The staff was super helpful and friendly, never felt more cared for at a hotel before, you were treated as family. The rooms was lovely and nice bathroom and breakfast was great !

Cons: The noise from the pool was quite loud, especially if you was on the ground floor, but it wasn’t too much problem for us, this isn’t the Riads fault but our first experience getting to the Riad was quite overwhelming with young boys following us and asking us if we needed help but just use the taxi company that the hotel provides and you’ll be fine !

Everything was beyond perfect with our stay here. The rooms are very clean, the whole riad is just like in the picture but also extremly quiet and relaxing. The staff is amazing. They are so helpful with everything you need, inside the riad or outside. But what makes this experience completly unique is the food!!!! My god the food!!!! We had dinner every night -4 dinner in totals and each one was absolutely delicious. We also had the same dishes around town at more expensive and well known restaurant and it was no match for Mrs. Saida food! She is the best cook and we highly recommend if you chose to stau here please please try her food! For us it was a wholesome experience and the best accomodation possible for Marrakech❤️

Le personnel est au petit soin. Ils sont vraiment tous très gentils et accueillants. Toujours à l’écoute et ouvert à la discussion. La cuisine de Saida est incroyable. C’est un riad familial. Quite possibly the best place I have ever stayed. Beautiful inside and the staff are the absolute best! The food was amazing, definitely have an evening meal here. Breakfast is small but fresh, you won’t need much more. All of the staff are so accommodating, assisting us with taxis, recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The Riad itself is just beautiful, so clean and quiet. I think it was full when we stayed but it felt like we were the only ones there. We’re already looking at when we can come back, if you’re considering this place, just book it.

This was a really amazing and pleasant stay. Gentleman who was running the place was really sweet and very very helpful with everything. This was a great experience and great stay!

The rooms are large and nicely decorated. Breakfast was also very good and overall the Riad is very modern and well designed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We also had dinner at the Riad once and it was really good. They made me a vegetarian dish on request and it was the best vegetarian tagine I have had in Morocco.

Cons: Unfortunately, the location not good, especially in the evenings there are many young men out and about trying to scam tourists. We had a trip to Ouzoud waterfalls organised through the riad, as we had received information about it in a message beforehand. Unfortunately, the prices were not the same as they had been quoted, even the basic price was €7 more, and during the trip we also had to pay extra for guides and boat rides, which were included with other providers.

Mohammed was the best night host!

Cons: We were given a key to lock our room and when we returned our whole room was open including windows out to the lobby. Didn't feel very secure. The younger woman cleaning made us feel like we were suspicious people. The 2 women that served breakfast weren't the most hospitable. Breakfast was lame compared to the other riads we stayed at. No fruit, yogurt or eggs, just breads. Flies all over in eating area. Couldn't communicate very well with English speaking guests. Upper deck was run down and falling apart. Quite far from square but we were used to navigating the Medina. I'd choose another riad next time, one that makes you feel welcomed, not a burdened. Looking back, the reviews I based my decision to stay there were from a couple years ago, most recent reviews weren't so good.

Very friendly staff. Very kind. Very nice breakfast. Clean hotel. Nice decorations.

Cons: The surrounding area wasn’t great. Being in the madina doesn’t guarantee safety. The first half mile between Jemma El fnna square and Riad is very nice with lots of souks. The second half is very different. No tourists about. Locals trying to scam you. Scary at night. There are two ways, one involves going through a mosque court yard. We were forced to pay someone to walk us round. The other way we got confronted and encircled by people on bikes insisting the route was closed (it wasn’t) and trying to scam us out of money to take us a different route. This was scary.

Small riad with a family atmosphere in the less touristy part of the medina, about 25 minutes' walk from the Jemaa el-Fnaa. Very quiet location and nicely furnished. The roof terrace invites you to relax and there is a pool in the courtyard. The staff are available around the clock and are always helpful, discreet, friendly and solution-oriented. Wi-Fi is stably available. The included breakfast is lovingly served a la table; it was fresh pancakes & brioche with various marmalades and honey. Fresh fruit and vegetables would have been a welcome addition for me personally. It would be nice if there was drinking water in the riad, but there is also a small store just around the corner where you can buy supplies.

Positive things about this Riad, Simple but nice decore Firm comfortable bed Mohammad was amazing, helpful, friendly and kind. A asset to the Riad and the only good thing about the place.

Cons: This Riad is the worst I have ever been to and I have stayed in over 5 Riads in the last 4 years. Riad is to far from Medina and Main square and is a 40/50minute walk or 20mins in taxi which is 20 euros, unless. You download taxi app. Riad is very hard to find and is in a very scary area that feels unsafe in the evening to travel around or get back to riad. We saw minimal women in this part of town, it's like a town of only men. The worst part about this Riad experience is and was the two female staff. ie the two. GOATS. One day we returned to the Riad but nobody answered the Door after ringing door bell for 5mins we got no answer, so I held the door bell down (as I knew the two cleaners were there), the younger female came to the door shouting and cussing in Arabic. ( which my daughter understands) We tried to explain that we couldn't get in but she spoke no English or French. She then went and told the older lady who spent 5 minutes cussing in Arabic in the kitchen for all to hear. These two women were a complete nightmare. From we arrived we were constantly bullied by the older female to pay for the tax. We also had a drinks bill to pay which we were going to pay before we left, which is common in every in hotel and Riad alike, you pay your bill before you leave, you total up your bill and then leave. The older lady was disgustingly rude and aggressive and even pushed the tax receipt in my daughters face. Never have I experienced such absurd behaviour from a female or even a member of staff before and as I said I have been to Morocco and stayed in many Riads. But this was the worst. We were treated like thief's, as if we were going to run away and not pay the tax. Our bill including tax was literally 166 dhm, the older woman made our experience Hell, the older lady was literally a monster in female form. If she could have hit us and kicked us out she would have. Her aggression was on 100..

Not much, except the price.

Cons: First of all, the place is in a terrible location, almost impossible to find with a taxi or on foot. So, of course you will be hassled by numerous people trying to get your money to show you the way. Additionally, when I arrived the woman did not speak a word of English or French. The second woman who arrived spoke more French, and was somewhat helpful, until one point when she became completely rude and unfriendly. When a traveller arrives in a foreign country, and especially a difficult environment as is around this hotel, the least they can do is to try to help them, instead of smiling to their face and then talking bad behind their back. Thank God this was not my experience in the other places I stayed in Morocco, where there is true hospitality. The room itself also offers no privacy- it is directly on the lobby where guests work, meet and have their breakfast. I speak enough Arabic to understand when I am insulted, and this occurred many times at this property. Be wary of that, whoever owns this property.

Cons: The criticisms I have read are much about the location, which is actually great if you like walking and being in a Medina. I think many are coming to Morocco first here and unused to what some cities are like. The experience can be a bit intense, but realize the Medina is bustling with commerce, people and culture. If you feel unsafe at night, you can take a cab, but in reality these places are friendly and true to Morocco, sometimes a hustle or two, but not dangerous and if you want to visit Morocco should adjust perspective a bit. This place was awesome from where i stand

The breakfast was always pretty good and filling, no disappointments there. The hotel was well located, not too far from the touristy spots and major restaurants. The staff at the hotel were very friendly.

Cons: In terms of what could have been done better, there is not much light to shed in that regard. One improvement that I could suggest would be to have more english speaking staff, however as English speakers ourselves this was not a major problem as there was one english speaking staff member.

Cons: The pool had very sharp tiles, which are very dangerous. My son had a large cut under his feet. No proper first-aid kit.

A cozy and stylish riad with beutiful decors and details. The hosts welcome you warmly with mint thé ans biscuits- a nice touch at arrival. Beautiful room with air conditioning and cleaned up every day. It feels good ar the riad and it looks even better than in photos.

Cons: Everything was well.

Good room and also the riad

Cons: We had dinner at the riad one evening. Don't do it. It was a very expensive dinner, 15 euros per person, which is a lot for dining in Marrakech, and drinks weren't included. Also the meal was neither particularly good nor that filling.

The space was extremely cozy and well maintained. We got up early every morning and Yassin eagerly prepared an always delicious breakfast. Everyone at the Riad was nice, calm and smily. We really enjoyed our time there. When we needed, they kindly arranged us a taxi driver with a fixed rate, which came in very handy. The gentleman is also punctual, which we really appreciated.

Cons: If you happen to get there by another taxi driver, they will probably leave you a bit far from the Riad entrance. They argue it's not possible for a car to go through the narrow streets. That is not true, cars can get there. We had this experience and we were not very confident to walk there. Although nothing happened, motorcycles drive too fast and locals might mess a bit with you on the way.

Aya is the most warm person :) the level of help was amazingly good. Her advices made our stay a way much better. Good thing is a rooftop place, where she organized for as a shisha. Also breakfast is served between 8-11 and we were leaving early on our last day so she asked the crew to make for us a little breakfast to go :) that was lovely - thank you very much.

Cons: well… disadvantage is mostly one the side of noises, like you can hear from your room other people who for example are using a pool. a place is a bit far from a city center but as we love walking for us was perfect distance 🤞

This is a lovely riad! It is very, very clean! My room was cosy and cool (it had air con but I didn't need to use it) and the bed was very comfortable. I slept very well here .It was nice and peaceful and had a roof terrace to enjoy the sun. The food was absolutely delicious! Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. I had dinner here and it was lovely, freshly prepared local cuisine...really nice! The staff were lovely too - very kind and helpful.

Cons: With regards to the location: it is quite far out in the medina and not accessible by car (like many other riads, I'd imagine). I think the location is reflected by the value. I found it best to walk about four minutes to Parking Bab Taghzout where there were taxis (and where day tours collect). Google maps was not entirely accurate, but was a good guide to the direction ( I found it myself after a bit of stress). Once I knew the way, I felt safe walking around on my own late at night and early in the morning in the area. I didn't have any problems and people were very friendly to me. If not such a confident traveller, I wouldn't recommend, especially if solo. The location was fine for me though.

Kindness of the staff, comfort and value

Cons: Even we don’t have any situation, the area seems to be a bit insecure with a lot of people on the street trying to cheating you with wrong indications and abusive looks. Back to the Riad during the night can be quite scary. But I understand it’s cultural issue.

It was such a pleasant surprise ! Room was super well maintained, colors and materials beautiful and staff super welcoming. Night was super silent which is not that often in the Medina.

Cons: Nothing

The ladies at the Rias were very pleasant, however spoke only French.

Cons: It is very dark in the room, no window, so not that cozy. And the area is not that central in Medina, not pleasant to walk around.

The staff were lovely - really kind & helpful. The property is quite nice if small in size.

Cons: Location was a real drawback - too far from the interesting areas of the Medina and taxis had problems finding it. Walking around the area was not pleasant, locals were harassing and not at all helpful - we were always in fear of being tricked/cheated - even lied to about directions.

The decor is really nice. Overall the room was comfortable. I went late at night and left early morning so couldn’t comment on the service but they didn’t speak much English.

Cons: It was in local neighbourhood and very difficult to find. Cars can’t get in so you need to walk with your luggage in small alleys about 8-10 mins to the riad. Google maps shown routes where there are dead ends. Even my local guide got lost. On the way to the hotel at night, even walking with a guy, we got bothered and cornered by teenagers. I didn’t feel safe as a solo female traveler in that neighbourhood. Once in the riad, I felt safe.

the staff was really nice and allowed us to use the kitchen. they gave us breakfast to go as well when we had to leave earlier.

Cons: one has to be aware of the location. it was fine for us (travelling as two) and nothing ever happened, but on my own I would have felt not comfortable at all in the area.

Great place, I highly recommend. 1.Barbarian style 2. You will be treated as in traditional Marocan famili home (tradition of Marrocan is invite you with tea and snacs)3. Is really clean, nice place, room is cleaned every day 4. The ladies are cooking traditional Marocco food for brekfest. 5. What I love - it is close to all atractions but in silent area not this hihg turistic traffic what is the plus and make it safe. I love this place and will come back when will visit Marrakesh.

The Riad was absolutely beautiful and clean and the beds were so comfortable. The rooftop with day beds was such a nice surprise and we were able to chill out and get work done under the sun. The biscuits on arrival were some of the best we had in Morocco and the breakfast was lovely. We felt so welcome and the staff were lovely. We will definitely return on our next visit!

Cons: Stay vigilant around the area at night and avoid big groups of men

Cons: if you don’t mind the risk of being lost in the labyrinth of narrow streets of old Medina where local teenagers can ask for money aggressively when showing you in the right direction, you can stay here. we also didn’t feel safe there in the evening at all

Welcome snacks and tea on arrival, ladies from the staff didn't speak English and had a hard time checking me in but seemed really kind. Bathroom nice and clean. Good breakfast.

Cons: Neighbourhood seemed so dangerous I would be afraid to return to the accommodation in the evening or at night (I actually had one dodgy guy following me all the way to the riad during the daytime). What's the point of having a place to pass the night that you don't feel safe about coming back to after the sunset? You don't get the keys to the gate so you depend on someone from the staff being there to open the door for you. The swimming pool (rather small) is located in the patio. During my stay in Marrakech it was raining heavily, so I booked the place in the hope I could pass the time swimming but since the patio had no protection from the rain at the time it wasn't an option, really. The only window in the double room looks out on the patio, so you get to choose between no fresh air / no natural light and no privacy.
