Clean accommodation, quiet neighbourhood
Cons: Poor location, far from Medina. Room did not have a light inside and was dark. Had to use my cell phone torch to get ready. No door for the bathroom, just a curtain. Poor drainage system. AC not working. Breakfast was poor. Just bread and jams. Everything was cold. Coffee was horrible. Orange juice was fine. Poorest WiFi. Overall poor facilities and definitely not worth the money.

Helpful and friendly staff. They were doing their best for us. It was clean, even if it's rather hard to clean such old rooms. It was also very warm inside our rooms despite the night cold outside. The water in the shower was also very hot all the time. The Riad looks really authentic, with a lot of old traditional furniture and decor.
Cons: The place needs repairs. Walls and floors are in a very poor condition and it's clear that nobody takes care of them. The location is not very comfortable, we had to walk 20-30 min to all the main sights. But the street is quiet and rather clean. Photos on Booking don't show the real condition of the place.

The building was Moroccan style with a central patio, where the breakfast takes place. Breakfast was amazing, with fruit, pastries and moroccan tea & coffee. The owner was always taking care of the guests.
Cons: Location, even if it was not in the city center, it was a nice area. The hotel was surrounded by many shops and little cafes. The bad thing was the noise, there was light and noise coming from outside.

I needed somewhere in the area & Riad Mina had a booking available. Good sized room with a comfortable bed. The aircon above bed was great. Basic no frills riad which did the job. I was able to store things in the kitchen fridge. Only had breakfast on 1 morning, it was okay.
Cons: My room got cleaned & and the door padlock was left unlocked, thankfully no issues. The booking.com pictures are dated. English was not understood by riad manager, so there was a bit of communication barrier. I had to pay in cash, no credit card facilities at the property.

The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming.
Cons: We received a ground floor room which had one tiny window opening to the inside of the riad. The place felt and looked mouldy, considering zero ventilation to the room. The plugs were lamps falling out of the wall, you could see the cables coming out. There was one mat in front of the bed which seemed dirty. The room didn’t have a door, it was only separated from the entrance hall by a curtain, the curtain rails were so loosely attached to the wall that when we tried to close the curtains, it almost fell to our heads. The bathroom and shower was dirty, the shower head was leaking on the top spraying water everywhere. The breakfast which was included in the price was also bad, since we only received some type of bread, butter and jam. So we ended up going to a breakfast cafe to get some normal food in, which defeated the purpose of booking a place with breakfast included. Apart from the staff I really don’t have anything good to say about this place.

Riad itself is on a beautiful street. Beautiful building, and there were no other guests.
Cons: Pricing did not have special tourism tax included. Also, charged us for 7 people although it was only six of us. Only form of payment is cash, still waiting for some form of receipt. We felt very unsafe going home from the taxi station, as had trouble from a local in a dark alleyway twice in 3 days. We did not feel any of the famous Moroccan hospitality from our host. He took over the living room, even sleeping there and barely talked to us. It was too much to ask if our breakfast could to be saved for our dinner. Not sure why, as it was bread, jam, honey and pancakes and fruits.

It was so authentic. Calm & peaceful. Breakfast was fresh & served when required (fruit, bread, jams, croissant, pancake, tea) Open roof in central courtyard(could see the sky). Roof terrace (sofa, chairs, sun loungers with cushions.) Clean sheets & towels daily. Comfy bed. Could hear the birds.
Cons: The bathroom could have been better. Only a pump dispenser shower gel nothing more. Several Cockroaches in bedroom but hey it's Morocco. You need to get a taxi into town 50dhrm/5€ but taxis always available nearby. No supermarket of any kind closeby. Hardly any eating places near accomodation. Best was the tiny little bar with straw seats & sombreros in Bab Taghzout such a kind man & food was delicious.

- The Riad felt extremely authentic. - Breakfast was lovely - The size of the room was spacious, there was a double and a single with room to move. As this was aground floor room no natural light and not enough lighting in the room.

Thé staff were wonderful and very kind and helpful.
Cons: The actual place we stayed was not the one we booked because we were told the other was being repaired. It was fine but it would have been nice to have been told in advance.becaue of that) we had booked a room with two beds) we were given two rooms , not near each other. The heat did not work in my daughters room, so she was very cold. The showers are hand held which made it hard to stay warm while showering. Fine the price, this was disappointing.

Our host Omar was amazing and went well above expectations by making sure my group of friends felt comfortable and safe. Omar would accomodate all our needs by even making breakfast earlier in the mornings and insisting that we eat. He also personally walked us to the main town to ensure we knew how to get back safely. This place is beautiful and is great value for your money but the host is what made this experience memorable . I would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful traditional Riad in a quiet area. Stunning features. We both grew to like the local, hectic area nearby. All the staff were friendly & helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at Riad Mina! We booked the place last minute and the owner, Pierre, together with his team went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our stay unforgettable. Riad Mina is a great property, well located just outside the hustle and bustle of the Medina, but within close walking distance to all the attractions. The rooms are nicely decorated and cosy, there's a great rooftop overlooking the city and the breakfast is excellent. Pierre and Omar were impeccable, always friendly and happy to help; they really made us feel at home. Everything was great and we look forward to our next stay at Riad Mina! Thank you so much Pierre, it was an awesome adventure!!

The room was comfortable, clean, authentic and the breakfast was nice. Also the personnel was caring and warm. If someone is looking for an authentic hotel near old Medina area, i would recommend it.
Cons: The location of the hotel may be not suitable for some tourists. When you are walking from the nearby square to the hotel, sometimes you have to avoid local people because they try to start a dialogue but if you keep walking they don’t bother you.

The property is a little difficult to find the first time but that is fine as someone from the property will arrange to meet you in the nearby square and take you there. It is about 25 minutes walk from the main square which could be an issue for some but it means the property is quieter and that you are in a far more genuine medina setting away from the tourist shops. It is also on the right side of the medina to walk to the Majorelle gardens and it is near to the Limoni restaurant which is well worth a visit. Breakfast is good, other meals can be booked and there is a rooftop sitting area when you want a break from the hubbub of the city. The staff were lovely.

Pierre and Omar hosts were very nice and friendly and helped us with everything. Gave tips and tricks to what to do in Marrakech etc. Omar picked us up the second day when we got lost in the Medina. Room and breakfast was nice, the roof terrace was very nice also.
Cons: Only minor things such as room not being 100% soundproof, the door was noisy and the bathroom was a bit smelly which I assume was from the sink not having a water locket. Not anything that would keep us from coming back.

The breakfast was great. Omar helped us make the most enjoyable stay in the Medina. He walked us to get a local Sim Card, to a great Moroccan restaurant near by and helped us with other things. He has such a good heart! Omar also made us breakfast very early morning on the day we left. We recommend staying there to get a good local experience.
Cons: The room was a bit smelly from the bathroom, just because there are only small windows to the inside of the Riad, so no fresh air could circulate.

It was warm at night, nice decor. Quiet and Omar was very kind to offer us tea upon our late arrival.
Cons: The location of the Riad is correct on Google maps, however the route indicated to get to it, leads to a dead end. It may be useful to notify Google to update the directions to avoid guests getting lost (and scammed)

the location was perfect, just far out enough that it wasn’t at all loud in the area, but a very short walk from anywhere we wanted to go. All the staff were great, very friendly and helpful and made sure we were happy. Taxis were called and recommendations made when we needed/asked for them. could not have asked for better hosts. the breakfasts were excellent, and the price was great!
