The location is amazing, easy to reach, and conveniently close to all of Marrakesh's key monuments. The Riad itself is exceptionally clean and beautifully reflects the cultural spirit of old Marrakech. I especially want to thank Mrs. Sameera and the entire team for their warmth, assistance, and hospitality, with a special mention to Mehdi for preparing our delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast every day. From the warm welcoming with homemade cookies and morroccan iced tea, as well as the comfortable, clean rooms (amazing mattress and pillows) with outstanding hygiene articles and most importantly very very accommodating staff- they made anything for us to feel comfortable, welcomed and safe at their wonderful Riad! Notre séjour au Riad La Vie a été parfait à tous points de vue. De l'accueil chaleureux à la propreté, en passant par le confort des lits et le silence si appréciable après une journée passée dans l'agitation de la médina. Un riad très beau et soigné. Un grand merci à Mme Samira qui a tout fait pour notre bien-être, aux dames qui se sont occupées de notre chambre et de son entretien, ainsi qu’à M. Hamid qui s’est chargé de notre transfert depuis et vers l’aéroport. À refaire sans aucun doute.

Cons: It indicates that it has a pool but it is a very small - without any sun access. It is at the entrance. You can't really use it. There were some issues with prices listed being unclear.

Nice, well laid out riad centrally located in the souk a few minutes walk from Jamaa El Fna place. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Generous local breakfasts on their lovely roof terrace. Great value for money and overall a great experience.

That contrast is exactly what you come to Marrakech for and Riad La Vie delivers it perfectly. The host and her entire team were outstanding. Genuinely warm, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive — the kind of hospitality that feels real rather than rehearsed. For travellers arriving from another country, the cleanliness and sense of safety throughout the property mattered enormously to us, and on both counts this place exceeded expectations. The room was comfortable and spotless. After several nights in the desert and long journeys from hot locations, the showers were exceptional — a small thing that made a big difference. Breakfast was excellent, and the seffa served during our stay was delicious. A quiet, genuine, beautifully run riad in the heart of the action. We would stay again without hesitation.

Resepsiyonda her zaman saat fark etmeksizin ulaşabileceğimiz biri vardı.
Cons: Biz üç kişi birlikte kalabileceğimiz tek oda olduğu için ranzalı odada konakladık. Ranza kat yüksekliği çok az olduğu için ekstra dikkatli kalkmak gerekiyordu ve oturma şansı olmuyordu. Odada dinlenme için belki odaya koltuk ya da sandalye eklenebilir ya da ranza yüksekliği artırılabilir.

The Riad was in a really lovely area, very accessible and very safe too. It was absolutely spotless , credit to the cleaners..best ever. Sheets changed every day, and room cleaned to a very high standard. Staff very helpful. My daughter turned 21 and they brought out cake with candle to that what very thoughtful.
Cons: Maybe the breakfast, although this could be the fact we stayed for 6 nights. If you were there for 3/4 that’s fine. Some mornings you got some fruit others you didn’t. Maybe offer of some fruit would be lovely.

Had the best time staying at Riad La Vie during our 5 night stay in Marrakech. The rooms were comfortable (with air con), the courtyard was gorgeous and the roof top an amazing place to chill with comfortable furniture and great views. The riad itself was a fantastic location being around the corner from the markets, and a short walk to the main square. It was less than a 5 minute walk to taxis and excursion pick ups which was really convenient! The breakfast was lovely, the staff were attentive and so friendly and took time to talk about how day, our plans, offer us anything we needed and made us really feel at home. Honestly had the best time in Marrakech and staying at Riad La Vie made it so much better!

Özellikle sadece konumundan dolayı bile tavsiye edebilirim.Temizlik açısından girdiğimiz ilk günden itibaren tertemizdi. Hergün odamız temizlendi. Çalışanların hepsi çok ilgili, nazik ve güleryüzlüydü. Sorduğumuz sorulara ellerinden geldiğince yardımcı olmaya çalıştılar. Hepsine ayrıca teşekkür ederim. Riyad da güzel dizayn edilmişti. Meydana çok yakın olmasına rağmen sakin ve sessiz konaklama deneyimi yaşadık. Bu arada kendi yaptıkları yoğurtları da çok güzeldi biz beğendik :) Genel olarak iyi ki burayı seçmişim :)
Cons: Kötü yanlarından birisi tatilin bitmesi ve dönüşümüzdü tabi ki ama onun haricinde söyleyebileceğim kahvaltıları güzeldi ama sınırlıydı. Belki birkaç adet fazla verilebilir(pankek, gözleme sayıları artabilir yani) Bir de double yataklı odada kalma imkanımız olsaydı daha güzel olabilirdi.

My wife and I spent a lovely, relaxing night here on the final evening of a 9-day stay in Morocco. The Riad is in a beautiful, quiet laneway off a busy shopping street, in a quiet and safe area. The check-in was smooth and the hospitality superb. The rooms were enormous and had every comfort, while the bathroom, in particular, was spotless. We also got to enjoy a beautiful breakfast on the rooftop terrace, which was one of the highlights of our entire stay. 10/10, would highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay at Riad La Vie. The location is perfect inside the Medina and everything was exactly as described. The food was always fresh and delicious, the beds were super comfortable, and the linens, towels, and toiletries were very good quality. You can really feel the care in every detail. We also loved the cooking class and the excursions they helped us organize. The team really goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. For us the service was truly 5-star, and that is what matters most. Honestly, after staying here I don’t really understand some of the bad reviews. Sometimes it feels like some people just look for problems. Our experience was amazing and we would definitely come back.

Inte så bra frukost, bara äggbaserad i stort sett. Saknade bröd. Serverade hemmagjord yoghurt men utan müsli eller frukt/bär till. Upplevde värdinnan (ägaren?) som intensiv och som bara ville att man skulle lämna en bra recension, hade svårt att ta feedback. Jättehårda kuddar men man kunde be om en lite mjukare tydligen, hade varit skönt om det fanns direkt.

Amazing location right in the Medina - everything is within walking distance, which made exploring really easy. The service from all the staff was great, always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with pancakes and eggs every day plus some different options to mix it up. The room was clean, and the memory foam bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Cons: The room was quite basic - no tea or coffee facilities and no TV. We also noticed that the plates at breakfast weren’t always properly clean. The water pressure was very poor, and the water temperature was hard to control, often getting too hot very quickly. Overall, it’s decent value for money, but we don’t quite understand why the hotel has such high reviews.

S'arrêter ici c'est s'arrêter dans un véritable havre de paix , chose essentielle quand on visite une ville comme Marrakech ( Arnakesh plutôt !!!). Riad De Vie was a wonderful place for my family and I to stay! The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and very well kept. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious, and a special highlight was the chef’s homemade marmalade it was amazing and clearly made with care. The location is perfect: close to shopping, attractions, and everything within easy walking distance. It made exploring so easy and enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great stay in a perfect location.

We were welcomed so warmly by Samira, the owner, with hot mint tea and made to feel so comfortable as if at home. The riad is beautiful as was our room and bathroom. We are so happy we stayed here for our first two nights in Morocco. Hisham and Ayoub were especially helpful, kind and generous with their services. Everyone is fluent in English as well. We greatly enjoyed getting to know them. We are so grateful especially to Ayoub who woke up very early during our last morning to prepare coffee and breakfast for us in time for our deptarture to catch a train. The breakfasts were lovely and satisfying. There were heaters on the partially covered terrace which was lovely and comfortable. We always felt like we were coming back to a safe place of friends and home when we returned from being out and about. We would not hesitate to stay at Riad La Vie again and recommend to friends.
Cons: It would have been nice to have had a little more space in the room. We just had carryon luggage and still had to keep our clothes in the luggage on the floor. Otherwise everything was excellent!

We absolutely loved our stay at Riad La Vie! The building itself is beautiful, with stunning carvings and mosaics that really capture the charm of the riad. The location is fantastic; easy to find, close to a taxi rank and roundabout, making drop-off and pick-up very convenient. It’s wonderfully quiet, yet only a short walk to the main square and the medina. The staff were exceptional and incredibly attentive. A massive shoutout to Ayoub, who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. His welcoming and kind nature was outstanding, and he was always happy to chat, offer recommendations, and help with anything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Riad La Vie.

Great location in the Medina and close by to the main square. Hammam was great and they organised it with less than 1 hour notice! Honestly had the best sleeps of our entire trip here.

I would say that this riad is quite exceptional - the owner and her team do an amazing job of making guests feel welcome. The location is superb, the rooms are cosy, and the breakfasts and dinners were great.
Cons: It's a riad, which means that all the rooms overlook a central courtyard and sound travels - at times I found the noise of other guests disturbing (this might say more about me than about the riad tho'!).

Apesar de simpáticos, eram muito insistentes para fazer alguma das atividades do riad com custos extra. Pouca variedade de refeições. Em 7 refeições, 4 foram frango. Em relação à limpeza, denotou-se muita mais atenção e cuidado no início da estadia. Nos últimos dias, já não tínhamos o mesmo número de toalhas e a cama não era feita com o mesmo cuidado (apenas esticavam o cobertor de cima). A piscina era muito menor do que aparentava e encontra-se também na recepção, ao lado do sofá onde os funcionários pernoitam. Os quartos são bastante pequenos.

Exceptional! The room was absolutely gorgeous, as is the entire building. Beautifully decorated but also clearly meticulously clean. Staff are truly wonderful and kind. Very hard working and they clearly put in so much effort to ensure we had a good experience. Also - the food we were given was delicious. We will definitely be back to Marrakech as we love it, and when we do we’ll be staying here again. Highly recommend.

The Riad is located very central , a 5 minute walk from the Jemaa El Fna market , im a walking distance to Secret gardens , close tot the bus station from the airport , 2 km away from ysl gardens. Although the breakfast and the dinner are not your average buffet , they are customised for each guest , and they serve traditional Morrocan food everyday. Everyday they switch the menu so you can try different flavours. The rooms are clean , housekeeping comes daily and changes the towels and cleans up after you. The staff speaks very good english and are very friendly , thry will help you with everything you require , if you want they offer hammam and massage. You can sped the evening on the rooftop , it has a hammoc and a very beautifull wiew. On request they also offer daily trips , but they cost a bit more than what you will find on the streets

Staff at the riad were very helpful and always willing to help with advice on the local area for restaurants etc. and always service with a smile! A special mention for Otman who arranged pick up and drop off for us from the airport and was always willing to share local area info.

Othman deserves special recognition – he was extremely professional, kind, and courteous, which made us feel truly special. The entire staff was very friendly. The food was great. We took a half board option and we were served really tasty local cuisine. Super staff. So accommodating. Room setup was perfect for the four of us. Food was interesting especially for us Irish but we loved the fact that we had set menu and had to get on with it. Can’t complement the team enough, super patient, organised a great guide called Hassan to bring us around the Souks. Highly recommend you get a guide. While we were only there for two nights and then wanted to experience the food in our Riad, there was a very lively restaurant nearby called Dardar I think which sounded like great craic.

Cons: There was nothing not to like about this place! My buddy was unhappy with the comfort of his bed, but I felt that it was fine! I guess a street leading straight to the hotel would be a bit more convenient, but the staff was more than willing to help carrying anything that needed carrying! And that just would not have been feasible for its great location in the market area!

We stayed at Riad la Vie for five nights then came back for two more after a short stay outside the city. The building has been beautifully renovated with a lovely rooftop terrace. We had breakfast and evening meal included which was very convenient. The place is kept spotless by three wonderful cleaners who are always cheerful and helpful. The food was good and the cooks very flexible in providing alternatives to the full set dinner (very generous helpings). The reception team: Kamal, Othman and Ayoub was absolutely great. Everything done with a lovely smile and any minor difficulties were dealt with straightaway. Transport was arranged by the Riad for us from the airport when we arrived. This worked very well. The driver waited over an hour for us as the arrivals process in the airport was very slow - he was great. We'd recommend this service. It is clear that the whole team work well together, creating a very friendly, happy environment for guests; and we had a really warm welcome when we came back for our final couple of nights. Because the rooms are all around the central courtyard this adds to the sense of an extended family. This can lead to the potential problem of noise if guests are not aware of how the sound travels in the building. There were a couple of occasions when late comers were a bit loud. So this is not a criticism of the Riad or its staff, it's just a hope that people staying there take notice of the requests for "quiet hours" between 10pm and 6am. Maybe this can be more clearly noted on the various websites you advertise on. We had a wonderful time here, were looked after by a great team, and were sad to leave.
Cons: Maybe make sure that the pool is described accurately on the Booking.com website. On the Riad's own website it is called a "dipping pool" which is spot on. We knew that the pool was going to be small, but met some guests who were disappointed that it wasn't a swimming pool.

I was made to feel comfortable at all times! Please keep doing what you are doing, it is exceptional! When I booked, it mentioned 'sauna' in the description for a higher fee from the cheapest room. I didn't really mind, but some might feel mislead. Taking the plug out the shower everytime you want to wash to stop a bad smell arising was a little strange. Lets put that down to plumbing and it is being worked on.

Riad La Vie was our favourite stay during our trip to Marrakech. It’s location is so central and easy to locate. The staff that we dealt with were incredible, big thanks to Samira, Outaman, Younes and Ayoub, who made our experience all the better. The Riad is extremely clean and it is such an authentic experience. The breakfast and dinners were delicious and all homemade from chicken tagine to harira soup. I am a vegetarian and they made sure to have an option for me which was very accommodating. The view from the rooftop is beautiful, that’s where we watched the sunset each evening. The staff really do go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Thank you to the ladies who cleaned our room so well. We couldn’t recommend this Riad enough and we hope to come back again❤️

This is an absolutely gorgeous place right in the center of Marrakech's Medina. It's spacious, clean, very beautiful, very quiet, authentic. Their roof top is just amazing! (You have your breakfast and dinners there). Overall, it's a great experience of Morocco culture, by itself any by its location right in the middle of historic Medina. This was my very first time in Morocco, so I honestly didn't know what to expect, but this place certainly saved the whole trip. And probably the most important is people: the team is just impeccable, everyone is so welcoming, warm and willing to help. Really, if you consider staying in Medina (and not the more modern part of Marrakech), this is your obvious choice. And did I mention the roof top?
Cons: There is no TV in the room :) It's just my thing, and it's not a big deal, and it's probably helps to immerse into culture even more, but I just used to switch on TV in the background while in the room. Although lack of TV sort of drives you to go to the roof which is a better option :)

The staff is amazing. They are kind, all happy to help, and always make sure you don't worry about anything. Multifunctional because they always find a quick and good solution. The experience of hammam and massage is great. It's a place where you can really disconnect and relax. Breakfast is nice, healthy, and fresh. We booked a tour in the city organized by them, and they focus on finding the best tour guy. Which they did, his English was perfect, his knowledge about everything (culture, traditions, world and local history). We definitely would love to come back.

It’s a stunning property perfectly located in the Medina just off the main road. It’s been meticulously updated with every detail well thought out. It has the “wow” factor and yet it’s still so warm and welcoming. Every staff person was marvelous, every one of them aiming to maximize comfort for each guest. It’s clear that the owners take care of the staff, who in turn take great care of the guests.
Cons: This isn’t a testament of the property as much as it seems to be a cultural difference for vegetarians and especially vegans. In general there isn’t a strong understanding of vegetarian diets and it’s even harder for vegans. There were a couple times There was meat in our food or milk in vegan foods, but the staff quickly worked to prepare something fresh and off the menu just to feed the two of us which is a testament to their care. The main takeaway is that the people and the property always aim to take great care of you. We would absolutely come back again and will be recommending this little gem to our friends.

Breakfast and dinner were served on the rooftop, which was pleasant. The food was good, typical, and freshly made. For breakfast: orange juice, typical bread (don't remember the name), three small cups of orange jam, cheese and olives, french-press coffee and moroccan tea, small omellette. All good. Dinner started with a small entry, followed by the main course, and then the desert. Service was excellent and very attentive to customers requests. The room was reasonably wide and very clean. Bathroom was also clean and sufficiently large.
Cons: The room windows opened only towards the inner space of the Riad, i.e., the corridor leading to the room. Therefore, privacy was not the best (though no one actually passed in front of our window). The most unpleasant thing was an odour coming from the drainpipe of the sink. Closing the plug and leaving an inch of water at the bottom of the sink solved the problem.

Riad La Vie is perfectly situated in the Medina, nearby the hustle and bustle of the Souks as well as some key sites to see (Badi Palace, Bahia Palace, Jemma El-Fnaa) - we walked everywhere and didn’t feel the need to use local taxis. On the note of local taxis, we’d recommend asking the Riad to organise this to/from the Airport - it was easy and seamless and the concierge met us as we arrived! As for the Riad, staying at Riad La Vie was really the highlight of our stay. More specifically, the staff’s amazing hospitality - the three concierges & the consultant were so accommodating and made us feel so comfortable during our time in Marrakech. Even during Ramadan they stayed open 24/7 and we really appreciated this! Dinner/breakfast - delicious and homemade - we usually eat out a lot abroad but ended up eating at the Riad because it was so good. Rooftop views - stunning, we enjoyed the Atlas Mountains and hearing the Prayer Calls in the evening. I 100% recommend Riad La Vie, you won’t regret staying there :)

The Riad was beautiful and centrally located in the Medina. When we arrived, we were welcomed by Sabina with hot mint tea and cookies and shown around. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Dinner was served on the upper terrace but it was cold so they moved our table into a private alcove. Everyone was very kind and accommodating. We really enjoyed our time there.
Cons: As it is a house, a few of the other guests were a bit loud when we were trying to go to sleep but that was not the fault of the riad and they were not loud all night.

I had a pleasant stay at Riad La Vie in Marrakesh. The check-in process was smooth, and the airport transfer organized by the Riad was convenient. Othman, Mohammed, and Hamza were remarkably friendly and dedicated hosts, making our experience enjoyable. The room, although smaller than expected from the pictures, was impeccably clean. The Riad's location was ideal for exploring various sightseeing points in the area.
Cons: However, there were a few drawbacks. The New Year's Eve experience fell short of expectations. The miscommunication about dinner timings and unfulfilled promises regarding drinks affected our comfort. The Consultant's unprofessional behavior created unnecessary inconvenience. Additionally, the room had a persistent smell from the shower, despite the staff's efforts to address it. Furthermore, the rooms lacked soundproofing, impacting the overall stay. Despite these challenges, the genuine warmth of the staff contributed positively to the experience.

If you stay at the hotel for the dinner you'll get to taste all famous Maroccan traditional dishes - those were delicious. Location is very central, short walking distance to the big market.
Cons: We hated our room. The bathroom sinks had a strong odor and the room was dark and cold. We paid extra for the deluxe room, but it was located on the ground floor and all the extra value we got was a bit more space compared to other rooms. We asked to change rooms immediately upon our arrival, but they said the hotel was full. We followed up with our question the next two days, but got the same answer - they will move us in case another room frees up. We saw many guests coming and leaving, but the manager never got back to us on this topic. Since the room was next to reception it was very noisy in the evening and in the morning - phones ringing, guests knocking at the door or talking, etc. There is no TV in the room, a bit unexpected. Also don't expect to swim in the pool, it's extremely small, located on the ground floor next to reception, in a hallway basically. There is no indoor dinning area, so they were using heaters when it gets cold during the dinner (December). However, there were only 2 tables with heaters available and we felt pressure to finish our dinner quickly and make room for other guests. Overall, we weren't able to fully relax in this hotel and if it wasn't pre-paid, we would have left earlier.

We arrived in Marrakesh and were welcomed with genuine hospitality. The hosts were so sincere and kind. One of the hosts (Utman) cooked us an early breakfast even before the chef arrived for the day because we had to leave for an early tour. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The location is also very ideal - they are secluded within the bazaar alleyway, close enough to be within walking distance to many of the major tourist attractions such as jama el finaa, badi palace, etc. The feeling in the riad is very intimate because there are only 8 other guests.
Cons: The vegetarian food accommodations could have been slightly better. If the main meal was chicken and rice, we were given rice without any other protein substitute. Nonetheless, the food was very tasty and the portions were good.

Breakfast was delicious and there is a beautiful roof terrace. We chose to have dinner there too - which was equally delicious. The beds were extremely comfortable but for those of you after King Size, please not they are doubles. The riad itself is immaculate - really beautiful and individual and located in a quiet little alley not far from the main square (10 mins walk tops). But the icing on the cake was the star - in particular Mohammed was a ray of sunshine every time we saw hime - always smiling and trying to do more to make our stay even better. And Ottman was equally a real credit to this Riad. Highly recommend.
Cons: in November it starts to get a little bit fresh in the evenings to eat in the open air, but there are not any spaces completely inside due to it being a Riad with an open courtyard. We found that noise really carried inside the Riad again due to the courtyard type construction...

We liked everything in Ria La Vie, but the best part was the staff, they are so nice, friendly, professional, helpful. Everything we need, they helped us, to exchange money they walked to the Souk with us, with our luggages, with our safety, in general, with everything we needed. A part of that, the Riad is like a family house, small like a boutique hotel, loved the decor, the colours (Very traditional Moroccan style) and is very quite. Location is perfect if you want to stay in the middle of Medica and in the Souks, we did almost everything walking by, also very good restaurants walking distance. We will stay there again in our next Marrakesh trip. 10/10 Thanks Samira and the whole team, you're incredible!

One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived (which ended up being quite late) we were treated so warmly and throughout the trip all of the staff were so lovely. Samira, Mohammed, Ilyas, and Othman ensured our stay was amazing throughout. We would highly recommend the food which they will prepare fresh and was delicious. The iced tea is also delicious. They also offer in house massage services and anything else you want. Samira said when our guests are happy we are happy and they definitely all ensured that we had the best stay. There was an issue at one point with the AC in our room but they worked to solve the problem as soon as we reported it and more than made up for it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Cons: With the structure of a Riad where all the rooms face the courtyard the noise bounce off the walls and penetrate into the room. Luckily, the staff came to get me from the taxi drop off. I wouldn’t have found the Riad otherwise. When I asked staff for recommendations (such as restaurants, where to buy spices, taxi to airport) I was able to find solutions at half the price of what the staff recommended.

My friend and I cannot praise Riad La Vie and their amazing staff enough. It was a 10 out of 10 experience. The rooms and the Riad itself is beautiful. The whole location is exceptionally clean. It was lovely to have breakfast on the rooftop every morning. The breakfast was delicious, a mixture of traditional and european cuisine. At the start of our stay the staff informed us this should feel like our home away from home and it really did. We were treated like Queens - the staff genuinely cared about our experience and welfare. Mohammed often walked us to venues in the Medina. There was another female traveler who got lost in the markets and they went to find her. Therefore, It is a great place to stay if you are a solo traveller! Speaking of the staff, each and every member we encountered were warm, caring and fun. We would like to thank Sameria for just being a wonderful manager of the the property, she coordinated everything, she was warm and so smart and informative! She is the best! Mohammed - the heart of the Riad! He was always there for us, so kind, thoughtful, helpful and was such a fountain of all knowledge about Marrakech. Hamza was so attentive to our needs, always friendly and eager to support us. There was another gentleman, whose name I sadly cannot recall, but when we came back from our fantastic nights out in Marrakech, he would always be there to welcome us in, no matter the time (normally early hours in the morning) and enquired about our evening and if needed light refreshments upon our return. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the Medina a road away from the souks on a side road, always felt very safe. Also, minutes walk from some of the best bar such as Dar Dar. Despite the central location, the Riad itself was always quiet and peaceful. I plan to visit Marrakech again this year and this is the only place I will stay and highly recommend for all travellers. Thank you Riad La Vie for an unforgettable experience!
Cons: There was a miscommunication with airport pick up, we arrived earlier than they expected. So we had to find our own way to the Riad. However, this was pretty easy as Marrakech airport taxi service is very organised and all taxis are licenced. As seasoned travellers it was not a big deal to us all. However Samaria and her team apologised profusely and were so kind to provide us with a free taxi to airport upon our departure. So not a negative at all but, a further example of how they worked tirelessly to ensure our experience was the best - which it was :)

The entire staff—particularly Achram (really hoping I got his name right)—is INCREDIBLY kind and helpful. They, in addition to the beautiful architecture and design, are the biggest assets to the property. We found the room to be very clean and comfortable—especially the shower! Breakfast was also nicely done. We were ready for a long day of touring, and it was filling and very tasty. Lastly, we appreciated the travel book in our room that listed restaurants we could try along with some excursions they offered. We did the walking tour with Abdul. Though we had a mixup regarding transportation at the start of our stay, they remedied it to our satisfaction by the end. I would recommend staying here for any couple or group. I almost forgot to include how easy it was to get to the road using Google Maps!
Cons: Our room was beautiful, however I wish it include a collapsible luggage tray to open suitcases. We didn’t want to place our dirty luggage on the bed, so we used a chair which was a little inconvenient.

The location was 10/10, close to all the local shops in the market and still no noise. The Riad was super quite. The breakfast was excellent and healthy. They welcomed us with tasty Moroccan tea and biscuits. The staff there Ashraf and I think Assam (don't remember this name exactly) were so nice and friendly. I would definitely go back and recommend it to all.
Cons: Nothing there not to like but a feedback that if they change the brown sofas to blue sofas in the lobby then this place will look like a mini palace.

Its remodeled and very tastefully decorated. it’s gorgeous inside. The rooftop is also very cozy. The rooms were small, but clean with great design details. After staying at the Meridian N’fis right before, we were blown away how much cleaner and nicer it was than the resort. The breakfast was good, and service was excellent. I came here with my husband and two kids and the 2 room suite was perfect for us.
Cons: This is going to be an issue with any Riad in this location but you cannot drive directly there, you have to hire someone with a cart to take your baggage- but fortunately it is very close to a car drop off point. Also, there is no elevator so if you have mobility issues, be aware. on the street side rooms you can hear a lot of noise if people are out and about being loud.

Love how beautiful and serene the property is. you get lost once you get inside the door and transform into a different world. Love that they have a rooftop and an indoor pool. Staff is what makes this place exceptional. They welcomed us with freshly brewed mint tea and snacks. It was a relief to sit down and relax after our long travel. Rooms are a bit small but we hardly stayed in the room. The property also comes with fee hamam and message that we thoroughly enjoyed. Special thanks to the receptionist Lahcen who helped us make reservations and gave us insights into our trip planning and personally took care of our needs. Also thanks to the night guy who helped arrange a surprise cake for my husband at 1 am on the rooftop and even hooked up his phone to speakers for music. The service is sub par and the people here are just amazing. Lastly, the food here is great too. I would highly suggest to try the Harira soup. Overall can’t go wrong and highly recommended.

My wife and I had a fantastic time at this Riad. The staff, especially Lahcan and Ottman were so attentive, kind, and went above and beyond for us each and every time. Very impressed with their hospitality. The Riad itself was clean and safe. Our room was the perfect size, came with all amenities including AC (needed during the hot weather!)and we had no issues with noise. Sometimes we could hear other people talking but this was very acceptable and we never had any issues with sleep. The breakfast was open from 7-11 am and we got a nice range of coffee, tea, juice, and pancakes sitting on the lovely rooftop. Lahcan took his time to tell us about the things to do in Marrakesh and provided us with a lovely map. He also sorted out our dinner reservation and taxi ride which was very kind of him. I highly recommend Riad La Vie, overall it is great value for money and in the heart of the Medina.

This hotel was wonderful. I really wanted to give it 10/10. It was beautiful, very clean and comfortable, and the staff was so nice and accommodating. They really went out of their way to make it feel like home. Were it not for the noisy street outside our room I would have no complaints. On the last night, there were children screaming outside our room in the street until 1am. The staff offered to change our room but we declined as it would have been more of a hassle then was necessary.

She didn’t speak English so not much conversation, she put in my hair body lotion so I had to wash quickly my hair. She realised I caught her putting body lotion and she hide the bottle.

Despite being close to all of these things it is quiet and peaceful. what really sets this place apart is the staff - all very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly - willing to go above and beyond to make your stay a good one. There were three waiters, Ottman, Laschane and Agaure were quite amazing in their dedication to the job despite it being Ramadan and being no doubt hungry etc they still tried and succeeded to provide service with a smile up and down some very steep steps, time after time. Their English was very good too. The cleaning staff and cook was superb too, almost impossible to fault. Well done Riad La Vie! You have some excellent staff.

The breakfast was really good, with local products and freshly made coffee. Despite the heat outside, as you enter the property it's always cold. It has a really nice feel to it. Staff was always asking if we needed anything and also helped us to contact our transfer driver for the return journey.
Cons: The only thing I didn't enjoy was the noise, we knew that the property was inside the Medina, so we thought that it would be busy during the day and until late, but it was worse than that, the noise outside was non stopping, from people cleaning the street at 4am, to people shouting, bicycles and motorbikes all night long and unfortunately, the property doesn't have double glaze ( that's not a thing there )

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our first time in Morocco. It was a little sanctuary in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the old Medina. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful with everything, nothing was ever too much for them, it was the highest level of hospitality. The rooms were spotless and breakfast was so tasty. Every day was something a little different and interesting. We had the hammam and massage treatments which were incredible, and definitely a highlight of the trip. I would 100% recommend this Riad and if I ever go back I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

Cons: By essence, a riad is a fairly noisy place because sound resonates. As a result, it was difficult to both sleep early at night and sleep late in the morning. especially as you need to knock on the door for someone to come and open the main door for you. The noise of the banging on the door from other guests will bother most bedrooms. Also, in winter months, it can be a bit chilly. Even though there is a reversible AC unit, the bathroom stays cold. This is the one occasion where I regretted we were not given slippers.

Great old house in the City Centre of Marrakesch. It is in the typical Moroccan style and very close to every main attraction that Marrakesch offers. The staff was super-friendly and really caring about the needs of the guests: they gave us a lot of advice about what to visit and about what to do during our stay. We were warmly welcomed and we were offered mint tea and pastries while we were filling our documents in the hotel’s lobby. The Breakfast offered by the Riad is really amazing: there was every kind of food and the quantities were more than enough! Being gluten-free, I was also given the kind of food I could eat! Moreover, the breakfast is served in the hotel’s terrace, and the view from there is simply gorgeous! Absolutely recommended!

When we booked the reviews and comments spoke of you being part of the family of the Riad when you stay there. This was very true and staff at the Riad La Vie were always very helpful and gave us good tour and dinner recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the Breakfasts on the rooftop terrace (as the sun rose) set us up for the day as the food was so plentiful. The Riad itself, and it's transformation and renovation are breathtaking, with amazing attention to detail. The location is in the centre of the old city, so within seconds you can be out and about on the vibrant streets (or take sanctuary after a busy day). Having taxis and tours organised for us was so helpful - especially on arrival made the trip so much easier (especially with kids travelling with us). If you want to be in the centre of the Medina, in an authentic Riad with hosts who will help and guide you on how to get the most from your trip - then we'd recommend booking here.

Nice hotel located in the middle of the medina close to all main attractions. I never needed to take a taxi other than to and from the train station. The room is comfy. The room locks is basically a simple external lock 🔐. The bed is comfy. The room however doesn't have lockers, cupboards or other essentials. The furniture was just a bed, two Woden chairs and one small table and another table with t glass shelves. So basically a simple room and that is absolutely fine. There is an AC in the room. The bathroom basin and toilet area was small but looked nice. The seat has a bidet built in like the Japanese ones. The shower part is absolutely my favorite. The shower area is big with nice sliding glass door. The Soap used are the best I have used in my entire life because of the nice smell. Aside from the room the breakfast was below average compared to other buffet style I find in hotels. The breakfast consists of few traditional items and it is not a buffet. You get served when you wake up outside (you can get breakfast in your room if you ask as I read) The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Overall, it is a good value for money. The WiFi coverage is excellent and the internet speed is good.
Cons: The hotel does not have a swimming pool, but rather a jacuzzi pool.

Location is great if you want to stay in the medina. It is quiet of city noise and is a great break from the bustle of the medina., Staff are very attentive and it is very clean. The rooftop is lovely. We had a massage and hammam on iur first night and it was terrific.
Cons: Coffee isn't good at breakfast so if you're a coffee person you'll be going out to find a good one around the corner at Snack Adam.

A very beautiful Riad located in a great place in the médina and close to the square. Staff are friendly and accomodating, breakfast is ample and delicious, and the massages were relaxing. The rooms had air conditioning which was a life saver on the hot night we were there.

The property was beautiful, serene and most relaxing. It was definitely worth the price abd well located as it was just inside of the medina but we didn’t always feel the safest walking in the even as two females but that’s not the property’s fault. However it’s something to be no full of as solo females travelling due to the property’s location. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing every morning but not many vegan options.

Our flight was delayed by 4hrs and we ended up checking into the hotel at 1am. The Riad was so considerate to set up dinner for us in our room as we had missed the dinner service. Right from being picked up from the airport, to checking into hotel, dinner in the room - the service was excellent. The staff are so friendly and engaging. They will happily spend time giving you an insight into the history, architecture, Atlas Mountains etc A big shout out to the chef; a wonderful lady who accommodated my dietary requirements. Vegetarian food, with additional restrictions due to health restrictions, my breakfast / dinner was great! The rooms are so comfortable, spacious and clean. But it’s the customer service that really shines out for me. The location is perfect if you are here to visit Old Marrakech; the Medina, Souk, palaces and famous tombs are all walking distance. We pretty much walked everywhere and ended up getting a feel of the local souks, walking through really old narrow alleyways that’ll take you back in time. You won’t go wrong with this place.

A fantastic riad with an even more fantastic host. We were directly greeted with delicious tee and warm recommendations on what to see and do in the city. The included breakfast was delicious and you can enjoy it on the rooftop with a beautiful view of Marrakech. The riad itself is located pretty central, so that the shops and the main square can be reached quickly. The offered hammam and massages can then revitalize you after a long day of exploring.

Great location, about 5 mins walk from Djemaa el Fna. You do need to walk from a drop off point for about 3 mins to get to the hotel but the day receptionist met me. The riad was beautifully decorated and I was welcomed with Moroccan tea and pastries. If you wish to use the hammam please give reception 3 hours notice so it heats up. Air con in the room was very welcome and I loved their bath products. The day and night staff were very friendly and we had a beautiful breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
Cons: Nothing, it was lovely. I was sad just to stay one night.

Abdullah and Achraf provided excellent service; really top notch. When I raised the issue that I couldn’t sleep due to noise from the street in our original room, we were immediately moved to another (bigger) room for free, which was really appreciated. The riad is also beautiful and well-located.
Cons: Nothing bad but just be aware that that bottled water provided is not free! We were not aware of that but thankfully when we raised that we were told it was free (suspect that this was due to miscommunication!), we did not have to pay. Many thanks, Abdullah!

Checking in was good and quick with a warm welcoming feeling and Moroccon tea and biscuits from all especially Abdul, connecting to WI FI was quick and reception in all areas of the hotel is excellent. Small hotel in a good part of Medina with shopping and restaurant all around, police station is walking distance with the police patrolling round the clock. Abdul made sure i get my breakfast at 6 instead of the 7 am the hotel usually serves .Next time will stay same place
