Cons: La nostra camera disponeva di un bagno privato esterno raggiungibile dal balcone che dava sull’atrio e ciò ha comportato un minimo disagio, in particolare la mattina durante la colazione degli altri ospiti. Riad in posizione un po’ nascosta in una strada a fondo chiuso.

De riad heeft een leuke ligging aan de rand van de medina. Alle bezienswaardigheden liggen op loopafstand, al is het nemen van een taxi naar Jardin Majorelle (vergeet niet vooraf een tijdslot te boeken) wel aan te raden. De dames zijn super vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam. De accommodatie is ontzettend sfeervol, maar zou wel een kleine opfrisbeurt kunnen gebruiken. Al met al een fijne uitvalsbasis om het oude deel van Marrakech te verkennen.

The riad is very neat and cozy, the rooms are carefully cleaned every day. Great location - located in the Medina area, but there is absolutely no noise at night, so you can rest peacefully. Il nostro soggiorno è stato davvero ottimo. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e flessibile in base alle nostre esigenze (abbiamo chiesto per due mattine di fare la colazione alle 6:45) e inoltre abbiamo ricevuto un’ottima accoglienza al nostro arrivo con the e biscottini. Le foto sono molto attendibili.

Cons: Il riad si trova al fondo di una stradina isolata ma tranquilla e l’ingresso è un po’ internato, è stato solo un po’ complicato all’inizio da trovare.

Wir sind zwei Stunden vor Checkin angereist und wurden ohne weiteres sehr herzlich mit Tee und Keksen empfangen. Das Zimmer war auch schon bereit. Die Lage ist top, man ist direkt bei den Souks. Parfait pour 2 nuits . Le Riad est tenu par deux jeunes femmes souriantes ,serviables et discretes. La chambre correspondait tout à fait aux photos.Tres bon lit, oreillers corrects pour nous( c’était rare durant nos vacances). La salle de bain est assez sommaire .L’ensemble mériterait un rafraichissement mais reste confortable et est très propre.Nous avions un portant et des cintres, lampes de chevet, sèche cheveux…. Le petit déjeuner servi à l’heure souhaité était complet et vraiment très bon . Nous sommes partis très tôt , à 6h15 , avec un taxi réservé par les jeunes femmes du Riad qui ont eu la gentillesse de nous faire un café et brioche avant le départ.

-Géographiquement, c'est situé dans la médina. Il faut environ 10 à 15 minutes à pied pour rejoindre la place Jemaa El Fna. C’est pratique. -Personnel : elles sont très gentilles et accueillantes. Dès mon arrivée, elle m’a demandé si je voulais une bouteille d’eau — il faisait quand même 38 degrés ! -J’ai deux lits dans ma chambre, ils sont confortables. La chambre est propre et il y a tout ce qu’il faut. Elle est équipée d’une climatisation qui fonctionne très bien. -Nous avons chacun une clé pour la porte d’entrée. Ce n’est pas comme dans d'autres riads où quelqu’un doit rester devant la porte 24h/24. Ici, on rentre quand on veut et on ouvre la porte avec notre propre clé. C’est pratique et on se sent libre. -Dans le hall où nous prenons le petit déjeuner, il ne fait pas chaud ; l’endroit est bien isolé. Le quartier est très calme le soir.

Cons: Rien, à part deux petits lampadaires à côté du lit qui ne fonctionnent pas.

Absolument tout!! Les 2 soeurs qui tiennent le Riad sont simplement ADORABLES !! Aux petits soins , elles feraient tout pour nous satisfaire ! L'emplacement est dans une petite rue juste à côté d'une rue commerçante (souk) qui va jusqu'à la place Jemaa El Fna (15 min). Très calme ,riad très joli, propre, chambre de 4 spacieuse et confortable, clim et petit déjeuner très très bon et varié. Parking juste à côté moyennant 6€/24h en négociant 😉 Je recommande vivement ce riad et j'y reviendrai avec Plaisir, merci encore de nous avoir amener jusqu'à la navette ce matin et pour ce séjour ❤️

El trato recibido por las dueñas y el marido. Me recibieron con un te moruno y unas pastas. Y me arreglaron el aire acondicionado que se estropeó. Al día siguiente estaba listo. La ubicación es buena, esta en pleno zoco y atravesandolo llegas a la plaza principal. Si no me equivoco te ponen el desayuno aunque yo no lo tome xq nunca lo hago. Tienen servicio de traslados ida y vuelta al aeropuerto, aunque hay pagarlo. 15€ x trayecto.

Very good value for money. Nice and traditional riad and amazing staff. Good room with a big and comfortable bed, A/C and very well located. The host was extremely kind, she offered free tea and biscuits for the entire stay and she even kept our luggage for few days. I really recommend this as it s a very good value for money and you are in the middle of everything (shops, square for taxis and markets)

OMayma was an amazing host. She was very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. When we wanted it early, there was no problem. She did our laundry without any charge. We had a large, nice room. The shower had good pressure and hot water. It was nice to be a little away from the hustle and bustle of the main square. When going upstairs, we found the inconsistency in step height to be charming and fun, but it could be a problem for others.

It is a great place to stay in Marrakesh, a true island of quiet in the middle of the city's madness. The hosts were exceptionally kind and helpful. I highly recommend ordering breakfast here, you won't regret it. If we are back in Marrakesh, we'll definitely choose this place again. Arrived there and obviously didn't know anything about it until when they took us to the riad, and then the girl said this is the different riad as the one that we had booked it's faulty room?. Obviously I coild have complained but then getting there late I didn't have the energy to ask for a refund etc. The one we had stayed it was good, the people were polite and helpful.

The riad is in an amazing location! The ladies were incredible! They came to get us at the entrance to the medina. There was tea and biscuits waiting for us. They also helped us find a traditional Hamman, walked us there, and got us settled.

Breakfast was great! We stayed here for 10 days. Every day there was some small variations, mostly including freshly baked bread, pancakes, yoghurt, jam, tea, coffee and warm milk. The sweetest women run the riad. Cummincation was easy, they make breakfast between 08:00 and 10:00, but if you need it at another time, they're very accommodating. The location is right at the edge of the medina, close to everything. We did everything by foot.

It was a quiet Riad in the medina which was walkable to many of the key sites in Marrakech. The ladies who were running it (Fatima & Umaima) were friendly and helpful. We were given a complimentary welcome pot of mint tea and cookies. It was reasonable value for money. We felt safe there. The WiFi worked. The breakfast was good.

Cons: The taxi organised by the Riad was 15 Euros (significantly over the price of a normal taxi). It's quite difficult to find if it's your first time there, so booking the taxi through the Riad and having Fatima walk us to it from the road the taxi dropped us off at was essential. The rooms are in need of fixing & refurbishment (lamps broken, rails broken, bathroom very basic with either freezing or scalding water, broken tiles, etc). There is a smell of damp in the rooms. The pictures on the booking.com site may be older as it definitely feels like it needs updating. They asked for us to pay the taxi fare, tourist tax and breakfast cost in Euros rather than Moroccan dirhams (which we only had a limited amount of). I've put that it didn't meet my expectations as based on the reviews, my expectations were a bit higher.

Dar Mchicha is a lovely simple riad tucked away in a quiet location on the edge of the medina. It is not luxurious but has character and everything we wanted for a short stay. The two ladies who run the riad are exceptionally kind and helpful and provide wonderful breakfasts. They also arranged taxi transfers for us to and from the airport.

Cons: Just be aware that some rooms are accessed via quite narrow and steep stairs, but that was fine for us.

This is a nice classic riad type of hostel. Like in most places in Morocco your room will not have any windows. Otherwise most basic comforts like hot water are there. My room also had an heater that was very good in the winter time. They also have a tiny balcony upstairs. For 2 euros you get totally fine breakfast.

Breakfast was amazing we enjoyed a host of options from pancakes, bread, eggs, yogurt and so on. The staff were also amazing as we had to leave early on 2 of the days and they had breakfast prepared for us in no time and even gave us breakfast to take in a lunch box and bag. Location was great as we were right in the heart of the city. Just of one of the main streets to the square you would walk past lots of local stores and were only around a 5 to 10 minute walk from the main square. We had the terrace room and it was so peaceful up there we could play cards, have fun and watch the sun set on the Riads in the distance it was beautiful. Would 100% recommend and would definitely stay again, the staff were exceptional.

Very nice traditional Riad in the Old Town of Marrakesh. We had taxi arranged from and to the airport by the Riad. They also printed out our boarding passes. The breakfast was delicious, cooked by the lovely ladies running the hotel. The ladies are very nice and make you feel very welcomed and comfortable. We stayed in the room with the rooftop terrace. The bathroom was clean, the room is spacious, the mattress is firm and comfortable. We walked everywhere, we like to explore on foot. The Riad is in a quiet street off the busy souks. Excellent value for money. Great base to explore Marrakesh.

It was right in the heart of the Medina, many restaurants around, about 10 minutes from Jemaa el-Fnaa. Mostly, though, was the warm and comfortable environment—the sleeping cats, the lovely mid-afternoon mint teas, and the care with which my girlfriend and I were treated by everyone at the Riad. The hospitality was off-the-charts. Great breakfasts, too!!

Cons: There was a pane of glass missing from my bedroom window on the ground floor, meaning guests could actually see into my bedroom and me sleeping. The beds were uncomfortable, especially the single bed which was extremely uncomfortable. The walls were dirty. The place was extremely difficult to find, it is not well signposted and Google maps will not show you where it is - you will get lost believe me. I also had to cross a building site to get to the Riad. On the morning I was leaving when the workers were working, I had to cross a huge hole covered by planks which I nearly fell off of into the hole. Photo attached.

I ended up did not used any blanket because it was so ahrd, it was like a hard bed spread. So I was a bit cold at night. The hot water worked well with the sink. However, with the shower, you need to mix between hot and cold, so it is very hard to mixed the water in our room becasue somehow the hot pipe was running with very little water. Located near the gate of the medina, easy to get to the markets, the gate, near the main street to get taxi

Great location right in the heart of the souk yet super quiet at night. Breakfast was delicious and the owners were so nice and helped us get a taxi to the train station and put us in touch with the hot air balloon manager.

A very homely place with amazing hosts. It’s close to a taxi stand, restaurants etc and is walking distance from main attractions. The host is incredibly nice and helpful. I would recommend to use their airport pick up service so it’s easy for you to get to the place easily when you arrive for the first time in Medina.

Cons: Having a shower curtain would be nice.

Loved the little courtyard and the location was really good as well as it was in the Medina. Umaima (pretty sure I am spelling her name wrong) who is a staff at the Riad was extremely helpful. She took initiatives to make us feel super at home and we were really grateful for everything she did for us. We also loved the breakfast there!

Cons: I thought that the rug in the room was a too old so it made the room have an old rug smell to it. I think this can be easily fixed by replacing it or power washing the rug.

Super welcoming hosts who provided a very homely stay at Riad Mchicha. Sister / Brother team Umaima and Aziz provided a very professional service; Soon afetr check-in, Umaima very kindly provided a local medicinal drink for the little one who was suffering from the after-effect of travel sickness. Riad Mchicha is tucked away in a very quiet lane which is a plus+ from the hustle and bustle and, it is a very clean accomodation. The hosts provided an excellent and generous breakfast during our short stay. Home-made chocolate was loved by all

Cons: At times, the entrance area is in darkness as the sensory light did not come on. This is a very minor observation, not a criticism of the Riad.

The owner is such a great person, sweet, speaks many languages, helps you with everything literally, kind and generous. Breakfast was always do tasty and filling. Our room was great, with everything we needed. We arrived pretty late, yet he picked us up from the airport at good price, and gave us water and fruit. The location is perfect, just at the start of the zoco. I highly recommend the Riad Dar Mchicha 🤗

we stayed 5 nights at this riad. pick up from train station went smoothly. our room was a good size for the double bed but the added single made is a bit squashed. but we also had a small balcony outside our room which was nice. the shower was good but curtain for bathroom door. air conditioning good. beds firm and comfortable. Wi-Fi good. breakfast good. service good. quiet location with busy Medina at end of lane way. very comfortable stay.

Look no further! The location of this Riad is awesome, right in the medina, just 5-10 min from the big square and other main attractions like Palais Badii or Medresa Ben Youssef! The Riad is great, we had no problem at all with anything! The owners, Aziz and his sister are absolutelly amazing! Aziz is one of the nicest people we've ever met! He helped us with everything we needed, from booking a tour to Essaouira and a taxi to the airport to helping us purchasing online tickets to Majorelle Gardens! Also, the breakfast was super tasty every morning! Thank you guys for making us feel welcomed! We will definitely come back!

Aziz and company were wonderful hosts! Met us to lead us to the property, arranged transportation when needed, excellent breakfast with lots of options. Very hospitable and excellent value. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cons: The bathroom showed a lot of wear, and our shower sprayed all over the bathroom floor, but it's nothing a quick mop up with a towel couldn't resolve.

Cons: Was nice to have our own 'wing' but needing to leave the room and cross the hall to our private bathroom was a little odd. Owner collected city tax at very end when we were leaving making us a bit late for our taxi. Wd've been better to collect it on checkin.

The quiet location, but still central to the Medina. It was a beautiful, quiet and calm place. I felt immediately at home and relaxed there. Our flight was really late, and delayed but nobody seemed even slightly put out and we were still welcomed with a smile. The building is beautiful. Breakfast delicious and plentiful. I definitely would like to stay here again.

Lovely warm welcoming authentic little place. The owner couldn’t be more helpful and his staff very attentive. The room came with its own balcony area and showed and toilet. There was a roof top terrace very basic but somewhere nice to relax.For the price it was amazing. breakfast great too. would go back for sure

once you find the Riad the location is very central. it is very homely and operated as such. The young woman that greeted us, helped us settle, also made us breakfast (very early) and was very helpful generally, always with a wide smile.

Cons: struggling to think of negatives. it’s a personal preference- it is a Riad, and close to the bustling medina.

It was a fantastic experience staying at Riad Dar Mchicha. Omemma is great host and she was very helpful. Upon check in I was welcomed with sweets and hot tea. The rooms are big, clean and very comfortable. The riad is located behind the main street so it is very calm and peaceful at the accommodation. The dining area is beautifully decorated with plants and there is also a small sitting area on terrace.

Aziz and his family were very good hosts! We felt at home really fast and we loved to eat breakfast in the beautiful patio. wifi worked great and everything was clean.

Cons: the door to our room didn‘t really close and you couldn‘t lock it either, but we felt very safe anyways. Plus it was the second floor room, with no other rooms on the same level, so privacy wasn‘t an issue.
