Il Riad ci ha organizzato una gita di mezza giornata con guida che parlava italiano, nonostante la festa religiosa

The room was very clean and the breakfast was very nice and enjoyable every morning.

Cons: There were only 6 sun loungers and on a hot sunny day there wasn’t enough for the guests. The alley way to get to the riad was dark and unwelcoming and felt a little unsafe when we arrived with no sign the riad was down there. I honestly don’t know if I’d have found it without google maps. Then once we arrived check in was strange and no information was provided about room cleaning or how to lock our room door or access the wifi, so we had to ask for both. At night it was often pretty noisy with people ringing the doorbell or knocking multiple times to get in and some other guests were arguing in another language one night for nearly an hour disturbing our sleep.

Hafed è stato estremamente gentile, accogliente e sempre disponibile. Grazie a tutto lo staff siamo stati benissimo e la colazione era sempre fantastica. Il posto era molto bello e pulito. Abbiamo avuto un’esperienza perfetta :) Anche grazie a Hamid che ci ha portato ovunque e è stato super simpatico e gentile.

De gastheer ontving ons goed, met een heerlijk kopje thee en een koekje. Ze zijn daar sowieso allemaal super vriendelijk. De kamer was netjes, ze maakte elke dag schoon. Het was niet heel groot, maar prima. Het ontbijt was fantastisch! Het zwembad kon je lekker in dompelen als het te heet werd. De ligbedjes waren goed. Zou het zeker aanraden!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo riad durante il nostro viaggio a Marrakech ed è stata un’esperienza davvero bellissima, che porterò nel cuore. La struttura è accogliente, curata nei dettagli e situata in una posizione perfetta: a due passi dalla splendida piazza Jemaa el-Fna, ma allo stesso tempo in una zona tranquilla, ideale per rilassarsi dopo le giornate intense nella città. Un ringraziamento speciale va ad Afed, che ci ha seguito con grande disponibilità, gentilezza e professionalità. Ci ha fatto sentire sempre a casa, consigliandoci al meglio e rendendo il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. La colazione era davvero ottima, abbondante e ricca di sapori locali, un momento che ogni mattina aspettavamo con piacere. Anche le escursioni organizzate sono state ben strutturate e ci hanno permesso di vivere esperienze autentiche e indimenticabili. Consiglio questo riad a chiunque voglia vivere Marrakech in modo autentico, con il calore e l’attenzione che fanno davvero la differenza.

The atmosphere is calm and intimate — a perfect escape from the busy streets of the Medina. The rooftop terrace is absolutely amazing. It’s spacious, stylish, and offers the perfect spot to unwind, drink tea, or simply enjoy the Marrakech sun. I spent a lot of time there because it truly feels like a peaceful oasis above the city. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. Every morning it was abundant, fresh, and incredibly tasty — a generous selection of local pastries, fruit, eggs, pancakes, fresh juices, and more. You can tell everything is prepared with care. I want to give a special mention to Hafed, the manager, who is simply outstanding. His hospitality is on another level — warm, professional, and always attentive. He checked in regularly to make sure everything was perfect, provided great recommendations, and helped with anything I needed, from transportation to local tips. His kindness made the stay feel personal and memorable. You can tell he truly cares about the guests and the riad. The location is ideal: close to the main attractions, easy to reach, yet quiet enough to rest peacefully at night. Overall, ELARCO Rooftop Riad is a gem in Marrakech. Our stay was simply amazing. All praise for Hafet our host what a truly great guy, nothing was too much trouble he makes it a home away from home. The Riad is beautiful, clean and cool and an oasis away from the crazy Medina which this Riad is located. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious . The roof terrace is calm and relaxing and the plunge pool is welcome in the scorching heat. The small touches were exceptional from the sunhats on the roof for you to use to the dates, fruit and water in the rooms, these little touches were very well received. They provide bottled water everyday and the housekeeping is fantastic. There is a TV in the room if you would like to use this and a great air conditioning unit, which again was very welcome. Don't be afraid of booking a stay in the Medina any tours or taxi's can get in and pick up you, you just have to walk 5 mins to any collection points it's really easy. Walking around the streets is magical and I highly recommend a traditional Riad for a more authentic Morrocan experience. Which you just don't get if you stay outside in a big hotel. We never used the Spa as our trip was action packed and we simply didn't have time, but it looked calming and the spa rooms were beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay, location is good and very close to all the action but just far enough away that you don't have the street noise inside. The property itself is nicely renovated while keeping alot of its original charm. Breakfast was good, plenty of it but repetitive. Room was a good size and the separate room with twin beds for our 2 boys was well appreciated by them.

Cons: The property is under staffed ! The first 2 days one of the apparently many tour groups from Italy were staying ( it featured in an Italian tv show ) and honestly we were not well catered for. We were made to wait for some time to check in despite arriving after check in time, the noise from the group was unacceptable till late in the evening and the property echos the noise to an intolerable level. Then on our first morning there was no allocated space for us to have breakfast an so were placed on the terrace that while lovely, our wait again was long and it reinforced that other groups were given priority. Its not to say we didn't enjoy our stay but we would try one of the many other options for comparison if we were to visit again. TV was also not working in room and no real attempt to fix was made, not really an issue but again shows lack of attention to details.

Cons: The room was very basic, the bathroom was small, with a need of renovation, sink in the shower didn;t work, a bit shabby. The TV in the kids room was not plugged in, with cable hanging from the TV, and coudln;t make it work. We travel beginning of March, it was still cold and humid and same were the rooms. We arrived late in the evening and it would have been good to find room warm and dry, after a full day in the rain. I would expect that from an hotel that of this category. I might understand that it is not full season yet, but the SPA, or supposedly, had the door open, witha massage bed in it and another matress laying on a wall,, terrace was dirty. Overall, if you are having guests, they shall profit for a fully functioning anf clean premises all the time.

We enjoyed our two-night stay. Huge praise for the staff—very kind and welcoming. We arrived quite late, yet we were still greeted with warm smiles, which we truly appreciated. The rooms are modern, clean, and well-maintained. The housekeeping staff tidied up every day with great care, and we are very grateful for that. Breakfast was satisfying; while breakfasts in Moroccan Riads are generally not very abundant, we found this one to be more generous than in other places we stayed. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and are especially grateful to Hafet for his hospitality!

This is a beautiful place to stay in the heart of the Medina, only a short walk to the main square. Whilst you are in the bustle of Marrakech, inside the walls of the Riad is quiet and calm. All the staff were welcoming and kind and very helpful - especially our host, Hafed who was able to give advice and guidance about things to do and see in the city. Breakfasts were excellent. The room was spotless and cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding and bottled water. The Riad became our little home from home.

The staff are lovely and really helpful - they helped organise our taxi to and from the airport which was super handy. The Riad staff kindly helped us carry our bags and bring us to/ From the taxi which was great as we didn’t know what direction we were going in/to. The location is great as it’s not too far away from the Medina and the Souks. The Riad feels really safe and the beds are really comfortable. The Riad is beautiful too!

After a very stressful beginning to our holiday with the tour operator Riad having no record of our booking, we quickly had to book somewhere to stay for the duration of our trip, so we took a gamble on this place. Our experience here completely transformed our holiday, this accommodation and the staff provided us with a calm and peaceful haven to be able to come and relax after a day of sight seeing and immersing ourselves in the culture of Marrakesh. I would recommend everyone to choose a Riad instead of a large generic hotel when coming to Marrakesh, the service at Riad El Arco was second to none, the staff provided a 5 star service, ensuring that all of our needs were met, the facilities and breakfast were lovely, the help and tips for navigating the Souks and testing out our haggling skills came in very handy! Extra note - the owner of Riad El Arco even comes to meet you at the taxi drop off, to help you to find his accommodation amongst the maze of winding streets of Marrakesh, this is extremely useful, as the Riads are always tucked away behind the bustling street markets.

Positive: - the location was very good, in the medina, but not in the heart of it where it’s super noisy and crowded. Believe me, you don’t want to be right in the heart of the medina - it was very clean, they were cleaning the rooms every single day - the staff was very helpful and warm - the room is spacious enough and the bed was confortable

The staff couldn't do enough for us. The location is great. You need to make sure you are met by a guide on arrival to the medina as its very busy and lively and you won't find the Riad on your own the first time. The breakfast was lovely. We would have liked more fruit and maybe cereal or yoghurt as one of our party has gluton intolerance but the staff accommodated our every wish. The spa treatments are fabulous.

Cons: We found that the Wifi was not that good in places. The swimming pool is more of a plunge pool.

Fantastic riad in the middle of Medina. The staff were amazing including the Riad manager, housekeeping and everyone. They offer homemade delicious food that must be ordered. Breakfast was fully loaded. Even though we got up super late they still served us breakfast. So nic of them.

My friend and I had a lovely stay at Riad El Arco! A tastefully decorated riad, with a beautiful rooftop terrace great for relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location - right in the middle of everything but also tucked away from the main street so no noise in the riad at night. The rooms were clean and we were provided new towels everyday. Breakfast was nice and they catered for my dietary requirements. Overall great stay and would come back again if I return to Marrakech 😊

Very cosy and clean room in a riad just 5 min walk from the main square. Very good breakfast and dinner. The riad has a spa, where we had an amazing Berber ritual (60€ per 1 h treatment). Nice terrace with a small pool. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

Cons: Our room was at the ground floor, and unfortunately, if you find unpolite guests (like we did) it can be noisy.

Amazing place to stay during your holiday. The whole team is extremely caring and always there to help with anything you need. I’m glad I chose this riad, as my stay in Morocco wouldn’t be as great without it. Rooms are beautifully decorated, food is always very good for both breakfast and dinner, and spa was wonderful:)

Osama, our host, was superb. Incredibly helpful at all times. The property was beautiful, the rooftop pool a huge bonus. We didn't get the chance to try the hammam/spa unfortunately though this looked very tranquil. Breakfast was really delicious. Location was excellent, a ten minute walk into the main square. Highly recommended and we'd definitely stay here again.

Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel in the old city. Be aware hotel in not accesible by car (when planning travel from and to the aerport or booking the excursions by car you would need to walk app. 10minutes to the meeting point). Very helpful and kind stuff ready to help with information, making local phone calls, even preparing breakfast early when needed. Breakfast is tasty with more then enough food served, but not the buffet style so every day the same that gets boring. No fresh fruit offered for breakfast, you can order it for extra charge.

The Ryad is charming and is very close (5 minutes walking) to djeema el fna square. The breakfast is nice and the host Osama is very friendly and super attentive. On the last day we had to leave very early and he prepared us the breakfast for us to take away.

Nice cosy riad 500 metres from Jemma el fna, quiet and extremely friendly manager of riad and staff, especially Usama. Enjoyed our staying. You can have arranged dinner and hammam with message in riad. However, we haven't tried it as we were spending most of the time in Medina.

Cons: It's quiet from outside however not that soundproof walls inside.

Cons: Our room was not what i booked! We got a very basic room with none of the room amenities mentioned in the booking.No rooftop pool. It looked like a building site and was not open as the pool was empty. If I had known about this I would of booked somewhere else. Breakfast dictated how much you ate, there was no bread and no yoghurt or fruit, and only just enough coffee for 1 cup each. I booked this place as a bit of luxury for the end of a busy holiday and it dissapointed us.

Excellent breakfast. The fresh orange juice and fresh cut fruits was awesome. The staff went out of their way to get us breakfast ready the last day even though we left by 7AM. The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist. They arranged to get taxis (billed to the room) and were all around so helpful for all our needs. The Riad is located in an narrow side alley within the medina and a bit away from main roads and noise.

Cons: We arrived during the busy part of the day (10pm new years eve), and our taxi was not able to get within 3-4 blocks of the hotel since the streets very narrow and extremely crowded. As we were arriving, there was a scuffle in the crowded street with cops wrestling 3-4 folks. This made us even more uneasy as we had to carry our luggage down the narrow and crowded cobblestone streets.

We had an idillic stay at Riad El Arco. The location is super central yet extremely quiet once inside, like an oasis in the middle of vibrant Marrakesh. The room was beautiful, as was the Riad itself. Breakfast was delicious and very abundant, we also had dinner on our last night and the food was superb. Everyone working there is super helpful, friendly, going above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. We’ll definitely be back, couldn’t recommend more!

Cons: The pool water was cold and dirty. We were unable to use it. The condition of it was poor. This was very disappointing because the room was a lot more expensive than other on the marked but I was willing to pay more because of the pool. I have booked double room with TV and balcony. When arrived, they showed me a small room with double bed without TV and windows even. They simply said they don't have other option for the night, which put us in the position of nowhere to go with the child at night or stay in unwanted room. I asked if they can reduce the price, they refused. Only after I decided to leave, they suddently found a double room with TV and a window at least.

Riad is wonderful, aestetic, clean, on good locatoion with wonderful hosts Hasan and everyone else from El Arco team. We are thankful we could spend a whole week there, we felt welcomed and riad was a great place to relax in this wonderful but wild city :)!!! We also suggest hamam in riad and dinner.

Cons: There is only one thing we did not like - it was the pool. It is so small and water in it was not clean. But everything else was so perfect, so it is ok. 🙏🏼

The host, Houssain and other staff were incredible. Very welcoming, homely enviroment. You felt cared for and valued,nothing was too much trouble. He gave extrmely good advice regarding the area we were staying and places we may like to explore. Food and hospitality sensational.
