The pool, pool bar, service, location, setting, room, hammam, spa service.
Cons: It wasn’t easy to arrange/change the pre-booked shuttle collection from the centre of Marrakesh which was disappointing. It wasn’t easy to get a drink served at the pool bar. Food was on the pricier side. I knew this before I booked though.

The hotel was wonderful - the staff are lovely and so attentive. Breakfast was amazing and the lunch and dinner were also fantastic. I had a massage which was the best I have ever had anywhere. The staff organised wonderful trips and nothing was too much trouble.

The property is very beautiful and clean.
Cons: The pillows were terrible, way too high and made cheaply with foam. I asked for a different, more comfortable pillow, and they said that they didn't have any. For that price - ridiculous! Service in general was lacking, several times orders at the bar/restaurant were forgotten, and while friendly the staff seemed badly trained.

Beautiful, relaxing, peaceful and special. The surroundings were lovely, staff were helpful and friendly. Food and wine was delicious. The fabrics, decor, and finish were outstanding.
Cons: It was difficult not to like anything. The room type was slightly misleading when booking on booking.com. We booked with a sofa bed, but it was an additional cost at the hotel per night when we arrived.

Es un sitio del que no quieres salir, aunque esté a 30 minutos del centro merece la pena conocerlo tanto con pareja, amigos o familia. La decoración y el servicio es excelente.
Cons: Por poner algo negativo, diría la distancia no obstante como sabes a lo que vas tampoco supone un problema y el hecho de estar tan alejado lo hace más especial y único ya que es como estar en un oasis en medio de la nada.

Väldigt fina och välplanerade rum med sköna sängar. Hela området är välskött och väldigt genomtänkt med fina detaljer och inredning rakt igenom. Fantastisk god frukost med variation av salt och sött. Främst av allt otroligt fin service från all personal som fanns tillgängliga runt och alla som jobbar där är så trevliga och tillmötesgående.
Cons: Hotellet ligger en bit från stan och det blev rätt dyrt att ta sig med taxi. Va mer barnfamiljer med småbarn än väntat, men i det stora hela va stämningen lugn.

The staff were incredibly friendly, even though we checked in well past midnight. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, offering a great variety of dishes. I loved the resort’s design — authentic and traditional with a luxurious touch. We also tried the hammam spa — highly recommended! Be mindful it’s a 30min drive from the madina!
Cons: I had requested the complimentary honeymoon setup but unfortunately it wasn’t prepared to surprise my wife. I was told that the hotel never received the request from Booking.com, which was quite surprising, as all the other hotels I booked through Booking.com during our honeymoon had no issue arranging it.

I loved it here so much I have to say, this place is a dream. It’s a work of art, truly. It’s about 25 minutes from the airport, so it's not too far, but it's a remote location. When we arrived, it was summertime so it was not very busy. But overall, it’s quiet and serene. There is so much space to walk around and it’s a relaxing atmosphere. The staff welcomed us when we arrived. Reception is a nice, calming space with lots of light. It’s very authentically Moroccan. The floors and walls have a beautiful finish. It really does feel magical. It’s all around. The bed is beautiful. The bathroom is spacious. The rooms are very spacious too. We had a terrace overlooking the garden where we enjoyed tea occasionally. It feels somewhat private too. The pool is nice, comfortable to swim in. Quite a big pool too. We had breakfast by the pool in the morning which we enjoyed. The waiters are so kind and thoughtful. All the people we came in contact with who work at the property are so kind, considerate and helpful. The food was delicious of course. A selection of Moroccan and Spanish choices, and much more. Loved the gazpacho! It’s difficult to choose which meal I enjoyed the most to be honest. So much care and attention. We had dinner near the pool that was prepared for us which was so nice. There’s the indoor restaurant too. There’s so much more I enjoyed too. There’s a library where you can get books and just chill. There’s also a cosy living space. There are outdoor baths too. I just felt very at home and sort of like nowhere else I’ve stayed before. Felt like a dream, but it was real. I loved the hammam! You can’t go wrong with a hammam. Walking around the gardens, day and night.
Cons: I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like. Honestly. If you’re planning on doing excursions, bear in mind people take holiday during July and August in Marrakech so some things might not be available.

Me parece el lugar perfecto para descansar y conectar con la naturaleza , ya que es un lugar muy tranquilo , sin ruidos , y bastante grande que está en medio del campo. Todas las instalaciones están muy bien cuidadas y super limpias. Tiene piscina , diferentes zonas para descansar , una con tele , zona para niños , gimnasio en el exterior , juegos de mesa , pin pon… También tienen spa , hamman y masajes , pero estos son de pago y no los probamos así que no sabría deciros , pero entre y la verdad que estaba muy chulo. El desayuno esta muy rico , y es la única comida incluida , pero también pedimos cena y estuvo también de 10. Tiene también un bar y restaurante , y en general hay bastantes cosas que hacer , pero yo iría si queréis relajaros y descansar. La única pega que le pondría es que esta a 20 minutos del centro , aunque os pueden llevar y traer , hay que pagar y es más caro que hasta un taxi privado. Las personas del hotel son super amables , y te ayudan y se acomodan a tus necesidades. Por cierto , hay michis paseando super monos y limpios , por si os gustan o sois alérgicos. Lo recomiendo , y la cama es maravillosa para dormir :)
Cons: La distancia para llegar al centro de la ciudad , incluso mejor quedarse solo en el hotel como hicimos nosotras si solo habéis reservado un día para descansar.

Wir haben selten so eine gepflegte Anlage erlebt und noch nie so aufmerksames, freundliches Personal. Als wir unsere Poolliegen bezogen haben , stand zum Beispiel sofort kostenloses Wasser für uns daneben.
Cons: Wir hatten nur eine Nacht zur Durchreise gebucht, im Nachgang wären wir gerne länger geblieben. Man muss aber natürlich wissen, dass man etwas außerhalb ist. Essen gehen Abends zum Beispiel geht super im Hotel, oder man muss ein Taxi nehmen.

Our stay at this hotel is absolutely incredible. The facilities of the hotel and room that we had were all decorated in great taste. Everywhere in the hotel was consistently kept clean and there were plenty of lounging areas that were always welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast the hotel serves every morning is scrumptous, consisting of delicious homemade breads and pastries, cheeses, jams, fruits, and eggs. It was something I looked forward to each morning. We also tried the lunch and dinner menus, which you can enjoy at different spots in the hotel. The food was absolutely incredible as well! Kudos to the chef for putting together all these lovely dishes. Our experience at the spa was also lovely thanks to the talented massage therapists. The treatments and the spa facility itself were relaxing and a perfect way to unwind after some busy days at the medina. The hotel also connected us with car transfer services. The drivers and the cars were all excellent as well and made our trip convenient and comfortable. The drivers are also very accommodating to our requests. I have many positive things to say about this hotel. But the main highlight for us is the warm and friendly staff. Each time, we were greeted with smiles and top notch services. The management and the whole staff ensured that we were happy and comfortable during our entire stay, down to the smallest details. We absolutely appreciated our stay in Casa Abracadabra! Hope we can come back some time (very) soon ☺️

Really lovely resort and in a very peaceful setting away from the bustle of Marrakesh. The resort is secluded & well maintained . The staff are friendly and very attentive. Overall we had a great stay, only downside was the food and the room shower. We didn’t enjoy the dinner menu at all, lunch was ok and breakfast was probably the best of the bunch. The shower drains extremely slowly and it was very unpredictable in temperature going from hot to cold continuously. Otherwise beautiful room with a lovely little private terrace. We would come back again as it was very welcoming and peaceful.

Beautiful property, with great facilities, gorgeous restaurant with open log fire, lovely pool and super comfy beds. We had a great hammam and massage and the breakfasts were amazing. Some excellent staff and with a few small tweaks it would be at the level we were expecting from previous reviews.
Cons: Would have been nice to have been offered a drink on arrival whilst they did passport bits etc. Better lighting in the dressing area - v difficult to see! Mojito making practice needed (tried twice and both awful) and it was a shame our hamman and massage experience, which were excellent, ended with an abrupt “goodbye” and not being taken back down to the lounge area and being offered water/ a drink. Also surprised to be billed for water round the pool when it was served as if it was complimentary - and frankly should be in such a property (as it was in the Riad we subsequently stayed in)

This pace it's an absolute gem! The photos do not justify how beautiful the place is. The decor, the details and the attentive staff were amazing! We went end of November and the weather was like the UK summer and it was not busy. It's 25 mins to the town centre but we were so glad it as the town was very busy. I'm already thinking of going back. :)

We stayed 4 nights in September 2024 in the room "Wish". We loved every minute of our stay. The gardens and pool are havens of quiet and tranquility and beautifully maintained. Well, it was awesome. Although I travel a lot, I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about Marakesh and all that. However, this place is so awesome and detailed that it was the best part of the stay in Marakesh. First of all, it looks so retro and it is how you imagine the old Marakesh Housing, but of course, everything is new here. They paid attention to all kinds of details, like mud walls, bricks, wooden ceilings, and gardens. So, yeah, 10 for details. Also, it is clean as hell. I think that room was cleaned thoroughly at least once or twice a day. Staff is a special story, they are so helpful and kind, almost that much that you are uncomfortable asking for something :). Breakfast is great, food is great. There is a restaurant on the premises, with amazing bread. They are making it right there, some cornbread, whoah...loved it. So, yeah, the place is a little bit pricey for Marakesh, but it is well worth it if you want an effortless and relaxed vacation. There is a great spa there, great masseuses, all that you need to forget about your daily job. But if you simply can't, like I do, there is great wifi, which you should cherish in Marakesh.
Cons: Well, not a single thing. Simply, everything was great. For somebody, the distance to Marakesh center will be a problem, but we took a rent-a-car, and this house has shaded parking, so it is all good. And believe me, you want to be far a way from the center and Medina, because it is really loud and active. Great to visit, but if you want to rest, you should be far a way from there, like 15 mins drive - like this.

We loved so much! The rooms and gardens were exceptionally beautiful. It really is a very special place. Understated beauty in every corner. The front office team - both ladies - were very friendly and helpful. Everything was brilliantly organised, both before our stay and during it. The rest of the staff team were very keen to please and were polite and helpful. Lovely to meet the owners who have a wonderful vision.
Cons: The food was a bit hit and miss. And the lovely staff had surprisingly limited English and so some orders were misunderstood or misinterpreted.

This place is just amazing. One of the best places we have stayed in years. It felt like paradise. We absolutely loved it, as did our kids. The staff are wonderful, and everyone is so accommodating. Nothing is too much effort. I would 100% recommend a stay here, especially if you're looking for a few days of relaxation after the medina. Gorgeous pools and delicious food. And gin & tonics from the bar area are so good! The beds are like heaven and everything about this place is just superb.

For us, the location being just outside of the pace of Marrakech was perfect. It was quiet and a wonderful place to relax among the olive trees and many different patio's. The hotel was able to always arrange transport to and from the city saving the hassle of dealing with local taxis. Our stay at Casa Abracadabra was indeed like being in a very special paradise! Fantastic staff and wonderful home cooked meals. We loved the fresh bread baked from the wood oven each morning and home made cookies that were replenished in the room each day! The entire staff went far beyond our expectations to make us all feel completely at home. My 14 year old son had one day of recovery from eating some street food in the Souk that did not sit well with him. The entire staff made sure he was doing ok and checked in on him throughout the day. Our family suite was amazing with a perfect set up for the 4 of us. The bathroom was truly spectacular with a shower that was built with a glass wall looking into a private courtyard so you were surrounded by nature while being completely private. Fatima, who you will meet as she keeps the whole hotel and your stay running smoothly at Casa Abracadabra, was wonderful to work with. She was able to direct us to a number of local shops outside of the old city to find very local things at set prices, and went out of her way to help us arrange a day trip to the Agafay desert and pointing us in the direction of non touristy places. Her recommendations felt much more like the recommendations that a friend would give rather than a hotel that may get a commission from referrals. We can't say enough great things about our stay at Casa Abracadabra. Basically, if you are looking for a little magic for your trip to Morocco, as the name implies-magic does indeed live at Casa Abracadabra!
Cons: One tiny and very personal suggestion. I am a musician who is very interested in traditional and modern ethnic musics so this is a very personal suggestion that 99% of the hotel guests would probably not even be aware of. In each of the public spaces inside Casa Abracadabra, (restaurant, poolside or lounge area), there are different feeds of (appropriate), down tempo and soothing contemporary Bossa Nova style background music playing mostly sung in English. I felt at times it was a bit distracting to hear a combination of different tunes overlapping each other. I also would have very much preferred to hear a selection of traditional or modern Arabic and African music. There is so much wonderful indigenous cultural music to be streamed, that having to always hear a modern interoperation of traditional Brazilian Bossa Nova sung in English, grew slightly tiresome. It is not that the music that was played was bad and like I said it probably is 100% enjoyable for almost every guest regardless of age or ethnicity, but I just felt there is such a wonderful opportunity to showcase some of the multi cultural and diverse music from Morocco and Africa that to always fall into this rather "made up" Brazilian music felt a bit out of place or contrived. Of course I also always welcome just listening to the local birds without any music at all, but completely understand the need of some nice feeling background music. I just grew tired of it always being in one style sung in English.

it looks as if you stay in a small village. We had a small house with our own front yard and a beautiful bathroom. The food was very nice and very friendly staff.

Could not have wished for a better stay at Casa Abracadabra - The hotel is an oasis of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. The staff were friendly, attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Beautiful hotel with fantastic attention to detail. Can't wait to visit again!
