The staff were incredibly friendly. The welcome was warm, and we were offered mint tea to sip while checking in. The entire hotel was beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious and very clean. In winter, the nighttime temperatures in Marrakech are low, and riads can get chilly. Our room was wonderfully warm thanks to the heat pump. Breakfast was enjoyed in a beautiful setting with a peaceful atmosphere. The rooftop pool area was a nice place to relax after sightseeing.

Cons: It would be good to have new water bottles brought to the rooms daily. The riad was located right on the edge of the medina, so it was a little over a couple of kilometers’ walk to the sights each way. We enjoy walking, and it was interesting to observe the local way of life at the same time – with the staff’s directions, it was also easy to find the route. Someone with limited mobility would definitely need to take a taxi.

This place was amazing! We stayed at three places in Marrakesh and this Riyad was hands down the best out of all of them. The nicest staff ever - always willing to assist and offer a kind smile. Rooms were much more spacious than typical RIyad's. The vibe was so tranquil and peaceful and serene. Although not in the madness of it all, a 20 walk or 10 minute cab ride away from everything. Loved staying on the edge of the Medina. The owner Christine accommodated and surprised us by decorating the room for our anniversary which just made it super special, I am so grateful for that. The food was also very good, the breakfast was the best in Marrakesh (you actually can get some eggs here!). Next time we'll use the spa as well, there was not much time. Really great stay, thank you so much for being amazing. We'll be back!

Cons: nothing, it was perfect

We had such a lovely time at Riad Ayadina — it’s a truly beautiful spot. The rooftop pool is absolutely amazing and such a treat when the heat gets intense. There’s nothing better than taking a refreshing dip after wandering through the souks or when it’s simply too hot to explore the city. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the owner is warm and attentive. She came by to say hello every morning at breakfast, which added a lovely personal touch. The food was fantastic too — Fatima prepared a delicious vegetarian meal for us, and everyone was so kind and helpful throughout our stay.

Cons: The only small downside is that the riad is on the outskirts of the Medina. It’s about a 30-minute walk to the souks, but we found it easier to take a quick taxi to Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and explore from there. It’s also located next to a main street, though the traffic noise is surprisingly minimal and we weren’t disturbed at night. The on-site restaurant finishes serving fairly early, but after 11 p.m. it’s completely peaceful.

It is absolutely gourgeous!! Every little detail in the decor, products, everything. Beautiful. Staff is super nice and available. The food is amazing!

Cons: Location. It’s quite far from everything and there is nothing near, not one restaurant in short walking distance. However, it is on the side of a main road so easy to call a cab and go about. It’s also a bit noisy inside.

Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a lovely start to the day. Everything was very fresh with omelettes and crepes cooked to order. We were in a junior suite which was beautifully presented with loads of space and the décor and furnishings were very traditional. The Riad is just inside one of the gates into the Medina so a very short walk from where taxis can park. It was quite a long walk to get down to the main square and souks which was fine for us as we are keen walkers but might not suit everyone. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff was exceptional. Everyone went above and beyond to look after us and ensure we got the best out of our stay in Marrakech.

Cons: Just a personal preference but I found the mattress far too hard.

Cons: This Riad is located in an area of town that I would not recommend for travelers. It is a 40-minute walk to the old town or a 10-minute cab ride, which costs around 10 euros each way. So, you should factor an additional 20 euros per day into your travel budget for transportation. We found the staff to be unavailable most of the time and not very welcoming. Upon arrival, it felt lifeless as there was often no one around, lacking the warm hospitality that other riads offer. During our week in Marrakesh, we stayed in the old town and had a completely different experience. We spent one unfortunate night at Ayadina, where we had the worst sleep because the air conditioning was set to high all night. It made us cough and left us feeling cold. We were unable to adjust the fan or temperature, so we ended up opening the windows, which allowed noise from the busy street behind the Riad to disturb us. Overall, this place was not a good fit for our family.

The interior spaces are incredible in detail of furnishings, artwork, landscaping details and the facilities are maintained to an unusually high standard. The rooms are everything you could possibly want for a retreat into old Marrakech opulence. The staff are eager to assist with any request, are available any time and are happy and cheerful to assist with any guest need. The in house restaurant provided some of the best meals we’ve had in Morocco and certainly has the best ambiance of any restaurant we’ve visited.

Cons: The property is somewhat isolated from places of interest to walk to.

Oh the most beautiful Riad I have stayed in. And my room was like an apartment with lots of space, a big desk where I was able to paint, and stunning bathroom with a bathtub. Luxury. Location near the Porte Bab Layadi is great as it enables one to get out of the Medina and get to the parking lot quickly. This is one of the strongest points this Riad has in its favor. The 2 room/suite we had was very spacious and very reasonably priced for the amount of space we had. The food was very good and portions were very generous. The bed was firm, sheets were crisp and clean. The staff are extremely friendly, very helpful and overall excellent service attitude .

Cons: The room felt dusty and the towels are thin and worn. The carpets felt like they needed to be cleaned. The decor is a bit faded old style but I suppose it’s part of the look.

The staff couldn't do enough for us. Wonderful and so efficiently run. My booking turned out to have been wrong, but we ended up staying 3 of 7 nights. We loved it so much, we intend to return. Great location to br dropped off by taxi - just outside the Gate, 20 yes and there's the Riad"s door on the right. Once you step through that door, you step into an Oasis, a little piece of heaven on earth. Thank you, once again, to the entire team. front of house as well as behind the scenes. The authenticity. This is a beautiful Riad which has been thoughtfully decorated. It is very traditional, and truly Moroccan. It has everything you need, and the food is amazing. What really makes this place so special is the staff. They work very hard to ensure that your stay is comfortable and that you have everything you need, within the accommodation and also elsewhere. You cannot help appreciating their generosity and sincerity. They are just outstanding. A wonderful experience from all staff.

Cons: Possibly the pillows, but if that’s all I can think about, then clearly nothing much at all.

Service: Some staff members were very kind and attentive, especially the breakfast waiter, who was warm and helpful. We were also welcomed with tea and biscuits upon arrival, which was a nice touch. Location: The Riad is conveniently located with parking right outside, making it ideal for those arriving by car. Taxis are easily accessible as well. Breakfast: The food at breakfast was good, and the service was attentive. Overall: The Riad has a certain charm and eccentricity that creates an interesting atmosphere, and it does have potential.

Cons: Location: The Riad is located about a 30-minute walk from the main Medina area and 40 minutes from the farther parts, through narrow, poorly lit streets. While the walk is fine during the day, at night, the winding alleys can feel intimidating and desolate. Service: The Riad uses a doorbell system to let guests in, but there are three different doorbells with no clear instructions on which one to use and the butler was often very harsh. On one occasion, we were left standing outside for 20 minutes without a response. Additionally, the doorbell sound can be heard late into the night, disrupting the peace. Communication Problems: Despite being given local contact numbers, our calls went unanswered when we were trying to find the Riad and later when we needed assistance. We also requested a room with a shower, but the first room had a bathtub, and the second room had two beds pushed together instead of a double bed. We had to wait until the second night for the room change. State of the Riad: While the Riad looks charming at first, the condition of the property is disappointing. Cleanliness was lacking, with stained linens in the first room and worn, damaged furniture in the second. The rugs triggered allergies, likely due to accumulated dust. The Riad feels neglected and in need of maintenance and deep cleaning. The rooftop pool is much smaller than it appears in the pictures, and overall, the pictures are more flattering than the actual state of the Riad. Overcharging: We were surprised to find that we were charged 70 dirhams for a bottle of water, which is usually 6 dirhams in a local shop, which is 11 times more than the regular price. So while upcharge is expected in a hotel, this seemed extreme. Breakfast: The orange juice served at breakfast was a mix of fresh and artificial juice, which felt disappointing, especially considering the abundance of fresh oranges in Marrakech.

The Riad is absolutely beautiful. Small and quaint. The location was perfect, quiet with easy access to taxi. About a 30 minute walk to the Medina. Google maps works great. The rooms were so spacious and beautiful. The rooftop terrace was lovely. It was too cold for the pool. The staff were so kind, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was yummy. Dinner was delicious, one of the best meals I had in Morocco. They have a full bar.

Cons: The bed was a little too hard for me. My room did not have a shower, but the bath was lovely. Be warned, there a many steep stairs through out the Riad.

We had a warm welcome at the Riad which has a lovely ground floor dining /lounge space. The breakfast that was served each morning was lovely with a good choice for continental, we had homemade pancakes and omlettes. The room was very spacious and good quality bedding. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The room was very dark and although we could open the shutters, it was on to a communal space. so not very private. The location of the Riad is at the other end of the Medina and is a 25 minute walk to the markets through the quiet end. We had locals trying to take us on a path to the markets and didn't feel 100% safe at times. You need to really get a taxi to the main squares and markets. We paid for a junior suite to include our 14 year old. At the end of the stay the invoice included another £100 for our son to stay with us. They did eventually take the charge off the bill, but it took a little to sort including a call to the owner. Booking would have confirmed the booking with the 3 people as per our confirmation so it was disappointing that they tried to charge again for the extra bed, when it was clearly detailed in the booking.

Breakfast was very good with a range of options on the beautiful setting of the rooftop. Location was great as it was right near the gate which was good for taxi pickups and the riad’s hammam was an added bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of nice touches like Christine making an effort to talk to us everyday and the welcome drink and biscuits.

Cons: It would have been nice to have bottled water every day not just for the first day. I don’t think the welcome folder informed about the air-conditioning. As the controls were up high and not noticeable it looked like the room didn’t have it.

We would thoroughly recommend Riad Ayadina. Christina is a proper host, on site everyday, making a point of speaking with all her guests, giving help and advice and making sure they have everything they need. Her team of staff are exceptional, extremely warm, friendly and welcoming whilst remaining professional and respectful of your space. The Riad is beautiful, with a relaxed, peaceful vibe and the food is excellent. Though it is at the north end of the medina, it is only a 15 min walk to the start io the main souks area and Christina has helpfully arranged for blue ‘A’ arrows to be placed clearly along the winding streets up to this point, then you’re on your own! We loved staying in this beautiful little Riad and will definitely be back.

The Riad is just beautiful. We were met by Christine who is the owner on arrival and we were led to the restaurant area while waiting for our rooms to be ready as we had arrived early. Mint tea and beautiful pastries were offered while we waited. We all stayed in Junior Suites. All are individual and so comfortable. The Riad is comfortable with lots of little areas to sit and relax in on the Terrace and inside. Breakfasts are lovely and plentiful with great service. Eating on the rooftop terrace at the start of the day is great. The pool is small but provides a great place to cool off after a morning exploring. The staff at all times are friendly, attentive and helpful. We ate in all but one evening and the menu is varied, well cooked and regional. Look out for the resident cat Rambo who will seek you out and is super friendly , and the little House Bunting birds who will make their presence known with their lovely chirping!

Cons: Nothing- we were a group of 7 and all had a great time. I would add that you need a reasonable level of mobility to access rooms and terrace as there is no lift, and stairs lead to all the bedrooms. We were all fine, but I felt it should be mentioned.

The riad was very nice and an effort was made by staff to make us welcome. There was a lovely fireplace and the dining tables were set around the courtyard which was nice. The rooftop was lovely too but the weather wasn;t good enough to get much use. The suite was big and felt luxurious. The bathroom and it's products were great. I liked the security of the door being locked and having to ring the bell. The riad was near a gate which we used for taxi pick up and drop offs however it is worth noting that it's at the quieter end of the medina so a bit of a walk back in the evenings. We always took a taxi back. The breakfast was nice and varied a little every day which was great. Dinner on our first night was very good but not so good on our last night (Wednesday).

Cons: The pillows weren't very comfortable. There was a bit of noise from people sitting around chatting in the inner courtyard at night. It was Ramadan so we were advised staff might not be around during sunset. This was fair enough but at other times it was hard to find staff to help with basic things like call a taxi. Also we had a lovely Hamamm but we weren't advised when booking that the therapists needed separate payment by cash, so we felt bad that we couldn't pay them on the day.

The Riad Ayanida is an exceptionally beautiful place, very clean with extremely friendly staff. The owner herself is at the Riad everyday, engages with her guests and pays close attention to their individual needs and wishes. All in all we were very happy. With the Riad located at the border of the Medina it marks the perfect location. Easily reachable for Taxis but still a doorstep to the heart of the city. The food was delicious, we've decided to spend most of our dinners at the Riad as it was during Ramadan and most restaurants were closed and the streets rather empty. They serve a different three course menu every day. The breakfast is also phenomenal and different every day too. They even have an alcohol licence. We loved our stay here. The spa is operated by contractors and very convenient. Definitely worth a visit, we booked the 60min couples massage and were very satisfied. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Marrakech.

We received a beautiful welcome from Christine and team. As we were arriving in the evening we had booked dinner and oh my what an introduction to Moroccan cuisine.. beautiful meal. Breakfast was a highlight of our trip too. Rooms were very clean, extremely comfortable and felt very authentic. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. The night porters deserve a special mention. They were always on hand to help when we returned to the Riad in the evening and the first smiles we saw every morning. Roof terrace is lovely to come back to to soak up some rays after a day of touring and adventures. I really enjoyed a massage in the Spa too.

Cons: Riad Ayadina is a walk from the souks and main square BUT we love walking. We loved walking thru the medina and watching the locals shopping, going to work and school or cooking or eating street food. Christine gave us very helpful tips to find our way and we had the hang of it by the end of the first day. Don’t wear earphones and stay into the right to avoid the motorbikes and tuk tuks. If walking is not your thing you can taxi it as this Riad is right beside a gate entrance to the medina and has a big car park for taxi pickup or drop off.

Location was great. We like walking so was good to be able to navigate through the side streets to see another side of Marrakesh. Took about 20-25 mins depending on traffic! Great views of the Atlas Mountains on a clear day, pool was nice to cool off in, terrace was lovely, food great and room excellent (although bed a little firm for my liking). Staff were fantastic!!

Cons: Only downside was the noise from the work they were doing on the bar on the roof. It looks great, and will be a popular addition I’m sure, but the noise reverberates around the inner courtyard making relaxation difficult. Perhaps they could try and work around the guests a bit more if work needs to be done in future, as the terrace/pool were almost unusable whilst it was happening.

The Riad was beautiful and the staff were amazing. The bath was incredible! We booked a tripe via the Riad and it was so much better; we had our own driver and the experience was so worthwhile. Made it so much easier booking via the Riad.

Beautiful Riad in Marrakech hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. The most attentive and welcoming staff and a wonderful reception on arrival with tea and Moroccan treats. Truly stunning venue with beautiful rooms!

Cons: It is quite a walk (30 minutes) from the main tourist attractions of Marrakech which is fine during daylight hours but we didn’t fancy the walk home at night. A taxi back cost around £10 which wasn’t the end of the world, but just something to note! Perhaps more options and additional volume of food at breakfast would be good too :)

Lovely traditional decor in rooms and common areas, very clean, helpful staff that are always available, good substantial breakfast, convenient location just inside the medina (about 30 minutes walk to the souks and main square) but close to a gate and parking for drop offs and pick ups. Nearest cafes, shops and banks are 20 minutes walk.

Cons: The description of the rooms on booking.com includes a balcony, but not all rooms have a balcony, and the balconies that are there have only tiny impractical chairs. It would have been nice to have a chair on the nice patio outside my room so that I could sit outside there.

Spent 4 nights in this beautiful Riad, just on the edge of the Medina. From the moment we walked in we felt utterly relaxed. The restaurant and lounges are beautiful, calming places after a busy day in the Medina, the rooftop terrace with pool is beautiful to relax on, the room was lovely, the food excellent, and the massage I had in the spa was superb. The most special part of this stay, though, was the staff, who are warm, welcoming and cannot do enough to help, especially the two male staff who looked after us - both named Noureddine. No request was too much bother and these two fine young men helped to create a five star experience for us during our stay. If you are planning a stay in Marrakech, this is the place to book!

Gorgeous riad with beautiful antique furnishings, lovely spa and beautifully decorated rooms. Quiet, warm and cosy in winter. Good breakfast (ask for eggs!) and a very friendly cat. Location right at the top of the medina but that meant very easy to get to by car (including parking 1 minute away) and we loved the walk into town through non-touristy parts of the medina.

Lovely traditional and characterful riad with very pleasant staff and highly professional manager. Great location right by one of the gateways into the medina. Great taxi pick up service. Breakfast and dinner fine.

Cons: Although the Wifi was fine in the public areas, it was sub-standard in our suite. As we were staying there for 7 nights this did become a bit of a nuisance. Christine, the manager, was very helpful in trying to resolve this but it wasn't sorted before we left. The public areas were a bit chilly and although there was a lovely log fire in the evening, there was only room for two chairs near it and the same couple seemed to occupy these seats all evening, every evening!

Felt authentic. Nouri and other staff were polite and attentive. Easy to access by taxi/car. Reasonable breakfast. Nice rooftop terrace.

Cons: Pretty long walk (but do-able) into the souks and to the main square/attractions. Pre-visit response to messages was poor. Our room was very blue, very dark and disturbed throughout the night by the traffic beyond the medina and motorbikes riding through the passageway directly under our window. It was promoted as a ‘free upgrade to a suite’ but, whilst it’s a good size, we would definitely have preferred to have been overlooking the inner courtyard away from the noise, in a warmly decorated room.

Our first impression when we arrived to riad was "wow"! Authentic interrior, tranquil, calming music, birds chirping, the sound of water fountain flowing... We were greeted with mint tea and biscuits, which was also lovely. The staff was welcoming, attentive and kind. Always with a smile :) Air conditioning system was pretty quiet. Dinners were very nice. We booked a dinner in our riad twice and were very happy. We are pescatarians, so our tagines were made with fish. They were acctually the best ones we ate in Marrakesh, so compliments to the chef! Full of flavour and depth!

Cons: 1. Our junior suite was on the basement floor and was exceptionally dark. I literally couldn't put my makeup on and had to go outside. 2. There was no shower, just the bath. It's not a problem for me, but my boyfriend is tall and he struggled a lot. 3. The bed was uncomfortable and squeaky. We had to put a pillow between the headboard and the wall to make it less squeeky and to avoid waking up every time your partner turns at night. 4. Breakfast wasn't great. I read so many reviews before booking this property that stated that both, - sweet and savoury options were available for breakfast. Unfortunately, it was very sugar loaded. A small bowl of fruit, tiny jar of sweetened yogurt, baguette, cake or croissant, - were served every morning. Sometimes - tiny ftittata style pancake (the only savoury thing), or msemmen or baghrir. We asked for an omellette to be included to our breakfast and, thank you, some protein made our morning better. Msemmen needs a separate story here. During our first breakfast there was a black hair in my msemmen. I told it to the staff member and he haven't apologised. During our last breakfast I found a hair again in my msemmen! Moreover, my omelette was exceptionally salty (strange, because all food I ate for a week was lacking salt). After finding a chunk of salt in my third bite I gave up my breakfast, and just took the clementines with me. What we also find strange that "laughing cow" cheese triangles were served instead of a normal cheese (maybe it's common in Morocco, but for a higher end riad it was a bit cheap) Jam and butter were also served in mini portions, but that's ok. 5. The billing method was unfair. The final amount was presented both - in euros and in dirhams (bare in mind that you'll be charged in dirhams only), but the amount in dirhams was 5% higher than the amount with the current currency exchange rate applied.

The Riad was beautiful in every area. Breakfast and lunch were on the rooftop terrace. Dinner was served on the ground floor. The food for all meals was absolutely delicious. Our room was spacious, very clean and the bed was comfortable. Towels were replaced, beds made and room cleaned every day. All the staff were exceptional. they were so helpful, kind and pleasant always. I can't remember all of their names but all of them were lovely. There were two Nuris. One Nuri who worked the night shift who played guitar and sang beutifully. The other Nuri worked the day shift and was so helpful in every way, nothing was too much trouble for him. The spa was great as well. My husband and I had pedicures, hammam and massage. I would highly recommend them. A mother and daughter Zahira and Abala did them and again were marvellous. Christina was the manager and was also exceptional.

Cons: There was nothing that I didn't like. The only disadvantage for me was the shower was over a high bath and not walk in. There was a step up to get in to it. As I am a senior citizen a walk in shower would have been safer and more suitable for me. There are walk in showers in other rooms which I would recommend anyone in the older age bracket should request if booking Riad Ayadina.

Beautiful, authentic riad with 2 (or maybe 3?) courtyards, fantastic service, wonderful staff. Our stay was very relaxing, the room, the furniture, every little detail is really nice. There is heated pool on the rooftop terrace and the breakfast is also served there. Breakfast is both sweet and savoury and it is partially traditional. One morning we had to leave early for an excursion and we were served with a full breakfast on the rooftop still in the dark but in a very good mood, having a good chat with the staff, thank you Mahdi!

Cons: Only thing is the location we had mixed feelings about, because it's kind of far away from the center of the Medina, like 30 minutes walk. But on the other hand taxi can stop in like 1 minute from the entrance door, which is very convenient to and from the airport and if you are going on an excursion they can pick you up easily. Going to the main square it is 5 euros by taxi, don't pay more. It's again partially due to the location - being on the edge of the Medina, close to a main street - that we could hear the noise of the street but also several muezzins in parallel early in the morning.

A beautiful riad rich in history within the medina but on the outskirts, meaning it was quiet and away from the hussle and bussle. Lovely spacious rooms and excellent facilities within the riad with spa and hamman, and pool on the roof. Beautiful breakfast served daily on the roof by the pool, and restaurant serving gorgeous meals in the evening. It really is a beautiful riad full of culture but what makes it exceptional is the staff. Nouri was amazing and assisted us with everything we needed, he could not do anymore to make our stay a happy one, from greeting us with a warm friendly smile, looking after us for drinks or food, arranging a guide, driver, taxi or excursions. Such a lovely man who just wants to make sure you have the best stay in his home city. The rest of the staff are all super friendly and helpful, even the night guard who let me 100dh as my taxi didn’t have change! A beautiful riad, well run and memorable. When I come back to Marrakesh I will be staying here!

Cons: Nothing! Everything was perfect. It’s not in the middle of the medina and takes 5 mins in a taxi or 20 min walk through the old streets of the medina which suited us perfectly you get to see the less touristy side of the medina .

Riad Ayadina is a wonderful place of peace and quiet amongst the noise and excitement that is downtown Marrakech! Dinner upon our late arrival was a lovely touch, the rooms are wonderfully spacious and comfortable and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating, throughout our entire stay. The staff is polite, respectful, and welcoming. The owner is very arrogant, aggressive, and has the worst customer service skills.

Cons: I chose this riad to be my honeymoon spot for me and my bride, I came to the property and was greeted by their night employee who had the strangest nickname "Couscous". We then went to our room, which was not the one we paid for, but we accepted it anyway. Later, we decided to go to jamaa El fenaa for dîner, and I told my wife to leave her purse that had over $1,500 cash on it, and only to take about $40 for dinner, we left her diamonds as well. We came back to the riad and then decided to get ready for the pool upstairs to discover that cash is missing from my wife's purse! We then alerted couscous and were advised to wait the next day to find out what happened. The manager came and kept rewinding footage and told me that he is not taking responsibility for money that is missing and that it is unlikely that it got stolen, he then advised me to speak to the owner who was in France and was not around. I started telling my story candidly, she then interrupted me aggressively, denied any responsibility, and told me to take my belongings and leave since I will be claiming that something else is wrong the next day and that there is no way on earth she believes me, that her staff is honest and that she has full confidence in them, she also accused me of lying about leaving to Jamaa el fenaa since they couldn't find footage on their cameras, she also claimed that she has a good reputation. Humiliated, frustrated, and angry, I then decided to go local police authorities to conduct a police investigation. The authorities were fast and efficient they immediately accompanied me to the riad, took fingerprint samples, and thorough research was conducted. I told my wife to get us ready to leave and to pack everything up, and we were on our way with our bags on the look for hotels and apartments everywhere.

I love I loved my stay in Riad Ayadina so much so that I barely moved outside of its walls. I really liked the different ambiances (with an antique and historical feel) in that one place. So many colors and restful sofas. Above all, the staff, Najade, Youri, Arda, Fatima, Souahed, and all the ones I forgot to mention because I don’t want to butcher their names, made me feel like I was at home. I am pregnant and really needed to feel cozy and taken care of. The food was delicious and home made, and I already miss eating my daily Tajine. Make sure to order your lunch during breakfast, and diner during lunch because everything is made from scratch and they work with freshly bought ingredients. I strongly recommend this riad. It was easy to find from the airport, right by a gate of the Medina, and it is a short 15min drive in taxi to get to the souk etc.

Cons: The only down side (which in the end was a positive thing) is that my beloved blue bedroom did not have the bathtubs I initially saw in the pictures because someone broke it. But like I said, I’m pregnant, so it was for the best in the end. Also there is a drought, so better take showers for the environment.

Amazing place, a beautiful oasis on the edge of the Medina, quiet and peaceful, within walking distance of the main attractions or a short inexpensive taxi ride, (50 dirhams) , the staff go above and beyond what i would expect, we had a lovely time, thank you to Abdo, Nour, and couscous, and the ladies who made our stay a pleasant one.

I stayed here with my husband for my 60th birthday from 5th- 8th April this year. Riad Ayadina was an amazing Riad and probably one of the most beautiful boutique hotels we've ever stayed in. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and so welcoming. A special mention goes out to Najat and Couscous, who made us feel so welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. This Riad was a truly amazing find and was true to all the past reviews which also praised the hotel. It was set in most beautiful surroundings, and the decor & furnishings added to the wonderful ambience experienced. The small pool on the roof terrace was an added bonus. It was a very special stay, and we would love to come back some time for another special occasion with all our extended family members and celebrate with a meal in the gorgeous intimate dining area.

Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like about this gorgeous establishment.

The Riad Ayadina & SPA was absolutely amazing. The personnel was the nicest and the most welcoming you can dream of. The rooftop was really nice to enjoy the sun and refresh yourself in the pool. The bedroom was very romantic as well as the inside court in which you could eat the best food we have eaten in Marrakech so far. We definitely recommend this Riad which has been absolutely magical for a first experience in Marrakech!

Riad AYADINA was absolutely fantastic Service - well I can’t find the words to describe how amazing each and every member of staff were . From the front of house, maids, kitchen, night porter all went above and beyond. Location- fabulous, right on the edge of the top of the medina, a gate leading in and out of the medina wall was 10 seconds away so great for taxis back . But also a great adventure heading into the medina . Breakfast - was great . Omelettes, fruit, bread& butter, yogurt and little extras and multiple tea, coffee& fresh juice Pool- OMG what a wonderful oasis on the roof top after a day exploring sit back and relax with a beer & a wine Room- was beautiful , huge king bed , large sitting area and a fabulous bathroom . Plus air con .

We walked ~25minutes to the souks, which wasnt bad at all. Also, if you’re planning to have activities, all the pick ups can be arranged from the parking place right next to the Riad! If you’re planning to visit Marrakech, definelty book this Riad!

We also love the food it was a 10 with sumptuous dinner, fantastic dessert and the morning breakfast was so good, we enjoyed all the different juices prepared each day. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in a hotel - fresh and varied everyday served on the lovely rooftop. Staff went above and beyond from the moment we arrived, a special shout-out to Noureddine a true gentlemen who is a credit to the place. As well as the lovely ladies, Couscous the night porter, even the gentleman responsible for rooftop upkeep who always made an effort to say hello - it is evident how hard they all work. The riad itself was beautiful, we loved our spacious room, but the attention to detail is consistent throughout - small touches like pool towels and sun hats were a great touch.

Cons: Although it didn’t bother us, bare in mind the location is the edge of the medina so there is noise - road / prayer time. Neither of which were offensive. It is great to get back to this almost hidden oasis after a busy day / night.

Lovely, spacious accommodation with colourful but comfortable decor. It feels like staying at a good friend’s place. Its an old building and the decor resembles that period but with a touch of luxury. Its in the Medina, just on the edge of it. The staff are great especially Couscous, he made our stay absolutely fantastic.

Cons: Being in the Medina was great but its too long a walk to the square especially in the heat, so prepare for a lot of taxi rides but they are not expensive and its a 2min walk to catch one. The food and drink is overpriced in the Riad but really good breakfast. Service is slow, which we overlooked because all the staff were just lovely and went out of their way to help us.

A little out of the madness of the Medina, but a 25-minute walk or a quick taxi gets you to the busyness. The food at the Riad was lovely, especially breakfast. The Riad was absolutely beautiful, exactly as shown in pictures. Our room was huge and decor was stunning.

This was a step up in luxury from the other Riad we stayed in. Luxurious quality bedding, antique furniture - a particularly gorgeous place for a romantic getaway. The cooking was fantastic- do stay in one evening for dinner and enjoy the breakfasts - all delicious. The staff were lovely and very helpful, good humoured and genuine. We even tried a massage - again very good. I would stay here again ( and again).

Cons: This Riad is on the edge of the Medina so it is a little walk in to the souks and museums. However you can easily get a taxi. The walk in is an interesting one and gives you an insight to living in the Medina. On the other hand it is a good location for travelling out on trips etc.

Our first trip to Marrakech was made all the more memorable by this gem of a Riad. A delightful haven after leaving the bustle of the Medina. Nothing was too much trouble for Christine and her colleagues. And perfectly situated to jump in a taxi or transport arranged by our hosts.

Cons: Watch out for the scammers who try "guide" you from the Medina to the Riad. We had a very unpleasant experience. Don't believe anyone who tells you the road ahead is closed (because of the mosque or work), and never tell anyone where you are going. Refuse all offers of "assistance".

A beautiful refuge from the frenetic pace of the medina. The Riad is ideally located near a gate (Bab) into the medina. This allows easy access into and out of the medina. It is an excellent place to stay; you do not need to walk with bags a long distance, just around the gate. It's far from the souk and center, but this makes it quiet during the night. The Riad was amazing, very beautiful architecture and the room was lovely. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was lovely.

Cons: Unfortunately, the main hotel manager had a bereavement just before we arrived and that meant the organisation of the staff kind of fell apart. We could never find anyone in the lobby or reception room to help with requests or advice, and we even had to almost leave without paying our bill because there was no one around. Someone available full time at a reception would be really useful!

Lovely Riad, well decorated, super cozy, lovely furniture, paintings, art. The food was good. The staff was friendly and very sweet. The pool is nice and the massage is good.

Cons: The room was very noisy--both from inside the Riad and from the main avenue. Smells of motorcycle exhausts would get into the room. The wifi stopped working during the last 2 days, which was annoying. A bit far from the center of the city (30 min walk), but close to the jardin Majorelle (15 min walk).

We really loved our stay there and our room was beautiful. All of the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a lovely time. We had breakfast every morning and dinner two evenings. It was quite delicious. The only negative is also a positive. It's a little difficult to walk to a restaurant as it's easy to get lost in the alleyways and you're pretty north although still within the walls. It is very close to an entrance to the medina so it's easy to get a taxi. We had a great spa experience as well.

Very friendly staff by whom you have the feeling that they can and will do everything for you. The Riad is well located at the border of the old city, easy to find (which is not likely in the medina). One certainly needs to experience the hamman and massage ! A must experience in exploring Moroccan culture. With the traditional breakfast at the rooftop terrace your day starts with a big smile.

Cons: If there must be one comment made : I would have chosen a different style of music at the breakfast. But let this be a minor minor detail.

Lovely oasis away from the madness, like stepping back in time into an antique shop, amazing decor, some lovely french antique furniture matched with traditional. Inner courtyards with bird song with finches flying around made the inner garden feel with orange and olive trees. Staff are amazing both day and night and a credit to the experience. The food, well this was a surprise, as a foodie, absolutely amazing, a fixed daily evening menu, and what you would expect in a higher end restaurant. Traditional dishes, but unbelievable taste, I so need the cabbage starter recipe 🤤. Breakfasts, loved it, dish of the day given to you, great idea as you might not of chosen it and get the flavor experience, so genius. Fresh food and the freshly squeezed orange juice was phenomenal. Continental option also fabulous. Great coffee and attentive service. Our suite was beautiful and well appointed and decorated, with quirky up then down stairs, although fine for us would be a challenge for the less mobile. Thank you all so much x

Cons: We would of liked a room fridge in the suite as well as a kettle to make tea and coffee, if shower had a hook on wall and may be a shower curtain to protect the rug. Although the bed is comfortable it is very squeaky when you move.

Cons: My recent stay at riad left much to be desired. Having made a reservation well in advance, I looked forward to a relaxing retreat with promised spa amenities. However, my anticipation turned to frustration when I received a last-minute notification of the cancellation of my reservation, forcing me to relocate to a different location. The alternative accommodation provided by riad was a far cry from what was promised. Instead of the soothing spa facilities I had hoped for, I found myself in a place devoid of such luxuries. The absence of these amenities greatly diminished the quality of my stay and left me feeling cheated and misled. Furthermore, the room I was assigned lacked the basic comforts I had come to expect from a reputable establishment like riad. Instead of the picturesque views I had anticipated, I was met with windows covered in wood, depriving me of natural light and any connection to the outside world. This lack of physical windows not only detracted from the ambiance of the room but also contributed to a sense of confinement and discomfort. Adding to my disappointment was the less-than-ideal location of the alternative accommodation. Situated away from the heart of the city, the surroundings lacked charm and vibrancy, leaving me feeling isolated and disconnected from the local culture and attractions. To make matters worse, the room was plagued by cold temperatures, particularly during the chilly nights. This made it difficult to relax and enjoy my stay, as I found myself constantly battling against the cold just to stay comfortable. In conclusion, my experience at riad fell far short of expectations. From the abrupt cancellation of my reservation to the inadequate accommodations and lack of promised amenities, every aspect of my stay left much to be desired. I am deeply disappointed by the failure of riad to deliver on its promises and would caution against booking with them in the future.

We really liked the location of the riad - it’s still in the Medina so all the main touristic sights can be reached by foot, but it’s in a quieter part of the Medina, away from the hustle and bustle of the main square and the souks. The riad itself is also an oasis of tranquility with a lot of space to spend some relaxed hours in the sun on the rooftop or next to the fireplace on a chilly evening. The breakfast is really good and changes a bit everyday. The best thing about the riad is probably the staff though. Every single person working there, kitchen and cleaning staff, porters, etc., was exceptionally friendly and helpful during our entire stay. Thank you!

We had a totally fabulous time at Riad Ayadina from the minute we arrived. Christine and her lovely team looked after us so well and the Riad is absolutely gorgeous! There is great attention to detail - we loved all the artwork, the antiques, the wall hangings and paintings and the whole place is jam packed with beautiful things so you just luxuriate in the surroundings! There are lots of lovely areas to sit - we particularly liked the spot in front of the fire in the evenings. The art deco type bar and the roof top area and spa are just lovely too. We were a party of six and when we ate in the Riad the staff made our table look just so beautiful with fruit bowls, candles and rose petals - it was a joy to eat there. The food is really great too! There is a small pool up on the roof which we used to cool off in when the middle of the day got hot. The Riad is in a great location too for getting around Marrakech. All the staff were so kind and caring and made our stay very special. Thanks to all at Riad Ayadina.

Cons: There really wasn't anything we didn't like! It was all lovely. If I'm being really picky, I would have quite liked a kettle in our room so I could make a cup of tea whenever I wanted but apart from that, can't really think of anything!

The Riad is just like the photos shown - beautiful, cozy and with characters. Enjoyed very much our 5-night stay there. The room was spacious with everything we needed. Felt warm welcome since the moment we checked in with munt tea and cookies, and briefing of the surroundings by the staff. The breakfast was marvellous with lot of food including fresh juice and fruit among others everyday. And every morning different kind of (French &/or Moroccan) bread and food were served. The garden and the side living room with fireplaces had been wonderful places for us to chill out during/or after breakfast, or for a drink at the end of the day. Dinner was tasty but was not cheap. Very nice to have Noureddine around to serve whenever and whatever we needed. He's always very attentive all the time and is certainly  a very valuable staff at the Riad. Christine, the manager, was also very friendly to provide information or just drop by for a chat. The Riad is located at the edge of Medina which takes about 20-30mins walking to the center of the souks. Of course it can also be easily access by a taxi out of the Riad with few minutes ride if preferred. Walking is not a problem for us as we like walking. Just that the Riad is close to edge of Medina, sometimes we heard the noice of traffic outside at night. Overall, it is satisfying stay and recommended.

The communal dining areas are very atmospheric and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were great and staff were on the whole very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The location for us was challenging. Its right on the edge of the medina and walking back at night was hard work. We arrived late in the evening around 8.30pm and asked the night porter for nearby food recommendations. We were met by the manager and ushered into a waiting area, and served mint tea, and cookies. While we waited, our luggage was taken upstairs. Breakfast was top-notch, we were served at our table on the rooftop. Our room was large, a sleeping area, a sitting area w/balcony, a separate section for private bath and another balcony. Although we disn't eat dinner there, I'm certain that it would have been up to the standard we encountered for everything else. Would definitely stay here again!

Cons: Location is at the northern end of the medina. Not the fault of the owners, just be aware that it is a long walk down to Jemma al fna (main square). OTOH, it is inexpensive to take a taxi or tuk-tuk to where you want to go. And a positive-- the entrance is 30 ft from a parking lot, so accessible by taxi.

The RIAD is fabulous. From the time we checked in and departure, we got to know all staff including Chris, the owner. There is absolutely nothing that we can be critical of. We took three rooms and we were five in the group. The breakfast was served on the terrace and the dinner on the ground floor. Both had food for all tastes and the lady in charge of the kitchen took our orders in the morning, so that she had the right ingredients. Chris, a very able hotelier, and being from a family of Michelin star chefs, it showed in the choice of dishes served. Chris and the staff assisted us with booking our tours and also the local transport back and forth from wherever we visited. We spent 5 days and we would visit Marrakesh again, and the hospitality beckons us to go back again!

Cons: Nothing in particular.

Beautiful riad. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful. The whole place was very authentic, if you’re looking for a place to stay to get the feel of true Moroccan living. There is a dipping pool on the roof, which is good for cooling down.

Cons: The walk to the souks is like a maze, so it’s easy to keep taking the wrong turns. If you don’t want to take cabs it may be too far out, but we enjoyed walking to most places.

The Riad itself is amazing in a good location.. 10 minute walking from Majorel Gardens and a little more to Medina.. Breakfast was good, everyday something different, typical marroquí. The staff super polite and friendly with everyone. I would recommend it but sure not return.

Cons: Spa was not included in our booking. Disappointed because dry sauna was off and "the electric bill" is too high to turn it on and if we want so it will be charged.

Fantastic historic and authentic Riad with beautiful and spacious rooms and two lovely courtyards for having drinks/dinner and chilling. Cons: Location, Sewage smell in the room, TV didn't work. complained twice about the sewage smell in the room, first time we were told it's coming from outside and second time we were told that room didn't have a problem but they did have another room with a sewage problem insinuating I was making up the story. we decided to leave a day earlier.

1. Exceptionally clean, given it is 38 degrees, didn't see even one ant in the room 2. Lovely pastries made by chef 3. Care taken with facilities in the room, black soap, etc 4. Loved the terrace, pool, breakfast was wonderful and varied each day, beautiful terrace with orange trees 5. Excellent personal hammam and massage ( pay the lady direct not the riad, wasn't expecting this but luckily I had the euros) 6. Guide sorted at a day's notice, again pay guide directly 7. Walkable distance to centre, 25 min, follow the blue arrow and follow Google too. People on the way will try and tell you the road is closed, mosque etc, not sure why they say that but it happened twice. Once we just ignored it and there was no riad closure and once we just changed our route. We always took cabs back at night , wasn't sure about walking back at night 8. Really polite and friendly staff

Cons: 1. Noticed a book with very helpful restaurant recommendations on the last day, so make sure you read it on day 1. No one mentioned it to us on check in but they did give us a map and pointed out good places which was very useful 2.one of the junior suites which we booked is downstairs in the courtyard Felt odd and we had to keep doors and endows closed for privacy so limited daylight and room felt dark all the time. On thd plus side, it did mean the room was cool esp in 38 degrees. Room is very big so that is good. Riad was fully booked so we couldn't move to another room.

Friendly welcome from Christine the owner on arrival. Rooms excellent, staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast on the roof terrace lovely but way too much for us to eat, lunch and dinners all very tasty. Location quiet and safe about 20-30 minute walk to main square but taxi cheap enough. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Cons: I had been looking forward to the hammam treatment and massage but you could not lye down when the mud was on you had to sit up which was not very relaxing and I felt the massage was a bit rushed.

The staff in Riad Ayadina were fantastic and very much the highlight of the Riad! They were incredibly helpful and friendly, and were very welcoming and patient - in organising day trips, advice on places to go, and arranging getting to the airport on time for a very early flight home. It is really clean and comfortable. The location is at the edge of the old town, so both the old and new town are accessible on foot - you just need to get used to finding your way through the windy streets - this is part of the fun!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend. Thank you شكرًا لك

Loved the escape from a sometimes chaotic Marrakech. The Riad was wonderfully appointed. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect - at least for us. we had a car and were able to park in a parking area immediately outside of the Medina. The riad was located within 50 ft of the gate to the medina. great value.

Amazing property with all the amenities you would need. The room was very spacious and cleaned to a very high standard each day. The breakfast we had each morning was delicious, varied and perfect before a days sightseeing. We only ate dinner there on our first night but really enjoyed our Moroccan meal. The spa area was beautiful and we had the most amazing Hammam experience. The rooftop terrace and pool area really top it off with great views across the city and, for us, it was a welcome oasis from all the bustle. The best part of the Riad was the staff who were all friendly, attentive and really helpful throughout our stay.

Cons: The bed was quite hard but we did get used to this as the week went on.

We thought the food and the staff were great. Best seafood pastilla weve tried in Morocco. It was comfortable in our room which was huge and the heating was excellent. Make sure you know what you're booking though as I reserved a bath with a shower rather than a standup shower. We also liked that it was right next to a Medina carpark so we could get our hire car delivered there and the road goes straight on to the Atlas mountain pass, Tizi n Tichka, plus there's a petrol station as you leave the carpark so we were set for a quick getaway. Nice and quiet at night. Great choice for our overnighter.

We stayed in the Junior Suite which was private, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The soft furnishings were lovely. On the one hand there wasn’t a shower, but there was a lovely bath with nice soaps provided. Breakfast was tasty and included some authentic Moroccan food. The host was welcoming, but not warm. There was lovely ambient music and scents, and a nice fire in the communal area in the evening.

Cons: The decor was quite old fashioned. It’s quite a long walk to the centre of the Medina and is quite far from any other sights - though easy to get a taxi. The room didn’t include a shower, but just a bath. The roof terrace was nice, but didn’t afford many sights and was strangely laid out, though there was a small pool up there. The spa treatments and offers weren’t mentioned and didn’t seem to be available at the time we visited.

The staff of this riad went above and beyond to please us. Shout out to Nour-Eddine and the rest of the staff. I can't express how welcome they made us feel. The food was amazing. Very different from what we are used to, but so delicious. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The location was around 30 mins from the Medina but it is easy to find the way to it. There were helpful people everywhere who can guide you. Also, the staff in the riad provides a map for easier orientation. I would recommend this riad if you want to be close to Jamaa el Fna Square, but not too close to hear the noise of it. This riad is also close to a gate which makes it comfortable for excursion pick up and drop off.

Cons: We didn't like the owner of this riad as she was chasing a local cat with a small brunch of a tree when there were other alternative methods to get the cat out of her riad (which was her desire). Also, she was making us feel awkward by making statements based on her personal preferences such as: "Mediterranean people are the best" and when I complimented her staff she took all the credit saying: " This is because they have a good manager" e.i. herself. This is only my personal opinion but the staff were amazing without her intervention. They were performing perfectly even when she was not there. Also, this is not the right way to show off your personal skills. Another thing, the pool was often covered and it was not heated as advertised, and the jacuzzi was not available either.

Most beautiful riad, beautiful room really spacious with lovely roll top bath, all staff were really friendly and helpful, breakfast and evening meal was amazing. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family.

Cons: We booked two spa treatments, my partner had a massage which he enjoyed however I am a therapist myself and the facial I had was not up to standard at all I was left with facial exfoliation on for 10 minutes while the therapist sat down and then again with the face mask when normally while these treatments are on the therapist would give the client a scalp massage or a hand massage or neck and shoulder so you are feeling relaxed too, I did not feel relaxed I felt like creams and products just applied not in a relaxing way at all, also there was no music playing I had to ask for music. This is the only downside of the stay, These treatments are carried out from someone outside of the riad who comes in to do them.

This Riad and staff are outstanding! from the moment we booked, their attention to detail and being of assistance was impeccable, arranging taxis and trips to the mountains - The staff made us feel like it was our home and couldn’t do enough! we loved the log fire, the roof terrace with pool and the food and wine on offer was first class. We will be back and would choose this accommodation over any other, especially the bland hotel chains (Hilton, Novotel etc…) - this hotel makes you feel safe and that you have an extended family in the colourful city of Marrakesh! thanks to Christine and the excellent team :)

Very cosy and has a home like feeling, with lovely details and interiors. staff are very welcoming and cheerful. The Riad and its owner Christine were right on the mark. The Riad is perfectly done and immaculately clean. Casual vibe, elegant interior, punctuated by great lighting, art and foliage. The service was like staying at a 5-star hotel, but more relaxed. We could not have asked for more. The breakfasts we enjoyed were both delicious and hearty. We had dinner one night at the Riad and found it to have a very modern presentation with a stacked salad and roasted chicken with Moroccan ingredients and a very French potato side dish. Christine is is an absolute treasure, knows Marrakech like the back of her hand and is always available to help. After taking a few of her suggestions, we just decided to do whatever she said which made for a fun and more interesting trip. The only fault we could find was that she was very optimistic about our taxi negotiating abilities (pro tip: find a cab driver you like, get his whatsapp phone number and pay 50 dirham ($5/USD) for trips around town. You're happy, he's happy).

Cons: There is nothing we could improve upon except maybe allowing the breakfast to include their poached egg on lentil beans each morning.

The Riad is in a good position on the edge of the medina and is lovely with a lovely Moroccan decor. The location is handy for taxis to the square and trip pick ups. it is walking distance into the souks. The 3 course dinners are lovely and set up in the courtyard, we stayed for 7 nights in a junior suite which was huge, decor was lovely with a comfortable bed. We ate twice in the Riad, both times the food was lovely. Breakfast was lovely and set up on the roof terrace each morning. The staff are very friendly and attentive and even provided us with breakfast at 06:30hr on our day of departure and the owner Christine very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this Riad and especially if you drink alcohol as this Riad has a alcohol licence opposed to many others who do not.

The riad is beautiful inside with lovely colours and thought given to how everything looks. It is exactly as you'd imagine a riad to be. Our room was quite large. Staff were generally very helpful and friendly, with 2 especially clearly enjoying their jobs and going out of their way to provide great service. Breakfast on the first day was very good. The pool is small, but nice to cool off in. Good views from the terrace. Convenient for the Medina, but also easy to get to the property as it is on the very edge of the walls.

Cons: Breakfast on the 2nd day was "ok" and the 3rd it really wasn't very good at all. Beer is expensive (I think 50dhm for a bottle of Casablanca and something like 80dhm for a rum and coke). The air conditioning was just up to keeping the bed cool but couldn't keep the whole room cool.
