulizia in camera quotidiano e cambio asciugamani dopo due notti. Colazione completa e deliziosa, staff cordiale e super disponibile. Posizione abbastanza comoda, a ~15min dalla piazza centrale. La zona limitrofa è trafficata ma l’accesso al riad si trova in una stradina interna, e il rumore del traffico non si sente una volta dentro la struttura.

Cons: L’unica pecca è l’insonorizzazione della finestra affacciata sul cortile interno del riad: ogni mattina siamo stati svegliati sia dal richiamo alla preghiera sia da un uccellino annidatosi nel cortile

Das Riad liegt sehr gut. Man kann gut zu Fuß in die Souks laufen. Es besteht aus einem Hauptbaus und einem Nebenhaus. Das Frühstück ist typisch marokkanisch und sehr lecker. Es ist super nett eingerichtet und alle geben sich nett.

Cons: Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Nebenhaus und direkt im Erdgeschoss. Es war sehr laut. Personal welches neben uns einen Aufenthaltsraum hatte, andere Gäste, Straße und Bauarbeiten. Das Bett ist wirklich sehr sehr hart. Uns einfach zu hart. Das Zimmer ist sehr feucht und man bekommt die Feuchtigkeit auch kaum aus dem Zimmer. Es gibt kein Fenster und die Klima funktioniert nicht richtig.

Clean and comfortable. Mint tea when we arrived, served in our room. Shower was great, lots of hot water and bathroom modern and very clean. Toiletries complimentary. The manager lent us his plug adapter as we had the wrong one, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. We checked out at 12md and were able to sit on the sun terrace until we left for airport. Such a beautiful place to sunbathe on comfortable beds. We changed in the downstairs bathroom which was great! Very close to the taxi depo and souks.

Cons: Its a bit noisy as the doors do not seal as its a traditional Riad. I slept well once we knew everyone was settled after 12 as the main doors are locked then. There is no safety deposit box or kettle etc which would be handy!

The room was comfortable and clean, and it offered all the amenities as described. Everything was exactly as advertised, which made our stay very pleasant. The breakfast was traditional Moroccan, fresh and delicious, giving us a lovely taste of the local culture. The location was very convenient, close to the main points of interest in the center of the Medina, making it easy to explore the area on foot. Overall, it was definitely great value for money. Ottima posizione, alle porte del suk, con diversi ristoranti nelle vicinanze senza dover arrivare fino alla piazza principale o rientrare nel suk, che di notte diventa molto buio. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile: quando si è rotta la pompa di calore ci hanno fornito subito una stufetta elettrica senza che dovessimo chiederlo. Abbiamo provato hammam e massaggio: per me era la prima esperienza di hammam, quindi non saprei valutarlo, mentre il massaggio è stato molto piacevole. Soggiorno positivo, consigliato.

We had an airport collection arranged by the riad and were met at a drop off point by a member of the riad team. It was only a very short walk to the riad and we were given a very warm welcome. We had a superior double room and standard room - both were simply but beautifully decorated and very clean. Breakfast was simple but delicious and we enjoyed eating on the roof terrace. Good location with easy access to the souk's. We also went on an excellent trip also arranged by the riad. A fab stay, thanks so much

We LOVED our stay here. The Riad arranged a taxi for us from the airport which was so easy, and I'd hugely recommend this as it means you don't have to worry about cash in the airport. Someone met us from the taxi and walked up back to the Riad. Our room was ready when we arrived. The location was perfect, right near the markets and walking distance to all the tourist areas. The breakfast was lovely, and so well served every morning. It was quick and easy, they even helped us arrange a taxi on the way back to the airport even when we didn't give them enough time! There is staff working overnight too which helped us feel safe. We loved it here!!

We loved the breakfast and stuff were very friendly and helpful at all times, even when our flight was delayed by 2 hours, the transfer was still there for us and the hotel checked us in despite it being very late.

The breakfast was excellent. An egg omelette with a variety of breads and spreads were offered along with some fresh mint tea and coffee. The orange juice was excellent as well. The room was small, but met all my needs. The water was warm and they had a very good hairdryer. The hospitality of the front desk was very good as well. Very kind.

Lovely decor and the staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Nothing was too much hassle for them and they made it very easy for us. Location was great, just north of the souks but still close enough to everything. We managed to get to everywhere we wanted to be within 25 min walk of the Riad. The included breakfast was a really nice addition and great to eat that on the roof and enjoy the morning sun.

Cons: The property could have been a little cleaner. The rooftop was dirty as were lots of the tables downstairs too. Our room was clean though and always made up nicely when we returned each day. We booked an excursion through the property but feel like not enough information was included for us to be prepared properly. Id suggest providing more information about the excursions in the leaflet to be a little more helpful.

The riad was in an amazing location and we always felt safe coming and going no matter the time. Our room was very lovely and comfortable and breakfast was nice. It was a lovely stay bar the few small thinks but I would recommend.

Cons: The rooms aren’t able to be locked from the inside which didn’t bother us but could for some. The staff seemed cold at times and were unfortunately not very welcoming, it often felt awkward and like we were intruding. The walls are very thin and if you are a light sleeper this wouldn’t be ideal. The water pressure in the shower is very bad and often wouldn’t work for the first few tries

I would like to highlight how incredibly helpful the staff were. They responded to all the messages we sent and the requests we made!! Communication with them was excellent at all times. They were quick at organizing things for us. The accommodation was lovely, clean and calm. The rooms were kept cool so despite the heat, it was no problem for sleeping. We rested very nicely after long days walking in the city. The breakfast was delicious. I will definitely stay here again, if I ever visit Marrakesh again. Location is great, walking distance to the Medina.

The riad was in a good, central location and easy to reach by taxi. However, in order to get to the riad, you had to walk through some dirty and dark alleys. The staff were polite and helpful.

Cons: The breakfast was very poor. The shower and the bathroom in general were rusty and moldy. The value for money was not good — we paid much more than it was worth. The hammam felt like it was full of mold.Additionally, there was no proper lock on the door, only a latch. We had to ask for a padlock so we could lock it when we left. There was also a lot of noise from the neighboring rooms, as there was no soundproofing at all.

We absolutely loved the Riad, it is very welcoming and comfortable. Staff went out of the way to make sure we had what we needed. The room had a good size and was comfortable, everything is very clean, there are plenty of food and tourism options at walking distance from the riad and they offer a variety of services to make your life easier

Cons: Location is a bit odd in a back street, but there is nothing truly wrong with it Breakfast is served a bit late if you're going on a tour (staff was kind enough to provide a cold breakfast to go) The bathroom also gets a bit too wet because there is no shoer curtain or something to hold water in

Riad in una posizione perfetta. Molto centrale ma in una vietta tranquilla. Ottimo anche per i Tour perché ti vengono a prendere proprio nella piazzetta adiacente. Buona la colazione e lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile. La camera era piccolina e l'unica finestra dava sul cortile. Unica pecca: il bagno si allaga quando fai la doccia perché la doccia è aperta ma basta fare un po' di attenzione. Nel complesso lo consiglio, ottimo per 3 giorni a Marrakech.

We loved the decor and location. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast even had fruit. We didn’t have time to take advantage of the spa component, but there was information in our room. Somehow, you didn’t hear any noise from the busy nearby street, but it was only two blocks away. We would stay here again!

The breakfast was great! The best part was having it up on the rooftop. Missed some eggs though, but otherwise perfect! The staff was the highlight of our stay, they made us feel right at home. The location is absolutely perfect, with everything you want to see of Marrakech within walking distance.

Cons: Only point of improvement would be the mattress which was a bit hard.

Cons: Beaucoup de bruit dans le riad.. Nous avions séjourner les jours d'avant dans un autre riad donc nous avons pu comparer. Nous avons dormi qune nuit dans celui ci, au rdc, on entend les cuisines et le personnel jusqu'à 23h. J'ai pu constater également que les tables du petit déjeuner était dressé pr le matin au milieu du riad au rdc , donc pas top vu que tu as la chambre au rdc.. Nous avons dîner en terrasse, où j'ai trouvé également que nous étions plus incommoder par le bruit extérieur par rapport à notre 1ere location..

A special shoutout to Ahmed, Zakaria and Jamal. They made our stay so welcoming and even better. They were amazing hosts and offered any information they had. The rooms were so clean and the whole entire place smelt amazing, to the point we had to ask them what they use because it was that good!! We had an amazing stay at Riad Babouchta. Although it is located in the center of Marrakech, the riad was very peaceful and a good place to escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Er zat afwisseling in het ontbijt, wat fijn was! Verder werd de kamer elke dag schoongemaak, en was het personeel super gastvrij en hielpen ze je graag met van alles!

Abbiamo soggiornato al Riad Baboucha e ci siamo trovati bene. La struttura è molto bella e accogliente, situata appena fuori dal cuore della medina, quindi in una zona tranquilla ma comunque comoda per raggiungere le principali attrazioni. Le camere sono pulite e arredate con gusto. Colazione marocchina ricca e ottima. Unico aspetto un po’ scomodo è che non sempre si trova qualcuno alla reception.

Cons: Non ho apprezzato il modo in cui il proprietario ci ha rimproverati per un piccolo ritardo di 15 minuti sul transfer per il ritorno all’aeroporto: eravamo in torto (avevamo sbagliato una strada di ritorno dalla medina), ma si poteva gestire con più cortesia, sicuramente non è stato il personale più gentile tra tutti i riad in cui abbiamo soggiornato in Marocco. Nel complesso, però, un buon soggiorno in un riad curato e in posizione ideale per visitare Marrakech.

Cons: In het tweede gebouw was geen 24/7 receptie en was beide nachten van ons verblijf erg rumoerig door andere gasten. Het zou fijn zijn als er een bord zou hangen om gasten te wijzen op het geluidsniveau.

Cons: Everything’s quite worn down and it doesn’t look as nice as in the pictures. The spa looks more like a storage room, we cancelled our booking last minute when we saw it. We didn’t get a proper check-in with information on breakfast etc.

Het is een eerder kleine riad die zeer goed gelegen is: heel centraal zodat je overal snel bij bent, maar toch weg van het lawaai van de stad en de drukte zodat het er heel rustig is. Het personeel is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam met echt ALLES! Ik boekte een deugddoende massage die werd gegeven door een hele vriendelijke dame. De kamer was goed en goed onderhouden, prima voor ons gezin.

Cons: Jammer dat onze douche stuk was waardoor we enkel de handdouche konden gebruiken.

Buenas ubicación: en la Medina pero con posibilidad de llegar en coche casi a la puerta. Desayuno muy correcto. Personal muy atento y siempre dispuesto a resolver tus necesidades.

Cons: Quizás poco indicado el callejón de acceso pero la posibilidad de contratar el Transfer desde el aeropuerto facilita la localización de la entrada
