The shop "Moro" has some nice items for sale
Cons: Extremely disappointed! I travel to Marrakech very frequently so I know what standards and facilities to expect in Marrakech and I have many other establishments to compere Moro to. I say this as I was so disappointed at the "couldn't care less" of MOST of the staff. The exception being a very nice lady, who works in the adjoining shop. I will summarise , from the outset *on "Booking. Com" it states "pay at property .. This is not an issue for me where or when I pay but IT IS is an issue when I'm leaving to go to the airport in London at 4 a.m. in the morning and I'm receiving multiple messages via booking.com that Moro is cancelling my room because I haven't paid yet! Having to transfer money at early at this early in the morning or on the way to the airport is not acceptable and it it was not correct of Moro to be demanding payment before I have got to the premises as I expected and it is firmly written in black and white payout to the premises * there was no nice welcome when we arrived at the premises no help with our bags first of all before we asked for it. * our room was not ready this is not a problem as I had requested an early checkout so that's fine but no offer of a cup of tea or welcome drink just left to sit and wait. Almost not ready *I asked if there was a room service menu was told that the hotel had room service. The reception man said that there was a room service menu in the room... I was even told there is a menu in the room for 24-hour room service this was not true. There is no room service at all * I asked him if I could have a glass of wine while I wait... He said yes of course the waiter will bring it... Having waited for one hour I then asked someone else why the waiter had not brought it to me me.... the second waitor said they do not serve alcohol but no one bothered to come and tell me this!

After escaping a noisy and badly insulated riad the night before, we booked this hotel last minute and weâre so glad we did. We were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly manager Abdel. The food on the terrace was amazing, and breakfast in the morning was equally perfect. So peaceful and quiet an oasis in the city, especially in the mornings by the pool. Conveniently located just around the corner from Jardin Majorelle. We loved the way the hotel was decorated, the design and atmosphere were beautiful. Our room was extremely spacious with a huge terrace, and the concept store in the hotel was such a nice surprise. A wonderful stay in an amazing hotel! A 10! Thank you Abdel & staff!

The Moro hotel is so charming. We arrived at 9:30pm and the hotel was very quiet. There was a lovely gentleman waiting to get us checked in and show us to our room. The room was large for family of 4. One bedroom with two twin beds and one room with a larger bed. A sitting area, little kitchenette and a patio complete with lime tree. Quirky and stylish. It is so enchanting
Cons: we liked everything!

Nice hotel right next to Jardin Majorelle. It is sort of hip, and rooms are tastefully decorated with art from all over Africa. It looks better in person! You can park right in front of the hotel. It is very quiet in the hotel at night. The cats here are cute and a definite bonus!
Cons: We had a very strong perfume (home perfume?) in our room which gave me a headache. Breakfast was rather small and simple, especially for the room price! Hot water takes a long time to come in the shower.

The position of the hotel was perfect - outside the medina but close enough to either walk (15 mins) or take a cab. Cabs were readily available from directly outside. It was very restful and quiet around the pool, which we often had to ourselves. The fridge in the room was very useful for Schweppes tonic (available from most stores - including the Carrefour Express just 5 mins walk away) to add to the duty-free gin (this area of Marrakech is dry). Our duplex room (212) had a huge terrace with furniture and mattresses.
Cons: Perhaps more choice/variety at breakfast - it was fresh and prepared in the kitchen, but to be asked our preferences would have been a bonus.

It is a beautiful place with beautiful rooms and amazing toileteries from âthe marrocansâ. The friendly staff make yourself at home. The nice Concept Store that is part of the Hotel, has a small restaurant open until 7pm with good snacks, salads and an amazing ice cream. Its location is excellent to get to know Marrakech . Although out of the Medina there are lots of petit taxis in front of Jardim Majorelle all day long. I stayed at room 14 with a good kitchen and a big bedroom facing the trees of the Garden. The breakfast although every day the same, is served by the pool and is good. Special thanks to Abdel Malek who made my stay amazing !
Cons: The shower required a lot of patience as the water was few although with good temperature. The pillows were all tough and high that for me was not good

The most beautiful hotel. Everything had such attention to detail. Amazing room, air conditioning was fabulous and service was continuously good throughout our stay. We felt really welcome with 3 children. Loved the pool and the music. Cleaning staff were excellent. Our room was immaculate every day. Thanks for the best holiday. What a secret oasis!
Cons: Very little. It was pretty perfect. Perhaps a little variation on breakfast would be nice and a more updated hairdryer but I'm just being picky. It was a wonderful stay.

Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel. So tastefully decorated and designed. The pool was a beautiful and relaxing oasis. The suite was exquisite, delightfully decorated, with so much room, and ice cold air conditioning. Probably the nicest small hotel we've ever stayed in. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: If I was being very picky the breakfast could have had more options, such as yogurt, more fruit and bread. It was traditional Moroccan which, while nice, we had had enough of by this stage in our travels.

The owner and the staff are exceptionally helpful. The rooms are spacious and quiet. Located close to the Medina. Breakfast is delicious.
Cons: The lounges around the swimming pool are not enough to cater for all the guests. I was not able to lay down after families had taken the lounges at the beginning of the day. There is no bar or restaurant in the evening. Inconsistent replenishment of coffee and water provided in the rooms. The sap and gym is in reality a concession to next door gym.

This hotel was out of this world. we have stayed in some amazing hotels but this was super special. Owned by artists (you will get to meet one of them as he was present on day one), the rooms are decorated to a high level, with beautiful art and pieces all around, with fresh fruit, water and nespresso capsules. You are greeted with a pot of mint tea and biscuits on arrival in the beautiful courtyard looking into the concept boutique hotel that again is a work of art. Lovely garden area and pool, we had the garden view that looked onto the YSL gardens, with bird song all day long. It was away from the crazy souks and a more classy area. The traditional breakfast was delightful with freshly squeezed oranges from the trees in the garden, with t5radiitonal choice of breads. sweet and savoury, local honey and jams and a tasty omelete with fillings of your choice. the team were incredible, amazing service, the comfiest of beds, I would stay here over and over. Thanks Team Moro !

This boutique hotel is so beautiful in every way. I enjoyed the sweetness of Moroccan life at the heart of Marrakech, in the thriving neighborhood of Gueliz. My suite was very comfortable, quiet, cleaned everyday with everything handy. Loved the terrasse/solarium facing Jardin Majorelle with the birds singing everyday as ASMR. The concept store and food are amazing, filled with the signature fragrance of this chic brand. Their design is the perfect blend of modernity and traditional Moroccan artefacts. The staff and owner offered a wonderful atmosphere in this singular space of beauty and sweetness by the Moroccans. I highly recommend to spend time relaxing in the contemplative vibe of Moro.

We absolutely loved our stay at Moro. The staff were amazing - really receptive to everything we asked for including endless requests for more tea and coffee! They brought delicious breakfast to our room every morning. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard. We stayed in a suite with a private garden with its own orange tree, which was so perfect for young kids as was the layout of the suite with two bedrooms and a big living area. The whole place was peaceful and tranquil, you could hear birds in the morning from the neighbouring Jardin majorelle, and there were loads of nice cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance - and easy taxi access to the medina. Absolute gem of a find - thank you to everyone there for making our stay so good.
Cons: The only thing that would have made our stay even better would have been an earlier breakfast time (8.30 earliest).

The location of Moro Boutique Hotel was perfect for everything we wanted to do in Marrakech. Minutes from the YSL museum & Majorelle gardens. A short walk to the lovely Gueliz area and although a slightly longer walk to the Old Medina, we enjoyed our stroll. The staff were incredibly friendly & helpful - they arranged transport and even printed our boarding passes. The 2 bed room suite was bigger than expected. Beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was inexpensive & delicious. The hotel is beautiful and being able to sit by the pool in the sun was a treat.

I went for New Yearâs with my sister, and honestly, we couldnât have chosen better. We had never stayed at this boutique hotel before, and it was an amazing discovery. The staff is super friendly, the rooms feel like small villas with their own living room, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, and full of thoughtful touches, like the plate of fruit and drinks they left as a welcome gift upon our arrival. Thereâs a lovely garden outside with a pool that I wouldâve loved to try, but it was December, and it was cold. The food there is TOP-notch. Cons: We were told by the staff that they will prepare additional bed by the moment we come back to the hotel after our walk and dinner. The bed was not ready upon our return. Luckily there was a duvet stored in a wardrobe of the room so we used this to make the bed. Late at night there when we came back there was no one of the staff to be seen. Breakfast was good but uncoordinated in terms of service. It was cold outside in the yard and we had to wait for a long period of time before we got bread and coffee.

It had a small garden which was a lovely place to sit peacefully in the morning to listen to the birds. Staff at the hotel are very polite and helpful. Oussama made sure we had everything we needed and the staff were kind and accommodating to us by offering storage for our luggage when we had an early arrival and a late check out. We adored the hotel rescue cat and her kittens, they were well looked after by the staff. Hotel Moro was the perfect place to end our stay in Marrakech, to chill out and relax by the pool. It had such a nice atmosphere, I would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful MORO boutique hotel! After having spent the first days in a riad in the medina we ended our midweek to Marrakech in MORO, just outside of the medina. We loved the place: the beautiful and green swimming pool area, the very nicely decorated room, the lovely breakfast and, above all, the very warm, friendly and helpful staff! Many thanks đ
Cons: Nothing, all was beyond expectations

AC, bed
Cons: No hand soap in bathroom, bathroom sink stopped up (not solved), cleaning crew left their mop, bucket, and a used hair net on the floor in front of my bathroom. No one ever came to retrieve them and, when I mentioned it, there was no apparent concern or apology. These are basic requirements and should not be in an issue in a hotel that's this expensive.

MORO is a stunning boutique hotel right next to Jardin Majorelle and the YSL museum. Our apartment was extremely spacious and quiet with a large balcony area. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and there is a beautiful concept store on site too. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were always on hand to help. Weâd definitely recommend MORO boutique hotel for a relaxing stay in Marrakech away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. We wish we had stayed here for longer!

The hotel is well located and very quiet. I loved the decoration and how caring the team was. They would help me with the taxi and provide some recommendations. They also have a very nice boutique with amazing clothes and local products and the restaurant is also great to get a local and healthy lunch.

Nice location , didnât like that the property is open for everyone and therefore always lots of people walk through. You donât want to be next to the pool in your swimsuit having people coming from the street walking by and taking pictures
Cons: Missing details in the rooms, our terrace was completely empty, no matelas , no pillows.. breakfast needs to be prebooked in advance and you need to tell them exactly at what time next morning you want breakfast ( very inflexible for people on holidays)

Exterior design of the building
Cons: The room was not very clean and didnât give a warm cozy feeling to sleep in I would also suggest to remove the huge rugs in the room as they could be dirty and not nice for guests to step on while barefoot. The toilet was very tiny as well and the transparent shower in the middle of the room is not a great idea and could be uncomfortable for guests

Amazing staff, lovely room for a single person- The bathroom doesn't offer much privacy if a couple is travelling. The pool is lovely but there's a lot of back and forth of people through the garden, as there's the hotel boutique next door, so it doesn't feel v private.
Cons: For the price per night, breakfast should be included. The team should make the pool area more private for hotel guests or people purchasing day passes. Not many nice pools in Gueliz, so definitely a business opportunity!

Moro is a true gem! I feel like the photos advertising it donât do it justice. What a gorgeous and peaceful retreat. If you want to enjoy Marrakesh without having to weave your way in and out of the Medina and love art and beauty stay here! Additionally, it is mere minutes from the YSL museum and gardens. Honestly, this is the only place to stay. In fact, I changed my reservation for my last night in Marrakesh to Moro because it feels like family and I want to end my trip with their true kindness and hospitality !
Cons: The only challenge is at night there are not many good restaurants within walking distance otherwise I have nothing negative to say!

The hotel location is steps away from Jardins Majorelle and its busy shop street. The room was spacious and quirky, tastefully arranged, I really enjoyed the view from the window, it was beautiful in the morning. Breakfast was tasty and diverse, served on the terrasse. Its a must for a short stay! We only stayed one night to go and visit the gardens the following morning.

The courtyard is exceptional, the online pictures donât do it justice! The overall vibe of the hotel is very relaxed and we would recommend staying at this hotel rather than a Riad. The location is perfect and we loved our stay, would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech.

Beautiful boutique hotel that included the best concept store in Marrakech. The rooms were basically gorgeous apartments that faced a courtyard swimming pool right in the city near the Medina. It was also around the corner from the Yves Saint Laurent museum and the Jardin Majorelle in fact our room (no.207) backed onto the Majorelle Gardens and looked directly at YSL's private villa...unbelievable!

I love the location and the property itself. the rooms were clean, very modern and comfortable. the hotel isnât really a hotel but more like bedroom âapartmentâ except it doesnât have kitchens. one bedroom with bathroom downstairs and one bedroom upstairs with its own bathroom. very spacious. I highly recommend for families
Cons: the only one thing I didnât like was the strong cinnamon and orange scent because of my allergies. also, they donât have a formal reception but someone was there to assist. they could also give mint tea to guests in the morning since they offer no breakfast at all.
