Emma's Riad is beautifully decorated, super clean and in a great location for exploring Marrakech on foot. Rashida was a wonderful host and really cares that the guests are happy. I felt safe staying there as a solo female traveller. The breakfast of crepes, fresh coffee, bread and jams was perfect.
Cons: The only thing that would have improved the stay is a nicer roof terrace and a pool for relaxing.

Cons: Only one person to manage everything (reception, breakfast, rooms), it means delay in everything. The common areas were very cold, heating not fully working. We ask for a triple room and the additional bed was a simple mattress on the floor ! Price was triple than other much better Riad in Marrakech in same week. Experience was very bad.

My coworker and I stayed for 4 nights in Emma's Riad following our business trip. Breakfast was served between 8 and 11 am, and Rachida, our housekeeper, made sure to confirm with us daily the time that we wanted to have breakfast every day. The breakfast menu was mainly bread and carbohydrates, but I guess that was the typical Moroccan breakfast. Rachida was very helpful and tried her best to meet our needs, although she did not speak English very well. However, she speaks Arabic and French fluently. Overall, the location of Emma's Riad is superb for us, as the majority of the main attractions in Marrakesh are within a tolerable walking distance, except the Jardin Majorelle, which was quite far, and we had to book a taxi. Fortunately, taxi areas and taxi drivers are always around in the area. The riad and its room are well-maintained, comfortable and clean. Overall, we are very happy with our stay in Emma's Riad and our trip to Marrakesh.

Perfect location in the heart of the Medina. A beautifully decorated, large room with a comfortable bed. The maid was always on hand for help
Cons: Unfortunately, the TV didn't work! More privacy in the bathroom would have been ideal, as it is separated from the bedroom with a partial screen and swinging doors

Emma's Riad was a lovely home nestled in the old medina with beautiful decor and exteriors. The room was small, but was tastefully decorated, with a comfy bed and linens. The whole establishment was super clean which we loved, and the bathroom had fluffy spa robes. The hosts Rashida and Fatima were wonderful, although communication was a little difficult as we did not speak French, and they did not speak English or Spanish, but we managed well. We even asked them for laundry service and they gracefully accepted for a small extra fee. The internet connection was fabulous; I was working remotely for two days and did not have any issues at all; a huge plus. We found the location of the Riad to be wonderful; it is nestled away in a neighborhood where you get to walk through the authentic town and see all the true daily happenings, but close enough the all the main attractions - a leisurely stroll of just 10/15 minutes will take you right into the heart of the medina. We found it easy to reach everywhere by foot or take taxis just outside the Kasbah. Rashida also waited for us to arrive late in the night and helped us hail a taxi to the train station when we were getting ready to leave.
Cons: After staying in a lot of different Riads, we found the breakfast here to be the most disappointing. While they serve the traditional Moroccan breakfast of breads and semolina pancakes with butter, jam, honey, yogurt, and coffee, we were surprised we did not receive eggs or any sort of protein that usually accompanies the meal. Perhaps there was the option to order something else but we were not made aware of the option. We ended up taking breakfast outside most of the days which was ok because we liked to explore other places. My suggestion for this riad, especially acknowledging the language barrier, would be to print an optional menu available upon request, as we felt the general breakfast to be a bit scarce and with little variation. Additionally, our room in particular had a deep tub in the bathroom with no option for a standing shower, which was a little bit difficult to get in and out of (I traveled with my mom who is 70 years old).

Emma's Riad was exceptional, the place was absolutely stunning, quiet and comforting as well as the staff were incredibly helpful. Rasheeda helped me so much there to find restaurants and even medicine when I caught a cold she took care of me so much as well as the breakfast that she prepares is out of this world. I'd definitely recommend staying in this Riad.

Emma’s Riad was delightful. Upon our late arrival, we were warmly welcomed with mint tea and Moroccan biscuits. Our room was very clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. We were provided a lovely breakfast every morning at our requested time - this was even pleasantly accommodated when we had an early excursion. Despite our limited French, the staff at Emma’s Riad were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The Riad is conveniently located within walking distance of all major sites and the roof terrace offers beautiful views of the sunset. We would highly recommend Emma’s Riad.
Cons: The hot water takes a little while to kick-in in the morning.

Emma's Riad is run by the most beautiful family who go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The service is exceptional, as is the food, and helpfulness of the family. I was taken ill at one point and not only did Fatima arrange for my transport to the hospital, she came along with me as well to make sure that I was OK and to help translate with the doctors. I can't wait to visit Emma's Riad again, it truly is a fantastic place.

As other reviews say: the staff is nice and breakfast is good (but it's just a typical Moroccan breakfast, don't expect anything more than bread and sweet spreads). And the biggest plus: the bed was comfortable!
Cons: First, the location. Yes, it's quite close to major attractions but unpleasant. There is almost no isolation between rooms so you hear everything happening around you, I know it's a common problem for Riads but it was very uncomfortable hearing other people being violently sick. The bathroom door solution is very strange. You can sit on the toilet and look at someone sitting on the bed. Maybe we were there during the wrong time but the place just didn't feel very cozy.

Nothing.
Cons: Prior to our arrival I asked them if a gluten free breakfast was possible. They told me yes, but it was an additional charge of €15,-… In Marrakech this is crazy!!! Around 157DH is practically a 3 course diner here. So, I asked what the regular breakfast includes ( I would be fine with an egg and fruit ) but I received NO response. When arriving, we were greeted by a hostess who could only speak French… So, when I tried to explain my food situation she did not understand a thing. Disappointed we went to our room, to find a very old dated room, cables everywhere and a TV that did not work. I would definitely not recommended this stay. Price / quality does not match. 1000DH a night is really expensive here so you could definitely go somewhere for this amount of money. Overall, really bad and happy we only had to stay here for 1 night….

This Riad was wonderful, the bed was so comfortable and luxurious. The smaller room was perfect for a solo traveller, it was clean and more than comfortable. The aesthetics were well thought out and the breakfast was very tasty and generous. I arrived late and the taxi driver took me right to the door where the staff welcomed me warmly. I would love to stay here again!

The property itself was quite nice, comfortable and clean. With only a few rooms available the building was also quite quiet. It was a good value for money for the time that we spent there. Overall the accommodation was quite unique and it was certainly worth staying there.

The hostess was lovely, very attentive and overall made our stay pleasant.
Cons: The property was ideally located close to major sight seeing locations (Saadian Tombs, Badi Palace, Bahia Palace) which was incredibly convenient. However, the ~5 minutes surrounding the property were shady at night and uncomfortable during the day, making the walk unpleasant (will note nothing happened)

The staff and the owner were friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcomed.Beds and pillows were comfortable. Rooms are clean. Great location, in walking distance to Jemaa El Fnaa which we enjoyed doing almost every evening. Close to tour pick up spots when we have a tour activity.
Cons: One has to realize that after last year’s earthquake, lots of damage has occurred in Riad Emma’s neighborhood so these neighbors are rebuilding which could look like a mess and creates noise when the work resumes in the morning after 9.

Very beautiful Riad hidden within the walls of old Marrakesh, in a traditional setting of street vendors dotted around a labyrinth of artisanal, windy, foot paths. This is the real Marrakesh, with very few tourists and a buzzing local population who always greeted us with a smile. Nobody judged anybody, we were all just people getting along with our day. The staff, most notably Rachida, were incredibly welcoming and attentive, baking us fresh Moroccan breads every day for breakfast, and informing us of places to see and visit. The streets of this neighbourhood are littered with feral cats, who are taken care of by the locals, and who keep the pest populations under control. Zero rats, zero cockroaches, but loads of bicycles and dilapidated scooters buzzing too and fro in this old-time setting. Wonderful experience all around!

The little riad is looked after in every single detail. The person that makes this experience so outstanding is Rachida which helps in everything she can with a smile on her face. Breakfast is a ritual made of Moroccan jams and delicacies. The place is extremely clean and functional, nicely located just next to the Saadian tombs and easy to reach by taxi too. Surrounded by local shops and restaurants you would get the true experience.
Cons: Maybe the water pressure could be stronger and some smaller coloured windows could do with a curtain.

If you ever have the honour of being taken care of by madame Rachida, you'll know what it is to truly have a host that cares about you. She was magnificent to my wife and me. The breakfasts, the Moroccan tea on the roof terras and the tips and guidance she gave us were unparalleled. Furthermore, the hygiene was very good. Not a dirty spot to see in the entire riad, which is an important condition for us to stay anywhere. Lastly, madame Rachida has a lot of knowledge about the city and excursions around the city. She can get you on excursions for a great price, so I'd use her network.
Cons: The only thing that I could think of that could improve (and keep in mind, I'm nitpicking now; our stay was magnificent), was the length of the showerhose. Let me explain: the shower has a retractable showerhose that retracts back into the wall (from about knee height, because the shower retracts right above the top of the bathtub; you shower standing in the bathtub). I'm a fairly tall guy (1.93m/6'4), so the showerhose does not reach all the way to the top of my head. If I had to pick something that could use improvement,, it would be that. Nothing much else that could be improved. Overall we had a great experience in Riad Emma!
